I believe this has been brought to the Whills attention,
But just in case, it would appear that Avast is currently listing JvS as an untrusted site. I believe some people have just disabled their webshield, others have been able to get rid of their browser addon. Another option I've been suggesting to people, is to switch over to AVG, or another anitvirus program. It would appear that someone or some people have taken to down voting the site's trust worthiness as far as Avast is concerned. Might be something the Whills may want to investigate, since so far, about half a dozen people that I know have been affected, meaning this could have a much more widespread affect on other users.
cheers,

With a name like "Avast," this is clearly the fault of those dastardly Bloodrage Pirates.

My daily scan from avast also flagged some old links to various threads as being infected with a Trojan. These were links from the old site, not our current proboards.

Yes, we are aware of the issue, although so far the blame seems to point toward Avast or ProBoards - I ran some scans using a different tool and found nothing. Kebiin, could you PM me the details of those old links? And anyone who wants to help us sort this out, could you try archive.jedivsith.com and support.proboards.com and tell me if either of those are blocked?

Reported to Avast as a false positive. Seems to be just JvS, not all of ProBoards.

3 days of finger pointing and conflicting scan results but it should be fixed now.
Update from Avast support: Avast Virus lab reviewed and disabled the detection. They recommend updating Avast virus definitions: open Avast and go to > Settings (gear icon) > Update > Virus Definitions - click "Update"
