Only able to get a few more shots off to take down a couple more droids, Draven reached the area in which some of the men assigned to him were. They too were engaged. It made sense considering they held the weapon caches. If the droids required a weapon or sought to defend something, this would be one of those things they'd divert to.
Firing off a few rounds in front of him, he then jumped and gave a few swipes with his sword, bringing down six more in total. Moving past the collection of droids, he evaded their fire and ducked behind a barricade the men had set up.
"So what's the situation?"
The one in charge since he left looked at him dumbfounded.
"Really? What's the situation? Looks kind of obvious if you ask me?"
Draven couldn't hold back an eye roll as he pulled out a flask and took a swig.
"You really going smart ass with me right now? I'm asking how the team is holding up and if we have received any other kind of word."
The soldier fired off a few more shots, bringing another droid down.
"They came out of nowhere, but the sounds of droids walking around in a quiet ship aren't the hardest thing to hear. We were mostly prepared. Let us set up a defensive line. Still, the numbers are high and they are relentless trying to get in. The others guarding the other caches are also being hit. Not to mention every other team that's here. More troops have been sent in from the ships, so there must be a lot."
Draven Heart sighed as he took another drink before putting the flask away.
"Of course there would be. Give me cover fire. It's time to clean house."
Not waiting for a response, Draven jumped back over and fired a few more shots as he worked to dodge the blaster bolts and began hacking away, using what droids he could as shields to keep him moving longer. The others, dumbfounded at first, began firing helping keep the others off of Draven as here went to town on them.

Should be another minute, Boss!
The holoimage of a technician leader was seen before their masked employer as they worked to shut down the signal for the droid security. Already, tens of men had fallen to the blaster fire that was not expected. Ghaz had underestimated the security left by the Grand Confederacy. Too eager to gain such a prize.
Well shut it down! No need to report to me any further unless complications arise.
Ghaz cuts off the comlink before turning back to his men who were surveying some large containers, left ideal by some transports. There were loads of them found in this hangar bay and the next few down. One was finally cracked by a electrician squad which caused the door to open. Flashlights turned on blaster rifles as they pointed inward. Before the eyes of his thugs, the glittering of gold credits and bars. The commander slowly lowered his rifle and turned to Ghaz.
=Fortunate Sun Commander= Boss... its credits. Mountains and mountains of credits and gold bars!
Several more squads reported the same thing as well as caches of blaster rifles, explosives, and armor. Ghaz grinned under his mask. This ship wasn't a true war vessel... it was an immense treasure ship! It was likely set to bring newly built weaponry from Hypori and had been transporting revenue from another former world of the Confederacy.
Suddenly, the signal went dead and the blaster fire from the droids ceased as they fell to the ground where they stood. Others, like the commando droids, simply went into standby. The fighting ended and the ship could be more secured. A transmission went to Metis.
Metis, you'd best get over to the other side of the ship. Fortune smiles upon us.
The voice of Ghaz spoke to her.

Metis had been doing her best to protect her teams, running to and fro with her lightsaber drawn. But when the droids suddenly went dead, she got a moment to relax, and draw some mustaches on the deactivated droids. But it wasn't long lived as her masters voice crackled over the radio. "Fortune smiles upon us." She liked the sound of that and started making her way over to Ghaz. On her way, she signaled Lucky Star the all clear.
The Twi'lek soon found herself in the treasury and let out a whistle. Well well well. Looks like the operation paid for itself and then some! What's the next move, Boss?

Ghaz moves away from the teams of his elite troopers as they continued cracking open crates and finding credits and weapons abundant. He motions to Metis as both master and apprentice moved away from the scene. Slowly, his gloved hand reached up, touching the mask gently as a soft hiss was heard. The mask was then removed and hidden beneath his cloak. The hood remained up as they waited till they were a distance away from the rest. None but Metis knew of his real identity. There are a couple next moves. First, get this ship running so we can take her some place quiet and unseen to modify her.He nods in the direction of the credits. That should help with paying for materials. The logs mention that this ship carried a planet's worth of tax revenue. His hand cups up to scratch his furry chin. Then there is a certain Hutt, a Vigo of Black Sun, who wants Separatist materials. Guns, droids, and what not. I may send teams down to Hypori to inspect some factories. The logs on this ship mention reactivated foundries on the surface. Payment would be in unrefined spice.

While her demeanor had been one of 'carefree party girl' after the battle, seeing the face beneath the Ghaz mask truly brought Metis off edge. The Twi'lek raised a brow and smiled coyly at her master at the mention of just how much money they had found. That's a good bit of extra revenue. Can we expect some Life Day bonuses this rotation? But at the mention of a Hutt Metis shifted into mock nagging and teasing. Well, I guess the rumors aren't true; you don't tell me everything. Anyway, I thought the whole point of us doing this job was to get out from under and away those fat thumbs? While Hutts were a major player in the slave trade (something Metis detested) she knew better than to challenge them on it wholesale, just make it harder and more expensive for them.

Zalam rolls his eyes as Metis reminds him of his own words.
It's merely a buyer to sell off any excess material we have gained from this venture. Besides... when a Vigo of the Black Sun comes knocking, you had best open your door. Hutts are one thing, Black Sun is something on a whole different level.
The feline male wanted to keep things simple between this buyer. Ghaz would be wary, himself, if the Hutt sought out a longer partnership. The Jinn Cabal enjoyed its freedom and this ship of theirs would aid them in ensuring that continued freedom. Keeping to the Outer Rim and outside of Hutt Space namely.
With the planet's worth of revenue, you may get a Life Day bonus... or two.
Zalam raises two fingers and chuckles. He gaze then turns out of the hangar bay where Hypori was barely seen.
May likely need to explore the planet for any droids we could add to security. The logs mentioned fresh foundries that the Grand Confederacy reactivated. Seems they had droid, weapons, and vehicle assembly lines below... might be worth a scavenge.
There was a lot to consider now with this ship in their possession. Hypori presented a means where raw material, refined metals, and caches of droids and weapons would be of use in getting this ship operational. However, he wouldn't want to modify the vessel here.
We could likely take the vessel to Dagobah or Endor. Worlds that are relatively left untouched by the greater galaxy. Endor has the plus of Bakura being nearby if we need to buy additional goods... Dagobah is a bit more isolted.

The battle raged on as Draven Heart and the team assigned to him worked to bring the droids down. It was a task, but not impossible. As they went, surprise fell upon them for a moment as the droids suddenly powered down. Pushing a droid in front of him over, he smirked a bit as he turned back to the team.
"Well, seems like someone finally was able to shut these things down. Wouldn't have minded it to be done sooner, but I guess I shouldn't complain. Saves us the trouble of dealing with all of them." He then replaced his blaster and sword. "Take a little break. Then we'll get these weapons gathered up."
As the team put their weapons down and sat down, Draven pulled out his communicator. Draven Heart reporting in. The droids here have been handled or deactivated. We are now working to gather up the weapon cache sites. What next, Ghaz?

Zalam could probably almost see the credit signs popping up in Metis' eyes when he confirmed the likely hood of bonuses. But her gaze followed his out toward the vastness of space, though it didn't seem so vast given how much of this ship was in the way. She'd need to make sure her room was on the outside edge of the ships ring, or on the upper part of the control core. But these thoughts were fleeting as the mention of more tasks brought her attention to the barely viewable planet. And then she couldn't help but chuckle as her boss finished his last thoughts.
Dagobah? Really? Look, I've heard the Skywalker Saga a dozen times, but you really think that swamp actually exists? But as for the planet this planet that is very much real and based in fact, I can have my team and I take a look around down there while you get things up here squared away. Unless you just like having me around too much? The Twi'lek flashed her winning smile his way to punctuate that bit of further teasing.

>>ALL BATTLE DROID FORCES DEACTIVATED AS ORDERED!<< Kian Ti sighed in relief as the console confirmed the shutdown of the station's security system. In the end the fight was tense, as one of her Magnaguard bodyguards was damaged and some of the pirates and engineers were wounded by blaster shots, but the casualties on the droid side were higher than her own. No major losses, no deaths. One of the rare occasions, where her Syndicate was lucky. Kian Ti was certain that most of the Weequays would have died, wouldn't she and her bodyguards have been present - in the end they were no soldiers, just ordinary criminals with guns. Unlike Clankers, who despite their messy programming sometimes, were made for war.
Reaching for her com, the Syndicate leader decided to inform Lord Ghaz or whomever she could reach of the situation. "Ti here. We deactivated the whole mess and have secured the consoles. Might need a medic or someone who can do miracles on blaster wounds over here, other than that we're fine. Hope it was worth the risk and you guys are still alive as I have better things to do than guarding a graveyard." The Kaminoan hoped that everything that was done so far was been worth the prize of risking her own life for this battle station, which might soon become something far greater. So far she wouldn't speak too much about Ghaz' payment, as she hoped that she and her Syndicate would favor the most out of this deal - for it could mean more independence from the other cartels and thus also the Hutts.

If it is hard to believe that it exists, then will likely be an ideal place to hide and modify our vessel.Zalam states as he turns away to look down at his mask for a moment. A thought had come back into his head, many times over. With the Jinn Cabal ready to take the next step forward, was it time to leave the masked face behind? There were still a lot of things to consider... the Cabal's future, getting this shadowport modified and running, paying his allies, and such. Slowly, the mask disappears, once more beneath his cloak.
The half-Cathar male turns to Metis when she speaks further. A smile crosses his furred face.I know you like to explore. But... maybe I don't want you to leave. Plenty to exploring on this ship after all. Plenty to explore at my side. The male gestures to the hangar bay before turning to wink at Metis. There was a time to be master and apprentice and there was a time to be themselves... after winning the vessel, the latter was welcomed. Their conversation was interrupted by two contacts from their allies, Draven Heart and Kian Ti. Seemed they managed to get through this unscathed.Draven Heart reporting in. Zalam keys the two communications together.Bring your wounded to the hangar bays and I will support personnel be deployed from our transports, Ti. Same with you, Heart. If anyone needs to be evacuated to the ships that brought us here, they will be. Finish up what you two are doing and head over to the hangar bays on the other side of this vessel. Metis is here already. The male glances at Metis before speaking further.Should have your payments, plus a little extra for retirement plans to Corellia or Zeltros, ready for you lot.Zalam keys the communication off, looking at the crates then points to one. His gaze turns to Metis.Don't you worry your pretty head, Metis. You will get a few more extra for you and your crew. Gotta spoil my apprentice sometimes. He grins at her, keeping up with their relaxed tone now that the battle for the ship was over.

Understood. On our way now.
Cutting off the communicator, Draven looked back to the men. "Alright, reach out to the other groups and have them start collecting up their caches, and let's head out." Waiting for everyone to get everything together, the team headed out. Luckily, Draven's men had held together just fine and didn't need any medical attention or evacuation. Following the orders from Ghaz, Draven led them to the hangar bay on the other side.
Upon their arrival, the team set out all the weapons that had been gathered as Draven attempted to locate Ghaz and Metris. He caught a glance at a few of the crates and the contents inside which caused him to stop for a moment to speak to the group there. "Well, looks like this job paid for itself quite well, didn't it?"

::Understood.::
Ending the communication, the Kaminoan pirate leader left one of her bodyguards behind, informing those who were wounded of Lord Ghaz' decision. She ensured nontheless that security and guards nearby the consoles were maintained in order to ensure the safety of the station. For the moment she wasn't too keen on ordering her henchmen to search for more loot or more droids, which they could reconfigurate - the last thing she could always discuss with Lord Ghaz while at the same time she neither wanted to risk more battle droids being awoken from their slumber. Nothing she wanted to explain the mysterious cartel leader in person.
She eventually arrived at the meeting point as well, leaving the wounded to those, who would take care of them, looking around for her employer and the Twi'lek, who worked for him. The cover of her Magnaguard droid, if it wasn't already obvious enough to distinquish it from a regular humanoid, was pretty much torn down by the enemy droid's blaster shots, revealing now the mechanical parts, which were hidden before here and there. The Kaminoan herself fared so far better, as solely few burnt portions of her cloak showed that she had luckily dodged some blaster shots without getting seriously injured in the process. So far Kian Ti silently joined up with a group, which the other member of the team, 'Heart' as he was apparently named, had approached. She didn't knew much about him and had him so far ignored. Seemed though as if he was important enough for Ghaz to trust him with another team. Well, no matter what she personally thought of him, they were paid for their job by someone, who knew what he was doing. The Lucrehulk was claimed, just as the Lord wished them to do. Whoever this guy was, she could see him as a professional. And professionals were always something to look out for, whether for hiring or for keeping an eye on them.

Metis gave a wink and smile to Zalam as he ensured she'd be properly spoiled. And don't worry, I won't spend it all at the bar... probably. She sashayed away, though with a little less effect as she was still in her combat armor. She found a create to half lean and half sit on and waited for the others to arrive. The Twi'lek gave a friendly smile to Kian Ti and Draven as they arrived. Metis was eager to see if these two would stick around with the Cabal or take their payments and scram. New faces were fun, but also competition for jobs and rank. Though she had little to worry about in her current position, big names and personalities like them could shake things up. All the same, she was happy to see they made it through unscathed.

Zalam watches Metis sashay away. It made him grin and chuckle.
The mask had returned to his face while their allies came to the hangar bays on the opposite side of the Lucrehulk. Fresh reports were coming in from the engineering and scouting parties as they examined every nook and cranny. After all, once the ship was fully able to fly, the crews onboard would be given quarters as they departed for their destination to get this vessel up and running. They'd likely be in the Hypori system for a bit however. As Draven and Ti arrived, Ghaz was speaking with the ship crews, indicating that the reinforcements on those vessels be used to go planet side to secure any additional materials, weapons and such.Upon their arrival, the team set out all the weapons that had been gathered as Draven attempted to locate Ghaz and Metris. He caught a glance at a few of the crates and the contents inside which caused him to stop for a moment to speak to the group there. "Well, looks like this job paid for itself quite well, didn't it?" Draven likely spoke for Kian Ti with that question as well. Ghaz gestures to one of the open crates where the soldiers were checking the authenticity of the credits and the gold bars. All had to be checked for their logged cargo and double checked for their value and authenticity. This vessel seemed to have been a treasure ship for the Confederacy.Ghaz explains.A planet's worth of revenue is in this vessel. Which means I pay you nearly double what I promised and enough to ensure you have some leftover for retirement plans. However, be aware that majority of this revenue will be used to get what we need to fix up this vessel. The masked boss's hand pats the durasteel wall behind him.Hopefully, there are resources on Hypori that can help. Logs indicated that foundries for droids, materials, and weapons were reactivated by the Grand Confederacy. Should prove to be enough to get this Lucrehulk fully modified. With that said, he turns to Kian Ti and Draven Heart....and where will you two go after this?

Draven Heart gave a whistle as Ghaz began to speak, indicating just how much money rested within the ship. It was certainly a score, one that would make any crime lord, smuggler, or pirate drool. And he just so happened to be here when it was discovered. Perhaps his luck was beginning to turn itself around. A payout like this could certainly get him by for the rest of his life if invested properly. That just left what he would do with himself once everything was done and over with.
It was something he had been contemplating for some time, since before his arrival on Tatooine. At that point, he had next to nothing and wanted to just disappear. At the time, he knew he'd either have to find a job of some sort or fall into some kind of working relationship as a mercenary, pirate, or smuggler. It was what he was good at, so it would make the most credits the fastest. But this changed everything. Not only was the original payout going to get him set for a bit, but this development would let him live well. But then he'd end up succumbing to boredom. He might have enjoyed a drink, but he couldn't stand the idea of just sitting around.
It was then the question was asked, life now looking for an answer to his questions. Looking at the credits for a moment, he then glanced back to Ghaz with a shrug. "Don't really know. Wasn't much sure when I first showed up at your bar, and this payout completely changes the game. Could just retire and relax, but, honestly, doesn't much suit me. I was raised as a warrior and a pirate. May stick to that, if only for the thrill it gives. Then again, few things can do that as raiding Sith ships can. Can't say I'll join your crew, but maybe I'll stick around a do a few more jobs until I get a better idea. If you'll have me that is."
Taking the flash from his shirt, he took a deep swig of the liquid as he waited for Ghaz's reply. He was also curious as to what the others would say considering his old profession. Up until this point, all he had revealed was he was good in a fight and knew what he was doing. It was only now that he let slip the possibilities of his skill and that he had grown up in this type of life.

Kian Ti waited for the moment, allowing Ghaz and the others to speak up before she would offer her opinion. Her smaragd-green eyes rested briefly on @dravenheart , before she decided to intervene. Not that he was more special than the rest of the gathered thugs, but she had now at least a better picture of him. "There's always work on my syndicate, darling", she solely teased him, while continiueing with a more serious voice, "No matter the future, there's always stuff to raid for a pirate and good men are always hard to find and even harder to replace. Someone like you, Mr.'Heart' will always find work. But not everyone can pay well." Her long neck, hidden by her veil turned slowly towards Lord Ghaz, more humble as she respected the cartel leader's honesty. So far Kian Ti hadn't even known that the freighter held quite some riches nor the details about Hypori's surface. Not that it mattered too much, but she was certain that those details were hardly shared freely around by someone in the services of the Hutts or other cartel leaders. Perhaps the Lord was a bit too trustworthy, but given of the demonstration, the Kaminoan had seen earlier on Tatooine she neither deemed him as too naive.
"And speaking of good payment, I'd take what was promised for the Syndicate, while there's so far only interest from my side when it comes to those droids and their equipment", Ti solely said, pointing over towards her Magnaguard bodyguard, "The last deal I had with a Grand Confederacy turncoat required me to tell the seller that I usually don't buy Clone Wars tech with hidden thermaldetonators, so the negotiations were quite short and unfortunately these guys die out like flies or defect to other gouvernments like this Corellian Coalition, if the Hutts or shadier buiseness men don't buy or confiscate their stocks. For the moment I would say the Ti Syndicate has still interest in maintaining deals with your cartel, Lord Ghaz. More advanced battle droids like these Magnaguards are a fine replacement for the men, I lose during the raids, whether it be by boarding, getting shot from their cockpit or being taken prisoner by a planetary gouvernment. Even if the maintainence is horrendous and the reprogramming a nightmare, according to my technicians, it's still worth the effort and I would pay good prizes for them. Perhaps even go that far and fullfill more favors if you wish so."

Draven glanced over to the Kaminoan as she spoke. He gave a bit of a laugh as he shrugged. "I guess that really depends on how I broadcast myself. However, I'm not one to care about getting to know people enough that they can learn about me. This lucky company is the only one to know such facts outside of pirates I was born into. But I'm always up for a good job if you have need of my services, sweetheart."
Giving a small wink, Draven took another swing from his flash before putting it away and brushing his hair back out of his face, his attention once again returning to Ghaz.

"The name is Kian Ti, if you insist on getting personal as well", the syndicate leader replied sharp, yet slightly amused, "Not sure if you want that though, as my admirers tend to last less longer in my presence. Call it a curse or whatever. But when it comes to the job I'll keep it in mind."

Well, it seemed Ghaz could rely on these two which pleased him. Beneath his mask, the Cathar smiled, a rare moment.
I believe I can now, fully, unveil my plans for this vessel.
The male reaches into his cloak and pulls out a small datachip, which he threw at Kian Ti. Once it was accessed, it revealed a large network of resources and cash flow that dated back many months ago. All kinds of jobs that detailed the resources gained and were then diverted to a sole account. This sole account labeled a number of projects; refitting, refurbishing, and expansion. Then the details expanded further to reveal a full layout of the Lucrehulk and the details of its refitting to a degree of insanity.
This fine vessel we control now is going to be turned into a mobile shadowport.
Ghaz concludes before gesturing at the hangar bay they were in.
One day, hangars, like this, will be filled with visitors. The internal parts of the vessel will become a moving city from which the Underworld can come, do business, and make money. A means to move resources around in the Outer Rim without the watch of the Empire, the Coalition, the Jedi, the Sith, or anyone.
The masked Cathar turns back to the two individuals before glancing at Metis.
The central hub will become the fortress of the Jinn Cabal and her worthy allies. We will turn the droids into a police force, smash down walls to expand them for people to purchase and turn into... hotels, casinos, markets, and such. And all the money trickles into our pockets. And not a hand from the Hutts.
Ghaz, for once, chuckles at his own words.
So, what do you think? A future worth grabbing, you two?

Draven watched as Ghaz handed Kian Ti the datachip. He was sure it carried a bunch of data that didn't matter to him unless it was how he'd know the plan for the vessel. Luckily, the man kept speaking, telling them the plans. Crossing his arms, his head tilted back as he took in the information. "That's quite a plan. I doubt you'd make this attempt unless you had everything you needed in place and ready. Otherwise, I'd call you a fool. Still, I see it as a very profitable venture. This place is certainly big enough to hold everything and being mobile and not locked in a single place keeps it from being tracked and found easily."
Draven thought on the prospect and what kind of role he could be in such a plan. He wasn't much of someone who cared about running a business like some crime lords and that like, so he wouldn't follow that route. And he wasn't one for sitting around in one place for long periods of time. The most he could see himself doing his handling bounty, mercenary, and maybe smuggling and transport jobs for the Jinn Cabal and Ti Syndicate. That alone would be more than enough to keep him active and entertained. "Certainly sounds good to me. I'm in."
