High Admiral Savage, along with Admiral Petrovsky made their way to the office of the Supreme Commander. After expressing interest in an audience with the Supreme Commander, Savage and Petrovsky were ushered forward. Upon entering the Office, Savage's eyes scanned over for the uniformed figure of Nicademus. Clearing his throat, he spoke.
"Supreme Commander. I would like to take but a moment of your time. I have a matter I would like to bring to your attention."
Savage waited patiently for Nicademus to acknowledge him before continuing. He was a busy man, after all.

Nicademus was presently speaking with some officers and officials with the ever-approaching grand event scheduled for the First Order in the coming weeks. There was much to plan and organize, but the appearance of the High Admiral caused a pause in that conversation. The Imperial leader dismisses the others present, waiting till they had departed fully before giving his undivided attention to Lord Savage. He noticed that there was another person present, an Admiral by the badges on his chest.Lord Savage, you may speak freely.

Clearing his throat, the Sith spoke once more.
"As you may or may not have been aware, I have been seeking to expand the Sith for quite some time. In doing so, I will have to sacrifice a few of my duties to the First Order. Namely my position as High Admiral. I have, however, been training my replacement."
Savage gestures towards the uniformed man beside him.
"This is Admiral Harlan Petrovsky, a Coruscant native who has attened the best academies of his time. I have been grooming him to replace me for several months now. I would like for him to be my successor, as I feel he is adequately equipped to fill my shoes...so to speak."
Now, normally Savage didn't have the patience for pomp and protocol, but for right now, he was still reliant on the First Order's support. And given that he was still a Grand Moff of the Iridonia Oversector, he needed to play by the rules, or at least make it seem like he was. Hopefully Nicademus would see the logic in his choice.

Nicademus was somewhat aware of the increasing Sith presence in the First Order. Viox Savage had sought to knit them together from what he could tell. He did not pry into that business though as Sith were not his field, even though he had been educated by one. The Supreme Commander glances at Harlan Petrovsky. The man kept a tight uniform and sound posture, showing discipline. The Imperial doubted that the man would have survived if he wasn't disciplined.
I see no reason not to accept your recommendation. After all, your active duty as High Admiral is spotless and you have proven yourself as the vital commander that I knew you would be. The defense of Taris, after all, was done on your command as well as the attack on Arkania.
Now it was time to ask the man himself.
Do you feel you will fit the recommendation of Lord Savage? Will you bring the First Order greater glory and victories?

Saren's patience eventually paid off, and he was escorted into the office of the Supreme Commander - an impressive, regal, official-looking office, one that suited the amount of power that the man in the desk before him wielded.
When Saren first laid eyes on the man known as Nicademus Delvardus IV, he was surprised and impressed at how young he looked. He had heard tales of how the man had rose to power, but to see Delvardus in person, Saren wouldn't have guessed it was the same man. No doubt, though, that his mere presence demanded attention and respect. He was proper, had a firm and healthy posture, one that any true Imperial could emulate.Another Knight of Ren? I doubt Soku sent you... he usually comes himself after all. What can I do for you? Saren shook his head politely. Although the deep, cybernetically-enhanced voice coming through his jaw-guard was meant to intimidate, right now it held a more polite and slightly amused tone to it as he spoke his first to the Supreme Commander...
"You flatter me, Supreme Commander Delvardus. I am no Knight of Ren - not yet, at least. I'd like to think of myself as a prospect. But, I'll get to that later." He paused only for a brief moment to change his tone to a more business-like approach. He had rehearsed this meeting in his mind many times, and now it was time to deliver. "You may call me 'Saren,' and I am a Jedi hunter. Like you, Supreme Commander, I am deeply convicted that the self-righteous order of Jedi Knights, the so-called 'defenders of the galaxy,' are little more than terrorists who would seek to undermine the stability, peace and prosperity that you seek to envision through the First Order. I have made it my personal goal to see their like eradicated from our galaxy, and my skill-set and command of the Force is tailored to do just that. But I am one man, with little more than a ship, a loyal crew, and three-hundred members of my own personal guard and Jedi-hunting fighters. I can only do so much on my own. Which is why I have come here. I need the First Order's aid, and you could, no doubt, make use of my unique skill-set to protect your vision from the Jedi that would seek to destroy it. But - you need not take my word for it..."
Saren slowly and calmly took out a small holoprojection device from his belt and held it in his hand as if to prepare to show something to the Supreme Commander.
"...I have come, Supreme Commander Delvardus, to offer you an intriguing proposal. A demonstration of my talents, perhaps. And to warn you of a very great danger that could threaten this galaxy's future. If you would be willing to listen to it, that is."

Upon being addressed directly by the Supreme Commander, Harlan stepped forward. Maintaining the 'at ease' posture, he answered the question, looking directly back at his superior officer.
"Sir. Yes sir, I do. As the High Admiral has mentioned, I have been running exercises within the Unknown Regions since I first noticed your rising prominence. After that I enlisted under your service shortly before the Battle of Dantooine. After suffering a complete loss of the ships under my command due to superior numbers and the element of surprise, High Admiral Savage enlisted me to command his forces. Upon proving myself, he had granted me my own command once more. With it, I shall bring order to a chaotic galaxy. Spread discipline and civility to the systems that need them, and bring about the utter defeat of our enemies. Sir."
His voice was confident, full of conviction and strong. He believed every word he had just spoken. He was ready to commit to this new role, should the Supreme Commander grant it to him. With Lord Savage having such a record as he did, his recommendation would probably be the swaying vote.

Nicademus glances down at the procured device. The Dark Siders always had interesting proposals to give to the Supreme Commander and, so far, none had been truly wasteful in his time and attention. The Imperial gestures calmly, permitting the Jedi Hunter to show what he wished to present.Anything that is a threat to my vision of galactic order and peace is well worth my time, Saren.Upon being addressed directly by the Supreme Commander, Harlan stepped forward. He was a commander with experience, who had tasted defeats and victories, and understood the goals of the First Order. Lord Savage had trained this man well. Any other candidate would certainly be overshadowed by the conviction and determination that seemingly permeated from the Coruscanti's person.I like your confidence, Admiral. Confidence and determination. You are dedicated to the cause and understanding of its goals and designs for this galaxy. It is people, like you, that truly drive the First Order. Without such people, we would have stalled long ago.Nicademus gives a nod of approval to Lord Savage before turning his gaze to Admiral Petrovsky.I see no reason to bar this recommendation. By my orders, you are hereby elevated to High Admiral of the First Order, Harlan. I look forward to seeing you in action when the time comes. With peace, though, it will give us time to reorganize the fleet and prepare for the future. Your expertise will certainly come in hand.

Make it so, Lord Xakire. Be discreet and within the protocol of the First Order... I don't want further mistakes like the disastrous raid on Naboo. I want results, I want information, I want advantages for the First Order. The Supreme Commander felt that Xakire could be entrusted with this task. Hopefully results would yield plenty of information that the First Order could use against this growing adversary in the future to come.Is there anything else you can tell me about this CIS? Xakire had heard of the raid on Naboo. Entirely unnessasary and disastrous for the First Order's image and reputation accross the galaxy. Xakire would not make such mistakes. "Intelligence organisations must be subtle to effectively opperate and subtle I will be. I will not repeat the...distasteful events on Naboo, you have my word."His words were sincere, he had no intentions of harming the First Order. "I'll star by having the Intelligence resources at my disposal and some of my own men, conduct undercover operations in suspected CIS worlds to see what we can uncover about this new Confederacy. Best to be patient and careful before attempting more....ambitious operations..."Xakire had some ideas about accomplishing his goal though he would plan further once he had an idea of the resources being assigned to him.
"I will report directly to you...unless you'd prefer I report to the Intelligence Director, though I belive I am ignorant as to who currently holds that position?"
He knew about the disaster at Naboo, though he was unsure what had happened to Yularen, if he was still in charge of Intelligence or if he had been replaced.

It was done. The Supreme Commander spoke his piece, then elevated him to High Admiral. Elation swelled through him, though he showed no signs of it. He was far to disciplined for that kind of display. Bowing his head in acknowledgement of the Supreme Commander's word, he replied.
"By your word, Surpeme Commander. It is an honor and a privilege to receive this this sort of merit and elevation. I will not fail you. Sir."
A new ship, a new command and a new title. Things were certainly looking up for him now. And he owed the majority of his recent good fortune to the Zabrak Sith standing beside him. Not something he had ever expected to happen, but these were strange times, and in strange times, the most unlikely ally usually appeared. But from now on, it was going to be his authority that held the fleets together and kept morale intact. A large responsibility to shoulder, but one he was prepared to carry.

Savage could sense the elation within Harlan, though he showed no exterior signs of it. He was determined. And having done this for Petrovsky, he now had an ally within High Command of the First Order. Clearing his throat, he spoke once more.
"Congratulations, High Admiral Petrovsky. You've earned it. While I step down from being the High Admiral, I will still continue my duties as Grand Moff of the Iridonia Oversector, as well as any other duties you see fit, Supreme Commander. Now, if there was nothing else, I am needed elsewhere."
In truth, he wasn't, but he didn't want to remain within the Supreme Commander's office longer than necessary.

If only Saren wasn't wearing a jaw-guard to cover the lower half of his face, Delvardus would've seen him smile just so slightly in approval. He had the Supreme Commander's undivided attention.
Saren pressed a key on the small holographic device, and a full-scale image of a young, blonde-haired human Jedi Knight appeared...
"This is a human Jedi Knight from the planet Naboo by the name of Zalor Anneri. It is not likely you have heard of him before. He was formally a member of a secret order of Jedi known exclusively as the Jedi Shadows, a network of Jedi spies and saboteurs who operated separately from the Jedi Order proper, and whose identities were well concealed. This small sect of Jedi operatives is now defunct and has been forced into hiding. Their Enclave, hidden on the Forest Moon of Endor has been destroyed, their members scattered throughout the galaxy. Many of them, including Anneri, yet remain at large.
While I am committed to locating and neutralizing the remaining Shadows, Zalor Anneri himself poses an especially pointed threat to the First Order, Supreme Commander. He is not your average Jedi. He may not look like much in appearance, but make no mistake - he is skilled, shrewd, cunning - and powerful. He is a descendant of what may very well be the oldest ancestry line of Jedi Knights in the history of our galaxy. His grandfather was a war hero in the more recent wars; members of the Anneri line were generals in the Clone Wars, resistance leaders in the Rebellion against the Old Galactic Empire. He has Jedi descendants dating back to the waning days of the Old Republic. This lineage was omitted from the annuls of Jedi history for reasons irrelevant to my point, but it is this pedigree that has given him a unique connection to the Force, and what makes him a truly dangerous threat. I have had numerous personal experiences with this Jedi, and have done extensive research on him and his lineage."
Saren shut off the display, and folded his arms behind his back.
"For the past seven years, Zalor Anneri has evaded me, and every effort to locate him has ended in failure. His ability to conceal himself frustrated me to no end. Then..." Saren paused for dramatic effect as he lifted the holographic device in front of him once more... "...your war upon the Galactic Alliance brought him back out of hiding."
Saren touched another key on the device, and a holographic screen appeared, showing what looked like battlefield footage between Galactic Alliance and First Order troops - with one figure wielding a green-bladed lightsaber standing out amidst the confusion...
"This is footage my spies brought to me from the recent major battle on the world of Dantooine. The Jedi you see here is none other than Zalor Anneri himself, leading a group of Alliance troops against a heavily fortified First Order position near the city of Garang. Although your forces on Dantooine were victorious, the intelligence I gathered on Dantooine clearly indicated that Anneri was able to, almost single-handedly defeat an entire battalion of your Stormtroopers with Scout-Transport support and temporarily capture a communications bunker, which in turn had adverse effects on the outcome of the battle. And all to rescue a lone pilot who had crashlanded in the same area, no less. Imagine the destruction he would've caused had he been assigned to the front lines!"
Seemingly a bit upset by the footage, Saren clicked off the device with a visibly angry motion, then returned to his calm demeanor as he looked the Supreme Commander in the eye.
Zalor Anneri may seem like a run-of-the-mill Jedi Knight, but when I say that he may very well be one of the most dangerous Jedi in the galaxy right now, I would not even compare him to the leader of the Felucian or Corellian conclaves, both of whom seem content with hiding in their headquarters and letting others do their dirty work for them. Zalor Anneri is a man of action, and he will not sit idly by while other Jedi fight for him. He, himself, will fell hundreds, if not thousands of your loyal men-in-arms with his own lightsaber blade in the name of the Jedi Order if he is not stopped. This is further compounded by the fact that someone from your legion felt it necessary to attack his home city of Theed, on his homeworld of Naboo. When he finds out about the attack, he will no doubt retaliate against you. And so, with your permission, Supreme Commander, I would like to deliver an exchange of services...
Now came the moment of truth for Saren.
"As a demonstration of my skills and a tribute of loyalty to the First Order, I will volunteer to capture this Jedi and hand him directly over to you personally, to do with as you see fit. Execute him publicly to make an example of him, mount him in your office frozen in carbonite as a trophy, dispose of him, whatever you like."
Saren stopped there. He wanted to ask for what the Supreme Commander would offer him in returned, but he wanted Delvardus to ask him himself, to know that he truly grasped what Saren was trying to offer.

Nicademus looks off to the side as Derek Marr was brought into his office, by request of Commander Piett. There was something familiar about this man placed before him. The Imperial rubs his chin slightly, examining the features of this Derek Marr for some time. Maybe talking to him will help figure things out about why there was a familiarity to the person before him. The Imperial leans back into his chair, making sure he was comfortable for what could be a long conversation.I hear I have to thank you for helping bring down a certain warlord. Commander Piett says your informational skills were very useful in bringing down a scourge within the galaxy. I also hear of your eagerness to join my cause. Tell me, Derek Marr, where are you from? I am from Phelar on Eriadu. However, sir, may I offer a slight correction. It was Commander Piett and his wise actions that were crucial to the defeating of this certain warlord. I just happened to merely get the intel, he needed. I just did my job, Commander Piett did greatness. Derek, looked at Nic with a matter of fact face. He clearly did not like the attention being on him. He was merely content to play in the background. Maybe, it was him being humble? Maybe, it was him being a good intel operative. Giving credit to some other agency when it was really them that did the dirty work. Regardless, Derek did not like attention and he did not like being commended, even if he was a crucial part to play.

It had very much come down to the intel gathered by the other man, but Merrik could understand the desire for the other man to downplay his role and stay under the radar, that was what he did after all. He just wished the man could accept a damn compliment He forces his face back to a more serious expression before addressing the Supreme Commander.
It was a team effort sir. All of the pieces fell into place and we all did our part to make a glorious victory for the Empire. Sure it was technically the First Order or whatever, but Merrik will always believe in the Empire just like he did when it was just the deep core remnant. Oh how far they had come.

Report directly to me, unless I state otherwise, Lord Xakire. The Supreme Commander says affirmatively before looking back at the holo-projector map. His eyes examining the worlds mentioned by Xakire as possible strongholds of this renewed CIS. He ponders upon why this group was seeking to rebuild itself. He had already become all too familiar with how brief Viox wanted to remain in the presence of the Supreme Commander. He began to wonder what Lord Savage may be up to that he stated he was needed elsewhere. For now though, the Imperial decided to take no heed. You may, Lord Savage. Thank you for your time as High Admiral, it will not be forgotten.Once the Sith had departed, the Supreme Commander turns to the newly elevated High Admiral.Peace has come, Admiral Petrovsky... but its tenuous at best. Naboo forced my hand and we had to settle for a status quo on the peace treaty. Yularen got his deserved execution for his actions. We must use this time to reorganize the state and the military. To ensure we can wipe the galaxy clean of our enemies and establish a new order.Nicademus gazes up at the map he had been examining earlier for a moment.Do you have any suggestions on what should be done during this peace?============================== "As a demonstration of my skills and a tribute of loyalty to the First Order, I will volunteer to capture this Jedi and hand him directly over to you personally, to do with as you see fit. There is only one other Jedi who is quite the problem to the First Order's designs.Nicademus recalled the footage recorded by a First Order invasion force on Caamas, where they were single-handedly whipped out by the Grandmaster of the Jedi Order, Aerandir Calmcacil. Aerandir had leadership over the full Order and great skill, while this Zalor was a specialized warrior of the Order. Removing either would prove to be a great hinderance to the enemy in the future.Peace has been established, Lord Saren. But its tenuous and gives us breathing room to reform and reorganize. To prepare and await the next opportunity to strike the killing blow. Another Sith in his ranks... he already had the Knights of Ren and Imperial Knights, not to mention some freelancers here and there. If I were to accept your offer, Lord Venator, where should I place you to make you the most effective? Sander Delvardus had ruined them, but they were rebuilt over a long period of time. Yet Nicademus left it, abandoned his home, for his true destiny. A destiny that set him to one day rule the galaxy.Derek Marr, your expertise will go well with our Intelligence Bureau. And both of you have accomplished a great deed for me and I thank you for your work and efforts. Now, I must consider where to place you.Nicademus would then speak further.Commander Merrik, I am making you Deputy Director to Imperial Intelligence. I know of your skills there and wish to use you to your fullest potential. Derek Marr, if you wish, I desire to make you an Imperial Agent of the First Order. You will continue to work under Commander Piett. Is this agreeable to the two of you?

The clone listened to Nic intently and smiled. "When I can access my memories from the Original, I will be even more powerful, but as it stands, I have decades of combat experience, leading troops and battles. I am also an assassin, albeit I am not discreet. I hate boasting my Lord." He said quietly. "I prefer to use my actions, let them talk for me. I offer my loyalty only in exchange that I be the one to end the last of the Jedi Shadows and my original creator." He said quietly. "Give me the means to do this and in exchange, I pledge my life and loyalty to you and your empire." He said dropping to a single knee. The time for building his own empire had come and gone, now was the time to join a new one. To be a cog of this mighty machine they had built would be a true honor.

The Scout stood back up to attention and nodded to his superior.
Yes, Sir. And my men and I are honored to be part of that swords edge! I look forward to how we can best serve you next.

Post by "Saren" (Terros Ren) on Dec 15, 2017 20:59:49 GMT -8
Saren continued, trying his best to seem unfazed by how well the meeting with the Supreme Commander was going.
"For what I have planned, I would like, at least, a small task force to aid me: a Star Destroyer, an infantry battalion, some fighters - just enough to make certain that any ill-conceived rescue plan from any of Zalor's current or former companions is met with the proper force, after I capture Anneri, that is."
Now it was time to see if Delvardus was convinced that his offer was worth what he wanted.
"In exchange for handing Anneri over to you, however, I would ask of you a place among your Knights of Ren, and everything that I would need, as such, to help you maintain order and safeguard the galaxy from the Jedi threat and any who would harbor them: ships, troops, resources. I want to become more than what I am, Supreme Commander. I want to be a loyal asset of the First Order."
The Jedi-hunter fell silent and remained calm, keeping his arms behind his back in a business-like relaxed pose. He'd hoped he hadn't asked too much of Delvardus, but he could feel that he was warming up to the Supreme Commander.
