The Main Hall of the Sithies Event for 2015 was a massive hall that comprised a vast majority of the space allocated to the Sithies event. A large music stage was positioned at the far end of the Hall with various DJs playing sets during the weekend, whilst there was various small drink and food stalls littered throughout the hall for patrons to purchase food and drinks, whilst a number of lounge set-ups were also set up for people to sit down and relax. A number of holo screens were also set up throughout the hall, broadcasting either from the Music Stage at the far end of the hall, or from the Main Stage in the Theatre. To top things off, there was also a myriad of gaming stands, barbeques, fighting rings, and just about anything else one could ever want.
although an unnecessary precatuion, a dozen trained bull rancors are kept in cages in the rafters of the hall, ready to be dropped on patrons that get a little too out of hand, alongside the services of a penguin with a banhammer

Already a large crowd of people and papparazzi had started to gather on either side of the red carpet outside of the Sithies Building for 2015, whilst another group was gathered just over the road opposite the red carpet and main entrance of the building where a 'small' stage had been set up that was able to accomodate a number of lesser known, smaller, acts that were currently providing some warm-up entertainment in anticipation of the start of the Sithies Weekend. Screens to either the side of the stage, as well as giant holo projectors on the front face of the Sithies Building and the smaller screens scattered throughout the inside of the Main Hall, were projecting views of the acts currently performing on the stage, whilst the Sithies Team went about finishing up the preperation for the Sithies. A few moments later, the act on the outside stage finished up it's set, before the lights and screens all went black, before they came alive a few moments laterThe lights came alive at the appropriate moments during the video, before the ushers opened the main doors of the Sithies Hall, ready for the arrival of the first guests, whilst giant search lights lit up the night sky, meanwhile Ahmun Van Buuren began playing a set on the main stage inside of the Sithies Hall, soon to be followed by a series of other artists

Zion casually strolled up along the road, before making his way up the red carpet and inside the Sithies Hall, taking note of the fact he was one of the first to arrive, before heading over to one of the lounge area set ups, where he kicked back on a couch and took off his hood, to await the arrival of the others as a glass of whiskey was soon dropped off by a waiter

*It wasn't long before Summer and Winter arrived in a hoverlimo, the pair wearing dresses that further accentuated their differences, as they made their way up the red carpet and into the Main Hall, the pair quickly spotting their father, before joining him on a nearby double seater* This seems like it could be a fun weekend!
It'll be nice to meet some people...

From a series of several puffs of smoke, appeared the ten members of The Hapan Heartthrobs, all dressed in what appeared to be very tight fitting suits, as they took a couple steps along the red carpet, before from out of no where, It's Raining Men started playing as the Heartthrobs tore of their jackets and tossed them into the crowd, as they started dancing down the red carpet towards the doors, doing a couple backflips here and there, before they ripped their pants off and tossed them out into the crowd, leaving them in only three quarter shorts as they gave a wave to the crowd. They then headed inside and over to one of the bar stalls that was set up and grabbed a drink each to cool off

*Darth Bacon and his apprentice Darth Eggs had already been at the hall, having been tapped to cater the event, which was truly a great honor! People could fill their bellies with good food and it would be great publicity for the restaurant! But Bacon was not content to be behind the scenes, no, so when the event had opened, he slipped out through a side exit, strolled out toward the main street, then approached the red carpet, beaming and waving to the crowds with both hands, posing for the paparazzi, bowing and gesturing about with exaggerated flourish.* Yes, yes, my many fans! Thank you for coming! Please enjoy the food, and if you do, come look us up at Bacon's Bistro, situated on— Er, well, I guess we haven't technically gotten back up and running yet after the last incident... but we'll let you know! Like my page on HoloSpace and you'll be kept up to date! *He bowed once more and entered the hall, putting his hands on his hips and nodding with a satisfied smile as he looked around the room.* 'Tis only a shame I was not nominated for anything... Then again, I suppose I'll technically be a winner if my writer wins Best Overall! If only he'd chosen to showcase some of my work though... *He grumbled a little, then slapped himself and grinned; happy occasion, happy occasion! No time to be a downer! So, proudly beaming once more, he marched further into the hall, eager to partake in the celebrations, fellowship with peers, and promote his business some more.*

Dropping out of the sky, Bahamut fell through an open skylight and landed safley on a seat at a food stand, before ordering one of the galaxy renown bacon sammich's that the caterer was known for, before heading over to sit down in the lounge area that Zion and his daughters were already occupying Good to see you all...

Fenrir casually rifted into the Sithies Hall, this being the second time he had attended one of these events, and thus was starting to get used to the fancy tricks people could pull for getting here. Although he was primarily here to present an award, he had also heard that he'd been nominated for an award again, which was always a refreshing change of pace. He grabbed a glass of vintage whiskey from a passing waiter before kicking back in the lounge with Zion and co, since he really didn't know anyone else here yet

*Calmcacil, party of... a lot.
Again.
This time, the party was a little bigger, so Aerandir had made plans in advance to secure a large party hoverlimo that would comfortably fit them all: Aerandir himself, in a nice forest green tuxedo; his wife Cassie, adorned in a beautiful lavender dress; in her arms baby Lucina, wearing a pink baby dress with a floral headband around her small mop of light brown hair; the twins Michelle and Annabelle, in similar dresses of different shades of light blue; the twins Morgan and Jake, Morgan in a pretty purple dress and Jake in a handsome black tuxedo; Kayla, in a pink dress similar to Lucina's, only much larger obviously; Ambar, who hadn't dressed up at all and was instead wearing casual clothing; Samantha, who'd followed the girls' example and worn a nice teal dress; Bruce Terry, Aerandir and Cassie's former master, who wore formal Jedi robes; Bix and Shells, the Master-Student sibling pair wearing a simple suit and dress respectively; and Tom Klanzo, wearing a simple gray suit but a nice one nonetheless.
The hoverlimo pulled up outside the Sithies Hall, where a few guests had already arrived, and Aerandir was the first out the door, holding it open as customary for the others to exit first. Ambar outright ignored the paparazzi as he tread the red carpet up to the door, though Samantha did offer a smile or two. Michelle and Annabelle offered polite waves and smiles. Morgan beamed and waved, while Jake smiled sheepishly with smaller waves to match, Kayla skipping along behind them and stopping to wave a time or two. Tom and Bruce nodded a few times as their only reaction. Shells waved and beamed and even called out to them, making exaggerated "thank you" comments, while Bix tried to ignore them. And her. Aerandir walked forward with an arm around Cassie, her holding baby Lucy between them, and they smiled and took just enough time to pose for brief pictures; people cared way too much about when "popular" people had kids.
Once they entered the hall proper, Aerandir looked around and nodded, satisfied. The Sithies event was always spectacular, and each year different. Variety was important, keeping the experience fresh and fun without feeling redundant. There was lots of entertainment. ... exemplified when he noticed the half-naked men at the bar. Quickly and subtly he ushered his family to a different portion of the hall, and from there, they dispersed a little to mingle.*

*Two eyes peeked out from behind a potted plant, peering at the guests. A moment later, they suddenly appeared in the gap between two curtains. They were constantly moving, never present long enough to be truly noticed, and if someone did notice, they may think they were going insane, or perhaps having too much to drink. In a way, that was the man's job, to induce a bit of paranoia; he was on the security team, after all. Yes, there were bull rancors on hand should they be needed, but he was the small-time force, the one always watching, ready to step in and immediately break up any trouble he caught a glimpse of. Should his efforts fail, then the bull rancors came in, but it was his job to make sure that was unnecessary...
Him, and his trusty gavel.*

A republic gunship arrives outside and drops off a Jedi and two Clone Commanders to attend the show. The walk through the front gate and into the main room."Claw, Rex I'm going to grab us some seats for the show you two stay out of trouble.""Yes Sir, Rex and I are headed over to the snack bar to see if there is anything good to eat around here."Jedi master Kote smiles and leaves to find suitable seating arrangements for the show. Clone Commanders Claw and Rex head over to the bar on the opposite side of the main hall."I see it over there lets get going."On the way over they admire the scenery around them and a sense of excitement flows over them. The arrive at the stand and sit down waiting to be attended to.

Post by Logann Renji Montrose on Feb 19, 2015 20:23:24 GMT -8
*Logann Renji Montrose, brother of Aedon Gavin Montrose, approached the Sithies main hall, a stony expression on his face.* *Normally this would be the occasion for great celebration and cheer, and he'd be wearing a big grin and enthusiastically greeting the paparazzi, boasting of the Veritas crew, her captain, and their exploits. Most of the crew, if not all of it, would have been here to celebrate. But it was just Logann. The crew had been scattered, targeted, torn apart. Logann didn't even know if his brother still survived, or indeed how many had. Perhaps he may yet learn.
But Aedon and the chief gunner Na'me He're both had received nominations, Aedon for Best Smuggler, Na'me for Best NPC.* Damn right they're the best, *He uttered more to himself, not caring if others heard as he marched straight past the paparazzi, not giving them a millisecond's attention as he stepped into the hall.* *It was large, it was grandiose, it was spectacular. And it would be so much more impressive and enjoyable had Logann not been alone. But someone had to represent the name of Montrose, someone had to represent the Crow's Nest, though he knew it had barely lost out on that coveted title of "Best Smuggler's Den."*
*He hissed softly and made for the bar, ignoring the various other entertainment booths spread out across the hall. He flipped a few credit chips and asked for scotch, then took the drink when it was served and sipped at it.* *Scotch. Not exactly one of his own favorites, but an easy favorite of his brother's. He'd come to appreciate it a little more since the separation; perhaps that was why Logann no longer had a reaction when it passed his lips. Being half-Zeltron, it would take some time, money, and several drinks before he could "loosen up," but perhaps it would be worth it, just for tonight...*

I've had this dream, or some variation of it, before, I think as I find myself in a large, festively decorated hall filled with the sounds of music and murmurs of conversations, with the faint sounds of vehicles or many sorts arriving outside to drop other attendees to the celebration I know from similar dreams awaits us. In dreams past I've often encountered others known to me, or what passes for them in dreams, and so I take a moment to look around at my fellow guests to see if this dream will also be one with faces familiar to me. Smiling as I spot, ahead of me, Aerandir and those with him, I clasp my hands behind my back as Tchun, my left lekku swishes behind my back so that it can curl its prehensile tip around the outside of my hip, and make my way through the crowds to see if I might join them.
Aerandir's party has scattered somewhat by the time I close the distance between us, and as I encounter Morgan first, it is she that I greet first, smiling as I bow and say, "Good evening Morgan. Your dress looks lovely, I tell her, absently wondering why it is that I always find myself dressed no differently in these dreams than I dress normally, and then tilt my head to the side as I note, as I often do when meeting Morgan, You seem to have, as usual, gotten a bit taller since I saw you last. Frowning as though saddened, I complete the old joke, And yet I am, once more, no taller since last we met. So, I ask Morgan, as I glance at the musicians playing on the main stage, are you excited to be here this evening? I understand that you are up for an award tonight. Congratulations."

*Ah, the Sithies, always a fun time of year. Morgan was especially a bit excited because she was up for two awards! Technically three, counting Best Overall for her writer, but she herself had been directly nominated for Best Female Character and Best Duo! So that was exciting. It was just too bad Serena didn't seem to be around anymore...
She took in the hall, thinking this one might have been the best yet. Perhaps. It was certainly impressive and expansive, with many different attractions. The bull rancors though... she hoped those didn't need to be used. She knew of them from Felucia's own wildlife, though had never encountered one and didn't really feel like it... at least not until she was incredibly comfortable around regular rancors. That was still one of her goals...
Suddenly she found herself being greeted by Master Roma, who complimented her on her dress and, once more, made note of Morgan's increase of height while she was still the same height. Morgan giggled and returned her bow, then nodded when asked if she was excited to be here. Master Roma was aware that she was up for a couple of awards and congratulated her, causing her to giggle and curtsy.* Thanks! Yeah, for Best Female and Best Duo! But the other half of my duo isn't here... *She shrugged, then smiled.* Daddy's up for Best Male! And so is Jake... That'll be funny if Jake wins. But also cool! *She giggled, then grinned up at Master Roma.* And you're up for some too! Congratulations! And, well, not good luck, but whatever means the same thing, um, may the best person win! *Yeah, that would do it. Maybe she should stop abiding by the "no such thing as luck" notion so strictly and just use it as a casual term. Or something.*

All of a sudden, an tuxedo wearing Vordaan suddenly found himself stepping out of a weird portal at the foot of the red carpet leading to the Sithies Hall, which was quite unlike anything he'd seen before as he slowly walked forward, quite befuddled by why soo many people were clamoring to take his picture, however, a realization started to dawn on him as the magic of the Sithies set in and it all became clear. He suddenly took on a more confident stride as he made his way inside, giving a brief wave or two to the journalists, before making his way inside the building. He paused a moment once inside to admire the set up that they had, and what a set up it was, whilst looking around to see if he recognized anyone, but to no avail, just yet anyway. Since there was still time for the others to arrive, he made his way over to a game stand and started playing some old arcade games to pass the time

Apparently this thing called the Sithies was recurrent and whatever.
Atlantis knew that he might be dreaming for he could have sworn that he was back at his Academy to begin with, Serrin and Morgan had come back with food, and he along with Michelle and Aerandir were talking about whatever random blurbs...
Was that really random? Atlantis couldn't quite recall but for now, he was here and not there. Mayhaps he was flow walking or something, but what really surprised him, the fact that he was still alone at least from his elitist group apparently.
Oh no wait, Serrin is here! With Morgan. There is also Aerandir and his sister Michelle, and uh.... Others!
"Hello, everyone!" Atlantis laughed, because really he found the whole thing to be amusing for him, to be here once again, still though he had no idea where the others were.
He was from time to time looking over his shoulder and nothing just yet. Right now he was just wearing, button down shirt with a black tie and pants. Why was he wearing that again? Oh right no idea, it felt like to him he was more emulating his RPer, that blasted Jerkthro, than being himself truly.
WHY SO SINCERIOUS?! Atlantis heard that thought rang through his mind and he blinked a few times before clearing his throat at that...

Pausing after entering the main hall of the Sithies wearing a tuxedo, Lyov surveys the other attendees that have arrived to see if any of the others from Umgul have arrived. Helaine, dressed in a dark purple formal gown, spots Atlantis before Lyov and taps his arm before nodding in the Jedi's direction to point him out to Lyov. Walking up behind the Jedi as he strangely laughs for no apparent reason after greeting everyone, Lyov greets him, "Atlantis, a pleasure to see you," finding it true since here and now there is no need for the animosity that exists between them in the story they are both a part of elsewhere.
Helaine, setting aside her usual childish and somewhat ditzy social personae since it is not needed for the evening, smiles as she says to Atlantis, "So nice to see you. I take it the others haven't arrived yet? Should we find a table for us all before they arrive?"

"Yo, ze Lion! and the ever so lovely Mademoiselle Helaine Orlov, waddup?" Atlantis greeted them with a smirk, before thinking about the whole shazam really, should they find a table? Should they not find a table, a table would be good indeed.
Tapping his lips thoughtfully with a conflicted expression. "Well see, I would be all for finding a table, I am sure that if tables are lacking we can spring one up because we are baus like that, but the others have not arrived yet, maybe they are having a wardrobe malfunction? I dunno, I don't want to assume." Atlantis made a face at that, because not only it wouldn't bode very well for him, he was pretty sure someone, or several people had eyes everywhere and were reading this currently. "Erm, maybe I will wait for a little while longer, if there is one thing I know about the one RPing my character's girlfriend, she cannot miss the call of the sound currently playing, especially when that set was done in her European hometown..."
Speaking too much, speaking too much... Are you high or summit?

Smiling at the Jedi's exuberance and markedly changed manner of expressing himself from that they are more familiar with from the story they are all in elsewhere, Lyov and Helaine share a chuckle together before Lyov nods, agreeing with Atlantis, "It is always wise to keep the wants and needs of such a one at the very forefront of your mind," a fact that Lyov knows is especially true in Atlantis' case.
"Oh, at all times," Helaine adds with an amused smile, and then halts a passing serving droid to take a glass of champagne for herself after Lyov waves a hand to decline her offer to hand him one.

The Sithies!
How we all love the Sithies, or at least the people currently present here do love it, because it's that one time where everyone can mingle and just have fun, also forget that story briefly and...
Oh yeah just have fun.
Oh haii, red carpet, I wonder if I can do the worm thing right there, will try later, I don't want my clothes to be dirty up.
Andros looked up and noticed a few people he recognized, actually he recognized all of them due to the fact that either that couple was a bane of his existence, or Andros wasn't quite aware of that fact, but the Roleplayer is, or that dude over there was the one that was causing...
"MICHAEL!!! THE ONE WHO CAUSES EARTH SHATTERING Os!!!" So maybe the RPer took control right then and there, and actually good, because the RPer keeps thinking that the character is a glaring idiot.
"Oi, Jerkthro, wait, which one is you right now, the jerk or the model face?" Andros asked peering into Atlantis' face closely before shrugging and looking at both Helaine and Lyov with a smile, even if Andros isn't supposed to smile, but this is all a bad dream for him, don't care, the roleplayer is at the forefront right now. "Lyov and Helaine, my favorite baddies from the sandbox called Umgul, apparently that sandbox is comprised of elitist jerks, you only have him to blame" Punching Atlantis' shoulder and laughing at what he had just said, Andros just shook his head. "Where at the other chicas, oooh there are some of the chicas!" Waving at the ladies there, just there, Andros pursed his lips thoughtfully and summoned a strong drink in his hand.
