*Tom entered the theater, only to find himself suddenly on-stage in a completely nonsensical and out-of-character situation. When he left the stage, his expression was completely bemused. He wasn't even sure how that happened or what had come over him; it was quite the opposite of how he'd ever act. Regardless it was over now, and he fancied a drink; Tom didn't usually drink often, but he did occasionally enjoy a glass of fine wine, so that was exactly what he acquired for himself, passing by Jake and congratulating the young boy on his victory, cracking a joke about his "being more male than his father" and winking before heading back into the crowds in more attempts to mingle.*

"Uh, Aer, your son is manlier than us?" Ha, you got that right! *Ambar smirked as he appeared behind Aerandir, lightly smacking the top of his head with a rolled up piece of paper then gesturing over to where Jake had his arm around Lana.*Look at him over there, making moves on the ladies already. If that doesn't scream manliness, I don't know what does.

Reaching the table, Raan spotted the look he received from his daughter — a look that told him to remember his manners. Making note to perhaps have word with his daughter when they got home, he smiled at everyone. With a slight nod, he said, "Greetings, I'm Raan Jade and this," Gesturing at the little gold-with-red-highlights haired girl that seemed to feel at home in Mace's lap, "Is my daughter, Lyra." This was said for those who might not know him, of course. Lyra waved at everyone and said, "Pleased to meet you all." Spotting one of her "besties", Lucy, she smiled at the Lieutenant before saluting her. With that out of the way, Raan looked in Serrin Roma's direction, his gaze softening even before he realized it, said, "C-congratulations, Miss Roma." He chose to leave it at that, for to say more, he feared, would trigger her memory of who he was as a child. Needless to say, he had another thing coming if he thought she hadn't recognized him by now. Scanning the group for Elikapeka, Raan's focus was diverted when his old friend made it painfully obvious that Ljiljana Jankovic was not the only one who knew about the cursed creator's deeds. " . . .AND YES BRAAN WE ALL KNOW! Now join the elitist derp club! Nice job you, nice job!" Having sat down only after Serrin had, he placed a hand on Atlantis' shoulder, made a face before whispering, "Please don't put the Brat in Bratlantis. That was just . . . No." He shook his head, "Now about the Elitist Derp club, care to tell me more?" Raan hoped that the cursed creator knew that this was going to haunt not only him, but poor Raan was well for a long time to come. He was about to threaten Atlantis when he heard Crystal say, "... So, lemme get this straight, you were looking at the wrong year forum?" Crystal asked nonchalantly as she tried to control her laughter. "Well of course, those buttons and box wouldn't show because it's locked..." Praying to the makers to make him vanish now, Raan chuckled, "Aye, Miss Kayne. Some of us, it seems, are trapped in the past." He shrugged before grinning, "What are you going to do, right?"

*After returning from the stage from his speech and smiling at and thanking those who congratulated him, Jake rejoined Lana's side, trophy in his hands, still looking a little sheepish after that. He was quite proud of himself for winning, to be sure, but he could have done much better on the speech. He should've prepared one... Well no, he shouldn't have, that would have been a little cocky and he didn't expect he'd have won anyway. But regardless, he was happy.
He looked at Lana for a moment; he'd seen events in the past, not just the Sithies, where an award winner would go back to their significant other and kiss them... Wait, why was he thinking about that right now?! He and Lana weren't really anything other than friends! But he did like her... He extended an arm toward her, daring to be brave...
... then chickened out and only put it around her in a hug, grinning nervously. Chances are if he'd have gone through with it he'd have probably screwed it up anyway, and if not, what would Lana have even thought of that? Yeah, stick with a hug... it was okay... "You're only nine anyway, ya little player," his author reminded him.* Pausing at the doorway of the Theatre for a moment, so as not to unnecessarily interrupt Mr. Or'dinii's presentation of the next award, I watched in surprise as a tie for the Best Male award was announced. That was different, I couldn't remember any ties last year. Well... Actually I couldn't remember last year at all, now that I thought about it. I just knew, instinctively, that it had happened, even though it had been stricken from my consciousness at some point in the intervening year. Setting my drink down for a moment , I joined the crowd in cheering both winners as they made their way to the stage to collect their trophies. Then, seeing that the presentation was over, I entered the Theater just as Jake exited the stage with his trophy, and almost bumped into him as he rejoined his friends and family. The Calmcacil family was on my (rather long) mental list of people whom I intended to greet tonight, and so I decided I might as well get started now. Stepping over to the young award winner, I waited until he had finished hugging his friend, then exclaimed with a smile. "Congratulations, Jake!"

*Best Female went to Serrin... well, he knew Morgan wouldn't be disappointed by that. As her father, of course he was a little disappointed, but hey, fatherly pride was strong, however he was quite fine with Serrin's victory as well, as evidenced by his enthusiastic applause.
Speaking of fatherly pride, there it was, the winner for Best Male. Well, two winners. He'd only heard of Zion, but the other had, after all, been Jake. Aerandir was pleased, but also a bit shocked; how in the world was he supposed to take the fact that his young, small son had beaten him for that sort of award? Well, proud, he should be. He smiled and clapped, laughing at his little speech. He caught him on the way back to Lana to congratulate him, then jokingly hung his head when Atlantis made note of the fact that his young son was manlier than the rest of them.* Well, I suppose we have work to do— Oi! *He looked up at Ambar with mock anger, then glanced over where he indicated to see Jake with an arm around Lana. He chuckled at Ambar's comment and shook his head.* I'm gonna have to keep an eye on that one...

"Mikey #2 do not make me regret the whole complimenting mini-Mikey, okay?" Atlantis told Ambar jadedly before laughing as that really was a good win for Jake truth be told and the lil' guy did deserve it. Atlantis couldn't vote for that category but he did read it quickly, and that popped out.
"Asstralian, shush just go and try to find ways on how to keep pinning a certain someone!"
Looking over to Braan soon enough, Atlantis shook his head and pointed to his signature field. "You see the image there, you should put it on your signature too, that way we can say that we all pulled an AWESOME ONE, it was his idea to begin with?"
Looking up towards the stage when the next award announcement was ongoing there, Atlantis whistled loudly and looked at the Kiffar and pushed him and the author telepathically since she has gone home already before laughing.
"Woohoo Kes! Yo, Lucenant, I bet you are proud that your Salty Goodness won."

Smacking Forcias upside the head for his shorter dress comment as he goes off to get her a Whyren's Reserve as requested, Lucy points a finger towards Lily and warns her playfully, "No comments from you, ma'am. Arching an eyebrow skeptically when informed by Lily that there has been some requests that the two of them hang out, Lucy asks with her usual tact and grace, What the frak for? Laughing and holding her hands up, Lucy says, Kidding, kidding. You seem cool. Hitting Elika in the arm, she says, Unlike the geek here."
Rubbing her arm and looking at Lily with an I told you so look since she had warned Lily that her lieutenant was not exactly fond of Elika, Elika tells Lucy, "Gee, thanks. Looking over at Delaana with a pout, Elika asks, You don't think I'm a geek do you, my Ceesi? Resting her chin on Delaana's shoulder, Elika shrugs and says jokingly, I guess they are kind of cute, even if I have to wonder what it is Forcias sees in her."
Hitting Elika in the arm again, Lucy grins and says, "Gee, thanks, in her nasal imitation of Elika's voice. Clapping with everyone for Master Roma, and then Jake and Zion when they are each announced as the winners of the awards they had been nominated for, Lucy leans over to kiss Forcias on the cheek when he is announced as the winner for best NPC. Go and make your speech, dope, Lucy tells him, and then offers him her best advice, Don't try and use too many big words. Maybe you'd better just keep it short and to the point. Smiling happily when Lyra and her father join them, Lucy grins as she returns the salute Lyra gives her and then pats the chair Forcias should have left and says, Get over here and tell me why your evil father has been keeping you from us all for so long. I'll be proud if he manages to make it off the stage without embarrassing himself," Lucy tells Atlantis jokingly with an amused grin when he asks if she's proud of Forcias.
Smiling happily when Raan unexpectedly joins them with his daughter, Elika remembers after a moment that she should be mad at him for having been away for so long and so scowls an Andros-worthy scowl for a moment before giving up on being mad since it is not much fun. "It's nice to see you, Senator Jade, Elika tells him with a warm smile, adding, even if it is only in a dream. I don't suppose this means we might be seeing you in that other reality as well any time soon, does it?"

He looked up at her gratefully and also a bit confusedly, tilting his head to the side a little.* Thanks! Um... sorry, but who are you? *He made sure to make that sound as polite as possible, but really he did not recognize her at all. She was kinda pretty though... Lana's here! Ali smiled widely when Elika waved and invited them over. Nodding to the architect, she held up her glass letting Elika know that they'd be over shortly. Meanwhile Zion had walked up to the trio and greeted them. All three turned to face him with smiles on their faces as Ice spoke first
"Oh Zion, you know we like to be fashionably late. Besides, with all the hotness already gathered in this room, it's a wonder there's not a fire code being broken."
She chuckled as she gave him a hug, careful to not spill her drink. Jena grinned when Ice stepped away from him and moved to give him a hug of her own.
"Zion, it's good to see you. I'm glad you could make it tonight. We should make it a point to party like it's 1999 while we're here." 'Party like it's 1999? Where did that come from? Bah, never mind. We'll just blame it on The Writer.' She thought to herself as she stepped away from him and gave him a mock salute with her glass.
Ali was the last, but certainly not the least, to give Zion a big hug along with a playful smacking kiss on the cheek before stepping back with an amused look in her eyes. "Zion, glad you could make it. Shall we all go join everyone else."
After Zion said his goodbyes (ok he really didn't, but for the sake of this post let's just pretend he did, mmmk?) Ali looked at Ice and Jena with a smirk.
"Come on you two, I want to introduce you to Ares' family." She said as she led them to the Umgul table, pausing only long enough to buy the whole table a round of whatever they were drinking which would be brought to the tale by one of the service droids.
Upon arriving at the table, Ali gently laid a hand on Elika's shoulder, so as not to startle the woman. "Elika! It's great to see everyone here!"
Due to the fact that her writer couldn't remember shtuff sometimes, Ali hoped they would forgive her if she didn't properly remember everyone's name (and everyone she actually met ~IC~ without looking back at the posts), but to be fair, she didn't know some of the newcomers to Umgul.
"If I may, I would like to introduce my mother, Jena Shaewe, and my cousin, Ice Matango. Mom, Ice, this is Ares' family." She smiled as she spoke all of their names to Ice and Jena.
Giving a polite bow and straightening again, Jena spoke warmly. "It's good to finally meet all of you. Hopefully we can meet IC one day soon."
Ice followed suit and bowed politely then straightened as she greeted them. "I'm happy to meet you all. We've heard a lot about you all from Ali's last visit there....and the fact that our writer stal....erm....reads the Umgul boards."
She amended the last part because Jena had subtly nudged her in the ribs. Raising a questioning eyebrow at her aunt, she leaned a little closer to Jena with a low tone to her voice. "What? It's not like they don't already know that she stalks their boards."
"Good point....but it's not polite to say it out loud, chérie." Jena retorted in the same low tone Ice had used. Ali just shook her head, a small chuckle escaping her lips as she shrugged apologetically at the Umgul crew.

Atlantis shook his head and pointed to his signature field. "You see the image there, you should put it on your signature too, that way we can say that we all pulled an AWESOME ONE, it was his idea to begin with?"Raan was shaking his head when Atlantis started to explain, he had understood what Atlantis meant the first time around but he did not know the story behind it. Deciding that he would research on this later, he said, "Fine. It would be my honor to join the Elitist Derps." And he meant it. It was odd for him to be having this conversation with Atlantis but then again, if the higher powers decided to bless him with this opportunity then why not? A Looking up towards the stage when the next award announcement was ongoing there, Atlantis whistled loudly and looked at the Kiffar and pushed him and the author telepathically since she has gone home already before laughing. "Woohoo Kes! Yo, Lucenant, I bet you are proud that your Salty Goodness won."Nodding in agreement to MOST of what Atlantis said, Raan clapped (he also had an eyebrow raised at Atlantis referring to Lucy as the Lucenant) and looked in Lucy's direction when he witness the interaction going on between Lucy and Forcias and, to his delight, finally found Elikapeka. Studying the interactions that were taking place, his jaw dropped when. . . Smiling happily when Lyra and her father join them, Lucy grins as she returns the salute Lyra gives her and then pats the chair Forcias should have left and says, Get over here and tell me why your evil father has been keeping you from us all for so long. Lyra, whispering to her Aunt Macey that she would be right back, hopped off her lap and happily obliged — but not before walking past her Father and pushing his jaw back in place — giving Lucy one big hug before taking over Forcias' seat for the time being. "I would ask Papa that question, but, Bliss says it has to do with Papa having attachment issues—""She wha—""He can't let me out of his sights, and so," She brought her hands to her face, feigning tears as she went on, "So I'm stuck with him and hidden from the world."Raan, for all his claims of being such an amazing Father, would never have guessed that his daughter had talent when it came to acting. Well, he would have said that as a Jade she excelled at everything she did, but that would have been Fatherly bias. Right now though, he did not know whether to be proud or shocked. "Attachment issues?!"But his gaze returned to Elikapeka, and seeing her brought him the utmost joy. He couldn't even begin to describe it as she was . . . Smiling happily when Raan unexpectedly joins them with his daughter, Elika remembers after a moment that she should be mad at him for having been away for so long and so scowls an Andros-worthy scowl for a moment For the second time tonight, Raan's jaw dropped. While it was true that Elikapeka looked rather adorable even with a scowl on her face, he was genuinely shocked to see such an adorable face look so scary. Perhaps even a tad terrified. Raising his hands as if to surrender, he said, "I can explain . . ." . . .before giving up on being mad since it is not much fun. "It's nice to see you, Senator Jade, Elika tells him with a warm smile, adding, even if it is only in a dream. I don't suppose this means we might be seeing you in that other reality as well any time soon, does it?" All pretense aside, Raan was moved and saddened at the same time. Smiling at Elika, he tilted his head to the side, making sure to hide any sadness as best as he could (Elika could read Raan rather clearly, so he always had to try hard where she was involved), he said, "When did I become 'Senator Jade' to you, Peka?" But as soon as he uttered her name, he remembered why he had distanced himself from her, if only slightly. Her memories . . . And then, "It is so good to see you as well." He paused for a moment, thinking on how to answer her question — but not too long, lest Elika's prowess in the minutiae of observation came into play again. "Can you say with absolute certainty. . ." His green eyes bore into hers, as they once did during a similar event before this one. "That this is . . . a dream?"Realizing that he was doing the thing that had a tendency of alerting Elika into wondering whether he was serious or not, he quickly added, "Because, you know, if it really is then I'm sure that if you believe in your dreams hard enough then they shall come to be. So, umm," He stopped tilting his head, "Please believe in this one."Raan, not as gifted as Elika where observation was concerned, was still able to see that Elika had changed since he had last seen her — and he was a little curious about the lady she had referred to as 'Ceesi'. He was about to say more when a group of women joined them and started talking to Elika in particular. Lifting a finger as if to tell Elika that he would return in about a minute, Raan excused himself from the table and started heading for the nearest balcony . . .

Helaine laughs when, right after Crystal explains that Atlantis, just like his author, actually enjoys the playful abuse continually heaped upon him, Madieke comes along and hits up. "Well, it looks like he has no shortage of abuse to enjoy with you all around. Smiling when Delaana says that she should try and urge her author to do a quick search for dresses rather than settling for simply writing that she is wearing a dress, Helaine laughs and jokes, It couldn't hurt to try. It's really too bad I can't use my pheromones to influence him."
Lyov nods after Crystal explains that the bad guys she had spoken of earlier owe their existence to Atlantis and Mace, smiling as he says, "Devious minds indeed it seems. Impressive. I will look forward to meeting them both when they arrive. You're most welcome, Ljiljana," Lyov tells Ljiljana when she thanks him and asks that he calls her by her first name.
Both Lyov and Helaine wave to Mace and Forcias when they arrive, and then to Lieutenant Lynn when she too joins them. Laughing at the interactions between Lucine and Forcias, and between her and Elikapeka, Helaine says, "Oh I like her. Congratulations Master Roma, Helaine tells the Twi'lek after she is presented with a Sithie, congratulating Jake and Zion not long afterwards when they win a Sithie. Clapping for Forcias when he wins his own Sithie, Helaine laughs at Lucine's amusing show of support for the Kiffar as he goes to make his acceptance speech. You two are quite cute yourselves," Helaine tells Delaana and Elika with a smile when Delaana calls Lucine and Forcias cute.
"It is a pleasure to meet you all, Lyov tells Ali and those she has introduced along with herself when they come to join them. After Raan has joined them and has spoken to a few of them, yet before he turns to go and find a balcony, Lyov smiles and nods a greeting to him, Senator. It is good that you can join us, if only for a while. Looking towards Elika after Raan has left, Lyov asks, Peka? I wasn't aware that you and the senator were so close as to have nicknames for one another. How long have you known Senator Jade?"

Sol Canto walked into the theatre after waiting for an interval where no interruption would be caused on his account. Despite drinking two Corellian Whiskeys in the Main Hall, he was still apprehensive. No one knew him and he knew no one. When making contacts on the black market, there was always some new blaster or an illegal modification to stir up a conversation. Any topic he thought of was readily dismissed as mundane or inappropriate for an awards ceremony.

I froze, stunned, and turned toward the stage as if in slow motion. I had been nominated in the past, so maybe I shouldn't have been surprised, but there were only three names announced, and the other two were well known Captains, while I was a well-known "public relations director" who had only recently been forced against her will to take over as a Captain. "Oh.." And then Fenrir announced me as the winner, and suddenly every eye in the Hall was staring at me. Every. Last. Eye.Ignoring the fanfare for a moment, I acknowledged Jake, grinning at his embarrassment. "Thank you. It's nice to meet you." I paused, aware that everyone was still staring at me expectantly. Ignoring them wasn't going to solve anything. "Looks like I'm expected to collect some hardware. Be right back! I want to meet the rest of your family." And with that, I made my way toward the Stage, still not quite believing that this was happening. I had actually won? If I could have reached through the fourth wall and congratulated/hugged my Writer, I would have.

Emma finally managed to sneak in from the Main Hall, where she was meant to be working most of the weekend, but at the moment, she could get away with ducking some work whilst the awards were being presented. It was then that she noticed that Artemis had finally arrived, and looking quite beautiful in that dress as well, though she didn't really recall anything that Artemis had worn that she didn't look good in. Sidling up to Artemis, she grinned a littleWell if this isn't a sight to behold, you in a dress. You look good! Casting Emma an amused side glance, Artemis took a healthy drink from her glass of whiskey before she answered. "Thanks. Though I'd rather be dressed in my regular clothes. Dresses and I have this understanding - I don't like them so they stay the hell out of my wardrobe. And I feel naked without my crossbows......" She said with a sigh as she looked down at her dress.Shaking her head, she shrugged off that thought before meeting Emma's gaze with a teasing grin. "So what are you drinking? Also, have you seen our favorite way-too-serious partner in bounty hunting here?" She inquired while scanning the crowd, looking for any sign of Aros.

After presenting the award for Best Male Character, Plu returned to his seat to continue his conversation with his adopted daughter, @neassawhelan.When Cathaoir Ordo was announced as Best Mandalorian, however, the old man jumped from his seat as fast as his aging body would allow, and applauded the worthy winner. He watched to see if Cath would appear from some unseen place to claim his prize, as he had not seen ner'vod anywhere in the hall. "It's good to know that our people are still represented here at the Sithies with our own award, even if our population and influence in the known galaxy have waned." He whispered the Neassa.Someday, perhaps, the fruits of his labors in the Unknown Regions would lead to a few awards for the next generation of Mando'ade. Neassa had been one of the first children he had trained, but she was not the last, and Kaeliin was with some of them now.

"Thank you, I tell Atlantis and then the others that congratulate me, and then arch the thin ridge of muscle over my left eye inquisitively as I ask Atlantis, Elitist club? You will, I trust, eventually explain that? Smiling and inclining my head in a respectful bow that also serves as a greeting when Raan arrives with his daughter and congratulates me, I tell him, Thank you Raan," smiling with a hint of mischievousness as I briefly contemplate calling him by a name that will make it clear to him that he has no need to worry that he might say or do anything to make me recall that we have met, he and I, when we were both much younger. Before there is an opportunity to speak more with him, Raan moves on to speak with others and then leaves the group entirely after what seems to me a more pointed exchange with Elikapeka than his words, on the surface, suggest.
Smiling warmly when Ael joins us with her friends, I nod to thank her for her compliment and then say, "And you look as radiant as ever Ael, before leaning towards her to confide sincerely, I really believe that it is you who should have won rather than me, my friend. The night is young, however, I say with a smile, and I believe you are still up for a few awards yet to be announced. I hope to be congratulating you at least once this evening."
Waving a greeting to Alisha and those with her when they join us, I say, "It is a pleasure to meet you all, and I would also like it if we could meet IC sometime. Perhaps, I suggest with a smile, the impending nuptials might afford us all such an opportunity?"

The old Mandalorian's face cracked into a wide grin as his adopted daughter took a seat. "Oya, su cuy'gar, ner'ad'ika!" * The warrior exclaimed in surprise as he reached across the table and laid a hand on her wrist, giving it an affectionate squeeze. "Cuyi oyayc bal kandosii." ** Plu was thrilled to see her, as it had been months since their last meeting, and he had not been sure if he would be allowed to acknowledge her presence until their backstory was finished. But it seemed that the puppet-masters inside their heads thought there was no harm to be done, so long as the topic was not mined too deeply. "I am presenting the award for Best Male Character later this evening." His eyes twinkled. "Spoiler, you didn't win." Plu's author would like to point out that he was, of course, sworn to secrecy as to the actual winner, but Neassa was a girl and thus ineligible, and thus Plu was not giving anything away that was not already obvious ... yeah I don't know why I'm adding this ...."How have you been? Enjoying your adventure with the Draykon crew, I hope?" He took another long sip from the mug on tihaar. Squeezing Plu's wrist when her reaches for hers, Neassa smiles unseen beneath her buy'ce when he says that he is alive and awesome, laughing as she says, It's good that you've not changed at all then in those respects, buir. Snapping her fingers as though chagrined to learn that she will not be receiving the award for Best Male Character, Neassa jokes, And here I had such high hopes that they'd ignore the whole gender issue this year and award it to me anyway. Nodding when he asks about whether she is enjoying her time with the Draykon crew, Neassa says, Absolutely. They're an interesting bunch, and strong and brave to boot. Before she has a chance to ask her adoptive father how he has been, he needs to go and present an award, and so Neassa waits at the table for him to return, cheering enthusiastically for all the winners that are announced before Plu returns, and maybe even just a little more enthusiastically for Cathaoir when he is announced as the Best Mandalorian. Yes, yes it is, Neassa agrees when her adoptive father says that it is good to see that the Mandalorian people are still represented at the Sithies with an award of their own, her tone suggesting that she shares his views on how their people's influence is not what it once was. So, buir, Neassa says, lifting a gloved hand to gesture towards Plu, you must tell me all about what you've been up to, are up to, and are planning to get up to.

Emma had already guessed that Artemis' answer would be similar to the one that she got, almost giggling at the thought of if Artemis really had shown up nekkid in a literal sense, as opposed to her far less entertaining figurative sense. Giving a quick glance around the room as Artemis asked if she had seen Aros, before meeting the other woman's gaze againI'm not really allowed to drink... I'm on the clock, can't you tell? I don't seriously strike you as the type to wear something this revealing normally, do I? As for Strong-and-Silent, haven't seen him yet, but I heard he's been having some technical difficulties getting here, so there's that...
