Crossing the massive complex with one thing in mind Gid was at the bay in no time flat. Entering her eyes fell on th beast that stood waiting. But the press of a button and the back dropped open. Walking straight in she took her seat and with the flip of a few switches the Hand Maid Tail was purring like a kitten. Her sisters rolling onboard just as the hanger door closed hung on for dear life as the ship took off

The three Twi'lek, after ditching the beast at the facilities spaceort, went and passed out in the luxury of their pad in 500 Republica. With the exception of Gid. Who desperately wanted the one question that had haunted her since childhood, namely: why were her sisters and herself free of the draconian caste structure that color cursed, or blessed her people with depending on your opinion, all Twi'leck with. After all, her own family was red, blush and green. Different colors? Why? For that matter how? It was one of the many confusing mysteries that was part of their being

Gid throwing water on her face rubbed the sleep from weary eyes. Another day; another nightmare. Such was life. The bizarre genetic make-up of what she was - and two others in the apartment - still troubled the woman, as it had been her entire life. Indeed, she had been subjected to some of the cruelest prejudice imaginable in her short time in this universe. In all corners of this universe. Stopping she looked in the mirror. After a long moment tossing the cloth to the floor she then spun around to the door and left. The smell of brewing coffee filling the air she was drawn to the intoxicating fragrance. Sitting in front of a cup the woman breathing in deep muttered -Gid- "Circoo aj passi ya'kii zela'jumu kijaleei...." She believed that wise epigram. Wholeheartedly. She was drawn away from her deliberation by a grunt to her right. Looking to see what it was a smile swept her face In a corner Alem pumped out pushups. With ease. Eyes thinning she thought ~Maybe I need to get Shakk on my back again while doing this shit~ The thought was fleeting but the idea stuck. Pushing up hard on the last two she came to her feet -Alem - "Coffee. Wicked." And at that she The woman joined her sister

The two Twi'leck say at the table talking. The red woman said bluntly -Gid- "Do you have any clue concerning just how... weird we are?" To which her sister answered sharply -Alem- "What part?" Both giggled. It was an off the cuff question yet Alem just about hit the nail on the head. All things taken into consideration they were different. At that moment Shakk came walking by and Gid yelled out -Gid- "Tu'za Shakk." Then taking in right after -Gid- "Shakk do you feel at home in water?" The blue girl swung her head to the question but offered no answer, walking away into the washroom and shutting the door. Gid smiling wryly muttered -Gid- "Well that answers that question...." To which Alem , snapping to attention asked -Alem- "Qa?" Not stopping the Lethan woman asked -Gid- "Alem do you feel a strange affinity for spirituality?" The green Twi'leck did not look offended just confused by the question -Alem- "Koa...." To that Gid spread her hands -Gid- " "Exactly. "

The blue Twi'leck, having finally reconciled with the cold fact that she could not stay in the shower, closed her eyes and spoke out loud -Shakk- "Kunta eti...." Stepping from the stall then drying herself , she stepped into a pair of slippers and slipping on a bath robe, walked out of the room. Straight into one sister screaming -Alem- "Shakk! God wants to sell you to a bunch of drunk Mando! " To which Gid screamed -Gid- "Lies!!! I said a gang of angry Tuskens!" But Shakk was not around to hear much of the rest, strolling into her room and slamming the door

500 Republica. The colossal arrangement rivaled the capitals of some lesser planets. After docking the their vessel at a spaceport, the two Togruta hit the town. Dancing through the city like two monkeys on LSD one sister asked -Aranrhod- "What's first?" Her sibling's face distorted with confusion -Rhiannon- "Is that a question? Get me to a gun store. And off they went singing as the skipped along

Scooted back to 500 Republica in style, the Togruta sisters quietly entered the apartment that they'd secured in their travels settling in they first investigated their new digs. He had taste. That they could not deny. But the body at times listens not to wants and desires. And in that vein the one sister with a yawn said -Aranrhod- "Mi baijhet...." And with that she was cold as a cucumber within minutes. Rhiannon did not right tiredness either and within twenty minutes she was snoring so loud that the building shock. Ok. Slight exaggeration there but you get it. Rigbt. Important points. Out cold behind a locked door

BEEP!BEEP!BEEP!BEEP!BEEP!BEEP! BEEP!aAnd again And.... Ok. You get it; irritating does not quite apply. So....WAPPPPP!!! Aranrhod's right foot came crashing down violently on now deceased alarm clock. Luckily the bloody thing came with the apartment. Eyes now open the girl looked to the ceiling. Using her left she promptly shoved Rhiannon off the couch. The sickening thud was strangely pleasing. To Aranrhod that is. Her sister was another story -Rhiannon- "Ahhh! WTF!?! Comrro so...." Reaching up and snatching her pistol -Rhiannon- "Aranrhod? Yeh yut?" how sitting and listening to the show her sister was putting on while waking, the other girl answered -Aranrhod- "Nah k'ya ke be." Laying down her weapon and sitting the other Togruta girl inquired -Rhiannon- "Ko uba du s'mahr?" With a thin smile her sibling spoke fast -Aranrhod- "Ne'ne hata & se ko e' winslet och det kuhk." Already on her feet and opening a dim light Aranrhod declared -Rhiannon- "On maithee." And like a pair of spoiled brats, juiced on coffee so strong that you could stand a spoon up in it, both girls commenced with rooting through the fruits of their shopping spree. The damage was breathtaking

And our beloved Togruta - Dubh... well maybe beloved is a bit strong of a word.... Let's say tolerable - shall we?. Good enough. Now... where was I? Right! So, the two young women, now strung out from copius amounts of caffeine, are at this very moment busy enjoying the fruits of their shopping spree. And off we go. Rhiannon, now on her knees, gently caressing a shiny piece as it it were a baby. nodded to her sister -Rhiannon- "Check this out! Wanted one for years." Her sister , eyes wide inquired -Aranrhod- "Uue.... What is it?" And the other Tougruta said -Rhiannon- "X-8 Night Sniper; makes killing sensible at all You're of the day." Nodding but not to be outdone, her twin, held up another chunk -Aranrhod- "CA-87, a Jawa staple and among the finest for killing up close." Rhiannon, musing over the acquisition commented -Rhiannon- " Impressive.... But check this sucker out!" The girl motioned to a multiple section number with an impressive mount sitting at its' side. Mouth dropping open the Aranrhod muttered "Whoaaa! Wicked! Is that a chain gun!?!" And smiling wide her sis replied, hugging the most prized weapon of the lot -Rhiannon- "You better believe it! Z-6 chaingun, a must for any mercenary." Humming contently she began assembling the powerful cannon And there the two sat playing with their newest toys, a few bags of accessories still on the floor untouched. One of the two muttered - Aranrhod- "We so need one of those little speeders...."

An airspeed pulled up in front of 500 Republica. A man jumped from the vessel and hastily went inside. The speeder sat idling. The vessel was one of the XJ-6 prefab models that Ris had invested some of his hard earned credits into this relic of the Galactic Civil War and assembled himself The man loved work. And by him there was nothing better than something you put together yourself. It was an achievement in his mind The man had a deal to talk about with and old friend about. They'd have a sit down, play a game or two of chance and he'd let the man in on a hot little scam that he had going. Tell he man wanted in good. And if a no? Ris Kee laughed to himself. Wouldn't be his loss if the other man balked out. Don't sweat worrying about what other people decide, so he thought. So long as it don't hurt you And our man disappeared into a door opened on his knock, with the newest project in mind. And another partnership to foster. Or not. No sweat

As her sister you're with the chain gun with the tender loving care one would hope she could spare for her first born, Rhiannon wandered about the rather stoic little pad they had. Left, right then down. Up. High ceilings. She muttered -Rhiannon- "Needs an interior designer.... or an exorcist.... " The girl stole a look at the outside world and seeing the speeder just sitting there subconsciously spoke aloud -Rhiannon- "Yehsa...." Then raising her voice the girl said -Rhiannon- "Aranrhod! Comrro ke mi!" Expressing her urgency she added commandingly -Rhiannon- "B'lahesk!!!" Dropping what she was doing and standing on account of the urgency in Rhiannon's tone the other girl asked -Aranrhod- "Or e' so sa ehtu?" Stomping down her right foot, a sure sign to any who know the girl well that she is agitated, the one girl said but one word -Rhiannon- "Leh'na!" The people several stories up probably caught the emotion in Rhiannon's tone. And Aranrhod certainly caught the stubborn insistence in the tonality of her speech. So, with this emotion inspiring her Aranrhod hurried over to see just what it was that had Rhiannon in knots. Her eyes falling on the vessel the girl calmly said -Aranrhod- " You packing?" Not even attempting to conceal the CA-87 now in her right hand, Aranrhod calmly walked right out the door Lips tightening Rhiannon solemnly asked -Rhiannon- "Omak Kodali...." The end followed her sister. When Rhiannon's ass end made contact with the seat Aranrhod hit the accelerator and off they went like a bat out of hell -Aranrhod- "Belt in You moron - this ain't no movie!" Rhiannon did as offered and hung on tight

Rooting through a bag Rhiannon, began lining small dark canisters up gently against a wall spoke -Rhiannon- "Aranrhod you gotta see these suckers!" Looking around her momentarily her eyes quickly returning to the items -Rhiannon- "C-25 fragmentation grendes!" The other girl, her interest peaking , asked -Aranrhod- "Grre? Te'ann det ba'la." Nodding in agreement then counting slowly under her breath the woman's voice suddenly rose up as she declared -Rhiannon- "Twenty! Mi ne...." To which the eyes of Aranrhod grew wide. Going over to Rhiannon and kneeling down beside her, she helped finish setting the grenades in two rows against the wall and counting them. Done they say back admiring the incendiary devices. The women treated such things so nonchalantly some would might find cute. But their was nothing cute about children being so desensitized to violence. Not a thing

As Rhiannon became further entranced investigating the the grenades Aranrhod withdrew quietly. Finding her ceremonial dagger, a blade of great hereditary value, she fenced with the wind, dodging left and right, thrusting then withdrawing only to stab forward again. After some time she froze. Turning towards her mate the girl spoke solemnly -Aranrhod- "I must go to Shilli." Of course Rhiannon heard the words and for that reason her attention was drawn from the weapons. But the content of what Aranrhod said is what truly captured her friend's attention and she said quite simply -Rhiannon- "Ku du s'mahr." And the pair packed very light but heavy on the weapons and left In a corner Aranrhod spied two fine implements of destruction. She closed her eyes as the voice screamed in her mind "Faigh an caithmeamh tua." Throwing axe.... Picking both up she kept walking straight out the door. Rhiannon was right behind, slipping five grenades into a bag that s the carried. And thanking her God, Goddess that is, who's name I full well know but has anyone seen how long that.name actually is? Ok... lost myself there. Right! So both of our damsels shook their pretty little behinds down where their ships were docked. Jumping into their Wayfarer they lifted off proceeding to split the scene

Lounging languidly on a comfortable couch in the well appointed and ever so tastefully decorated living area of the sumptuous suite that has been her and her husband's home for the last decade, Makena Artsruni idly sips her Blossom wine as she watches the holonet coverage of the signing of the IRI treaty signing ceremony on Hapes, wondering if Zeltros' King Dorji will be in attendance personally, or if he will choose instead to send a witness.
Makena, the exiled former Queen of Zeltros, has little love for Dorji, given his role in her and her husband's exile. An ambitious former general in Zeltros' planetary defense force, Dorji had garnered the support of other high ranking and influential military leaders and staged a coup d'état that culminated in Enitan, the former King, being ousted and exiled along with Makena. The whole affair was, as such things go, quite civil. Ambitious and covetous of Enitan's title as Dorji was, he was not any more inclined to resort to violence than any Zeltron is, and so had simply made Enitan aware of the fact that he had the support of so many military leaders that any kind of armed resistance would have been futile, not to mention rather distasteful and unpleasant for all involved. Dorji proved to be so gracious and civil an author of a coup, in fact, that a fabulous party had been held in the Royal Palace to mark the occasion and to celebrate the fact that no one was harmed in his seizure of the throne. The party went on for weeks, but ended with Enitan and Makena exiled, in as nice a way as possible, of course, as Dorji had no desire to make things for them any more unpleasant than absolutely necessary, and so ensured they left with enough wealth to make pursuing their happiness and pleasure elsewhere as easy as they really could hope for, all things considered equally. Dorji had even allowed Enitan and Makena's masseuse, Iraja'ani, a lovely, clever and perhaps overly loyal and dedicated purple-skinned Tyrian Twi'lek to accompany them in exile when Iraja had asked to be permitted to do so.
Relocating to Coruscant, and making their home in 500 Republica, Makena and Enitan have availed themselves of the fine arts, culture, gatherings of the wealthy and influential from throughout the universe, and other things that they have always enjoyed during their exile. It has all been pleasant enough, though Makena does often miss being involved in seeing to the welfare of her home and her people, as she knows Enitan, in his often somewhat distracted way, does as well. It had been difficult for Makena and Enitan to watch from afar as Zeltros faced several crises after their exile, though fortunately all had been averted to one degree or another, and should the IRI treaty achieve all it has been authored to achieve, may have a new era of peace and prosperity to look forward to. It is, Makena thinks as she turns off the holonet once the treaty has been signed and the coverage then turns to the reception that is to follow it, a pity she and Enitan will only be able to watch that new era unfold from afar rather than play their hand in ensuring it proves to be a lasting one.

Makena and Enitan are enjoying a late brunch after an evening at the opera when Iraja'ani comes into the dining room and hands Enitan a datapad, saying, "Message for you, sire, from Zeltros."
Enitan, taking the datapad and setting it down beside his plate, reminds Iraja, "I'm not the King anymore, Ira, dear. You don't need to call me sire. Looking back over to Makena, he forgets about the datapad almost immediately and finishes what he had been saying before the interruption, On the whole I found it a bit difficult to follow. It was far from straightforward, my love."
Makena, dabbing at her lips with a napkin, suggests with an amused air, "Perhaps you would have found it easier to follow had you stayed awake throughout the last act, honey. I thought it was an immensely imaginative opera, full of very beautiful, fragile music. Now, do please read the message, Enitan. If it has news from Zeltros, I'm quite eager to hear it."
"Oh yes, right, Enitan says, picking up the datapad and opening the message, After reading some of it, he turns to Iraja and hands her the datapad as he says, This is very long, can you give me the condensed version, dear?"
Iraja, so accustomed to Enitan's frequently short attention span that she has already read the message in preparation for just this eventuality, nods as she accepts the datapad and then passes it to Makena, who she knows will read the message so she can explain whatever needs to be explained to Enitan later, "Of course, sire. King Dorji has invited you and Makena to Zeltros to attend a dinner party to discuss your reinstatement as the King and Queen of Zeltros."
Enitan, arching an eyebrow in puzzlement, asks, "Why ever would he do that?"
Iraja replies, "In short, he has grown tired of the responsibility, sire."
Enitan nods, "Poor old chap, I can well imagine the stress he's under with all that has happened and is going on. Does he say what he wants in return?"
Iraja, gathering that this discussion is going to be longer than she thought, sits down on the edge of the table and says, "He claims that all he wants is to retire to his estate in the Northern Province, sire."
Enitan grins, "Well, that's quite reasonable of him, isn't it?"
Iraja tilts her head to the side, her lekku twitching in mild exasperation behind her back as she points out, "He did depose you and exile you, sire. Some kind of rebuke might be in order, so as not to invite. . . "
Enitan waves the idea aside, "Oh, but why make things unpleasant for anyone? Where's the fun in that? He was really rather nice about the whole exile thing, all things considered, so I don't see why we can't make the transition every bit as pleasant, then looks over to Makena as he asks, What do you think, my love?"
Makena, resting her chin on her hand as she thinks of the preparations to be made and of how delightful the unexpected turn of events is in light of the thoughts she has had after learning of the IRI treaty signing and of what it could mean for the people of Zeltros, smiles and says, "I quite agree with you, honey, of course. I see no need at all to make the people of Zeltros suffer through any unnecessary unpleasantness. Perhaps we can find a way to spin things into a happy tale? Our exile was a story to cover up some tragic illness you or I have now miraculously recovered from, with Dorji redeemed as the unsung hero who willingly took on the responsibilities of the throne and role of the villain to spare the people from a harsher truth that would have been so much more upsetting. That sounds ever so much more fun, doesn't it? It can be a celebration instead of anything dull or dreary like the truth of the matter."
"I like it! Enitan declares, then turns to Iraja and says, Have Diki and Erhi, referring to his twin BD-3000 luxury droids, the latest additions to his collection of rare droids, begin arranging whatever needs to be arranged to return to Zeltros immediately."
"At once, sire," Iraja says with a bow before leaving to set Diki and Erhi to their task.
Enitan reaches out and places his hand over Makena's as he asks, "Was there anything else important in Dorji's message I should know, my love?"
Makena smiles as she says, "Oh, a few silly little details about changes in Zeltros' alliances and the like, but I can fill you in on them on the way home, dear. I'll polish up my lovely little fairy tale so we can let Dorji know of it so he can set the stage just so for our joyous return home."
The preparations for their return take a few days, which Makena spends alternately relaxing and bringing herself and Enitan up to speed on the events. pleasant and unpleasant alike, that transpired in their absence, as well as the changes in galactic affairs and the effects the changes have had on their homeworld. By the time their SoroSuub Corporation Personal Luxury Yacht 3000, the Raissa, has been filled with their possessions and prepared for the journey to Zeltros, Makena feels as though she and her husband are as well prepared as they can be for returning to their roles as King and Queen, as well as for fulfilling their duties to the people of Zeltros in as fun and stylish a way as possible.

When it is announced that the public address from the palace is about to begin, Celeste moves through the chattering clusters of businessmen, bankers, politicians, military leaders, models, artists, holonet actors and other movers and shakers attending the banquet thrown by an obscenely wealthy shipping magnate to find her father, Moff of Yaga Minor, who she last saw surrounded by a group of moffs and generals on one of the penthouse's decks. Her father spots her as Celeste is about to open the doors, and holds his hand up to have her stay inside, which strikes her as odd, but before she has too long to dwell on the matter she finds herself being herded along with a few other stragglers to the penthouse's main living area where the address will be playing on a huge screen for all of the guests to see.
The conclusion of the Imperial Spokesperson's address is met with spirited applause and cheers, and as she joins in the applause, Celeste looks around for her father again, spotting him politely clapping along with everyone else as he leans to the side and listens to whatever the Imperial Military Officer, clapping in a perfunctory rather than enthusiastic way it seems to Celeste, beside him is saying. Her father's expressions have always been easy for Celeste to read, the two of them having been alone after her mother passed away, and Celeste can see that her father is concerned by whatever it is the officer is saying.
Joining her father after the cheering and applause have died down and serving droids are starting to circulate with champagne flutes on trays, Celeste nods towards the military officer walking away as she asks, "Everything five by five, Dad?"
Smiling and putting an arm around Celeste's shoulder as he grabs a champagne flute from a droid passing nearby, Malosi, a powerfully built bear of a man with a bald head and a neatly trimmed beard, tells his daughter in a jovial tone that is so convincing that it makes her doubt what she had seen in his expression earlier, "Of course! The Empire is in capable hands, and I have you here with me on Coruscant for a few days more. What more could I ask for?" Taking a second champagne flute and handing it to Celeste, he starts telling her of his plans for the rest of their stay on Coruscant, promising to make sure they have some time to themselves after having spent the last few days going from one party to another, and jokingly reminding her that when she was younger all she had wanted to do was just that.
By the time Celeste's father excuses himself and tells her that she should find a younger crowd rather than keep an old man like him company, Celeste has all but forgotten the odd feelings her father's behavior before and during the address from the palace left her with, though she will remember them bitterly much later when she understands what had probably occurring.

The three girls were about at their wits end. Then…. Just then with them all nearing the threshold of tearing each other to pieces, quite literally, a near forgotten Comm. began ringing. All stopped but sat in a state of near animated suspension for an agonizingly long second. Hid finally picking up the device opened the link. Listening intently as her sisters intently watched. And listened awaiting her response. Cutting the line Gid spoke —Gid- “We’re on…. “ A firestorm of converse broke out among the three, as they learned, planning and plotting a return

T’was a lovely night, so thought Shakk. Dark yet the moon made its own light. Ghostly but comforting nonethesame. She caught sight of her sisters talking.A bit. Well barely. Gid, a red Twi’leck was waving her hands about enthusiastically as she spoke of… something. And….. Shakk sat watching as a green fist went sailing into the nose of Gid. The fist of course was attached to the left arm ofAlem, an exceptionally well muscled woman. Gid was unquestionably tagged - hard. And blood came trickling down her face, soiling clothes then falling to the floor. Sighing deep Shakk continued watching. Gid slipped the shot but far from perfectly, hence the blood. Slinging right then lunging forward, Gid brutally hit Alem with her body. As if catching a bag blowing in the wind, Alem scooped up Gid, jerking her fast above head then violently slamming the girl to the ground. Then the two were crouching and facing each other ready to rumble. Opening an incessantly ringing comm. Shakk said nothing but listened to every word. Her eyes widened. She nodded. Several times. Cutting the comm. she spoke -Shakk- “Some of our own are fighting on Manaan!” And that simply statement brought everything to a screeching halt. At long last Gid broke the silence -Gid- “Then we move…..” And at that the three flew into action. Clothes were changed, bags packed. Weapons then more weapons were holstered, hidden and what have you. The ship too was readied for lift off. And they were gone…..
