However, it was plain to see that while the Shapeshifter was this self-assured and confident, the Supreme Commander surely held her leash in this moment. The moment the door closed behind them and Nicademus was alone with Illaria, he would remain silent for a moment. He exhaled deeply as the male stretched his neck for just a slight second. Then the Supreme Commander turned around, pulling Illaria into his embrace to share a kiss upon her lips. It was somewhat hard to always be the Supreme Commander and Lady Ren in public when they were Nicademus and Illaria in private. He knew that Illaria had probably desired to chastise him earlier for his comments, maybe she was even prepared to speak her rebuttal immediately. Yet, as the Imperial walked away with her, he was reminded of her words from a night before. She would only speak out to better him, not at his own detriment. And, in the presence of his fellow officers and chain of command, Nicademus knew that the Lady Ren bit her tongue.
The Imperial gently touched her hips as he shared the kiss with her for awhile longer before their lips parted enough to allow him to speak. His hand gently came up, touching her cheek lightly as his steely gaze looked into her own eyes. Nicademus would look into her eyes for a moment, then speak calmly.I know you understand why I spoke out like I did... I had to, in front of my commanders and officers. Otherwise their respect for me and their view of me could have been altered immediately. At least, I know you understand why I did it though. Why I had to do it. Just as you would not speak out to my own detriment, I would never do that to you either, Illaria.

Faina is kneeling beside one of the fallen enemy soldiers after the all clear has been given, searching the soldier for any intel that might prove useful, when Nyra returns with an unconscious enemy. Faina is about to suggest that they interrogate the soldier when, after another of the woman's apparently characteristic jokes, Nyra summarily dispatches the enemy trooper. Her jaw tightens almost painfully when Faina sees Nyra's red blade, a detail she had been too caught up in the opening moments of the battle to have noted until now. That the First Order has welcomed Darksiders into their ranks is not news to Faina, the fact one she had learned from Xeonon Solomon not long after he had officially Knighted her, but it is not until now that Faina has found herself fighting alongside a Darksider, assuming that Nyra's red blade is not simply an affectation. Watching with an inscrutably impassive expression while Nyra lifts the decapitated head of the enemy soldier, Faina finds herself momentarily at a loss as to what her sense of honor and duty demand of her; though the Imperial Knights have changed and evolved, their ardent belief that serving an Empire that brings order to universe is the way to serve the Force has remained, at least in her eyes, unchanged, so how can aligning with those that have succumbed to the Dark Side help sow order? Her hand tightens on her lightsaber hilt as Faina reminds herself that her duty, above all, is to ensure that the leader of the Empire - or, as the case may be, the Order - does not fall prey to the Dark Side. The Dark Siders, Xeonon claimed so long ago, were a means to an end, a tool or weapon to be used; and yet Faina cannot help but wonder if their presence is not like a cancer that will pervert the First Order's noble intentions, just as she cannot help but wonder if the rot has not already set in, making her a party to the very thing she was sworn to stand against.
"I'll keep an eye out," Faina - having decided that she cannot yet determine whether the ideals of the Imperial way have been corrupted - says flatly when Nyra asks her to watch for a bigger enemy head, her hand relaxing slightly so that her lightsaber hilt is no longer clutched quite as tightly. She will watch things more closely now, Faina tells herself, and judge whether or not the Order still remains an instrument of the Light; she can no longer simply ignore the unease that has plagued her for some time now.
Nodding to Sarn after he has suggested that they begin moving out to rejoin the rest of the platoon, Faina lifts her hood over her head and, with her physical senses as well as her awareness of that which the Force enables her to be aware of all alert for any hint of danger, falls into step at the rear of the group as they begin their trek through the jungle.

SPC Sarn sets a quick pace through the jungle as the team's point man, and it is not long before they are once more reunited with their platoon. There is no time for rest however, as the platoon is advancing rapidly as ordered for their ultimate objective: the fortress known as the Hand of Thrawn. Sarn, Wren, and Arekson are ordered to return to their squadron, and a helpful Stormtrooper directs Faina and Nyra towards where the platoon's leader, 1LT Foresi can be found.
Looking over when a Stormtrooper informs her that Faina has returned and is approaching, Nicolina notes, And she has a new friend with her too, ins't that cute? Lifting a hand to wave the two Forcies over, Nicolina skips the small talk and instead greets them by way of filling them in on what they've learned from the platoon's forward observers and other comm reports that have been relayed to the First Order's forces, Sounds like the enemy forces are on the ropes, about to go down for the count. Latest reports have 'em showing signs of everything from simple disorganization to outright desertion. Still, she adjusts the sling of her DLT-19 heavy blaster rifle so it is in a patrol ready carry, we don't want to go in half-cocked or do anything stupid, so we do it by the numbers. Turning her expressionless helmet towards the pair of Forcies, Nicolina grins unseen beneath as she says, Unless I see an opening for something all creative n' awesome that I just can't resist. All traces of humor fading from her tone, Nicolina continues more soberly, You two can decide where you want to contribute, of course. The Forcies aren't technically under her command, and Nicolina has learned it's usually best to let them jump in where and when they feel it best to do so.
Stopping for a moment as they reach the top of a small rise, Nicolina points off into the distance towards the tops of the five towers that give the fortress the unique appearance that gave it its name, Nicolina says, And there it is. Not much longer now. Let's go capture us a tower, huh?

He remained seated upon the roof of the walker, even as his HUD displayed a small message that Illaria's comm link had been deactivated, whilst the First Order forces continued to advance upon the Tower. Much had changed between him and the Lady Ren since their mission to Deralia, and whilst things between them had been agreed upon, life was rarely ever that simple, and it made things like this no less easier to deal with. But if this was what she wanted, he knew that no matter what he did, no matter how hard he resisted, that it would be for naught, and as Deralia had proved, would merely puish her further away. But he was the one that needed to be away from her, and he had told her as much, knowing that he needed to distance himself from everything and get some perspective. Even know, as he ruminated upon her accusation that he was chaining her to him, he knew she was right, hell, he had known she was right then, but he was beginning to understand why she had chosen Nicademus.
His other failings as a man she could love aside, which he still had yet to fully figure out, he would always be a reminder to her of the Knights of Ren, whereas Nicademus was the brief escape she sought. And with the new orders he had been given by the Master, He would never break free of his fate, never win this war no matter how hard he fought for her. Sure, she may grow tired of Nicademus in time, but Harnan was doubtful he would ever fill that place within her heart, since he would be a reminder to her always of her oath, even if he tried not to be. But even if he could become the things she needed, he knew he could never achieve it whilst remaining so close to her side, his feelings for her taunting him every time she went off alone with Nicademus.
It had been his hope that this mission would provide him a chance to steal a moment of Illaria's time, to do his best to leave things on amicable terms with her. But, it was quite clear that he would not be afforded that chance, and if he was entirely honest, perhaps things would be better off this way, since he would not fall victim to old habits. It was then, that he returned his attention to the present, where he knew Varik and Illaria were not coming out to join him, partly because the war had been won, but mostly because he was certain Illaria and Nicademus had absconded for another affair. Pushing aside his feelings on the matter, he knew his assistance here was no longer required, and he had no intention of sitting around like some lap dog, as he returned to the interior of the AT-AT. Transports were already descending from orbit to begin loading the Whap Legion back upon The Resurgeance, as Harnan re-established his holoconnection with the command center, his suspicions immediately confirmed as he noted the absence of Illaria and Nicademus. His holo image appeared back at the base, standing right next to the holo table, which would already be noting his forces recall, as he looked to General Artemis Either before or after Commander Delvardus returns from what ever he is doing with the Lady Ren, inform him I'll be preping The Resurgence for its next mission. Conquered worlds hold little interest for me, and if he has a next target in mind, he had best suggest it... Harnan then cut the feed as a transport descended to retrieve the AT-AT, knowing that if Nicademus wanted to contact him, it would likely be after he was done with Illaria, since he knew none of the First Order command would interrupt the man before that. Within moments, the transport was heading up into orbit, as one amongst many transports that were moving the Whap Legion from the surface to The Resurgeance

The Shapeshifter watched Nicademus with a curiosity reflecting in her eyes, he was silent. Stressed. Tense. She could see it in the way he moved and stretched his muscles. Reaching up with her hand, she runs it through her unruly blonde and white hair, flicking it out of her eyes. Soft wisps of that pale hair swept past the shell of an ear, caressing the skin of her neck, jaw, and cheeks. As the Imperial turned and pulled her to him, she went willingly into his strong embrace, pressing her lips to his and bringing her hands up to rest on either side of his chest. Fingertips tracing meaningless patterns across the front of his uniform, she met his gaze as he pulled back from her. Staring into his eyes gave her a thrill that was hard to get any other way.
Illaria leaned into his touch as he brought his hand up to her face, nuzzling her cheek against his hand as she merely watched him. Confidence, desire, longing, sorrow, loneliness; her eyes held all of those deep-seated emotions and more – those that danced like fire, licking at the confines of their prison. However, there were times like today where it was difficult to tell what she was feeling, what emotions were soaring just beyond those walls. It was as if the fire had dwindled down to smoldering embers. A small smile touched her lips, the only hint as to what she was feeling right now. “Nicademus, I understand. Never worry about that.” The Lady Ren’s silvery eyes dropped to his chest as she looked down, smoothing her hands across the front of his uniform. What had only been a small smile meant just for him suddenly turned into a rather amused smirk as she looked up to meet his gaze. “He was not that undeserving of my little…love tap to the jewels, though. He rightfully earned every bit of that. And more actually, come to think of it.”
Leaning forward, the Shapeshifter shared another kiss with the Supreme Commander, her lips ghosting across his for the briefest of seconds. Pulling back from his lips, she tucks her head beneath his chin and rests it against his chest, just over his heart. With her ear against his chest, she could hear his heart beating within and something about this moment reminded her that he was only human. Short-lived and frail. And it was not because he lacked the ability to touch the Force, it was because he was human. It was highly likely that she would still be here long after Nicademus had passed on, granted she was not killed on the battlefield. The beats of his heart were numbered and counted down to his own demise as surely as a ticking bomb. And then she would still be here, stuck with the sensation of feeling so horribly, terribly alive. For some reason, that distressed her and Illaria was only glad he could not see her face right now. She dared not move, dared not even breathe. She was frozen to the spot as she buried her face in his neck.
“Now, was there actually something you needed me to do with the present I brought you?” The Shapeshifter mumbles against his neck, unable to resist brushing her lips against his skin before settling back down. “Or was that just part of your plan to get me to stay here with you?”

Nyra trudged along behind everyone else, steadying her breath and trying to regain her strength during the break of combat. The rain was both aiding and hindering her in this endeavor. She loved the rain, but the mud it caused was getting on her nerves. More than once one of her boots became stuck in the ground. Each time she had lost her nerve and yelled out obscenities while proceeding to get herself unstuck.
"Are we there yet?"
As if by prophecy the roaming group finally met up with the rest of the Stormtroopers. Nyra's brooding appearance finally perked up. She adjusted her hood as she approached Nicolina. Why was everyone around her so tall? She looked up slightly as the Stormtrooper began talking, while she only half listened to most of it. When Nicolina pointed off in the direction of the Towers that were their goal Nyra laughed at the sight.
"Wonder if this planet has other buildings shaped like body parts..."
Nyra rolled her shoulders back, a satisfying smile forming on her face as she heard a small pop.
"What's the level of damage we can cause without making the boss man angry?"

Nicademus felt Illaria lay her head underneath his neck and against his chest. It was a position of intimacy that the pair enjoyed as often as they could. It was truly a privilege to have this quiet moment with the battle for Nirauan finally winding down after almost a month of fighting. Imperial Knights and Stormtroopers trudged through leagues upon leagues of mud and rain for the last two weeks of fighting. It was unfortunate that the monsoon season within this region started earlier than anticipated, but weather could never go according to plan. Yet here, within this room and his arms embracing the woman who the Supreme Commander had fallen for, the battle, the world... everything around him vanish for this small moment as his focus turned to Illaria. The stress of these past few weeks bled away, just enough for the Imperial to truly be at peace, even if it was for this small window in time.
His hand would raise up, gently stroking the long locks of golden hair upon the head of the Shapeshifter. For now though, he remained quiet, even though a question was present to him by the most lovely Lady Ren. Nicademus just wanted some peace and quiet with her, before duty called him to end this war and begin the process of the next operation towards their final destination. All would become aware of the true purpose of this campaign shortly enough. His eyes glanced down at her after some silent time.
I just wanted to feel you in my embrace, Illaria... just an excuse to have you close to me once more. This whole operation of mine will come to a conclusion soon. Nirauan was the final step towards the First Order's ultimate goal. The conclusion will shake the whole of the galaxy soon enough.
And that tremor would cause a massive reaction, Nicademus knew. Even with the Republic gone, there were still the Jedi out there and fragments of the Republic's military and loyalists. Intel had reported a Jedi outpost on Dantooine, which was coming ever closer to the expanding borders of the First Order's territory. Even if the Jedi ignored this aggression, his operation would surely spur them into more immediate action. Yet the boons of his campaign would make the First Order without any rivals that could truly stand against them. And his enemies would feel this boon soon enough.
His mind was torn away for a moment as his comlink went off. Nicademus sighs and keys, allowing only voice communication, no visual. The sender's code was General Daxon along with his brother, General Artemis. The Supreme Commander glances down at Illaria for a moment before turning his attention back to the comlink.
Supreme Commander, General Delvardus of the Imperiual 9th Army speaking. Our forces have finally converged on the Tower of the Hand. We await your instructions, sir. The situation here seems grim for the Hand from what our scouts have reported. Handfuls of Chiss soldiers have come out and surrendered from across the surrounding area. We have visual on many army camps, but it seems like a mess down here. What are your orders?
Move on the Tower, General. I will be with you shortly. Send out an open communication, requesting their surrender. Begin disarming these soldiers and cast down their flags... this war is over. Arrest all commanders and leadership. Those who resist... shoot them.
An acknowledgement went through as Nicademus keys off the comlink. He sighs, looking down at Illaria. His gloved hand raises her chin so that their eyes met once more so that the Imperial could share a departing kiss with her. After the long kiss, the Imperial would pull away and begin to leave. Then he pauses shortly before the doorway, looking back at the Lady Ren. Her figure making his eyes glance downward for a moment before discipline kicked in and his gaze shot back up to her eyes.
Do what you want with the Chiss prisoner, Illaria. He won't be necessary anymore...

"What's the level of damage we can cause without making the boss man angry?" Pretty sure it's the toy surprise inside that the boss man is interested in, not the whole mint in box thing. Still, Nicolina shrugs a shoulder, might be best to keep the property damage to a minimum. Lifting one hand while tapping the side of her helmet with another to indicate she is receiving orders via secure comm, Nicolina is silent a moment before saying, Alright, we've got the order to move on the fortress.
Turning to SSG Solberg, her platoon sergeant, Nicolina tells her, You n' yours are on roundup, cowgirl. Yee-haw. Enemy wants to surrender, you let 'em. Disarm them and set up a holding area. Returning the smaller Stormtrooper's salute, Nicolina turns to another trooper, Simon, you n' yours are playing firemen. You're to stamp out any fires of resistance, see what I did there? Funny, right? Anyway, they don't throw down their arms, they get all good n' extinguished. After returning Simon's salute, Nicolina turns to another trooper as the sounds of her platoon beginning to move out to carry out her orders increase in intensity, Achari, you and your squad are with me and the Forcies. Turning to include Faina and Nyra in the discussion, Nicolina explains, We're going to move into that western-most tower there and secure it, make sure no enemies are holed up inside trying to pull anything cute like break their toys so no one else can play with them. Sounds fun, right? Nodding towards Nyra, Nicolina reminds her in a playful tone, Let's all try to confine any damage to the enemy troops, not the toy prizes inside, 'kay?
As they begin moving for entrance into the western-most tower, Nicolina tells Faina, Try and stick with the group this time, huh? No running ahead.

Pretty sure it's the toy surprise inside that the boss man is interested in, not the whole mint in box thing.. .Try and stick with the group this time, huh? No running ahead. Nodding absently, continuing to more or less tune Nicolina out since past history has taught her that only one-third of what the woman says tends to actually be relevant and/ or useful, Faina says dryly, "No rushing in ahead of the group, and try not to break anything Delvardus might want. Understood lieutenant. Waving a hand for Nyra to close up their formation a bit, Faina says, Nyra and I will take point," not making a suggestion so much as telling the Stormtrooper how things will be once they are all inside the fortress; not only are Nyra and she more likely to sense any impending threat before it can be sprung upon them unsuspectingly, Faina thinks, but she and Nyra seem to share a similar thirst for combat that makes taking point appealing.
As they step into the fortress, Faina focuses on extending her awareness of what the Force can reveal to her so that she can try and glean a sense of whether or not any enemies lay in wait somewhere in the darkness ahead, doing her best to ignore the nagging thought that she should probably not be hoping that they do encounter resistance just so that she can lose herself in the chaos of battle for a time once more.

C'thulu Xinthani exited hyperspace in his newly, albeit violently, acquired freighter and checked the navcomputer. "Why did he need to come here?" About two feet away from C'thulu's feet lay the previous owner of the freighter. C'thulu smirked at how simple it was to acquire the ship. As C'thulu sat at the controls he looked out the window for the first time since he was onboard. "What the-" He was cut off as the ship hit a large chunk of debris and was sent plummeting to the planet's surface. Thanks to some last second maneuvers and sheer luck he landed with the ship destroyed but him still alive. The large chunk of debris that the freighter had struck in orbit was, in fact, a small satellite that Cain had placed in orbit to monitor orbital traffic. The fact that the satellite had been struck by the freighter was in itself an anomaly. But the bigger anomaly was the particular being on board the ship.Motion sensors and radar were tripped by the falling ship. It impacted several clicks north of the secondary entrance to Cain's research facilities. Cain was alerted immediately to the disruption. After following the proper decontamination protocols, Cain ventured out to investigate the disruption. A tremor in the Force was drawing him to the downed craft. Cain trudged through the thick foliage around him. The damp, dense forest air hardly affecting his respiration. As he strode, all that could be heard were his mechanical wheezes and the occasional rustling of some underbrush. Cain paused tentatively before the downed craft. Noting the damaged sustained, Cain knew the vessel wasn't space-worthy anymore. The cockpit had been sheared completely clean from the rest of the vessel. Cain picked his way through the wreckage until he came across the still outline of a sentient still strapped into the pilot's seat. Cain cautiously approached, his right clawed hand hovering over his lightsaber hilt. As Cain neared, he noted the being to be alien. Kaleesh in fact. Cain paused and spoke to see if the being would react to his presence. Though Cain knew for certain that this Kaleesh was the cause of the tremor within the Force. Cain's metallic voice crackled through the peculiar silence that permeated the surrounding forest.Cain Dracus:"I am Lord Dracus of the First Order. You are currently trespassing on a restricted area. Identify yourself or die." Cain waited somewhat patiently for a response, though his right hand never remained lingering over his saber hilt.

He was unable to make out anything other than the lightsaber hilt and was hardly able to catch his name."I am C'thulu Xinthani. You said your name is Lord Status, correct?" C'thulu unstrapped himself from the seat slowly hoping not to pose a threat and remained seated knowing fighting would mean death in his current condition.

A twinge of annoyance passed over him as the other being spoke. Either he was being particularly dense, or he was more disoriented then originally assumed. As Cain observed the being unstrap himself from the seat, he extended his perceptions outwards and brushed every so subtly against the Kaleesh's mind. As he made contact, he instantly recoiled his mental touch.
This Kaleesh was powerful. Untrained and undisciplined perhaps, but certainly powerful. The potential was there. And that was when Cain understood the situation perfectly. This was no mere accident. It was the will of the Force. This Kaleesh had been delivered to him. And now he had an opportunity. Since gaining his freedom from his former master, Cain had regressed back into the folds of the First Order. Removing himself from the front lines and once more taking up the role as a scientist and researcher. Nicademus had given him everything he required to make the facilities that were now located under the Hand of Thrawn fortress. And Cain had made leaps and bounds with his research. But now, the will of the Force was to drop a highly sensitive being on his doorstep. Perhaps now was a time to make a more public return into the First Order's active ranks. He had secluded himself away from the galaxy for many months now. With the young Kaleesh bristling with the Force, Cain now had a choice to make. And it was a fairly obvious choice at that.
Cain inclined his head towards the still seated Kaleesh and cleared his throat. A harsh mechanical cough echoed within the remains of the cockpit.
Cain Dracus:"Lord Dracus." He corrected. "And what brings you to my secluded section of the galaxy, C'thulu? This is restricted territory owned by the First Order. Trespassing here is punishable by death..."
Cain allowed his right hand to relax and hang at his side. His left was still raised, gripping the jagged remains of the cockpit's outer hull for support as he leaned forward.
Cain needed to get this being out of here and hidden within the facilities until such time as he could approach the Supreme Commander about it. And an incident report needed to be filed back to Imperial HIGHCOM. Luckily this wasn't a serious incident. Which meant it wouldn't attract the attentions of the High Admiral or any of his lackeys.

C'thulu slowly began to feel the immediate effects of the crash wear off and finally got a decent look at who he was speaking to and his surroundings. He confirmed that it was a lightsaber and felt a wave of relief after Lord Dracus's hand began to relax.
"Lord Dracus my apologies. My navcomputer malfunctioned and to be completely honest I'm not even sure where I am."
C'thulu honestly wasn't sure where he was but there was no way he was going to tell someone what he was doing on that ship. Let alone someone who is potentially extremely hostile and even more so lethal.
"Might I ask where I am?"

Cain inclined his head.
Cain Dracus:"You have stumbled upon Nirauan. Currently under the occupation of the First Order. But this is not the place to discuss such matters. If any of the ISB patrols come around, you will be detained and questioned until they are satisfied. I need no such interrogation techniques to know that you will not cause any harm here. This way."
Cain then left his spot near the jagged entrance to the cockpit and began hiking back through the forest to the secondary entrance to his underground laboratory complex.
Cain knew that is was risky letting a complete stranger into a highly secured Imperial facility, however, as a Sith, he could not safely ignore the fact that this Kaleesh had crashed here accidentally. He knew better than to suspect coincidence, especially when it came to the Force. No, this was happening for a reason. And Cain planned on capitalizing on this moment.

C'thulu new nothing about the First Order other than its military might. He also new nothing about this planet other than that he can breathe and there are jungles as far as he could see. C'thulu also contemplated what might happen if he didn't follow. More than likely death. So it looks like C'thulu at least got to take in the sights.
C'thulu quickly followed Lord Dracus through the jungle knowing that is he lost Dracus he may never find any civilization. Once they reached the laboratory C'thulu grew speechless.
Despite his awe C'thulu wondered why he was brought here. Lord Dracus could have easily killed him at the remains of the ship but didn't. The First Order wasn't exactly known for mercy so why him of all people.
"What are you working on?"
C'thulu thought that question might make him seem a little too curious especially around complete strangers. He also thought however if he was brought there because he was harmless than he'd rather be seen as curious than timid.

The march back to the secondary entrance was a quick one. Both Cain and the Kaleesh made it there easily enough. Once through the decontamination chambers and out onto the main thoroughfare, the Kaleesh, C'thulu, spoke up. Cain merely answered simply, as he did not wish to incur the wrath of Imperial High Command.
Cain Dracus:"That's classified. At least for the time being. Though I am intrigued that out of all the places you could have landed, you crashed here. I am not one to believe in coincidence either. I believe that there is a much larger picture..."
Cain rounded a corner, with C'thulu in tow. Cain pushed his way through the double doors and summoned a medical droid. They had entered the laboratory's infirmary. Cain issued orders to the medical droid.
Cain Dracus:"Give our patient here a quick once over. Make sure there is nothing wrong with him. If there is, patch him up. And grab a sample of DNA for our records."
The medical droid carried out its assignment. Cain turned and spoke to C'thulu once more.
Cain Dracus:"Once you have been cleared, an escort will bring you to my personal quarters for further investigation."
Cain motioned for a passing group of Stormtroopers to come over to him.
Cain Dracus:"This Kaleesh is to remain here until given a clean bill of health. Once cleared you will escort him directly to my personal quarters. Understood Sergeant?"
The Stormtrooper Sergeant snapped to attention and saluted Cain.
"Understood Lord Dracus."
Cain paused for a moment, then spun about and left the infirmary, heading towards his personal quarters so he could file a report to Imperial High Command on Muunilinst.

C'thulu underwent the examinations and much to his own surprise had nothing more than cracked ribs a slightly cracked skull and a concussion. Nothing he hasn't had before. After nearly an hour and a half however all his current and previous ailments and injuries were healed.
C'thulu never physically felt better in his life. He wondered how he could go since he was a child without being seen by a medical droid.
C'thulu rose from the bed he was on after a DNA sample was taken. Almost immediately the stormtroopers took him to Lord Dracus's personal quarters.
C'thulu has seen stormtroopers before but never this close.
As C'thulu entered Lord Dracus's personal quarters he bowed to the man who has taken care of him. C'thulu rose from his bow and stood in a somewhat formal manner.
"You wished to see me Lord Dracus?"

Cain had just finished up sending in a report to the Supreme Commander on Muunilinst when the Stormtrooper escort brought C'thulu to his personal quarters. Cain then spoke to C'thulu. His metallic voice crackled and wheezed as he spoke.
Cain Dracus:"Indeed. I have just reported to the Supreme Commander. Before he gets back to me, I would like to make you an offer. Have a seat." Cain motioned with a clawed hand towards the chairs in front of the desk he was standing behind. "I have felt the strength of your Force Sensitivity. I feel it was no accident that you ended up crashing here. The will of the Force can be strange, but I believe you have been led here..."Cain paused for a moment, clasping his hands behind his back, then continued speaking. "I would like to offer you a chance to become my apprentice. Join with the First Order and together we will accomplish great things..."
Cain's helmeted head turned to face the young Kaleesh warrior.
Cain Dracus:"I have let you live up until now. If you refuse my offer but accept the First Order, the Supreme Commander will reassign you elsewhere. If you refuse to join the First Order but become my apprentice, I shall train you in secret, away from the prying eyes of the galaxy and the First Order. If you refuse both offers outright then I will have no choice but to dispose of you however I see fit..."Cain paused to let the choices laid before the Kaleesh to sink in before continuing. "Death will be the least of your worries. Having a Kaleesh warrior such as yourself would make for an...interesting test subject..."
Cain trailed off once more, chuckling to himself. C'thulu would perceive this as a harsh mechanical cough instead. Cain's helmeted gaze never left the Kaleesh as he waited for his response.

C'thulu sat as instructed and listed very intently. After a few moments of thought C'thulu smirked, a rare sight outside of battle.
"I graciously accept both offers."
C'thulu reached inside his tattered robes and set down his two stolen lightwhips.
"Do you wish for me to keep these master or no?"
C'thulu had no attachment to the lightwhips. He however found there rarity useful in previous altercations. To him they were merely a means for survival.

Cain watched the young Kaleesh for a few moments longer. Listening intently as he accepted. And then he reached into his tattered robes and placed two lightwhips on the desk. Cain reached for one and examined it. Placing it back down on the desk, Cain's right hand disappeared behind his back and returned a moment later with a lightsaber hilt in his grip.
Cain Dracus:"Keep the lightwhips if you wish. I have never found them to be of use to me personally, though a Sith skilled in their use is incredibly dangerous." He places the ornate looking silver hilt on the desk and slides it over to his newly acquired apprentice."Should you prefer to use a lightsaber, I am gifting this one to you until such time that we create your own. The blade is silver in color. The saber hilt was hand crafted by the most skilled tradesmen on Rhommamool many years ago. My master had given it to me as a gift and now I give it to you. It represents the bond formed between master and apprentice..."
Cain trailed off, reminiscing of old times. But then he snapped himself out of it, aware that his apprentice was still seated before him.
Cain Dracus:"I will speak to the Supreme Commander again once he informs me that he has received my report. I shall inform him of your newly acquired status as my apprentice. Until then, spare quarters have been set up for you. I have also taken the liberty to have custom tailored armorweave robes and a cloak made for you as well. They should arrive at your quarters by morning."
Cain gazes upon his apprentice for a moment, then motions to the door.
Cain Dracus:"Sergeant Dovilyn will escort you to your quarters, as well as anywhere else you need until familiarize yourself with this facility. You are dismissed for the evening. Feel free to visit the mess hall for some food. I suggest you get your fill. If the Supreme Commander approves of the next step of my experimentation, we will be very busy within the next while."
As the Sergeant comes in to escort C'thulu to his quarters, Cain seats himself at his desk and begins reviewing the latest stream of reports coming in from the labs.
