*Serrin seemed to have a different approach to Aerandir's thought that it was best the public wasn't aware of Andros's alignment, that his unknown status left people to freely speculate and come to the worst-case scenario, and that the culprit may have been counting on that fact. Admittedly an angle he hadn't considered. He lifted his hand to his face and brushed his finger across his upper lip as he considered that thought.* But if he comes clean now... *He lowered his hand and looked up as he heard his sister begin to offer her perspective as she looked around between all three of the Masters.* ... wouldn't that be bad timing? Like, if people already think it might be him, wouldn't admitting he wasn't completely light or neutral just make that worse? *She held everyone's gaze for a moment, then looked back down into her lap thoughtfully.* Then again, if he said so after he was proven innocent, people might start to think he could still do those things... and if he waited until he considered himself atoned and said something like, "Yeah, I was a darksider, but I'm good now," people might wonder what else he could be hiding... *She sighed, none of the suggested alternatives seeming like they had many pros at all, and looked up, shaking her head. Aerandir managed an encouraging smile at her for her contributions and analysis regardless.* It's certainly a position no one would want themselves to be in, but none of us know the mind of Andros. Well, Atlantis might. *He smiled, hoping that little joking statement, despite its truth, lightened her mood a little. She managed a small smile but still seemed very concerned about the entire situation. The added information about Andros keeping his media coverage low could have been an excuse for keeping that little fact about him hidden, or it could simply lead the public to believe it was intentional to keep that hidden as well... A potential mess. But not the mess they had to concern themselves with at the moment.
Onto the victims, Serrin provided the info she already knew, that the police force believed the victims to be the head of a large criminal organization and his accomplices. Interesting... Serrin asked if there was any potential evidence that the victims were not criminals, which led Aerandir to wonder what state the bodies were in if their identities had not been completely confirmed. Aerandir mentally noted the name Atlantis gave, the Attorney General of the world, and he would definitely investigate this closely himself.
Atlantis had some information of his own to share, a trail he had managed to pick up at the scene, which corroborated with a security feed of a figure about five-foot-five-inches tall, hooded in black, gender unknown. Said figure was likely left-handed and a Makashi user, and their weapon had an odd knuckle guard that left an impression in the victim. And that the blade was synthetic, judging by the wounds. Aerandir nodded, making another note to confirm this with the rangers; not that he didn't distrust Atlantis, but he definitely wanted to make sure all the pieces were falling into place properly during his own investigations.* Thanks for all the information, it's a good start, I can piece a preliminary knowledge base together and add to it tomorrow. However, one thing I thought odd: If the victims are indeed criminals... why frame Andros for that? I'm not saying the method used to kill them would be fitting of the Vice Governor regardless, but why not civilians? Something truly scandalous? And... if the victims' identities aren't confirmed, what kind of state are their bodies in? *A part of him, the caring father part, almost regretted asking that question in front of Morgan; that basic instinct of not wanting to instill unpleasant imagery within his daughter. Especially since she'd been exposed to some grisly imagery herself, and didn't want to elicit any memories of that. But he knew she was a strong girl and could handle a lot. Her empathic nature led to many an instance where she grew mildly distressed at a situation, but she usually recovered quickly; imagery alone wouldn't instill those feelings within her.*

*Morgan looked to her daddy when he assured her that Andros' alignment was unknown, and for a moment she felt relief, but then Master Roma suggested that perhaps that wasn't a good thing... Morgan frowned, similarly not having considered that angle. Apparently Andros hadn't really meant to keep that a secret? At least, it seemed like that was what Atlantis was trying to say... Seemed like a pretty big detail to leave out for the public... And the culprits seemed somehow aware of this and only exploited it. They were crafty...
Michelle offered a rebuttal and alternative solutions, but she didn't seem absolutely confident that any of them sounded like good options. Morgan frowned and began to chew on the flesh of her left cheek thoughtfully, trying to consider all angles, even as the subject moved on to who the victims were. It was "believed" they were a crime lord and assistants, but Master Roma's asking if there was a chance they were not, in fact, criminals led Morgan to wonder why that hadn't been confirmed yet. ... well, there was one good reason, one that made her softly gulp at the thought.
A thought that her daddy seemed to consider too, a thought he'd voiced aloud. She tried not to think about it. Quite honestly, the worst carnage she'd seen was damage to herself; her scars burned and she visibly winced a little as she tried to force those thoughts away, but was unable to keep her hand from reaching up and clutching at her chest. She held it there a moment, then finally let it fall back down to her side. She had to find a way to control that... The last thing she needed right now was a flashback, and she was still uncertain what triggered those; sometimes it was simply being reminded the incident had happened, others at the mention of Psallo or Maelibi or if she saw something similar to one, a rare time she had been held at knife-point by Anna before she got a hold of herself... ... or when she had been in Psallo's actual presence again.
Why was she thinking about all of this now? She shook her head, trying to think about the present. Unknown suspect, Force-user, Makashi, somewhat short, had a weird lightsaber with a synthetic crystal... She had to focus on all this. They had supposedly killed some criminals, something her daddy thought was strange because it would have looked even worse on Andros if they had been civilians instead. Morgan wondered that herself, maybe they were trying to go for something with a target because it would make more sense for a Vice Governor to lose their cool over criminals than innocents? Whatever the true culprits had planned, it seemed especially elaborate, especially if they were trying to pin something on Andros' ambiguous alignment—* Wait! *She hadn't realized she had slammed her hands on the table and shot up straight, emerald green eyes widened as she looked between the Masters, then at Atlantis, who would more likely know the answer to her thought, if anyone did.* Do they know? That Andros is dark I mean! I mean, if they didn't know and Andros wasn't dark, he wouldn't have any problem telling people he wasn't a darksider, and if people investigated him, that would help his case! Whoever did it had to know Andros was dark! Somehow... *There had to be some logic to her thoughts; she hoped she hadn't come up with something completely off-the-wall that would make her look silly, but it seemed to her like whoever did this had to know Andros personally, or at least enough to receive that tidbit, and be able to act on it. But wait, that implication... Her eyes quickly widened again and she shook her head to once again clarify.* Not that I think someone you know and trust did it! Just that someone had to somehow know enough about Andros to... to figure that out... *She blushed, starting to feel a little less confident now. She tried to assure herself that she could still be right, though that would be bad if it indeed turned out to be someone Atlantis knew and trusted. She just felt... incredibly rude for even remotely suggesting to a complete stranger that someone he trusted could be a rat. Or the true culprit. It was equally possible it was someone who somehow had eyes and ears on the group, who had done research and investigation...
Or she could be completely wrong.*

Tchun, my left lekku, coils around my bicep as I listen to Atlantis speak of his brother, and then of what has been learned of the suspected killer; the physical profile one that does little to narrow down the list as the height is common for both males and females, though the description of the lightsaber used offers more details that are marginally more useful. Makashi users are, in general, not unlike dejarik players; each move carefully planned while affording a degree of flexibility in terms of strategy that other forms do not, by nature, have room for; one's chosen lightsaber form, often times, reflects the user's personality to a degree, and it is not a stretch to assume the killer is not an impetuous sort, rather one that is careful, and methodical. Something to bear in mind at any rate as we endeavor to uncover their identity and thwart their plans. The Rangers and detectives will undoubtedly have thoughts of their own to add to the profile, and so I set the matter aside for now.
Answering Michelle's question about the victims, I shake my head, seeing that I had been unclear when speaking earlier, and explaining, "The identities of the victims is not in question. I apologize if I was unclear. They have been positively identified; but there remains some question as to their involvement in criminal activity. From the reports and statements I've heard, Tok'la Sike, the primary victim, has never been successfully prosecuted for any criminal wrongdoing even though it is believed that he is, or rather was the head of a criminal organization. Lifting a hand and gesturing upwards, I say, Some criminals are careful and clever enough to avoid prosecution, unfortunately, and this Sike appears to have been an example of such a criminal. Your point about the position the situation puts Andros in where coming clean about his past and alignment is valid; any such statement now, either confirming the suspicions and stating he has attempted to reform or trying to deny the suspicions, would seem self-serving at worst, and merely convenient at best. He is damned if he stays silent, and equally damned should he try and set the record straight. A clever trap, unfortunately. Addressing Aerandir's query about why Sike would have been chosen rather than an innocent, I say, The choice of victim was quiet fiendishly clever, actually. What is easier to believe: that a suspected Force user such as Andros believed to adhere to the Darker Side of the Force while having a role that affords him the chance to channel those inclinations towards the greater good would eliminate a criminal too clever to be brought to justice via normal channels? Or that he would strike down an innocent? The former makes the better, more believable tale, as damming as the latter would. No, I think that the killer chose their target with great care; the victims may not have a great deal of sympathy, true, but the perception that the law was set aside will engender fear and suspicion; especially when the fact little is actually known by the public of Andros' past or alignment makes it easy to believe the worst of him in this instance no matter how dedicated a public servant he has proven to be. In fact, that he has been so dedicated could make it all the more easy to believe he might do what has been suggested out of a misguided sense of serving the public by eliminating a criminal too clever to be caught by more conventional means. Turning towards Morgan, I say, You make a good point as well; our killer may well have somehow known of Andros' past, or is at least familiar enough with his public image to know that it would be easy to believe him capable of acting outside the law. At the very least, the killer must have some degree of familiarity with Umgul's political scene; so at a guess I'd say it is likely they are either a resident of Umgul, or acting at the behest of a resident."

"If there is one thing I am very certain about my brother," Atlantis started to say as he looked at Michelle and even Aerandir. "Andros will never come clean about his alignment, at least to the general public. He is the kind of man who doesn't need to justify himself to the people he more or less doesn't care about, I mean sure he is doing things for the general population of this planet, but he is one to think that 'actions speak louder than words', therefore do not expect him to take a stand to explain the whats and whys of what makes him truly him, you know?" Atlantis was quite aware that it was confusing, because not only Andros was the Vice-Governor of this planet, a position he had never really asked for, but had come to that decision to prevent their blasted uncle to try and overtake this planet under his thumb, but Andros also was the man currently in charge for as long as Raan was done with his personal issues.
For the time being, Atlantis stayed his tongue and listened to the ongoing conversation while his mind drifted to and fro to those issues he was mixed in, to the issue that he supposedly was covering up. Atlantis could understand indeed those allegations because he was still the Vice Governor's brother, but as such not only the Mist Order's but also the UPD's integrity were being questioned, but apparently Andros Vyridian was devious enough to control every institutions and make everyone bend to his will, which was far off from the truth. Atlantis would certainly admit that not only he had many secrets, Andros too like everyone else that he knew of personally, at least those that seemed to be attuned to the Force had that knack to withhold many information concerning themselves, concerning several issues but, if there was a least one thing Atlantis was very certain of, it wasn't the people in his trusted circle that would betray Andros' integrity.
Nevertheless, Atlantis soon looked at Morgan when she explained herself, and that actually made him smile, he did not even assume that she was potentially saying a bad thing about the people he actually knew, but just something that actually wasn't far fetched anyways. Although the fact that Andros whenever he actually did show himself to the public seemed to be pissed off, that did not help his brother. "One thing is certain Morgan, like Serrin has just said, the person who really committed those crimes knew that something wasn't sitting right with Andros, he is often quick to anger when something annoys him or when he finds something unjust, he is quick to burst emotionally until he calms down." Whether it was on Andros' own or because he was soothed soon enough, Andros always managed to control himself after a little while.
Then again, that was perhaps mainly due to Andros knowing what was waiting for him if he crossed that proverbial line. "I will admit that Andros is not the fuzziest kind of person to be around, Serrin knows all about that," Atlantis was pretty sure that when she and Andros had first met, perhaps it was tense and perhaps it was a little strenuous, but only when a person stayed around Andros for a moment would they understand how Andros really was, unfortunately the population at large just remained at the forefront. Atlantis was about to go on and even potentially say a few more things, but something stopped him, he frowned and looked momentarily over his shoulder as he placed his hand over his chest. There was nothing, absolutely nothing that seemed to be amiss from what he could factually tell, but to him, deep inside of him, there clearly was something wrong with Crystal, not the threatening kind, of course not, but something wasn't sitting right with him at all, and that caused him to frown. "Excuse me a little moment."
Atlantis furrowed his eyebrows while grabbing his datapad to write an encrypted message to Crystal.

*Serrin's clarification regarding the victims' identities set Aerandir a little more at ease, glad the issue was whether the victims were actually proven to be involved in crime, rather than whether the bodies actually belonged to said people. Death was death, but as long as they had identities and a lead, that would work out better in the long run. Aerandir almost cringed at the thought of the idea that the condition of someone's death could make something "better," but he quite skillfully resisted it.
Serrin then addressed Michelle's concerns of Andros "coming clean," noting it as another "clever trap" by the culprits, and that Andros was indeed in a tough position regardless. Atlantis then proceeded to give more insight on Andros: That he would never reveal that information to begin with, at least not to the public, feeling he didn't need to justify himself and that actions spoke louder than words. Ambar too had felt a similar way, though hadn't kept his alignment a secret; not that he really could, but he chose not to avoid that issue if it came up. So again, the two pairs of brothers had a bit of a similarity between them... a bit differently perhaps, in this situation. Aerandir, though, only nodded.* Fair enough. *Serrin then explained her perspective on the victim choice being rather clever, rather than just random civilians; it would be more believable if the victims were actual potential threats to the government and the city, rather than just random people. He should have considered that; it seemed quite obvious to him now that Serrin laid it out before him. He clicked his tongue and tapped his fist against his forehead in self-disapproval, then lowered it.* Of course... *And that was when Morgan spoke, slamming her hands down on the desk like she'd pieced together the perfect defense; he'd half-expected her to point dramatically but instead she only presented her own viewpoint: That whoever the culprits were, they had to somehow have had knowledge of Andros' past and alignment. Well, Aerandir certainly hadn't considered that angle either; his eyebrows raised and he gave Morgan an approving nod and smile, once again glad she was speaking up in this discussion and even presenting a compelling case. One she seemed to lose steam in at the end, so he gave her an encouraging smile.
Serrin answered this, noting it was a good point she had made, then suggested that it was true that the killer had to be familiar with Andros' ways in some sense, whether personally, through someone else, or simply via study; something Atlantis reinforced through the notion that Andros was in fact a little quick to anger, and not the "fuzziest person" to be around. Aerandir steepled his fingers over his mouth, humming thoughtfully for a moment, then spoke.* Makes me wonder if he has has some kind of past ties. Maybe a former colleague when he was more... dark, unless that didn't involve outside influence. There must be some way of tracing a digital footprint, if that method was used, or monitoring activity... *He looked up before he continued; much like Morgan, he hated to insinuate that someone close to the family could potentially be a mole or that they should be monitored, but all options had to be considered until they had reasonable proof to cut that line of thought, or if another particular tree bore more fruit. However, Atlantis seemed distracted by something and asked for a brief bit of excuse, taking out his datapad. Aerandir remained quiet for now.*

*Morgan too felt relief that the state of the bodies wasn't gruesome, just that Master Roma wasn't certain if the victims had actually been proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that they were in fact criminals. Morgan made a point to remember the victim's name—Tok'la Sike—for whatever reason, unsure how important it would be later, but she wanted to commit to memory and hopefully be useful down the line.
But the "trap" for Andros, to be unable to reveal the truth about his alignment without some sort of repercussion... all this did was reinforce Morgan's idea that whoever it was had to know something... Though Atlantis was sure that Andros would never come clean about it himself, so perhaps not a trap? Or at least not as big of one as the culprits would have liked... And she supposed it made sense that people would more believe that the Vice Governor would take out an actual criminal rather than hapless citizens...
And finally, the point she had brought up was addressed: Whether or not the culprit knew Andros, or someone in the family. She felt a little better with the smiles from both her daddy and Atlantis, as well as Master Roma telling her it was a good point; it was good that her suggestion was being taken seriously, and perhaps it wasn't a total wash after all. Master Roma concluded that the culprit indeed had to have been either a resident of Umgul, or working for a resident.
Atlantis then addressed Morgan directly, and she looked him in the eye as he explained that Andros wasn't the "fuzziest person," which could lead someone to think there was something off with him. She nodded then looked down, only to notice a curled-up Lokay there in her lap, taking his post-meal nap. She briefly smiled and automatically stroked his scales gently before looking back up, only to notice Atlantis frowning and looking away with a hand to his chest.
That gesture... it was quite similar to Morgan's own whenever she felt her scars burn, though without a pained expression, and the palm was open instead of clutching. Morgan frowned concernedly and tilted her head to the side, watching him. She couldn't really pick up on anything conclusive from him emotionally, only a bit of concern. Did something happen? Was it relevant to what they were talking about now?* Atlantis, are you okay? *The words left her mouth before she realized it, and she wondered if she should have said them; it could have been private, and she didn't mean to appear as though she were prying, but if it was, well, he'd just say so, and that'd be okay. She just wanted to make sure nothing was wrong...*

Unable to entirely conceal the faint note of distaste I feel when Atlantis, perhaps not expressing himself as clearly as he intends, describes Andros' attitude where the importance of making his past and alignment public knowledge, I nod to convey that I understand the gist of what he has said; in my estimation Andros is not quite as callous as Atlantis' description would suggest, and I can certainly understand a desire to be judged on the merits of one's actions above all else. It may only be that having been raised by the Jedi I find the disregard for openness and lack of concern for others that Atlantis' words suggested utterly alien; though understanding and accepting that the Jedi of the Mist Order do not place a similar value on openness and seem to guard to their thoughts as often as not will undoubtedly make working with them easier.
Inclining my head towards Aerandir to acknowledge that his question about whether or not Andros might have associates or enemies from his past that might bear consideration as possible candidates for suspects, I am about to ask Atlantis about the possibility in case Aerandir's somewhat musing aloud tone was not direct enough when Atlantis appears disturbed for a moment before sending a message on his datapad. After Morgan asks Atlantis whether or not he is alright, I give Atlantis a concerned frown without questioning him since I know by now he would explain matters if he wanted them to be known, and take a guess as to what might have disturbed Atlantis before suggesting, "Why don't we call it a night? Aerandir and I can get everyone settled in now that you've given us the necessary access and, I tap my own datapad laying on the table, a floorplan. I'm sure you're tired, and our speculation is bound to be more productive once we've had the chance to speak with the other investigators."
I am about to continue in a similar vein, though I doubt it will take a great deal of convincing for Atlantis to take his leave, when my datapad pings. Arching the thin ridge of muscle over my right eye inquisitively, I slide the datapad closer as I say in a mildly amused tone, "It seems it's my turn to ask to be excused for a moment. After reading the message, informing me that Knight Shadolen, who has been in a coma here on Umgul since last I was here on the world, appears to be emerging from that coma at long last, I can feel myself smiling despite all else going on, so welcome is the news of the change in Knight Shadolen's condition, as I tell Atlantis, It appears I'll be able to drop you off. Looking from Atlantis to the others to include them, I explain, A Jedi Knight from the academy on Corellia, who has been in a coma since crash landing here on Umgul some time ago, has begun to come out of his coma. I should be there in case he does regain consciousness," I say, standing and waiting to see if Atlantis would prefer to travel alone or allow me to drop him off on my way into the city.

"Huh?" Looking up at Morgan with a faint sheepish smile, Atlantis had to admit the concern she was exhibiting was touching, and that caused him to take a deep breath before nodding a few times. "It's my girlfriend, she seemed... Atlantis nibbled his lower lip and shrugged slightly. "I don't know, but all I know is that whenever she goes through an emotional distress, I somewhat feel it?" Atlantis took a deep breath and looked at Aerandir remembering that thing he had asked earlier, even though Serrin suggested that they called it a night.
First things first.
"There is someone, but he has been flagged from coming here planetside and before you ask that perhaps it is the man of Andros' past, it's not Lincoln Baltzersen's modus operandi." Atlantis would know for having briefly dealt with the man back then and mainly on Coruscant. Lincoln wouldn't even try to attack directly Andros, instead he'd go through other venues, and the man wasn't interested in any political scheme, but Atlantis had to admit that probably it was worth considering for it had been a while since he heard about the man except that one time...
Briefly rubbing the root of his nose, he heard his datapad pinging expecting that it was a message from Crystal but instead he noticed that it was Franz who had sent him a message, and then there was another ping, this time from Serrin, he looked at her. He had heard her indeed quite loud and clear a moment ago, when she stated that he probably was tired, that was a given fact, and that perhaps indeed their encounter with the investigators was going to be fruitful for all of them indeed.
Alas first things first, he looked at the Calmcacil family and smiled briefly again. "So Zane has awaken, that's good news..." Atlantis smiled warmly truly glad for that fact as indeed the man had crash landed a while ago here and he had been worried about the man ever since he had been admitted in FMC but then again, it seemed like there wasn't much he or anyone else could have done for the man but just wait. It felt like as far as comas went, it was somewhat that ongoing trend here, but Atlantis digressed and he looked at Serrin with grateful smile. "You should go Serrin, I'll just finish a few things here, and I'll make my way back to her on foot." Atlantis didn't want to be a nuisance, already this whole day was just stupid for him and actually he more or less preferred to drag his arrival back at the lakehouse for reasons that he knew he'd have to explain a lot of things, but if he could avoid that tonight and do that hopefully tomorrow or another day, he'd prefer that.
Either way, he looked at Aerandir, Michelle and Morgan with a faint smile. "Before I go, is there anything you might need, some necessities or anything else?" Already Atlantis began to gather those empty plates to put those in the kitchen and even wash them perhaps but right now he was just creating a pile to clear those away.

*It didn't surprise Aerandir that Morgan was the one who would ask Atlantis what may have been wrong; the girl was very empathic, after all, and very attuned to and concerned about the feelings of those around her. He smiled a little at her, then looked at Atlantis when he explained that it he'd felt some sort of "emotional distress" regarding his girlfriend. Clearly they were quite close, and Aerandir could relate, but he only nodded, deciding not to ask further; it was likely personal, and he made sure to catch Morgan's eye and give her a look so that she too would know not to pursue the subject further.
Serrin then suggested they call it a night—most likely due to said distress Atlantis felt—noting that they could settle in just fine now and that their investigation would bear more fruit after a rest and a meeting with the investigators. Atlantis made one last note, naming one Lincoln Baltzersen, who was not a likely suspect but regardless a possible link. Aerandir committed the name to memory and nodded, letting the subject conclude for now as Atlantis checked his datapad for a message. Serrin herself had also done the same, and Aerandir wondered with a bit of amusement when he too would get a message.
Serrin announced the contents of her own message first, announcing she would be able to drop Atlantis off back home; apparently a Jedi Knight from Corellia—named Zane, according to Atlantis—had crash landed some time ago on Umgul and was recovering from a coma was beginning to awaken. Aerandir's eyebrows raised and Michelle too looked surprised, but mostly they were pleased that he had recovered; the details surrounding the crash landing could wait.
Atlantis then suggested Serrin go on ahead and that he'd finish a few things here first, then asked the Calmcacil family if there was anything they might need. Aerandir looked at Morgan, then Michelle, who shrugged. He looked back up at Atlantis and shook his head.* I think we'll be good. Well, one question I suppose: What rooms specifically will we be staying in? *He glanced at the plates on the table as well, then looked back up at Atlantis.* And what do you want us to do about these dishes? *The last thing he wanted to do was appear a rude guest. As far as the lodging, he knew he had been given access to a fair amount of the Academy, but that didn't mean lodging was predetermined. And he didn't want to accidentally find himself in someone else's room by mistake either...*

*Atlantis almost seemed faintly surprised after Morgan had asked what was wrong, but he only smiled at her and mentioned something about her girlfriend being in some sort of emotional distress. She sat up a little, her emerald eyes searched his expression for some kind of clue as to whether that was good or bad, and she was even considering asking further, but she felt a slight tug in the Force from her daddy and she saw him giving a look, suggesting she not pursue the topic. She nodded reluctantly, though knew herself she might have already asked too much.
Master Roma suggested calling it a night, after which Atlantis first discussing one potential—though unlikely—culprit. Both of them received messages, though Master Roma was the only one to announce the contents of her own: A Knight from Corellia, who'd apparently been in a coma from a crash landing, was awakening. Morgan's eyes widened; a coma?! Who? How? Why? Well, the "how" and "why" were already answered via the crash landing, and Atlantis partially answered the "who" with the name "Zane." Sounded somewhat familiar... She wanted to ask more, but she didn't want to pry too much right now. Instead, she consigned herself to a small few words.* I hope he's okay... *Sounded like Master Roma was going to have her hands full, what with this news as well as the framing of the Vice Governor to investigate.
It seemed they were all ready to move on and disperse for the night, her daddy asking only where specifically they would be staying. Then he asked about the dishes, which Morgan looked around at; she had half a mind to take them to the kitchen herself, but she wouldn't be entirely sure how to wash them or where to put them afterward, so she left it be and would let Atlantis answer that question. Morgan herself had no questions, so she remained silent.*

I nod, a mildly perplexed frown on my face, when Atlantis explains that he would prefer to make his way to Crystal's home on foot; it seems an odd choice, but I do not question it. Filing the name of the individual from Andros' past away when Atlantis explains that there is one individual from Andros' past that might be of interest were the method of attack different, I smile when Morgan expresses her hopes that Zane is alright, telling her, "I shall let him know should he wake that he has been in your thoughts. Looking from Morgan to Aerandir and Michelle, I say, I'll be back in the morning to see that we all get to the precinct in time to meet with the Rangers and Detectives. Bowing at the waist, I rise, resting a hand on Atlantis's forearm to tell him quietly, I am sure that Crystal will be fine; she's quite strong, as I'm sure you're well aware. If, however, there is anything I can do for her, please let her know that she needs only ask. I smile, telling him, The same goes for you as well. Looking back towards Aerandir and his family to include them in my farewell, I say, May Ashla guard and guide you all," and then begin to make my way from the dining hall after our farewells are complete.
Once outside, I send a brief holonet message to Master Grynt on Corellia - making her aware of the change in Zane's condition - as I head for the airspeeder, and then begin the journey back into the city and towards the Medcenter.

Truth be told, Atlantis had been quite touched by Morgan's concern, if he had been asked what was wrong besides the fact that he could only feel some emotional distress, Atlantis wouldn't have a clue on how to answer that question. There was some many subjects about Crystal Kayne he had not been privy to, which he perfectly accepted, after all if they were all, by some random twisted sense, going to go on school grounds, they'd all blame one another about not sharing enough, about not speaking enough about matters that involved them personally. Atlantis was no stranger to that, there were things about him that he preferred to never ever speak about and despite the fact that some might have been aware of that, they wouldn't violate the privacy of a person.
It was how they operated by, whether they knew or not, it wasn't their story to tell especially when it did not concern them directly. It might have been surprising, it might have been peculiar especially with their calling, but Atlantis was known to be unorthodox, he was known to bend rules whenever necessary and he wouldn't hesitate to put himself, and only himself in a tight spot if and when it was necessary depending on the circumstances. He looked over at Serrin when she placed her hand on his forearm and he nodded knowing that she was right, of course Crystal was strong that was undeniable, but still Atlantis could not help but to worry about his girlfriend for other things that he might have come aware of because he had been a witness of those things. Atlantis only smiled gratefully when Serrin extended her words to him and nodded faintly before watching her go to tend to Zane who had finally woken up.
Right, Atlantis should show the family the guests quarters. "I'll show you three where you can stay for as long as you will be here." Said Atlantis with a knowing smile as he stood up and looked at the dishes, he shook his head to let Aerandir that it wasn't necessary at all, Atlantis just picked up the dishes and requested for a moment so that he could take all of these to the kitchen and into the sink for now, he guessed that either he would take care of that tomorrow or one of the cleaning droids would. Emerging back out to the dining hall, Atlantis grinned warmly and asked them to follow him.
"There is an area here only for the guests, there are a few rooms for you to settle in, either all of you three together, or just individually. That is up to you, each rooms are filled with ever necessities you will be needing for the duration of your stay, and if you do need anything else, just let me know, I will make sure that you do get it as soon as possible." He informed them with a warm smile before finally showing to them the wing where the guest(s) quarters was located. "This is you." Atlantis gestured to them, the consoles were also present there for access and security so that it was only them that could access their own room or rooms.

*When Master Roma mentioned that she'd let Zane know he had been in her thoughts, Morgan smiled, albeit confusedly... She didn't really know Zane, at least, she didn't think so, and she was pretty sure he didn't know her, so if Master Roma told him that... well, wouldn't that just sound weird? That some little girl he didn't know was thinking about him? Like she had a crush or something... Which she didn't! Why did she even think that?! It wasn't like she knew what he even looked like!
She blushed and grimaced, sinking a little in her seat. She looked up only when Master Roma addressed them as a whole again, saying she would be back in the morning so they could go to the precinct together, as well that they could just ask her if there was anything she could do for them. Morgan smiled, her cheeks returning to their normal bronze as she sat up again. She wanted to get up and bow to Master Roma, but what with Lokay still asleep in her lap, she could only smile and wave.* Bye Master Roma! Goodnight! *As far as the sleeping tailring went... well, she had to get him to move anyway so that they could leave, so why hadn't she just nudged him awake so she could bow? Too late now... but she still gently coaxed him awake with her fingers and a gentle, cooing voice. He took a moment to uncurl, blink up at her, then make an affectionate noise before climbing back up onto her shoulder, allowing her to stand and wait, ready to see their new quarters.*

*Aerandir looked at his daughter when she said she hoped Zane was okay, causing him to smile at her. Serrin said that she would pass along the message, something Morgan seemed a little confused and eventually embarrassed at. Why would she feel embarrassed about that? Confused, perhaps, if the two—Zane and Morgan that was—didn't know each other, but embarrassed... he'd let it go, but still he had an amused smile at her flustered state.
He returned his attention to Serrin when she said that she would be back in the morning, and if there was anything she could do for any of them, all they had to do was ask. When she was prepared to leave, Aerandir stood, as well as Michelle, and both gave her a bow of farewell.* Force be with you. See you in the morning. *Morgan, meanwhile, remained perched in her seat, settling for a wave, most likely due to Lokay's occupation of her lap. Once Serrin had left, however, Morgan had woken the tailring and had him return to her shoulder so that she could stand, prepared to leave as well. Atlantis offered to show them to where they could stay, after first indicating that they didn't need to bother with the dishes, and in fact took care of those himself. After he returned, he began to lead them to the guest quarters, the Calmcacil family following behind him...*

Setting the airspeeder down outside of the academy, I close my eyes and rest my head against the neckrest after my lekku swish over my shoulders to hang over my chest to avoid being crushed. Handling the speeder while maintaining my doppleganger back at the medcenter had proven more difficult and taxing than anticipated even though I have, thanks in part to the time my self-imposed exile on Bimmisaarai afforded for me to hone the skill, achieved a strong grasp and command of the ability. Keeping my perceptions separate from my dopplegangers when focusing on that alone is one thing, and doing so while engaged in other activities with demands of their own is, naturally, another thing entirely. Once I'm sure that nothing at the medcenter needs my full attention for the moment, I step from the airspeeder and make my way into the residential building, heading to the dining hall to wait for Aerandir and his family there. It is early yet, early enough that I should be able to have a cup of tea before we all set out for the precinct to meet with the Rangers and detectives who have been conducting the investigation into the murders Andros has been falsely accused of.
After brewing a cup of Naris-bud tea, I take the mug to the large window looking out onto the courtyard and gardens, looking out at the view without truly seeing it while sipping the tea while waiting for the others to arrive, my attention primarily on keeping my perceptions distinct from those of my doppleganger; it will be a relief when Master Grynt arrives to relieve me, or my doppleganger, and the need to be in two places at once is removed.

*It had been the first time in a while that Aerandir had felt fully rested in the morning. He certainly missed his infant daughter, but the rest was definitely helpful and would be conducive to a proper investigation. That didn't stop him, however, from making a brief call to home in the morning, talking with his wife and seeing his baby girl smile at him and seem excited to see him. He almost hated the fact that he had to be so many planets away from her, as Force-sensitive infants would feel that separation all the more easily, but in a way, it was a very early childhood lesson: Not to get too attached.
Not that he intended to perform any of the rigorous and downright cruel training techniques the old Jedi Order used on infant trainees.
After getting dressed and taking care of morning hygiene, the small trio was on their way to the dining hall for breakfast. Serrin was already there, seemingly in a deeper focus than normal; perhaps she was preparing for the meeting? Regardless, Aerandir met with the serving droids first, requesting a simple breakfast meal to start with, before approaching the Twi'lek at the window.*
"Good morning, Serrin," *he greeted, inclining his head toward her, Michelle doing the same. He smiled as he too looked out the window, taking in the courtyard. A night and morning of cleared vision certainly wouldn't help when it came time to head back out into the mists... he shook his head of that thought and chuckled.* "It feels good to have a full night's rest for once. I don't know if you knew, I didn't really announce it, but a few months ago, my daughter Lucina was welcomed into the galaxy. Love her to bits but... my sleep has been sacrificed a little." *When Michelle giggled softly, he playfully smacked in her direction without making contact.* "Hush you."

*Oddly, it had been Morgan who hadn't had the easiest time of falling asleep. Perhaps it was the separation from her mother's embrace, the soothing envelopment of the world's touch that eased her to sleep many a night. It wasn't that she had been up all night tossing and turning, but she certainly couldn't just fall right to sleep. It took several shifts of position and even a calming technique before she finally found herself resting. Perhaps she had just been overreacting and should have just waited for sleep to come on naturally, but she was so unused to sleeping off of Felucia...
Fortunately, she still felt rested when she awoke, but not as full as energy as usual; obviously, seeing as she wasn't sharing energy with the planet she stood upon now.
After dressing and brushing her hair once more, she was ready for breakfast. As was Lokay. She wanted to wait and simply give him more bacon at the dining hall, but she knew that wasn't healthy for him, so she gave him a few food cubes to start with; perhaps a side of bacon for breakfast wouldn't hurt either.
Master Roma was there, and she was excited to go see her. After first ordering breakfast from the serving droid, of course. She herself asked for some eggs, toast, butter, ketchup, and bacon, for she intended to start the day off the right way: With a sandwich. And a little extra bacon for Lokay of course, who, despite already being fed some, was perking up excitedly at all this talk of bacon.
Giggling, she waited until her daddy finished speaking before giving her own polite bow.* "Good morning, Master Roma! Did you sleep well?"

Turning from the window when Aerandir greets me I see at first not him but what I would see were I at the medcenter instead of my doppleganger, momentarily caught in its perceptions rather than my own. Shaking my head and focusing to separate what I see with my eyes from that which I see with those of my doppleganger, I smile and say, "Good morning Aerandir, and then squat down after inclining my head in a bow to Michelle in answer to that she had offered me, and tell Morgan, Good morning to you as well Morgan. Tilting my head to the side, my right lekku swishing to coil around the outside of my hip, I answer Morgan's question about how I slept honestly, I slept somewhat fitfully, and explain, I dozed while at the bedside of the Jedi Knight I spoke of last evening. Waving a hand, I smile and say, But I am used to not getting much sleep at times," which is true; my time on Bimisaarai and all that I experienced there having left me something of an insomniac.
Rising and listening to Aerandir's news, I smile when he has relayed it, happy for him and able to see how much he cares for the young daughter he has needed to leave for a time in order to come here. "Congratulations, I tell Aerandir, Hopefully you will be able to return to your Lucina soon. I purse my lips as though in thought, then joke, Well, perhaps after you've had just a little while longer to enjoy uninterrupted sleep anyway."

*Apparently Serrin had slept in the hospital room where the Jedi Knight mentioned the night before, Zane, was recovering. Perhaps Aerandir had spoken too soon then, almost worrying his slight enthusiasm over getting a full night's rest sounded boastful. Certainly that was not the intent, but he assured himself Serrin wouldn't take it that way.
When congratulated upon his daughter's birth, he smiled and inclined his head in thanks, then chuckled after the joke about having a few more nights of uninterrupted sleep. He shook his head and replied,* "It's good. Sure, I like to sleep, I'm not sure who doesn't, but I do miss her. She's lively, full of energy, endlessly curious..." *Uh oh, he was doing the "parent" thing, beginning to ramble on about his infant. He quickly shook his head and waved it off.* "Sorry. Head in the game. There's an investigation to deal with soon."
*It hadn't taken long for the server droids to prepare their morning meals, so when they appeared, Aerandir and Michelle took a seat at a nearby table, inviting Serrin to join them if she so chose. Aerandir took one bite, chewed it thoughtfully for a moment as he looked at the wall, then swallowed it and sighed.* "'When it rains, it pours,' as they say." *He returned his gaze to Serrin, looking a little more grim.* "My old master, who recently took up residence on Belkadan, contacted me last night. I'm not sure if you know of redcrested cougars, but they're a native species on Belkadan, thought extinct... apparently not. They've reappeared in high numbers, attacking the population. I told him I'd send for word, and already have. I'll need to keep tabs on that. I'd go myself, but I'm already committed to the investigation."
*Come to think on it, it was almost a wonder he'd slept so well with this information so recent on the mind. Perhaps he was simply skilled at putting things out of his mind... He glanced at Michelle, who was watching him with some concern, and perhaps longing; he knew how much she loved the planet that had basically become her home, and how much she wanted to be able to be there to defend it. He gave her a reassuring smile and put a hand on her shoulder, reaching out to her in his thoughts,* << You've been there to defend it many times before, against greater threats. I'm sure you won't mind leaving animal control to someone else. >>
*She looked him in the eyes a moment, studying, before finally nodding and returning to her breakfast. There were bigger concerns for the two of them right now...*

*Morgan tilted her head curiously at Master Roma's answer of sleeping "somewhat fitfully," then understood when she explained why; right, of course, the Knight recovering from a coma. Morgan still hoped he was okay... and idly wondered if Master Roma had told him what she said she would tell him last night... Blushing slightly again, she shook that thought away, then looked up curiously when Master Roma mentioned she was used to not getting much sleep... without explanation. Why was that? That sounded like her daddy a little, since, well, the baby, but why would Master Roma not get much sleep... then again, she was also a Jedi Master, so they would already know how to deal with not getting much sleep...
Morgan remained silent, smiling at the conversation about little Lucy and her daddy's sleep opportunities. She missed the baby too, and was glad they got to see her on daddy's datapad in the morning. But now it was time for food, and Lokay was eagerly sniffing the air at the bacon. Giggling, she sat down, handing the tailring his plate of bacon. He eagerly climbed down from her shoulder and onto the table, nibbling at the meat as Morgan enjoyed her own food.
Then her daddy mentioned the situation on Belkadan... Morgan's movements slowed and she watched solemnly. While she had been sleeping peacefully, any number of heinous things could have been happening on the world right now. Though perhaps the same could be said of Umgul right now... She shook her head to herself; she'd already resolved to focus only here, on this world, rather than worry about elsewhere. The Jedi would tend to it. Belkadan had been through much worse; it could stand up against a couple of angry cats...*
