While she had been rounding the Academy, checking on the Initiates and Padawans alike, Mace had assisted some of them, or even gave them some pointers. Naturally, and usually, she was the silent type of all the Councilors of the Mist Order but when she was asked for assistance, she never or rarely denied it. She knew, after all, what was at stake in the grander scale of things but also this allowed her some inner peace, and satisfaction in teaching and passing on the knowledges she had . . . Upon hearing Atlantis’ call, Mace’s expression shifted from being carefree at that moment to instantly being focused, and instantly raising her awareness in the Force, and once again that dread she often used to have come rushing down her spine causing her to lock her jaw and taking a deep breath as she walked over to where she would find Franz only to notice him with a droid standing by, and the man completely inert as he was sitting down. Well then . . . Trusting the Master Jedi’s process who was sitting down crossed legged before her, Franz showed no signs of being alive so to speak. Knowing that this could not wait at all, she left him be, and rushed towards the Academy’s entrance finding Atlantis there. “Just me, Franz is in hibernation,” Said Mace, before clearing the mists and looking at the speederbikes that Forcias had graciously worked on for them for their use. While the airspeeders were for anyone’s use, the speederbikes were a different matter and they only responded to their biometrics. “Lead the way, I’ll follow, we might as well get in trouble with city officials for not respecting the speed limits . . .” Not that it was a problem for them at all, and probably in the light of what was currently going on, Mace decided to just make small talks, or two just get Atlantis to loosen up, even though she knew that would not be possible as her state of awareness even went up high particularly when she could no longer sense the Zabrak anywhere. . . . That just annoyed her and reminded her again that perhaps she should not have talked or said what she said earlier to Saoirse’s friend. Getting on her speederbike as Atlantis did the same, Mace activated the securities to the Academy as a whole before heading in the direction they needed to go and be . . .

The mists shrouded the Academy, but Vasilisa preferred to stop a few miles away from it as she did not want to set off any alarms or already show their hands without any preparations, which was why she turned to look at the Vulptex and asked him silkily. “Is the one you are possessing aware of what security measures this Academy possesses?
Vasilisa could be brash often times, and determined also but one thing she did know was to never ever underestimate the ones she had come to call the rejects of the Force for wanting to embrace the lightside of it. Where was the fun in that? It was so much better to be bad and do whatever they wanted.
But one could never be too careful, that much she knew, and she didn’t come all the way here to just fail. Still covering her presence in the Force, Vasilisa waited for the answer.

As they stand together and look down upon the mist blanketed forest in which the Mist Order's Academy is currently hidden from view, Dragnea's usurped orange and yellow hued eyes close as (s)he briefly unburies his presence in the Force to focus on his awareness of it's currents and extending his sense of all that are a part of them outwards and towards the academy he and Vasilisa have come to reshape into the birthplace of a restored Mecrosa Order. While the Mist Order's Grandmaster and most trusted companions all carry crystals that conceal their signatures in the Force or have the ability, like Dragnea, to conceal it if they so choose, the Initiates and Padawans residing in the academy lack the training, skill, or crystals to do so. Breathing in deeply as he buries his presence in the Force once more, a smile hidden by the Vulptex mask over the face he has stolen along with the body and mind he has achieved control over, Dragnea remembers Vasilia's words to him shortly before they left the Villa:
Dragnea remembers too his reply to her, that the Mist Order's academy would be where the Mecrosa Order was reborn anew, the students within its walls offering dozens upon dozens of opportunities to free the young slaves of the Light from their chains and teach them of the power that could be theirs if they opened themselves to the Dark Side and took all that it offered.
Turning to face Vasilisa when her question interrupts his contemplation of the possibilities in store for them should they succeed, Dragnea tells her, "This creature was new to the academy, but has seen no sign of any exterior or interior defenses that need concern us. Entry into the academy requires biometric verification, but, Dragnea laughs smugly and lifts a tattooed hand, splaying the fingers, that will not be a problem," and then clenches the hand into a fist as (s)he turns her gaze back to the mists concealing the academy.
Chuckling cruelly as another possibility occurs to him, Dragnea says, "In fact, I have a way to ensure the academy is open to us and undefended by any hidden defenses the Zabrak may not have been made aware of when we arrive. Having mastered the art of using the Force to manipulate or control the minds of others, Dragnea sees no reason he cannot use that skill to wrest control over the minds of one or more Jedi Initiates or Padawans in the academy and have them open the doors for them and even aid them in taking control of the academy once they are inside. As he readies himself for utilizing his skills, which will mean his signature will no longer be concealed as keeping it buried does not allow him to use his command of the Force, Dragnea tells Vasilisa, The two story structure you will see as we near the academy is our way in. Be ready to move when I give the word."
Lifting the Zabrak's arm towards the academy, Dragnea closes his eyes and focuses to send his awareness forth once more, searching for the least guarded minds he can access most easily, and for emotions like anger, jealousy, fear and regret that will make his task even easier. Two minds soon present themselves as ideal candidates, the first a female Dazouri with her rage bottled so tight that Dragnea has little trouble shattering her control and seizing control of her mind as she shifts into her Rage Form, and the second a female Twi'lek who recently learned of the occupation of her homeworld who's sadness and grief make wresting control of her mind from her a relatively easy task. Once their minds are his to do with as he pleases, Dragnea has the Twi'lek open the doors to the academy and disable any automated defenses she knows of while the Dazouri accompanies her to prevent anyone from stopping the Twi'lek from completing her tasks, and tells Vasilisa as he calls on the Force to enable him to burst into a swiftly moving blur of motion towards the academy, "Now!"
Inside the academy's residential building Nadira, in her Rage Form, stalks along beside Gida'racor as the Twi'lek unseals the doors to the academy and shuts down those automated defenses she knows of, if any, as Vasilisa and Dragnea rush forth to seize control of the Mist Order's home . . .

As Dragnea searched for the minds he could control, Vasilisa on her side had wickedly found some fallen corpses around the forest, unidentified hikers perhaps, or whomever that got lost here to raise them from the dead as she was in fact a necromancer too and her powers could be limitless when she commanded for the dead to come back to life and be her pawns.
Another corpse that also was at the Villa that she raised too from the dead as a parting gift from her to Lyov Entin…
Ordering the undead to keep on walking towards the Academy, Vasilisa rushed towards the Academy unaware at the same time that they had in fact triggered a silent alarm that turned all the lights red when the Dazouri and Twi’lek input their biometrics.
Unknown to all of the students, the Academy was outfitted with Force detectors that whenever a Dark Side person approached or whenever one of the students who used their biometrics in the Academy was tainted with the Dark Side of the Force, it would trigger a silent alarm that would automatically activate due to the Academy being under attack and would usher all of the students into safety and at the same time warn all of the Councilors but also a few of their allies attuned to the Force around the city, namely also in the government.
Walking into the Academy and noticing that the interior doors had shut, Vasilisa gritted her teeth and yelled with displeasure seeing the blinking red light and the other students that seemed to be running away, her anger increased before looking at Vladislay.
“They were prepared.” Vasilisa said through gritted teeth as finally the undead she had summoned had finally joined them. “Go in, find all the students here, and kill them all!” There was only a few that she could find and raise from the dead, but at her orders they all charged in.

Also unbeknownst to the academy residents other than the Grandmaster and his most trusted associates, the automated defenses are not the only means the academy has of protecting itself. The AI Gatekeeper from the Jedi holocron Lyov had been given by the Jedi of Corellia had been downloaded into the academy's systems, granted with access to everything from security cameras, blast doors, holoprojectors, temperature and lighting controls to the operation of the ASP-19 Battle Droids used in the training of the academy's Initiates and Padawans - the end result being that the academy was, in a sense, nearly alive due to the all-encompassing control granted to the AI.
Alerted to the impending threat to the academy by the Force detectors incorporated into all of the biometric access panels in the academy to the presence of a Dark Side aligned individual utilizing one of the panels, the AI uses a security camera near to where Nadira covers Gida'racor as the Twi'lek attempts to unseal the academy's doors and deactivate the automated defenses known to the students. Overriding Gida'racor's commands almost as soon as they are entered, the AI then removes Gida and Nadira's access to all academy systems, preventing them from any further attempts at aiding the Dark Side aligned pair of beings the AI, having been made aware of once they came in range of the Force detectors, assumes are responsible for the assault upon the academy and mind control of Nadira and Gida. Accessing security cameras on the academy's exterior, the AI ascertains that one of their foes is none other than Initiate Beirne - while the mask conceals the Zabrak's face and prevents the AI from using facial recognition to arrive at its conclusion, the distinctive tattoos on the Zabrak's arms and her attire, matching what Beirne had last been seen wearing on footage from the interior cameras that is all but instantly reviewed and analyzed, make it a relatively straightforward matter for the AI to conclude Beirne has been compromised - and removes the Zabrak's access to all academy systems as well.
The AI, capable of performing multiple tasks simultaneously, takes action throughout the academy in other places as well; accessing holoprojectors situated in certain areas to project an image of the Jedi Master it was based upon, the holocron having been constructed by the Jedi Master prior to her death. The AI, accessing speakers incorporated into the holoprojectors, calmly directs the academy's Initiates and Padawans throughout the academy's residential building to proceed to the second floor, sealing blast doors behind them and removing any access other than its own to the systems needed to open them to prevent any attempt to use mind control to utilize any more students to reopen them once all of the students have made their way to the second floor. Once the first floor has been vacated, the AI shuts down all lighting on the floor and floods it to the ceiling with the mists normally kept at lower levels so that any additional undead foes that might join the two masked enemies who are, accompanied by several undead minions that made their way into the academy before the doors were sealed behind them, already inside will find themselves also in mist shrouded darkness.
As it is herding the students, removing the security privileges of the compromised students and continuing to monitor developments outside - where it makes note of the arrival of even more undead - and within the academy, the AI brings 20 ASP-19 Battle Droids armed with lightsabers online and deploys 10 to stand guard outside of the blast doors protecting the students on the second floor, with the other 10 advancing on the main entrance to meet the two living attackers and their living and undead minions in battle, the droids instructed to neutralize Saoirse, Nadira and Gida in non-lethal means while the unidentified masked female is to be given neither quarter nor mercy.
While it is taking all of its other actions, the AI accesses a holoprojector near to where Franz sits in a cross-legged position while deep in a meditative trance akin to hibernation, projecting an image of the Jedi Master he should recognize immediately upon seeing as, accessing the speakers in the holoprojector, the AI says in a synthetic approximation of the gentle, calm voice the Jedi Master had when alive, after speaking the words needed to wake Franz from his hibernation, Master Delgrave, if you would be so kind as to move for the entrance, it motions in the direction of the academy's main entrance, I fear there is a matter developing that requires your immediate attention. Clasping it's hands behind it's back, the AI accesses holoprojectors along the corridor leading to their destination to give the illusion of walking beside Franz as he makes his way to the front entrance, filling him in on the attack and the actions it has taken thusfar before asking, Have you any additional instructions for me, Master Delgrave?

As soon as they have gained entrance to the academy, Dragnea can tell that the task he and Vasilisa have appointed themselves with will not be as easy as he had thought based on the knowledge gained from the mind of the body he has possessed. Even before Vasilia announces her belief that the academy had been well prepared for any assault even with its Grandmaster occupied by their compatriots outside of the city, Dragnea see that while students are being ushered quickly to the upper floor, red hued emergency lighting casts a hellish glow over the rooms, and the slams of blast doors sealing off other areas around the academy can be heard like the pounding of war drums. Narrowing the Zabrak's stolen eyes, now a fiery orange color as Dragnea's connection to the Dark Side of the Force courses through the body he has made his own, as he sees a green skinned female Twi'lek in a stairwell guiding students up to the highest level of the residential building and sees the very same Twi'lek ushering more students from a conference room and to the stairs, Dragnea laughs as (s)he realizes one reason the academy has been able to respond so quickly to their attack, "Clever, (s)he mutters, and then turns to Vasilisa and says, Disable any security cameras or holo-projectors we come across, explaining, They have an AI in their systems," clenching a hand into a fist and telekinetically crushing the security camera near to the main entrance.
Turning to look behind them as the doors they and their Zombie minions had entered through slam shut, Dragnea presses the Zabrak's palm to the biometric control pad to try and re-open the doors, not surprised when a honking beep reveals the Zabrak's access has been revoked. Roaring in laughter, Dragnea lifts the Zabrak's arms out to the sides as (s)he calls out loudly even though no one but the AI may hear the sarcastic compliment, "Well played!"
Almost as though in response to his statement, the lights on the lower floor go out and the mists covering the floor begin to rise, only making Dragnea laugh more. "Parlor tricks, Dragnea’s amusement fades as quickly as it had arisen to be replaced by disdainful anger as (s)he tells Vasilisa, Darkness, mists and sealed doors will not stop us, and then repeats the Necromancer’s earlier words as the suggestion for their course of action now with a snarl, Let's go kill them all," as (s)he telepathically commands the Dazouri to hand its lightsaber over.
As (s)he begins advancing towards the stairs leading to the upper floor with the Dazori's lightsaber in hand, Dragnea sees the mist veiled shapes of lightsaber wielding droids advancing in the dark lit only by the glow of their lightsabers as the metallic ringing of their feet grows louder the closer they come, and grins beneath the Vulptex mask covering the possessed Zabrak's face as he telepathically sends Nadira and Gida forth to deal with the droids and tells Vasilisa, "Have your Zombies come with us to the upper level. Once we've dealt with the doors, set them loose on the students, cruelly laughing as he says, Let the Grandmaster return to an army of Zombie students eager to greet him."
As Vasilisa and Dragnea begin ascending the stairs, Nadira in her Rage form and Gida begin tearing into the droids that, Dragnea has no doubt, will not harm the students. Nadira launches her hulking, heavily muscled, shaggy black furred body into the middle of the droids and begins tossing them into walls, crushing their heads or tearing them limb from limb as Gida, her lightsaber a green blur in the misty darkness, acrobatically employing the Ataru form she has been taught to nimbly leap and cartwheel around the droids that are hampered by their instructions to not risk permanently harming them as she slices and dices them. . .

Having be alerted at first by her cousin to get back to the Academy, and then getting another alert from the Academy’s security system itself, Ayla accompanied by Honoros was making their way to the Academy itself before noticing that an airspeeder that contained the three Padawans from the city were making its way here.
“The defense measures of the Academy has been activated, Master Delgrave is inside.” Explained Ayla whom she could not feel unlike before, as he might have been in one of his hibernation trance, but as usual all of them were prepared and had contingencies in place.
Though for this, Ayla closed her eyes and focused on the interior of the Academy and found what she was searching for relatively easily when several were just mindless drones, and two of the individuals were laced with just heinous and abhorrent thoughts.
“Honoros, there is a slight chance that zombies pop up, I need you and the Padawans to protect me while I try to wrestle Saoirse’s mind out from the Vulptex mask spirit.” Ayla mentioned to the tall General, not that they were in in the capacity of Kiffu Guardians, but he had been the one she was with when she got the alert and asked for his assistance too.
“Be mindful of your surroundings and trust one another.”
Finding a relatively flat surface on the ground, Ayla sat down and closed her eyes to focus while calling the Force on her side, to enable her to reach the deepest part of the Zabrak’s mind where her real self was locked away while Dragnea freely controlled her body and soul . . .
Saoirse, open your eyes please . . .
In whatever potential darkened room, or setting Saoirse was in, Ayla focused on that spark that belonged to the Zabrak.

Franz, who in every sense of the way, was tired as he now barely slept, had found some means to comfort himself in the Force. Perhaps his hibernation trances wouldn't do him any good in the end, but he sure always tried to heal his spirits. Perhaps this was the wrong time to do this as he had heard previously after he had gone his separate from the other Masters that Aidan had enlisted the help of Lyov about that particular assignment he had entrusted his Padawan.
Now... Hearing those spoken words to bring him back from his trance, Franz's eyes opened widely and actually he felt rejuvenated in a sense and found himself face to face with that familiar Twi'lek, or at least the AI that they had incorporated into the Academy's mainframe. Standing up from his sitting position and nodding understanding her instruction, Franz raised his awareness into the Force to expand his senses. Walking quickly towards the entrance, Franz shook his head looking at the AI, "Keep them safe, please I'll try to do some damage control, I believe that Ayla is already outside." Franz looked at the figures walking up the stairs, knowing that one of them is Saoirse who was possessed, Franz got down on his knee and placed both of his hands on the ground concentrating on the wildlife under the Academy's floor, and particularly the staircase to quickly make trees and vines grow right before the two darksiders that were walking up making sure to seal that entry way leading fully to the second floor with thick and robust trees. He knew that wouldn't stop them at all, but he could stall them.
Whatever one of the Vos cousin was doing outside, he sure hope that this would end the madness that had befallen the Academy, taking his lightsaber and seeing those undead corpses, Franz shuddered in disgust by the simple odor as he sliced through those zombies easily. There was no doubt that they were more outside but Franz kept being mindful and kept his thoughts to himself as once again he deactivated his lightsaber and cloak himself into the Force hoping to find a way to at least separate the two masked individuals from one another but also keeping them away from Initiates and Padawans alike...

Whichever Zombies that got through the entrance, Vasilisa knew that those were the only ones they could count on now, and hopefully more corpse would reveal themselves as they carry forward, but all of a sudden she felt a presence that she had not felt before and turned to look behind her as she felt the grounds tremble beneath them, all of a sudden trees, branches, even vines started to block their way too as the padawans handled the droids, Vasilisa turned to look and noticed that a blue hue was slicing through in the darkness.
“AARGHHHHHHHH!” Vasilisa yelled out in pure annoyance, what she had thought that this would just be easy, it was going all wrong. Looking at the Twi’lek that was controlled by Dragnea, Vasilisa thought of something sinister.
“What if…” Before she could go on, she felt another presence that was also strong in the lightside of the Force just like the one who was here not so long ago but has disappeared now. Vasilisa snarled and commanded the zombies outside of the Academy to attack anyone and everyone that was in their eyesight.
“They are cleverer than what I would have expected…” Literally at a loss for words, it was then and there that she had felt Nerses and Jirair falling far away from here, and Lyov was still of this world. “Nerses and Jirair failed!”
And she truly had no idea what was coming next with the other Kiffar outside of the Academy and was also protected against the zombie hoards.

Academy Grounds
Aidan, Veda and Bria, looking worried and yet determined when Ayla informs them that the academy's defensive measures have been activated, with Master Delgrave still inside with the attackers, move forward and into a semi-circular formation to protect her as she asks.
"Zombies? Bria asks Aidan apprehensively as she brings her emerald colored lightsaber to life and adopts a ready stance while looking into the mists ahead, What do you want me to think of?"
Aidan, pursing his lips in thought, asks, "Have you ever seen a Trinitaur?"
"Um, guys, Veda says nervously as Bria asks what a Trinitaur is just as several decaying undead emerge from the mists and start rushing towards them, If you're going to think of something, she ignites her viridescent lightsaber and slashes at the chest of a zombie that reaches for her, think of it faster please!"
Aidan, fluttering his wings to fly over the heads of a trio of undead that rush out of the mists and, teeth gnashing as they grope for him, ignites his flaxen hued lightsaber and beheads two of the undead before cutting the third in half as it turns around to jump up and try to grab him, asks Bria anxiously, "How about an Acklay?"
Bria, dodging beneath the arms of a zombie that tries to trap her in a deadly embrace while opening it's mouth wide to bite into her shoulder, kicks its feet out from under it before stabbing her lightsaber down into its head, asks, "Is that the thing with the wings?"
As Aidan and Bria severe limbs and heads from the zombies while trying to find a creature both know, Veda starts calling out random creature names to try and help them as she hacks and slashes at the zombies trying to get past her to Ayla, the trio managing to hold their ground and keep Ayla safe from harm despite not finding a creature for Aidan to shape-shift into . . .
Entrance Hall
The AI heart and soul of the academy, bowing when Master Delgrave instructs it to continue keeping the students on the second floor safe, assesses the footage from the security cameras in the stairwell and in the hall to determine what other measures it can take to do as asked.
Gida and Nadira have destroyed nearly all 10 of the ASP-19s it had sent to the entrance so thoroughly and efficiently that the AI concludes the utility of dispatching more against them is nil, and so instead begins releasing knockout gas into the mists filling the lower level to render the mind controlled Dazouri and Twi'lek unconscious before they turn their attention to Master Delgrave. Gesturing towards a fire fighting station on the wall beside Master Delgrave, the AI opens it as it tells Franz, I am releasing knockout gas into the mists, Master Delgrave, and suggest that you put on one of the rebreathers from the fire suppression station post haste.
As trees and vines erupt from the stairwell to bar the Mecrosa necromancer and her companion from advancing further towards the doors protecting the students, the AI sends the 10 ASP-19s to attack Dragnea and Vasilisa while knockout gas begins pouring from vents in the ceiling to mix into the mists and possibly knock out Dragnea and Vasilisa. 5 of the ASP-19 droids attack Dragnea while the others focus their efforts on Vasilisa. . .

Dragnea scowls beneath the Vulptex mask as Vasilia suggests that they have underestimated their foes, using the Twi'lek's lightsaber to cut a vine that is creeping towards the Zabrak's ankle, stepping aside as a massive tree bursts through the stairs almost beneath the Zabrak's feet. "We are too close to our goal to be stopped by plant life, Dragnea seethes as (s)he brings the lightsaber into a two handed grip to chop through a tree that has sprung up in their path, We shall succeed where Jirair and Nerses have failed!" Unaware of the gas that has been released into the mists, the air filters in the Vulptex mask protecting the Zabrak's body from it, Dragnea telepathically instructs the Dazouri and Twi'lek to hunt down the presence (s)he had sensed when the vines and trees blocking the stairwell had first begun to appear, continuing to cut a path through the plantlife as (s)he continues up the stairs to steadily progress closer and closer to the doors sealing the students on the second floor.
Gida, stumbling as the gas mingling with the mists begins to take effect, manages to take only a few steps in the direction Franz had been briefly sensed earlier before she succumbs to the knock out gas and collapses to the ground. Nadira, sniffing the air for Franz's scent, howls in triumph as she catches his scent and begins charging towards him even as her eyes begin to feel heavy. The massive, hulking, shaggy black furred Dazouri leaps towards Franz with a horrifying roar that would turn the bowels of most sentient beings confronted with the image of her hurtling through the air directly at them into liquid, her wickedly curved claw-tipped hands outstretched to rend him to pieces. Luckily for Franz, the gas takes effect as Nadira is nearly on him, resulting in her passing out so that instead of a hulking, enraged thousand pound beast slamming into him with claws slashing and jaws gnashing, the Jedi is hit by forty pounds of unconscious cuteness as, back in her Rest Form, Nadira bounces harmlessly off his chest and drops to the floor at his feet.
Dragnea is so focused on first cutting back vines and trees and then the training droids that attack just as (s)he has begun to think (s)he and Vasilisa will reach the doors at the top of the stairs that (s)he does not sense the presence that stealthily slips into the mind of the Zabrak.
Ayla and the Room at the End of the Tunnel
I.
Arrival The tunnel that Dragnea dug to the core of Saoirse's consciousness is still there for Ayla to follow since it can't be closed not without severing all of the connections between the parasite and its host, and Ayla just has to watch her step as she advances through the tunnel that starts becoming more and more like some kind of animal den fox den all bleached bones and darkness and inky black mists hanging in the air
Ayla has to watch her step for the webs just like spider webs only huge, gargantuan, nightmare big all over the place all over the dusty bone strewn floor the walls and the wires connecting host to parasite and when she gets to the doors leading to the core they are held open by webs spider webs
the are boxes boxes everywhere stacked boxes and boxes piled high all over the floor in the room beyond the doors and there are more wires and webs on the walls and on the floors and on the statue in the center of the room the statue of Saoirse (or maybe it is Saioirse just frozen or maybe the aspect of her that has been frozen) and Dragnea standing behind her with his hands on the sides of her head and his fingers sinking into the skin and into her skull and the statue Saoirse's eyes are closed when Ayla tells her to open her eyes
"Hey lady, want to play a game?" says a young Saoirse after Ayla tells Saoirse to open her eyes "You don't wanna wake her up, the young Saoirse tells Ayla, a'cause if you wake her up, you wake, the young Saoirse points up at the ceiling where a big, monstrous, shiny black spider is hanging upside down from the web it has spun on the roof of the room and that web is connected to all the things in the room like the statue and all over the floor him up too."
"That isn't true, says an older Saoirse that comes out of a shadowy space in the wall
you can keep calling out to wake her if you want to, go on, she'll open her eyes if you keep calling her, you'll see."
"Don't listen to her,the young Saoirse tells Ayla, she likes the shadows that the bad man brought here, she wants to stay in them forever now! Hey lady, watch me do a cartwheel!"
"You wanna fight? the older Saoirse asks with an evil grin I'll let you wake her if you win."
"She's lying again, the young Saoirse says, you can't believe anything she says, so you should play with me instead!"
"There is nothing you can do, says a Saoirse in a water filled glass box covered in webs hanging from the ceiling
and if you are not careful, he will get you too. This was her place, she points at the staute in the center of the room, but now it is his place, and he doesn't want to leave."
"So, you should leave instead, the older Saoirse says, laughing as she claims it is getting a little too crowded here in her head."
"Hey lady, come and play!" the young Saoirse says holding onto a stuffed fox toy
"You should go go now go before he comes back," the Saoirse in the water filled glass box says
"Or you can Come and fight with me instead!" the older Saoirse laughs from within the shadows

Academy Grounds
Honoros, arching his eyebrow slightly, when Ayla mentioned zombies, sighed in his everlasting annoyance that most Kiffars were used to. “Lovely . . . Sounds just great.” He muttered in between his gritting teeth, alas, nothing more could be said about that, it was truly twisted all the same, and he couldn’t believe that some people would resort to doing that.
Activating his blue hued lightsaber as he noticed some of those distorted corpses making their way towards them, Honoros dodged those lunging at him and even pushed them away with a Force push as he heard the Padawans talking about different animals.
Right, one of them was a Gupin. “Hey kid, I am thinking a Krayt Dragon!” He called out to the Padawan as he kicked one of zombies away as another jumped aiming for his neck. Honoros elbowed it right on the face and just grimaced as the gooey substance dripped off his elbow . . .
Ayla finding herself into the mind of Saoirse. It was not what she expected at all. But she knew she had to be careful and not raise awareness, at least not too soon. Not until Saoirse was ready. For now, Ayla found herself staring at her surroundings. She wasn’t here to fight, she wasn’t here to be drowned into Saoirse’s mind, even if she was being distracted. Ayla wouldn’t say that she had seen worst things, but this was not putting her off. Everyone had their own demons so to speak, and everyone dealt with those demons by means they knew how.
“It could be her place again.” Said Ayla with a warm smile, purposely disregarding the older, and younger Saoirse. “Do you remember the time Atlantis found you?” She carried on looking at the one in the glass box. Ayla had been updated a while ago about that, or at least Atlantis let her look into his mind for when he approached her after her limmie game.
“Do you know how guilty he felt when he announced to you your sensitivity?” It was a rhetorical question but perhaps something that Saoirse did not know, however one thing that Ayla did know was that she had to connect with Saoirse one way or another. “From that day, he promised himself that he would never let you down, and would guide you the best way he knew how. A promise that was shared between all of us that you have met since you have joined the Mist Order.” It was true, as probably Saoirse understood, the Mist Order was not just a Jedi Academy, it was also a family, and family helped one another, inclusion was paramount.
“I am not going anywhere, Saoirse, I am not leaving until I have you back. Because that is what we are about at the Mist Order. We have each other’s back no matter what . . . You know you have to fight for yourself but also for the others.”
Arriving at the Academy on her speederbike, Mace jumped off and slashed one of the zombies that was getting too close with her lightsaber that she had ignited. “I despise these things.” Mace muttered as she landed next to Honoros. She glanced at her cousin who seemed peaceful or at least in control, and then looked into her mind to see how far Ayla had gone through.
“I do not know if Ayla will manage to get through but you should join her. Just focus on the connection she has with Saoirse right now, and you should be transported to where she currently is. The both of you.” Said Mace to both Lyov and Atlantis, perhaps Saoirse would understand why both of them are there, if and when she saw both Lyov and Atlantis despite what she had been told by the Padawans, it was indeed complicated before for all of them, especially for Atlantis, but now it was no longer the case. The Grandmaster of the Mist Order had moved on, and still gave that chance of redemption for Lyov but also on Lyov’s case, he was proof of being set free from the Dark Side of the Force. . . Something she also had to wrestle away from by embracing the helping hands in her direction.

"Understood, and thank you..." Franz murmured as he grabbed the rebreather and placed it on his mouth as he kept himself cloaked into the mist as well as he closed his eyes to try and get a sense of his surroundings, or at least be guided on what was happening. In the corner of his mind though, no idea why, he had already been thinking of how probably this was going to be a mess to clean up when... if they got out of this, but that stayed right there in the back of his mind as he calmed down his thoughts and was mindful of them to avoid detection.
One was down, and the other...
Franz's eyes popped wide open when he saw and heard the Dazouri leaping towards him, he was about to roll on his side to avoid her but then noticed that the knockout gas had taken affect and she reverted back to her rest form. Before her body fell on the ground, Franz caught her in his arms and smiled and then placed her down securely on the side, he checked up on her and cleansed her mind. Hoping that the gas would take effect that longer too, Franz knew that cleansing her mind might wouldn't do much good, but he still did it. Now, he still had to at least separate those two still standing.
Judging by Saoirse possessed, it seemed like she wasn't stopping at all, and there was no way those battle droid who harm her at least, but the other one, well that was another situation entirely.
"HEY!" He shouted out to call their attention. "For a brief moment, just a tiny moment, I thought that Dark siders were smarter than that. You come here, completely unprepared from the looks of it." His voice seemed to be coming from multiple direction at each words. Franz was moving around while still cloaked but there was one certainty, he was also moving closer to the duo. Performing a Force kick aimed directly at their lightsabers they were holding, before focusing on them both in an attempt to pull them back and away from the stairways.

Vasilisa just like Dragnea had began cutting through the vines, or even the trees that were surging up in their path, and fortunately for her, the filters in her mask also shielded her too from the gas that had been dispersing into the mists. Unfortunately though...
With being distracted by the battle droids that had walked up to her, Vasilisa had been jumping around in her Ataru form to counter them and dispose of them, and thinking that they could at least now carry on into the entrance where all the other students seemed to be gathered for safety, Vasilisa heard the voice that seemed to be echoing into the mists, unable to find its source and noticing that the Twi'lek, Dragnea was controlling, seemed to have fallen, Vasilisa really started to come to realize that their plans wouldn't work.
She started to realize also why Lyov probably turned his back on the Order. The Jedi on this planet weren't just any Jedi...
Despite the changing tide, Vasilisa did not see that kick coming, her lightsaber flying up before she had been pulled back from the stairways, seemingly farther from their objective now. Plus whomever that Jedi was inside, Vasilisa knew that she couldn't underestimate him at all. Unfortunately again for her with no other corpse to control, all of them seemed to be falling one by one outside too...
And that was when dread started to over take her unfortunately.
Academy Grounds
Arriving into the Academy Grounds with Lyov, Atlantis looked at the scene around them as those zombies seemed to be coming from every direction but it seemed like their numbers were dwindling. "No respect for the dead, seriously." Atlantis muttered under his breath as he pulled out both of his lightsabers, the black and yellow hued ones and activated them as he chopped the ones that had been rushing towards him...
Looking towards Mace, and then focusing his attention onto her cousin, Atlantis took a deep breath and looked at Lyov with a faint grin. "You heard her, unless you are not comfortable with it?" Atlantis asked genuinely in fact, as going into someone's mind, as anyone would expect, could be a tricky situation, and with Saoirse being possessed by what seemed like a powerful spirit it might trigger Lyov's past but also sense of guilt. "I'll bring her back, but it would be nice to have another ally, and friend along the ride, you will probably see something I do not." Atlantis left it all in Lyov's hands, after all yes despite their past history, there was nothing that Atlantis had not enforced, he had given the Epicanthix a choice that night, five years ago, and today, it wasn't going to change, Atlantis still gave him a choice, and no matter what, he would respect that.
Sitting down next to Ayla, after deactivating his lightsabers, Atlantis placed the hilts before him and closed his eyes to concentrate at first onto Ayla who was deeply into Saoirse's mind. It wasn't that difficult for him to find that proverbial thread, as he had been transported into where Ayla was currently...
Hearing the Kiffar's last words, Atlantis did not care where he found himself right now, he just wanted the Zabrak to regain control. "I would listen to her." Atlantis said with a knowing smile before looking at the smaller Saoirse and getting on his knees, "Hey you, whatcha got there in your hands?" He asked pointing at the toy.

Grounds
Aidan, hearing Honoros call out that he is thinking of a Krayt Dragon, grins as he tosses his lightsaber to Bria as his body is already in the process of transforming, becoming taller and broader and then even taller as he takes on the form of the image in the Kiffar's mind. Swinging his massive tail around to sweep the undead left standing further away from Ayla and the other Jedi attempting to free Saoirse from the ancient Mecrosa spirit that had been waiting in the stolen mask, Aidan-as-a-Krayt roars as he leaps into the air and bounds after the decaying reanimated dead as they try to get to their feet to resume their attack.
The ground quakes as Aidan-as-a-Krayt lands in front of the undead, swinging his horned head from side to side to send the nearest three sailing away in a cloud of broken or torn limbs before, with chunks and tatters of rotted flesh decorating his horns, he uses his massive, wickedly sharp front claws to crush, tear, mince and shred seven of the remaining twelve zombies into scattered arms, legs, heads and shredded torsos. Opening his jaws wide, Aidan-as-a-Krayt spits a gob of venom onto one of the remaining five zombies, causing it to dissolve in a smoking heap as he lunges forward and captures another in his mouth, his teeth sinking into it as he shakes his head from side to side and sends it's upper torso flying in one direction as its legs drop to the ground. Swiveling his massive head to locate the last of the undead, Aidan-as-a-Krayt rumbles towards them and prepares to dispatch them with claws, teeth and horns so that none are left to threaten the Jedi attempting to save Saoirse.
Lyov, hesitates only for a moment after Atlantis suggests that they venture together into Saoirse's mind to try and assist Ayla in freeing her from possession, doubting for that moment that he would be of any help when they know Saoirse far better than he does until Atlantis points out that there is a chance he might see something that Ayla and Atlantis himself might not. It is not lost on him that the Grandmaster refers to him as an ally and a friend, and perhaps that plays a part too in why Lyov, after nodding to confirm that he will do all that he can to help and in grateful acknowledgement of how Atlantis' views him now, sits in a cross-legged position near Atlantis and Ayla, the lightsaber the Grandmaster entrusted him resting in the hand he lays on his knee. Closing his eyes, focusing on the connection Ayla has already made with Saoirse's mind, Lyov calls on Ashla's guidance as he begins walking through the tunnel Ayla walked through before him.
Mindful of the webs and threads on the floor beyond the door at the tunnel's end Lyov steps inside the room where Ayla speaks of how Atlantis met Saoirse and sees that there are four representations or aspects of the Zabrak they have come to free from possession
Ayla talks with the Saoirse in a water filled cube while Atlantis engages a young Saoirse who holds a Vulptex doll so Lyov, ignoring the Saoirse in the shadows believing he knows what she represents and that she will be of no use now walks to study the statue in the center of the room looking closely at the web threads and wires connecting it to the spider hanging over their heads to see if there is a way to open the statue Saoirse's eyes without disturbing the wires and webs that would alert the spider to their intrusion . . .
Entrance Hall
The AI monitors Master Delgrave's progress on the security cameras left intact in the main hall after it has sealed the blast doors connecting the hallway where the unconscious Dazouri and Twi'lek lay to the main area where the battle continues.
The cat masked Mecrosa unarmed by Master Delgrave, the AI observes, appears to be quickly losing her nerve as the tide of the battle turns against her and the possessed Zabrak Initiate, and so it has two of the remaining ASP-19's vault over the side of the stairwell and raise their lightsabers as they begin backing the feline masked Necromancer towards the dining hall to keep her further away from the possessed Initiate Beirne fighting alone now against Master Delgrave and the last three of the ASP-19s left standing.
As Master Delgrave tries to pull the Vulptex masked possessed Zabrak further from the doors, the AI has two of the ASP-19s deactivate their lightsabers and rush forward, one on the Zabrak's left and the other on the right, to try and grab her wrists to try and subdue her, hoping that either the droids or Master Delgrave will distract the possessed Initiate long enough for the other to succeed and end the physical threat the masked Initiate represents.
As it is sending the last ASP-19s forth to perform their tasks, the AI appears in the room on the second floor, instructing the older, more experienced students to prepare to stand against the possessed Zabrak while guiding the younger students to rooms away from the sealed blast doors; the AI calculates the possibility of the Vulptex masked Mecrosa fighting past Master Delgrave and the ASP-19s is negligible at best, but not so negligible that it will not prepare for the worst case scenario as best it can.

Dragnea, despite the fact that the battle has shifted in the favor of the Mist Order Academy's defenders, is so determined to reach the blast doors that stand in the way of seizing victory from the jaws of defeat, so lost in reveling in the power that (s)he possesses now that the Zabrak serves as the vessel for a return to life, that (s)he pays no more heed to the taunts of Franz than any other so-called threat barring the way up the stairs. Gida's lightsaber slashes through trees, vines and droids alike as Dragnea forces his way up the enforested stairwell, thwarted only briefly when the saber kicks from the Zabrak's hand and (s)he is pulled Forcibly backwards. Halting the Zabrak's descent towards the bottom of the stairwell by grasping one of the few trees left intact, Dragnea clings to it and, with a backward glance into the darkened mists soon reveals that even when disarmed (s)he is not without weapons to bring to bear.
Focusing on a toppled tree midway down the stairs, Dragnea uses Pyrokinesis to manipulate the molecules of the tree until it ignites in a fiery blaze that illuminates the mist enshrouded stairwell in an apocalyptic orange and yellow haze, and then swings the Zabrak's hand out to send the burning tree crashing and rolling down the stairs, igniting all of the plant-life in its path. The Zabrak drops down the stairs once more, hands flying as though conducting a symphony as he gathers the flames licking at the burning trees and vines below into large balls of deadly flame that (s)he casts out around the entrance hall in hopes of either burning Franz to a crisp or illuminating the area enough that the Jedi is revealed . . .Ayla and the Room at the End of the Tunnel
II.
Revelations "It can never be just her place now, not when, the Saoirse in the box points to the Saoirse in the shadows, she is here now, and here she will stay."
"Oh no, the older Saoirse in the shadows tells Ayla, that just isn't true, I will go away if you fight me now, curling a finger to invite Ayla to come into the shadows, Fight me and I will tell you how to open her, she points to the statue of Saoirse and Dragnea in the center of the room, eyes."
"You should leave, leave us here, the Saoirse in the water filled box tells Ayla, swimming closer to the surface of the water filling the box as she pleads with Ayla, Go before, she looks up at the spider dangling from its web, he comes back."
"Speaking of backs, the older Saoirse says, Atlantis didn't do a very good job of watching her's, she nods to the statue in the center of the room, did he? Giggling cruelly, she asks, What makes you think you can do any better?"
"Hey lady, the young Saoirse says as Atlantis and Lyov come to join them all, in the room at the end of the tunnel, here's some more friends coming to play! Hurray!"
"Careful with that, the older Saoirse in the shadows tells Lyov as he approaches the statue, smiling as she reaches for a sticky strand of web hanging down beside her, Touch one of these, she taps the web with a fingertip, making it thrum and vibrate just a tiny bit, on that, and you'll wake, she points up, him," smiling as the spider drops down just a little closer to the floor before stopping once more
"It's a fox! the young Saoirse tells Atlantis when he asks what she has in her hands, holding it out for him to see as she asks, Hey Atlantis, come and play dolls with me! I have lots! Stepping carefully over only the webs laying on the floor, the young Saoirse tells Atlantis, I have a Shadow Saoirse and a Statue Saoirse, and a Saoirse in a box! Which one do you want to be?"

Academy GroundsPretty impressed with the Gupin’s performance as a Krayt Dragon, Honoros smirked as he sliced one of the remaining four in half vertically as Mace decapitated another one before glancing at the Academy just feeling how emboldened the Spirit of the one possessing Saoirse seemed to be. Glancing over Ayla, Atlantis and Lyov who were still in that mindscape, Mace for a split-second thought of something. Looking back at the Academy and then back at Ayla, Mace wondered if that was the best idea. Maybe . . . Looking again at the Academy and focusing on the dark presence inside who Franz was facing, Mace knew that there was only so much that Franz could do to not harm Saoirse-currently-Dragnea physically. This had to be a battle of the mind, that much Mace was certain, and perhaps Dragnea had not even noticed it yet considering what she could feel happening inside the Academy, another paramount thing, they needed to keep everyone safe in there. Ayla, bring the fight to you, there is not much that Franz can do inside . . .In the distance, Ayla heard her cousin, it was faint, but it was there. Then there was that side of Saoirse, who seemed to have given up, and perhaps the taint of the Dark Side did make her lose hope. But . . .
Omitting to reply to the corrupted Saoirse for now at least, Ayla just looked at her figure. She had been goading Ayla to fight, and yet, the older Saoirse did not make a move in that direction.
Lyov, and Atlantis were here with her, and she wondered if it would work. Though from the taunts of the corrupted Saoirse, Ayla did look at her and for a split second, Ayla might have considered it, but no, that would cement her belief that she was bound to be corrupted by the Dark Side of the Force.
“It’s not her that we need to fight.” Finally said Ayla now understanding what her cousin meant, and remembering that faint echo. “We need to bring him in here, and purge him from here. At least she’ll have to do it.” Ayla pointed at the one in the water filled box.
“Wake him.” She said with certainty as she concentrated on the good sides that were still present in here

Ah cazzo! Franz cussed to himself as he saw the tree being set ablaze lighting everything up in its wake. Surely the sprinklers would come on now, right?! Though when in doubt, Franz just called upon the Force and definitely revealed his location, but he did not care at this point, he was just here to do some damage control and also distract them at least, because again surely the others outside...
Now that he thought about it also, he could feel Atlantis outside next to Ayla.
Basics: Fire could not be sustained if no oxygen or at least barely there oxygen but that would be too dramatic and he would have to strip down the oxygen level entirely here. With this only resort, Franz force pushed the incoming haze and looked at it as he took a few steps back before creating a dome on top of it to suppress it and choking it or at least as much as he could choke it, though water sprinklers would be nice...
"Say, you fugly thing. Is there a reason why you are so hell bent in wanting to rule the world, because I really never understood why your kind go all gungho, it's not like we ever did anything to you." Franz was just casually speaking and even if he was just casually speaking he still kept his awareness in the Force now as there was no use to hide anyways. Plus he was here, and thus weird looking mask thingy would just focus on him.
"Also you seem to have lost another posse there." Franz pointed out, "Now please, foxy dude, be a good little bad guy, and I don't know posses one of the undeads? It's a solution." Franz casually said, and while he had been talking, he had been wondering how he could get closer and just get that mask removed. Plus there was that matter of that other chick that was being brought to the dining hall if he could guess, at least those two were no longer together.

With those two droids before her, and unarmed Vasilisa backed away to be brought towards the dining hall...Grounds
Hearing his name being spoken by the older Saoirse version that seemed to be corrupted, Atlantis looked at the Zabrak tilting his head briefly on the side before asking. "Probably not, indeed. But would you have truly held that against me. I would understand if you resented me for not trying, but I am here now." He told her placidly, in his mind, that version, that older version was all that could be if they did not pull Saoirse out of this, or if they had not pulled her out, and helped her in coming to terms with all of this.
But first they definitely had to figure out how to make Saoirse repossess her own body. The more he looked. Younger, present, older, they were all in different situation. The one he was talking to was the younger version of herself, the innocent one, then there was that one in that crossroad over in the box filled water, then there was that older version that had fully succumbed to the Dark Side of the Force.
Smiling and looking at the Fox that was held by the younger version of Saoirse. Standing up to his full height and avoid the webs on the ground, Atlantis looked at the young Saoirse which one he would want to be, that is a good question and at the same time well... "I wished I could only pick one, but..." Atlantis looked at his surroundings again and looked at Lyov. "We are all ruled by emotions. So I would probably choose all of them because those are all part of her. Choices make us who we are... And what she decides now could very well bring something great out of her. I would know, I have witnessed it often times..."
Inclining his head upon hearing Ayla's words, Atlantis wasn't quite aware what was going on outside of here, and did not know how much time had passed, but no matter what, what he believed and what he felt, whomever was possessing her needed to be eradicated from here... Since Lyov was closest to the statue, Atlantis nodded before looking up at the spider as he clenched his fists to be prepared.

Entrance Hall
Observing the Vulptex masked possessed Initiate on the stairs as she begins to ignite the veritable verdantly green forest that has grown up the stairwell and sees the flames ignite a fallen tree, the AI activates the academy's fire suppression system, sprinklers in the ceilings along the stairwell and in the main hall hissing to life and beginning to rain torrentially down and dousing the flames in no time at all, dampening the floors and walls so that the fireballs the possessed Initiate liberally peppers the main hall with gutter out and die as soon as they impact against the flooded floors or dampened walls. Master Delgrave and the Initiate are both quickly soaked, affording protection to the former while making the latter's continued use of pyrokinesis essentially an empty display.
When the AI sees that the Feline masked Mecrosa has been backed into the dining hall by the ASP-19s advancing towards her, it seals the blast doors to trap the soaked Necromancer in with the ASP-19s, their lightsabers hissing and sending curls of smoke into the air to join the mists as droplets of water from the sprinklers fall on their blades. . .
Deciding Master Delgrave's efforts to disable the possessed Initiate could benefit from a distraction, the AI uses footage from the training rooms to project images of Mace and Atlantis, lightsabers ignited as they stride from the direction of the main entrance. Using images of the ASP-19s lightsabers and Master Delgrave to make the holoprojected Jedi as convincing as possible, their clothes and hair wet and plastered down while their lightsabers hiss and steam, the AI has its illusory Mace begin circling around to the possessed Zabrak's right while the Atlantis circles around to her left . . .
Lyov pays Shadow Saoirse little mind as he studies instead the Statue Saoirse, frowning as he sees the webs that have been spun upon it are cover it so completely there is no way to open the Statue's eyes without alerting the spider hanging over her head
Hearing Ayla say that they must bring Dragnea here if they are to put an end to his possession of the Zabrak, Lyov looks back at her and sees Atlantis nod and, his fists clenched as though preparing to fight, nod at the statue to tell him what to do
Reaching for the thickest, stickiest strand of web connecting the statue to the huge web hanging from the ceiling with the spider, already closer to the floor than before after Shadow Saoirse had tapped a web, Lyov grabs the wed he has chosen and tears it from the statue, before stepping back and looking up a at the spider to prepare for its attack . . .
