While clearly his mind was in shambles, Forcias really had no idea on what to do, he was torn between following and respecting Honoros’ orders but at the same time, the Vos cousins irrefutably went against the General’s wishes. Where did in fact his loyalties lie at this point? He was in a rut right now, he owed so much to Honoros who had taken him in a long time ago and made him a decent man. Compared to his past? Forcias was actually a solid guy now. . .
He might have been on the verge to call it off and just start being indifferent to the Lieutenant, the last thing he had wanted was that friction between Honoros and the Vos cousins. He had been lost in thoughts back then until he heard Mace telling him something, of course deep down he cared and deep down he would want to check up on her, that process only accelerated when he received a message also from Atlantis.
"Used as a punching bag. . ." It was the statement that had been echoing in his mind and that statement even took precedence despite him halting several times on his way towards the lakehouse. He still remembered that look from Honoros when he left the General, a disapproving one, it was just unbearable but he couldn’t pretend that he didn’t care at all.
Screw that. . . Thought Forcias as he jumped over the lakehouse fence, he potentially might have set off some silent alarm or whatever but what did he care, he was now here and that was all that mattered to him. Albeit it took him a few hours to get here because he was conflicted but he was here and that was all that mattered to him right now.
The Lakehouse — Gardens
He wanted, needed to see how badly hurt Lucine was and maybe do something about it. Forcias closed his eyes momentarily and knew that she was nearby, he walked towards the garden since he actually did not want to ring the doorbell and be admitted inside but he avoided the kitchen’s window and therefore view sensing that there were people there, the ones who inhabit this lakehouse.
Lucine. . . He called out to her softly and privately through the Force. He had to make it private of course considering that the Chief Financial Officer was sensitive and he really did not want to make a big deal out of his presence right now.
For now, Forcias just waited with his clenched fists and gritting teeth, he knew that he was transgressing his direct orders from the General but even though he wasn’t technically with the Lieutenant, he still cared, because that was him.
Period.

Crystal really had to find a way to shut off permanently from hearing her childhood friend's thoughts. The inner monologue didn't affect her much but it was more the perpetual thoughts that Lily seemed to have about Ryan. Crystal made a face in Lily's general direction before rolling her eyes exasperatedly. Thank the gods that Elika was here, she was sure that Lily could talk about Ryan to her, which was why she looked at Elika a few times as if relieved all of a sudden.
Pointing from Lily to Elika about that comment on her deciding on the dish of the day, Crystal smiled warmly and looked at Elika for a moment. She really was glad that her friend was back and it seemed that there was someone else nearby. In the pit of her stomach she was aware that someone was there but it was really faint and couldn't make anything out of it. "Is someone else here?" Crystal asked curiously gesturing to the general vicinity. Maybe it was her senses that were all over the grid and maybe she was just thinking too much into it, but all in all, it, at least, seemed to her that there was nothing to worry about.
She looked back at Elika with a knowing smile since she knew that her friend seemed to want to do something. "Yes please, if that doesn't bother you?" She asked softly before pursing her lips as she peered again into the fridge. "Pasta, chicken, nerf, fish, that will depend on what you want which you still have to tell me and then perhaps yes I will need a helper." She stood by the fridge while waiting for the answer and took a glass from Lily who was serving them it seemed.
Taking a sip of her wine, she let out a content sigh before listening to the attorney. "Nothing eventful but just that..." She said with an amused tone when Lily mentioned that interview and the PA. She rolled her eyes playfully and tilted her head on the side, placing her glass on her cheek to cool her a little bit. "Oh, and I have handed the file to Andros about his allocated budget for the raceways renovation. Although he was very bent on using his funds if funds were indeed lacking. So that aside, he may push his proposal soon." Crystal told her with a wink, she clearly remembered Andros saying to give it a week but perhaps he would put his plans into motion sooner rather than later.
She knew that Andros was looking out for everyone he was close to even though he didn't show it, or he did in a subtle way but still it was often hardly discernible. He was a good person and the population seemed to love him more and more especially with the farms outside of the city that were sustaining the population. "Work aside, you had a lovely rest? Because Lily and I are taking you out later on if you are up for it, I am thinking that maybe, we could go back to TaSpa! or something?"

The Lakehouse - Kitchen
Elikapeka feels her mood beginning to lift almost as soon as she has seated herself; Lily and Crystal's mere comforting and familiar presence, with the unique energy each brings to the atmosphere, enough to dispel some of the lingering effects of Elika's recent experience on Rori and make her feel at least a tiny bit closer to baseline and further from highly agitated. Pointing to herself with a worried expression when Lily passes the question of what Crystal should prepare off to her, Elika, naturally for her, begins to worry that she'll pick something no one else would enjoy, and so feels a bit of reprieve when, with little pause, Lily asks if she wants Blossom wine. The question of which wine to indulge in first a far less complicated one, Elika nods her agreement and smiles as she says, "You know me too well, darling."
Mouthing 'thank you' silently when Lily hands her a glass of the pale yellow wine, Elika lifts her glass to enjoy the scent as Lily explains that she and Crystal have decided to take the rest of the day off, launching immediately thereafter into a few other tid bits to which Elika has only the opportunity to nod or make appropriately interested expressions before her friend pauses long enough to allow someone else time to chime in. After taking a sip of her wine, Elika, with a playfully amused expression on her face, says, speaking theatrically quickly as though fearful of not having time to get a word in before Lily is off again, "I'm glad work was fine, have no idea what interview you're talking about and, she looks over towards Crystal, congratulations on finally getting a PA. Do you think you'll get along with them alright? Without pausing, Elika returns her focus to Lily, asking with an inquisitively arched eyebrow, Still on the market? What does that mean for you and a certain Solaris, hmmm?"
Looking briefly confused when Crystal asks whether anyone else is present, Elika, remembering the fact that her friend can, thanks to her recently discovered Force sensitivity, sense when others are near as well as the fact that her lieutenant had not arrived before Lily and Crystal had left for the morning, looks almost comedically as though comprehension has suddenly blossomed and answers, "Oh, um, yes. My lieutenant, she looks over her shoulder and explains, She's around somewhere. Frowning a bit embarrassedly, Elika speculates, I guess my security status or whatever will be elevated for a bit since it seems like she'll be here during the day or something instead of just escorting me to work and . . . trailing off, deciding not to worry about the change or when it might end, Elika shrugs, not wanting to dwell on the subject and risk a resultant dip in her mood, concluding by explaining, She seems determined to keep herself in the background though."
Elika stands, carrying her wine glass with her, and walks to the sink to wash her hands after, answering Crystal's question about the menu selection, "Chef's choice, hon', and then, as she washes her hands after taking a sip of her wine, nods and confirms her friend's suspicion, I actually hope Andros does make his proposal sooner than later. For me, time off is great for the first day or two, but, um, but after that . . . Elika frowns, not so much. Having something to work on would help . . . put everything behind me and move on, you know? Grateful for the opportunity to change the subject that Crystal and Lily's suggested plans for the day provides, Elika dries her hands as she smiles and says, Oh, I think I could definitely manage a TaSpa! visit, hon'."

Lucy had been alerted to Forcias' approach before his telepathic summons, one of the R-4 recon drones having tracked him from the moment its sensors picked up his heat signature. After having the droid zoom in on the figure vaulting the fence, Lucy pursed her lips, debating whether to be annoyed or amused upon recognizing Forcias and silently cursing Atlantis, who she is quite sure was the one to alert Forcias to where she is and, in all probability, to the fact she looks like hell.
Scanning the feeds from the other R-4's even though she has little concern that there is anything to be concerned about, Lucy begins making her way to the front door to head for the gardens where Forcias seems to be headed, having decided to be more amused than annoyed; Forcias may be interrupting her while she's on the clock despite the fact they had agreed early on that they wouldn't let . . . whatever it is they have going on together seep over into their professional lives.
"There's these amazing things, Lucy says in a dry tone as she rounds a corner and approaches Forcias, her bandaged hands in the side pockets of her flight jacket, worn over a dark pair of jeans and a black t-shirt, called front doors. You should try them sometime, Lucy suggests with a small upward curl of the right corner of her lips. Or, she puts a bandaged finger to her bruised and still swollen lips with an intently thoughtful expression, comlinks. Those are good too. Shaking her head and, since she is, way deep down beneath her usual cool and awesome demeanor, genuinely touched at the level of concern Forcias is demonstrating, which is not anything she's used to from her usual relationships, ending the sarcasm, Lucy tilts her head to the side and, searching for something really deep and meaningful to say that might convey how touched she is, says, Soooo. . . hey, how you doin'?"

Forcias knew that she was on the move, she might have been aware that he had been here before even calling out for her. The moment he heard her voice, he turned around to face her and just look at her with an impassible gaze. Perhaps he didn't want to show his concerns towards her that clearly, so he just stared at her for the longest time in silence while listening to her attentively. He was wearing his usual attire and the insigna on his shoulder pads was clearly showing on where his loyalties lied, then again truth be told, even though it was the universal thing for the Guardians on this planet, Mace and Ayla had tweaked it and made it their own.
He clearly saw her bruised face and bandaged hands, he even arched his eyebrow looking at her when she gave him some tips on how to actually present himself or just contact her. He chuckled very lowly and shook his head. "I will give you the comm comment but as for the front door. . ." He looked over in the direction of where he could feel the three residents were located and carried on. "I am not here for them," Focusing his attention back on Lucine, his gaze narrowed somewhat. "I am here for you." He finally added after a certain and long pause.
Her question had been a good one, one he had preferred not to dwell on for now, or go into details because, how was he really doing? He was in a rut and whatever he had with her was due to that, so he just omitted answering that question. Besides, it wasn't unheard of that he really wasn't that much to talk about himself or anything. He preferred it that way and she would be less worried in the end. At least that was his take on it.
For now, he settled for less as he answered. "Better than you, it seems." He walked closer to her and peered into her eyes. "Don't move." He ordered, before he opened himself up to the Force and first focused on her bruised face to heal her. That took a little while since he was no master at that compared to Ayla and then he moved towards her hands giving it all he could until he deemed the results to be a satisfactory one.
After a few minutes, he took one of her hands and slowly removed the bandage that was rolled over it. "Kayne will know that I am here. . ." He commented indifferently, it was just a small talk but it beat the silence for now as he moved to her other hand. "You know what bothers me, Lucine. . ." He began to tell her as he looked back into her eyes. "Finding out from the Mist Order Councilors themselves that you were back and harmed." It was no reproach but just an amused statement from his part. The fact that Mace and Atlantis had pushed him in this direction to see Lucine and see how she was actually doing, that was just unheard of. "Maybe you and I can go through comlink one oh one, since apparently we both suck at it." Releasing her hand and placing the bandages in his back pockets to dispose of them later, he continued to look at her with an amused smirk.

The Lakehouse - Kitchen
Winking at Elika when she tells me I know her too well, I even blow a kiss in her direction. It is quite easy anyways, any drinks my friends favored, of course I would retain it because I am weird like that. Seriously ... Soon enough I look at Elika with a curious and amused expression, because she is speaking that fast. Come to think of it, it might be my fault right? I speak too quickly sometimes and toss in information in a tirade.
I am all over the place, I mean it works right? It helps Elika forget the stuff that happened back there. So mission accomplished somehow ... I take a sip of my drink letting either Elika or Crystal do the talking now until I spit my wine back into my glass when Elika mentions a certain Solaris. I look at her with wide eyes before quickly gesturing under my neck to not say a thing, while glancing at Crystal. Mmmmm, that Solaris, I wonder when he will come back. I notice that glare again from CKayne and look at her with pursed lips before declaring. "She mentioned him!" I theatrically say before gulping my wine in a single go and refilling my glass because I really need to numb my mind right about now.
Right now, I just concentrate on the talks between Crystal and Elika and just furrow my eyebrows when I hear that the Lieutenant is currently here and just doing her bodyguard thing. Never really had the occasion to meet her, or just speak with her, I can understand, nonetheless, why she would be around. It is quite amusing that we actually, now, have a radar in Crystal's person, she exactly knows when there is someone around or something. Good trick. But she still can read my thoughts ...
"Baby girl?I call out her attention before glancing at Crystal. Do curry or sushi, or something exotic. I suggest, anything she does, I will eat anyways, no problems there and then I remember that Elika has not seen that interview, walking around the kitchen island to get to my handbag, I rummage in it to find my datapad, as after all, my messages that I usually receive in the office on my dataterminal are in sync with my personal datapad. Clicking on the link, I finally hand the datapad to Elika so it would play when she takes it. Enjoy, gorgeous." I tell her with an amused expression while I glance at CKayne knowingly who apparently is still deciding on whether she should or should not give her lover boy a hard time about the weather girl being all up his grind.

Elika did not know what interview she and Lily were talking about, good. That only meant she wasn't checking her datapad and did her own thing. She remembered Lily adding Elika at some point to their holonet messages this morning. Elika might have slept then which was a good thing. One thing right now was amusing Crystal, it was the fact that Elika was speaking quickly as if her life depended on it. She just looked at Lily with a knowing smile before her smile slightly faltered and her expression turned into a subtle glare especially when she heard that comment about Ryan. "Urgh, you are impossible, baby girl." She commented before taking a sip of her wine and laughing clearly amused. To be honest, she just loved giving Lily a hard time, if her childhood friend's relationship worked with Ryan, then good for them both.
For now, she focused on Elika and smiled in a satisfied way. "She is very pro-active and gets things done, you should meet her whenever you get the occasion and judge for yourself, perhaps?" Crystal suggested before placing her glass down on the kitchen island. So, the Lieutenant was the person that she could feel, better remember that signature then if she did not want to be on guard constantly. "Here during the day?" Crystal repeated rhetorically before taking a deep breath. "Maybe she should talk with the Deputy Director, because apparently orders from the political advisor, some guardians had to be on sentry duty." Crystal said before shrugging slightly, not bothered by that at all since she knew that they were as far as they could and never really shadowed her nor Lily. They both technically held high positions in the government and their safety was important.
"But since Lucy is here, I shall make a plate for her." Crystal commented naturally, she was just the type to let people stay there and not eat at all. She was told chef's choice and Lily even tossed some suggestions to which Crystal pouted thoughtfully. "That takes a while..." She replied thoughtfully before tapping her lips with her index finger. "Icefish en papillote? Over ramorean capanata." She suggested looking at both Elika and Lily, she knew Lily was fine with anything, Elika, she wasn't quite sure what she loved and what she didn't love foodwise.
"Well hon', when Andros says a week, he actually means three days." She said with a faint laughter before opening a drawer to get some parchment paper, limes in the fridge and four fishes because after all they were four and other ingredients she would need before shutting the fridge door. "Could you grab me some malla petals from the garden?" Crystal asked with a warm smile before frowning as she felt someone who just appeared in the Lieutenant's vicinity, she looked outside the window but she saw no one. "Uh, actually never mind about that." She said quickly with a stifled laughter before nibbling her lower lip as she looked at Elika and Lily mouthing that Forcias was outside with Lucy.

Lakehouse - Kitchen
Cringing with an apologetic frown, Elikapeka mouths 'oops, sorry' when Lily makes the cease and desist motion to silently if not quite subtly indicate that the subject of a certain Solaris is not one she wishes to explore at the moment, making Elika worry that she should have left the question for a moment when Crystal were not around as it seems that it might, entirely understandably now that Elika considers it, be a bit of a sensitive subject. Thankfully Elika's concern that the ill-decided conversational misstep will blossom into a faux pas that might spoil the afternoon is soon lain to rest, the conversation immediately continuing onward uninhibited and untainted by any sense of awkwardness. Nodding when Crystal suggests that Elika make her own judgement about her PA's qualifications should she ever have the opportunity to meet her for herself, Elika says, "I'm sure I'll meet her eventually, which is true enough given that she and Crystal often get together for caf during the work week when Elika is on Umgul. Sounds delish, Elika, accepting the datapad Lily hands her so that she can watch the interview she had mentioned, asserts with a smile when Crystal suggests the icefish. Three days, Elika says when Crystal translates Androse-ish into Basic for her, sounds like plenty of time to be idle, so that's perfect actually. I'll probably be crawling the walls by the end of the day tomorrow to be honest. Before she can start the video of the interview, Crystal asks Elika to gather some malla petals from the garden, and then, before Elika can set the datapad down to do as instructed, belays the order, explaining sotto voce that her lieutenant has a visitor in the gardens. Arching an amused eyebrow, Elika says, Well, good for her, and starts the video of the interview as she says, Just let me know if there's anything else I can do hon'."
Laughing when the weathergirl greets Atlantis in an interesting fashion, Elika giggles at his somewhat flustered demeanor throughout the remainder of the interview, shaking her head as, once the video has concluded, she hands the datapad back to Lily, laughing as she says, "Classic. Thanks for sharing darling, I'd hate to have missed the chance to give Atlantis oodles and oodles of grief over that. Taking a drink of her wine, Elika asks Lily, So, what else did I miss while I was gone?"
Gardens
The 'I am not here for them, I am here for you' is a good line, swoon worthy even, but Lucy, being Lucy, shifts her weight from her left leg onto her right and crosses her arms over her chest with an unimpressed expression and an arched eyebrow that seems to say, 'ok, you're here, let's hear it', only the small upward quirk of the left corner of her swollen lips betraying the fact the line didn't go as wide of the mark as she'd like it to seem it did. Narrowing her eyes when Forcias tells her not to move, Lucy remains still, keeping her surprise from revealing itself on her expression when she begins to feel her heart rate increase as he does that Force mumbo jumbo to her, her muscles tensing at first until she can feel the dull throbbing pain in her face and hands begin to lessen and then fade.
The experience of being healed, coupled with the fact Lucy has no idea how to adequately express her gratitude for the gesture, leaves her momentarily mute, and so Lucy simply watches her and Forcias' hands as he steps forward and begins slowly unraveling the bandage from her hand and fingers, revealing that his efforts have mended the scrapes, scratches and bruises, as he, looking from her hand to her eyes as he begins unwrapping her other hand, gently chides her for the fact he had to learn that she had returned and had been wounded from someone other than her. For as long as she can remember, Lucy thought she had only Jesse and Bee to rely on or be concerned about her; those in the brief, superficial relationships Lucy has indulged in have, by and large, never been of the type to express the level of caring that Forcias has, and, not for the first time, she wonders if it isn't time to cut ties and move on before the risk of venturing into the realm of something akin to a REAL RELATIONSHIP presents itself. Lucy, adept at self deception, doesn't acknowledge the fact that she is actually worried that she might have hurt Forcias by not reaching out to him, doing so, of course, too close to admitting she actually cares, recognizes the fact her thoughts are veering into territory she would rather not enter, and so deals with it as she deals with most things, using humor to change the subject.
After flexing the fingers of her hands while looking at them for the brief moment she is silent and caught up in the thoughts she doesn't allow herself to linger on, Lucy looks up from them and meets Forcias' gaze with a lop-sided, Corellian grin while saying dryly, "I'll make it up to you. Reaching into the side pocket of her flight jacket, Lucy takes the keys from her speeder and tosses them to Forcias so he doesn't have to walk back to wherever he came from, Pick me up here at 0700 when my relief clocks in. Turning to walk back into the house, Lucy looks over her shoulder as she adds, We'll go to my place, concluding with a wink, Work on our . . . communication skills."

Waving my hand dismissively telling in a certain way that it is alright, not really a problem, I gesture with my index finger to my gray matter before glancing at Kayne to explain in a way, before mouthing to her that I would explain later given the chance. I am glad that it isn't made a big deal out of it despite Kayne's comment and I just end up poking my tongue in her direction. "I am not impossible ... I tell her upfront before amending my statement. Okay maybe on this particular matter but it's not like ..." Clearly I'd rather shut up then and there and that is exactly what I do before taking another sip of my wine and just go over the sink to wash my hands after putting my glass down on the kitchen island.
Listening briefly to that description that Kayne gives about her new PA, I look at her for the longest time in silence before saying. "You forgot to mention 'hot'. I say factually, like it is the obvious thing. Sure I have not seen Delaana Wan yet but I still hear office talks and quite clearly. Government workers talking about her all morning, I kept hearing the same thing over and over again. If those talks reached my department, that really means something. Rolling my eyes playfully looking from Crystal to Elika, I finally add on. I went to get some coffee and apparently one of the paralegals had just came down from your floor saying he just saw what might have been one of the most beautiful woman ever. And then all of a sudden, I get bombarded by most of the guys in my department wondering if I needed any assistance for any documentations that I may have to transfer to the Financial department." Shaking my head at the happenings of my morning, I end up chuckling before drying my hands and taking another sip of the wine.
I am fine with the chef's choice, anything Crystal does, it's great and I am not even surprised that she would also do an extra plate for Elika's lieutenant. Grabbing the parchment paper from the kitchen island to cut it into four parts, I immediately drop it back down the kitchen island when I notice Crystal mouthing something, unable to help myself, I run up the kitchen window and just curse the fact that the mists are there and I barely see a thing. "Right, the mists ..." I mutter under my breath and return to my station before carrying on with my self appointed task for now. Crystal said fish en papillote, that would mean vegetables cut in julienne and I am hoping that she will use one of the wines to scent up the dish. But whatever she comes up with, it's always good.
Rolling back the parchment paper neatly and folding the four cut papers, I return the rolled up one into the drawer while glancing at Elika who like I have predicted is amused by Atlantis' features on that interview. "I was actually asking Crystal this morning if she was going to give him a hard time. I inform her before glancing at Crystal and winking at her, clearly amused by the whole thing. I know it is not Atlantis' fault at all, but a part of me knows that he loves to be in trouble with Crystal whenever he can. But that is not the question right now. Hmmmm, what have you missed. Right, I haven't really spent that much time with her or anything but you know Arhiana, right? I ask her rhetorically before glancing at Crystal nibbling my lower lip for a moment. Apparently she had to leave, so that was a downer for P.B. Also apparently the Vice Governor has a big fanclub and is loved by the farmers." Despite those things, there was nothing that eventful per se, although I know that Kayne has been a little sad about Arhiana's sudden departure which she heard from Atlantis ...
That was that, as for other things Elika might have missed, I am thinking that perhaps she should be more precise. "After, other things, ask specifics and we'll try to tell you the best way we can?" I suggest to her before grabbing one of the cutting boards and a knife making sure that it is sharp enough.

Now worried that Elika might feel bad due to the whole keeping the Ryan matter in the down low due to her, Crystal looked from Elika to Lily, who she noticed was saying something as explicitly as she could. "Okay, for the record..." Crystal started stating looking at Elika and Lily both because this comment would go to them. "I do not mind that Lily is seeing Ryan, or that both of them are friends with benefits." She explained looking very amused but at the same time quite happy that Lily seemed to be tamer or something. Back in the day, she had flirts and things, but those never went on for too long due to the fact that she might get bored quickly. "It's just the fact that I can still hear her thoughts." Crystal explained mainly to Elika at this point before making a face at the thought. "Lily's mind is often in the gutter and I really do not need to be hearing or seeing visuals with what she did with my brother, or half brother, but he is still my brother and that grosses me out." Crystal said with a laughter before rolling her eyes playfully.
It was one of the reasons why she and Lily never really talked about her brother and why she had asked Atlantis to never ask Lily about Ryan Solaris. Other than that, she was fine with whatever Lily and Ryan were doing whenever he would stop by, planetside. "So, actually, sweetie..." Crystal said looking back at Elika with a knowing smile. "I am so glad that you are back because that means the both of you can talk about it, and she will expunge that momentarily from her system." Crystal poked her tongue back in Lily's direction and winked at her before returning to her preparations while listening to Elika about meeting Delaana or Lana, Lily even added some details about the PA, she had heard about that story on their way back home, the one that she was telling Elika and she shook her head with an amused smile and considering that both of them agreed on her choice and Lily was doing some of the things she would need for her preparation, she just decided on the spot to get the fish scaled, this wasn't something that she would hand the task to Elika because often it was gross.
"Okay, okay, I admit, Lana is beautiful." Crystal said grabbing one of the chopping boards and another knife before moving to the fridge to get the vegetables. "I still need the malla petals outside considering that I haven't stored any here, but in the meantime just watch that interview until they have separated, I will let you know." Crystal told Elika as she started scaling the fish as she did that and remained mute for the time being considering that Elika was watching the interview, she just looked at Lily thankfully for cutting the parchment paper and getting on the chopping task, it was a no brainer that her friend knew exactly how things should be done. Crystal looked up when Elika asked what other things she had missed. She gestured to Lily to emphasize and confirm what she was saying and nodded a few times.
"Yeah, come to think of it, I haven't seen Franz in a while, although Atlantis does say he is fine. Lara and her brother are off world apparently. Something about tying up some loose ends, I really do not have the specifics but you know how the Jedi on this planet are..." Crystal said before sighing softly, at least that never changed at all. They were all still the same and finally it was then and there she felt that Forcias seemed to have disappeared again. She remember being told that she would only be sensing Ayla permanently but the others it would depend on the situation on whether they were using the Force or not due to the fact that their signature were hidden. "I am not sure but..." Crystal nibbled her lower lip and looked at Elika thoughtfully. "There might be a chance that the lieutenant is now on her own, so perhaps you can now get me some malla petals, pretty please?" She asked with a grin.

The Lakehouse — Gardens
Was Forcias being too much? Inviting too much? He really did not know, maybe in the deepest corner of his mind, he wanted to see how he really felt towards her. He had already proven to himself that no matter what or how he thought, he couldn't just turn his back on her. He was here after all, right? What more did he need as a fact? He could have just not cared and remain there by the general and avoid that disapproving look but he did not stay there, instead he went here directly. He had told Lucine that he was here for her, and not the people inside, he had even healed her, sure he might have been breathless after his deed, some sweat might have appeared on his temples, but he did not think twice when he asked her to not move. He did not think twice about healing her.
So what?
What made him revolve around her whenever she was on the planet? Right, just the fact that it was her. . . She did not need him, by the Force she never needed anyone it seemed to her but he was here, right here and right now, healing her and telling her that it bothered him to having heard from Mace and even Atlantis that she was back and harmed. Maybe he should pull away before it really was too late but he knew that it wouldn't have changed a thing. He had been told a while ago by Horsea that once it happened, it might happen again and again and again because lust did that and lust also would make someone grow attached to the person especially if and when they were stationed on the same planet. . .
Before he had no problems with that but now that he was here somewhat permanently and often times his path would cross Lucine, it just happened. Now, he just couldn't believe that what he had with her was causing a friction within his own chain of commands, within his own family that he had sworn to follow orders and protect. The things he heard this morning, the whole segregation between the cousins and the general was just unbearable.
Forcias had momentarily a faraway look over her shoulder before he finally heard her speaking. His attention zoomed in on her, that lop-sided Corellian grin, that dry tone only made him look at her somewhat impassibly but the amused grin betrayed his facial expression. Just her mannerism right then and there made him forget temporarily his problems. She just gave him a time on when to pick her up and even handed to him the keys of her speeder. "Now why do I get the distinct impression that it will mostly involve close contact when you say that?" He asked after catching her keys and looking at her with a darken smoldering expression. He watched her momentarily walk back towards the lakehouse and just shook his head briefly with an amused smirk before he focused on her.
You do realize that we both suck at it, I truly hope that you are well aware that we'll work on it, for as long as it takes, until we get it both right. . .
Chuckling and turning around knowing that she was still on duty and technically so was he, he just kept in mind the time and got to her speeder but truth be told, right that instant, he wasn't going to go back to the frigate where he knew the general was, he knew he had to talk to someone and that someone was currently the Deputy Director of Intelligence of this planet. . .

Lakehouse - Kitchen
Elikapeka feels a tiny bit relieved when Crystal asserts that she is not bothered by the idea of Lily seeing her half brother, going on to explain that it is simply the fact that Lily's thoughts are open to her that can be a bit challenging to deal with given how frequently Lily's thoughts are, as Crystal says, in the gutter. Putting on a theatrically surprised and shocked expression, Elika looks at Lily and mouths, 'mind always in the gutter? you? no,' before laughing and then, when Crystal says that she is glad that Elika is back since it gives Lily someone to voice her thoughts to and, ideally, therefore spare Crystal from overhearing the thoughts, arches an eyebrow skeptically as she tells Crystal in an oh so serious voice, "I'll gladly be the expungee for your sake hon', and then looks heavenward as she sighs with a theatrically resigned tone, Shiraya help me."
Laughing when Lily, after reminding Crystal that she forgot to add 'hot' to the list of her new personal assistant's attributes, describes how the men in her department were looking for reasons to visit the financial department just to see Crystal's assistant, Elika says, "That must have made for a productive morning. Frowning when Lily goes on to bring her up to date on the events she had missed while on Rori, beginning with the news that Arhiana had to leave Umgul, Elika arches an eyebrow dubiously when Lily informs her of Andros' fanclub of farmers, observing, Oh, I'm sure Andros is just thrilled about that, since she knows that he, like her, is not comfortable with being the center of attention. Looking over towards Crystal when she adds a few items to the list of things that happened while Elika had been away, Elika nods when her friend has concluded, agreeing, The Jedi here are a bit cryptic at times. Enigmatic even, Elika muses, hoping that whatever had led the Drakes and Arhiana to go offworld was nothing dangerous or to be worried about. Elika is thinking that she will worry about the Drakes and Arhiana despite the fact no cause for alarm has been mentioned, but Crystal informing her that it is probably safe to gather the malla petals now without interrupting her lieutenant and Forcias breaks the train of thought, and she smiles as, setting her wine glass down before making her way to the door leading to the gardens, she tells Crystal, Malla petals coming right up hon'."
Gardens
Lucy, without turning around or slowing her pace, laughs when Forcias, having correctly interpreted her expression and tone when she had explained her plans for the evening, subtext and all, calls her out on the fact it is not comlink practice she has in mind for the evening, tapping her left temple as she jokes, "No fair reading my mind," and then, deflecting his follow up telepathic communication with humor, thinks, Twenty credits says you forget all about that work after I'm done with you, assuming he'll be able to read the thought as well as the accompanying ones hinting at what she has in mind for them once they get to her apartment.
Lucy, spotting the geek coming out of the house, stops before entering the house herself, immediately regretting the decision when Hekekia, as she starts messing around with some of the flowers for some reason, decides to get all chatty, explaining that she and her housemates are having some kind of fish and are making some for Lucy as well. Telling the geek it's not necessary to feed her doesn't work, and so, rather than debate the issue, Lucy gives up on the condition she eats after the others have finished, using the need to be alert and all as the reasoning for the decision.
Following the geek back into the kitchen after she has finished playing with the flowers, Lucy nods to Lily, saying, "Ma'am, and then to Crystal with a second, Ma'am," before heading back into the living room, taking her datapad from the pocket of her flight jacket to keep an eye on the feeds from the R-4s.
Elika, raising her eyebrows with an amused expression as she brings the malla petals over to where Crystal is preparing to cook, asks jokingly, "She's really loosened up a lot since we first met her, don't you think? Having accepted that her lieutenant will probably not ever drop her military bearing while on duty, Elika is not as bothered by it as she had been in the past, and so drops the subject, asking Crystal, Should I wash these or anything hon'?"

The Lakehouse - Kitchen
I already know, and am thankful that Kayne doesn't mind about me seeing her brother, and I also know that she just loves giving me a hard time about him. But me being me and me being vocal and needing to talk about these things, I just cannot do that with Kayne ... My attention turns in Elika's direction and I open my mouth to contest entirely that statement. "That is so not true, my mind is not often in the ... I shut up midsentence and groan at the thought, Who am I kidding, I don't believe that either anyways! before retracting entirely my statement. Okay, that is a lie, it always is and will forever be. Kayne knows it, she heard it quite often and Elika, I had already warned her, so I just look at her with an amused expression. It's not that bad, honestly ... Okay I do not believe that either."
Kayne admits that Lana is beautiful, that really means something. Enough said. "Men ... I say wryly before rolling my eyes playfully Obviously since Kayne is off the market and everyone and anyone try to not misstep around her, because oh hey, she is dating the Vice Governor's brother, That is quite enough said, I know that mostly everyone is intimidated with Andros and it takes a certain finesse to approach him. everyone just moves aside when he walks into the hallways and it doesn't help when they keep seeing the both of us with him talking."
Elika is so right about Andros' thrill being at the center of the farmers' attention. I look up momentarily to confirm that. Letting the subject run its course between Kayne and Elika without me interrupting, I just get on with slicing the vegetables after rinsing those. I smile at the results, glad to see that I can still chop correctly considering that I was shown the technique from my baby girl herself a while ago ...
Washing my hands once again when that is done, I turn to look at Elika coming back with the petals Kayne had requested a while ago, and I notice the Lieutenant and smile at her in a friendly manner. "Lieutenant, I thought she was injured? She looks fine, great even. I notice before hearing that comment from Elika just after the Lieutenant has stepped out to do her bodyguard thing. I bet that is because she is getting some, regularly. I state bluntly with an amused expression before grabbing my glass of wine and the bowl that contained the sliced vegetables, bringing that within Crystal's reach. Didn't you tell us, this morning, that Lucy was, or had been, injured? I ask curiously pointing in the kitchen's entrance with my glass of wine before adding on. She seems really great."

Holding her hand together as Crystal looked at Elika when she said that she was going to be the expungee instead of her, she mouthed the words thank you. Any other guys Lily was seeing, she would gladly do that job but right now, this concerned her own blood so to speak. She just could not and she just refused to take up that role in this matter. Crystal even looked at Lily with a disbelieving expression, and even jaded one before she arched an eyebrow when Lily amended all of her statements. "I really hope Shiraya will help you there, hon'..." Crystal said with a stifled laughter before rolling her eyes playfully.
"You know baby girl, guys also have a thing for you, but then again..." She began to stay as Lily was done speaking before gesturing to her childhood friend. "She went into the same category as me. And apparently your paralegals are very intimidated by you anyways, so whether you get along with Andros or not, they would have stood aside." She knew Lily to be ruthless when it came to her job and she was always in character whenever she stepped into the building anyways. Something about the sacredness of her job. Come to think of it, she was the same anyways and she never hesitated to bring work home if and when it was necessary.
Crystal while she continued to scale the fishes and emptying those, she nodded in Elika's direction to confirm that indeed the Jedi here were very enigmatic, heck, she was dating the grandmaster and he never talked about the others, so to speak and their businesses overall. It was always about their general wellbeing when she inquired and that was fine by her since quite honestly she did not want to find out exactly what being a Jedi entailed as for her, her original goal was to control her abilities. She could use it on command when she concentrated enough but still she refrained from doing so. Come to think of it, she was glad that her sensitivity had no spilled over the government, only a handful knew and that handful were mainly the people that were attuned to the Force anyways and those she cared about.
"Thanks, sweetie." Crystal said when she walked on out to get some of those petals that she would add to the capanata. She washed her hands when she was done with the fishes and turned on the over before moving back to her station after disposing of the fishes guts. Grabbing the parchments and placing individual fish inside, she seasoned those fishes with herbs and even added some of the Blossom wine over it. The fishes done, those were moved into the oven just in time for her to see Elika followed shortly by Lucy, back.
"Hi, Lieutenant." Crystal said with a smile, watching her go, she looked at Elika with an amused expression, nodding in confirmation to her assessment. But Lily being Lily, she had to perhaps point out the obvious after thinking she was supposed to be injured. As if on queue, Lily asked that question to Elika and perhaps it was due to Forcias, since she had felt him briefly. "She must have been healed by the Kiffar..." Crystal said softly, although the extent of the Lieutenant's injuries, she did not know but speaking about the Kiffar, she could not help but to ask Elika. "Did you see Forcias around, is he coming in and staying for a while?" If that was the case, she was going to make another plate for the man but right now she just looked at the petals and smiled. "Yes please, just rinse them."

Elikapeka tries, at first, to look as though she takes Lily's assertions that she does not always have her mind in the gutter and that it isn't that bad seriously, but since Lily herself cannot do so for very long, gives up and laughs, raising her hands and saying, "I said nothing darling," before nodding her agreement when Crystal says that she hopes Shiraya will be looking out for Elika. After Lily and Crystal have both pointed out that their respective ties to Andros may serve to occasionally intimidate prospective suitors, Elika smiles as, having seen for herself how protective Andros is of those he cares about as well as how that can translate into seeming intimidating to those who might be interested in those he cares about, she asks jokingly, "Can you blame them? and then, after Crystal points out to Lily that she can also be intimidating, makes a doubtful expression as, never having seen Lily while at work, she asks, Really? You? I can't see that. Not, Elika lifts her hands in front of herself as though to forestall any objection, that I would ever want to either, of course. I like the you, Elika lifts her wine glass as though toasting Lily, I know darling."
Laughing when, after she has returned with the malla petals, Lily and Crystal both seem to agree with Elika's ironically intended comment about her lieutenant having loosened up, Elika, arching an eyebrow when Lily suggests a possible explanation as to why her lieutenant may have loosened up, asks dubiously, "Really? You think she's loosened up? To Elika, her lieutenant seems to have retained her rigid bearing despite how long they have known one another, from the way she seldom says anything other than 'ma'am' to her constant seriousness, but, then again, on reflection, Elika can also think of a time or two when her lieutenant seemed to relax a bit for at least a little while. Those times, however, are few and far between in Elika's estimation, and so, shaking her head, she says, I guess I just don't see it. Nodding when Lily asks about her lieutenant having been injured, Elika says, She was, I guess . . . she stops and gestures towards Crystal when Crystal points out that Forcias must have healed her lieutenant, then answers Crystal's question, I didn't see Forcias when I was out there, just my lieutenant, so I'm pretty sure he left."
After rinsing the malla petals and placing them in a bowl beside where Crystal is preparing the meal, Elika takes a sip of her wine and then, as she starts gathering what she'll need to set the table, Elika asks, "So, how did Andros wind up with a fan club of farmers anyway? He must be doing something right, Elika muses aloud, gathering that the fanclub is an indication that whatever Andros has been working on in the position it had seemed to Elika he only reluctantly accepted, it has met with the approval of at least one segment of Umgul's population. Hopefully, Elika says as she begins setting the table, it means that he's finding his job fulfilling," her tone indicating that she would be pleased with the idea of Andros getting some satisfaction from what he is doing.

Elika did not need to say anything, it was clearly written on her face, besides, who am I kidding? Might as well state the truth here, at least 99% of the time, right? Why does it feel like she is yanking me, right about now? I narrow my eyes suspiciously in both Elika's and Crystal's direction before cracking up into a smile and even laugh at this whole talk. Seriously, though, I know that Kayne and Elika have a point on all accounts, as for the paralegals in my department, it certainly is their problem and not mine. I am not there to make friends, personally, and I'd rather keep things clearly separated. Helps with my sanity, and it's all business anyways, besides, in a government? You don't know who to trust and who not to trust. Pointing at myself when Elika tries to see that intimidating part of me, I just end up winking at her and blowing a kiss before telling her. "Good, stay as far away as you can from the legal department then, gorgeous." She has been warned by me personally and somehow by Kayne.
Finishing up entirely with my station, I just clear everything out that is no longer needed and dispose the things that is needed to be disposed while bringing everything back into the sink and washing my hands. To my extreme delight, I am so glad that Kayne used some of the wine for the fish and I sigh contently at the scent that is already coming from the oven. Taking a sip of my drink again after having pointed at the entrance. "You two know her best, but there is just something about her that screams satisfaction, perhaps? Granted I have not seen the Lieutenant earlier this morning but unless I am mistaken, I had distinctly heard laughter coming from outside a few moments ago. Maybe I am imagining things, but Kayne would know best. Crystal might know better with the whole emotion thing, stuff, whatever."
I know for a fact that Kayne doesn't like using the Force and I know for a fact that she will never use it unless for dire emergency which I am hoping that it will never come but apparently there are just some things, she cannot ignore, from my understanding at least? Sensing people, and whatever other junk ... Which I'll never understand, but I am really sure that she can find out, if she wanted to. Right? I mean seriously, all I know that often, she has the upper hand when it comes to knowing how a person is provided that apparently their signatures aren't hidden like some do on this planet. Leaning against the kitchen island for now, I just stand aside and go lean against the wall as Elika is setting up the table and I look at her with a faint smile when she asks that question concerning Andros. Of course, Crystal would know better about this matter, since she was asked to assist Andros in a way ... "It really isn't public matter or at least details are missing from what you might be able to read on the papers, but ... Nibbling my lower lip briefly, I just look at Crystal with a knowing smile before looking back at Elika. Actually, he just returned what belonged to the farmers, despite their protests, he was told apparently that he did not owe them anything. I start to explain before pushing myself up to sit on the counter while thinking about those other stuffs I heard about. But apparently to him, it was the right way. Of course, Crystal here has all the details, since she supervised all of the transfers but, he just did right by the farmers by returning their stolen lands to them that is located by the old raceways."

What Crystal thought about Lucy? She seemed far more relaxed in a sense, sure it wasn't noticeable but something told her that Forcias' visit had something to do with that. Maybe more appeased or something? She really did not know so to speak and she wasn't going to second guess. "I suppose that she doesn't want to break character while on a job." Crystal said softly before looking at Lily with a warm grin. "Like what you have said earlier about Lily, you know the real her, the craziness, the mind in the gutter thing, but when she is at work, it's different. She doesn't play around." It only emphasized their earlier subject and with Lily's warning to stay away from the legal department, Crystal knew that her childhood friend meant that.
"Now the Lieutenant might not have loosened up when it comes to you, hon'..." Crystal explained to Elika with a warm grin. "Because I am sure that part of her knows what is at stake?" She carried on with her explanations, after all it was Raan first who assigned Lucy to Elika and then considering how Andros was, and what she knew about the man, what she had witnessed earlier that morning too. It nearly set Andros off if it weren't for Atlantis dragging him out to the gardens. "After, it's all I psychoanalysis babble, so what do I really know? But she sure can loosen up now that she is back on this planet with you, alive and kicking, right?" It was a rhetoric statement and maybe Crystal was just talking for the sake of talking right now, then again, she had understood that some people acted the way they acted because it was how they dealt best with their job.
Pushing away that subject for now, Crystal returned to her vegetables and took the malla petals first to crush them into a mortar while she set up the stove to take care of the vegetables just to make them crunchy. Considering that Forcias was no where to be seen, well then, it sounded like it was just the four of them, then. Fine by her. Crystal continued with her cooking silently musing really but she partially paid attention to that conversation between Elika and Lily. Looking at her friends after making sure that everything was cooking correctly, she smiled momentarily remembering those things that had happened a few months back.
Quite easy for her to retrace everything, quite honestly. "Andros did several things, although he never said that it was his own doing. He always said that it was the Mist Government as a whole..." Crystal started softly before shaking her head with a warm smile. Despite Andros' alignment, people were really starting to notice a lot of things about him. "Remember when he pushed out that family that used to control the raceways back in the day?" She asked rhetorically to Elika because after all they had been together when Andros had asked for the Lieutenant's help who was still a Sergeant back then. "Well apparently, it had been televised and then that one evening, at my birthday, someone went to speak with him, Penny Parker? The woman with Raan. She told him the story about the Horicas stealing the farmers' lands and turning it into a raceways. The next day, he met up with those people and told them that he was going to do several things, namely what Lily has just told you and also he requested that whatever gifts they had brought to him would be given to the orphanages around the City, also that a certain percentage of their harvest be given to those same orphanages to sustain the kids."
Crystal smiled at the thought and just turned off the stove before grabbing four plates from the cabinet to start with the dressing, she knew that the fishes would finish cooking soon but while she started to take care of the vegetables, she looked over her shoulder from time to time in Elika's direction to finish her story about Andros. "He asked me also to withdraw the credits he had recovered with the Jedi from the raceways and just transfer those back to the families. After, more and more people are starting to be a fan of his because farmers do tend to talk a lot and they keep saying that it was all thanks to the Vice Governor in particular." Done with the plates, Crystal walked over to the oven to finally put the finishing touches on their meal and particularly this main ingredient, the fishes.
"Is Lucy going to eat with us?" Crystal asked curiously as she transferred the fishes on each plate, not forget to pour the sauce on top of it.

Finished with setting the table, Elika sits back down on a stool facing the kitchen island, listening with an amused smile that suggests she is not sure precisely how seriously she should take the warnings that Lily, reinforced by Crystal, issues about the dangers of visiting the former whilst at work. Finishing the last of her wine, Elika, having decided that the playful warnings most probably contain some degree of truth to them, nods as, reaching for the bottle of wine to refill her glass, she says, "No playing, best not to visit at work, got it. I'll be sure to make sure I arrange to meet you someplace outside of work if we ever get together during the work day, darlin'," Elika concludes.
Bobbling her head from side to side after Lily and Crystal have voiced their opinions about the personality of her lieutenant, Elika agrees, "It's all psychoanalysis babble, yes, but I suppose it's entirely possible that beneath the military bearing she maintains while on duty she is, due to recent . . . changes or additions to her life, satisfied to the point that the loosening up past history indicates she is, indeed, capable of, has become a more predominant feature of her personality. Tilting her head to the side in thought, Elika says to Crystal, You probably have a point about the at the stake thing, hon'; she . . . deciding it might be somewhat rude to be psychoanalyzing the woman that has been assigned to protect her, Elika shakes her hand and waves a hand to indicate her intent to dismiss the topic, instead answering Crystal's question, She said she'd eat after we ate, hon'. Doesn't want to be distracted I'm guessing."
Picking up the discussion about Andros and what he has been doing in his role as Vice Governor recently, Elika, assuming that since Crystal more likely than not approved the budget for the project concerning the Raceways he will be bringing to her, asks her friend, "What can you tell me about the Raceways project Andros has in mind?"

Hopping off the counter and walking to one of the stools, I look at Elika with an amused grin. "Gorgeous, just say the magic word, and I will pull myself from the office. I tell her with a wink before giggling at the thought. Crystal knows how to get me out and knows how to get a hold of me, I don't see a reason why Elika shouldn't know. Coffee and/ or lunch." I tell her with a wink before sitting down and remaining mute for the time being while listening to Crystal as she tells more stuff about the Lieutenant but also the Vice Governor and what he has done over the months for the planet.
I guess I can see why people are intimidated by him but at the same time, he is so caring ... "You know what I don't get ... I start saying to no one in particular as I grab the napkin and place it on my lap. Why people do not try to get past his shield so to speak. Okay I get it, it may be hard and all, but isn't there someone who, I don't know makes him relax or something? I mean c'mon, the guy is good looking, he is after all lover boy's twin brother, so why is he still alone? Right, complicated guy ... Complicated guy, huh? The deeper you dig, the deeper you get into the rabbit hole or something?"
Pouting upon finding out that the Lieutenant isn't going to eat with us, I narrow my eyes in the direction of where she had gone off. "That isn't going to work ... I say after a moment of silence. Seriously, whether she eats with us or not, she will be distracted too when she is on her own. And we have a radar or something, Casting a momentary glance at Crystal. In her person. But who am I to contradict her? Dubiously looking in Elika's direction with an innocent smile. Want me to convince her or something? Besides, this is Umgul, and apparently they keep tightening security everywhere."
At least that is what I hear from lover boy, apparently, the Intelligence Head Honcho knows her dealio and regularly consults all feeds around the city. Maybe it's something else ... Shrugging my shoulders and sighing softly before shaking my head, I'll never understand military personnel in a way. Putting that to rest for now unless Elika tells me to do something about it, because I will, I end up looking at her with an amused expression when she asks about the raceways from Crystal. "Oh yeaaaaah, already climbing up the walls ... I say teasingly before chuckling. It hasn't been a day yet, gorgeous. I am just joking but then again, I perfectly understand her, am I not the same? I sure as hell am, but leaving that matter to Crystal to reply or not, I just grab the plate and thank her with a warm smile. Just by looking at the things you have cooked, already heaven."

Lily, like she and Elika, was addicted to coffee, if it weren't coffee, it was definitely wine and any alcoholic beverages she could get her hands on, that much Crystal knew. "Just send her a message, either she tells you she is in the middle of something and therefore cannot make it, or that standard thing; 'name the place and time'." She said with a knowing smile, it was how Lily worked, and most of the time she wouldn't say no for a break and meeting up with friends for that said break.
Understanding Elika's meaning that she wanted to push the subject aside, she just moved on like requested and listened to the reply to her earlier question. Since the oven was still warm even though she had turned it off, Crystal placed that plate into it, to keep the food warm. There was no way, she was going to try to convince Lucy for now, if she did not want any distraction, then who was she to say otherwise? After all, Lucy wasn't Crystal's bodyguard, although inside of her, in a sense, she felt bad. Pushing that thought aside for now as she gave Lily and Elika a plate each before placing hers on the empty table setting, she sat down on the stool and refilled her glass of wine while listening Lily going on about Andros.
"Andros is a very complicated man, baby girl, he just hates being at the center of attention. Like you have said though, it goes way deep." Crystal was quite aware of some underlying reasons, she just chose to not share with Lily despite the fact she had been here for a while. She knew Elika knew some of those reasons but when it concerned Andros, that was his own prerogative to whether share or not but she knew some stuff, mostly that was thanks to Atlantis when they had a talk a long time ago about himself in particular and she remembered it opened to a lot of revelations that she wasn't expecting at all. Glancing at Lily when she mentioned a person that could relax him, Crystal laughed softly and shook her head. "Baby girl, honestly, why does most of your subtext contain... Actually never mind about me asking. It wouldn't be you, if it were the other way around." Taking a sip of her wine before placing the glass down, she looked at Elika when Lily said that she could do something about Lucy joining them to eat.
Quite honestly, Crystal did not mind if Lucy did join them, after, it wasn't her decision alone, it was Elika's first and foremost and Crystal knew that Lily could be very convincing if she wanted to. Again, Crystal left that choice to Elika and then quickly wondered if she wanted to hold a prayer for Shiraya but before she could ask the question, she had been asked about Andros' proposal. "Can't wait for the proposal, huh?" She asked teasingly as she smirked at Lily's joke too, who had clearly noticed. "What can I tell you, actually quite a lot, but I am going to spoil your surprise. Although one dominant thing, I can tell you, he has the ideas, he exactly knows what he wants to that place, but he made no placements so to speak and it's going to be huge." She smiled knowing that Andros might have done a few things on purpose, she remembered his notes and the activities he wanted the raceways to offer. "Just think of it as a big entertainment and mall, one that he will ask you to envision from A to Z." She had made a tentative projection to it, of course she could only give him a certain limit because she knew that there were other projects that were needed to be undertaken.
Smiling at Lily's compliment before blowing a kiss in her direction, she looked back at Elika and still Crystal did not pick up her cutlery, instead she took her glass of wine. "How about we either toast or hold a prayer to Shiraya just to say in both cases that we are all happy that you are back, that we are together again, but also to having a relaxing afternoon just the three of us?" Crystal suggested softly, she was truly glad that Elika was back here and unharmed so to speak. She had so many things to be grateful for but right now, just the fact that she was with her two close friends, that was perfect enough, what more could she ask for?

Elikapeka laughs when Lily reveals the magic word needed to summon her forth from her office when desired, nodding her head after Crystal confirms the veracity of the revelation and joking, "Understood darlin'; I'll be sure to invoke the secret incantation when I'm released from my confinement and allowed back to my office and we can enable one another and indulge in our shared addiction to our hearts content. Turning towards Crystal, Elika says, We wouldn't leave you out either, hon', and we'll have to make a regular thing of it. All work and no play and yadda yadda, right?"
Shrugging with an expression crafted to silently suggest that she has no answer to Lily's question about why no one attempts to surmount the sturdy, extensive, elaborate, and foreboding walls that Andros has surrounded himself with, Elika, who has been allowed to see some small portion of what lays behind those walls and who understands, by virtue of the fact that she has walls of her own beyond which few are permitted, why Andros might have constructed and maintained them, nods her agreement when Crystal concludes her answer to Lily's question with an affirmation of Lily's guess that the answers lay fathoms deep down.
Holding up her hands as though surrendering when Lily asks if she should endeavor to convince Elika's lieutenant to join them, Elika says, "No, no, that's quite alright, really. She's one of those beings that don't really change their mind once they've made it up, you know? Besides, Elika crinkles her nose, I get the feeling she'd see it as neglecting her duty to let her guard down even a little even if there are reasons she could afford to do so, you know? Shaking her head decisively, Elika concludes, We're probably lucky she even agreed to eat at all while she's on duty, so it's probably best not to tempt fate."
Smiling and silently mouthing her thanks when Crystal places a plate in front of her, Elika cringes with a theatrically guilty smile when Lily points out that Elika is already climbing the walls, asking, "That obvious, huh? I did last a few hours at least, right? Well . . . Elika crinkles her nose with a laugh, admitting, kind of, sort of anyway. Holding her hands up to confirm that she is guilty as charged, Elika, after listening to Crystal explain a little bit about what she knows about the project Andros has for her, looks at Lily pointedly and arches an eyebrow as she says to Crystal, Thanks for the preview hon', and since someone has kindly pointed out that I may be exhibiting tendencies that suggest I may be a bit of a workaholic, which I'm most certainly not, I promise I'll make no mention of anything work related again for the rest of the day. Winking at Lily, Elika, her left hand reaching up absently to clasp the figurine of Shiraya that lays beneath her shirt, smiles gratefully when Crystal asks if they should toast or hold a prayer to Shiraya before eating, not comfortable with imposing her beliefs on her friends even though she doubts they would mind her praying, and so suggesting, A toast to being together again and having a relaxing afternoon sounds lovely hon'. Raising her glass, Elika, after a pause in which she tries to think of something eloquent or amusing or both, shrugs with a laugh and settles for, To being together again and having a relaxing afternoon. After drinking from her glass, Elika sets it down, tugging at her right sleeve and then her left as, looking at her plate, she smiles and says to Crystal, It looks and smells amazing hon', thank you for this."
