Lakehouse
Franz after getting off of the airspeeder which he let sit on the driveway of the lakehouse, had replied to Elika that he would have what they were having. He did not follow inside just yet and had decided to first check the surroundings of the lakehouse just as a precautionary measure although he was pretty sure that nothing was wrong at all especially with the added security measures that had been placed at this place, again as a precautionary measure, requested by Andros in particular a while back and Atlantis too. Franz knew what the three women here represented to everyone. Either from being higher ups in the government or just because whenever the mist in the pool area had been cleared, the vision was just clear as day to this place...
After being satisfied that nothing was out of place, Franz joined everyone to the recessed area and smiled faintly just seeing the three of them being close. It was heartwarming although he felt a little guilty that he was intruding in that, even if he was invited. He took a deep soothing breath and walked towards them before jumping down to sit down right there while he listened to Elika's last statement.
He narrowed his eyes suspiciously before glancing from Elika towards her two friends. "I guess this is the time to actually tell you two that Elika added a plus one to that package." Franz shook his head with an amused grin before grabbing the bottle of wine and pouring some into the glass, he could indulge to some alcoholic beverage considering that he was officially now off duty, although he knew that he wasn't going to drink that much either anyways, so he could still keep his senses alerted to any incoming threat but even if he knew that there was probably nothing to worry about, he wasn't going to take that chance.
Putting the bottle down onto the table right there, Franz leaned back and looked up with a noticeable grin just seeing the clear sky, he had to admit that felt good. Smiling again, he looked back down at the fire this time and was somewhat mesmerized by it for a moment. But he snapped out of it and looked at Elika with a suspicious expression. "I am still thinking that you did that on purpose earlier at TaSpa! by the way." He told her teasingly before chuckling and then taking another sip of his wine.

Gasping theatrically as though I am completely in shock by Elika's question, I look at her soon after when she added a comment to her original question as if it is the obvious thing. But I decide not to comment on that right now especially when I feel her hand on my back. I smile warmly and wrap my arm around her before telling her softly as I lean my head against hers. "Stop going away for too long, then." I tell her teasingly before smiling warmly again although I do know that her work is important for her too so it is not a reproach. Whatever she does, whatever makes her happy, I will always be supportive of her decisions anyways, that goes without saying ...
Looking over my shoulder when I hear Crystal speaking I look at her with a caught expression before taking a deep breath as I notice Elika's expression before looking at Crystal again with a very innocent expression. "I do not know what you are talking about." I reply to her teasingly and jokingly, although that statement of mine can be pass as the truth because Elika and I weren't in fact coming up with a devious plan for Atlantis. So my hands are clean from that but Crystal doesn't need to do that anyways, although I trust the fact that she knows me enough to know that I will never actually do such a thing anyways.
"Yes, let's." I reply as we all head towards the recessed lounge area, and when I am sitting down, I take another sip of my wine and listen attentively to Elika when she makes us aware of tomorrow's plans. "Awww so sweet." I tell Elika completed with my hand over my heart. "Although do not blame me if she ends up being our waitress when we are there and that you automatically skip a beat while she is speaking." I wink at Elika playfully before giggling lightly, after all that first time we got there, the same day I had arrived in Umgul the first time, which was baby girl's birthday too, I wasn't the one who zoned out when Kalyani was listing the dishes of the day.
Looking at Franz when he finally joins us after doing whatever it was he has done, I furrow my eyebrows when he clearly states that Elika has added a plus one, that can only mean for him especially with his second comment that he is blaming Elika. I look suspiciously at her and purse my lips thoughtfully. "Objection, she said, a mandate is not equivalent to an invitation, she also said." I clearly repeat what was her statement back at the restaurant before giggling in amusement. "Oh gorgeous, point to you. But I am pretty sure you did that on purpose." I tell her playfully with a wink before glancing at Franz knowingly. "This is me saying that I am actually glad that you will be joining us into further relaxation tomorrow, Franz."

"Uh huh..." Crystal replied with an unconvinced expression on her features before she smiled and just shook her head while taking a deep relaxing breath. Crystal knew that might not had been their topic and besides, if it were, she really did not see both of her friends convincing Atlantis into proposing. There were still dos and don'ts in her honest opinion and yes they could all joke about it but going as far as telling the other to do it. Nope, that was just off limits to her anyways.
Turning around to head to the lounge area, Crystal removed her slippers and placed her feet beneath her while relaxing comfortably right here and right now. She was definitely enjoying her quiet moment away from all that spotlight that was going to occur tonight and quite honestly, she did not feel guilty one bit for not attending that event. Why would she? Despite being for a good cause, Crystal will never deny that, she was never comfortable in those type of events anyways... But tomorrow she would certainly wire a transfer to that cause because it was definitely worth it.
Crystal took a sip of her wine before listening to Elika attentively. She smiled warmly at the sound of sleeping in, although Crystal rarely slept in, but if she could, then all the better. Laughing at the back and forth between Elika and Lily, Crystal ended up lifting her empty hand to say that she was staying out of that. Although Crystal had to admit that Lily did have a point there, her childhood friend had pretty much told Crystal and Elika that they were both drooling. "Sweetie, are you actually saying that you are soooo over Kalyani, now?" Crystal could not help but to ask, because she knew that more or less she wasn't in a way, she still found that particular waitress attractive anyways and Crystal could spend the day just watching her talk without listening to a thing she might be saying. But that was just Crystal...
She snapped out of her thoughts though, when Franz joined them and she looked at him dubiously when he announced that there was actually a plus one which she clearly understood that he was the plus one in question. Crystal had an amused smile on the corner of her lips before glancing at Lily. "We'll make sure your cousins won't find out then..." Crystal jokingly said before looking at Elika again as Lily spoke. "Motion to extend the invite list denied... Well then," Crystal looked back at Lily playfully and giggled softly. "We'll have to make that bikini fantasy happen for your sake then. Since you were really looking forward to just a girl thing." Crystal giggled again before rolling her eyes playfully and taking a sip of her drink. She had to admit though, that it was a good thing that Franz would be with them tomorrow, the Force knew he needed a break too especially with what he had been dealing with lately, or so she thought.
"Don't be too surprised though with the owner's or manager's of that place enthusiasm. I am sure that Cosimo will just be delighted to see a new face there."

Elikapeka shrugs with an innocent expression when Franz suggests that she acted purposefully at TaSpa!, saying, "I have absolutely no idea what you mean old woman. None at all. Laughing when Lily and Crystal both call her on the attempt to make it sound as though only Lily was possibly looking forward to the possibility of seeing Kalyani, Elika raises her free hand as though in surrender, admitting with a slight flush rising in her cheeks, Ok, Ok. I never said that Lily was alone in appreciating Kalyani's waitressing skills, did I? Adopting an exaggeratedly worried expression, Elika leans over towards Lily and asks quietly, That obvious, huh? Heaving a theatrical sigh, Elika adds, She does have an amazing voice though, with the cute accent . . . in a purposefully distracted tone, then shakes her head as though coming out of a reverie, sipping her wine before saying to Crystal with an amused smile, So I guess the answer to your question would be a big, big no hon'."
Glad that neither Crystal nor Lily have any objection to Franz joining them, which is not terribly surprising really since Elika knows that he is dear to all three of them, Elika nods in agreement with Crystal's advice to Franz, smiling as she says, "Cosimo is definitely enthusiastic about making his customers happy, trust us. Actually, all of the employees are pretty dedicated to what they do. Waving a hand, Elika decides to let the experience speak for itself and simply concludes, You'll see for yourself tomorrow."

"Lies." Franz told her playfully before taking a sip of his wine again while he leaned back comfortably against his seat and closed his eyes peacefully. Usually around this time of the day he would be into a random training room to train further or even in a meditation room to just reflect on his day more or less and maybe just to calm down from the thoughts that were really downing his mood. But right now, none of those thoughts were coming to mind, he was completely at peace and he was with people that he cared about.
Franz smirked briefly when he overheard Elika's statement about that particular waitress. He even heard what she had whispered to Lily and he opened his eyes again and looked at the three women with a playful expression. "I can live with the fact that my cousins will not find out..." He tilted his head on the side and chuckled playfully. "And I promise to make sure that I won't even glance for too long at the waitress in return."
Considering that it seemed that Elika sounded like she did have a thing for her, then that pretty much said that Kalyani was off limits, he could live with that too. Franz looked in front of him, at the fire and smiled warmly as he lifted his hand and created a ball of fire just to manipulate it right above the fire pit and he let the Force flow through him as he manipulated that into creating three letters, the ladies' names initial side by side. He smiled warmly and glanced at them all before adding a thank you beneath their initials.
"I guess that I will indeed see for myself tomorrow then." Franz said with a grin, before he cut his connection to the Force and returned the fire into the pit securely. "Your brother taught me that." He said after a moment as he glanced at Crystal with a warm smile and he even looked at Lily briefly but yes, he was looking more in particular at Crystal considering that not only Atlantis had been teaching her from time to time but Franz had also overheard that Ryan had been teaching Crystal to heal.
"But anyways, when should I expect your bikini fantasy to happen so I can just put something on my eyes to cover them?" He asked jokingly before laughing and rolling his eyes. He took a deep breath and glanced at Elika. "Because I am afraid that you won't actually cover my eyes for being too distracted?"

Nodding very slowly to emphasize that it is that obvious, I end up fanning myself with my empty hand when Elika goes on to describe Kalyani's voice. "Now we are talking." I tell Elika teasingly before pretending to shiver on the spot. "I will have to pay more closer attention tomorrow, that is for sure." Giggling before taking a sip of my wine as I listen to baby girl this time, obviously, that bikini fantasy has to happen and very soon. The day after tomorrow, that should be doable and who knows maybe if Kalyani is not working, I may do something devious ... Giggling at my thought and nodding to confirm Crystal's statement, I end up looking at her before racking my brain for my next statement. "Dovremmo invitare, sai ..." (We should invite, you know ...) I tell her mischievously before glancing briefly at Elika and then I end up giggling and taking a deep breath. Oh gosh, I am so mean, here I am speaking in a dialect ...
Breathing softly to control my laughter before I actually down my wine, I grab the bottle and pour some wine into my glass again before lifting the bottle to offer to serve whoever needs to be served and then I return the bottle onto the table before noticing that Franz seems to be playing with the fire right then and there. I smile warmly at what is written above the fire pit and I am pretty sure that those three letters are ours. I look at Franz and shake my head to tell him that he does not owe me any thanks really.
"I do not know why you are thanking us," I start telling him with a grateful tone and expression. "But don't mention it, I am just glad that you are here, but you're welcome." I lift my glass of wine in his direction before taking a sip of my drink and then I look back at Franz mischievously since apparently, Ryan had been the one who taught him that trick. "You don't have, by any chance, some embarrassing dirt about," Nudging baby girl teasingly before adding on. "Her brother, do you?"
After my question, I end up giggling when Franz asks when he should expect that bikini fantasy because he doesn't believe that Elika would actually cover his eyes if that happened. "Why should you be covering your eyes?" I ask him playfully before shaking my head. "I mean c'mon, you have seen Crystal's PA, she is hot, so feel free to stare."

Crystal pursed her lips and looked upwards briefly, teasingly. "Is that how you would qualify it, sweetie, waitressing skills?" Crystal asked in a very unconvinced tone before stifling a laughter. "For what it is worth, I did skip a beat too." Crystal admitted as she lifted her empty hand before rolling her eyes semi-exasperatedly, more due to the fact that she still remembered what Lily had said then and there to make Crystal and Elika too, to snap out of their reverie. Crystal glanced at her childhood friend with an amused expression before laughing at her statement about inviting a particular someone too.
"Gosh, you'll be the death of me and Elika..." Thankfully she wasn't sipping her wine because Crystal migh have spilled that all in front of her and she took a deep breath before glancing from Lily to Franz, she knew that he understood that since after all he had known long enough her brothers, but Elika, not so sure although that one word was close enough to basic too, in any case, Crystal looked at Elika meaningfully and smiled. "If you don't stop her, sweetie, she'll end up inviting not only Delaana but also Kalyani for that bikini fantasy." Crystal explained before shaking her head somewhat exasperatedly this time. "But glad to know that it is still a big no." Drumming her fingertips on the side of her wine glass, she narrowed her eyes thoughtfully. "Say though, if I told that very cynical, relentless and flexible person that she was only allowed to invite one, who would it be to you, sweetie?" Taking a sip of her wine and actually finishing her glass, she extended it in Lily's direction to get a refill and then she added on. "Delaana or Kalyani?"
Letting Elika mull on that while Franz seemed to be canalizing the Force to him, she turned to look at him and then saw what he was doing, that caused her to smile warmly, her smile did grow wider when she clearly understood what he was trying to emphasize right then and there and she nudged him gently to tell him that there were no thanks needed really before Crystal pointed at Lily who had said it all, really. Then, she looked upwards when Lily clearly started digging about Ryan, before Crystal shook her head. "That is cheating, baby girl, Ryan never asked me about any dirts about you." Crystal said with a faint laughter before adding on. "Or maybe I should consider about telling him myself." Shrugging one shoulder nonchalantly before looking at Elika playfully and winking at her, Crystal leaned back against the seat as she really felt content right now.
Although quite honestly, Elika did not need to reply to her previous question, but she was certain that Lily would get on that and maybe press the issue but for now, just for now it sounded like Franz was also teasing Elika and Lily was somewhat returning the favor to Franz. Crystal giggled at their banter and shook her head in disbelief, although it wasn't that surprising to her to say the least. Lily was just Lily, like always, and the three of them were somewhat caught in the middle of it...

Elikapeka briefly considers protesting when Franz expresses his concern that she might be too distracted to cover his tender, innocent eyes if needed, but decides that doing so would probably only invite stories about previous times when she had been distracted or otherwise noticeably affected by being near certain individuals, and so ultimately decides not to comment. Smiling as she sips her wine and listens to the back and forth between the others, Elika absently hooks her free pinkie beneath the thin silver chain she wears around her neck, her thumb keeping her sleeve in place, and toys with it as she listens.
Mouthing 'you're welcome' when Franz creatively employs the Force to manipulate the fire to create a thank you for her, Lily, and Crystal, Elika smiles with a shrug of her shoulders when Crystal calls her on having listed waitressing skills as foremost among the features about Kaylani that she had been taken by when it was obviously not the case. "Who wouldn't be? Elika asks with a theatrical sigh when Crystal notes that she, too, had been affected by Kaylani. Laughing and shaking her head when Crystal - after Lily has made a suggestion in another language that Elika could not make out other than a guess that the word similar to invite in Basic was invite in the other language - asks her who she would prefer be invited if Lily could only invite one person, Elika, who does not know enough about either of the women in question to make even a playful decision any easier, answers in an amused tone, That's just way too difficult a choice hon', so I'd defer the decision to our flexible, cynical, and relentless host," she concludes, looking at Lily and winking.
Leaning over when Lily offers to refill everyone's glasses, Elika thanks her and then settles back comfortably as Crystal and Lily playfully joke about the stories that might be shared about Ryan or Lily, Lily asking for some about Ryan from Franz and Crystal pointing out she could provide some for Ryan about Lily. Leaning over towards Franz, Elika jokes in a whisper, "Man code prevents you from divulging anything, right? Don't let her use any lawyer tricks to get you to talk, or you're liable to end up with your man card revoked before the night is over. Patting his arm, she suggests, Stay strong."

Franz opened his mouth first and then closed it again when Lily tried to get some information from him about Ryan. He knew that he had to thread very carefully with his next statement but thankfully Crystal pretty much saved him from answering that. Then he heard Elika's whispered statement, he smiled as he actually was pretty amused by Lily to get the information from him but he did have that man code, that was true. "I don't want my man card revoked before the night is over!" He muttered silently with wide eyes before looking at Lily and soon he cleared his throat.
"My dearest Ljiljana Jankovic, if I told you everything that was to know about Ryan Solaris, I am afraid that I may end up in a tough spot, therefore..." Franz tilted his head on the side and closed one of his eyes briefly. "I will not say anything that can be incriminating for myself and Ryan and I certainly want nothing to be held against me." He smiled widely and very innocently although he was certain that the lawyer herself might not be convinced by that, heck he wasn't convinced by it either, so he preferred silence right now.
The fact though that there might be another plus one to that bikini fantasy got Franz to purse his lips to prevent himself from laughing, that had only been doable while he was thinking of something else and while he was getting his wine glass refilled. He thanked Lily for that and smiled before leaning back comfortably. "Then again, if you are anxious to find out, why don't you call him and ask him about any potential embarrassing dirt?" Franz asked very innocently although he knew that if she did cave in, that would mean she would lose the bet, right? So Franz was really hoping to devious that conversation into something else.
"If it were under any circumstances, yes maybe I would stare, but the PA is not for me to stare at." Franz said with a brief chuckle before he furrowed his eyebrows and turned to look in a distance, there was nothing worrisome in their immediate surroundings, no it was more afar but it was very faint and unless he was mistaken then... The last time he had felt a similar current was when a certain darksider had been here for Andros, but still that was faint and it went quick as it came before he scratched the top of his head.
"Excuse me for a moment, ladies." Franz placed his glass down on the table and stood up from his seat before jumping out of the recessed lounge area to head over towards the pool. He grabbed his datapad and sent a message to every councilors of the Mist Order for them to either confirm or infirm that he was dreaming...

Casting an innocent glance in baby girl's direction when she clearly states that I will be the death of both she and Elika, I purse my lips and shake my head with my eyes closed ... That is like a hyperbole statement, so why would I even do that? Although it turns out that I am the one who is supposed to choose on who to invite for that bikini fantasy. I sigh with reluctance before nibbling my lower lip, until I come up with the best solution, at least in my mind it is the best solution. But first things first ... "Gorgeous, really, it goes with preferences first." I tell her factually with a knowing expression. "Are you either blonde, blue eyes or brunette with a," I pretend to shiver on the spot before adding on with a dreamy tone "Voice that could undress you on the spot?"
I take a sip of my drink and end up smiling soon after giving Elika that other potential option. "Or we could always have one of them the day after tomorrow and the other next weekend?" I wink at her playfully, obviously I will stop at nothing to get my bikini fantasy. Nothing whatsoever.
Apparently now, I am cheating, but who ever said I play fair anyways? I look at baby girl and sigh reluctantly, my sigh turns even heavier when Franz clearly states that he will not incriminate him into that after I notice that Elika and Franz are actually whispering to one another. I look at the two of them very suspiciously and nudge teasingly gorgeous. "No whispering, I do not read on lips." I playfully whine before taking a sip of my wine again as I lean back once more comfortably, I am glad that the fire right now is keeping me warm, speaking of keeping people warm, I remember Lana saying something about that when I gave her those love letters ...
But before I can even say something about that, it's definitely Delaana that we should be inviting the day after, I notice Franz excusing himself after he has looked over a distance. I furrow my eyebrow and notice him taking his datapad, is there something actually wrong? I know someone who can actually answer that, or at least maybe get a gist of something occurring around, right? "Baby girl, is everything okay?" I ask her with a concerned expression, I am sure that she will understand, that I don't mean her right now but just around, she is the Force sensitive, and Crystal can actually be the one to confirm or not if there is something wrong ...

Crystal could not help but to snort a faint laughter when Lily described Kalyani's voice or at least the effect it might have on people... Placing her hand on her mouth to really control her laughter, Crystal looked at her childhood friend and shook her head. "And now I obviously know what Ryan does to make you lose your clothes." And Crystal just couldn't believe she had just said that statement, she should probably blame the wine, that is a good idea. Definitely the wine to blame right now even though she only had a glass so far and was going on her second.
That would clearly not work, so she just lowered herself to her seat and listened to Lily's suggestion about having either Lana or Kalyani the day after tomorrow and the other the very next weekend. "Are you sure we should let Lily decide, sweetie?" Crystal asked with fake uncertainty, after all, to be fair, she really didn't care, this place was as much as it was hers or Lily's or even Elika's. But Crystal still believed in democracy and it really worked out for her that they were an odd number so there would never be a tie. She smiled at the thought and watched as Elika and Franz exchanged words in a very low tone, but unlike Lily who had clearly stated she couldn't read on lips, Crystal could...
And with that, Crystal laughed again when Franz stated that he would never say a thing that would put him in a tough spot. "He does have a point there, baby girl, you should call Ryan and ask him yourself..." Crystal suggested playfully which would then make Lily lose her bet but instead of going with the teasing, Crystal's face lost all of its sense of humor, it turned into a concerned expression as she watched Franz just walk away to tend to something.
Crystal tilted her head on the side thoughtfully and even though she heard Lily's question, Crystal perceived that nothing was actually wrong right now. Fact remained that, Crystal was more or less trained in some core powers of the Force but her connection to it wasn't always on if she could put it that way. Unlike Franz or even Atlantis, Crystal never went as far as her general vicinity anyways...
"Can't tell..." Crystal said sincerely before sighing softly as she shook her head. "I am not trained like them and don't even think about asking because knowing how the Jedi are on this planet, you might never get a straight answer from them..." Crystal knew that for a fact, many times she had witnessed Atlantis taking care of something and he never overly shared about his dealings that much. So she was maybe being presumptuous right now, but she did not see Franz sharing either if he was asked what was going on and if everything was alright...

Laughing when Lily, unsurprisingly, does not relent in her quest to try and get Elikapeka to make a choice as to whom will be invited to the bikini fantasy party, Elika shakes her head and says in a sing-song voice, "Not making a choice beautiful, which she knows will not stop her friend from either making the choice herself or, as she has threatened, simply invite both of the women in question on different days. Elikapeka has always admired Lily's self-confidence, unable to imagine herself summoning the courage to initiate even a simple conversation with either of the women, much less invite them to anything; doing so would require Elika to overcome her tendency to imagine all of the arguments against speaking to them, all of the potential ways she could embarrass herself, or any of the other innumerable fears or worries she is subject to in the majority of social situations. On some level, deep down, Elika at least suspects that the reasons for her anxiety lay buried within a desire for solitude borne from fear of loss and a belief that Noelani's death was also the death of something vital within her; but her knowledge of the suspicions is transitory at best since, in an ironic twist, the tampering of her memories that she was subjected to after Noelani's death hinders her efforts to come to terms with it. Nodding her head when Crystal asks if she is sure leaving the decision in Lily's hands is the wisest course of action, Elika says, Very sure hon'," in a slightly distant tone, her idle thoughts having reached the carefully constructed wall within her mind that, as designed, turns her thoughts back and obfuscates them, erasing their tracks and leaving her feeling as though her mind had simply wandered and gone temporarily blank.
Sipping her wine, Elika frowns slightly when Franz excuses himself. Not having missed the pensive furrowing of his brow, Elika sits up, tensing slightly as she wonders what could be responsible for the sudden shift in his mood. Lily beats her to asking Crystal whether her Force sensitivity might have also alerted her to whatever had caused the change in Franz, and Elika relaxes slightly when Crystal answers since it would seem that whatever had caught Franz's attention is not likely to be anything occurring in the immediate vicinity. Elika is not sure what Crystal's training has taught her, but imagines that if there were any eminent danger Crystal would be aware of it. "I'm sure if it's anything important Franz will let us know," Elika suggests, imagining that while there are things the Jedi might keep from them, he would not keep them in the dark if they were somehow involved in whatever is happening.

Considering that insofar, Franz had not yet received any replies from anyone, he wondered if he was actually making a big deal out of this. Then again, it was just the fact that he had clearly felt something unusual as brief as it was and it just disappeared. Franz knew that it couldn't have been Andros at all, his cousin's signature was different, not as... Franz took a deep breath before shaking his head and he pocket his datapad setting it on vibrate tone.
Now he wondered still why would a darksider hide if his or her intent wasn't that bad considering that even if this planet still had a Jedi Order, it was still government run that clearly labeled Umgul as neutral. Although anything Force users related, it would automatically fall into the Mist Order's jurisdiction... For now though, he guessed that everyone was busy so he might get that answer sooner or later.
Turning on his heels since he knew that he might have caused some worry over there, Franz returned to the recessed lounge are and sat back down on the seat looking at the three of them. He smiled briefly and sighed soon after. "I did not mean to worry the three of you, so I am very sorry about that." Franz said sincerely since he had more or less overheard a snippet of their conversation and he looked right at Elika with a faint smile.
"Nope, nothing important, at least nothing you three should be concerned about." Franz said sincerely as after all, what he had felt or briefly felt wasn't near here, so Franz retook his glass of wine and leaned back against the seat before closing his eyes briefly.
"Did you by the way wanted me to order in now, or did you still want to wait for a little longer?" He asked curiously as he really did not want to worry them any further and really they shouldn't think about this really when it wasn't impacting them currently. But ever since he had been tasked by Atlantis to find most of those that were attuned to the Force, there were just some habits that he did not shed just yet, so that brief presence there, it might not had been done on purpose, unless it was just a way to just confuse all of them and stay out of the MO's radar.

"That is completely irrelevant, baby girl." I tell her dismissively when it comes to Crystal knowing how Ryan does it to make me lose my clothes in a heartbeat. Oh no, this is not the current topic and right now I am more interested in knowing what makes gorgeous weak in the knees, okay so I already know about the accent part and the voice but when it comes to looks, no idea ... I narrow my eyes in Elika's direction and say. "Gorgeous," After she replies with that sing song voice that really brings me some good memories when we were in the bathroom during Crystal's birthday, but that is not the point, the point right now is. "Remember when I have told you that I wouldn't leave this place until I know that you are happy because you deserve some happy and also I love being happy?" Sure that was a while ago, and sure the person back then in question was someone else, but my point still holds, anyways. "Now that I am actually settled here and that I have a job, one of these days, gorgeous, I will see you happy," I point at myself and at Crystal and our general surroundings because I do mean the others who aren't currently here. "Not just due to us, but because of someone else."
I will not deny the fact that I do not know her entire life and what might have happened but I do know an important tidbit, one that I will never tell at all because I am not supposed to say that I know, so I just leave it at that and I wink at Elika very mischievously just to let her know that I still do have that plan and that I can be very capable of inviting both Delaana and Kalyani on different days. Soon enough though, I look at baby girl when she ends up asking gorgeous if I should decide on that matter. Obviously! "Of course, I mean, gorgeous did say that I should and you too, more or less." Although Crystal did not really it that way but ah well semantics, right? Right ...
My musings are cut short though when Crystal says that I should probably call Ryan to get the dirt from him and him only, I am about to reply in a favorable way before retracting those thoughts of mine and end up looking at baby girl very suspiciously. "Wait ... I know what you are doing Kayne, and I am not about to lose that bet." I tell her decisively before poking my tongue out playfully although now that it has been brought up multiple times, I do want to comm Ryan, but no, just no, I am not about to do that, this is supposed to be a foursome, so let's leave it at that. Although I am not certain for how long this is going to remain this way because Franz is still a Jedi and maybe he will have to go.
Baby girl did answer a few moments ago that she isn't trained like them, but what is that supposed to mean really? Oh right ... Maybe Franz sensed something that Crystal couldn't? What do I know really and like baby girl has said, I do not see him sharing overtly if I end up asking him what is going on. Casting a dubious glance at Elika as I arch my eyebrow as if asking her 'are you really sure about that?' because important or not, I don't really see him sharing. And what do you know, Franz comes back and says it's nothing the three of us should be worried or concerned about until he goes on if he should order in now. I look at him with narrowed eyes as if I am trying to decipher everything about him, if he is telling the truth or not, but clearly right now, I give up and just end up saying as I look at Elika and Crystal. "Majority rules, but for my case it's a sure why not." I look back at him with a warm smile and finally take a sip of my wine ...

Crystal had really nothing further to add considering that Lily was saying it all for her, she had the underlying reasons more or less since that one evening she and Elika had spoken about Noey, someone that was dear to Elika and her picture was in her room, after all Crystal had seen Atlantis handling that with care and even though Crystal felt compelled to say something right now, to tell Lily that perhaps she shuld let it go, Crystal just couldn't because deep down inside of her, she understood her childhood friend's reasonings. Although that was a story for another time and currently Crystal was just sipping her wine with an amused expression on her features. If Lily had her mind set on something, she always made it happen, or nearly all the time made it happen, Crystal knew that much about her anyways...
Now though, despite that joyous atmosphere that surrounded them earlier, there were just things that Crystal apprehended the most, it was one of those things, that thing that Franz did right now, sometimes Atlantis would do it, Crystal respected that of course, how could she not when she knew what she would be stepping into the moment she started being in a relationship with Atlantis. Crystal was worried, she always was anyways, that was a given and considering that Atlantis always had his signature hidden, she currently did not know if he was all right, although deep down inside of her, she was certain that he was. So the problem right now was, what actually was the problem?
"Maybe so, sweetie..." Crystal started to say before taking another sip of her wine. "Maybe so, but never will we get the details." Shrugging her shoulders because that was a fact, clearly Crystal had also accepted the fact that maybe they were in a different world, the three of them were civilians if she could put it that way and the others were the Jedi who dedicated their entire lives to their calling. Although now, ever since she had found out that she was attuned to the Force, Crystal somehow felt more or less in a rut. She had two options, and she knew that she couldn't embrace fully the both of them, torn between her everyday job that satisfied her greatly to what was apparently and supposedly an innate ability in her.
Now, all of her thinking was clearly downing her mood and she just couldn't believe that it only took Franz to be dealing with something that made her come to think this way right then and there. When he came back though, she looked at him with a faint smile and shook her head in the end to tell him that it was okay and that she understood, after all she was used to it. Even though Crystal had that original urge to ask what was going on, she just swallowed back her words and looked at Elika and Lily when he asked that question. "Why not and I don't have any preferences right now, so I'll have whatever they are having." Crystal said with a faint smile before she went to take the bottle of wine and noticed that it was empty.
"I'll go get another bottle, since one wasn't enough..." Crystal said as she stood up from her sitting position and she looked at Franz with an amused expression. "And you try to win your bet," She, then looked at Elika too before adding on. "The both of you." Rolling her eyes playfully, she put her glass down onto the table and headed towards the kitchen to grab not one, not two but three extra bottles of wine from there...

Smiling when Lily reminds her of an earlier conversation they had, Elikapeka playfully winces and jokes self depricatingly, "Beautiful, you do know that if you hold yourself to that you may never get out of here, right? and then winks as she adds sincerely, I appreciate the sentiment though. Sipping her wine, Elika leans back, resting the nape of her neck on the back of the couch and looking up at the night sky with a smile as she listens to Lily elude the temptation to call Ryan presented by Crystal, laughing as she sits back up and tells Crystal, So close hon'."
Frowning as she nods in agreement to Crystal's prediction that they will most likely not be getting any details on what had caused Franz to get up, Elika tells her friend with an amused smile, "Called it, when Franz returns and lives up to the prediction, what little he does say seeming to imply that whatever had happened was of some concern, but not to them directly. Not pressing Franz on the subject since she respects that there are things he needs to keep from them as a Jedi, Elika sets the matter aside and, when asked about whether they should order and what they should order, suggests, How about that Tapani place that delivers? Plavonian starfish and air cake for dessert? Taking her comlink from her vest pocket after the others have decided what to order if her suggestion was not to their liking and scrolling through the stored frequencies, Elika finds the one for the Tapani restaurant and hands it to Franz, telling him, Just hit connect when you're ready."
Laughing when Crystal returns with three bottles of wine, Elika finishes the last of her glass and tells Lily teasingly, "You weren't kidding about needing to reduce the chances of stumbling into the pool, were you beautiful? Leaning forward and opening one of the bottles, Elika refills her glass and then any of the others needing to be refilled, before cheerily pointing out, I made the last toast, so it's someone else's turn, then tilts her head on the side as she muses, Not that we necessarily need to make a toast, of course."

When Franz was comfortably settled on the lounge area, he arched his eyebrow playfully when Elika said to Crystal that she had called it. He was grateful though that none of them were pressing him for details right now because that would either imply him to say a white lie or just full out lie and he did not want to do that to any of them at all. Moving aside from that subject when Elika suggested a place to order that take out, he grabbed her comm link and smiled. The suggestion Elika had given him made him smile knowingly. He knew that it was someone's favorite dish and Franz wondered if that person in question and his sister were alright...
Snapping out of his thoughts the moment Crystal told him to win that bet as she left to grab some wine, Franz chuckled and shook his head before looking at Lily. "Resolve is strong in this one..." Franz playfully said and just when he was about to push hit to get himself connected for that take out order, Franz felt his datapad vibrating in his pocket and since right now he wasn't about to consult that message, Franz finally hit the button to order in the Plavonian starfish, four of them and the same amount of air cake before giving the address. Apparently for that it would take at least forty five minutes.
Smiling when he returned the comm to Elika, he inclined his head before telling her. "Thank you." Franz leaned back against the backrest and grabbed his datapad just to check it, he read the content with a very calm expression. So he wasn't dreaming, that was good to know, somehow. Franz pocketed the datapad again and moved his empty glass next to Elika to get it refilled until she said that someone else should make a toast.
Franz grabbed his glass again and smiled before rolling his eyes playfully. "Um, to an unquiet evening." Clearly he was just retaking those earlier words back in the restaurant and then he added on teasingly. "And to hopefully no one falling into the pool." He smiled warmly although obviously he might have preferred to say something deeper and more meaningful but he figured that it might have been better to go this route especially when Franz felt a brief fluctuation in Crystal's emotions a few moments ago. He looked at her with a faint smile before looking at the others as he lifted his glass and he looked at Elika with a worried expression.
"Is that even how a toast is made?" He playfully asked with fake worry.

"Whoever said that I actually wanted to get out?" I ask Elika teasingly before tilting my head slightly on the side and blowing her a kiss as a you're welcome really. One of these days though, one of these days, I am certain that it will happen for gorgeous, and I clearly do not care how long it will take, I can be patient, that is not a problem. Although right now, the whole I should be calling Ryan is really daunting my mind. Should I or should I not? That is the question. Really no, I must resist!
Leaning back comfortably onto the seat while Crystal goes to get more wine, leaving an instruction to convince me to call Ryan, I poke my tongue at her as she goes and shake my head giggling. Thankfully though, neither Franz nor Elika is pressing me to call Ryan and instead gorgeous suggests a place to call for our take outs. "Tapani, I feel fancy ..." I say playfully before glancing at Franz and briefly pointing at Elika that I definitely concur with her choice because I actually like what she has selected. "Which reminds me, I believe we do have those ingredients in the fridge." At least that is what I remember currently but considering that someone did not want to cook, well ordering in is the perfect solution. "You should ask baby girl to do it one of these days, and you might see that she just does it as perfectly as what we might be getting tonight." If Crystal wasn't into finance, I am sure that she could have been a chef, to think that she does cook for the love of cooking, that is something that I might never understand, but that is Crystal and I love her just the way she is.
Speaking of Crystal, there she is, with three bottles, I laugh at Elika's statement and wink at her playfully. "Told you gorgeous, better be safe than sorry. And besides, we haven't spent an evening this way in a while so this is cause for celebration." I tell her factually, with her being gone for seven weeks, we really had to catch up, and now it's definitely in that process. "So really gorgeous, good call for calling in that treat of sleeping in." I extend my glass in her direction to get it refilled and lift my glass once it is refilled and I look at Elika dubiously when she says that someone should be toasting ...
Franz does it, and that is fine by me. I lift my glass for his own toast and chuckle at his words before shaking my head. "Oh yeah, to definitely unquiet evenings and not falling into the pool." I reiterate before taking a sip of my wine and enjoying the moment right now. Even though, I know that there is something looming considering that I have noticed Franz taking his datapad and probably reading a message, he is still here, so I can only believe that clearly it might not be that important, but then again what do I know. "I guess now, we should be killing forty five minutes until we get our food, right? Any ideas?" I ask them playfully and I hope for their sake that they do not tell me to choose because I may go for a truth or dare game here ...

Crystal settled back onto her former seat after she had placed those bottles onto the table along with some peanuts. They would definitely be needing some peanuts while they waited for their take outs came over. Crystal looked dubiously at Elika when she declared that someone should be making the toast. Franz took care of that and she laughed at what he was toasting for right now. "Yes, it's as good as any other toasts." Crystal told Franz reassuringly before winking at him playfully, she took a sip of her wine and breathed softly, now she was really thinking that something was lacking.
But what...? Right!
Glancing at Lily when her childhood friend declares that they had forty five minutes to kill and if any one of them had any ideas to kill that time, Crystal's eyes widened and she looked at Lily somewhat anxiously. "You do not get to decide first and foremost, last resort, definitely but nuh uh, I know what you are thinking." Crystal said laughing because ultimately, it would had gone to a truth or dare game and playing that game with Lily was just more or less dangerous from her experience.
"First though, we need some music in the background, or this is not going to work." She said thoughtfully before standing up from where she was sitting and patted one of the cushions she was currently sitting on and found what she was looking for, removing it briefly, she opened a drawer from beneath her and grabbed the datapad before pushing a button allowing for that sound system of theirs to come up from the ground and it started playing some music. Listening to the first notes, she knew that it was clearly Lily's playlist. Crystal put the remote down onto the table after lowering the volume for a bit and rolled her eyes playfully as she glanced at Elika thoughtfully.
"That wasn't there before." Crystal explained thoughtfully and she never got to say it to Elika that it was actually there because they kept missing one another due to work more often than not. "A few days after my birthday, I was told that it was there because a certain Forcias Kes installed that sound system for us, gifts from the Kiffars." She explained with a warm smile, now she really knew that one of these days she should invite Forcias here for lunch or dinner after the windows and now this and clearly the sound was broadcast all over the garden and around the pool. She clearly owned him that much.
"Oh, I have an idea, if you could qualify your mood yesterday, today and even for tomorrow, which songs would it be, obviously one each for different days?" She asked curiously to everyone before she gestured to that controller for whoever was courageous enough to answer that first and obviously all of them had to go through that, including her.

Smiling in amusement when Franz asks if his toast met the criteria for being a proper toast, Elikapeka gives him a thumbs up. Nodding her agreement with Lily's assertion that Crystal would have been able to match, if not exceed, the culinary expertise of the chefs at the Tapani restaurant they have ordered from, Elika points out, "Alas, the preparations were left to us. Smiling after sipping her wine, Elika says, So I really think ordering in was the safest thing to do."
Frowning slightly when Lily reminds her of the sleep in the following morning motion, thinking that it would not be the best way to kick off her jogging every morning resolution, Elika shrugs, deciding that putting off the exercise regimen for one day will not hurt, and then smiles cheerfully as she agrees, "Sleep ins are never a bad thing, are they?"
Looking at Crystal inquisitively after Lily has asked for ideas about how to pass the time until the food arrives, wondering what Lily might have done in the past to make Crystal so adamantly opposed to letting her be the one to come up with a suggestion. "What is she thinking? Elika asks Crystal with feigned wariness. Setting her wine glass down after Crystal suggests that they use songs to depict their moods for the day before, today, and tomorrow, Elika holds her hand out for the controller and says, Neat idea! I'll go first. A music aficionado, Elika finds the challenge an interesting one, and so once she has the controller taps it against her leg while endeavoring to think of songs that fit her moods or, where the following day is concerned, anticipated mood. Smiling as she thinks of a vioflute piece that fits her mood from the day before, Elika searches for it and then selects it, saying, Yesterday, and while it is playing finds the song, which turns out to be another vioflute piece, for today. Today, Elika says when the previous song has ended, starting the second song. Thinking of a song for tomorrow proves to be the most difficult task since it requires anticipating her mood, but Elika finally decides on what she has always thought of as an optimistic vocal piece sung in Chalactan. Tomorrow, at least I am guessing it will fit," Elika says, playing the last piece.
Once the last song has finished, Elika, well aware her musical tastes are likely to be a bit different from that of any of her friends, shrugs and guesses, "Not what you were expecting maybe, but there you go. Holding up the controller, she asks, Who's next?"
