Lakehouse - Pool
When Crystal crouched by the pool, she had noticed that Morgan seemed to be forming a water ball though it also appeared to her that she had a hard time maintaining it. She felt guilty right then and there for interrupting the young girl and frowned faintly knowing often times that it was tough to keep on concentrating when being distracted. But Crystal recovered and smiled, guiltily, as she listened to how people liked their marinades, and it seemed that everyone wanted the salty kind. Crystal looked at Ice before shaking her head faintly. "Nonsense, you are family after all, or at least my soon to be future sister in law's cousin, so as we say in our family, 'la mia casa è la tua casa'." Smiling warmly before looking at the tailring that was on Aerandir's shoulder, she inclined her head to acknowledged what he had said. "Very well, though, please don't hesitate to let me know if your little guy," Crystal was looking at Morgan with a warm smile. "Has a certain preference. Also I am sorry for distracting you." Crystal sighed softly and looked at her brother, since he was one of the people that had taught Crystal too anyways.
"Ryan, aiutarla, per favore?" (Help her, please) Crystal asked as she stood up and stopped next to her brother to kiss his cheek, "Grazie, fratellino." Looking over her childhood friend who had listed all types of cooking, Crystal pursed her lips thoughtfully before shaking her head and rolling her eyes. "Yes, you did list it all, but do you even know the difference between them all?" Crystal asked playfully before nudging her childhood friend and looking at the meats to be cooked, and remembered how the others she was next to previously wanted their meats so that was easy enough. "Don't worry, I'll help you out for that, but know that I am quite aware of what you are doing and you are such a bitch." She smirked before laughing upon hearing Ice's comment in Lily's direction, Crystal shook her head and lifted both of her hands in the air. "I haven't said anything."
That being said, Crystal walked towards the bar, since most of the ingredients were there to make the marinades, she smiled warmly upon hearing Atlantis' words to Serrin before shaking her head playfully. "Don't mean to interrupt you two, but salty for you, Serrin? The marinade I mean." Crystal asked softly as she started to work on the salty marinade so that Lily could use it for the meat.

Lakehouse - Pool
Ryan was still sitting at the edge of the pool dangling his legs into the water, everything that was going on here outdoors, he more or less followed, to who was speaking to who, and what some were doing. He had, of course, noticed that Andros had taken a step back and was keeping to his own and fiddling with his datapad, Ryan could not help but to narrow his eyes briefly in the Vice-Governor's direction as if to figure out what he was checking. But fortunately, Andros' signature had no spikes and he still seemed appeased. Knowing that nothing was currently out of the ordinary, Ryan focused his attention back on the two children who were interacting with one another, and Lukas as expected had requested a water ball from Morgan. To that, Ryan watched the youngest girl attentively and it looked like, at least to Ryan, she seemed to be having a tough time in maintaining that water ball especially when she began to be distracted.
Though it was a start and Ryan was certain that sooner or later she would succeed in maintaining one for a longer time despite the distraction. Ryan looked over at his sister and smiled knowingly when she requested something of him, nodding in acknowledgement, Ryan looked in Lily's direction who was also asking a couple of questions, which made him chuckle and knew that maybe he'd help her out later but for now.
Just for now, Ryan dropped into the pool and emerged back up before looking at Lukas, picking up the lil man from the steps right there, Ryan carried him and looked at Morgan with a friendly smile. "Seems like you need a little help there, so if you don't mind of course, I'd like to assist you?" Ryan offered genuinely and with a friendly tone, no way he was belittling her at all because after all she was still young and he had been through what she had gone through. "Okay lil man, how many water balls you'd like?" Ryan asked playfully before chuckling and looking in Ice's direction, saying clear enough, "And should we be throwing some at your mom and her friend over there, so they finally join us for some fun?" He was joking of course but still, Ryan looked at Morgan with a playful expression. "Do you think your dad will be crossed with me if I tossed one in his direction?" Ryan grinned and turned his hand, his palm facing upwards before he briefly closed his eyes and called on the Force as he concentrated to lift one water ball at first, then a second and then a third that he placed right in front of Morgan. "Do you think you can hold that one?"

*Morgan grinned when Lokay was discussed, though when Crystal asked if Lokay had a certain preference, that's when she remembered,* "Oh, right... he doesn't really liked cooked meat that much. Unless it's bacon! But he'll eat other things too, so it's okay." *And, when Crystal apologized for distracting her, Morgan shook her head.* "It's fine! I'm better at this at home." *... might have been an odd statement, especially since she was pretty sure the only ones present aware of her connection with Felucia were her family and Serrin and Ice.
Then Crystal said something to Ryan in a language she didn't recognize, but when Morgan saw Ryan approaching, she understood the gist of it. Briefly she wanted to protest, not wanting to be any trouble, but she recalled that she had invited him back into the pool earlier, so she held her tongue and let him join them. He brought Lukas deeper into the water, and Morgan only nodded meekly when asked if she wanted help. And if they should throw some at Ice and her daddy...
She grinned. That could be funny, though she knew Lokay would scatter the moment he felt water. So she nodded subtly, then, when asked to hold one of the three water balls Ryan produced, she did as asked, exerting her focus and encompassing it in a barrier, using her arm motions as usual.* "I'm better at this at home," *she attempted to explain, face scrunched up a little with concentration,* "I can feel the Force in it easier there..."

*Aerandir smiled at Lukas's enthusiasm, though was more focused on Morgan's struggle with the water ball. He needed to get the girl off Felucia more, and perhaps he could take the opportunity while offworld now at some point to have her practice her skills while away from the world that fed her energy and strength. Her connection with the world, while impressive, could also be a weakness, especially if she was unable to accurately balance and determine her strengths and weaknesses without that connection.
And he didn't want that to happen.
Returning his attention to Ice, he shrugged at her comment about Kayla trying her hand at diaper changing, shaking his head.* "We'll see, though I highly doubt that. Maybe with the next kid..." *How soon he wanted another kid, well, that was a different story entirely...*

Lakehouse - Kitchen
Elikapeka shakes her head with a smile when Ares protests that he is the one in need of not being minded, waving her hand to dismiss his concern as she reassures him, "No, you're a guest, so there's no crashing or minding at all. Moving along quickly to avoid one of those loops of conversation were people try to be overly polite and wind up repeating themselves, Elika tells him after he compliments her and the house, Oh, um, thank you, while tugging at her right sleeve, and then moves along quickly to get the focus away from her, Congratulations, by the way, um, on the engagement. Tugging on her left sleeve and then on her right, not sure what else to say at the moment as she doesn't know Ares well, Elika summons a smile as she tries to keep things from getting too awkward by saying cheerfully, You must be really excited, huh? Glancing over at Delaana gratefully when she tells Ares that there is no need for him to stay and help with anything, Elika nods enthusiastically while gesturing towards Delaana as she says, Yeah, um, she's absolutely right. Gesturing towards Ares, Elika frowns and says, You've already done enough, really. Returning to tugging her sleeves, Elika says, Oh, and thank you for the cake making by the way. I'm sure Franz will appreciate it. Nodding and realizing she isn't doing much to lower the awkwardness levels, Elika says as cheerfully as she can despite her mounting nervousness, Yeah, um, so, thank you for the offer, but you've totally gone above and beyond already, so, um, we'll take it from here. Pivoting to point towards the door leading out to the pool, Elika gestures towards it while suggesting, Why don't you go on out and, um, spend some time with your family? Laughing nervously, Elika adds, That's what you're here to do, right? Not to make cakes. I mean, not that we're shoving you out or anything if you were wanting to stay." Finally managing to shut herself up, Elika smiles and, realizing she is tugging her sleeves, crosses her arms over her chest briefly before realizing that might look confrontational and uncrosses them to busy herself with rearranging what she has taken from the fridge on the counter compulsively.
Remembering Delaana's earlier suggestion about the potato situation, Elika turns towards her and says brightly, "Gratin sounds great by the way, my Ceesi! You should absolutely do that, Elika suggests with a nod. Taking a deep breath to try and get her anxiety under control, Elika starts reciting the notes from a vioflute piece in her head as she kneels in front of a counter and opens it to search for a bowl to make the salad in. As she is digging around for the bowl, Elika calls out to Delaana, If you need anything, just let me know and I'll see if I can't remember where it is."

Lukas eyed Ryan curiously when Ryan picked him up off the steps and carried him into a little bit deeper water, until Ryan spoke to Morgan offering help in making more water balls. He giggled when Ryan asked him how many water balls he wanted and should they throw them at Mommy and her friend. Putting a hand up to his mouth as if her were thinking hard, his blue/green eyes sparkling mischievously, he quickly looked over to Ice then back to Ryan who had already begun forming a water ball. In a not so hushed whisper, he spoke.
"We need lots if we gonna fhrow dem at Mommy and Air!" A wide grin spreading across his face as Ryan formed two more water balls, to go along with the first, and handed one off to Morgan.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Inclining her head, Ice returned Crystals smile while getting the gist of what Crystal had said in her family's language - the casa part anyway.
"Thank you, Crystal, I appreciate that."
She smiled again as Crystal went on to address Aerandir. Only half listening to that portion of the conversation, Ice's eyes traveled back to the pool in time to see Ryan lift Lukas from the steps of the pool and carry him into the deeper water. She gave a small affectionate smile to her son while Ryan spoke to Lukas and Morgan and chuckled lightly at Lukas' attempt to whisper to Ryan as Ryan began forming the water balls, handing one off to Morgan when he was done.
"Ryan Solaris, are you trying to teach my son how to misbehave? He doesn't need any help in that area, you know." She inquired, arching an amused eyebrow, while trying to sound stern but failing miserably. She was elated to see the joy and happiness on Lukas' face while he interacted with Ryan and Morgan. Lukas had always been a happy child and it showed even more when he was around other people who shared in his happiness and enthusiasm.
With a light laugh, she turned to Aerandir after hearing what he said in reply to her assurance that Kayla would eventually change diapers. "Well, let's hope any kids that either of us has in the future aren't as conspiratorial as those two." She jokingly quipped while nodding toward Lukas and Morgan. Glancing to Ryan, she pointed a finger at him while speaking with a teasing tone in her voice. "And you....if you even think about launching that water ball at me then you'd better be prepared for the consequences!"
Lukas look at Ryan with a wide eyed expression, his tiny mouth forming an "O". Giggling, he clapped one of his small hands on Ryan's shoulder, "Dooo eeet!", he shouted with a fit of more excited giggles.

I nod, feeling a faint smile turn the left corner of my lip upwards, when Atlantis explains that he has on occasion wished for a different life; understanding the nature of such a wish's allure well enough. The faint smile fades when he speaks of how his biological family gave him up for reasons he has never learned, and I nod again when, after he shares that brief glimpse into his past, he explains that he would not only feel guilty were he to step away from what he feels is his duty, but also that doing so might change how Crystal sees or feels about him.
Laughing, welcoming Atlantis' shift from more somber thoughts to lighter, after Atlantis jokes about how he might not have met me or others here with him today were he to have been born into or sought out a simpler life, I nod and say, "True, there is all of that to consider. I open my mouth, about to point out that Aerandir and others are proof that one need not give up some of the simpler joys to be had, in making a family for oneself for example, but remember my earlier thoughts about feeling certain that I am in no position to advise anyone at the moment, and so instead say sincerely, I am grateful, at any rate, that our respective paths crossed and led to our friendship."
Turning towards Crystal when she joins us, I shake my head to convey that she needs not apologize for interrupting and smile after she has asked about my choice in marinade, saying, "Salty sounds just fine, thank you."

Laughing lyrically when Franz speaks of Lily's relentless nature, Ayodele tells him with an amused smile, "Well then, I am so very glad to hear, Franz, that I am bringing something new and fresh into your life. Her amused smile remains when Franz says that he would not want to make her feel rushed either where their acquainting themselves is concerned, the arching of an eyebrow indicating that Ayodele would more likely than not prove immune to any attempts to rush her even were Franz to endeavor to try and do so, and she shakes her head after he then asks if she has been asked about her preferences where food are concerned, or if she has any preferences he should be aware of. I am not picky, Ayodele tells Franz with her ever-present amused smile, so you need not concern yourself where my appetite is concerned." Her claim is not entirely untrue, for since she has neither the intention nor the need to truly ingest anything Franz or his friends might offer, Ayodele has no need to be choosy.
Glancing over a shoulder towards where some of the other guests and hosts of the party are grouped together, Ayodele asks in her customarily amused tone, "Should we go forth and mingle, Franz? I feel quite selfish, keeping you all to myself thus far, and I would not want you or your striking friends or your family to feel as though you are being kept from them."

Ryan looked at Morgan inquisitively and he wondered what she meant about feeling the Force better there. He was definitely drawing a blank and he just looked at the little girl encouragingly. "I know this is not home, but surely there are some similarities here that you are able to find from back home?" Ryan asked with a warm smile. "Don't overthink it, just feel what you can feel around you and concentrate on that." Ryan softly said as he continued to hold onto all of the water balls he had created, even the one that was floating right in front of Morgan, he continued to look at her with encouragement and he nodded with a warm smile. Sure Ryan had never been to Felucia, since that was planet he knew the family was from, so the similarities, he was taking a stab in the dark, figuratively speaking. Slowly though, Ryan released the hold he had onto the water ball that Morgan was holding, it was slowly and gradually that he was doing that.
Ryan turned to look at Lukas with an amused expression before glancing at his mother with a faint chuckle. "C'mon Icicle, you know that wherever mischief is, I'll also be there, and I happen to get along just perfectly with the lil man, maybe he does have that effect on me." He smirked playfully before laughing softly hearing that they needed a lot of water balls to throw them to his mom and Aerandir. "Ah," Despite Ice's warning, he launched the other water ball in her direction with a chuckle. "You didn't say anything about that one." Ryan said with a laugh before glancing at her son with amused expression. "I told him earlier, I'd do what he wanted me to do, so I am only listening to the lil' man."
Laughing softly again, Ryan formed other water balls and launched those successively onto Ice's direction though for the time being he was avoiding to toss a single one towards Aer, but the final one he had, he definitely launched that towards Ice before diverting the trajectory towards Aerandir and he looked at the Jedi Master with a knowing smile. "The lil' man wants you both in the water and having fun with us, you cannot deny him that, right?" Looking over Lukas again with a playful expression, Ryan stepped slightly back with still the young boy in his arms before laughing softly. "You and I might be in trouble, lil' man..."

Placing his hand over to his chest where his heart was located, Franz looked at Ayodele with a sheepish smile as he said playfully. "A woman after my own heart, I thank thee for the reprieve I am getting from the relentless one." Either way, both was fine with him, otherwise it wouldn't make who the person really was. Franz continued to look at her with a warm smile this time as he listened to what she was saying, she had no preferences and she wasn't picky, it sounded like him in a way and he was fine with that. He nodded acknowledging what she had said though he hoped that she knew she could ask him anything since after all he was supposed to tend to what she wanted, orders from Crystal Kayne herself. "I will always be concerned whenever you are around, Ayodele." He said sincerely before smiling briefly and looking over towards the pool noticing that his cousin was forming some water balls which made Franz chuckled briefly, though ultimately his attention returned to Ayodele with amusement.
"No one is going to feel that you are being selfish and keeping me for yourself..." Which was the truth anyways, after all, the residents of this place told him to spend it with Ayodele and they were fine with it, though either way he was fine with doing whatever, which was why he just looked at her thoughtfully. "Maybe I am the one being selfish by hogging all of your attention, did you want to get to know them further?" Franz asked with genuine curiosity before looking in particular towards the bar and the grill, noticing though that Ryan was still having quite the fun in the pool and maybe his cousin' girlfriend would need help there, though again, Franz wondered if he could still be selfish for a little while longer or jus let her mingle with the others.

Lakehouse - Pool
Listing everyone's preferences on how they like their meat cooked, I do a double take soon enough when Ice over there teases me, though she does have a point but I cannot help but to narrow my expression in her direction before poking my tongue out and chuckle while glancing at Baby Girl who confirms to me that I have listed every type of meat cooking there is and I even pretend to wipe a non-existent sweat on my forehead but that stops when she asks me that question ... "Baby Girl, honestly, you wound me ... Added to my woeful statement, I place my hand over my chest and look at her with a pout. I do know the difference it's just the freaking temperature for each cooking that leaves me brain dead. I know the difference but I will have to have my datapad on the side to check the holonet for those damn temperature difference."
Muttering on the side before remembering that I am under a restraining order from going inside of the lakehouse, I then remember that Hot Stuff has brought his datapad out earlier."Ryan, I am jacking your datapad." I know that isn't a request at all, but I am just stating what I need before making my way to the bar and grabbing that device, I even sit down on one of the bartool while looking at the damn data before looking over at Baby Girl and Lover Boy with a faint smile but I also smile at Serrin there who is in the midst of a conversation with him.
"By the way, to what you said previously, My gaze is still riveted on the datapad, so I am assuming that no one there knows who I am addressing to, but they can all figure it out and I also end up looking at Crystal with an amused expression and plucking mu lips out as if to kiss her. I know but it's also one of the many reasons why you love me because I can exactly be that." Giggling softly and pouring some water onto a new glass, because I'd rather not drink while cooking I stand up from the stool and return to my post as I have gathered all of the information I need to cook those meats, though the marinade is still lacking. Finally starting up the grill since I was unable to do so earlier, I look at it for a moment while waiting for Baby Girl to fix me up with the marinade.

While Ares would have argued that, yes in fact he was a crasher, he only stayed his tongue then and there and nodded with a grateful smile in Elika's direction, understanding all the same. Although his grateful smile turned into something more, it was still grateful of course, but far more prominent this time when Elika congratulated him on his engagement, he appreciated that but in the deepest corner of his mind he wondered how long in general, his happiness would go on. "Well excited, yes and no, for now." Ares said thoughtfully as he waved his hand in front of him because yes he was excited to being engaged to the woman he had been in love with for a while now but at the same time, they didn't select a date yet. "Nothing has been settled yet, so that is not me getting cold feet. All I know is that my excitement will be grander when we start planning." Ares smiled and looked over to Delaana who had called him sir, that got him to purse his lips thoughtfully before shaking his head.
"Please, just call me by my name, and," Ares smiled knowingly looking at Elika before he inclined his head in confirmation. "Indeed, but I also know that I may come to stay here for a while." Ares explained and just left it at that since there was that rule supposedly, or at least, he was under the impression that there was one for his twin had greeted him like Ryan would always do. "I know you are not shoving me out, don't worry." He assured her with a knowing smile lifting his hands to indicate that he was just relaxed insofar and nothing perturbed him currently. "Just wondering if you needed extra help, but I can see that you have it all under control." Ares said glancing at Delaana who had suggested the gratin, which should be appetizing, he had no doubt.
"I'll go join the others outside, but please if and when you do need some help, don't hesitate, I will gladly help you out." Ares genuinely said before picking up his shirt on the stool he had left there and headed out of the kitchen, knowing that him staying for far longer than necessary would only make Elika more uncomfortable...

Atlantis had no trouble in echoing Serrin's sentiments, about their paths crossing, for truly it was still a good moment, even though the circumstances under their first meeting had been very dramatic so to speak. That was in the past definitely, but still if it weren't for that, perhaps they would have never met to begin with. "Likewise, Serrin and I am also grateful that you have come all the way here to help us out." Atlantis told her sincerely, the fact that she had heard the news from the holonews, meant that she followed everything here, and that touched him, more than he could ever say or tell, he owed her, and he still owed her for that last time when she had spent some time with Andros.
Noticing that Crystal was making her way in their direction, Atlantis smiled affectionately before shaking his head when she apologized for the interruption. He knew that she would understand what he was emphasizing right then and there, and he just looked in the direction of the pool, more in particular Ryan and Lukas over there but also Morgan, who seemed to be having that much of fun, it certainly did make Atlantis chuckle before glancing to his side and noticing that Lily was making her way here too.
Atlantis furrowed his eyebrows dubiously and looked from his girlfriend to her childhood friend. "And what would that exactly be, Counselor?" He looked at his left hand, knowing that he was, that he was sure, certainly asking for a beating of a lifetime from her. "Relentless, mind in the gutter, bossy, and, a..." Atlantis cut himself short and stood up before taking a step back or two from the lawyer right then and there. "Only asking for confirmation there, Counselor Jankovic, or expounding that statement, you know how I am a sucker for details." Atlantis bit his lower lip to stop himself from laughing before he slowly walked behind the bar where Crystal was and he smiled widely and very innocently.

Delaana acknowledged Ares' request, to be called by his name, with a nod and friendly smile. "Okay," She softly said as she had listened to him that he was excited but at the same time wasn't about his engagement because he didn't start the planning yet, which meant that his engagement to his fiancée was relatively recent then. She found it touching of him to come over on this planet to announce it in person to his family, although she was certain that he might have more news to share with his siblings for the last time she heard Crystal talking about Ares, here, it was he had been comm silent for far too long. Considering, though that it was none of Delaana's business, she didn't make a big deal out of it.
What she had noticed thus far though, it was Elika tugging her sleeves which indicated that the architect seemed to be anxious, due to Ares, though again she could very well understand Elika's predisposition, which was why she said nothing at all and just gathered what was necessary to make the gratin that she had mentioned earlier. Delaana smiled once more in a grateful manner when Ares offered his help in case, and Lana pointed at herself and Elika. "Thanks for the offer, but I am sure we can manage, we are just doing easy side dishes." Glancing over towards the window which overlooked the pool, Lana smiled and chuckled playfully. "You are missing quite a show from your brother, you deserve to have some fun too, Ares, with all the cake making."
It was true, he had one enough already and he was done with that, he definitely needed to rest especially when he had just arrived too. Finishing gathering everything she needed to make the potato gratin, Lana set everything on the kitchen island and walked over Elika, placing a gentle hand on the small of her back and rubbing it soothingly. "It seems that I have found everything my Shakal," Which was the truth since everything was on the kitchen island right there, but Lana had used that as a pretense to relax Elika in a way. "Your in house cook is as organized here as she is at work." A poignant truth, everything was arranged in a logical way, and it was how Lana knew how Crystal could be. "I'll be starting on the gratin and if I am done earlier than you, I may give you a hand." Winking playfully, Lana returned to her station and started on making that side dish, cutting the potatoes first after washing her hands and placing that in a large rectangular pan...

While Crystal was standing behind the bar, working on the marinade, salty one, since it seemed to be everyone's preference, she was looking from time to time in the pool's direction with a smile on the corner of her lips just watching one of her brothers tossing water balls in Ice's direction. Shaking her head with amusement before looking at Serrin with a knowing smile, she briefly looked upwards as if to say 'boys' "No need for thanks, Serrin, you are a good friend, so it pleases me to do this for everyone here." Adding the final touches on the marinade, before glancing at her childhood friend with an amused expression. "Uh huh, although in my defense, I did say that I would help you out there, otherwise, it would be a shame that Pookie didn't get that fire extinguisher when he was in the City earlier."
Rolling her eyes playfully, Crystal moved the bowl that contained the marinade and placed it next to the meats before returning behind the bar to take a sip of her drink as she continued to listen to Lily with a perplexed expression before remembering what she had said earlier and again Lily did have a point, but before Crystal could confirm that, Atlantis had decided to take a jab in Lily's direction. Crystal looked at her boyfriend before lifting her hand in her childhood friend's direction. "Before you look at me jadedly, Baby Girl, and glare, I have never told him those things, he figured it out himself." Which was the truth, since after all Atlantis was here plenty of times and he was often grilled by Lily about one topic or another.
Though she noticed that Atlantis was stepping closer to her and she looked at him with pursed lips. "Don't think I am going to save you there, Vyridian, you are clearly on your own there, and besides," Crystal picked up her cocktail glass and sat down on the stool he had vacated and looked once more at him and then back to Lily. "Not only are you a sucker for details but I seem to recall that you liked being in trouble." Shaking her head and laughing softly, Crystal turned to look at Serrin before saying playfully. "I am sure you have noticed that he hasn't changed much..." Crystal wanted to add something more but if she asked what had happened to Serrin, there was a chance that she was going to violate the rule of the day, so instead, she went with that generic question. "You saw the Academy, yesterday evening, right? Did you find it to your liking?"

*Aerandir honestly had not been paying attention to the conversation happening between Morgan, Lukas, and Ryan... that was, until he heard Lukas mention throwing "lots" of something at Ice and himself. That "lots" was clearly water balls, which Ryan had produced multiple of, with Morgan holding onto one herself. So they were conspiring against them... And Aerandir had the perfect reaction.
And another one for Ice's comment about how Lukas didn't need help being taught how to misbehave.* "Yeah," *he agreed with a grin,* "Morgan already helps enough." *That would rile her up... or probably just get her to grin triumphantly. Even Ryan himself apparently was a self-proclaimed mischief-maker. Regardless, Ice turned to Aerandir, reinforcing his comment by voicing the hope that any future kids either of them had wouldn't be as conspiratorial as Lukas and Morgan. He shook his head, seemingly in defeat, as he uttered,* "As long as Morgan's around, I'm afraid that's a pipe dream."
*He then smiled, looking towards the pool again as Ice warned Ryan about the "consequences" of having a water ball thrown at her. Something which Lukas only seemed to encourage.
And then they came. The mere sight of water heading in their general direction was enough for Lokay's beady eyes to widen as the tailring launched himself from Aerandir's shoulder, seeking shelter behind their bag. Aerandir took a cautious step aside himself, but all of them seemed to be heading towards Ice...
... save for one. Aerandir had expected one to come his way, and one did, almost unexpectedly. But Aerandir's arm raised just in time, "catching" the water ball in the palm of his hand, sustaining it and holding it straight out. He was silent for a moment, his expression going cold, even as Ryan pleaded on Lukas's behalf for both of them to get into the water. Aerandir's expression was convincingly serious as he leveled it upon Ryan, still holding the sphere of water outward. After a pause, he deadpanned,* "You've made a powerful enemy this day..." *He then turned his palm upward, the water ball falling apart as he clenched his fingers in a fist, as though bursting it with them.
And then he missile-dove into the pool, surfacing behind Morgan, tossing her up into the air a few feet before sending a small wave towards Ryan and Lukas, one that wouldn't submerge Lukas and raise no higher than his chest. Michelle, seeing as her big brother was finally in the pool, grinned and swam closer.
The war was on.*

*Ryan seemed confused at first, and perhaps rightfully so; did her explanation even make much sense, especially out of context? Regardless, he tried to encourage her, suggesting to simply concentrate on what she could feel around her. She could try that, she supposed...
Ice seemed to catch wind of the "plot," stating that Lukas didn't need help misbehaving. Certainly that would draw a comment from— Yep, there it was, Daddy stating that Morgan already helped with that. So of course, she only beamed and raised her chin, triumphantly and a little defiantly. And she didn't seem to be the only one, as Ryan too seemed to be a fan of mischief. As evidenced by his defiant response to Ice's warning of the "consequences"; Morgan couldn't help but giggle at Lukas's encouragement, in complete adoration of the toddler.
But as the water balls flew toward Ice, Morgan wondered if she should try to utilize the one Ryan had given her. Especially since her daddy wasn't made a target yet— Wait no, that last one moved! ... and was promptly caught by the target. Who looked completely serious as he declared that Ryan had made a "powerful enemy," before bursting the water ball and diving in.
Morgan squeaked in surprise, before realizing she still had the water ball intact all this time somehow. She could maybe use it here if she got the chance—* "Ah!" *she yelped as she was suddenly tossed in the air. She flailed her legs but she had the sense to keep her hands before her, suddenly recalling Ryan's advice and attempting to keep it together. Seek... there, it was there, just like home! Just not as readily as she could back home.
As she descended from her toss, she brought her feet together and extended her legs as she hit the surface of the water, completely submerging herself. She remained underwater, kicking her legs to stabilize herself as she opened her eyes. The water ball... it was still intact! She felt herself rock a little as though a wave passed over her, heading towards Ryan and Lukas. This was her chance... pushing off the bottom of the pool, she leapt up above the surface, turning and launching her weapon directly into the face of her daddy!*

"You do realize you're taking orders from a three year old, right?"
Laughing at Ryan's words and antics, Ice raised a hand and redirected the first water ball towards Ali, who had just exited the house and was now rummaging through her bag underneath the lounge chair. The water ball hit Ali square in the back with a splash. Glancing at her cousin and trying not to laugh at the look on Ali's face, Ice just gave an amused shrug before forming a Force bubble to stop some of the incoming water balls from Ryan.
"Thanks, Icy....there will be payback, you know."
Ali stated in mock disapproval before smiling in genuine amusement. Ice just smirked at Ali as she dropped the bubble and redirected the remaining water balls back toward Ryan and Lukas. Lukas giggled in delight as a couple of the water balls plopped against his bare back. Then, seemingly with no thought at all, he waved a small hand happily in the air sending the last of the water balls coming at him off in Andros' direction.
"Oh shit...." Was all Ice could whisper through her shock of seeing Lukas unknowingly use the Force for the first time.

Lakeouse - Kitchen
Elikapeka smiles understandingly and nods after Ares explains that he anticipates his excitement will only grow once the plans for the wedding are being made, walking towards the sink to rinse the lettuce as she says, "Oh, um, yes, I'm sure that the planning will make it all the more exciting, rolling her eyes at what she sees as her rather lame comment after she has turned towards the sink. Looking up from the lettuce after Ares announces that he will be heading outside to join the others, Elika smiles as she says, We'll, um, definitely let you know. If, you know, we need any, um, help," and then waves as he grabs his shirt and heads out to the pool.
Taking a deep breath and shaking her head, feeling ridiculous for letting her anxiety get the upper hand when there is certainly no reason for it, Elika takes the lettuce over to the bowl and begins cutting it. Looking over her shoulder and smiling gratefully at Delaana when she rubs Elika's back soothingly, Elika arches an eyebrow as, after Delaana points out that her organizational skills are not limited to an office, she jokes, "Now, why am I not at all surprised that you're as efficient in the kitchen as you are in the office, my Ceesi? Frowning a bit worriedly, Elika crinkles her nose and asks, I hope you don't mind winding up on kitchen duty with me again? Laughing, Elika shakes her head and says, The next time you're here, I promise you won't be put to work, my Ceesi. Pouting playfully as Delaana walks away to start working on the gratin after offering to help should she finish her preparing her dish first, Elika says, Deal, and I'll do the same if I'm finished before you, ok? Ok."
Finishing the salad doesn't take too terribly long, and after covering it and setting it in the fridge until the rest of the dinner is ready Elika walks up behind Delaana, wrapping her arms around her waist and resting her chin on her shoulder as she asks, "Need any help, my Ceesi?"

Lakehouse - Kitchen
One thing was for sure currently, Delaana had noticed the grateful smile from Elika and she slightly shook her head with a knowing smile to let Elika know that there was nothing to it. Lana head shake though became more noticeable when Elika started worrying about having Lana in the kitchen, which wasn't a problem really. "Don't frown, my Shakal, I'd rather be here than there." Lana nodded towards the exterior before looking back at Elika with a knowing smile. "And you do know I don't mind at all since it allows me to be where you are." Cheesy as that may sound, Delaana didn't care at all and she only winked playfully to Elika before proceeding to her task at hand which was easy...
Looking over her shoulder when Elika came up behind her, Lana closed her eyes momentarily and leaned back against her gently. Wiping her hand with the cloth she had nearby, Lana traced Elika's forearm gently with her fingertips. "It's fine, my Shakal," Lana said sincerely since she only had to put the finishing touches and had already turned on the oven to preheat it, though her features took on a playful expression and she looked over her shoulder with a teasing grin on the corner of her lips. "I am glad though that I chopped those quickly, otherwise I don't think I would be able to concentrate." Laughing softly Lana gently pecked the corner of Elika's lips before finally finishing up with the gratin and bringing up the pan towards the oven after being release and setting the timer so she would know when she needed to add the other things. Finally walking over towards the sink, she thoroughly washed her hands and returned to where Elika was placing her hands onto her waist.
"By the way, I happen to like being on kitchen duty with you." Lana playfully said softly giving Elika's waist a gentle squeeze before looking at the oven knowing she'd have to remain here at least for a few minutes before she added the extra ingredients. "Unfortunately though, my Shakaly, I have to stay here for a while and so if you want to go back outside, it'll be without me for a little while." Lana said with a faint pout.
