Atlantis had left the city earlier after buying what had been asked of him from Crystal. He also made sure that he wasn't followed and he kept masking his tracks while blending himself to the mist, his hood above his head. He really was hoping that the whole talk there would go better between the others but then he supposed that now that was out of his hands and whatever Madieke thought of him, at this point really he didn't care anymore. With all the guarded issues occurring on this planet, he had preferred to be the target than any one else. If the press was quick to judge him and also believe that Andros truly had committed those crimes, then he wouldn't be surprised if his brother was the first to just walk away from that...
A different issue for another time and right now Atlantis no longer wished to think about it since he had finally reached the front secured gate that led to the lakehouse. Inputting the code, he walked in when the gate opened up and made himself straight towards the front door.
Lakehouse
The first thing he noticed once he stepped within, it was the presence of people that he knew and didn't know at all. Making a beeline there, towards the kitchen, he briefly glanced at the woman at the threshold of the kitchen and smiled before greeting her. "Alisha Mercotti, welcome back to Umgul." Atlantis said before looking at the guy there at the kitchen plan who seemed to have some cake batter on his finger. "Solaris, thank you very much but I do not wish to suck that off your finger." Atlantis said straight to the point even though he clearly knew that it wasn't for him anyways but just to embarrass the man who was comm silent for a while now. Walking forward, he placed the candles he had picked but also one that clearly showed the man's age. He patted Ares' shoulder and inclined his head. "Good to see you alive and well, man."
Smiling once more as he looked at Lily before gesturing outdoors to ask if Crystal was there, he figured that he shouldn't be staying for far too long in the kitchen's premises for... Actually Atlantis didn't want to know. "I'll join everyone outside..." Atlantis finally said as he stepped out of the kitchen to head towards the pool, and on the way there though he made a quick stop towards Crystal's room to remove his hoodie, keeping his dark v-neck shirt but also letting go of his lightsabers which automatically got him to reveal his presence. Once that was done, he found himself by the pool and made a straight line towards his girlfriend wrapping his arms around her and kissing her cheek. He didn't care if her swimsuit was wet, that would get him to be wet too, he just needed to have her in his arms.
"Hi..." He murmured softly and turned his head to kiss her temple lovingly and affectionately before releasing her and seeing those people he had felt earlier that were unfamiliar to him. A woman and a young boy it seemed and there was Franz's date over there with Franz on the lounge seat, plus Andros seemed to be sunbathing and Elika along with Delaana were by the bar from the looks of it. He figured he should introduce himself to the people he didn't know, so he released completely Crystal and walked to where Ice and Lukas were, inclining his head respectfully. "Hello, I am Atlantis, welcome to Umgul." Smiling before glancing in Franz's and Ayodele's direction, Atlantis waved his hand in their direction too.

Lakehouse - Kitchen
"Still, it doesn't mean that you should take that for granted, Ares ... I can perfectly understand how he would want to deviate, but in what he has just said, that gives me enough reason to stop questioning for now, and also I understand that the reasons why he has come here is very important too. Maybe he just wants to help out, although I have no idea, I am no seer and hopefully what he came here to talk about with his siblings isn't as bad as he makes it sound. Since he doesn't know how long he is staying, I do not press the issue about that and instead, I nod and smile when he asks me about Ryan. Ryan and I are great and yes he is still on a sabbatical, he said that he might check out FMC if there is an opening for him there in the probable future, or even the Academy if Lover Boy needs him to be the medic there."
Glancing at the kitchen's entrance when I notice that Alisha is there already in a bikini, I smile and soon laugh at her statement before sighing somewhat exasperatedly. "Apparently it's a family thing, did you know that even Ryan knows how to cook also just like their sister? Rolling my eyes playfully at that, it definitely appears that the Solaris have that thing running in their family but before I can even carry on with that, Lover Boy is there and the interaction between Ares and Ali first and soon Atlantis makes me bite my lower lip before stifling a laughter. Lover Boy, if someone is asked to do the sucking, I don't think it would be you to begin with. Thankfully, I manage to keep a straight face and look at the man before glancing towards the deck over there to look pointedly at baby girl but my gaze returns to the kitchen plan when lover boy puts the candles there. Thanks for taking care of that." I notice the number that he has picked and that allows me to know how old Pookie is. So he is twenty-seven, it sounds like every guys are that age ...
"Anyways; Standing up from the stool that I have been sitting on since I have seen the look Ares has given Alisha the all too inviting one, I smile and gesture to the two of them. Since apparently you are the co-cake maker, Alisha, I shall leave you two to it. Walking towards the exit of the kitchen, I stop there momentarily and briefly turn my head in Ali's direction to whisper to her. There is a guest bedroom at the end of the hallway ..."
Leaving it at that before walking away, I walk back out towards the pool with an amused giggle before waving my hand in front of me and shaking my head. "If you don't see your brother back out for a few hours, don't go looking for him." Biting my lower lip and shaking my head to stop myself from laughing, something just tells me that between those two in the kitchen, something has happened with cake batter before, it was all in Ares' look.

Ali raised an amused eyebrow at the look on Ares' face when he first saw her standing there, then chuckled when he said he'd give her one guess what he was making. He dipped his finger into the bowl and showed it to her, explaining that it was chocolate cake before suggesting that she taste it to see if it was sinfully delicious. For just a moment, Ali almost forgot that they weren't alone. Almost - until Ares had went on to explain to Lily that Ali was his co-chef when he was making cakes and would need to taste the batter.
Trying not to laugh, Ali nodded her head in agreement with his excuse. Before she could answer either of them though, Atlantis arrived in the kitchen with a greeting and a welcome to Ali and a teasing comment to Ares about the batter on his finger. At Lily's comment on that matter, Ali couldn't hold back the laughter this time.
"They both got you there, chéri." She quipped to Ares with a smirk then inclined her head toward Atlantis. "Hello, Atlantis and thank you." She smiled politely, content to let Atlantis speak with Ares unhindered as she, in turn, looked over to Lily acknowledging the brunettes previous comment.
"I did actually know that Ryan could cook, but now that I know Crystal can also....I may need to ask her for some recipes." Ali spoke thoughtfully with a smile. Some more recipes were definitely needed in her repertoire. After all, she couldn't rely on just cake batter all the time! Pushing that mischievous thought to the back of her mind for the moment, she glanced over to Ares and Atlantis when Atlantis said that he was going to join everyone outside. After Atlantis' departure, Lily also stated that she was going to leave them to the cake making. On her way out of the room, she stopped long enough to whisper to Ali that there was a guest bedroom at the end of the hallway. Ali nodded her head with amusement as Lily left the room. Arching an eyebrow, she walked over to Ares and took his batter covered finger in her hand.
"You know, if we take her up on the offer of that room...." She began with a knowing glint in her eyes while slowly licking the delicious batter from his finger. "....this cake is never going to get made....." She smiled with a wink while letting go of his hand to give him a teasing chocolate flavored kiss on the lips before stepping back to wipe the corner of her mouth with a fingertip as she slid up on the stool that Lily had just vacated.

After finding a chair near the pool, Ice stashed hers and Ali's bags underneath it, and out of the way, then proceeded to put sunblock on Lukas. With his Arkanian heritage he tended to get a little red if he was out in the sun for an extended period of time. Luckily he had more of Ice's coloring, but she wasn't willing to take any chances with his delicate young skin. Finishing with that task, Ice tossed the lotion bottle into her bag and turned to see a man approaching them. Stopping in front of Ice, the man inclined his head respectfully and introduced himself as Atlantis before welcoming them to the planet.
"Hello, Atlantis. I'm Ice Matango, Alisha's cousin, and this is my son, Lukas. Thank you for the welcome. It's greatly appreciated." She smiled as she gave a small respectful nod of her head while Lukas rocked on the heels of his bare feet looking up at Atlantis with a curious expression on his young face.
"Hi! I'm Lukas! You tall...."
Putting a gentle hand on the top of Lukas' head, Ice gave a soft laugh. "Lukas...." She began, but before she could say whatever else she was going to say, she overheard a returning Lily say something to effect of the others not going to look for Ares for a few hours. Raising an eyebrow, Ice glanced around and saw that Ali hadn't returned either. Meeting Atlantis' gaze again, she grinned with a slight shrug of her shoulders.
"Alrighty then. This party just gets more and more interesting by the minute."

Raising slightly his head to just be able to look at Elika when Andros heard her laughing, he briefly looked upwards and smirked. One thing was for sure, that was definitely going to be a silver lining, but then again he didn't usually care as a matter of fact. "Ha, Elika, laughter or not, there is nothing you could say to me currently to make me scowl," He told her with a faint grin, that obviously vanished quickly before he shrugged with an unimpressed expression. "I suppose so, that way my new friend and I can get acquainted further." Andros obviously meant his new ysalamir in his office, but no one knew that he had one there now except for the deputy director.
Plus, he liked just tossing descriptive describing his new pet, as a friend, since in all of things Andros never really played nice with others and his friends were people that Elika knew about.
His own personal and cynical joke, he supposed. He guessed he did like a little jab of fun here and there that kept people guessing.
Laying back down after noticing that his brother had arrived and was soon followed by the AG, Andros shook his head at her statement, again with the unimpressed expression. "Might as well nag him through the Force to make him move." Andros could have guessed what was holding Ares up, the cake making, that was one thing and then there was his fiancée, Andros guessed. After all, Alisha Mercotti had not returned from indoors.

Lazily laying there on the inflatable raft, Ryan even had his eyes closed while tanning, maybe he should have thought about putting some sunscreen on but nah, he was too comfortably settled here. It was a pity though that Elika had refused the use of it for the time being but he also understood that perhaps right now she just wanted to spend some time with Delaana, his sister's PA. Ryan had successfully shut himself out for the time being until he heard his girlfriend's voice and he opened his eyes, redirecting the raft so that he was facing her...
Something about not looking for Ares. Ryan looked around and noticed that Ice and Lukas were there but Ali wasn't. Just with that, Ryan started to laugh and roll his eyes in amusement because he knew what Lily had implied right then and there. "Nag him through the Force?" Ryan repeated rhetorically Andros' statement and looked at the youngest Vyridian. "That is one way to break off his concentration, I am sure..." Ryan looked back at his girlfriend with an amused expression and shook his head playfully. "I am sure that you have indicated the perfect spot, huh?" Pursing his lips to shut himself up as he was pretty sure that he would get a glare from his sister, Ryan just looked at Crystal very innocently while glancing at her boyfriend.
"Yo, Fly Boy, are the rest going to make it here later or not?" Ryan asked genuinely considering that he truly did want to meet the other Jedi that had heeded Atlantis' call for help, but unable to keep his seriousness, Ryan looked at Ice and nodded. "So no looking for Alicat and Dr. Love for a few hours, then? Well I hope that thing Ares is making will be made otherwise, I am afraid that we will have to have a plan B." That plan B was to order in a cake which was doable but sinceriously, Ryan was starting to wonder how long Ares' resolve would last, him and Ali being alone in the kitchen.

"At least, it's someone you appreciate and care about, my Shakal." Delaana said softly with a warm smile about the one who was mandated to Elika's protective detail. Lana had seen how Elika had interacted with Franz yesterday back at TaSpa!, she had also seen that even both the CFO and the AG appreciated his company. Sure, Lana could understand how annoying it would be to always have someone over his or hers shoulder, but in a way, wasn't Lana also doing the same? Lana also knew that Andros might not get Elika's protective detail, at least the official one relieved from that duty, it would be too soon and it might be a surprise. The timing wouldn't really be the best, Delaana knew that and she also knew that Andros was the kind of guy that moved carefully and mindfully. Andros might have been the Vice Governor of this planet but in the brief time she had spent with him in his office, but also analyzed every aspects of what he had undertaken for this planet, he did things in its due time. Not before and not after.
Delaana faintly pouted after she felt that Elika had stepped back, although she didn't think nothing of it, nor would she question the whats and whys because Lana already knew, instead she kept a hold onto Elika's hand and gave it a gentle squeeze before listening to the interaction between Elika and Andros. Lana had to admit, it amused her in a way, though she was curious about which friend Andros was talking about and that made her look at him dubiously. Since she was in no position to question Andros, nor did she actually wish to question the man, for theoretically he was her boss too, Lana noticed from the corner of her eyes that Atlantis had returned and she smiled at him before noticing that Lily had come back out instructing the siblings to not look for Ares any time soon.
The whole back and forth there made her stifle a laughter before shaking her head to clear those thoughts away because obviously, this was starting to be crazier like she had anticipated earlier. "Well this is starting to get crazier by the minute..." Delaana whispered softly before looking at Elika gesturing to their lounge seat wondering if she wanted to sit back down instead of remaining standing up. "Shall we take a seat, or should we refill our glasses first then take a seat?"

After her future sister in law had gone, Crystal stood there for a moment motionless thinking about what Alisha had said about not wanting to let Ares go again. Crystal couldn't help it but think about why Ares had been out of touch for a long time and even if she did say to herself earlier that this day was going to be a no drama day, really, what Alisha had said really got her to thinking, plus the seriousness of Ares' tone from the comm Ryan had received, it was giving her nothing good right now, but just bad things. Crystal truly had a bad feeling about what Ares wanted to speak about with her and Ryan. Crystal already had so many things on her plate, that she didn't know for how long she could compartmentalize it all.
Thankfully though, before she could dwell longer than necessary with her plaguing thoughts right now, she knew deep inside of her that Atlantis had arrived and he was just the person she needed currently, just being present and just see him. Crystal closed her eyes momentarily when he arrived on the deck and she placed her hand onto his forearm reeling into that feeling he was giving her. Most of the time, it was as if she didn't need to indicate what she needed, he just did it automatically without her asking, and the kiss on her cheek and temple were perfect enough. "Hi." Crystal murmured softly as she moved her hand on his cheek and let it slide gently before giving him a warm smile.
Her smile turned into a perplexed one soon after when Lily came back out and she looked at her childhood friend with straight line lips. "Right..." Crystal pursed her lips before glancing over her shoulder hearing Ryan's comment, Crystal, unable to help herself concentrated on the Force to topple his raft on the side so that hopefully he would fall straight into the water. Whether she was successful or not that was yet to be seen and she focused her attention back onto Lily before rolling her eyes playfully. "Your boyfriend totally deserved that." Crystal said with a chuckle before looking back at Ryan who had declared earlier that they would be needing a plan B.
"What did actually happen in there, baby girl?" Crystal raised her hand preemptively and pursed her lips giggling, actually perhaps she ought to not know. "I am guessing I don't want to know and it enters a territory where yours and Ryan's mind like to dwell from time to time?"

Lakehouse — Kitchen
The arrival of Atlantis in the kitchen's threshold made everything burst like an inflated balloon inside of him, just at that moment Ares was reminded that they weren't alone and that while with Lily's presence he might have a leeway, with his cousin, not so much especially when Ares knew that Atlantis was dating his half sister. It was perhaps difficult to comprehend but deep inside of him, everything was the wrong timing for him to get into that mood. Nonetheless, it was good to see Atlantis too, which was why when his cousin approached, Ares smiled at the man but he also remembered that indeed he was with Crystal and with everything Ares knew about Atlantis and the things he had gone through, that may shatter the Headmaster of the Academy here... "Same as you, Atlantis, and thanks for always looking over Crystal." Ares left it at that and noticed the candles that had been laid out on the kitchen plan. It was indeed Franz's birthday and how the people here operated somewhat reminded him that perhaps he should be there with everyone and communicate more with them.
Ares smiled when Atlantis and Lily after adding a few comments took their leave and he turned to look at Ali dubiously wondering what Lily had said before factually leaving, although before he could even question that, his hand was taken and Ali had licked off the cake batter on his finger. "Is that what Lily told you?" Ares asked coyly and he felt the temperature rising all of a sudden, again. It also did not help when she kissed him and he smirked before looking at her again biting his lower lip. "I cannot believe that I am saying this but," Ares wiped his hands on the cloth that was on the counter and turned to look at Ali placing his hands on her thighs. "While I would love to take advantage of this situation, I have to make the cake, it's Franz's birthday." Ares glanced at the candles on the counter there as well and then leaned over to peck Ali's lip teasingly.
"Tonight, I promise to make it up to you?" Ares suggested with a mischievous expression in his features as he continued to look at Ali teasingly. "If I can, I'll even put aside some cake batter, for now, I have to get this done, it's the least I can do for them." Standing up straight again and returning to what he was doing, he had taken a mold, and looked right in the direction of the deck, at least where it would be. "I'll stay here, why don't you do there, otherwise if indeed you do stay, I may pause for a moment what I am doing here and take up that room offer..."

Ice Matango...
Why did that name sounded familiar to Atlantis? Could it be that she had any relationship with one of the High Councilors of the Jedi Order, someone who had apparently vanished and probably KIA? But then again, Atlantis hardly believed the KIA situation, like he did not believe that it had happened to Serrin Roma. But considering that she was Alisha's cousin by her own admission and that she was straight up from Honoghr, at least that was what Atlantis assumed, then he felt like he owed Ice, here present a lot to begin with and his welcome to Umgul wasn't enough. Perhaps he could talk about that later, as for now he was more focusing onto her and her son who was adorable. "Hey Lukas, I am sure that as you get older, you will get taller too." Atlantis said with an amused grin before looking back at Ice with a knowing smile just to let her know that it was okay and it took a lot to affect Atlantis quite honestly.
Before Atlantis could go on, he looked over his shoulder hearing what Lily had said and that made him smirk knowingly, after what he had noticed in the kitchen, actually he didn't even want to comment on that thing for whatever Lily had said further, knowing that her mind was often in the gutter, it might have turned unbearable for Ares perhaps and even Alisha.
... And then he felt it, a familiar surge in the Force coming from Crystal.
It got Atlantis to look in the direction of the pool and he pursed his lips to prevent himself from laughing. Usually Atlantis might have said something but actually he preferred not to get in the middle of that situation and just looked back at Ice knowingly. "Stick around, it'll turn even more interesting, I am sure." Atlantis managed to keep a hold of his laughter before taking a deep breath to recenter himself, and his expression turn cool, calm and collected thankfully as he shut out the going ons around the pool. "Ice..." Atlantis nibbled briefly his lower lip in deep thought, he didn't know how to say this correctly but he would try, he supposed. "A few years ago, my identical twin received a comm from our cousin, Ares, telling us that something had happened and it involved L'Ange Noire but also the Horica in Caamas, we have never really asked who gave that information to Ares or even Ryan, but if your last name is any indication that perhaps you were the source of that, or even..." That was when Atlantis saw it, no ring but a precise mark where the ring had been, Atlantis simply omitted that name he had been familiar with because he had been following the going ons with the Jedi Order.
"Someone else," Atlantis finally said dismissively as if it was unimportant really, he then added on. "I wanted to thank you, or even Honoghr as a matter of fact for warning us, but also wish to apologize if I have brought back sour memories, though it is thanks to you that we have managed to drive away the Horicas from this planet."

Ali feigned a pout when Ares placed his hands on her thighs and refused, somewhat reluctantly, the use of the guest room, explaining that he needed to make the cake for Franz's birthday before he leaned in to give her a peck on the lips. Smiling, with a look of understanding in her eyes, she gently placed a hand on his cheek when he promised to make it up to her later that night, even going as far as saying that he would put away some of the batter for them with a teasing look in his eyes. Laughing softly, she met his gaze as she spoke in a low tone.
"I'm going to hold you to that promise of tonight, chéri, and cake batter would be a bonus...." She said, before moving her hand from his cheek to dip her finger in the bowl with a humorous glint in her eyes. "....but we don't necessarily need it to get the job done."
Her voice held a hint of amusement as she sucked her finger in her mouth then removed it a few seconds later, clean of the batter, with a light smacking sound. Grinning, she hopped off the stool and trailed the same finger down his chest to the top of his pants hooking it in the waistband there. Toying with the button that held the garment closed, she gave him a mischievous smirk. "Until tonight, amore." She whispered the last word in his language as she smiled kissing him again before turning and sauntering off to leave him to his task with a light chuckle and a wave of her hand....

"That would be mean to break off his concentration ... Pursing my lips while looking at Hot Stuff with an amused expression, I quickly add on. I mean, who would want to put those ingredients to waste? Baby Girl will be so appalled about that." Try as I may to say that with a straight face, I know that I am not fooling anyone at all because, heck what has happened there in the kitchen, or what is going to happen, maybe I have something to do with that. Only maybe. Though before I can reply to Ryan about showing that couple the right spots, I blink a couple of times when I notice clear as day that there seems to be a wave in the pool. Now why would the pool have a wa- ... That obviously makes me look at those that are attuned to the Force here and particularly the guys because knowing them, they are very capable to dunking Ryan back into the water. Lo' and behold though, to my own stupefaction, the cause of that is Baby Girl.
"I said nothing, nuh uh ... Or maybe I am thinking it. But I quickly shake my head and even raise both of my hands before I start to laugh at what she has just done and I clearly have not seen that coming, at least not from her. I could tell you what actually has happened in there, but, Pursing my lips and looking at Crystal with narrowed eyes and suspicious expression, I clear my throat and start to gesture slightly and aimlessly with my right hand. it wasn't my fault to begin with, you should blame Lover Boy, he entered a territory that is just oh so unspeakable."
I am totally BSing it, I am quite aware of that, although when I think about it, it's actually Ares' fault to begin with and perhaps Alisha too, then again I still wonder how long they are going to hold off without laying a hand on one another. That should be interesting. Stifling a laughter at my own thought, I wave my hand dismissively before finally admitting to Baby Girl, because I know I cannot fool her anyways. "So he needed someone to taste what he has been making, and he asked his fiancée to taste it because apparently she is his co-chef in that recipe department, Shrugging nonchalantly and bobbling my head from side to side omitting the finger part, no one needs to know that, I finally add on. I am guessing she likes it and perhaps they will have a tasting together. Pursing my lips again to prevent myself from laughing, I clear my throat soon enough and look once more at Baby Girl knowingly. As yes, also after me whining about you three siblings knowing how to cook, your future sister-in-law said that she might ask you for some recipes."
And then I remember what Baby Girl has just done with Hot Stuff, I look at her with wide eyes and side stepped in Lover Boy's direction. "You better not throw me into the pool, not when I am still dressed!" I playfully warn her indicating that I am still indeed wearing the black dress that I have put on before the newest arrivals have reached this place.

Since Ryan wasn't paying that much attention to be perfectly honest, and he was far more amused by what Ares might have been going through with Ali right there in the kitchen, what happened next, he did not expect it. The first thing he had felt was movement and then he did a barrel roll without the presence of any waves but he definitely did fall into the water and the inflatable raft was turned upside down. He emerged out of the water and run his fingers through his hair to push his hair back and finally he looked at his sister with wide eyes before laughing.
"Non mi aspettavo che da te!" (I did not expect that from you!) Ryan was still laughing and shaking his head in amusement, from Franz perhaps yeah, even Atlantis or even Andros but his very own sister? No way, and she got him good.
Turning the raft again, just so that it was correctly floating again, Ryan smirked mischievously before he created a ball of water and tossed it straight in his sister's direction, since she was the intended target for that. "Round two, sorella!" Ryan chuckled and slowly backed away to at least get out of the pool and just have enough space and margin to move around and hopefully evade any incoming reprisals from his sister.

Ayodele laughs merrily, shaking her head as she points out to Franz, "You may want to do any future planning to try and deceive me in your head rather than aloud, Franz. I imagine, she explains as she closes her eyes and rests her head on her arms after crossing them in front of her on the lounge chair, you would increase your odds of my not being aware of a new and improved poker face exponentially were you not to announce your intent to come up with one to me beforehand."
Nodding her head, an amused smile on her lips once more, when Franz says that it is his turn to be the fortunate one, Ayodele playfully agrees in a lilting, teasing tone, "Most certainly, Franz. I believe that you should consider yourself most fortunate indeed. It is not just anyone that I would take under the mantle of my protection, nor share my time with. Her tone is playful, and yet her words are absolutely true; set apart for so long from the vast majority of the sentients in the universe by virtue of what she is, Ayodele has remained, by and large, apart from them still even after electing to deny that part of her nature that would have her remain forever outside the kind of bonds of family, friendship, and love that are on display all around her now. Those lives she has lived since casting her old self aside have been spent on the periphery of sentient civilizations, looking in on them to learn how to better integrate herself seamlessly within them, and her time on Umgul has thusfar been the closest she has ventured into such an integration; Franz being the first being not of her kind that Ayodele has permitted to truly come close to her. There is, refreshingly for one who has persisted for so long in no small part by careful planning and heeding caution above all else, no motive Ayodele can ascribe to her decision, if it can even be called such when Ayodele cannot recall ever consciously making one, to set caution aside and open herself to Franz as she has. Though she would never have considered herself anything but free, Ayodele feels as though her freedom has grown by allowing herself to step closer towards truly venturing from the shadows she has walked within for so long. Not so absorbed in her thoughts that she has missed what has been occurring around them, Ayodele shakes her head with a laugh when Franz asks if she might want to return to the pool, Perhaps later, Franz, Ayodele tells him in an amused tone, when we will not be risking being caught up in the craziness that appears to be escalating just as you feared it might."

Lakehouse — Kitchen
Ares kept looking into Ali's eyes trying everything he could to not cave in... He knew he could have easily put this cake making aside, if it were for just the two of them but it wasn't just one cake he had planned on making, it was cake with hopefully three layers or just three different cakes so that it would be enough for everyone in this lakehouse.
What Ali had just done there, it had rendered Ares speechless and suddenly he felt that the heat had been turned on in this kitchen, but he had not even turned on the oven and he had not done a thing just yet, it was only because of Ali that right now he was speechless and simply motionless. He continued to look at her with a somewhat pained expression, only due to the fact that he was trying to control himself and her finger trailing down his body wasn't helping. He closed his eyes and wasn't able to even kiss her back when she did, the only thing he did was to watch her just walk away with an internal groan.
"You are not helping, Ali..." Ares muttered under his breath before laughing nervously before rolling his eyes as he looked at her playfully. "Really, chérie, ce soir, je te le promets." (Tonight, I promise you) He told her with a playful wink before taking a hold of one of her wrists to stop her from going for now and he kissed her passionately before letting her go. He was hoping that it would satiate him right now, but no it wasn't...
So instead, he took a step back and gestured for her to clear the premises playfully before he did something that wouldn't actually get this cake made, and with that he just continued with what he had been doing pretending to not take notice of her currently.

Lakehouse - Pool
"Uh huh..." Crystal began with an unconvinced tone about blaming Atlantis for entering an oh so unspeakable territory. Quite honestly, Crystal didn't really know how Atlantis interacted with his cousin if they often went to that proverbial gutter area, whereas Lily, her childhood friend, Crystal knew that often times if not all of the time when they weren't in a work setting, Lily wouldn't care quite honestly. "I am sure that you did not nudge someone to begin with to visit that unspeakable something right?" Stifling a giggle as Crystal proceeded to wait patiently to the next part to come or not to come, she arched her eyebrow playfully about tasting.
Why was it that Lily always managed to deviate a conversation without trouble? Crystal waved her hand dismissively to put that ingredient thing to rest right now and smiled when she learned that Alisha might be asking for some recipes from her. "This is actually me saying that you should probably take note on my future sister in law, as perhaps one of these days, I may refer to you as such as well." Crystal left it at that and was just satisfied to perhaps turn the table on her childhood friend, from her comment earlier. Then again, it wasn't too much of a stretch, was it? Crystal supposed that whenever that happened then it'd happen.
Her musing was cut short though when she heard her brother telling her something and when she turned to look at him, the next thing she knew a water ball was flying in her direction and it splashed on her abdomen. "Oh no, Ryan, I am calling this a tie for now..." Crystal told him mischievously before winking at him. Crystal preferred to settle that tug game, so to speak, when he least expected it, she guessed. Cheating? No, highly unlikely, but then again she couldn't help but to chuckle at that and gestured towards one of the guys to perhaps let him indulge in that fun and games anyways.
But that was then when Crystal heard Lily warning her to not throw her into the pool because she was still dressed. "So, it'll be like a wet t-shirt contest, I don't recall you being appalled by that, baby girl." Blowing her a kiss and walking over towards the bar to get her refilled glass and some finger food, Crystal figured she'd just lazy on a lounge seat and rest there until she had to nag Lily to get to grilling.

"New friend? Elikapeka asks Andros with a theatrically exaggerated expression of complete and total shocked surprise after he says there is a new friend in his life that he needs to get more acquainted with. Pretending to wipe away a non-existent tear from beneath her eye, unable to keep from smiling despite her best efforts to keep a straight face, Elika sniffles and says, I'm just so, so proud of you right now. My little Andros has made a new friend against all the odds, Elika says before breaking down entirely and laughing, shaking her head and holding up a hand, thumb keeping her sleeve in place. Once she has regained her composure, Elika says, Seriously though, I'm really glad you've made a new friend."
"True, Elika says, tilting her head to the side as she considers what Delaana points out to her. Having Franz as her bodyguard does take some of the pain out of the situation, though it does potentially make things more awkward where having him along if she is on a date is concerned. Shrugging, not wanting to spend any more time thinking about the matter, Elika smiles as, looking over her shoulder towards the pool when she hears a splash, she nods in agreement with Delaana's observation that the day is already becoming a bit wacky, and is only likely to get more and more so as it goes on. Chuckling as Ryan uses the Force to hurl a ball of water towards Crystal, Elika looks back over and into Delaana's eyes, smiling kittenishly at her as she says, I think we might be a bit safer here for now, my Ceesi. Lifting up her drink, which is not yet half-finished, Elika says, I'm set in the bevvie department for the moment," and then sits on one of the stools facing the bar, patting the one beside her to invite Delaana to take it.
Playfully rolling her eyes when Crystal comes over to the bar, Elika, having overheard the last exchange between Lily and Crystal, teases her, "Really hon'? Did you have to go and give her an idea like that?"

Lukas beamed when Atlantis assured him that he would get taller as he got older. "Mommy says dat too!" He giggled, rocking back on his heels again while wrapping and arm around Ice's leg, as he grinned up at Atlantis. Briefly smiling down at her son, Ice ruffled his hair affectionately before glancing up to see the raft that Ryan was floating on topple over, upside down, dumping him into the water. She wasn't sure what had happened until he surfaced speaking a line in the Solaris family language then with a mischievous smirk, he formed a ball of water and sent it in Crystals direction splashing her on the abdomen. Laughing lightly at the siblings, her gaze was soon diverted back to Atlantis when he said her name.
Listening, with interest, Ice remembered what he was been talking about because that was around the time of one of the last attacks on Honoghr, by the IF, also. Folding her arms across her chest, she caught her lower lip between her teeth, looking thoughtful for a moment. Holding his gaze through the tinted lenses of her sunglasses, she tilted her head to the side a little.
"Yes, I remember that. Lukas was a little over two months old at the time. In fact, it was right after one of the last attacks by An Tiarna Dubh and the Iron Fist. It was also the first time that I had been officially introduced to Ares and Ryan." She paused momentarily, giving a quick glance in Ryan's direction before looking back to Atlantis and continuing.
"The last name may sound familiar because of my ex-husband, Adieumus Matango, who had became a Jedi Council member just before going MIA over Kuat during the Mandalorian Crusade a year or so ago - and yes, I was the one who gave Ares and Ryan the information on Caamas. There's no thanks necessary, Atlantis. I did it because I didn't want what happened on that planet, and on Honoghr, to happen anywhere else if it could possibly be avoided. No need to apologize, either. I think about what happened a lot and how it can possibly be prevented."
She was sincere in her statement, she hated that thousand of people died because the IF and Lady Sans Horica apparently got bored at the time and decided it would be a good idea to try to start a war and even massacred their own people in the attempt. Lady Sans Horica even went so far as to use similar markings to the L'Ange Noire on her ships to try and place blame on LAN for the Caamas massacre. Luckily it was proven that LAN had nothing to do with it and were trying to fend off the IF's attack on Honoghr around the same time. Tucking those thoughts in the back of her mind, she gave him a half smile.
"The thanks is appreciated, but as I said, it's not necessary. I know you would've done the same thing if the tables had been turned. I can see it, now in your eyes and in the points all around us." She said as she made a circling motion in the air with a forefinger. "You care deeply about the people you love, and for the people of Umgul, as much as I do about the people I love, and the people of Honoghr."

Ali hadn't quite made it to the doorway yet when she heard him say that she wasn't making this any easier for him. Turning with a teasing smirk, she held her arms out with a chuckle then a feigned look of innocence.
"Who me?"
She giggled, dropping her arms and taking a few more steps toward the doorway. Ares stopped what he was doing and moved over to her, taking her wrist in his hand preventing her from going any further. Leaning down, he'd given her a passionate kiss before letting go of her wrist and taking a step back to teasingly shoo her out of the kitchen. Placing her hands on her hips, and giving him a mock stern glare, she spoke softly.
"Now who's not making it easy?" There was a hint of humor in her voice as she stepped closer to him while he was trying to continue what he was doing. Leaning back against the counter, so she was facing him once more, she trailed a finger down the front of his body again, stopping only when she reached her goal a little past the button on his pants. Grinning wickedly, she whispered. "Are you sure you'll make it until tonight, chéri?."
Letting her hand linger where it was, she gave him a soft kiss, then let her hand drop to her side as she turned and walked to the doorway. Glancing back over her shoulder with an arched eyebrow, she pursed her lips playfully. "You may want to go take a cold shower before you begin with that cake again." With a knowing wink, she turned and walked outside to the pool area.

Lakehouse - Pool
"Yeah... I should probably do the planning in my head, but saying it out loud, often times I am struck with a genuine idea." Franz said with a smirk before shaking his head with a faint chuckle. "But like I have said, I do have nothing, so I guess you won't see a new and improved poker face from me." Grinning once again, Franz laid down comfortably on his lounge seat though he was still paying attention to her.
What she was saying, about giving her protection to Franz and also her time, something did tell him that indeed she really meant those words and also something told him that Ayodele wasn't kidding at all, he was grateful indeed for her time, after his ungraceful way of approaching her by the bar yesterday and him stuttering most of the time due to his nervousness. There was just something about her, he couldn't put his finger on but when she had come out also after Cosimo had told Franz what type of massage Franz was going to get, there was just something in her eyes that caught his attention. Ayodele had perfectly at peace and just confident, plus her gaze was just reflective to him. He really didn't know but it was just her and he liked the way she spoke. "I do, and I also am fortunate," Franz said sincerely with a knowing grin, still looking at her with a warm expression. "One of these days, I do hope you will let me know how I ever got so lucky to even have some of your time?" He was just insecure anyways, he did not known and considering how beautiful she was, he wouldn't be surprised if plenty had their attention on her and were interested in her.
Franz just hoped that he wouldn't mess anything up, it was just the fact that he liked being in her company anyways, and also he really wasn't looking for much now or he didn't expect too much for he preferred not to anyways not after what had happened the last time. Looking over in the direction of the pool noticing that Crystal and Ryan seemed to be in the middle of a water "war", Franz chuckled and rolled his eyes with an amused grin on the corner of his lips. "Later it is, indeed..." Both of his eyebrows slightly shot up when he overheard Crystal saying that she was calling that a tie for the time being, Franz pursed his lips and shook his head. "Ryan might constantly be on guard now." Looking at Ayodele with an amused grin. "I believe that there is a saying that hell hath no fury, but," Since Franz was wearing his swimshorts beneath his pants, he removed his pants and stood up from the lounge seat before extending his hand towards Ayodele with a sheepish grin. "I'll be the one protecting you this time if craziness does continue, what say you?"
