This is as good a place as any to drop my off-the-wall prediction.
As said in my last post, I'm of the mindset that Ezra's going to fall. There's been a couple hints at it (or maybe I'm looking too hard), and if you paid attention to his and Kanan's practice duel in Mystery of Chopper Base, in which it was a draw, they mentioned that it was one of many draws.
Calling it now. Ezra falls, Kanan has to put him down, it ends with them destroying each other.

Im really excited for this. Im watching it tonight, and I will post my thoughts
Swithout giving anything away.
I enjoyed Maul, having watched pt1 and pt2 back to back I really got the whole Yoda feel from him, I feel like they went as far as to steal some lines. Watching him go toe to toe with 3 inquisitors was impressive and a testament to his skill at the lightsaber. I want more.
Ashoka. I was hoping for a different route with the same end. I wanted to see her show there was still some good in Vader.
The duelist in me LOVED watching Vader fight. It was so spot on, how he managed to use his raw power to over come more agile duelists.
Rahm Kotta anyone?

My thoughts exactly. I thought it was a pretty good finale. Wish it threw more bones to the KotOR storyline of Malachor, but alas. The only thing I thought was stupid was HELICOPTERING WITH LIGHTSABERS STOP THIS IS STUPID

My son was watching Disney the other day and I saw a promo for Thrawn...is it too late to jump in? Just for him?

I mean, I jumped in middle of season two just for Maul and ended up liking what I saw, so...

I binged Season 2 in a matter of a week or so, actually really enjoyed it. I definitely think it was better then Season 1, and it seems like its only going to get better.

I think my sole complaint with season two were a couple of the episodes feeling a lot like filler, but I suppose it's not as bad when you have the entire season available at once as opposed to waiting a week for each episode.

Ya I agree completely, watching each episode on its own is kinda boring and it doesn't move the story forward that well. When you watch the episodes back to back, the filler episodes don't feel as bad.

Anyone miss the battles scenes from The Clone Wars as opposed to the sort of boring battle scenes in Rebels?

They're all kind of lackluster to me, but it's because of the animation. Everything's kind of stiff or weird in either show, which makes it hard for me to enjoy as much. So I just stay in it for the storylines, which have been quite good so far.
I will grant this, I wish they did more multi-episode arcs so they have more time to flesh out stories and such. I like the show a lot, but at times it can feel a little rushed

Season Four Trailer. Didn't expect this so soon, though we still have to wait until Fall. Season three got pretty great after the midway point, and that finale was incredible.

The whole Maul-Kenobi duel soured me a great deal. They hyped it up way too damn much for what it was. I was incredibly disappointed with it....just sayin'...

My argument for that is "Disney didn't hype it up, the fans did." They only showed that there'd be a confrontation in a small part of the midseason trailer, and one other preview later. And honestly, in the end, I think it was exactly what it should have been. Kenobi is a Master. Maul is unhinged. He could best Inquisitors and Kanan and Ezra because they're not masters. Kenobi is one of the greatest duelists who knows Maul the most.
Also, it's something I never would've realized had it not been pointed out in Rebels Recon, but what made me love it is that Maul lost because the move he tried to use on Kenobi was the exact same one that took Qui-Gon's life. Kenobi knew it, Kenobi countered it. In that way, it was beautiful.
And that's disregarding all the fan speculation of whether or not Maul was just a death seeker at that point.

After spending several hours reviewing the episode and reviews of the episode immediately after I watched it, I did come to that understanding as well. Initially it was a let down because I felt Maul deserved one more impressive battle. But in the end, I do agree, Aer. It was perfect. Though it took me some time to come to that conclusion. I mean, I watched the episode a while back and was soured by it, but I then reviewed it again and found other opinions on it and found myself agreeing with them. I've been at this conclusion for some time now, but I wanted feed back from someone else.
And, in all honesty, I wouldn't be doing my Sithly part if I didn't try to vouch for the bad guy...it's kinda in my nature...

Probably should have mentioned I was unsure how I felt about it at first as well, but I was won over when I saw the explanation behind the move. Plus I'm just a Kenobi fanboy. >.> <.<
