A newest show coming to Disney XD, seems interesting with the graphics though what pray tell will be the context of this show? Cartooning the Force unleashed series and detailing the formation of the rebellion against the insidious Galactic Empire? Lets create erroneous speculations! To Youtube!

I really would like to know more about Kanan's lightsaber! It has two attachments according to the trailer, I wonder if the attachments do anything...
Meanwhile, Chopper seems like a funny droid (Hey, I do love cats...) Sabine looks really cool (She'll probably be setting off all the explosions we see in this series), And Ezra looks like he's gonna suck...
I do hope Ahsoka is in it, Filoni has only let me down once or twice, he'd BETTER not let me down here!

I have been watching it and its honestly pretty good. The first episode made me feel like I was watching a movie for the first time. I dont really care for Chopper or Ezra but everyone else is really interesting. I see some holes in the story that the writers wouldnt have known unless they are as nerdy as us but they arent as noticeable now.

I mean at least it wasnt a long wait right? Hopefully it wasnt rushed and they just happened to have multiple seasons prepared in advanced.

I still like Clone Wars better, especially the latter 3 seasons, but Rebels is growing on me. I was having fanboy moments whenever Lando appeared.

Me either, but its Lando. Hell, im willing to forgive a lot, given it's Star Wars. One or two awesome scenes makes up for a lot in my view. Yes, I even love the prequels.

I decided to bite the bullet and dive right into the show. I haven't watched much Clone Wars, just the movie (aka glorified pilot episode) and a couple of the first episodes of the show, and just wasn't sold; the new actors were off, the animation's bad, and Ahsoka was terrible. I wasn't sold on Rebels because of its almost-as-bad animation (upon review, it's actually a slight step up) and perhaps I'm salty about The Force Unleashed no longer being main series canon, but I guess I figured I was Star Wars hungry enough to go on in.
After watching the first season and season two's premier, it's actually better than I expected. Not perfect, and there's some goofy moments in it, a consequence of it being a kids' show, but it's overall solid. I'm not sold on Ezra, Chopper, or Sabine, but the other main characters are solid, the Inquisitor was awesome, as was Tarkin as he should be, and I'm just going to separate this Ahsoka from every bad thing I remember her for and just pretend she had a good story in the past. We'll see how it goes from here, and I still have to catch up, but hey, I'm actually enjoying the show.
Prediction: The show goes The Force Unleashed route and the Jedi characters (at the least) are all killed off as a grand sacrifice to truly spark the Rebel Alliance.

SPOILERS
Just finished watching the latest episode of Star wars Rebels. In my opinion its one of the best episodes of the series, bringing back major characters from the films like Vader & Yoda to the grand inquisitor who was revealed to be a former Jedi temple guard. Though none of that compares to the Knights of the Old Republic reference, it's been confirmed that Malacor V has it's own canon version. That could simply be a mere nod to the game or it means some of the story could possibly be used straight from the Kotor series, just like how they made Bane canon. It was the most exciting reveal to me because I'm a huge Kotor fan, though my bet is, it's nothing more then a name on a planet they designed from scratch.
My guess is that's where they'll encounter 'The old master' (Maul). Another interesting and important thing that happens in this episode is something that Yoda said. That the Jedi Order was consumed by the dark side because of their choice to fight in the clone wars. It's not a reference of any kind, but it reminds me of Kotor II. When the Jedi Order exiled her for joining Revan in the Mandalorian Wars. I think there's going to be more talk of this, of how the Jedi lost their way throughout the generations. Any thoughts on the recent episode?

It was indeed a fantastic episode. And now we have to wait two weeks and the next episode's looking to be some filler about Chopper, the least-interesting character. ._.
As for Malachor, it's been in the new canon for a little bit already. Kylo Ren's lightsaber was apparently based on an ancient design that dated back to the "Scourge of Malachor," which is only a stub on Wookiee right now. Also it was mentioned in Clone Wars apparently. Specifically, it's only called "Malachor," not Malachor V, but same thing really.

I am really far behind on this series, but I am interested to see how they will bring Maul into this IF they decide to do that.

Best assumption is Malachor. I don't know if you saw the mid-season trailer on YouTube, but it showed us that, yes, Maul will be in the series, only older, hooded, more wisened. And I'm interested.

You are on the internet so I assume you are a fan of Firefly. There are several episodes that are re-skinned episodes of Firefly.
I got caught up just in time it seems, today is the season 2 finale and honestly I am really looking forward to it.

You hear that? That is the sound of Ezra falling...
(one could hope, it'd make for a shocking and worthwhile story)
