The Eternal Night, an Xyston-Class Star Destroyer, exited from hyperspace and appeared in Iridonia's orbit.
::Commodore, Status report.::
Commodore Zeus looked at the screens then spoke to the towering Zabrak cyborg.
M'lord we have seventeen IFF tags in total, three are friendly an Imperium Exar-Class Star Destroyer, a Reave-Class Picket Cruiser and a Vindicator-Class Heavy Cruiser. All under Lord Wraak's command.The Commodore paused for a brief moment before he continued. What are our orders?
Valafar thought for a moment, it appeared that no one had opened fired as of yet and he didn't want to be the reason his brother lost a negation. While he was a brute and usually prone to attack without thinking, however his latest encounters with foes have taught him a lesson that his old master never could and he would wait until he received word from his brother before he acted. Valafar looked at the Commodore and spoke.
::Connect Starkiller and inform them of our arrival and that we are awaiting orders from Lord Wraak.::
The Commodore nodded his head and proceeded to instruct the bridge crew to carry out Valafar's order. Valafar only stood and looked out the view port as he waited to hear from his brother.

Nicademus Delvardus IVThe fleet of First Order warships had been surprisingly patient, while Venom did what he could to arrange his fleet and coordinate with the FireStar that they had claimed during the Sith'ari's visit. Half of the Imperial Defense Satellites that had also occupied orbit around Iridonia had been destroyed during the Blackguard Imperium's strike, but the remaining thirty-six were still operational and under Venom's control. But he still wasn't confident in their odds against the Imperial Navy that had appeared. That was, until the Eternal Night appeared on the forward viewscreen. With a smirk, Venom spoke to Rear Admiral Lee."Admiral. It would appear that my Clan brother shares my vision for Iridonia...and with his timely arrival, we may have a chance...we will not be making the first move, however. If I can, I will force the Imperials to reveal their hand and go from there...open a channel with this Captain Artraius...let's see if the First Order is serious about their intentions here. And ensure all ships are ready for combat. Inform the crew of the FireStar that enemy contact my be initiated and ensure the remaining defense satellites are primed and ready."The rear admiral carried out his orders, relaying messages to the rest of the fleet, the FireStar and then proceeded to open a comm channel with the First Order captain. As soon as the channel was live, Venom replied to the Imperial Captain.Captain Artraius, was it? Bold of you to assert your vaunted dominance here. You are trespassing into the sovereign territory of Clan Starkiller of Iridonia. State your business in our system.There were hints of aggression in his statement, though he wasn't ready to launch an all out attack on the First Order...yet. Right now, he was both stalling for time and trying to goad the Imperial Captain into making the first move, which wouldn't be difficult, if the First Order had come here with a purpose. And usually the First Order didn't act without purpose. It was just a matter of time to uncover the truth to the Imperial's arrival.

Nicademus Delvardus IV The rear admiral carried out his orders, relaying messages to the rest of the fleet, the FireStar and then proceeded to open a comm channel with the First Order captain. As soon as the channel was live, Venom replied to the Imperial Captain.Captain Artraius, was it? Bold of you to assert your vaunted dominance here. You are trespassing into the sovereign territory of Clan Starkiller of Iridonia. State your business in our system. Captain Artraius listened to the comlink from the Firestar, requesting that their business be stated. The Imperial scoffs at the mention of sovereign territory of Clan Starkiller. These dogs barked in the hopes that the intruders would turn tail and flee, but Imperial Intelligence knew what was truly going on. The Blackguard Imperium had receded its borders and these two Starkillers were without a core of support. Whereas the First Order had the means and the motive to acquire this territory and seek its inclusion in their empire.
The Captain doesn't even feel the need to respond as they already stated their business. He motions to the officers at the gunnery stations.=Artraius= Relay the orders! Open fire on my mark!The officers nod and begin relaying orders to the remainder of the fleet. Its sister ship, another Victory III-class, moved into formation as the other support vessels did the same. Fighters were visibly launched and picked up on sensors. After a few long moments, Artraius turns to his gunnery officers.=Artraius= OPEN FIRE!His command rippled through the fleet as the front edge of the formation begins to fire its turbolasers. As the first salvos were fired upon the closer warship, under Darth Wraak, the first wave of Imperial starfighters roared through space, heading to join the beginning of the battle. The Fight for Iridonia had begun and Artraius would see the Imperial banner be raised over the planet once more.

The defenses that remained over Iridonia weren't vast, by any means. Thirty-six Imperial Defense Satellites and a lone FireStar-Class Orbital Defense Station with about half of its original fighter complement were all that remained from the Blackguard Imperium's original defenses. Which was actually surprising, considering everything that had transpired since then. Adding to that was a single Exar-Class Star Destroyer, a Vindicator-Class Heavy Cruiser, and finally a Reave-Class Picket Cruiser. A formidable defense for just about anyone aside from the First Order or the Blackguard Imperium. At this point though, it had been decided. And as Venom had planned it, the Imperials would be the ones striking first. Standing on the bridge of the Exar-Class Star Destroyer, Venom watched the scene unfold. Enemy fire splashed across his ships and the FireStar. Enemy fighters raced towards them. With a sigh, the Zabrak knelt down on the bridge and closed his eyes, delving into the Force. Being somewhat skilled in the art of Battle Meditation, it was worth a shot at giving his side as much of an advantage as he could.*
*As Venom settled into his Battle Meditation, the FireStar launched her remaining thirty-six fighters to engage the oncoming enemy fighters. The Brotherhood and Enigma, the Vindicator and Reave respectively, moved forward, returning fire upon the enemy. The Exar, Starkiller, however, remained within range of the defense satellites, for the time being, waiting for the enemy to come closer for the capital-scale ion cannons could make short work of the Imperial fleet.

(Given the time it has been since my arrival, I will be pushing forward with claiming this world)
Despite the arrival of Sith reinforcements, further Imperial ones countered their state of the art warships, such as the Exar-class, with greater numbers and the fact that the Imperial crews of the Emperor's personal fleet were quite seasoned and veteran. A fierce combat ensued in the space over Iridonia, one that saw blows thrown against either side. Yet, in the end, it was the Empire that prevailed and forced the retreat of the Sith forces that had once claimed Iridonia as theirs. The bruised, but not bowed, Imperial fleet claimed supremacy over the planet's space and began landing their forces onto the planet's surface.
Iridonia had, once more, fallen to the First Order, the resurgent and true Empire.

From the depths of hyperspace, the Tûaradi emerged in a flash. Yet, while it typically made a quick approach towards its destination, the vessel stopped before the world that the Zabrak pilot called home. A bit of hesitation and anxiety began to swell within his being at the thought of seeing his family again. It had been a little more than ten years since he once resided here, ever since he left the Blackguard Imperium. But here he was, driven on by nothing more than a barely remembered nightmare and questions of uncertainty. He just hoped that what he felt was a lie his mind told him to create doubt.
Not wanting to put it off any longer, the Sith sat up in his chair and pressed forward, heading closer to the planet. No longer was it under the rule of the Blackguard, which had finally seemed to fade from existence, but now it was under the banner of the First Order. It was curious. Once upon a time, this First Order was the Galactic Empire. During that time, and maybe a bit into the rebranded First Order, Viox served and allied the Blackguard with them. And with Viox and his order gone, the Imperials swooped in to claim it. He could see a few imperial vessels patrolling the area. But it didn't deter him as he pressed on, doing what he could not to draw attention and fall into the bit of traffic that existed.
With a clear path, he pressed onward to the surface and his childhood home.

Reaching the planet's orbit, Karnac wasted no time in getting clear of the planet's gravity well. He didn't know if his actions had caught the attention of the Imperials yet, but he certainly didn't want to get into any kind of confrontation with them. So, the moment he was clear, he made the jump to hyperspace.
