The Imperial Fleet soldiered onwards, bringing itself into range swiftly. With a tremendous flash, the great batteries of the Starhammer, one of the last Imperial Star Destroyer Is in existence, opened up a great fusilade.
The Crusader and the Retribution, both fearsome Victory Star Destroyers, opened up their own overwhelming barrage swiftly afterwards.
All three of the Imperial warships first targeted the largest ships, aiming their point defense systems upon the enemy fighters and smaller corvettes.
Then came the TIEs. Squadrons of TIE Fighters and Interceptors swiftly moved to rob the enemy of aerospace superiority, clashing in a terrible spree of torpedoes, missiles and blasters. Meanwhile, the TIE Bombers targeted the enemy ships, screaming in and dropping their cargo of bombs, before pulling out again.
Slowly but surely, the Imperial Fleet would crush this enemy. The Fighters would wipe out the enemy, while the ISD-1 pushed forwards, and the two Victorys move in to envelop the enemy from each side.
There would be no attempt to prevent the enemy landing craft making it to the planet though. They'd die when they got there anyway.

Venator, the clone of Lord Loki looked out the viewport at the encroaching battle. It felt good to be heading into space, the clone had hundreds of memories devoted to fleet tactics, battles and wars that Loki had fought in, worlds beaten and downtrodden much like what this commander was doing. He wondered briefly what faction they where, Iron fist? An arm of the CDDC? He would find out soon enough, though from the looks of things they where a new branch of Imperials. Finally they handed in what appeared to be the flagships hanger and he was whisked away to the bridge and a meeting with the leader of this force.

Yularen gazed out of the window, eyes locked on to the fast approaching battle, his legs braced apart and his hand behind his back. He watches a flight of concussion missiles year through the first ranks of his TIE Fighters, before the next ones shouldered in to clash with the enemy Fighters. As the ISD-1 came into range, Yularen muttered his signature order.
"You may fire when ready."
Immediately the great blasts of the turbo lasers began to hammer the enemy, the great ship using its long range and extreme firepower and armour to weather the storm. Finally, Yularen turned to Venator. He raised an eyebrow, as he stood looking at the Clone in the pristine white of an intelligence officer uniform.
"What is such a famous Sith Warlord doing on Naboo, and why did he surrender to my mostly meager forces?" Yularen inquired, almost politely. Now more interested in his guest than the battle.

The clone strode forward to Join Yularen at the viewport and surveyed the battle for himself. "Actually, I am a clone of the famous Sith lord, and it seems to me from my short meeting with my creator, he has changed sides. I was only recently awaken, tell me, who are you? Whom do you fight for? I know little of the galaxy, my memory upload is five years out of date." The clone said formally yet with an air of haughtiness, this man was reckless with his troops, and his ships. Strange. "And I did not surrender, I demanded." Venator had glanced at the man but now he turned his full attention to the battle before them.
"Once, in my memories I remember leading hundreds of thousand of men, zealots, in the name of a God I fabricated, we devoured planets, people, ships. We where scourge upon this world. In my last upload, from my maker, I remember the plans for a great raid against my brother's forces. Now I awake to find it gone, all gone, I wish to find my place in the galaxy once more, I want my memories back for there are holes, so many holes." The clone said cryptically a mad edge creeping into his voice. Then fading.

[Aboard the Naboo Royal Navy cruiser Padme Amidala.] Up until this point, Captain Cid Typho of the Interdictor-class heavy cruiser parked in a polar orbit over Naboo had watched the Imperial activities in bemusement, suspecting from the separate fleets and their lack of coordination that the potential invaders were not united in their intentions. He was content to let his existing course bring him into range of the trespassers within due time, while first affording him the opportunity to observe their actions. They seemed not to have noticed his task force's presence, as they were directly over the South Pole of the planet when the Imperials arrived. He gave the orders to his pair of CR-92a Corellian Corvette escorts to establish a defensive perimeter, and ordered all pilots to their duty stations, and then the shields were readied.Chommell Sector Fleet - Battlegroup Delta Captain Cid Typho, Naboo Royal Navy (1) Immobilizer 418 Cruiser - Padme Amidala (2) CR-92a Corellian Corvettes (12) N-1T Advanced Starfighters (4) NB-1T Royal Bombers =Typho= Leaning forward slightly in his command chair, the captain broadcast a stern message on an open channel. This is Captain Typho of the Naboo Royal Navy. You are trespassing in sovereign space and your conduct is a violation of the neutrality of Naboo, as established by all Force traditions through the Council of Knowledge, and held as sacred for decades. In the name of Queen Adrianna, I demand an explanation for your conduct. Power down your weapons systems, and you will be allowed to depart ---We will send a warning to the Naboo." Yularen looked to his right, at the Chief Gunnery Officer. "Focus the forward batteries on Sectors Four and Five in Theed. Clear all Stormtroopers from the areas. Aim the rear batteries on the Royal Palace and the Royal Hangers." Some of the officers gawked, others chuckled, as Yularen turned back towards the windows to stare back out at Naboo. His head tilted slightly to glance at the surround bridge officers. "You may fire when ready." Typho stopped short and ground his teeth. "Full speed ahead! Get me in range of those idiots, and get those turbolasers online now!" Moments later, arriving from the south at a right angle from the Imperial point of attack, and possibly at a higher altitude by this time, the Immoblizer would open fire with as many of its 20 quad turbolasers as could find targets, while the Corvettes would concentrate fire on the smaller ships or any starfighters foolish enough to break off their patterns and cross the open space toward the cruiser."If you can get a clear line on the bridge, take it, otherwise, target the engines and hyperdrives of those star destroyers! Don't leave them with anything they can use to escape the planet's gravity." Typho was seething mad now. He would give this Imperial fool something to think about for his treachery.

[Aboard the 'East' Golan defense platform]
Among the pair of Golan-III space defense platforms in orbit of the planet, the men on the 'West' side were helpless to interfere as the conflict was well out of their range. The same was not true for the platform orbiting over the 'East' side of the planet. The platform didn't have a lot of maneuverability, but what it lacked in that department, it made up for with its armament. As soon as Captain Typho's warning went unanswered, the platform commander gave the order, and all 50 turbolaser batteries came online. Volleys of proton torpedos shot out, followed by concussion missiles, all aimed upward at the bridge decks of the hostile star destroyers. Within moments, they would be joined by the turbolaser batteries.

Although the Naboo had some weapons, they couldn’t stand up to the might of the First Order. The Umbaran Militia, in the other hand, almost seemed to have been purpose-built to stop this invasion. And so, at the first signs of trouble, Deechi had raced across the galaxy, dropping out of hyperspace just ahead of the Padme Amidala and her escorts. The Nebula-Class Star Destroyers began targeting the ISD, while the support ships began focusing down the Victory Star Destroyers. At the same time, several landing craft exited the ship and flew behind the cover of the cruisers before descending towards the ground. Though most landing ships were bulky targets, the ones built by the Umbarans were shielded heavily, and were therefore not at risk of getting shot down while the two Star Destroyers began hammering at the ISD. Deechi was aboard his flagship, the Deception. “All cannons and turbo lasers have been prepped, you may fire when in range.” He walked over to the hologram table and contacted the Padme Amidala. “Starship Padme Amidala, what is going on down there? Can you raise Theed?”

The Victory Class Destroyers were now in the unfortunate position of taking fire from two sides. The Golan III was a formidable platform, and a Victory had no chance against it in prolonged combat. The series of explosions rocked the ship and left the Inquisitor reeling from the heavy firepower. Meanwhile, TIE Fighters began to clash with N-1s, in yet another continuation of a very long fought battle between the two air forces.
Aboard his flagship, Yularen temporarily ignored Venator to address issues.
"Lift the communications block and send a message to the surface - order them to prematurely activate the Dioxis and withdraw the last company of troops on the planet."
Yularen then signalled Hoss.
"Captain, that interdictor is now our primary problem. We don't have time to rake it with gun fire, you are to intensify your forward deflectors, push your ship to maximum speed and ram it. We will then make our retreat."
A terrified Hoss gave a quick" Yes, Sir! " before his second officer jumped to it quickly.
The Centurion swiftly turned from its position, where it was firing on the enemy ships as they came around the planet, and targeted the Interdictor especially. The guns trickled to a halt as the shield and the engines were given every spare ounce of power. Meanwhile, the forward compartments of the ship were evacuated, the compartment lock downs put into place and then purposefully depressurised. A Victory class, with its large engines and heavier armour, would cut through an Interdictor like a hot knife through butter. The ship picked up speed, making a straight course down to the Interdictor.
Meanwhile, another force had jumped in behind Yularen, and the Commodore was once again issuing orders.
"Put all spare power into shields and weapons. We must hold our ground until Hoss destroys that Interdictor."
The ISD-1 stopped its advance. So far, there was no ship in this battle that had the firepower to effectively pierce its Hull, though the same couldn't be said for the Victorys. That said, the Starhammer was being bogged down by the amount of firepower being sent its way, and Yularen was eager to be free of the fight now. A good officer knew when to cut his losses. Finally, he turned back to Venator.
"My apologies, Lord Venator, we are in a bit of a sticky situation.
However, I can see if there is a way to restore your memories, if you agree to work for me. A man of your obvious skill and reputation would be key for my operational success."

*The forward shielding of the Vindicators continued to absorb the blasts before returning fire from their many turbolaser and quad turbolaser batteries. Any enemy fighters that managed to break through were targeted by the point-defense ion and laser cannons. The six Marauders began to spread out in preparation for their own assault; if nothing else, they could act as distractions for the fighters and the Vindicators.
But soon, the small fleet was no longer alone, as Naboo's own defense force answered, as well as ships dropping out of hyperspace hailing from Umbara. Both of these groups focused their fire on the First Order fleet, bringing some much-needed relief to Norr's unit. But now the enemy was sending a Victory after the Naboo Interdictor, no doubt recognizing it as their primary problem.*
"Set a course to pursue and engage," *Norr commanded the second Vindicator and half of the Marauders.* "We need to preserve that Interdictor." *He was prepared to launch the landing party until he was alerted of the enemy shuttles entering space from the planet. Instead, he commanded the fighters,* "Send a squadron to intercept the enemy shuttles and eradicate them." *Switching frequencies to Theed, he spoke,* "This is Commander Norr. Has the enemy retreated, or do you still require our aid planetside?"
*As he awaited an answer, the fleet responded to his commands. The second Vindicator diverted power to its thrusters and raced across space, intending to catch up with and hopefully overpower the Victory-class Star Destroyer that intended to ram the Interdictor. Once it was barely within range, its laser cannons opened up, perhaps futilely, but they wouldn't go down without a fight. The three Marauders raced ahead even faster, their trio of fore, port, and starboard dual turbolaser cannons bombarding the Victory with what little power they could muster; they were not built as assault ships, after all.
Meanwhile, a squadron of Aleph-class starfighters diverged from the main battle and raced for the troop shuttles rising up from orbit. They opted to reserve their additional concussion missiles and instead opened fire with their quad turbolasers, their only concern whether or not they were followed...*

"Much easier said then done, Commander. Both of you lack style." He said nodding at the battle. "But the skill is there oh yes. As for my memories, they are in the possession of my creator and DNA source. The original, I require his holocron, see I was a backup, a way for Venator the true Venator to live forever and through any battle. Like it is speculated that Lord Sidious once did." The clone said quietly. "I found him however working with our old foes, the Jedi shadows, I believe he has joined the light, or at least aligned himself.. against the New Empire? That is your name yes? Of the faction you lead for?" He asked quietly a tad unsure.
"It seems like more of..." He paused eyeing the numbers and markings on the new ships. "Ahhh, so the Galactic Alliance exists once more." He said simply "I think a full retreat is in order, tell me, what is that ship over there? " The clone asked pointing at a ship hidden partially by a moon it was visible to them but not the GA or other forces, it was alone and not engaging in combat.

Meanwhile, TIE Fighters began to clash with N-1s, in yet another continuation of a very long fought battle between the two air forces. Aboard his flagship, Yularen temporarily ignored Venator to address issues. "Lift the communications block and send a message to the surface - order them to prematurely activate the Dioxis and withdraw the last company of troops on the planet." [Among the defensive perimeter around the Padme Amidala.] The Interdictor's complement of N-1s was badly outnumbered by the Imperial TIEs, but fortunately, the TIEs had a lot of other targets. As the Padme Amidala reached full firing range of the Imperial wedge of destroyers, her speed slowed, keeping her in range but not getting too close. Any starfighters willing to attack her directly would have to expose themselves to that open space. The squadron of Naboo starfighters hung back in a defensive posture, protected by the Interdictor's twin Assassin-class corvette escorts. Anyone that got too close to the Interdictor was engaged by the N-1s and by the corvettes, allowing the Padme Amidala to focus on larger targets. Two of the N-1s flashed into gas and dust, but the rest fought on, undeterred.[Aboard the Padme Amidala's bridge.] =Capt. Typho=More ships kept arriving out of hyperspace, and Typho was momentarily very worried, until a scanner tech confirmed the identity of the Umbaran ships. Their allegiance to the GA was not yet known to the Naboo, but they were identifiably not Imperials, and that was the most important thing right now. Every moment a new damage alarm sounded from a different control board somewhere else among the control pits, and the bridge itself shook as explosions washed over the cruiser's hull, but for the moment the shields were holding ... barely. And then the communications block came down, and every communications officer was suddenly overwhelmed.Having received the thumbs-up from the surface, Typho turned his attention to answering his 'guests' in orbit and elsewhere in the galaxy. He walked over to the hologram table and contacted the Padme Amidala.“Starship Padme Amidala, what is going on down there? Can you raise Theed?” Unidentified Nebula-class, this is Captain Cid Typho of the Royal Naboo Security Forces. Thank you for your assistance. To whom do I owe the gratitude? He hesitated, not quite sure how far to trust these strangers. But it wouldn't take a whole lot of effort to discover the current situation in Theed -- it was all over the open civilian channels. We seem to be the victims of a brazen and unexplained assault by the First Order, but I have just received word that they are retreating from the surface. The primary need at the moment is anyone with experience in biohazard containment. There are gas canisters all over Theed and at least some of them contain Dioxis. =Admiral Korr=As soon as the jamming was down, a transmission came through from the Corellian Defense Forces, which had evidently been playing on a loop for some time.Naboo, this is Admiral Jacen Korr on Corellia. I have recieved a distress call from Naboo through the Galactic Alliance channels. Corellia is prepared to dispatch a fleet to aid you. Please confirm your status, or we shall assume the worst. May the Force be with You.=Captain Typho=Typho grinned ever so slightly. The odds, which had originally looked rather bleak, were turning in his favor. He had heard the reports coming through from the surface, and while poison gas was no small thing, it appeared the Imperials had either completed their objective on the surface, or been chased away. An actual invasion would not be wrapping up this quickly.Admiral Korr, this is Captain Typho of the RNSF. Confirmed, we have a situation. There is a large Imperial fleet attacking us, however, they seem to be signalling a possible retreat at the moment, and we have already received aid from the GA. Please stand by until we need you, it couldn't hurt to have a surprise or two in case this gets out of hand. Now it was up to him to make these brazen Imperials pay for their actions, and prevent any sort of cowardly retreat. Many civilians had been injured or killed, and their homes destroyed. The Naboo would not take this violation of their sovereignty sitting down. Typho marched across the bridge to personally check on the gravity well projectors. "Only 64%, eh? Get those things online the moment they're ready." He barked. "We must hold these invaders accountable for their war crimes. We will immobilize them, and if they will not surrender, we will kill them." Yularen then signalled Hoss. "Captain, that interdictor is now our primary problem. We don't have time to rake it with gun fire, you are to intensify your forward deflectors, push your ship to maximum speed and ram it. We will then make our retreat." A terrified Hoss gave a quick" Yes, Sir! The actions and motions of the Centurion quickly became unmistakable as it separated itself from its companions, and its firing slowed to a halt, accelerating toward the Padme Amidala. It would arrive about the same time the gravity well projectors came online. He had to do something, and do it quickly. There was a hum as his shield operators shifted most of their power to the exposed and threatened flank of the ship, but more careful tactics would come from the Captain.=Typho="Helm, take us in close to the Eastern Golan, then cut the engines." The ship's engines shuddered, fighting to move the cruiser to the port side and downward, closer to the planet.Depending on the direction of attack compared to the location of the Golan (and whether they could reach it in time), he might just survive this one."Signal the Golan platform commander, I have a task for his tractor beams..." [Aboard the East-side Golan-III.] =Golan commander="Prepare to split your fire. Keep half on the ISD. Target their weapons systems. Concentrate all remaining turbolaser fire on the engines of that Victory-class!" The station commander barked as he pointed out the Centurion. "Don't let them gain any more speed." Almost immediately, the stations rate and direction of fire shifted, taking some of the heat off the other Victory class destroyers. With the Centurion pointed at the Padme Amidala, they should have a clear shot at a right angle to the Vic, although that angle would eventually close if the enemy changed their course to follow the approaching Interdictor."Power up all of the holoprojectors, and target that incoming Vic, but don't start pullin' on it yet, let him get closer first." [On the surface, at the v-180 Planet Defender assigned to cover the 'East' side of the planet.] The mass confusion that had fallen over the planet side defense forces was subsiding now, and that extended to the orbital planetary defenses. The commander had full control of his men, and the ion cannon was charging. Finding a target among the maze of ships in orbit was proving difficult, but the lifting of the communications block provided some context, and the commander of the emplacement analyzed the tactical readouts before zeroing in on the Centurion. It was accelerating, which would make it harder to hit, but the Interdictor was in immediate danger.=Planet Defender commander="Prepare to target the engines of that Vic as soon as the cannon is charged!"

Luckily for the badly outnumbered Imperial Fleet, Admiral Vlusu hadn’t actually departed the battle. He had just retreated back to a safe distance so he could observe the “brilliant” commodore’s tactics. It appeared, however, that his fleet was in a bit of a jam, What with it surrounded by enemies. He should have seen that coming. Luckily, Artemis was back on board his ship. The Resurgent-Class Star Destroyer turned so that it’s main weapons faced the battle, along with the Avenger, the Discovery, and the host of smaller warships. As the ships approached the battle, Vlusu stood on the central catwalk of the bridge. All ships, you may fire when ready. He then turned to the group of fighter pilots. Get in there and save their necks! The fighter pilots hurried off the bridge to board their Clawcraft and join the battle. Vlusu then noticed that his fleet was in firing range. Taking up position in the center of the bridge before extending his arm out in the direction of the battle, pointing at it out of the viewports. All cannons... FIRE! A hail of torpedoes and turboslaser fire began coming off the ships as the combined fleet made itself apparent to the defenders of Naboo. The fighters began their assault on the defense forces along with the escort ships. Meanwhile, on the bridge of the Resurgent, Vlusu and Artemis contacted Yularen. Well... brilliant job Commodore Yularen. You have made a shining example of how not to do an assault. Luckily for you, I can save your sorry hide, but don’t count on the fact that I will be there next time. He was smirking at the hologram. As usual, he had the last laugh.

“I am Mee Deechi of the Galactic Alliance, and you owe me no debt, both before or after this battle. I merely fight because you are an ally, and it is the right thing to do.” Beeing an Umbaran, he was obviously hiding something, but he chose not to mention it. Deechi thought the battle was going quite well. That is, until a hail of turbolaser fire and torpedoes began striking the side of his ships. Turning his head to the side, he noticed an enormous fleet, a sight that any commander would dread. This fleet had apparently pulled back to observe the battle, and had bottled them into a trap. He realized his mistake as his fleet turned heavily to the right in an effort to engage the bigger fleet. Fire from one of the Victorys began cutting through his support ships. 2 of them were completely destroyed, while all but 3 were heavily damaged. Deechi was knocked over as the vessel shook from receiving such enormous amounts of fire, but he he quickly stood up and got back on the line with the Padme Amidala. “Captain Typho, we’ve been caught in a trap! If you have any available reinforcements, call on them immediately! We will try to take on this fleet, but I don’t hold out much hope. Keep your Interdictor protected! It is our only hope that we can keep the enemy here long enough for reinforcements to arrive.”

Yularen glanced at Vlusu, bored, and returned his attention to Venator.
"It's a supply ship. It contains Dioxis Nerve Agent, and even a greatly reduced cargo is too valuable to risk in combat.
As for your memories, if you can nest the Original in combat, I will see to it that the opportunity to regain your memories is arranged."
The battle was heavy, and the two Victory class Star Destroyers left over Naboo were getting the worst of it.
The TIE Fighters were taking casualties, considering the scale and ferocity that the battle now involved.
The Starhammer was still functioning well, now that Vlusu had intercepted the Nebula Star Destroyer, it could return its full attention to the warships directly in front of it, aided by the other two Victorys.
The departing Vindicator was targeted with the concentrated fire of a Star Destroyer and two Victorys, before they changed targets back to the other Vindicator when it drew our of range.
-----
There was a brief respite for the men of the Inquisitor as the Golan began to shift targets. Spinning around, the Victory quickly turned and laid all of its firepower upon the Padme Amidala's escorts. Concussion missiles, torpedoes and turbo lasers began to blast the smaller corvettes.
-----
Aboard the Centurion, Lieutenant Commander Hanson Romm had taken command of the ship and was moving in to range.
"The gravity well generators aren't active yet, sir!"
Romm suddenly had an idea beckon.
"Power up the hyper drive, we'll use it to slingshot into the Interdictor."
The Centurion kept its shields high, feeling the weight of constant fire. As the Interdictor got closer to the Golan and began powering down its engines, the Centurion fired up the hyper drive, kept at the same level, with their nose pointed directly at the Interdictor, and activated the jump.
The effect of this would be to literally accelerate to light speed for a short distance, before being jerked out by colliding with a ship before it could reach hyperspace proper. It would cover the distance and make the force hitting the Interdictor even greater.

[In space, escorting the Padme Amidala.] The situation was getting too hot for the escorts now, with only a single Immobilizer to protect them against a much larger force. If they had closed ranks with the Galactic Alliance forces, they would have been better off, but there hadn't been time for that, and now it was too late. Seeing the impending collision between the Padme Amidala and the Centurion, the remaining eight N1 starfighters decided it was time to clear the area, and retreated to the hangars aboard the Golan-III. The sudden fusillades against the tiny corvettes, while hitting a target of their size from near a maximum firing distance, was not terrible accurate, but it was effective enough. One corvette lost it's primary shields and a large chunk of it's hull, and fled the battle toward deep space, trailing smoke and escaped gases, while the other diverted all power from its weapons to it's shields and made for the cover of the West side Golan, on the opposite side of the planet and well away from the current battle lines. That left the Padme Amidala alone, which was probably for the best given the crazy plan her commander had been forced into executing.[Aboard the East-side Golan-III.] The Golan commander swore violently as his targets, which had all been green a moment later, suddenly disappeared. The microjump had broken the tractor beam locks, and by the time his techs reacquired them, they might be too late. And now the enemy Vic was accelerating straight toward the Golan, and the mass shadow of the planet would quickly pull it back out of hyperspace, even if the pilot didn't do so of his own free will. If it sliced through the Interdictor, or, somehow, missed it, there was a good chance the Golan would take it broadside.=Golan Commander="Prepare for impact! Evacuate all non-essential personnel to the interior compartments!" [Aboard the Padme Amidala.] “Captain Typho, we’ve been caught in a trap! If you have any available reinforcements, call on them immediately! We will try to take on this fleet, but I don’t hold out much hope. Keep your Interdictor protected! It is our only hope that we can keep the enemy here long enough for reinforcements to arrive.” =Capt. Typho=Affirmative Commander. I am about to be very busy cheating death, so I am opening a secured Galactic Alliance channel for you: A direct line to Admiral Jacen Korr on Corellia. Tell him what you need and he will send reinforcements. And with that, Typho turned his attention to staying alive. He could almost hear something venting from the deck below his feet, and with every blast and jolt, the ship creaked and groaned, and the shield projectors whined and coughed, which meant this mess needed to end, and soon.Aboard the Centurion, Lieutenant Commander Hanson Romm had taken command of the ship and was moving in to range. "The gravity well generators aren't active yet, sir!" Romm suddenly had an idea beckon. "Power up the hyper drive, we'll use it to slingshot into the Interdictor."The Centurion kept its shields high, feeling the weight of constant fire. It would cover the distance and make the force hitting the Interdictor even greater. =Scanner Tech="Sir, that destroyer's hyperdrive getting ready to make a jump to lightspeed." A panicked voice reported from a starboard pit.=Typho="Then activate ours." Typho said. He had been quite pleased with the progress of the battle, but now things looked rather bad for his flagship. He was only going to get one shot at this. "Prepare to jump us ten ship lengths farther out from the planet, and to the port at a 60-degree up angle." The Imperials had fallen into his trap, just not the way he had planned, and his careful timing had to be abandoned. There was a lurch and a groan from the strained ship as the engines, already pointed upward, joined with the hyperdrive, and kicked the cruiser out of the immediate path of their ramming enemy. If they got away safely, they would now be almost directly above the Golan... but the timing would be a close shave. As the Centurion arrived, they would catch sight of the Padme Amidala rising out of their path, but if they arrived early enough, then the Immobilizer might still be lower enough to catch the uppermost part of the Victory-class.[At the V-180 Planetary Defender ion cannon.] The gunnery officer had lost his target lock as well, but the commander barked in his ear before he even had time to verbalize the loss. "Target the last known position of the Padme Amidala, that's where they'll be. As soon as they emerge, you'll have your lock." Mere seconds after the Centurion came out of hyperspeed, if their calculation was correct, the full force of the powerful Planetary Defender ion cannon would be fired upon the enemy destroyer. At worst, it would pose another distraction. At worse, it would temporarily disable enough systems to cause a total loss of navigation, preventing the Centurion from changing course. With the Padme Amidala gone, there would be nothing to stop the Centurion from a collision with the Golan, or so the defenders of Naboo hoped.

As the hologram flare to life, another violent explosion rocked the ship, throwing Deechi to the ground. Knowing that the deflector shields were going to give out at any moment now, he quickly stood up and addressed Admiral Korr. “Admiral Korr! This is Mee Deechi of the Galactic Alliance. We’ve got a massive First Order fleet closing on us, and we need reinforcements desperately. Send any and all ships you have available to Naboo. We won’t be able to hold out for long.”

"They're activating their hyperdrive, Sir!"
Romm looked out of the window, pleased. "Excellent, bring up Commodore Yularen." Captain Hoss gawked at his second in command. "Why is that good, Romm?"
It was Yularen who spoke over the hologram. "Because an Interdictor can't use its gravity well while it is in hyperspace, Captain."
-----
Yularen signalled all his ships, including Vlusu.
"All ships, jump to hyperspace. Choose the easiest location based upon your current direction, and we will meet at Kuat. Good luck, gentlemen."
The ships of Yularen's unit activated their hyperdrives, and began their jump. The Interdictor had a choice now, be cut in two by the Centurion or let Yularen escape.

Venator turned and smiled. "A Wise decision Commander." The clone turned and took in Naboo. "I will find you, and destroy you, and the last remnants of the Jedi Shadows, and LAN. Soon I shall be whole again." The clone said under his breath. "Kuat you say? Hmmm." The clone smiled at the thought of seeing the old drive yards so soon, he wondered if any ships would be available for their commendation for the cause or if this group was armed there. "I do not know if I can best him in combat, phsycally he is twenty five years older, however due to our unique enhanced physiology that means little, he has experience and muscle memory I lack, as well as knowledge of powers I can scarcely remember. "The clone paused he decided to be entirely forth coming.
"See, it was genius, he stored all of his knowledge into a Holocron, that Holocron is embedded in his chest. It contains everything I need to become him, fully, I was to take his mantle and place, however now. Now I fear that he will take it all from me, his allegiance has changed, there are seven others ready to take my place. He cannot kill me, until he has dealt with them or another will rise up. For now I think its best I avoid him, and let them come to me." The clone said. "I shall throw in with you." He said at last. "To Kuat."

Vlusu decided to send a probe down to Theed in an attempt to asses collateral damage. The pod dropped free of the ship, falling to the surface. When it started transmitting, Vlusu was horrified by the destruction he saw. As a Chiss, he despised excessive violence, and this was nothing short of that. The area, which was once a vibrant market, now looked like a front line situation. A toxic-looking green gas filled the air, and the buildings had been decinamted. Bringing his ships about, he turned 180 degrees, so his ships moved away from the battle. Recalling all fighters, the rear deflector shields were raised, and the ships set off, away from Naboo. The ships microjumped far enough away from the Interdictor that they could jump to hyperspace, disappearing in tendrils of blue.

It was a short trip - not five minutes.
Slipping the bonds of gravity, the guardian-class cruiser holding the Wayward Sons boarding party made its way from the surface of Naboo towards the gladiator-class cruiser in orbit. All around, ships were pulling back, and FO forces were scurrying back to their carriers and hangars: the admiral behind the attack seemed to be pulling out, and pulling out fast. They needed to hurry. Taking a docking vector to the gladiator that was ever looming in the viewport, Jashin hit the comms before addressing the craft.
This is GCC-005, requesting docking permission; we've retrieved our platoon groundside, but have been cut off from the main force during pullback. Requesting emergency docking privileges. Clearance codes... Jashin paused, scrolling through the flight computer. There were several codes available on the sliced console - thing was, he didn't know which did which. In theory, though, FO naval directives weren't that different from anyone else. So, it should be... Clearance code ERP-5024-3849-03
Switching the comm off, he eyed Tanara. Be ready with the shields - double front. Prepare to cut all auxiliary power to engines and combat thrusters.
