*It took Atton a moment to regain his footing, and by the time he did, there was just one trooper left, his armor damaged, but the soldier very much alive. Dom's wounds were severe, but Atton could still sense a faint spark of life within the man. There wasn't anything he could do now, though. Not until the trooper in front of his was dead. Atton was bruised, but far from beaten as he raised his saber, the trooper facing him drawing his vibrosword. The two combatants stared each other down for a moment before the trooper struck, crying out in rage for his fallen comrades.
Atton stayed on the defensive, dancing out of range of the trooper's strikes. Each step took the two combatants away from the control room, as well as from the bodies in the corridor that might serve to trip him up. He continued to give ground as the trooper continued his assault. Driven, no doubt, by the loss of his comrades and his inability to land a hit on Atton, the trooper's attacks were becoming more and more aggressive, forcing Atton to try and get out of the way of most of the attacks, the few he did parry threatening to cause him to drop his lightsaber. Further hindering the Jedi Knight was the lancing pains in his shoulder with each movement, no doubt lingering damage from the beating he had taken earlier. Nevertheless, he wasn't fighting at his full strength anymore.
The trooper must have realized this, and pressed his attack even more, driving Atton farther and farther back until they reached the other end of the corridor, a sealed blast door preventing them from going farther. Atton attempted to push forwards, but his strike was weaker than he intended and easily blocked. The trooper then lashed out with the hilt of his sword, making contact with Atton's temple. The Jedi crashed to the floor, his lightsaber skittering away. The trooper hefted the blade in his hand and turned it down towards Atton, ready to stab.*
"Any last words, scum?"
*Atton was seeing stars, but still had the presence of mind to realize what the trooper was about to do. Fighting through the haze, he lashed out with the Force one more time, causing the trooper to overbalance and fall backwards. Seizing the opportunity and grunting with pain, he grabbed his second lightsaber, the green blade hissing to life. Stumbling forwards he managed to bring the saber down directly at the trooper's neck. With another pained grunt, Atton forced the saber through the trooper's neck, ending the fight. He heaved a sigh as he deactivated his saber.*"That's Jedi scum to you."
*Breathing heavily, he stumbled down the corridor back towards the control room, stopping to retrieve his lightsaber and making his way to where Dom had fallen. Despite his wounds, Atton could still sense a faint spark of life within the man. He pulled his comm out of his pocket.*
Atton here. All hostiles down. We have a man down outside the control room. He's hurt pretty badly.

Screw you! You can't spend credits if you're dead. Do you Jedi even try to connect with the rest of the galaxy on any level? Or do you just materialize food, shelter, and wealth with the force? Still messing with the access hatch leading to the lower levels and the hangar bay, Jashin resorted to activating the laser cutter on his gauntlet. Green actinic light flashed through the hall, the cutting laser sending sparks into the air as it ate into the durasteel of the hatch.
His HUD pinged suddenly, indicating that its passive scanner had detected something note worthy. With a glance and a blink, he brought the information up; encrypted transmissions clustered together, coupled with weapons fire. Seems you've got company Jedi. Small man team seems to be moving through the halls. Now, I personally have a ship to catch, but I could be persuaded to continue on this suicide mission...for a price, that is. The cutting laser shut off, the hatch falling off to the side with a clang. Truth time. Over fifty percent of the job is done, and there's a giant frelling ship pounding at us. Now, I dunno about you, but I'm a wanted man. Eh? They board us, and death is the last problem on my mind. Prison. Maybe even execution based on jurisdiction.
Planting a boot on the rim of the hatch, Jashin leveled a finger at the Jedi. Give me a reason to stay: the kind of real tangible reason that wins over a mercenary like me, mk?

Zalor glared coldly at Jashin; the Jedi stood silently for a few seconds staring the mercenary down in disgust, his arms folded, feet spread apart.
Part of Zalor wanted to drop a support beam on the man's head and leave him for the Alliance authorities alongside the other First Order captives for all the headache he had been. Except there was that nagging feeling deep inside him, the Force's calling out to Zalor, that this man would play a vital role in the events that would unfold in the weeks and months ahead of him, for good or ill. Master Vao had sensed the same, and she had instructed Zalor to watch over him when they were at Garang. Zalor couldn't help but realize that, for all his glaringly-obvious flaws, (and Jashin possessed many of them), he was destined to become an unconventional ally. Zalor had had his fair share of unconventional allies, and he knew how important they were to him and the Jedi Shadows' many successes. Jashin was no different. But, now - he was asking for a price, as Vincent had when he first joined Zalor's team. What could Zalor offer him? What was he willing to offer him?
<<Grandfather, give me the patience to deal with this loser.>>
Zalor quickly turned his head to his right as he sensed something or someone very strong coming down to join them on the comm array deck. He needed to make a decision, and fast.
Finally, Zalor sighed and turned back to face Jashin.
"Alright, Mister Rau. I'll level with you. I can speak your language, I've done it before. You want payment? It just so happens you're talking to someone who could get you more than what you could possibly hope for. You have absolutely no idea who I really am, do you?"
Zalor's posture became more relaxed as the wheels started turning in his head. Secretly, he hoped he was doing the right thing, and it'd be worth it. "My name is Zalor Anneri, and seven years ago I was one of the highest ranking agents in a secret group of Jedi known as the Jedi Shadows. We worked apart from the Jedi Order - we were spies, saboteurs, scouts, secret agents. Even though our Order is now defunct, as one of the highest ranking members next to the Council of the Shadows themselves, I still have access to an enormous amount of resources. More than you'd ever get from any Hutt or Serenno Count. You want information? I still have the codes to our Order's archives. Stuff that isn't publicly accessible anywhere else. You want safehouses? I have the key to every lock to every secret hideout of ours in the galaxy. You want weapons, armor, supplies? We have hidden caches and connections everywhere in the Outer Rim. You want credits? Oh man - you want credits?! Real credits?!"
Zalor pointed to his left, further down the hallway.
"Tanara Ajahn, the Twi'lek girl, the hacker who's been with us since Dantooine? She worked for me and the Shadows. Her grandfather? He was a enormously wealthy Sith Lord, and when he died, he left her everything. Millions of credits. Millions, Mister Rau."
Zalor Anneri then turned and pointed to himself, determined to drive the point home. "But, beyond credits, supplies, information and shelter, I, Zalor Anneri, can get you the one thing that, as of right now, no one in the entire galaxy can get you - and that's an alibi. You're worried about getting arrested by the Alliance? I was down there on Dantooine, watching you fight the First Order, watching you trying to help save the planet. Master Vao and the people on that planet know what you did. In my mind, you are a hero of the Galactic Alliance. If you end up in the Alliance's clutches, I can and will vouch for you. I will fight for you, Jashin Rau. I'll be your willing ally, your mediator, your companion in arms. But...But!"
Now, Zalor Anneri, the master diplomat of the Jedi Shadows, had Jashin Rau right where he wanted him. Now, the young Jedi Shadow pointed his finger sternly and firmly at the mercenary, as if to dare to defy him.
"...you cannot have any of these things until you agree to take up your weapons and fight for me. Right here, right now. You get on an escape craft and leave this ship right now, and I promise you, you'll never get anything from me. You'll be on your own, as I'm sure you have been all along. But you take up your blaster alongside my lightsaber, you help me and my friends fight the First Order, and you need only ask of me what you want, and I'll do what I can to get it for you; you'll want for nothing."
Zalor Anneri resumed his earlier position, with his arms crossed, feet spread apart, looking down at Jashin in defiance, although his facial expression and demeanor began to calm, as he sensed the pirate processing Zalor's every word. "So what say you? Can you stomach fighting for a Jedi Shadow?"

"She has two very valid points, you know."
Adi looked to the restrained prisoner, dressed in First Order clothing, but bound like an enemy. Body hopping though? That wasn't exactly a very good explanation...sounded like the plot for a comedrama where a man jumped from body to body, fixing wrongs, and making things right guided by some sort of high-functioning 'quantum' AI....
...Nah. The show would never fly....it certainly wouldn't be able to last for five whole seasons, and end on the cliffhanger of all cliffhangers....
"Not saying it isn't possible...but just no. Now, I can appreciate a bit of snark....I am the king of it...but now is not the time. You have one more chance to tell me, or I will take the lady's advice, soldier. Who are you, and why does the First Order have a force sensitive like you in captivity?"
Matango heard the message from Atton....and his head dropped. They couldn't afford to lose anyone...not yet. He opened a com out to the team.
::"Adi to Atton....who's down? Can you keep them alive for two more minutes? We are nearly there...we can get them into the med bay in two minutes..."::
He really hadn't factored in someone actually getting hit like this. Sure, a graze here and there...but not down. They had been operating like a well-oiled machine together, and it hit Adieumus hard to know that one of his team was hurt. An unintentional surge of anger filled him for but a moment, and his fists clenched. It had been more and more difficult to take a teammate's injury, especially since Carida. That had been a defining event in Adi's disappearance from the Galaxy at large...and the whole point of the Skylar Winchester persona....to avoid having to lead in battle and feel that pain of loss time and again. He gritted his teeth, and fought back the urge to kill off the two First Order prisoners right then and there. He looked the 'body jumping alien', the wave of anger finally passing.
"Well? I'm waiting...."

Well it looked like these folks weren't in a mood for any sort of jokes, no matter how good they were, and since they held all the cards Patrick figured he may as well tell them the truth. Relaxing his shoulder he crosses his arms as the man across the field takes a quick comm call before prompting him again. Standing up straight, almost at attention the imperial officer speaks in a calm and clear voice.I am Major Patrick Avem of the First Order 420th fighter wing. As for why I'm here, well my superiors might have taken it badly when I called them "Genocidal Maniacs". He shrugs again. Can't imagine why that would bother them so much since that was clearly what they were trying to use that damn gas on civilians. The man actually shudders as he remembers the moment he discovered that the ship was carrying Dioxis gas and confronted his superiors about it. They had slapped him in irons and tossed him in the brig faster than he would have expected. Anger flashed through his eyes as he remembers his squadron mates, who should have at least had some sense of loyalty to him used their own force skills to prevent his escape. Damn, today really was a shitty day. Honestly man, it's just been a really crappy day and I could use a drink. My stuff is in locker #23 over there. He gestures toward some lockers near the main security station. Mind getting my flask out for me?Yes it was probably a somewhat ridiculous request, but hey, from all accounts they were either going to kill him or leave him in jail, the least they could do it give him a drink for his last moments.

*Sin's body tenses as he mentioned genocidal manicas. Her eyes narrowed further then they already were. Her fists clenched tightly.*
Demagolkas. Skanahs.
*She snarled. Hatred boiling off her as she turns to look at locker he'd indicated. The young woman eyes the locker expecting it to be locked, she wasn't a hacker, and her first instinct was to go for a lightsaber. But quickly remembered they were not here to destroy the place. She stared at the locker. There definitely wouldn't be a flask big enough to make the pain go away. Perhaps it would at least dull the ache, maybe make the void feel smaller. She slams her fist against it, of course doing nothing towards opening the locked door.
She decides that maybe using the force on it would work. She raised her hand to the lock, but shakes her head. Her fist clanging lightly against it. She leans against the locker, her forehead resting on it. She shakes her head, her silver ponytail bounced back and forth gently. She was suddenly feeling very exhausted. It felt like she'd been hit by a truck, lack of sleep, a hang over, the entire battle, followed by all the events on the ship. She'd been sore and tired after saving the Seer.. but this was a whole different level. Her fist slammed lighter against the locker.*
Haar'chak. Tanara... We..yea..
Her words sort of trailed off as her head lolled lazily. Her eyes fluttering. She really felt like a nap would feel good right now. Her eyelids feeling extremely heavy.*

"Now that's more like it, Major. Thank you. I appreciate the honesty, sir. Fanatical bastards don't like being called what they are, apparently. I wanna see each and every one of 'em that were in on this strike to burn in the deepest fires of Mustafar.
Yes, I do believe we can get you that flask."
Adi was moving to the panel to open the locker, and he heard Sin slam her fist into it. Chuckling a bit at the woman letting off a little steam as he opened it. Turning to walk over, he watched as Sinina pretty much -tapped- the locker one more time, and began to wobble. He could feel her force aura wavering as well...she was most likely exhausted...it had been quite a harrowing few days, after all...for all of them. He moved to grab her, catching her, and sitting her in one of the chairs nearby.
"Relax, Sinina....you did extremely well today, kid...be proud of yourself. Take a breather for a few. Just keep watch on the door, and make sure we don't get jumped, eh?" Adi patted her shoulder, and smiled. She had indeed put forth a massive effort in taking this ship. She had, almost single-handedly, taken out almost half of the force protecting it. That in itself was amazing, but she had also fought her way out of Theed, against her better judgment no less, taking out a lot of the First Order on her way out of the city.....
...She was quite extraordinary. Adieumus was quite glad she was on -their- side.
He walked back over to the locker, dented pretty heavily from her strike, and opened it. With a creak, it revealed its contents. The flask was quite easy to find, but something else caught Matango's eye. A heavy rapier, very finely crafted, was standing up on end in the back. The Arkanian pulled the weapon out, unsheathing it. The craftsmanship was exquisite, and oddly familiar. Taking a quick look on the handguard, he noticed a small trigger button. Pressing it, a familiar blue glow shone from the entirety of the weapon's hilt. Immediately, Matango's demeanor changed. He recognized this weapon, at least knew who created it. He was carrying a blade forged by the same pair of hands across his back right now.
The man who had created this weapon was the very same person that had knighted the young Adieumus Matango...Jedi Master Mike Frantz.
He walked calmly back to the control panel that ran the cell block, and found the release for the cell that contained this Major Patrick Avem. He then exploded into a burst of extreme force speed, propelling him toward the First Order officer. Slamming into him, and pushing him back against the wall, Adi drew the katana from his back, activating the stunstrip on its spine. As he pushed Patrick back against the wall, Adi crossed the blades at the Major's neck. He had placed the stunstrip from the katana no more than an inch or two from the man's vulnerable throat.
If it wasn't apparent from his aggression, Adi was not going to be dealing with any more snark.
"Answer this next question -very- carefully, Major. The wrong answer will be the very last you ever speak."
Adi's mind was racing with the horrible possibilities of what could have happened to the venerable Jedi. Did they overwhelm him in an attack like this one? Corellia, perhaps? It would have taken some time for word to reach here if the attack was thorough enough. Did they ambush him somehow, and this jailbird here was part of the attack? These fanatical cretins would have no qualms about sending troops en masse just to eliminate a target. They had shown that here on Naboo. If anything bad had happened to the old man, Adieumus would be devastated. Drunken goofball or not, Mike Frantz was one of the few Jedi that Adi respected, and cared about.
"I know who made this weapon, and if anything has happened to him, I will hold you personally responsible. My weapon was supposed to be one of the last two that he forged. I have the other as well. Where did you get this blade?" Adi's eyes narrowed, and he scowled at the Major, pressing forward a little bit more. The humming noise from both the hand guard of the rapier and his own katana's stunners would be almost as if a swarm of insects was descending around the pilot's head. One wrong move out of the FO pilot, and the former Jedi would make good on his word to end this man's existence.

*Looking at Dom's wounds, Atton wasn't sure he could do much of anything. He didn't really have much training in attempting to heal with the Force and he didn't have any medical supplies handy. Nonetheless, he would do what he could, seeing as Dom's intervention in that fight had probably saved his life.*
It's Dom, and he's hurt bad. I'll do what I can, but I'm no doctor. He needs a med bay and he needed it five minutes ago!

She watched the camera feeds helplessly as Dom was struck down. The autoturrets still needed another thirty seconds before she could activate them. Not one to sit idly by as a companion suffered, she quickly diverted her attention to the nearest medbay. Thankfully, the First Order still had a few medical droids on hand, and so she remotely sliced into two of them and ordered them to come retrieve her companion.
:: Dom is down, sending med-droids to pick him up. Auto-turrets up in thirty seconds. ::
She heard Sin's attempted message from the cellblock, though had no idea what the woman was trying to tell her. She was still watching them over the feeds, and they weren't in any danger, so she moved her attention to Zalor and Jashin. They were still arguing, with Jashin looking like he was trying to leave. They were never going to get to the last dataport at this rate, and she was quickly running out of ways to divert the remaining stormtroopers.
:: Boys, this ship isn't going to take itself. I still need that last dataport to finish this. Can you please put whatever you're arguing about on hold until after we're done? ::

An unmarked YY-2400 Corellian light freighter blasts back into existence with a bang. The pilot does a quick scan. . .it only took the sensors a split second to find what he was looking for: the First Order Star Destroyer.
The Corellian Jedi Master, Will Son'tir, was plagued by visions of the scruffy nerfherder Adi Matango. Comms interception that high ranking members have access to indicated that Matango sent a message out from Naboo. Will sighs, he was hoping he was too late or too soon. Can't believe he actually has to put work in.
Begrudgingly, Will uses the Force and reaches out to find the presence of his old pal. Somewhere on the star destroyer. Figures.
Will sends an encrypted message, short beam to minimize detection or interception from the Empire.
Hey, uhh, "Winchester," this is. .uh. . Cas. .Singer. Cas' Singer. That's right. Call for the Cavalry?

Patrick relaxed a bit as the other man accepted his words and decided to get his flask. A drink would be good about now, it had been a rather stressful day. Waiting patiently the First Order Pilot idly began to wonder what his chances of not getting killed were. His ship had been overrun by some sort of rogue and definitely dangerous group and he was in no position to repel them, and to be honest he wasn't sure he wanted to. Those bastards and their gas deserved this after what they planned to do. He wasn't entirely sure if the gas had been deployed or not, but he saw no reason why it wouldn't have been after he had been tossed in here. Maybe he would make it out of this alive and not in prison after all, of course you never know what might happen. Plus even if they do let him free where the hell was he supposed to go. Well maybe a return to Fondor was in order...
His thoughts were interrupted by a sudden warning from the force. Unfortunately with his hands bound they way they were and the speed at which the attack came there was no chance of stopping it. Hitting hard against the bulkhead wall his head rings for a moment from the impact and he gets the distinct impression that his back would have an impressive set of bruises once this was over... well assuming he didn't die here and now which was looking less and less likely by the moment. As the words of the other man finally settle in his somewhat muddled head he wants to breath heavily but decides against it with the two blades in such close proximity to his vulnerable neck. So very close, just a twitch and his life blood would be spilled across the brig's floor. No best not to think of that now, he had a bigger problem. There was no way in Hell this man was going to believe the truth. He almost considered lying about some sort of familial inheritance or gift from a superior but damn it, if he was going to be killed for something it was going to be the damn truth.
Being careful not to move too much he inhaled slowly before speaking. It was given to me by an old man on Fondor, a bartender. He got me out of a jam I was in with a local gang and then gave me a job and some training, looked out for me for a few years while I figured out who I was. I don't know where he got it from but he gave it to me when he decided I had enough training with blade work not to "cut off my good drinking hand" Despite the situation Patrick couldn't help but smile a little thinking of the old quarky barkeep, he had been the first person to show a younger Patrick that the galaxy wasn't just out to get him. The smile vanished just as quickly as it appeared though as he waited for his unfortunately very likely execution. Idly he thought that at least this way he didn't have the long trip back to Dubrillion to wait just to be killed by his own commanders.

*Sin did not want to sit. She had to keep going. She had to hurt as many of the First Order as possible. She fights as hard as she can to stay stood. But ultimately sits at Adi's insistance. She growls tiredly at him and slumped into the chair. She was barely awake. Her eyes even closed for a few minutes. The runes almost seemed to stop glowing as intensely. She let out a large breath.
She barely registered much. But all a sudden there was action. Adi was across the room in a flash. He seemed angry. Very angry. More so then she'd ever seen. She didn't know where it came from. But she found herself out of the chair again. A burst of adrenaline coursed through her. She stared darkly at the being, the darkness eating away at her again as she stared daggers from behind Adi. At his words she snarled at him.*
A tall tale if ever I heard one. You wouldn't let me kill him.. *She jabs at the Ships commander across the brig.* ..So let me teach this one for gasing my Mama. I promise he won't enjoy it.

----------------Minutes Later, at the Ship's Comm Array---------------
For whatever reason, Zalor and Jashin ultimately decided to split up. It didn't matter why to Zalor, though. To be honest, Zalor was a little tired of dealing with the mercenary's attitude. If he died on this mission, Zalor knew it would be of his own doing.
Zalor, followed closely by R2-D4, made their way to the very large and very expansive communications array control center. They were about to enter the empty room when Zalor stopped and took cover behind the doorway, instantly realizing that it wasn't as empty as it appeared.
Inside the communications control center, he could hear loud footsteps, made by three very tough, very menacing looking, obviously First Order-affiliated individuals who didn't care if they were noticed or not. Zalor peeked around the corner ever so slightly to get a visual on them. Unlike the previous groups of Stormtroopers, these were dressed from head to toe in black heavy armor. These were elites, whoever they were. Not to be messed around with.
Zalor quickly turned to his droid and put a finger up to his lips to quiet the droid.
"Stay here," He whispered. "I got this."
Dealing with these three would have to be done carefully. Fortunately, Zalor was trained for dealing with heavy weapons and special ops units. It wouldn't be pretty, but it'd be done, and done quickly.
Zalor took a deep breath, and closed his eyes. He could feel the Force surrounding him, enveloping him in its energy. Before long, R2 watched as his master suddenly disappeared from view. R2 merely hummed and whistled softly, as he was not in the least bit surprised by this.
Inside the communications array, three Deathtroopers panned out throughout the communications control center, each positioning themselves into various locations around the room as if it had been rehearsed many times over.
::Spread out! Scanners show enemy tangoes headed this way. They're probably headed to get control of our ship's IFF tags and comm permissions. We own this ship! We stop the Jedi here! After we deal with this group, we retake the weapons control center.::
::What are we going to do about the Alliance ship in orbit, sir?::
::We still have TIEs. We still have remote access to the ship's weapons, once we get the weapons array back under control. Saber Squadron has done more with less - we'll be back at Muunilist before long. And we'll take a few more Alliance scumbags out of commission before we do.::
::Copy that, sir!::
::Saber Four, this is Saber Two. What's your status, over?::
Silence.
::Saber Four, this is Saber Two. I repeat - what is your status? Do you copy?::
More silence.
::Saber Four, respond! Are you still combat effective, over?::
Still no response over the radio.
::Commander, I'm not getting any response from Saber Four near Epsilon Station.::
::We'll regroup with them before we attempt to retake the weapons array. There's no way these Jedi animals are going to get the best of us.::

--------------Seconds Later-----------
Saber Three, who had just found himself out of sight of his other two comrades behind a computer console, never saw Zalor coming. All he felt was the heat of a saber blade plunging through his chest, searing its way through both sides of his armor. The green saber blade was suddenly pulled from his chest, and Zalor kicked him forward from behind his back. The sound of his lightsaber igniting had surely alerted the other two elite troopers, and Zalor, who had Force Cloaked and was invisible to the troops, had now become visible the moment he lit his weapon. He only had a second to react...
::What the...Three is down! Contact coming out of hiding!::
Zalor ran as fast as he could to cover, as he heard the unmistakable sound of a pair of TL-50 Repeaters spinning up and raining a barrage of fire just near him. Zalor was confident he could protect himself with his Soresu training against a storm of blaster bolts from multiple targets, but not at that speed or frequency. With repeating blasters, it was better just to avoid getting shot. Before long, Zalor spotted a stairwell he could dive underneath, and he did so the second he got within range. He caught his breath just in time to hear the soldiers shout to each other...
::Behind the stairwell! Behind the stairwell!::
::Fire in the hole!::
"Ah, great." Zalor muttered to himself. Sure enough, only two seconds later, Zalor could hear the distinct beep-beep-beep of an active thermal detonator being thrown his way, then he watched in horror as it bounced off the wall in front of him, ricocheted off of it and landed next to him. Zalor didn't have enough time to think, only to react. With his free hand, he got up, grabbed the detonator, turned to his left and saw one of the Deathtroopers directly in front of him. They had obviously split up, and he was already moving to try and flank Zalor in case his other companion succeeded in flushing him out. He quickly and furiously tossed it at the trooper, then turned on his heels and ran in the opposite direction.
::Kriff!::
Zalor heard a large explosion behind him. As he was running, he heard the other trooper's TL-50 spin up and felt more blaster barrages singe the hair behind him as he ran. He ducked behind a thick, large computer console and stopped to catch his breath again. He winced and shielded himself, though, as the blaster barrage spewed shrapnel over his head as it hit the console multiple times. After a few seconds more, it stopped. There was a brief few seconds of silence.
::Saber Two, respond! Status report! You alright?::
::Yeah! *cough* Had a close call there. Blast threw me a few meters, but I'm good.::
Zalor barely had time to catch his breath after that. He winced once more as the Deathtrooper commander's TL-50 started to spew more shrapnel and blaster bolts near Zalor's covered position. After a few seconds more, though, he stopped again.
::Come on outta there, coward! Come on out and face us!::
Zalor chuckled to himself in amusement. He decided to spite them. He took a deep breath and yelled out in response."Tough words for a pair of walking gonk droids hiding behind blasters!"
This was responded by more TL-50 barrage fire and more sparks, crackling and console debris.
Zalor grinned in amusement from ear to ear and muttered to himself. "Well, geez - I think he took that personally."

---------Seconds Later---------
Zalor had tried to move to another computer console to avoid the barrage of repeater fire, but now that he had done so, both the remaining Deathtroopers were firing on his position. Zalor had had enough of it. Time was wasting. "Alright, fine... Zalor muttered to himself with a frustrated sigh. "We'll play it your way."
Zalor peeked out from behind the computer console just long enough to see where they both were. A second later, he ducked back behind cover. They were easy to get to. Zalor took a deep breath and summoned the Force.
A durasteel crate suddenly lifted up and flew at the Deathtrooper commander, knocking him off balance. A second later, another durasteel crate flew and hit Saber Two, and he too stopped firing.
::Augh! What the?!::
As soon as they both stopped firing, Zalor leaped out of cover and into full view, his saber raised to a defensive position. With his free hand, he made a pulling motion toward himself, and both of the trooper's TL-50s flew out of their hands and towards Zalor. As they got to him, Zalor stylishly, with two swings of his blade, sliced through both the weapons and rendered them useless. This, predictably, stunned both the Deathtroopers. It wasn't before long, however, that, after trading each other stunned looks, they both faced Zalor and walked towards each other until they stood side by side, staring the smaller Jedi down menacingly.
"Alright - you want a real fight?" Zalor stood with his saber lowered in an aggressive Shii-Cho stance, one he hadn't used in a long time. He glared at the two Deathtroopers with his trademark no-nonsense 'I-dare-you' glare, with a coy half-smile thrown in for good measure. "Come and get me."
The commander, without saying a word, took out an electrostaff from off his belt. It immediately extended to its full length as he did so. Seconds later, he hit a switch, and the ends both lit up with electricity.
His comrade, Saber Two, however, slowly took out what Zalor immediately recognized as a lightsaber hilt. Without igniting it, the Deathtrooper waved it in front of him mockingly. ::You see this, dirtbag? You see this? This is the lightsaber hilt from the last Jedi I killed. And this is just one of many! I've got a whole collection of them back in our barracks! Some of them I took just recently from your pals on Dantooine! And I'm really going to enjoy adding yours to my collection when we're done with you!::
Zalor stood there silently, his facial expression unchanged. Honestly, Zalor wasn't the least bit surprised or disgusted by the trooper's taunt. After dealing with someone like Jashin Rau, this actually felt normal. The Red Fang troopers were known to do the same with his fallen Jedi Shadows comrades years ago.
After a few seconds of silence, Zalor merely shrugged his shoulders and shook his head. "Do I look impressed?"
Saber One wasn't having any of Two's arrogance, and he turned to address his squadmate sternly. ::Knock it off, Two! Stay focused! Let's just get this over with.::
Two said nothing in response. He merely shoved the lightsaber hilt back on his belt rather smugly, then traded it for his own electrostaff. He mimicked his squad leader's battle stance.
Zalor had planned on letting them make the first move. For a moment, though, it seemed as though the three were just going to stare each other down. However, before long, Zalor's prediction came true and the two Deathtroopers rushed at him. Then the dance began as both Zalor and the Deathtroopers proved they were all equally fast, focused and proficient with their respective weapons. Sparks flew as electrostaff ends met Zalor's lightsaber blade from both sides, and he soundly and easily met them blow for blow, not showing any signs of struggling to keep up with them.

A bartender...on Fondor? 'Don't cut off your good drinking hand'? Yeah, there was no mistaking the signs of Mike Frantz. The old man was still alive, and apparently still giving...erm...lessons? And weapons as well. Adi barely registered Sinina's accusations of lies. Adi knew every word the man had just said was true. No one would understand why Adieumus knew this, but he knew.
The stunstrip and stunhilt were deactivated, and Matango stepped back, slowly lowering the weapons. He raised his katana again, and slammed it down through the Major's restraints, breaking them. Flipping the other weapon around, he offered it to its rightful owner.
"No, Sinina. He speaks truth...trust me. Please dont kill him. My humblest apologies, Major. Master Frantz is a very old friend, and the only way something should happen to him is an unfortunate drinking accident in his VERY old age. He ain't there yet. How is he?"
Mike Frantz would not have trained someone if they were a fanatical First Order goon. There was something else about this guy, for sure. A Jedi like Frantz wouldn't have gone against his teachings...even in his darkest moments. Therefore, putting two and two together, this Patrick guy was more than likely just caught up in a bad rap right now. Reaching back and clipping the Jedi katana to his back, Adi's right hand moved behind him. The flask flew out of the locker, and into the waiting palm of the former Prince.
"Well, here's that flask you asked for. So why in the name of the Whills would you wanna be hooked up with these power-hungry bastards? If you are a Major, you've apparently been in their service for quite some time...you just don't seem the type to be First Order material, let alone officer. So I guess my question is why?"
Adi cocked his head, and looked the man over. His force aura wasn't necessarily powerful, but it was most certainly there. What the kriff were these guys doing? They were definitely some kind of elite unite that was sent after the Wayward Son Crew...but there was no true indication of how deep it went...til now. Between the dioxis, force sensitive pilots, and deathtroopers, this was becoming more and more bizarre by the moment...
...Speaking of bizarre timing....
A com broke through Adi's link, and caused him to raise an eyebrow. Cas Singer? That was the name he gave, but that voice? No, it was most certainly not. There was an air of familiarity, a knowing smile in the way he spoke. Only one Jedi had that voice....Will Sontiir. What in the blazes was -he- doing here? It wasn't a bad thing, to be sure...and his help was always welcome...but this was a most unusually timed entrance. Regardless, they needed all the help they could get.
"Copy that, 'Mister Singer'....come in through the main hangar, and link up with our friend in the control center...I will RV with you shortly."
This job was almost over, thankfully....

"Copy that, 'Mister Singer'....come in through the main hangar, and link up with our friend in the control center...I will RV with you shortly."
Bawlz. Will exclaims to himself in exasperated annoyance.
Will beeps his confirmation of receipt of the message, rather the wasting time or potentially compromising Adi's position in the star destroyer.
He wants Will to approach the star destroyer from the main hangar? Will has done some bold things in the past, and it will be hard enough to do anything with a freighter this size without any stealth capabilities-- but he wants Will just to walk into the house using the front door? Will knows Adi has abandon a lot of the old ways to roll with this ragtag crew of miscreants, but Will didn't think he also abandoned all of his wits with his traditions as well.
Will sighs as he begins trying to work the problem. Will throttles the freighter around for a better look at the star destroyer as it is angled around the moon of the system and has a heading vectored out toward open space. Will rubs the scruff of his face with one hand as his other hand deftly works the controls on the console, powering the autoturrent and prepping the torpedoes for an inevitable incursion, blowing up of fuel cells or power generators. Some heroic flying would have to be committed in order to infiltrate successfully-- as a Jedi Master and a Corellian, Will was prepared to give the Imps a show of their lifetime and really show this crew of Adi's how flying is really done.
Will reaches for the throttle to push up the speed, begin with high velocity shock and awe tactic-- take them by surprise. . . before he could punch it, his nav computer chimed a notification. Will eyes the display with befuddlement. He furrows his eyesbrows and squints his eyes as if he was reading the daily update brief from when he sat on the Council. The information just didn't make that much sense to Will. .
But there it was, plain as day, a safe flight corridor and encrypted access granted to his vessel to safely pass through the forcefield guarding the inner atmosphere of the main hanger. Will continues to study the sensor readouts, no indications of scrabbling TIES to intercept him, no readings of a tractor beam enveloping the vessel-- the shields don't seem to even be engaged.
Will takes another second to search the Force for any indications of danger. Will can sense a hand full of users engaged on the star destroyer-- but the Force isn;t showing him anything more immediate to him.
Will shrugs and keys in the auto pilot to follow the safe path laid out for him by what must be Adi's crew. Will let the light freighter correct itself to head straight for the main hangar, allowing for it to seem as if he is flying casually.
Will leans back in the pilot's seat and props up his knee high boots and folds his arms across his chest in self-gratified accomplishment. Maybe he won't need to do so much work after all. . .

--------Minutes Later--------
If there was any one thing Zalor Anneri was especially good at in combat, it was making his enemy pay when he made a mistake. Through his Soresu training, Zalor Anneri had learned to be patient and stay alive long enough to see an opponent make a wrong move, and he knew it was only a matter of time before they did. Even though Zalor was using a basic Shii-Cho technique for holding off two opponents, the Saber Squadron commander must have gotten frustrated that it was taking so long for him and his second-in-command to take down such a puny Jedi.
Saber One's impatience eventually caused him to lose his grip on his electrostaff after Zalor had struck at its weak end hard enough. The staff flew out of his hand, and in only a second afterwards, Zalor's blade swiped across the commander's neck, severing his head from his body.
::No!:: Zalor could hear Saber Two scream from inside his helmet. ::You're gonna pay for that, you stubborn little punk!::
Now Zalor had a clear advantage. He only had one opponent to deal with, and that opponent was now clearly emotionally compromised. He seemed to forget his Deathtrooper training altogether and started wailing on Zalor's lightsaber defense with heavy strikes from only one end of his electrostaff, which proved easy to block. After a few seconds of this, Zalor's blade locked with the heavy edge of Saber Two's electrostaff, and the two stared each other down as they held each other at an impasse. Saber Two pushed against Zalor's blade with a single-minded fury.
::You're not walking away from this one - you hear me, Jedi scum? This battle's already over! Saber Squadron has never lost a fight against Jedi opponents! Make it easy on yourself and just GIVE UP!::
In the midst of the fighting, Zalor had completely forgotten about the lightsaber hilt hooked to Saber Two's belt, the one he had taunted Zalor with minutes earlier. As Zalor looked for a weak point in the trooper's defense, he happened to glance at his belt and he remembered it was there. Before long, he finally decided on his next move. He turned back to face Saber Two with a determined scowl...
"A true warrior never declares victory before the fight ends. Only warriors blinded by arrogance think that way - and arrogance always leads..."
Zalor let go of his lightsaber with his right hand long enough to reach for the lightsaber hilt on Saber Two's belt. The Force sent the hilt flying to Zalor's hand. In a split second, Zalor aimed the hilt at the Deathtrooper's stomach and ignited it. A blue saber blade suddenly pierced Saber Two's stomach, and Zalor could feel and hear the trooper wince in pain.
"...to defeat."
In seconds, the last Deathtrooper aboard the First Order Star Destroyer crumpled to the ground lifelessly, his electrostaff falling to the ground out of his limp hand. Zalor heaved a deep sigh, and he looked around the communications center to make sure it was clear. To his relief, he couldn't sense any more hostile troops near him. The comm center was his. Zalor looked at the blue-bladed lightsaber in his right hand, and suddenly began to appreciate the irony in its role in the trooper's defeat. Whatever Jedi had owned this lightsaber, though he met his end at this trooper's hand, still found victory through his weapon in death.
Zalor twirled both lightsabers in a quick flaunt of victory, then deactivated them both and hooked them both to his belt. He then turned toward the comm center's south entrance where he knew Artoo was waiting ever so patiently. "Coast is clear, Artoo. Let's find the master console and get this over with."
The astromech droid happily beeped and whistled as he rolled into the now empty comm center and went straight to work. Within less than a minute, he had found the communication center's master control console and began jacking into it...

[Beep-whistle-click]
Artoo had blasted through the Star Destroyer's communications master controls in a matter of seconds, and he let out a victory beep to let Zalor know he had succeeded.
Zalor suddenly motioned towards Artoo to stop, as the young Jedi remembered something. "Artoo, hold up. Don't give comm controls over to Tanara just yet. I need to try something."
Zalor suddenly walked up to the droid and knelt down next to him. He took his satchel off his back, laid it on the ground in front of him and pulled out his datapad. Zalor looked for a remote device plugin next to the data socket, and before long he found one. He quickly inserted his datapad into the console, then pressed a few buttons.
"Probably best if we let everyone in Naboo know there's no longer any First Order threat in orbit. Ah! Here we go!"
To Zalor's joy, the datapad lit up. Simultaneously, a familiar screen appeared on the master control console's display. It was an old program Asha had written for Shadows operatives to temporarily designate any ship they were on board as a Phantom Fleet ship, one that would register as friendly to any ally of the Jedi Shadows, including Republic ships. Zalor secretly hoped that the Alliance vessel in orbit would recognize it. Someone would recognize it. Their survival counted on it.
Zalor stood up and typed in a few commands on the console. Before long, a voice prompt came over the console's speakers...
::Initiating Ship IFF tag transfer to Phantom Fleet designation. Authorization code and voice activation from eligible personnel required.::
"Authorization code Zero-Seven-Five-Two-Seven-Zero. Authorization signature: Lieutenant Commander Zalor Anneri."
::Authorization accepted. Now transferring ship IFF tags to Phantom Fleet designation. One moment, please...::
Buttons on the console started to light up in a colorful light show, signifying that the program was working. Before long...
::Ship IFF transfer successful. This Gladiator-class Star Destroyer is now under the command of the Phantom Fleet. Welcome back, Lieutenant Commander Anneri!::
Zalor grinned from ear to ear. The ship was now theirs, and now its IFF tags would hopefully render the ship as a friendly to any other ship in orbit. "Good to be back!" Zalor pressed a button on the command console, and the program closed.
"Artoo - open up an orbit wide comm channel for me, buddy."
The droid beeped and whistled some more, attempting to hack directly into the ship's communication channels. He beeped again when he was successful.
Zalor took a deep breath, then pressed a button on the control console. He then spoke aloud into the communication receivers...
::To all ships currently in orbit, this is Jedi Knight Zalor Anneri aboard the First Order Gladiator-class Star Destroyer still in orbit. As of right now, a team of Jedi and Alliance friendly operatives have just officially commandeered this vessel, and we are now in complete control of the ship. Any remaining First Order personnel aboard are either dead, incapacitated, detained - or soon to be one of the above. I have just updated this ship's IFF tags - in the next few minutes, your sensor arrays should be marking this ship as a friendly. We would very much appreciate it if you would not fire on this ship. Thank you for your cooperation.::
With one last press of the button, Zalor ended his orbital transmission. He then turned around, heaved a sigh of exhaustion and slowly slid down until he was sitting on the ground with his back to the console. Artoo sensed his exhaustion and rolled up to his master to comfort him.
[Long whistle-beep-beep]
Zalor turned and reached over to pat Artoo on his dome. He gave his trusty astromech droid an exhausted yet relieved smile. "We did it, Artoo. I dunno how we did it, but we did it. We stole a Star Destroyer - right from under the First Order's nose. How 'bout that, huh?"
[Whistle-click-click-whistle-beep]
Zalor laughed and put his arm around the droid in a hugging motion. "You're right, ol' pal! Just like ol' times! We're back! ....ahh, yeah, we're back. Just like ol' times."

Well that went better than expected. Gratefully taking the hilt of his blade with his right hand the FO officer made sure to keep the point to the floor until he'd get the chance to get his belt and sheath it properly. Taking the flask and taking a long drink from it Patrick starts answering the man's questions, it was only polite after all since he hadn't killed him and all. He started with the first and easiest. The old man is fine, last I was he was still tending bar and drinking from that battered old flask that never seems far from his hand. Patrick had never heard anyone call him Master, but he had long suspected that the old man had much more history to him than he let on.
He took another long pull from his flask, buying himself a couple moments to collect his thoughts to answer the next set of questions. It's not that he was ashamed of the answers, it was just a complex story and he wanted to simplify it for the sake of time. Taking a deep breath he started to summarize the last half decade of his life or so.After leaving Fondor I fell in with a decent enough crew, they were private contractors hired to fly cover for a lot of big Core businesses who occasionally had the need for a little extra muscle to avoid pirates and the like. We were fairly good at it too. Good enough that the FO started to notice. They started giving us contracts, small things, taking out a pirates den her or there. Things that were annoying but that they din't feel like sending in their own people for. One day some big wig from Imp Intel comes in and strong arms ou commander into releasing a few of our contracts to him. At first it wasn't so bad, we were given commissions in the First Order Starfighter corps and spent the better part of a year pretty much doing the same sort of thing, just now under the FO banner. It really wasn't so bad for the most part. A lot of the guys I met during that time were decent enough folks, just trying to enforce the law and all that.He paused briefly for another sip from his flask, damn it was good to have a drink again.
What we didn't realize at he time was we were also being monitored and tested. Many of the pirate groups we fought were faked to test us against live targets. We were killing our own men and we didn't even know it. Eventually my squadron was assigned to this ship. I had been in a restricted area, trying to avoid notice after seeing a... well visiting someone else's quarters, when I noticed the containers of Dioxis gas. I was able to back trace the records from there, with a little technical help, and discover that we were some sort of experimental squadron, designed to be superior killing machines. Obviously I didn't like that much, but when I brought my concerns, and my fists, to my superiors they decided to lock me up here instead and send my squadron out without me. He felt a little guilty about that. He should have gone to them first and told them what was going on, but he had been so pissed he'd stormed the bridge immediately instead of going to them. His face went limp as he realized that his friends had probably gone to their death not knowing what was really going on.
