Nidana was taking the time when working with a teammate to work on her martial skills, using her training saber more than her strength in the Force. But when she was the solo fighter, she would use her Force powers to become as mobile and hard to pin down as possible, while assaulting the pair with telekinetic attacks. She dared not uses her lightning, for fear of injuring her classmates severely. The effectiveness of the strategy varied as she got progressively better, but so did her opponents.

It wasn't even a day since Gavin returned from Ambria that he was once again in the training area watching his students go through their routines, now adding in Krokaa's team exercises. It wasn't certainly something that needed to be done, especially considering the mindset being established by Viox for the Blackguard. Not something many of the older Sith took to well, but starting from nothing had proved beneficial for the group as they didn't have a stigma planted within them that needed to be removed. In time, they would be an effective team on the battlefield. As such, none would be able to stand in their way.
But as the hours passed by and the final lesson was to be started, Gavin pulled together the students. "You have hall been doing well. Your skills with the Force and in combat are something to take pride in. However, even the best skills mean nothing if you do not have the best weapon control. That is what I'm going to start you on now. What I'm about to show you isn't something I can teach you as once you grasp what I'm doing, it is up to each of you to find the flow and patterns that best help you become such a master. Now watch." For nearly ten minutes Gavin began working to show them what he intended for them to learn. At first, he started slow, spinning his saber in front of him. It seemed like nothing to start, but before long, he picked up the pace. From spinning it in the air, throwing it behind him, and using the Force, he worked to show that no matter what he did, he had perfect control and understanding of his weapon. He switched out from a single saber, to two sabers, to a saberstaff. But that was but the first five minutes. The final five, he switched gears as instead of showing control and mastery over the weapon and the Force, he demonstrated a flow of the Force as the weapons danced around his body in graceful fluidity.
When he was done, he looked at each of them to see if they understood what he wanted them to do. "That is what I mean by weapon control. There are two sides to it, as you can clearly see. The side most aligned with the Sith and their mindset. Working to master the weapon and the Force. Utilize spins and complex maneuvers that become difficult to keep with, training until your handling i at its peak, that you can keep hold of your weapon no matter what, or always be able to grip it with ease should it leave your hand, even without looking. The second half is a state of mind you will see among the Jedi. Say what you will for considering anything based on the thoughts of a Jedi, it is vital. This side of things requires you to change what you feel, losing the sense of absolute control and mastery and learning to let the Force flow through you and, in turn, letting the weapon dance around you with ease in ways that many couldn't understand. Sometimes, you may find some use from these moves in combat, but for the most part, they serve no purpose outside of granting you mastery over body, weapon, and Force. Now, spread out and begin. Don't try to do too much though. Don't be ashamed to go slow and work your way up."

The students watched as Gavin began displaying the skills of weapon control. At first, there seemed to be nothing special about it and was easy enough to do. However, in nearly an instant, that display became something fascinating and amazing. For the most part, the fell silent in awe at what they saw. It was even more interesting when he shifted his style.
When he went on to speak of it, none seemed to show an issue with the idea of a mindset of both Sith and Jedi. Since the start, Gavin had shown them ways of obtaining power outside of the typical mindset of the Sith so there was no reason to question what benefits they could gain. In fact, out of all of them, Cinnik found great interest in the latter style. Once he let them go, they quickly scattered around and began working on the techniques.

With another year reaching its final month, Gavin knew there was little else he could do in regards to their training within the basics. They had all done well over the course of the past couple of years, something that was commendable and that he was proud of. They had desire and dedication to their training. Soon it would be time to start working with them individually or in small groups as he'd work to help them find themselves, what they wanted from their power, and how they best fought. Yet, before that, there was another skill he wanted them to learn, one he knew who be of great value to them.
As the early aspects of their training came to an end, he called them forward to begin the day's lesson. "Today, I will be teaching you all a new Force ability, one I believe is crucial you learn. It is a power that could spell the difference victory and defeat, life and death. The skill is called Tutaminis. Another name is Absorb Energy. There are many variations of the ability, ranging from full body shields to more advanced skills that allow you to catch or deflect things as focused as lightsaber blades. In the end, what variation and level of capability rests with each of you. But we will begin working on creating full body shields to gather weak levels of energy and work our way to catching it in the palm of your hand. From there, it'll be up to each of you to grow in your own way and determine just how much you can gather before being overwhelmed. We will be using the training remotes and they'll be shooting their stun bolts at you. Focus the Force around you and use it to break down and dissipate the energy so that it can be gathered into yourself. Go ahead, each of you grab a remote and begin. I will watch and help each of you as needed."

With nearly two years of heavy and constant training, the effectiveness of their skills were becoming apparent, despite the realization a yar prior during the altercation with some older students. It didn't come without days of agitation and frustration, be it from repeating the same things over or simply wanting a break for an extra day or so. But compared to those few couple months, none truly complained, understanding the why behind what they did. They knew that Gavin only wished to make them strong and capable warriors beyond that of the average Sith. While there was still a long road ahead of them, it had been made clear to them that they were moving at a quicker pace than most, much due to their dedication and desires, but also a big part due to Gavin approach to their training and the nurturing of their skills, feelings, and beliefs.
When Gavin had them gather and stated he'd be teaching them something new, there was a surge of excitement through most of them. It became even more apparent when he discussed what they'd be learning. Many, if not all, had read about the technique and its different applications known through history and saw it as a valuable ability to carry in their arsenal. Listening carefully to his words, they broke up, taking a remote and began focusing on manifesting the Force around them in the widest and weakest of shields to gather, disperse, or negate the energy of the stun bolts fired at them.

Making her way through the academy, Luxeria paid no mind to the glances she got, both from those seemingly attracted to her or simply curious as to who she was. She hadn't spent more than a couple weeks here in total and that was a long time ago. So knowing who she was would not have been something many knew about. But it didn't matter. She only sought one within the academy. Reaching out, it didn't take long to find that neutral presence of Gavin's, so quiet and hidden away from all else. Giving a smirk, she quickened her pace through the hallways.
As she expected, when she arrived, he was busy teaching his students. A perfect opportunity to see what they were all about. Taking a place against the wall, she crossed her arms as she watched, Umbra taking a spot next to her as he observed and analyzed each of the fifteen students training. She had elected to travel light, wearing her lighter skirts and spaghetti strap shirts and her fiery-red hair down and free, which only worked to draw more attention to her beauty that so many seemed to fall for. She found it amusing that she was able to even slightly catch Ifrit's attention, even if but for a moment that he'd offer a night of fun before her equipment was finished and she left. Manipulating him, however, still would have been a far from easy task, no matter how she looked at it or attempt it. Her only weapon was he single eloquent lightsaber, Kyana Rendi, and her two bangles Midwan and Dishu.

As the students worked at successfully utilizing Tutaminis in its most basic form, many noticed Luxeria's arrival, though initially thought nothing of her presence. Being an open training area that anyone could come and go from, visitors and passers-by were common, especially when there came the special observations from other masters. However, it wasn't long before she started to gain attention. Some of the guys and even the girls began to become a bit distracted by her appearance, either by being drawn to her look or otherwise curious as to her chosen attire. She wasn't someone they were familiar with and the clothing didn't suggest traditional training as they had gone through, nor was it anything effective for training or combat. It was like she wore that to intentionally draw attention to herself or mock them all.
But despite those thoughts, it was clear she wasn't some weakling. It was clear as day, the strong dark presence that emanated off of her. Then there was that droid, a model that none of them had seen before, walking beside her as if escorting her or simply accompanying her. She was a mystery that begged for answers, so much so that few of them became distracted enough to lower their guards to the point of a stun bolt or two getting through. What was it about this one girl that was different from the rest that caused them to get distracted?

Gavin looked up as he sensed Luxeria's arrival in the training area. She said nothing but rested against the wall merely watching his students train. As such, he said nothing but continued on with the day's lesson. It had been around a year since he had last visited her on Mustafar to further her training. Perhaps she came to see him or even to see those within the academy. She had been passed the apprenticeship stage for two years by this point, possibly making her eligible to find an apprentice of her own to begin training. It would make sense then that she'd return here where the majority of training happened for the Blackguard.
It wasn't long before he saw his students begin to truly take notice of her. Even when she wasn't trying, she had that effect on people, a power that made her quite valuable to the Sith and a formidable opponent to anyone who was capable of being swayed. It was only the really strong that could resist her looks and charms. As the first couple stun bolts made it through the defense of more than half of the students suddenly, he decided to call the class early. They had spent most of the hour training, so cutting it down by twenty wasn't so bad. They sure wouldn't get anywhere else with Luxeria around. "Alright everyone. That's enough for today. Please, gather around. We have a guest that I should introduce you to." He then motioned for Luxeria to come forward.

She found it a bit amusing, watching as she slowly pulled the students' attention away from their training, which ended up getting them hurt a bit by their remotes. She couldn't deny that she enjoyed the feeling of all eyes on her, especially when it granted her power over them. However, Gavin noticed it as well and elected to stop class early. She made a slight pouty face at Gavin when she ruined her fun but otherwise moved to join with when he summoned her, Umbra close behind.
Her steps were smooth and graceful as she passed them. At that moment, she kept her head slightly dropped and eyes closed, knowing glance from the side only added to her image when moving past them. Finally moving her way to the front beside Gavin, she turned and faced the students, waiting for Gavin to go about his introductions while she looked at each of the fifteen students standing before her more closely.

Nidana had noticed Luxeria as she entered. She thought nothing of her presence at first (though she was one of the most beautiful things she had ever seen). But when it was clear Luxeria was watching the students it started to unnerve Nidana. Feeling the sting of her remote was a sharp wake up call from her distraction. She remained focused until the end of the session. Luxeria was almost more stunning in motion. The young Echani had only seen someone move with such grace back on her home world as master martial artists of Eshan. Nidana couldn't help but glance at her classmates to see what their reactions were.

As Luxeria moved through the group, Gavin let his eyes glance around to each of the students to see how they reacted. Would they be in awe of her? Would they be jealous? Maybe even desire her? It was possible they'd hate her, even. One could only guess. When she stepped up beside him, he continued. "This is Luxeria, warrior of the Blackguard Reborn. A bit of a new addition to its warrior ranks, having moved from her apprenticeship about two years ago from under the tutelage of the Jen'ari, Lord Malvus. She has also, under my guidance, undergone some of the very same lessons you all have and even some things you haven't got to experience yet. If anyone has any questions for her, now would be the time to ask. Gain some insight from one of the higher ranks, but not yet a master?" Of all the things he could have said or left quiet in his introduction, he had specifically pointed out that she had received some of the same training from him that they had. Perhaps it would further push them knowing that there was a Sith who was no longer under the tutelage of another that received the same training they did, maybe even have them ask questions.

The way she moved only worked to further entrance or otherwise mess with the minds of those within the group. When Gavin went on to introduce her, it came as a tiny bit of surprise that she was a member of the Blackguard, one who had not long ago risen from the ranks of apprentice. That would explain why she seemed so unfamiliar to them as she was most likely taking up residence on Mustafar or a planet of her own control. It also accounted for the confidence that emanated off of her. It was like she knew, without question, that she could bring all of them under sway without even trying if she truly wished.
What came as a small shock was two separate things. The first was the fact she had been the apprentice of the Jen'ari. While not the Sith'ari, Malvus was just as much a powerful Sith among the Blackguard and second in command. No wonder she wielded such confidence. Being trained by what many knew to be the second most powerful, if not as equally powerful as Viox, would certainly grant a level of training beyond most. The second fact that only added to the first was that Gavin had also trained her in many f the ways they had been taught. Two powerful and capable beings within the ranks of Sith had trained her. Too many, even outside of the group gathered that would make her awe-inspiring.
Then came the opportunity for questions. For the most part, there were none. Either too fixed on her appearance or power or feeling that in that little introduction enough had been revealed. But there was one who's eyes glistened in such amazement at the woman's appearance that she couldn't hold back her thoughts. Who was this woman? What power did she wield? Even more, what path to power did she take? The Twi'lek stepped forward as she raised her hand. She wanted to be seen by Luxeria, to know she desired to know. When she finally reached the front, Kosrezic spoke.
"What path did you take when gaining power? How long did it take you to figure just who you were and what you wanted to be?" With that question asked, the group looked to Luxeria, curious as to her answer. Many, in fact, were still trying to figure out their own paths to take. Perhaps Luxeria could help them figure out themselves and what key piece they were missing to help in the decision.

As Gavin introduced her, there were a few things that made her roll her eyes in slight agitation, especially the claim of her not being a master. True, she might not have been, but to make that point in front of all his students could have been kept quiet. There was no reason for them to know that. Still, as he asked them if they had any questions for her, she looked at them waiting.
For a few moments, there was nothing but silence. It seemed that perhaps she broke most of them like toys, especially with how some looked at her. But then one moved forward to speak. As the question was asked, Luxeria took a moment to look the girl over. A purple-hued Twi'lek who, by what Luxeria could sense, carried a bit of seduction about herself as well. It was a curious find, one that had her attention. Perhaps she would have to keep eyes on her, though she would continue to watch all of them, despite her amusement of distracting them. "I've known who I wanted to be long before I ever began training to become a Sith. I was in my early teens, maybe twelve or thirteen. I didn't realize I possessed the ability to use the Force until I was eighteen. It was then I sought out the Sith and have been training with them. Since then, I spent the next four years training under them. Including the two years since my apprenticeship ended, I've walked with the Sith for six. As for what power I sought, I chose to widen my approach to ensure I was capable of whatever task given to me. From being a warrior capable of a direct fight to the stealth skills of assassination. But my greatest strength and the path I sought from the start was seduction, manipulation, and illusions. The power to control and rule the mind has always been my greatest interest and power." While her voice resonated with the same smooth tones that could draw someone in, it was much more open than some would have expected. It was because she knew that they were looking to her, looking for answers that could help them improve. As such, she needed to be more in line with an instructor than normal.

It was interesting, hearing Luxeria’s knowledge about her desired pursuit of power. She seemed so clear on who she was and what she wanted. Nothing in her words seemed to suggest she remotely questioned herself. Yet, there was something that stood out: the time she spent among the Sith. Four years was short in the overall scheme of things. Most students spent that long training in classes and maybe as an apprentice. But in six years she was a warrior, and never once a student. This caused one to speak out.
"So you only spent four years training? Seems like you’d never learn anything enough to be considered a warrior. Is that really all it takes to be considered strong? Makes the Blackguard seem weak due to its weaker soldiers. That or gaining power is just that simple." The Zabrak stepped up, pushing through the effect she was putting over them. There was something about all of this that felt off. Either the Blackguard was weaker than he thought, power was indeed easy to acquire, or there was something else he missed.

Luxeria's gaze shifted to the red and black Zabrak as he spoke up. For a few moments, she measured him and took in his appearance. For being grouped into this batch of students, he was not only tall and better built but definitely more powerful than the rest. Most likely, he was born with some of the best traits of his people and a deep potential and strong connection to the Force. If Gavin brought him up right and what she felt wasn't for show, he'd most certainly catch the attention of many masters, maybe even the Sith'ari himself.
She then smirked a bit at his words. "Well, you could say I'm very dedicated and a fast learner. But, I'll say this. Even if you are like me in that regard, do not try to rush through your training. Take advantage of these years you have to learn. There is always more to learn. And yes, I've learned that gaining power is relatively easy. However, if you truly wish to master that power, to control it fully, and get the most out of it, then you must be patient and understanding. Growing quickly in power without discipline will corrupt and destroy you." For a split moment, her mind flickered back to the events of the raid on Darth Vader's castle and what happened to her. She might have been understanding before, but that day sealed the reality of what the Dark-side could do to those who used its power carelessly.

Gavin listened as the students asked their questions and Luxeria answered. With a bit of surprise, she gave honest answers, speaking in a way of ensuring they continued their training with patience and dedication. He was glad that she sought to do so instead of leading them astray. Perhaps one day, she would become a master to one of them.
When there seemed to be nothing else from the students, he dismissed them. Once they had departed, he turned to Luxeria. "So to what do we owe the pleasure of your company?"

When no more questions came, Gavin had dismissed them. Not a moment's hesitation came from the man as the final students disappeared from the training area. Giving a smirk, she brushed her hair from her face as she smirked, looking at him from the corner of her eye. "I decided to stop by and see how things were going. With my new ship finished and my fleet established, I had some time to kill. Having one's own transport does make it so much easier. I was getting couped up on Mustafar. But at least the year proved beneficial for my training." She then turned to him completely. "Plus, I wanted to check out your students. They seem pretty strong. If what you put me through is anything to go off of, I'd imagine they're being brought up quite well under your tutelage."

Gavin chuckled a bit as he moved away from her and began to gather up the remotes and put them away. "I see. Well, being stuck in one place without the means to depart can take its toll, especially on a planet such as that. But I can certainly tell. It's been nearly a year since our last meeting and even since then, I can sense the increase in your power. I suspect that even since getting your ship, you've been hitting it hard. Trying to prove yourself that much sooner?" He turned his gaze back to her with a knowing smirk. It wasn't the hardest thing to expect as it was always a mindset of Sith to defeat their masters. Whether or not she'd attempt to live up to the ways of the Rule of Two and kill Malvus, but he guessed she did intend to best him and prove herself worthy of being a master of the Sith. "But I have been working them hard. Everything I taught you aside from controlling their emotions and more. Three or more hours a day of focused and heavy training. It is my goal to craft the next breed of warrior among the Sith. I do believe it'll come to fruition as well. In a way, you are already proof of that. You are, in a way, the beginning of what I hope to achieve. These students will hopefully surpass even you down the line. So do any of them catch your attention?"

Luxeria raised an eyebrow as he turned back to her with the smirk. He was certainly on point with what she was attempting, working to become strong enough to face down Malvus sooner rather than later. Training for hours a day, every day was the only way to get there. But even still, breaks had to be taken. And for now, she expected she still had some work to do to get to that point.
Saying nothing on the matter for now, she moved on to the mention of his students and if she had her eye on any. The interaction had brought a few to the forefront of her mind, but for now, she merely shrugged. "I may. All seem very strong an capable, though a few stand out. Anything you can tell me about their pursuits of power and what they hope to achieve?"

Finishing his clean up, he returned to Luxeria as she asked her question. "For the moment, I can't really say. I have some guesses about some of them, but for now, I've only had them focusing on basics and skills that should be learned. I did bring up the question nearly a year ago to start thinking about who they were and what they sought from their power, though I have yet to ask them. That will change, however, in the next month. There is little else I can do for them in regards to the basics. They are skilled enough that they can carry on in their free time without me needing to guide them. With the beginning of their third year, I'll begin working with them individually to figure out what paths would suit them best if they haven't figured out what to do. Maybe another two years and I should be done and they ready to become apprentices."
