Anyone else having this problem when creating a post? Even now, I'm having it. All the options for things like font, color, etc. are completely absent from the UI. I'd post a screenshot but.... the buttons are absent.

Is it just the custom JvS formatting buttons that are missing (like Narration, NPC,etc) or is it everything (including font color, size, etc)?
Do you have any broswer extensions that block ads or JavaScript?

I'm using Firefox, and it's everything that is missing.
I don't even use any extensions so it's not one of those.

Earlier this week none of my quick tabs at the top of the screen were there, I could still click where they were and it would take me where I wanted to go but the actual buttons were missing, I haven't had any problems posting though. Firefox btw.

everything is missing, i just get a plain white box where the writing goes, and there is no formatting options what so ever (neither the custom ones nor the proboards ones)

I find that when our custom ones are missing (narration, action ect) if you refresh the page and wait a moment they should all appear.

The custom formatting buttons have been slow to load lately, but for me, they always show up within 5 seconds or so, and I have all the standard ones.
I'm still looking into what might be causing this. It's not happening for me, unfortunately, so that makes it a lot harder to pin down. If those of you with the problem could provide some more information, I'd appreciate it:

1) What version of Firefox do you have? You can find out by going to the Help menu, then clicking About Firefox. You should see a number like 22.0 I'm running version 22.0 2) What operating system do you have? Windows 7 Ultimate 3) What JvS color theme are you using? Have you tried switching themes? Grey theme, also tried with the blue theme and it doesn't work then either 4) Have you tested this in any other browsers besides Firefox? Does the same thing happen? everything works in Chrome, Firefox seems to be the only one i have trouble with 5) If possible, please add a screenshot of what your post box looks like.  |

I had that problem.
I believe it might have something to do with having some profiles hidden while others are visible within the same account. All of them have to be one way or the other.
Otherwise, the problem persists. At least in my case.

Hmm... I'm having this problem now as well. On this account as well as my main (Jair Crawford).
I'm on a Mac. I'm using Firefox (most recent version, just updated today).
And all of my profiles are set to visible.
Edit: I tried switching skins and that didn't help. Also I'm having the problem where you can't see the polls. And I discovered a new problem just now, the link to upload/link avatar picture is broken for me.

Odd. I don't really know what the issue is, it doesn't seem to be something I can control. I'll refer this to ProBoards support when I get a chance.
Anyone else who's reading this, please do chime in if you notice anything new that might help isolate the problem.

Yes, odd indeed. I don't know what I did/didn't do, but... right now, the problem is resolved. On all of my accounts. o_O
Well, I'm not complaining. lol It works now. But... I don't know what it was... or how it fixed itself... or whether it'll strike again...
