Darth Sirona listened, but also watched as Elarinya explained the whole of her predicament. And Sirona felt a now familiar feeling. Pity, or maybe even compassion. The same feeling that had made her open her ship to the Nightsisters that now rested and recovered elsewhere on board. She noted the forced smile and it seemed that was the tipping point. Sure, when it came to hunting down knowledge and artifacts SIrona was vicious and ambitious to a fault, but in moments like this, she had room to be understanding and generous even. Kneeling down in front of Elarinya, she reached out a hand and placed it on her shoulder.
You have made mistakes. There are none who haven't. You must learn from this and rise again, stronger. Sirona sighed heavily. I do not condone your actions, but they were yours to make. Sirona again paused, this time as if making sure with herself what she was about to say was indeed something she ment or would not regret in two hours. You- you are welcome to stay and become a member of my crew as long as you need to figure out your path. I do not intend to deviate from my own path, but there is room enough for more to walk it with me if you so choose.

She flinched a little as Sirona knelt down and placed a hand on her shoulder. Despite the progress she had made under Maethoriel's tutelage, she still had some lingering trust issues. Or perhaps it was just surprise born of the sudden act of kindness. But she forced herself to endure it and stay still as she turned her gaze to Sirona. She brought her free hand up and set it atop Sirona's on her shoulder Thank you... It... It would be an honour...

Sirona lacked the same poise of Elarinya when unexpectedly touched. A slight flinch shot through her, before withdrawing her hand a couple seconds later as she stood. I uh... sorry. Guess that's fair play considering... Sirona blushed from embarrassment. Looks like personal space is something we both value. I will keep that in mind and inform my crew... The historian made mental note to alert any who may need to interact with Elarinya. For now, I will be continuing my work, once that is complete we will be heading to either Roon or... Mustifar. Sirona had memories of the volcanic planet from when she had been a member of the Blackguard. Painful memories of a family she had turned from for her master and to be a part of something new, that has crumbled to dust. Fighting now to maintain composure, Sirona took a couple of steps back before turning to leave.

She moved her hand away and well clear as Sirona pulled away, the pair seeming to share a similar issue with unexpected touch. They seemed to be about as good as the other when it came to timidness and trust issues in these close situations No... it's fine, I just assumed... I'm sorry. I'm not used to being the only awkward person... She smiled a little awkwardly herself, trying to not make things too much worse. But they were both failing a little in that regard. She gave a curt nod as Sirona made mention of plans to finish her current work before deciding on their next destination No worries... I've got some work on the Guruthos to keep me occupied... She moved her hand from Ymir and stood up, deciding on a slight nod of her head in farewell as Sirona turned to leave. Hopefully it would just be a phase, so far she'd come a long way from where she had started. This surely would just take some time and practice

Sirona once more retreated into her room. Her work on updating the holocron was delayed by a wave of emotions remembering her humble beginnings, begging to be admitted as a student of the Sith from Viox, to being adopted by him and then trained by the great Gavin Pheonix and then Lord Malvus to becoming a founding member of the Conclave, and one of it's last adherents. Sitting on the floor of her cabin, knees clutched tight against her chest she let her emotions out in a torrent of tears. Long after the tears had stopped and her sobs dissipated into heavy, steady breaths, Sirona rose to continue her work.
Elarinya would not be long into her work before she would since another presence close by. Tesh, the Dathomirian youngling had found her way into the hangar bay and was watching the sith woman and Ymir with great interest. Once noticed she would give an enthusiastic, HI! Are you one of my new sisters too? Did Mother Sirona save your life as well?

Once Sirona had left, Ela had sure enough started back on her repair and overall servicing work on the starfighter. She was no mechanic, but she was a passable apprentice at such work and thankfully nothing beyond a surface level skill needed any attention. Anything of that order would need to be left to Sirona's droids, or perhaps what ever mechanic she might have for her own ships repairs.
It was not long, however, but perhaps longer than she would have liked, to notice the presence of another within the hangar bay watching her work. Sure, the XoXaan was deep in space and only those aboard would walk in on her. But she should have been much more vigilant than she had been. She finally turned her attention away from the Interceptor and toward the young purple shaded skin girl that had been watching her work. The enthusiastic greeting catching Ela a little bit off guard, since her experience with children was limited.
Were it not for the girl's black hair, she might have wondered for a moment if Sirona had somehow managed to reproduce, despite her reaction to contact a few moments ago. But she instead spent that moment remembering that Sirona had mentioned saving some Nightsisters. This child was undoubtedly one of them Mother Sirona... Ah! Dathomirian huh? Well, she helped get me off Dathomir, so I suppose you could say she saved me... but I wouldn't go as far as to say me and you were now sisters... I don't know, I can't say I know enough about your people to determine that...

The child was obviously disappointed at the response Elarinya gave. She clasped her hands behind her back, looked down, and proceeded to aimlessing kick at the floor in the way only a child can do. Oh. Well, Sister Maywyn told me I shouldn't talk to people who aren't my Sisters... But you are very pretty and not like anyone I've ever seen before! It seemed the child was recovering from her disappointment with gusto. But I'm sure Maywyn would understand, after all, if you're friends with D... Da... Dark Sirona (Tesh seemingly trying to wrap their tongue and brain around the word Darth and failing spectacularly) then you're probably alright to talk too! Their focus then shifted quickly (again, in that way only a childs can) to the Uvak. Do they have a name!? Do you really ride them!? Do you think I could learn?! This was clearly the main topic the girl had wanted to get to and had finally reationallized her way into think it was appropriate to now ask.

If Ela had been capable of blushing, she would have done so as Tesh grew disappointed, before springing back and calling her pretty. Children were not her strong suit, in part because her own childhood had been... complicated to say the least. However, something deep within her pulled at her heart, instilling a sense and desire to protect this girl. She quickly found herself idly considering the repercussions of what could have happened upon Dathomir if Sirona had not rescued the girl. A feeling of murderous intent aimed at those that might harm the girl briefly washing over her before disappearing just as quickly. Her thoughts were turned by the girl's next questioned, aimed at Ymir Her name if Ymir... She moved back over to her mount, giving Ymir a pat on the head which caused the Uvak to grumble awake and turn her black and silver scaled head about And yes, I do ride her. I once was apart of a regiment of Uvak Rider's... As for you learning? Well... I believe your people rider Rancor's, right? Hmmm, I'd probably have to check with Sirona and... Maywyn, was it? It's certainly possible, though we'd either want to find a smaller Uvak, or wait until you're a little bigger. But... Come over here... Assuming Tesh came closer, Ela would grab her by the waist and lift her up onto the spot where the saddle would usually be fastened. Setting the young girl astride the beast as she dozed off once again

Tesh giggled uncontrollably as she was lifted up and placed on the back of the large creature. Once astride the beast, her giggles abruptly gave way to silent wonder. Gently she pet Ymir on her neck. Good Yimear! She whispered excitedly. Turning to Elarinya she began to explain, Oh yeah, only the biggest and best Sisters ever got to ride the Raincores. They were big and scary, but I'll tell you a secret; they were very gentle when not hunting and would let me pet them! Tesh seemed supremely proud of this fact she had just shared.
It was at about this time that Maywyn entered the hangar, possibly drawn by the sounds of the youngling's mirthful giggling. She paused and took in the scene. I apologize, Master Sith. Tesh is excitable and out going. Come along Sister Tesh. Maywyn beckoned the girl to come to her side, but Tesh responded by laying herself down flat of Ymir's back and trying to wrap her small arms around the beast in a defiant hug. Tesh, we shouldn't interrupt the work that our... friend here was doing. Tesh responded with an exaggerated pouting face and an aggressive shaking of her head.

It was strange the effect a child could have on someone, but Ela could forget for a moment the things that troubled her. She was focused upon the little girl and the sheer amount of joy she was experiencing from simply just hugging Ymir. She smiled a little then Well then, you'll just have to grow up to big a big strong Sister, won't you? She turned away from the girl and toward the new comer to the hangar bay. One of the Nightsisters she had seen around the ship, but had rarely actually interacted with. One advantage of the interaction was that she now knew the name of the girl. Despite herself, she was not all that bothered by the interruption Apologies are not needed, she has barely been an interruption, and what little she has... It's fine. Ymir does not seem to mind the attention... As if on cue, the Uvak let out a yawn whilst being careful not to jostle the young Nightsister clinging to her back and neck as she did so She is welcome to remain there, unless she has other duties she needs to attend to?

Maywyn took a deep sigh and threw up her hands in mock surrender. Alright, Tesh, as long as you behave, Darth Sirona gave us free reign of everything but the lab and bridge... The bested Nightsister turned to Elarinya. I've seen you around, but I don't think I've introduced myself. I'm Maywyn of the Nightsisters. And are you an... associate of our host? Maywyn looked her over and glanced back to the smaller bed of hey next to the Uvak. If you need a room, we have an extra bunk in our cabin-
OH. YES PLEASE! Tesh blurted out, clearly paying more attention to the adults than previously assumed by Maywyn who was now bringing a hand up to her forehead to stroke her temples.

She hid the small smile that crept in, somewhat glad for the company that Tesh would provide. Ymir was nice and all, but not exactly sociable company. She turned her focus to Maywyn then, giving the Nightsister a slight bow Lady Elarinya... Associate is probably the best descriptor for how we know each other... Their past within the Conclave had not been particularly close. Their Masters had know each other well, and the pair had trained and sparred together once or twice. But that had been the extent of their interactions. Her focus shifted from such thoughts to her current sleeping situation as Maywyn offered use of one of their bunks, which Tesh seemed overly excited about. She forced a smile then, feeling a little awkward about the discussion Oh, no that won't be necessary... Sirona already offered me a room, but.. well... I don't have much use of one, Not many belongings of my own left you see... But I appreciate the offer...

Maywyn put up a hand, indicating no elaboration or excuse was necessary. I understand, besides, I suppose you will want to keep an eye on her. The Nightsister moved over, closer to Ymir and putting a hand on her. If you change your mind or want an actual mattress, the offer stands.
Tesh let out an audible Awwww of disappointment, however it was silenced by a sharp look from Maywyn.
Do not worry, youngling. I'm sure Lady Elarinya will be more than happy to have you as an occasional guest. This reassurance seemed to perk up the disappointed child who went back to petting and cooing to the Uvak. Maywyn once more turned her attention to the Sith. What has brought you to also be picked up like a stray by our host?

She turned her focus to Ymir as Maywyn moved over and placed a hand upon the Uvak. Keeping her partner company was a part of why she had chosen to sleep in the hangar bay. After their crashing landing, things had not been comfortable between them just yet Yes, well... our last landing was not exactly... confidence inspiring. But I suppose I can permit myself the use of that mattress... She'd not been overly fussed by sleeping on the bed of hay, but it certainly was not the most comfortable arrangement by any means, more just convenience since she'd not really been expecting to stay on for long. However, that had changed moments ago. Ymir let out a soft, low growl which rumbled around in her chest giving the slight effect as a feline has when purring as Tesh returned to petting her. Ela let out a huffed laugh at Maywyn's question Would you like the long version or the short one?

Maywyn smirked at the question. She sat down on the hey and patted the spot close by, inviting Elainya to join her. Until our host is done with her current project, we have no duties, so as long as you wish. Tesh was sure to keep her ears open, though didn't stop showing affection to the great Uvak that she sat astride.

Sirona had certainly indicated she had some work to do before they would be on the move again, so she supposed she could relax a little for the time being. She moved over and slid down into a seated position in the hay with her back against Ymir as her gaze settled on Maywyn I suppose you could say I've been a bit of a stray all of my life... I was not born as most people are, rather I was created in a lab, as a... a clone of sorts. You see the Sith, the species from which the present day religion stole its name, were wiped out aeons ago. Death took many forms, but the most wretched was the breeding out of my ancestors by those thieves that appropriated our name... Sorry. All that is to say my existence is not and could not be natural. I was created to be a weapon, for which purpose I was handed over to a teacher when I was little more than a baby... Her memories of her early childhood were so hazy, but she'd been with Ledo in all of them He taught me almost everything I know... But one day I overheard him talking to those that had created me and repaid his betrayal and lies with death...After that I fled and ended up with the Blackguard, before several of its members formed the Sith Conclave. It was with them that I first travelled to Dathomir to recruit your people to ally with us. A few years later I was back upon Dathomir during the fall of the Conclave... A madness had spread amongst the Order, infecting the minds of its hosts and driving them insane. My Master at the time was amongst those infected... She came after me and I had no choice but to kill her, She would have pursued me till I gave in and was infected as well or I killed her... I took no pleasure in the matter, but... it was necessary... Without the protection of the Conclave, I knew it would only be a matter of time until those that had made me sought me out again. So... I did the one thing they made me to do... She leaned her head back against Ymir I went after my Father... Well, the male donor from which half of my DNA template was made... It's... complicated... I tried to kill him and well, got my ass handed to me for my effort... I was not as strong as I thought, or he was stronger than I believed he would be. During my escape from that fight I ended up crashing upon Dathomir, and that's where Sirona found me... She let out a defeated sigh as she recalled everything again I thought if I defeated him I could draw them out and find them before they found me... But it seems that was little more than a pipe dream. Freedom remains beyond my grasp... So now I'm just hoping to lay low for a while, recoup my strength and... Well, I haven't really figured the next part out yet...

Maywyn listened to the tragic tale. While many of the finer points were beyond her, she felt something of a kinship with Elarinya now. She offered a sympathetic smile. I cannot count on a single hand how many times the forces within this galaxy have attempted to wipe my people out, but we always return. No matter how few Nightsisters are left, we find a way. We are strong, we are survivors. And you, Sister Elarinya, also seem to be a strong survivor. You will succeed, like us. Maywyn looked up at the youngling, still playing on the large reptile. We both are both willing to fight for our futures, and if you are even half as committed as I am, then that is all you will need.
Sirona continued to transcribe the contents of her journals, books, scrolls, and data pads onto the Holocron. But ever since rising from her emotional breakdown she had been feeling something in the Force. It was the same feeling she had gotten before going to Iridonia, and before resolving to ask Darth Malvus to train her. But this time she didn't have a clue where it was trying to guide her. That was until, she was looking over a journal, a list of places transcribed from the wall of a Sith Lords tomb. Her eyes nearly passed it by, but then the froze upon it. Roon. The headquarters for the Brotherhood of Darkness. The Force was telling her to go there. Perhaps she could find more information there? It would be worth a look, it had been mostly forgotten and isolated since the Brotherhood's destruction, and was not as fabled as Korriban or Dromund Kaas. Sirona rose, setting the Holocron aside for the moment and left her quarters and headed to the hangar. Perhaps Elarinya knew something about the planet's recent activities.

Ela was fairly versed in the rough history of the Nghtsisters and the purges they had undergone. People were easy to kill, but an idea? Those were much harder to eliminate. Her gaze snapped up and across to Maywyn then, as the Witch referred to her with the title Sister instead of Lady as she had done previously. It was a small thing which would have otherwise gone unnoticed, but such a title was not bestowed lightly and Ela had never really had any family before Thank you... Her own gaze passed up to where Tesh was seated I just need to find my reason to fight and survive for... fighting to survive just for the sake of surviving felt... pointless. What good or greater goal would it achieve? She needed to find a proper purpose. Taking down Quantum was a much larger undertaking than she could commit to working toward any time soon. One days, perhaps, but not yet, especially with so few resources

The doors to the bay opened as Maywyn was about to respond and in walked Sirona, seeming slightly dazed but determined. She looked over at the pair of women and the Uvak mounted Youngling. She walked shyly over to the group, feeling like she had interrupted something. She cleared her throat before addressing primarily the Sith woman. Lady Elarinya, Do- do you know anything about the planet Roon? She paused and then, as much of the time she did, felt the need to explain further. I was working and had a sudden urge, from the Force, to go there. Do you know of any recent happenings there?

At the sound of the bay doors opening, Ela turned her gaze from Tesh over to the entering figure of Sirona. She had been feeling a little bit better thanks to Maywyn's words after recounting her story. Despite the Librarian's dazed appearance, her approach suggested that her work was done and that a new destination had been chosen. A destination that Ela had been hoping would end up being Mustafar. However, such hopes were dashed away as Sirona asked about Roon. Her expression turned neutral, trying to moderate her feelings on the matter I know it is well known for Roonstones... It's also being ruled by a puppet government on behalf of a new Sith order that my Father is a member of... Her search for Valefor had taken quite some time, but tracking him down had lead her to discovering the existence of the Sith Eternal who ruled from Roon. She'd kept away from them, still cautious after what had happened with the Sith Conclave
