Clem had been off to the side surrounded by a few small crates he arranged into a small workstation. The few small tools he had across the crates had been neatly organized and he seemed to be wrapping up his work when he heard something clanging off in this distance. He didn't pay any attention to it and continued wrapping up his little project. A task made easier by he regained ability to see, and was in fact, the reason he was working on it in the first place. He missed the initial call about food but glanced up after a particularly random comment from the Jawa. Tightening up the last couple of screws before gathering up his tools and stashing them rather unceremoniously into his rather warn out travel pack. Standing he rearranged the crates to how they were initially before turning towards the others, promptly bashing his knee on the crate. Quickly checking the crate for damage and not finding any he secured it in place and walked over to join the meal.
Ah, thanks didn't realize how long I had been over there.
He looked at two briefly, the fairly tall Zabrak who to him seemed slightly off for some unknown reason, and the Jawa, whose every translation nearly needed another translation. Just another group of people with their own quirks he thought to himself.

The big man quickly dipped out another bowl for the clumsy human. Z'har had a feeling that he would be spending most of his time patching the newcomer up.
-Z'har No worries, friend. Making sure everyone here is fat & happy is why I'm on the ship after all.
Z'har took a moment to figure out where the rest of the crew would be. The captain would be up on the bridge for certain. The last member of their crew, a gungan, could be anywhere.

When Faina and Macario arrive at the conference room aboard the Jayanthi where they will be meeting with the Shadowtroopers accompanying them for the mission to brief them, the other ten Imperial Knights assigned to the mission are already present, and for a brief instant Faina has the feeling that she and Macario have stumbled onto something they were not meant to see or hear. The moment passes quickly however, Ilario Volkov, the dark haired and green eyed 37 year old human male laughing with a shake of his head and chiding Faina and Macario for arriving late; Ilario's familiar jovial nature making Faina believe the odd glances exchanged between several of the other Imperial Knights just before Ilario spoke were only imagined.
Leaning against the wall beside the door to wait for the Shadowtroopers to arrive, Faina remains aloof from her fellow Imperial Knights for the moment, watching as Macario speaks to Nilda Maly, reputed to be one of the most skilled pilots among the Imperial Knights, and the rest of the flight crew responsible for ensuring that the mission team reaches their objective despite the difficulties inherent in doing so. Aside from Macario, who she has known since she first joined the Imperial Knights, Faina knows little of the rest of the team save for what Macario, who has known most of the others for years and who has expressed faith in their abilities, has shared with her. Watching them now, Faina gets the impression that the group is a tight knit one, well used to operating together as a unit, and she hopes she can fit among the without too much difficulty for the mission ahead.

Venator-class Star Destroyer, The Jayanti - Conference Room
Since Nicolina has yet to be informed what exactly her and her people's roles are in the mysterious mission they have been assigned to complete with the Imperial Knights, she brings only PV2 Nirav 74, the male Khommite who has the slicing skills apparently essential for completing the mission, along with her for the briefing; once the mission's objectives have been made clear to her, Nicolina reasons, she will be able to better assemble a team with the appropriate skills.
Not surprised that Faina is off on her own brooding in a corner since that seems to have become the Imperial Knight's default setting for some reason, Nicolina walks towards her and nods a greeting, "Nikulin. So, she asks while adjusting the black cap of her Imperial officer's uniform, remembering that Faina has never been a fan of small talk, which one of your pals here is going to be in charge of this mysterious op, and when are we going to get this briefing started?"

"The briefing should start now that you're here, Faina answers the Shadowtrooper commander dryly, glancing towards Macario - a pale skinned, dark red haired, somber looking human male - as she answers the second question, Knight Genchi will be commanding the mission, as well as conducting the briefing."
Macario, having noted the arrival of the two Shadowtroopers, motions for the Imperial Knights he had been speaking with to find their seats before introducing Nicolina to everyone, "Commander Foresi, and, he gestures towards the Khommite accompanying Nicolina, venturing a guess that she has brought the slicer chosen for the mission along for the briefing given his importance to the mission, Private Nirav I presume?" Once the matter of the Khommite's identity has been settled, Macario introduces the Imperial Knights to the Shadowtroopers before beginning the briefing itself.
Faina, having already been briefed on the mission along with the other Imperial Knights, gives the part of the briefing getting the Shadowtroopers up to speed half of her attention, biding her time until Macario gets down to the fine details which had not yet been decided upon when the Imperial Knights held their own briefing. Macario spends little time on the mission's background, jumping right into revealing that they are currently heading along the Kessel Run, bound for The Maw where they intend to locate the remains of Maw Installation in order to attempt to find and retrieve the blueprints for the Knight Hammer; a mission that was originally planned to be undertaken sooner, by a larger force of Imperial Knights and Stormtroopers. Other First Order campaigns, however, had resulted in the mission being delayed until now, with a smaller, more spoecialized force being selected to undertake the mission.
Nilda and her flight crew, Macario explains, will be using their natural piloting abilities as well as the Force to navigate the dangerous Maw Cluster to the remnants of Maw Installation, where the other Imperial Knights and the Shadowtroopers will search the former research center for databanks believed to contain the blueprints of the Executor-class Star Dreadnought, the Knight Hammer. Commander Foresi and her chosen team of Shadowtroopers will be tasked with helping search for the databanks believed to be present somewhere within the long abandoned facility, with their slicer and the Imperial Knights selected for their engineering and technical abilities being responsible for bringing the databanks back online so that the blueprints can be retrieved.
Concluding the briefing by asking that Commander Foresi and her team meet the Imperial Knights in the hangar when the Jayanti has reached the location selected to launch the Upsilon-class shuttle from, Macario and the other Imperial Knights head out from the conference room, with Faina lingering behind briefly in case Nicolina has any unanswered questions.

Venator-class Star Destroyer, The Jayanti - Conference Room
Looking over towards Nirav when their mission objective is revealed at long last, Nicolina motions for him to come closer so that she can ask him quietly, "Sound like something you can handle?"
The Khommite, 74th clone of the original Nirav, nods after considering the task for a moment, "Sure. Depends on how corrupted the system's files are, assuming we can even get the system up and running at all, which assumes the systems weren't wiped or destroyed or damaged beyond repair, and of course if they are there and relatively intact I'll still have to make sure . . ."
Lifting a hand to shut Nirav 74 up before he starts going weak in the knees describing a lot of technical crap she won't be able to follow, Nicolina says, "Yeah, you can just stop at sure, the rest is all gobleddy-gook to me."
Already having determined who she will be bringing along for what sounds like it should be a pretty straightforward op, the whole navigating through a perilous and potentially fatal cluster of black holes aside, Nicolina tells Nirav when the briefing has ended, "Tell Grahn, Gerou and Hintlian to start checking their armor and gear. I'll be there soon so you and I can bring 'em up to speed. Spotting Faina hanging behind for some reason after everyone else has started filing out of the conference room, Nicolina decides to see if the Imperial Knight is actually in a conversational mood for a change, asking cheerily, So, you think your pals can really find a way through to what's left of Maw Installation? 'Cause getting lost or, you know, dead would be a real pisser."

While she does not find Nicolina's sense of humor any more amusing now than she has in the past, Faina has at least learned not to let it annoy her, and so she simply replies dryly and with utter conviction, "They were chosen specifically for their piloting and navigational abilities. Stopping short of saying that their safe passage through the cluster of black holes is assured, as she is not in the habit of making such statements when the future is always uncertain, Faina looks down at her prosthetic hand, gloved and currently indistinguishable from her uninjured hand, as she flexes the fingers, imagining she can hear the workings of gears and levers despite the fact she knows she cannot, and, her interpersonal skills as underdeveloped and rusty as ever, asks in hopes of preventing Nicolina from trying to engage her in conversation unrelated to the mission at hand, Do you have any other questions or concerns, Commander?"

Venator-class Star Destroyer, The Jayanti - Conference Room
As amused as ever by the fact that Nikulin can often sound like a protocol droid, Nicolina nods a few times while covering her amused smile by resting her chin on her hand and lifting her index finger in the classic pondering things deeply pose as she says, "Right, right. Awesome, good to know that they were chosen specifically and everything. Shaking her head when asked if she has any other questions, Nicolina says, Nope, sounds pretty straight forward all things considered."
Leaning against the wall casually to try and invite a shift in the overall tone to something less formal, Nicolina asks, "How's the arm? Getting used to the prosthetic yet?"
The Venator continues hurtling through hyperspace, continuing ever onward towards The Maw. . . .

Han paused from eating his meal for a moment, as he turned his attention to the clumsy human who had introduced himself as Clem. Never had he met anyone as accident prone as this human seemed to be. At least in regards to one's own safety anyway. Their Captain, Mirian, was a whole other story. He keep his gaze fixed on Clem, as the man collected his food from the Zabrak cook You break it, you buy it bucko... It wasn't the worst thing that he had ever said, which was an improvement over some of his translators mishaps. But it was a fairly accurate statement. Their cargo was fairly precious and damaging it would not look good on them as a transport crew

Leaving the two on their own for a moment, Z'har took a few minutes to run a bowl up to the captain. Once that was done he shortly found himself back in the cargo hold with the Jawa & Human. Setting the pot on a handy crate, he dipped himself a bowl.
-Z'har So, what is in these crates after all? I don't think I ever found that out before signing on.

Han was halfway through his bowl by the time that Z'har returned from the bridge, and asked what was in the crates. They'd already made a run or two, by the time they had picked up the Zabrak as a part of their crew. He then pointed his spoon towards one lot of crates Med Supplies.... Han then pointed to another lot of crates, figuring that speaking in shorter sentences left little room for his translator to mess up Mechanical parts... Then he pointed at the final lot of crates, confident that his translator was going to be nice and work properly Personal massager's... It was a close enough translation. The crates were marked with the Lust corporation logo, which would help the others within the cargo hold figure out what he meant. Although, a quick check of the cargo manifest would also explain it as well

The logo on the last set of crates was one of the more ... lewd, designs Z'har had seen. Truth be told, he had seen a very large number in his time, so that was really saying something. Then again, he had expected something along the lines of the rest of the cargo, if not that specific part of it. Most tramp freighters had a little bit of everything in their hold. A lot was usually pay on delivery stuff, but a large number of crews also did a little freelance trading on the side as well. For most companies running their own transports cost far too much to be worth it. The shipping companies on the other hand usually didn't want to deal with small order stuff, as it just complicated their own cargo manifests. The tramp freighters & free lance ships on the other hand were both cheaper & usually willing to move just about anything to anywhere.
-Z'har Want a refill? On our next stop, I will have to see about doing a good run for spices & ingredients. I'm halfway appalled by what I have to work with for the moment.

Han shook his head politely in response to the Zabrak's question, before going over to a display screen and pressing a couple buttons. A holoimage of Mon Calamari appeared then, before it zoomed in on Foamwander City. Han scooped another couple spoon fulls from the bowl, before pointing to the image Foamwander city. You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy... It was a nice run while it had lasted. It was like his translator unit knew exactly when to mess with him. Han tapped the infernal thing with his spoon, before trying again you can buy anything... for the right price... There were far worse translations that could have become, and that was close enough to what he meant for the time being

Clem had just about finished his own bowl, he had slowed down a bit as he had been mulling over a couple potential projects when he heard the inquiry about what was being shipped. snapping slightly from his thoughts he watched as Han pointed out what was in the various crates. The med supplies and mechanical pats were at least sensible to him, the final item sounded a bit off. He peered at the crate and saw the logo, recognizing it only as the same logo on the crates he had dedicated the past few hours to working on the project of his. He turned his attention back to the meal once again missing quite exactly what the design was.
That might explain why i though I heard a slight hum from one of the crates when i moved it. Thought it was something else on the ship though as it stopped rather quickly. Finishing off his bowl and placing it the crate, he took up his cup of Juice. Still, not bad considering. He gave a slight nod to the empty bowl he placed down. Far beyond the concoctions I would cook up.

Z'har finished his own bowl & collected the man's bowl. The jawa's bowl would have to wait as the smaller being had yet to finish. Z'har wondered for a moment if he had served too much for a being that size.
-Z'har Truth to tell, I've always been fond of cooking. It is very calming. This is the first gig where I've gotten paid to cook for someone. Scaling up the portions from two or three people into a group is being a bit interesting, but I seem to be getting a handle on it.
Screwing the top on his own drink, one he had not bothered to touch while eating, he kicked back & did a fairly passable imitation of lounging on the crate he was using as a seat. The juice as fairly good. It wasn't something he had tried before but it matched well with the stew.
-Z'har Mon Calamari, eh? I've never been out that way.
True enough for his cover. In truth, while he had never actually set down on the planet, he had burned a dozen-ship-strong enemy fleet to ash in the orbitals above it. He could no longer even remember when that had happened or who the enemy had been. Yet another in the seemingly endless bush wars & border conflicts he had been called on to deal with.
-Z'har Scum or not, everyone has to eat. I imagine I will be able to find what I need there.

Han shook his head as Clem mentioned one of the crates humming when he bumped it. He finished his juice and bowl off before moving over and handing them to Z'har, giving a shaking motion that he was done. He moved back towards the X-wing then, sorting through a handful of items scattered on the ground. He turned back briefly as Clem and Z'har conversed This is why the Zabrak cooks... we should get to our destination in... suddenly there was a bit of a buzzing sound from the translator unit two, two, two, two, two, two....bzzt... days Han tapped the device again, before pointing Clem and Z'har to the travel clock on the wall above the door out of the cargo hold, which displayed they would be there in a couple days days

Collecting the jawa's bowl, he adds it to the stack of dirty dishes. He rolled upright from his crate. He wasn't finished with his drink yet, but the quicker he got the dishes back to the kitchen. The stew would go back with him as well. Their was still one more crew member to find, but he would come to the kitchen sooner or later to get food. In truth the ship wasn't that large compared to many he had been on in his time. Even taking into account that nearly half the ship was engines & cargo space, it wasn't very large. It took him a very few minutes to start the dishes on a cleaning cycle & stow the stew. He could spend his time hanging out in the kitchen, but that seemed rather boring. He did however leave a note for the last crew member, pointing out the already prepared serving that would be waiting for him, as well as a request to let the cook know where he usually spent his time.
It wasn't long before he returned to the small hanger with the jawa & the human. Deciding that the jawa's task was already apparent, Z'har headed over to see what the human was doing.
-Z'har Working on anything interesting over here?

Although Clem had not known what was being delivered he did hear the destination before joining the crew. It along with a few other aligning reasons made the decision to join the crew, not necessarily easier, but something more akin to a guided event. He mulled it over briefly before he heard Han's translator mess up once again. Seemed like their was a short in the wiring, might be an easy fix but bearing in mind the rest of the odd statements that had been made by it, their was surely more wrong with it. As Han had moved back to his own project, and Z'har left to take care of the dining implements, Clem stood and went back to where he had been working earlier. He put an ear to the crate to verify that the humming had stopped before reaching back into his bag to look over his earlier work. He looked at he small case he had been working on, before opening it up. He gave a slight nod to his own workmanship before stopping briefly. He placed it back down on the crate and rummaged through his pack pulling out a small engraving tool. he quickly engraved a quick reminder as to what he had just installed in the case as a reminder to himself, or to anyone who happened to open the case for him, in case of a repeat of what he had been through occurred. He gave a slight nod satisfied with his work and then a slight jump as Z'har had asked him if he was working on anything interesting.
I have got to start paying more attention to things around me. He said shaking his head slightly, before turning to speak with Z'har. Not overly interesting in my opinion. But a feature I should have put in this thing to start with. He closed and picked up his eye case, being done with it for now. Just equipped it with a data chip with the blueprints for my eyes... Herm, I think I will add the prints for my legs on that chip later too. He added as an afterthought more to himself then to Z'har.

It was a small case, not much larger than his palm. From the look of it he had been engraving it.
-Z'har Looks like the case for a pair of glasses or goggles.

Clem nodded, Z'har had it almost correct. Not to far off, it's actually for these. He lifted his right hand, with his pointer and middle finger extended, and tapped directly on his prosthetic eyeballs. The complete and total lack of pain should have displayed the fact they they were not his natural eyes. The case has a few different functions, it can re-calibrate them if necessary, as well as clean them while being stored. I have no idea why it didn't occur to me to make sure that the blueprints were stored in here as well.
Slight oversight on my part I guess. He added with a shrug.
