Well that was short lived. Two gangster broads packing pieces and one with a hook like a Wookie -Di- “Your cousin gave me those….” Snide tone matched by look on his face

Mouth dropping open a hair he near blurted out "Talk to him then you useless &!+!. But he restrained himself. With an outward gesture of the hands he did shoot this at them as his hands set down on the table -Di- "Maybe you people need some counselling." Perhaps not the right words for a family known to kill one another as a leisure sport

The shot didn't move either of the girls. They both stared blankly at him. Bez spoke Bez "I am concerned with the business at hand, as should you be." The subtle threat in her words was not hard to miss

Di could feel the water getting hotter, even if his slights did nothing. And heat was not something he wanted here, for something told him that it might become some hot indeed. He grasped inside, if all the time holding a straight face. At last, all slick moves thought of and rejected he simple asked -Di- "Make a deal?"

Doz thought that she was going to simply blow this moron's brains out but she held back. The man's tried inner struggle was not amusing Bez in the least; she could make no sense of that and read only so much in his eyes. His simply put question. That was to her liking but she showed none of that Bez "Like what?" Bez felt Doz shoot her a glance for a fleeting moment as she asked but let none of that show. Both struggled with how to tackle this whole situation tactfully. Doz, waded into the topic with a logical argument in mind weighing out all of the checks and balances
-Doz-
“With how you are looking at things you must consider gross vs net profit….”
Bez did not frame her argument in such a way but said
-Bez-
“If you take what you have now, with no support, forget the fact that you may not make it out of this pub, or that Ciaran and Laoch will hunt you down like a dog. Consider this: you will have allll of that product…. Yes.”
She smiled
-Bez-
“And nothing but your wits securing it. How long do you last?”
Sitting back with her eyes wide licked her upper lip
-Bez-
“You won’t last a day….”
Smiling
-Bez-
“Call it as it is – ours and we cut you in not as a dime bag dealer but partner.”
No better offer existed
-Bez-
“That means 75/25.”
Di was interested in the bait but not quite biting, and you could see this. Bez was not battering though; see was making a take it or get gutted like a fish offer. But she did not wish to be aggressive
-Bez-
“That means any if any have a problem with you, they have one with us.”
She stopped there

Di sat looking hard yet leaning against standing. Pride was playing a roll. The deal suggestion was a last pitch. One that was not jumped on but handled with a skill he envied. He was not panting like a dog when Bez finished - outside but inside he was doing cartwheels -Di- "Done." Was that too fast? His heart raced

How many drinks in were they? Doz was getting a bit tipsy. Guy was uptight Bez thought. Doz interjected: He's cute. Bez retorted: What now? This sharing inner thoughts nonsense was torture. JUST ASK! -Bez- "Are you taking us home?"

The answer came in a heartbeat -Di- "I have a ship now - Don't I?" They were dealing on what he had been given so the question was valid. Either way he thought. Two drunk broads in Coruscant in mid night. He was taking them home. Their home - I think. Just let it roll

Answer came seconds after the words left his mouth. The guy looks flush Doz thought. Bez retorted: Hot - flush, relation? Doz snapped back: shut up b*t*ch. Bez answered -Bez- "Let's ride." Doz almost spit her drink at the wording, right hand crossing her lips. Keep eye contact; make him squirm a bit. I am a horrible person. She felt a smack in the head. Did that prick slap me? WT It was me moron! Bez howled inside. Both girls stood virtually in synchronicity. Doz took the man's hand and led him from his seat. What are we doing!?! Bez demanded. Then she grabbed Di's right. They drew him from the seat, not like he was resisting, and guided him towards the door. Across the room and out the door they went

Boland was trying to figure out how he found himself at the Outlander. Place was dead and he didn't stay long. Out and about he was now doing some shopping of his own. Smart man and he chose carefully. Odd man; purely out of second nature he began shopping at one spot then moved along til his route led him right back to where they had begun. The Raven flew around, stopping a few times to converse with some of his kind. He kept Boland in sight

This was once a place of high class, this "Outlander Club" as it was known. It catered to a number of exclusive clientele and offered and number of escapes from the struggles of life in various forms of gambling, even having a high draw to the scene of Outlander, the very game that gave the establishment its name once upon a time. However, it seemed time was not without a sense of humor and this very place, once highly renowned, had now fallen far from grace and become a haven for the scum and rejects of the galaxy. Criminals and crooks, the very worst the galaxy had to offer, were the predominant patrons of this place these days. Dealers and black market profiteers even ran their businesses out of here without even the slightest hesitation or fear that they might be apprehended for violating any of a number of laws established by the body of government that reigned. It really was ironic the way something that was fully meant to be one thing could so easily turn into something so very different just by way of changing hands.
Today was no different than any of the past times that I had been here and as I peered around the club, my eyes fell upon very few familiar faces within the crowd. Out of so many people that rummaged the inner dwellings of this place it was easy to slip from site and blend in and that had been just my intention in coming here. To blend in and not draw unnecessary attention, though wandering eyes and the occasional reach of another patron within this place were expected.
I ran a hand through my long, dark hair and smiled warmly to the bartender as I approached the bar. As he approached me at the counter I simply spoke four words, my voice soft, but direct.
"One Corellian Ale, please."
I didn't want his conversation or his company tonight. I simply wanted to sit with my thoughts and have a drink as I did just that. I could sense a number of presences around me, but none of which attracted me. None seemed to be enough. None of them would properly satisfy me this night and that truly disheartened me. For the last two weeks I had to simply settled for something that didn't fully satisfy. I hungered and thirsted for more. For something that truly appealed to me. But it seemed the pickings were once again slim so I sank back into my thoughts and sipped the ale after it arrived.
I tossed a few credits on the counter to pay for the beverage before turning on my heel and pressing my back against the edge of the counter. My green eyes scanned the room and I clutched the glass of Ale against my stomach.

I made my way through the crowd, avoiding any stumbling drunks as they spilled their drinks. I elegantly moved out of the way of the dancing Twi'leks as their lekku whipped around them as they spun. I was invisible in plain sight as I silently moved forward. Finally, I reached the bar, and sat down on the stool to Daeriia's right, just in time to hear her make her order.
"Make that two." I said with a smile as I held my right hand up to show two fingers. As the bartender went off to make the drinks, we sat in silence. I scratched at the scruff growing under my chin, lost in thought. I could sense her thoughts. I could feel her hunger. I sympathized with her, for I felt it too. Things were getting rough. At last, the drinks came and we simultaneously threw out credits on the counter. I brought the glass up to my lips as she turned around. The sweet liquid ran across my tongue as I sipped at it. The ale was good, but I did not come to this club for a mere ale.
I wanted something more exotic.
I set my glass on the table, looking at the wall behind the counter, taking in the dozens of bottles of liquor that lined the shelves. Rums, whiskeys, ales, hell, they even had Port in the Storm. I shivered as I thought back to the time when I had tried to outdrink a wookie, only to have been beaten by that kriffing liquid fire of a wine. Never again. I take another sip of my drink as I expand my mind until it touches hers. Her presence is familiar and comforting, and immediately, I find myself more relaxed than I had been all day. The herd grows thin... It's time we move on.
Of course, this was nothing Daeiia didn't already know. For weeks they had both been pushed to new limits to find the kind of sustenance only their kind required. And mostly, their hunts had ended in vain, yielding nothing more than the average-joe. Outwardly, my stomach growled and my left hand dropped to rub at my emptying stomach. I had only hunted yesterday, and then, I had fed three times, and yet, I was already hungry for more.
My grip on the glass of ale tightened and my knuckles began to turn white.

The Outlander club was as busy as usual, when Vrur'iwaz'auqi entered the establishment. Black skirt and boots, framed by a stylish leatherjacket and a nice pair of sunglasses to cover up her eyes when she went inside. Outside the entire city still was in turmoil, given the most recent occupation by the First Order - something what bothered Riwaza at the moment not too much as she had no quarrel with the Imperials, yet she neither wanted to have some. Like many others she had fled to the club in order to escape the political life for the moment, knowing that things rarely changed within the Coruscanti underworld. Yet this comfort was tied to a new mission of hers, as she had concluded another puzzle piece within a recent murder. Twi'lek, midtwenties, worked within a local office, found within an alley, strangled. The murderer wasn't caught by local authorities, as it was a minor fish -theoretically it could have been anyone as cases like these happen daily on a ecumenopolis like Coruscant.
Yet, the Chiss investigator knew by now, two days later, who had committed the crime. Or rather where to find the culprit. Nan Yhenn, Sullustan, bodyguard, working around nightshift. Due to her force-sensitive abilities Riwaza was able to pinpoint the roughly Sullustan figure at the location of the crime scene by connecting it with surrounding places, checking through various lists of employees over the last decades. His name was until then not known, but given the vision she had seen she noted a scar under his left eye and the quite beefy appearence, unusual for a majority of their race members. There were only three other Sullustans within the entire district, matching his description and only one of them worked within a buiseness, where a scar, most likely left by a projectile shrapnel is likely. Combined with a few other researches, Riwaza was able to identify Nan as the culprit. With around 1,7 meters in size, he had apparently stalked the young office woman, probably in an act of affection in order to strangle her down in anger after she refused, quickly finding his way out via the street network as it was a typical trait for his race: Sullustans, who knew a map of a location or their environment well, could easily find the best available passage for a quick escape. Therefore when the corpse was found, the murderer was already back at his workplace, twenty roads away - the alley ways inbetween not counted.
Given his appearence, Riwaza would spot Nan easily after a few minutes when she took a pause at the dance floor. Apologizing herself to the men, who flirted with her, she would quickly head into the crowd, while approaching the corner, where he was doing his job, overlooking so far the stage. So far not having a clue what awaited him, Riwaza gave him a friendly smile, when he nodded appreciating towards her, assuming that she was attracted to him. It was interesting to watch how nervous Nan Yhenn became when seeing her, probably because he didn't knew how to best approach her. Wouldn't he have been a psychopath, maybe she would have felt pity with him. "Care to escort me outside, big boy?", she lured him in, "I can pay well." Yhenn snorted, his dewflaps briefly shaking. "For a night?" "One, you won't forget." These words were spoken carefully, but the Sullustan didn't suspect a thing, when Riwaza went outside with him.
Once they had left the Outlander club, they went to a luxorious airspeeder few meters away from the club itself. When Riwaza looked through her handbag, seemingly for the keys, the bodyguard looked up impressed. "Cool car you have there, miss." "I know, right?" "Could swear I've seen a similiar one before, same nubian silver, owned by some Ithorian buisenessman, who visits the club... nontheless, seems you're quite rich then, eh?" The sudden feel of cold blaster steel within Yhenn's neck suddenly made him froze. "Actually not, as I don't owe the car", Riwaza said cold, the tone in her voice having changed into a more serious one, "Nontheless, Nan Yhenn, I spoke the truth when I told you I would give you a night you won't forget. So, you want to tell the cops what you did to that poor Twi'lek girl or do you wish to explain yourself to me, before I deliver you over?" It was an easy taunt, as given her expierience, Riwaza knew that she had no evidence to turn in Yhenn for his crimes other than her own force abilities and a few calculations. Yet, the Sullustan's angered roar told her already enough to know, that he didn't knew that. Furiously he turned around, in an attempt to attack Riwaza in the same way as he attacked the poor office girl, solely to get shot in his left arm by a WESTAR-34 blaster's shot. Stunned by the sudden hit, burning like fire through his arm, he screamed in agony. "I'll make you pay for this, just like I made her pay!", he yelled in his rage, yet pinned down by the Chiss boots, "I killed her, because she was just as arrogant as you, you stupid-" The tip of the heel mercilessly stinged into his remaining shoulder, increasing the pain for the broken bodyguard even more as he yelled. Recording his statement, Riwaza nodded pleased. "That's all I needed to hear, thanks", she merely replied as she put the hand of him into a handcuff, tieing him to a nearby metal fence along the roadway, "The police should arrive in a few minutes, Mr. Yhenn, as I already contacted the department before I approached you." "How... how much was paid for my head?", the bodyguard weakly replied as he realized that this was a lost battle for him, "I... I can pay better, if... if you just let me go..." Pityful the Chiss eyed him, her red eyes hidden still behind her sunglasses. "Nothing", was the mere answer, "I simply hunt scum like you in my freetime." And with these words spoken she turned her attention towards the incoming law enforcement task force.

Felix Blake was playing a gig with a band in the Outlander club. A graduate of the prestigious Corescanti Acadamy of Music in the Fields, he was disappointed that his chosen profession as a musician barely paid the rent. Fortunately what he did have was a girlfriend with a cushy government job in garbage hauling. From what she told him, The Garbage Union, had some smooth negotiators.
Unlike how he was UN-smoothly negotiating the Dorian Scales and chord progressions on this Gamorrean folk-melody done as a techno-union rhapsody, with an outer-rim new-age cha-cha-hop-slide-twist. O. M. G. this music was soooo meta-composite it made Felix's head hurt. Metaphorically, If this music was a drunk patron at the Outlander club, Felix would have stopped serving him and kicked him out the door, then called the cops. Or mob. Whomever the hell ran this place.
He fucked up another chord... and probably no one could tell.

Within minutes of Faust's arrival at the Outlander club, he found himself at the card tables. If there was anything that Faust loved, it was playing cards and playing the odds.
He took out a spiceweed cigar from the pocket of his jacket. And winced at how stale it smelled. He made a motion, and a server quickly approached. "Could I get a Spiceweed Cigar please?" "What variety?" "There are varieties??" "Yes, we have Blue Midnight, Steel Dawn, Purple Hue, Hue Hue, Deep Breath, Dank Breath, 6 breathes, Breathless, Sexy Man, Mothah Fukkah, and Pulp Aficionado..." Her voice trailed off hoping Faust would make a selection so she wouldn't have to keep on listing the varieties of spiceweed. Hitherto, Faust had only been getting his cigars from the imperial PX depo-- they only had one variety there-- "First Order, Imperial MAX flavor." was what it said on the box. He didn't know what any of that meant.
"Do you have any "Imperial MAX flavor?" The server seemed puzzled, "I've never heard of that variety before. I assure you any of our varieties are the best the galaxy has to offer." "Will they taste like Imperial MAX flavor?" He hopefully asked. "I don't know. What does Imperial MAX flavor taste like?"
At this point, the other players were starting to get impatient. Card play had progressed to Faust's turn, and the whole table was waiting for him, to up the bet, equal, or bow out. Faust turned back to the table and upped the bet with a sheepish smile. "Sorry for the hangup guys." Faust turned back to the Server. "It tastes like, you know, Spiceweed cigars." "Have you ever tried any other variety of Cigar?" "What were the varieties again?" "Blue Midnight, Steel Dawn, Purple Hue, Hue Hue, Deep Breath, Dank Breath, 6 breathes, Breathless, Sexy Man, Mothah Fukkah, Pulp Aficionado, Calm Taint, Fry Your Tuck, Duck Duck Gootch, FedCivPro and Trident. We have alot more. Should I get you a list?" The server seemed to dread having to repeat the list.
"What is Calm Taint like?" Faust asked tentatively. "Dry, mellow, with a tangy finish."
The table was once again waiting on Faust, with more annoyed looks than before. Faust turned back to the table and upped the bet again. "Sorry again. Seriously, anyone want something? Its on me?" No one at the table was a taker.
"What about Trident?" He asked. "Bold, minty, majestic, but understated." "What about the FedCivPro?" "Musty, Musky, like government work and aftershave." "Wow, Why would anyone like that?" Faust wrinkled his nose. "You'd be surprised. Its very popular with our baggy-saggy public servants. It appeals to them for some reason." The server shrugged. "What's Sexy Man like?" "Tall, dark and handsome." "What are the odds, that you think a guy like me," He began. Faust motioned to himself. "Yes?" She responded hopefully. "... would like Trident?"
He had no idea. Faust missed the server's pickup line. "I would say, 3 to 1." She narrowed her eyes with her finger on her chin. "I'd say you were more of a Sexy Man..." "Miss, are you hitting on me?" Faust was preparing himself to be genuinely flattered. "Maybe? Maybe Just making sure you appreciate the service and give me a good tip." She winked at him. "Its your play." She hoped the banter would send a stronger hint.
"Its what?" Faust looked around and saw the rest of the table was glaring at him waiting for him to play. He upped the bet and turned back to the delightful server. "I, ah, I'll try a Trident!" "So you're not a Sexy Man?" She playfully displayed mock disappointment. "I, ah, well, No, I mean, Yes..." Faust looked back at the table to see glares again. Apparently all the other players but one bowed out, only leaving Faust. "I am so sorry guys." Faust turned his cards over and turned back to the server. A chorus of gasps were heard from the table.
"I don't buy the marketing. I'll have a Trident." He had to elevate his voice over the voices of the other players. "One Trident coming right up!" The server dashed off to get the chosen Spiceweed cigar.
Faust turned back to the table and the loud exclamations of his fellow players. "A daring play, monsewer! The House congratulates you." The Dealer swept the stacks of credit chits towards Faust.
"NICE!" Faust raked them in. This was going to be a good night! He also wondered if he might be lucky enough to get that server's contact information...

Felix Blake had a solo coming up. The music swung and rattled, as the other musicians decrescendo-ed. The rhythm and base keyboard stepped up the intensity, laying down their shifting syncopated time signature. This was it!
Felix stood and the spotlight shined. It highlighted him in his swanky red dapper duds against the dark curtain behind the band.
He began low and slow, with his note, building building building! until all eyes in the vicinity were on him. he jazz-trilled, and the audience was thrilled. But he was only getting started. he began a stunning series of breathtaking arpeggios, his fingers dancing up and down his instrument like a lover, exciting and enticing his beloved. Feliz closed his eyes, lost in the music, as many of the audience were becoming.
Though time seemed to stop, it also was over all too soon. Felix opened his eyes. The ecstatic applause and cheers of the audience at the club bore witness to the skill and artistry they had seen. The rest of the band resumed back into the song, and Felix stood bowing as the audience continued to cheer.
The band leader gave a signal for Felix to sit down, and he did. But the Audience continued applauding. Calling. Demanding. The song began to wind down, and finally the band leader signaled for Felix to perform an encore to his solo.
Felix stood. and played. and the world laughed He hummed, and the world cried. He trumpeted, and they fell He made his instrument sing, and they transcended all.
Faust was riveted by the performance. He sat, listening. He didn't even notice the server leave the spice weed cigar for him on the table...
