The table flipped over onto an end and crashed to the floor, its single leg jutting up into the air. Delmani, directly to the stranger's right side, felt his fist clip fabric. A strong hand pressed against his shoulder before he could throw himself forward once more. Slag was facing the man but still slightly to his left. The Black Operator threw his hands up as the stranger reached for his neck, preventing his attacker from gaining purchase. As the stranger threw his head forward Slag clenched his fists into the man's hair and jerked his head back, causing the stranger's forehead to smack against Slag's cheek. Slag wrenched at the man's head, using his own weight the stranger's momentum to launch him passed Slag and into the length of wall beside the booth. Slag began to release his grip on his opponent, tossing him as one would toss a sandbag. Ander held Delmani back with a hand against his shoulder and watched Slag handle their opponent. The two men grappled for a brief moment until Slag attempted to throw the man passed himself. Ander chose that as his moment to strike, taking over for Slag. Ander launched himself passed Slag's backside as the Operator began releasing his grip on the stranger. With his arms outstretched, Ander would catch the man with his own shoulder just below the armpit, the rest of his body weight would crash against his target's upper torso and intercept his path towards the wall. To remain useful, Delmani sidestepped, placing himself to the rear of the group, barring the drunken stranger passage from the fight he'd started.

Slag's hands wen up to block Will's attempted lock of his neck, Will was in ready stance for what was coming, which means Will didn't attempt the head butt. Instead, Will took the hands that were now presented him freely by Slag, and quickly pivoted to present his side to his opponent and through his into his abdomen to perform a text book hip toss. Slag would be launched toward Delmani. . . but as that Mandalorian would be flying towards them, the apparent leader (Ander), is diving toward Will.
The alcohol has taken hold and has slowed his senses, allowing Ander to find purchase under Will's armpit-- crashing Mandalorian muscle into the Corellian's rib cage guarding his lungs. Son'tir gasped as he and Ander is launched to the other side of the club, crashing through another adjacent table with various beverages in containers shattering instantaneously. Will shook glass out his silver streaked, jet black hair, and brought a Captain Kirk styled hammer fist down on the back of the uniformed man. Will's eyes half glazed in drunken fatigued, trying to find focus on the other three men. . . .

Slag stumbled several steps away as the stranger's side pushed against him, though he maintained well enough control that Delmani was not forced to divert his attack and deflect him. Slag merely stepped aside, turning back toward the fight and watched Ander tackle the man to the ground. The stranger was slammed down onto another table, which collapsed under the combatants' combined weight. Glass shattered and liquids spilled, making the floor a hazard to walk on. Ander felt his opponent hit him in the back with a pair of fists, though he shrugged the dull pain off with a grunt. He kept his head pressed against the man's chest, holding himself as close to his opponent as possible. His fingers were balled tightly into the folds of the man's clothing, the fabric stretching across his chest. Upon hitting the ground, Ander had ended up sitting atop the stranger's waist. Quickly, his forehead thrust against the man's sternum, Ander grasped the front of his opponent's tunic with one hand. Ander kept his weight low against the man so as to prevent the adversary from using a high center of gravity to buck him off. Hunched over, Ander's weight was resting against the man's hips and taking away much of his ability to maneuver. It was now that Ander used his free hand to rain blows sideward toward the stranger's head with an open hand. The strikes would do less damage, but would hurt plenty, the open-palm leaving him the room to grasp and manipulate the man's arm on that side if need be. The struggle now lay in keeping his opponent's blocking arm outside of his own, retaining his free access to land short, but fierce and repetitive strikes.

Will took several shots to the rib cage with gritted teeth. After 4 or 5 shots, Will lets a pained grunt; he balled up his fists, closed his eyes and took a deep breath in gathering the energy all around him. After a moment, he shouts a loud growl and slams his fists down and his hips up-- sending a fierce and masterfully executed Force Repulse all around him; sending chairs flying and breaking into splinters and glasses shattering all around; tables rolled up and over themselves. Bystanders screaming in shock. . .

Nathaniel walks into the Outlander Club, his eyes surveying the scene around him. It's a mess in here, might as well have been a battlezone, but regardless his stride walks him up to the bar. He orders his typical whiskey on the rocks and sips it softly while turning around back to see what is happening in the bar. Pretty average night, but there is a reason he is here.
Bloodrayne goes and sits in the corner stall and waits as a droid walks in. It's photo-receptors seem to have been removed, an empty sockets staring out like a long dead skull. It seats itself in the stall and holds out it's grey metallic hand. Nathaniel reaches from inside his black trench-coat and removes a data-chip handing it to the deathly droid. Silently the droid stands up and walks back across the club's floor and out the entrance again. Nathaniel himself follows it outside shortly after, pulling his black hood over his head as he exits into the street.

Vee followed Sven and Don through the Entertainment District.
She'd been here a few times before for work. Every time they came Don drug her to the Outlander amid her protests. Gambling, dancing and whoring were not among her choice activities. In times past she resigned to drinking in their room, something she could do almost anywhere on-planet, while Don enjoyed the club's varied pleasures. This time, however, she didn't mind the Outlander so much. She was thankful to be alive and in one piece. She would try to pace herself this time, so the daylight hours weren't spent solely nursing a hangover. She knew there were tons of sights to see and she intended to make the most of her time here.
It would also get her away from the V'hett cousins.
Her affections were confused. The chemistry with Sven was undeniable, even if it was obviously going no where. But the unexpected heat she suddenly felt with Don...it threw her completely off balance. Never had such an innocent comment revealed so much to her. And never had it made so much sense. The funny thing was, now that the awareness had set, she wasn't just feeling the attraction from her end...she felt it from Don too. At least she thought she did. Maybe she was blowing this out of proportion. She inwardly groaned.
Vee?
She snapped back from her train of thought. 'lek?
She noticed they were standing in front of the club, neon lights brightly lit. Both cousin were staring at her carefully, the lights casting their faces in a mismatch of strange colors. Patrons of all kinds of species were pushing past them, entering and exiting, even though it was still early in the evening. I was saying, we should get a room and leave our bags, then find somewhere to eat dinner. Don arched a brow That ok?
She nodded. Sure. Fine.

Ronin had hung back, sticking to the shadowd, letting them cover and surround him as if they were unseen creatures. For the former assassin staying unseen was like breathing, it came naturally. Blending in Ronin donned the black cat mask which enhanced his sight allowing him to stay further back and stay unseen.
What was up with Vee, she wasn't herself, and hadn't been since they landed. She felt off, like she had a short in the wiring of her brain. Where was the woman who knew what she wanted and went for it, where was the red headed bull dog he had met earlier?

I shot a quick glance at Sven as I turned back to the club entrance. I could already hear and feel the beat of the music. Guests pushed past us, some giving us dirty looks for blocking their way, others looking on in mild curiosity at our armor. For some reason, I didn't like being noticed. A tingle went down my spine, despite no sign of threat.
"C'mon Red."
Vee shuddered as I grabbed her arm, but didn't resist me. Whatever head trip she was taking, I was starting to worry. That is, until she pulled away from me with some of her sass. "I know how to walk, Don, but thanks."
She huffed off to the bar (typical), her red head disappearing into the crowd with Sven close behind. That's more like it. I made my way to the main counter. More stares. "I need to get a room." I shouted easily over the music. The crowd parted for me as I made my way to the bar and sided up to Red and Sven. They were both brooding over glasses of what looked like whiskey. I sighed, running my fingers through my hair.
"Hey!" I nudged Vee, holding up the room cards when she turned to me. She nodded, sliding out of her stool after draining her glass in one, swift swallow. I waved my hand in Sven's line of sight when Red decided not to inform him for me. I motioned with my head he should follow us. His response was the same as our captain's. We made our way to the room. It was small, but would do the trick. Music could still be heard and felt from the club below.
"Ready to party?" I offered my most winning smile. Sven glanced at Red, who was tactfully avoiding both mine and Sven's eyes.
"I think I'll go to bed." Vee threw herself on one of the two beds. I narrowed my eyes.
"You kidding? How could you possibly be tired after all the sleep you got over here?"
I looked to my cousin for any sign they did more than rest in bed, but his reaction showed he was just as confused as I was.
Vee rolled her eyes. "Just go already! You know I don't like to dance and 'hang out' like you do." She shot me an accusatory expression that took me completely off guard. I tipped my head at the door, silently asking Sven to leave me with Vee. He wasted no time. After the door shut, I took a seat on the foot of Red's bed.
"You wanna tell me what the hell's going on, Red?" I kept my voice low, but made sure my tone was firm enough to signal that I wasn't asking for my damn health. Ever since I came back from meeting the rep, Red had either been spaced out or combative. "I saw you on the com...does that have anything to do with this?"
Vee kept her face away from me, offering only her profile. "Just Drika wanting to make sure we're safe."
"Ok..." No revelation to be found there. "How's she?"
Vee was quiet for a moment. "Fine. She was worried about us. I feel bad that I didn't let her know what was going on."
I frowned. "That's all?"
Red's eyes darted to me now as she swung her long legs over the bed and sat up. Her face was lined with anger. "That's all?" she repeated after me.
Nice going Don. "I just mean...well, I'm sure she's fine and you shouldn't worry about that." I explained lamely. It still didn't explain her reaction to me afterwards. Or now. Nothing explained why she was behaving so un-Vee-like.
Vee clenched and unclenched her jaw. "Yeah." She stood. I remained seated several seconds as she went to rummage through her pack, waiting to see if she had anything else to say. When she continued to not even so much as acknowledge me, I stood and began to undress.
"What are you doing?" Her voice almost seemed panicked.
I blinked in confusion. "Getting undressed."
"Why?" Her blush returned. I frowned.
"Are we ok, Red?"
She chewed on her lip, still searching for something in her fucking bag. "Just have some decency to do that privately, will you?"
That was it. "What the fuck, H'rel." I raised my voice slightly. Her head snapped up, then she froze when she saw my face. I tried softening my expression. "Look, something's wrong, just tell me...what's going on."
I could easily sense her hesitation. "Vee..." I probed gently. "Whatever it is, you can tell me."
Several long moments, then she turned away from me, guarded as she sat down on the edge of her bed. "No..." she said softly. "I can't."

Ronin watched on as the three went into the club. Removing and placing the mask back in his coat pocket he too made his way into the club blending in with the sea of bodies. The red hair was easy enough to spot at the bar, the owner in the company of what appeared to be Don and Sven. As they went upstairs and were out of sight he made his way to the bartender. The bartender's was easily caught with the flash of a few credits. Ronin leaned forward, his voice sounded like a man doing all he could to hold back a tide of rage, hate, and disgust.
"That red head just up here is my whore of a wife, she spends all my hard earned money and sleeps with whatever she needs to in order to get her fix. I need the room next to her so I can catch her in the act and divorce her cheating ass before she takes everything I have for her addictions."
The bartender's expression softened with a look of sympathy and understanding reflecting in his eyes. Grabbing a key he handed it to Ronin
-Bartender- "My kriffing ex wife did the same shit to me, cleaned out my bank account before running off with her fitness instructor. I hope you nab the bitch, just don't trash the rooms bud."
Ronin gave a nod in appreciation as he exchanged the key for a few extra credits to the pleasure of the man across the bar. Making quick work of getting to his room Ronin locked the door behind him and set about getting tools ready for his mission. Listening he heard raised voices, someone wasn't happy. It sounded like Sven had left the room signaled by the closing of their door leaving Vee and Don alone. This was nothing personal, he admired her form, liked watching her leave though she talked a bit too much. Still if things were different maybe he could have flown with her again. As it was Ronin quickly put together a pipe bomb that instead of exploding set off a gas of Atracurium which would neutralize any threat easily enough leaving those caught in its colorless gas paralyzed for a period of time. If someone had time to smell it, it was already too late for them. Ronin eyed the air vents with a grin.

It wasn't exactly difficult work, tailing a guy who kept almost exclusively to the shadows instead of trying to blend with the main mass of the crowds on the street, but the mask he opted to use made him stand out even more. Especially when the individual doing the tailing could shift their vision into a spectrum that made the shadows disappear entirely. Greymalkin had spent his considerable lifespan perfecting his control of his own body and what little ethereal energies he could conjure, and the result had paid off in dividends that even he could not have anticipated. Not only was he able to utilize both to gain various combat advantages over mundanes, but his ability to stalk his prey undetected was nearly unparalleled.
At this particular moment, he had taken the form of a middle-aged man in classic business attire, walking confidently through the crowded street as though he owned every being on it. A few moments ago, he had been a beggar hunched over a collection bowl as he hobbled along in rags, and in a moment, when his current target no doubt followed his primary ones into the cantina, he would become a young woman clad in black leather, and he would not be surprised if he were to take on half a dozen more guises before the day was through.
When she stepped into the cantina, it took her a few moments to locate both of her targets. Red was easy, though a moment longer and she would have disappeared into the lift before Grey spotted her, but the Doc was a little more difficult. She eventually spotted him leaning over the bar with his face twisted into a visage of anger and disgust, exchanging words with the bartender. Not a moment later, the man slipped him a keycard and a look of sympathy, then the Doc headed for the lift himself. Next, it was her turn to saunter up to the bar and call the portly man over with a flash of credits.
"Hey, so..." She flashed him a coy smile. "...that guy that just talked to you. Any chance I could get his room number? I'm supposed to meet him here for, uh... Well, I don't really have to spell it out, do I?" The smile grew and her eyes shifted down as though she was ashamed. Unfortunately, this didn't jive with the story Ronin had told the man, and he grew instantly suspicious.
"Listen, lady. I don't know what the kriff you're talking about. I talk to hundreds of..."
Kriff it. I don't have time for this shit. The man cut off as she reached across the counter and grabbed him by the throat, her grip surprisingly strong as she pulled him closer until they were face to face, then she began to change. "What." Her eyes darkened and the irises began to turn red. "Is." Her lips parted and fangs began to grow from her teeth. "The." He felt the distinct prick of something sharp on his neck as her fingers began to lengthen into claws. "Room." She reached up with her other, now clawed, hand toward his face, and his eyes went wide as he spat out the number before she could finish her question.
As quickly as they had come, the monstrous features disappeared as she let him go, and she bounced back on her heels with a joyful smile. "See? Was that so hard?" A pat on the cheek made him cringe as she turned and left, and he brought a hand up to rub at his throat while he watched her go.
Even before she reached the elevator, she'd begun shifting her organs out of the way for what was to come, clearing a space in her abdomen of everything vital save nerves and blood vessels. She'd be needing both the pain and the blood. Once she was in the elevator, a single, six inch claw returned to her right hand and she plunged it into the newly blank space where her organs should have been, crying out as the pain hit her. Damn this part sucks. When the doors opened on the next floor, she got rid of the claw and stumbled forward until she ran into the first door she came across, which fortunately was the very one the bartender had given her the number for, and the same one the Doc was hopefully now inside of. She would have called it coincidence, but she knew that if K heard that she'd be treated to a lecture about probability and cause and effect, and she really wasn't in the mood. She had just been stabbed, after all...
She hit the door with a thud, knowing that the very real pain she was feeling would mask her mental training from any cursory psychic evaluations, and pounded a fist against the wooden surface, taking in heavy breaths in order to muster up enough volume. "Help me!" The cry had every bit of the desperation and pain in it that someone in this situation would have been feeling, and she herself was feeling most of it regardless. If the Doc decided to open the door, she would collapse into the room, apparently lacking the strength to stand on her own without the door to prop her up as she held a hand over her wound.

I don't understand. Don's voice was confused, and Vee couldn't blame him. She was behaving like a total spaz. She breathed in, then shot a long exhale. Don stared at her still.
Fine. She stood up and rotated her neck nervously. Just say it. You'll both have a laugh over it. In my conversation with Drika, you and I being 'in a relationship' came up, and I clarified that we weren't in one.
Don had crossed his arms, still looking confused. He nodded for her to continue.
Vee shook her hands. She said that she thought we were because you're so much like Todon...and I realized she was right and that freaked me out because...well...She sighed. I realized that she's right.
There was complete silence before Don burst out laughing. The sudden noise made Vee jump. What's so funny? She glared at him for laughing at her.
I'm sorry...He held up his still-gaunleted hand while he dramatically made like he was trying to catch his breath around the laughter. Let me get this straight. He cleared his throat, over exaggerating the attempt to become serious. You're acting like a total space cadet because you suddenly think we have something going on...secretly...er...subconsciously?
Vee said nothing, still glaring as she folded her arms and popped her right hip out. Don couldn't keep the straight face, it broke into a dazzling smile. Don't get me wrong...I'm flattered your subconscious is in love with me...
Vee rolled her eyes as she fought Don's contagious humor. She lost, running a hand over her face in attempt to cover up her own laughter. Don mockingly frowned. Why, alor'ad...I'm highly offended you find this a joking matter. He comedically lifted a finger with a stern expression. I'll have you know women are throwing themselves at me!
Ok ok! I get it! She tried to toss him an irritated expression, but failed miserably. Don gave up the charade, his face beaming once more.
Feel better now?
Vee snorted as she sat on the bed, tucking one booted foot under her. Yeah...I guess it is pretty ridiculous.
Don chuckled, sitting in front of her. He rubbed her knee gently so not to hurt her with the gauntlets. Nah...just pretty fucking hilarious. I don't think I have to go out for entertainment tonight. I have a lifetime's worth as long as we're together. I can bring this up whenever I want. 'Hey Red, remember that time you thought you were in love with me?' He laughed again.
Against her will she did too, grabbing a pillow and launching it at him. He easy darted to the side with his goofy, charming grin.
It's not that funny...Vee muttered under her breath.
Oh, it definitely is! I'm never letting you live this down Red. Don was grinning from ear to ear. Vee couldn't help but do the same when she looked at him. His eyes burned brightly with mirth. As Vee's own amusement dissipated, she sighed, throwing herself back on the bed. Don oblidged to lay beside her, propped up on an elbow toward her.
What's wrong with me? She rubbed her forehead.
Aw Red...nothing. Sven just rocked your world really good the other night and you're overthinking everything. Throw in a couple Sith and anyone would be freaking out. He gently removed a strand of hair from across her face. She turned her head towards him.
Yeah...but I'm supposed to be stronger.
Don chuckled again, shaking his head. H'rel, no one is thinking you're weak, trust me. He grabbed her hand and used it to pull her up as he sat up. Iron out things with Sven...you'll feel better, 'lek?
Vee smiled fondly at her co-pilot. I'm already feeling better...thanks Don.
He rubbed her knee again. Don't mention it. Let me buy you a drink.
She stood, shaking her head as she made her way to the door. Alright.
Don smirked as he stood and followed her. Unless that's too weird of course.
Don...
You know, you could try kissing me, just to really really make sure you aren't in love with me...
Don!
Don's contagious laughter followed her out the door...
...where they immediately stopped in shock at the sight of a woman leaning weakly against the doorframe, looking as if she had been injured. Don cursed under his breath.
Vee, go get security!

Red fled back downstairs to the main club area while I neared the woman. She looked like she was in bad shape. "M'am? Are you ok, can I help you?"
My eyes dart around, looking for danger or if this was a set up. I remained roughly three feet away from her. Yes, I'm pretty paranoid. Old habit. Something seemed...off. And it shouldn't. Besides, whoever did this to her could still be around. I pulled out my blaster for good measure, wishing I had my helmet on that could give me information about the woman's condition. But I didn't want to leave her now.

Shit. Surprise flickered through her mind when she heard the man's voice addressing her, and every scenario and option she'd prepared in her head became instantly obsolete. She looked to him with pain etched on her face, then took a step back from the door and weakly raised a hand to point down the hall behind him, where a blue-skinned Sakiyan had just disappeared through the stairwell access door. The man was innocent, of course, but the finger had been more of a direction to him than an indication to Don. The threat to the target had passed, and therefore backup was no longer necessary despite the appearance of injury. Thankfully, he understood immediatelyand took the hint. Like he always does. The bastard. It seemed clear that the Doc wasn't going to answer the door, so she kept moving until her back was against the wall opposite, then sunk to the floor. From there, she didn't appear to do much else besides sit and focus on trying to breath and stay awake. Under the skin, however, she was subtly re-forming the "blank" tissue beneath her wound to resemble the organs that should have been there in a human, just in case someone decided to try and check things out before she could make a clean break.
Meanwhile in the stairwell, Krios kept moving, skipping the entire last section of stairs on his way to the alley outside. Once there it was merely a matter of finding the right hand holds, a task that was the work of an instant for his hyper-intelligent mind, and scaling the building opposite. From there he sprinted across a cable to the other side of the street, making sure to activate his stealth generator to ward off prying eyes, and found himself a perch to await the imminent departure that the laws of probability dictated would occur.

Vee flew down to the club, approaching the first security she saw. A woman's been stabbed upstairs. Her voice was quiet to keep from panicking anyone. She needs medical attention... now. The creature - whatever species it was - quickly commed someone before turning back to Vee. Medical is on it's way, take me to her. Vee led him (or her) to where she left the woman and Don. Her co-pilot seemed wary, even his gun was pulled, but he was trying to talk to the woman and keep her safe. Medical arrived almost immediately after. They bent down over the woman, trying to help her while Don backed off.She pointed down the hall. Don pointed to his left. I'm guessing that's the direction her attacker went. Security questioned them for a few minutes before letting them go. Let's get out of here. Don seemed uncomfortable. Yeah...let's go get a drink. Don shook his head. I meant, let's find somewhere else to stay. So they did. After quickly grabbing their belongings, Don took them to the upper levels.Continued here.

Ronin cursed to himself as the sounds of Vee and Don quickly packing and leaving sounded from their room. That damn screaming woman couldn't have gotten hurt somewhere else could she; just his luck. Hurriedly Ronin packed what he had begun building in his bag and left. He caught sight of Vee climbing into a taxi which lifted off shortly after taking them to the higher levels. Maybe fortune had smiled on Ronin, there in the light he could hide the best among politicians, lawyers, doctors, the elite. With a smirk he hailed the next taxi making sure he wasn't spotted by Vee
"Whatever your rate is I'll double it if you can take me wherever that taxi is going without being seen."
Ronin true to his word handed the driver several credits. Once again fortune had smiled upon Ronin. Years earlier the taxi drivers of the area were locked in a nasty turf war. Now they were unified in a loose version of a union so all drivers had connections with other drivers so finding out where that taxi was going was a simple matter of punching in some numbers, and waiting a few minutes to take off. This would give Vee and Don time to set up shop, and Ronin the ability to stalk prey that was no longer on the move. It was around the time Vee and Don exited their cab and made their way into the fancy hotel did their driver reply with information and a demand for a small cut.
Ronin's cab lurched forward as it took off.

Krios was on the verge of moving off after his quarry when a small detail in the corner of his perception snagged his attention. He turned back to the cantina exit as he pulled the bow from his back and it began to unfold, watching as the doctor slipped into the next cab to arrive. Now now, that won't do at all, good doctor. With seamless ease, he raised the bow and nocked an arrow, drawing it back with all the apparent effort of a grown man lifting a small child. Even for another Sakiyan, the draw would have been enormous, but Krios was no ordinary Sakiyan. Calculations swept through his head for a mere fraction of a second as he centered his aim, and no more than a moment after he drew the arrow was released.
It hurled itself toward its target with the impetus of a missile, aided by its neuranium core as it drove easily through the metal of the speeder's engine cover, piercing the vital components and rendering the vehicle permanently stationary. The cloaking field that surrounded him would shimmer as he released the string and sent the arrow on its way, but would be restored before the arrow struck its target. He had orders to remain under the radar, and none to eliminate the doctor, so he had opted instead to simply immobilize him for the time being. With that done, he stepped back from the ledge and returned the bow to its place on his back. If there was one thing he knew about planets like coruscant, it was that somewhere, somehow, there was a camera that saw everything. All he had to do now was find the ones that knew where his prey had gone.

The cab lurched again, t Something was wrong. Ronin felt the cab begin to fall as the driver tried to aim it to safety. The rushed by as the cab ran into a large pull cart of cabbages. The sound of a woman screaming climbed through the sound of metal screeching. Ronin's first thought was they had run over a woman. Quickly exiting he beheld a old man still screaming like a little girl as he held onto a damaged cabbage as if it were an infant
Cabbage Salesman "Oh god not my cabbages!!"
Ronin nearly face palmed. Instead he tossed the man a few credits to cover the damages. He had to move quickly, the damage to the cab was easy enough to spot
"For the love of Kulu, who the kriff shoot arrows these days?!"
Throwing his hands into the air he swept his gave to the general area it would have come from;nothing. So who was after him? Competition maybe? The shooter could have hit the driver, or shot at himself. Instead they shot at the engine block in order to disable the ship. Had the shooter known he was a force user and may have detected the attack had it been on himself or the driver? Ronin pulled his comm link out and made a call
I need Secretary Chambers, yes I'll wait.
The familiar dial tone sounded as he had relived this moment a million time in his prior life as a Chancellor of the Republic; his old office wasn't far off. Reliving memories had to wait as the withered old voice come on the other line
Secretary Chambers Hello Ronin, I'd say it's a pleasure to talk to you, but normally when you call it means more work for me, a late night of paper work, and a pissed off wife waiting for me with a cold meal. So let's just get to business
Ronin smirked to himself as he recalled the last time they had talked. Clearing his throat he began speaking punching in information encrypted for the Secretary to read
Yes well let's hope this one goes better and you don't lose your wedding ring in a bantha. Now I'm sending you my coordinates along with the Intel I have. I'm tailing...well I was tailing a couple with a bounty on their heads. I need to call in a favor, let's say this one if for that time we were on Kashyyyk for your bachelor party. You know the one where you got wasted and felt up that wookiee chick only for her husband to walk in on you...who saved your ass there and didn't tell your now wife?!
The clear groan of a unwanted memory sounded over the line to Ronin's pleasure. The old friend hadn't forgotten
Secretary Chambers Fine whatever you want short of a planet or anything that'll lead to a war. Just please never bring that up again, can't own a long haired dog without thinking that wookiee.
The channel closed as orders were received. Now Ronin waited for the calvary to arrive to pick him up

"An unsecured line, Doctor? Tsk, tsk. You should know better." With his data feeds already tapped into Coruscant's global network, locating and hijacking the unsecured comm line was the work of merely a moment for the Sakiyan. The encrypted data packet, however, was another matter entirely. Calling up the holographic display on his gauntlet, and being sure to keep the shimmering of his cloak as it attempted to compensate out of sight from the street below, Krios patched back into the system on his ship and downloaded the packet onto a dummy system there, after flagging it as potentially hostile. Once that was done, the system disconnected from his network, sealing itself off from any form of non-hardline communication with other systems. Following that, it would freeze itself, shutting down and disconnecting power until Krios could return to work on the packet at his leisure. The comm call had revealed enough that he could surmise what was about to occur without the data hidden behind that encryption. Tapping the secure comm unit in his ear, he proceeded with his hack into the taxi service that had provided the car his quarry had left in.
G, what is your current status?
Free and clear. Ready to proceed once you have the target location.
One moment.
Once he was in their system, locating the address where the cab had dropped off its fare was child's play, and from there he knew which cameras to talk to and records to hack.
High end hotel in Galactic City called the UltraLux. One moment... He really liked his moments. Deluxe suite on the VIP level.
Got it. On my way.
Now... what to do about the doctor.

Kriff it, normally Ronin recieved a comfirmation his orders were received, but there was no call. It was as if someone had redirected his msg, and locked it away. Someone had to be tailing him; it was the only explanation. Luckily for him his friend would wonder why he hadn't sent orders as he normally did. He'd dispatch men to the location of last transmission which was right where Ronin was at. Over the sounds of the old man complaining still about his cabbages and the driver yelling into his comm link about how someone had shot an arrow into his cab, Ronin could hear the laughter on the other end. Still it didn't take long for several speeders to pull up unloading several large men, the cab union enforcers. Someone had just destroyed their property, someone was going to pay.
Stepping away to the outer edged of the commotion he ensured a wall to his back.Who ever was tailing him had to be near.

Krios watched impassively as the thugs arrived, confident they would be unable to spot him on his perch. He had already located their target, and Greymalkin was now covering that aspect of the operation until their backup arrived. All he had to do was ensure that the doctor failed in his attempts to take their prize, so he was perfectly content to simply stand and wait for as long as the doctor wanted. Nevertheless, he kept his bow close at hand and ready for use, as the laws of probability dictated he would not remain idle indefinitely.
