Terra waited for Nik to return, casting her gaze around the club and the various patrons. Thankfully, none seemed interested in her, or at least not interested in coming over to give her any kind of trouble. Maybe it was the glass of wine talking, but now she didn't feel as anxious about being here. Perhaps tonight would be fun after all.
She smiled at Nik as he reappeared, setting the two glass down in front of her, and she reached over and took one."I guess..."Well...here went nothing. Terra raised the glass and started to drink. Unsure of the effects of rapidly consuming an alcoholic beverage, she drank slowly, but after a few minutes, she had finished off both of the glasses that Nik had brought her.
She giggled as she set the second glass down. Maybe it was the alcohol, but she felt...giggly all of a sudden."OK...are dancing now?"She giggled some more and waited for his answer, though she could probably guess...

Nik laughed, a deep musical laugh that many considered to be contagious. "Yes, after we fix this," he pointed at her hair, thick honey-coloured tresses tied back in a very business-like ponytail. "Allow me?" The Zeltron leaned closer and unfastened the band wrapped around her hair, pulling it out so that her hair fell loose around her face. "Shake it out," he suggested, pulling his hand away after only a second's pause, though it hadn't stopped him from noticing that it was very soft.
"Now you look like you can have fun," He ran his hands quickly through his hair, disheveling his own auburn hair as he smiled at her. He stood up, and held out his hands to assist her to her feet if she so desired.

Terra giggled as her hair came loose and she shook it a few times, which caused her to giggle even more. So this was what it was like to let one's hair down, and maybe it was the three glass of that berry wine, but she really didn't mind at all. The day's events were rapidly being pushed to the background as she found herself looking forward to finally letting off a little steam on the dance floor.
Still giggling, she reached over and took Nik's hand, allowing him to lead her to the dance floor."Let's go then!"

He clasped her hand for just a second, then led her back out into the crowd, threading a way through the milling mass of people till they arrived on the dance floor proper. Then, raising their clasped hands, with his other hand he guided her into a twirl in front of him, then dropped her hand and began dancing. Weaving around the edges of the crowd he materialized at her side, shimmying to either direction in turn before his tossing his head and looking over at her across his shoulder with a wink.
Spinning away, a few second later he was close behind her, whispering in her ear, "Stop thinking, just feel...let the music tell you how to move--" crossing to the other side, "Terra Kiros."

Terra allowed Nik to lead her onto the dance floor, the noise hitting her once more but this time she didn't seem to mind it as much. Nik seemed to be very much enjoying himself, and she watched him for a minute, until suddenly he was standing behind her, telling her not to think. If they weren't on a dance floor, it might have sounded like he was giving her advice on lightsaber combat...the thought made her giggle yet again.
Taking his advice, she took a deep breath and let the music take her, focusing on the rhythm of the music as it pulsed through the room. She began to move to the beat, following Nik's lead.

He passingly danced a few beats with a random, scantily-clad Twi'Lek female, snapping his fingers as he did so before twisting away and sliding back towards Terra. She looked good, dancing like that, though the traditional Jedi outfit didn't exactly show off one's figure to advantage. He had a fleeting vision of doing something about that, but shrugged it off. Leaping lightly into the air and manipulating the Force around him, pivoted around an invisible pole and contorted himself in a slide down it, catching himself agilely on one foot and sliding a hand around Terra's slim waist, pulling her close for a second, "Enjoying, yourself?" He arched an eyebrow, "Anything you want to see?" Zeltrons had a definite reputation of being good dancers, and depending upon one's personal preferences were sometimes in even more demand than the famous Twi'Leks. And though he was a Jedi, Nik was fully experienced in other arenas as well. He did not think that being a Jedi demanded that one forgo all pleasure as if they were in a cloister of monks that found fulfillment in asceticism. As long as people were happy, life was good. Nik enjoyed making people happy, and he was generally considered good at so doing.

Terra giggled loudly as Nik took her around her waist, pulling her close and for the first time, she was getting an up close look at the Zeltron's face. Again, it might have been the wine talking, but he looked quite handsome, and she found herself staring at him for just a moment before he asked her if she was enjoying herself. Snapping back to reality, she giggled and blushed, but didn't take her eyes off of him, nodding at his question."This is fun!"He also asked if there was anything else she wanted to see, but this was fine for now. Maybe they could find something else to do after the dance."Let's keep dancing!"

Nik smiled. Her choice didn't bother him any, though after a few more upbeat songs, he ducked through the crowd and spoke to the band leader for a moment. A few credit chips later, he was back in Terra's vicinity as the music changed into a slower song, 'Goodnight, but not Goodbye.' He frowned as a somewhat nefarious gambler appeared to be ogling Terra. The Zeltron wasn't sure if she'd notice, but regardless he was already moving. A glare combined with an expertly thrown out elbow was enough to deter the fellow, and he managed to make it look like an effortless dance move as he paused momentarily in front of Terra.
Hesitating only a second, he took her hands in his and placed them on his shoulders before gently, but firmly putting his hands on her waist and pulling her closer into an offset ballroom position. "Look at me, and you won't get dizzy," he quietly told her as he guided the two of them into a weaving, spinning dance that progressed counter-clockwise around the edge of the floor. "Rather, the room won't make you dizzy," his words accompanied by a sly wink as the Zeltron faintly leaned slightly closer, holding her so she wouldn't fall in her slightly intoxicated state.

Terra did not actually notice that Nik had shooed away some ogler just now, probably a side effect of being a little buzzed from the wine. That, and she had been quite focused on dancing anyway, and thus didn't really notice too much of what was going on around her. That was against all of what she had been trained to do but every now and then one had to let their guard down. It'd probably be just fine.
The music changed, and now Nik was holding her close to him as they spun around the room. Terra took his advice and kept her gaze on him, not exactly a difficult task as he was quite good looking. She found herself giggling as he held her close."I like looking at you..."That had probably sounded stupid, but then, it was mostly the wine talking...

"You're welcome to look. Terra Kiros." He replied quietly, guiding them around another couple. He could feel the muscles ripple along her spine as they turned together, and he pulled her just that much closer, dropping one hand to reach up and brush her hair back from her face. Green eyes gazed deeply into her own warm eyes for just two seconds. He was close enough to kiss her easily, and for just a moment he considered it. But, he didn't, aware that she probably couldn't help herself at the moment due to wine and his own biological advantages. More importantly though, that one look had told her that he could have done so. Perhaps that would change at some point in the future, but for now, he appreciated the moment and the way she felt in his arms.

Terra giggled again when Nik told her she was welcome to look, and she would certainly keep doing that for as long as he allowed her to. Their eyes met and she felt like she was being mesmerized as they gazed at each other. She could feel her heart rate increasing as she held his gaze, the seconds ticking by...
From behind where Terra and Nik were dancing, a human male and a green skinned Twi'lek male approached, both of them with their eyes on the girl. The human was almost six feet tall and well built, and had drank just enough to be quite confident in his ability to pick up the girls. And he had been eying this one since she had walked into the club with the Zeltron male. As for his buddy, well everyone needed a wingman...
Josef reached out, grabbing Terra's shoulder and pulling her away from Nik, causing the girl to stumble as her dance was rudely interrupted. With a grin, he pulled her to him."Hey there, care to dance?"As he spoke, his Twi'lek companion stepped forwards as well, as if to warn Nik away from intervening in this.
Terra squeaked when she felt his hand on her shoulder, and she had nearly fallen over after being suddenly wrenched out of Nik's grasp. As she tried to regain her balance, she felt herself being pulled against someone. Looking up, she saw it was a human male, much taller than her. Obviously he wanted her to dance with him, but even with the wine in her system, Terra could tell that he was looking for more than just a dance.
With all the strength she could muster, she tried to pull herself away from him, only for him to tighten his grip."Aw, don't be like that!" Just one little dance?"
Terra grimaced as he gripped her shoulder, and she slapped his wrist as hard as he could, and it loosened just enough for her to slip away. She glared up at him."Get away from me!"

Nik was beginning to wonder just how this dance might turn out when it was rudely interrupted. The level of intent shifted in this level of the Outlander as the human and Twi'Lek closed rapidly, "Don't worr---" was the only warning the Zeltron had a chance to call out before the human grabbed her and spun her against him. Nik's lip curled in disgust. He did not wish to fight with a lightsaber, or his blaster even, as that would attract attention and have future consequences that he did not particularly wish to get into.
He flexed his fingers, resisting the urge to curl them into fists and lash out. The Twi'Lek could be easily incapacitated although it was a move that was so...crass, that it was distasteful to contemplate. This left one option, there was a recognized, unspoken rule that pervaded almost all of the cantinas, nightclubs, and tapcafes across the universe: once a companion has been chosen and she/he has made their preference known, interference is the height of rudeness. The Zeltron thought perhaps Terra would not be too angry if he invoked the right of possession temporarily.
As she slapped him, the Zeltron spun between Josef and the girl with the lithe agility of a trained dancer, grasping her arm firmly he spun her into him, then hissed over at the two troublemakers, "Mine." At the surprised look he received, he mentally reached out toward Terra, apologizing in advance, even as he pulled her against him and kissed her, warmly, a bit more so than he had initially intended.
With a wink at her, he looked back up, steely fire flashing in his emerald eyes, "It would be in your best interests to find someone else...there are one or two things that even a Zeltron will fight for," something, perhaps the fact that even as he had his left arm wrapped around Terra, his right hovered just over the hilt of his blaster, was enough to show that if he was forced into a fight, he would fight, and he would not follow the rules.

Terra wasn't sure how Nik would react to her being so suddenly pulled away like that, but kissing was not one of those things. Her eyes widened for a moment before closing and returning it. When he pulled away, she gasped for breath, watching the two troublemakers for their reactions, and suffice to say, they didn't seem pleased at all. Of course, with the combination of all that had just happened, Terra wasn't feeling very coherent now, and she found herself leaning heavily against Nik for support.
Josef was less than pleased at the actions of the Zeltron, and he cracked his knuckles in preparation for the beatdown. His buddy brushed his jacket aside, revealing his own blaster, and Josef gave a rather smug smile at his sudden rival."Ditch the blaster, Pink. Let's settle this the old fashioned way."Unbeknownst to either Nik or Terra, Josef was actually an accomplished hand-to-hand fighter, having won quite a few street brawls in in his time. If Nik challenged him with his fists, he would most certainly regret it.
As for the green skinned Twi'lek, he stood back a little, one hand on his blaster, just in case it came to that.

Maybe he'd kissed her a bit too intently he reflected as he felt Terra slump against him. Not that he minded in the least, but if these two wanted a fight, it could be inconvenient. "I really wouldn't advise that, but if you are determined to make this an issue, we'd better go outside." He wasn't about to involve innocent people, neither was he going to allow the other fellow to taunt him into an unarmed fight. He could probably give a fair account of himself, but it was just a messy way to do things.
He was aware of the Twi'Lek, and seeing another potential way out of this, even though he didn't like it one bit, he reached out in the Force and settled a firm, invisible grasp upon the alien's extremely sensitive Lekku, "I don't want to take this further, but I will if I have to, you should probably ask your green-skinned friend over there how he's feeling," he informed the human male, even as he imperceptibly tightened his Force grip on the other. If it came right down to it, he could leave the Twi'Lek in agonies on the floor in less time than it would take him to tighten his finger on the trigger of his blaster.
Personally, he hoped this would sort itself out soon, because it was threatening to ruin his mood, and things had been going so well up to now. He didn't want Terra to think that getting jumped by a couple of buffoons was what Niklas Arreni considered an important part of a relaxing night out.

Josef looked over as his wingman suddenly convulsed and collapsed to the floor, and it dawned on him that the Zeltron might be a Jedi or something. Well that was just his luck. His options were to either walk away and take a massive blow to his pride or fight him anyway and probably get beat. Neither option seemed appealing but it just wasn't in his blood to run away. As his friend passed out, Josef glared at the Zeltron."I'm gonna beat you within an inch of your life for that!"
Terra saw the Twi'lek go down, and she sighed in relief. At least no one would be shooting up the place, but that still left the man who had grabbed her in the first place. He looked strong, but the way she was speaking to Nik irked her. It was probably the wine or the fact that Nik had just kissed her quite passionately, but when Josef had threatened him, she suddenly felt like she should do something.
Before Nik could react, Terra stepped forwards and kicked Josef as hard as she could."Don't you dare!"
The last thing Josef expected was for Terra to intervene, especially since she looked about to pass out a moment ago, but it was too late for him to do anything as her foot made contact with a rather sensitive area, and he collapsed to the ground in agony.

Nik arched an eyebrow sceptically. He didn't think so. But, he was growing annoyed at the interruption of his evening with Terra. Very annoyed. In the past few minutes he had been getting more annoyed, well, since he'd kissed Terra anyway. So, as far as he was concerned the sooner this was dealt with, the better.
When he glanced over at the fallen Twi'Lek feeling a sympathetic twinge, despite the fact that the alien had asked for it, Terra used the opportunity to make her presence known in a far more forceful manner than he had expected from her. "Very nice," he congratulated her, more drawn to her now than before. Stepping over to her he gently took her arm, and pulled her away. "Let's get out of here," right now they could melt into the crowd and make an unobtrusive get-away before discovering whether this oddly-matched pair had any burlier friends within call.
"A fight isn't on the agenda tonight," he smiled at her, quickly assessing her condition to see if she was injured. That would be a difficult one to explain to her Master in the morning. A quiet walk back down the street towards the bus they'd caught earlier would be a literal and metaphorical breath of fresh air.

Terra was actually a little stunned at herself for acting in such a matter, but even if she wasn't a little drunk, she wasn't the type to sit by and let someone be threatened. Especially when she herself had been propositioned by the offender in the same motion. In any case, she eagerly followed Nik out of the club, hopefully before they either got jumped by reinforcements from Josef's friends or the club's bouncers.
She held onto Nik's arm as they walked down the streets."I hope we don't get in trouble for that..."

"Sometimes Terra, a bit of trouble is worth it," he turned to look at her, placing his free hand over hers on his arm for a moment. They were walking in the general direction that would take them back towards the Temple, and as they rounded a corner the Temple itself was outlined against the night sky. It was a view that he never failed to enjoy, and he thought that perhaps Terra would like it. She seemed like the kind of person that would enjoy pursuits a bit more mild in nature overall, particularly as soon she'd be coming down off the alcohol and adrenaline-influenced high that she'd experienced in the Outlander.
He stopped near the facade of buildings bordering the street they were walking down. Streetlights cast an occasional pool of illumination, and one of them was making sparkles dance in Terra's blue eyes. Looking at her, he gently ran his fingers down the left side of her face to her chin, and gently tilted her lips up to meet his, tentatively at first, in case she decided she did not wish this.

Terra giggled a little, figuring it would be no big deal. She sighed happily as they walked down the street, and when they stopped, she leaned against him as they took in the view of the distant Temple. It was quite a sight, and she was glad that she could enjoy it with Nik. Turning to face him, she felt her heartbeat quickening again as his fingers ran down her face, and suddenly, he was kissing her again. This time, Terra responded right away, eagerly kissing him back.
After a few seconds, she pulled away, giggling and blushing."So...um..."

He shushed her gently, figuring that if she actually didn't like it, she would not have responded as she did. And also, there were times and places for talking, neither one of them was right now. The Zeltron pulled her closer, left hand sliding to her back and right gently wrapped around her shoulders as he kissed her again, taking his time, enjoying the closeness and moment of physical intimacy. Though, he pulled away a few seconds later, opening his eyes to look at her, as he pulled her arm through his again. "No regrets, Terra Kiros. I promised I wouldn't do anything you didn't want, I've kept that promise, but it's time to get you home."
Nik covered her hand on his arm with his, applying a gentle, warm pressure to her fingers before strolling back in the direction of the bus. There was no sense rushing things, and though she might think she knew what she wanted at this point...well, just because he was a Zeltron didn't mean he would take that much of an advantage. He knew she'd regret it later, and resent him for doing so, and herself for...well, for enjoying it. Besides, it seemed that she would be on Coruscant for awhile. So there was plenty of time.
