Fiora held on tightly to Jin's hand as the older girl led the way out of the rundown building. She had no idea where they were and so didn't really know where they should be going. She followed along as fast as her legs could carry her, but she was not fast enough and felt herself being dragged along as they came out onto one of the main streets. Despite being worried about being identified for who she was here, she felt safer about being on the main street than being down the back alleyways. No one would try abduct them without causing a scene. And at this point, she wasn't that concerned about that scene leading to anyone knowing her identity.
But as soon as they were out on the main street, Jin was all but dragging her off down the street. While her friend might not have wanted her worrying about them potentially being lost, Fiora couldn't help but worry about her condition. Her clothing was ripped, her face was bloodied, and she was clearly having issues maintaining balance. Something that all came into play a few moments later when Jin stumbled to the ground. Fiora had already been slightly off balance from Jin pulling her along faster than she could move herself, so she had little recourse but to go tumbling down atop Jin. Her hood thankfully remained in place as she clambered back to her own feet. But quickly enough she found herself dragged to the ground once more as she heard the distinctive sound of a lightsaber activating and then deactivating.
Fiora lifted her attention up from the ground to the black clad figure that stood over herself and Jin. As she slowly focused on the helmet and outfit, the distorted female voice addressed her by her title. There were few figures as distinct within the First Order as that of the Knights of Ren. And Fiora quickly recalled who the helmeted visage staring down at her belonged to N-Neith... Fiora paused for but a moment, before grabbing a hold of Jin and trying to haul her friend up onto her feet. Fiora made sure her hood was still in place while still keeping her attention turned up toward the Knight of Ren P-Please Lady Ren, I need you to take me and my friend back to the Palace... She shifted her focus back to Jin then Jin... Jin, are you ok?

Jin had only enough time to look up at a dark and imposing figure above them. She had only heard horrific stories concerning the Knights of Ren. Stories of them and their ruthlessness and prowess on the battlefield. Seeing the lightsaber ignite, sent Jin's fight or flight instincts once again into overdrive. And with it being Jin, she reached for the holdout pistol she had recovered from the thugs. Put she didn't make for an imposing figure. One hand and her knees supporting her still unbalanced body, all while trying to aim at one of two Knights of Ren. But then she felt the hands of Fiora helping her to her feet. It was a task as Jin realized she was concussed. Letting the blaster fall back to her side, Jin felt the world continuing to spin and her stomach felt like it would turn at any moment. But she had got them so far, she couldn't break now. I- I've had better walks to the bus... Her focus shifted back to the Knight, suspicion on her face. She whispered, or at least thought she was, to Fiora. Do you know her? She gives me the creeps.

Neith tilted her head to the side and raised an eyebrow as she looked down upon the hunched black and purple haired girl. Whoever this friend of the Princess was, she certainly seemed scrappy and most certainly not one of her official bodyguards. The holdout pistol looked far too worn and cheap to have come from the Palace or any other figure of importance.
Her focus shifted back to the Princess then, almost a little surprised that Fiora had remembered her name. The Princesses next request, however, made her a lot more suspicious of just what exactly had happened that led her to being here in the Coruscanti Underworld. There were answers to her questions that she would undoubtedly not like. But they were questions which she could ask later. There were far more pressing concerns right now. Specifically the fact that the Princess of the First Order was currently on the side of a major street in the Underworld of Coruscant while more and more people were starting to fill the streets.
She let out a distorted sigh before unclipping the clasps that held her cape on. With one hand she clipped her saber hilt back onto her belt while the other hand gripped her cloak and pulled it from her shoulders and handed it to Fiora Wrap this around your friend, and keep your hood up. We don't need to attract any more attention... She turned around then and took a couple steps forward as she turned to look back at the two girls Follow me, The Carrus is nearby...

Panic almost seized Fiora when Jin had pulled the holdout blaster on Neith, but thankfully the Knight of Ren had not reacted badly to it. Allowing her to let out a sigh of relief as she managed to help Jin to her feet. Fiora offered as reassuring a smile as she could muster despite the mess that covered her face I'm glad you're alright... And I know she seems a little weird, but I trust her... She was friends and trained with my mother... Fiora looked up to Neith and grabbed the cape as it was handed to her. With some difficulty and effort, she managed to wrap it around Jin, covering up her torn clothing and using some excess material to drape over her friends head, obscuring Jin's face in shadow. She hugged tightly to Jin's side, fairly certain her friend could not stand alone Don't try push me away, you need my help... She tried to sound as brave as possible. Even if it didn't seem like something a Princess should do, Fiora was intent on helping Jin get to the ship. She'd gone out of her way and taken great risks for Fiora, and this seemed like the least she could do to help repay that

Jin didn't fight any of it, for once it was all drained from her. She ached, stumbled, and constantly felt like throwing up. And if Fiora trusted this black clad stranger, than it would have to be good enough. The girl had never killed anyone before, and it was slowly starting to dawn on her. Though the man was a predator, she could still feel a weight that was on her that wasn't before. Jin allowed herself to be lead by Fiora after the Ren. It was a slow trek, as Jin continued to be unsure of her footing. At one point she lifted a hand to her nose and touched it, ever so gently. Ah! she exclaimed, ooooh, yep, that's broken. And, being only human, she did the foolish thing and did it again. Mmmmmhm. Yep. Wall: 1, My Face: 0.

For the most part, Neith kept her focus forward, leading the two girls through the streets of the district back to the TIE Freighter she had been operating out of recently. The Carrus had been outfitted with a special cargo container outfitted with several cabins. While it had drastically cut down the carrying capacity, Neith was after functionality and practicality. The lower half served as a garage for a half dozen speeder bikes, while the upper half was all living quarters. The cabins would serve as a perfect place to keep Fiora and her friend out of view until they got back to the Palace.
Until then, she kept her attention out for any gaze that lingered too long or that looked like they were prone to kidnap two young girls. Thankfully, for the most part, her presence dissuaded anyone from doing something reckless. She turned her head back slightly as she heard the all too familiar pained exclamation of someone reviewing their injuries If you keep poking at it, you'll make it worse... She sighed and shook her head before returning her focus forward once more, leading the pair around a corner to a landing area that was dominated by the TIE Freighter known as The Carrus

Despite the rather leisurely pace of the trip, Fiora was ok with it. They'd spent so much time running from fear, that the slowed pace of the walk brought her some confidence that they were safe now. They'd be even safer once they got back to the Palace. But Fiora was pulled by such thoughts as Jin started poking at her nose. Fiora grabbed Jin's hand then, pulling it away from her friend's face so she'd stop hurting herself Then stop touching it if it's broken, silly! She huffed then, pulling Jin a little tighter against her side Don't make light of it! You could have been hurt, if not worse... And... It would have been all my fault... All because I wanted to get out of the palace... Fiora frowned then, averting her gaze from Jin. It had seemed so innocent and simple last night. But in the growing light of the morning, it was all so childish I-I'm... I'm sorry Jin... f-for everything...

Jin rolled her eyes at the nagging from the Ren ahead of her. Huh, that hurt too. But she did look down to Fiora and offer a smile just before the princess apologized. When she heard the apology, her expression dropped to one that was deadly serious. She stopped them both and turned Fiora to look at her as she knelt down to her level. A hand on each of the child's shoulders Jin met Fiora's eyes (as best she could with her head throbbing). Hey. Hey, look at me. All of this was my choice. I didn't have to cover for you when you ran from the Stormies, I didn't have to take you to my place, I didn't have to try and fight those thugs single handed. But that's what we do down here. We look out for each other. And so what, if you didn't turn out to be a down-on-their-luck street urchine sticking it to the bucket heads? You still helped get them off our case and you're more than just a title. You're Fiora Delvardus, and you can be whatever you want to be.

Fiora came to a stop and felt herself turned almost entirely against her will to face Jin. Despite the courage and confidence she had exhibited moments earlier, tears had already begun to roll down her pale cheeks. Everything was still so fresh and crashing over her the moment she even let her thoughts wander. She sniffled and sobbed as she stood there, trying to meet Jin's gaze with her now very red eyes. Even though her friend stated firmly that the decisions she'd made were her own choice, Fiora could not help but feel bad about the situations she'd forced Jin into. She threw her arms around Jin and buried her face into her friends shoulder once more. There was little in the way of words which she could use. She squeezed Jin tightly then as she shifted her face to the side so as not to be muffled by the cloak wrapped around her friend Th-thank you... I want to go home now...

Jin pulled away after a few moments and wiped Fiora's tears away. Yeah, well, thank me by not getting me thrown in prison for 'kidnapping' or whatever else they may want to stick to me. She stood back up and took Fiora's hand again. Jin hoped there was plenty of seating onboard the Carrus.

Fiora sniffled a little more as Jin wiped her tears away, her own hand reaching up to use her sleeve to help. She offered her other hand up then and gripped tightly to Jin's, or as tightly as possible given her comparative strength at this moment. She nodded her head I promise...

Neith had sensed the pair stopped and had stayed standing away from the pair. Enough to give them space to talk, but not enough that she would not be able to defend them if anything happened. When it appeared they were ready to go again, Neith walked over and motioned for the pair to follow Come on, this way... She headed off again and lead the way across the landing area to the back of The Carrus, ushering the two girls up the back ramp of the cargo pod. A pair of Purge Troopers were busy doing a check on one of the speeder bikes, but their focus did not waiver for a moment. Neith had trained them better than to divert their attention from the task at hand unless she ordered them to. A fact which would play well in the moment since she didn't want them overreacting to the Princesses presence.
Leading the way past the Troopers, she guided Fiora and Jin up a set of stairs which lead up to the second and then third levels. It was on this third level that Neith lead them down a short length of hallway and opened the door to her personal quarters. The door itself was far more heavily reinforced than what the others appeared to be. But the room within was fairly spartan in appearance. A bed was set into the far wall, with a desk and chair situated next to it. In one corner was situated a holoprojector which she primarily used to communicate with Emperor Delvardus and Harnan Ren. She stepped to the side and motioned for the two girls to enter Stay in here and do not come out... She focused her attention upon Jin then, a fact made obvious by the direction with which her visor was pointed There is a first aid kit in the desk, there should be some medicine in there to help with the pain... Please don't leave her side...

Yeah, that was the plan. Jin said in reply to Neith's request. Like she was going to leave Fiora after everything they had been through. The teen moved over to the desk and retrieved the med kit that had been mentioned. Opening it up, she grabbed the pain killers and took one. She also tried to clean up her bloody face, but kept bumping her nose causing her to wince. Oof. I really hope Imperial doctors are as good at fixing broken noses as Imperial troopers are at repressing people. Jin glanced at Fiora. The comment had slipped out and she was worried how the young girl would take it.

She had stuck close to Jin's side as they made the way into the freighter and up to Neith's quarters. It was until the door closed behind them, that she let go of Jin's hand. She moved over to the bed and sat down on it, unclasping the green traveling cloak and pulling it off as she did so. He look red hair fell down her back, no longer constrained by the hood she had been wearing. She still sniffled every now and again, trying to contain the remnants of her last outburst that were thankfully subsiding.
She sat staring at the floor for a few moments before lifting her gaze to Jin, as her friend made her comments. She was aware that not everyone quite agreed with the Stormtroopers and the methods her Father and his Empire used. But it didn't stop it hurting any less that Jin felt that way. Fiora silently slipped off the bed and made her way over to Jin, where she picked up a couple bacta patches from the kit and applied them to the more gruesome looking injuries I wish you didn't feel that way... but... I... I understand why you do... At least I think I do... She let out a sigh, being careful not to agitate any of Jin's injuries too much as she placed the last patch on. A thought about what would come next was slowly beginning to dawn on Fiora. That after they got back to the Palace and Jin was healed, that her friend would leave and she would never see her again. She had seen adults do this thing before, where even when they did not like the outcome, they still pretended to be ok with it. So she did her best to emulate it by forcing a smile T-the doctors will get you all fixed up... T-they're the best in the galaxy. After th-that... you, uh... I promise you'll be free to... free to... to go... Fiora looked down at the floor again, knowing that if she had to look at Jin again that she would start crying all over again. And at this point, she wasn't sure if she had the tears left to cry any further. But something deep down told her she still had some hidden reserves left

With Jin and Fiora securely stowed away in her cabin, Neith set about recalling the Purge Troopers back to The Carrus. She'd only brought a handful of squads with her, so it was no great disturbance as the black clad Troopers returned to the TIE Freighter and loaded their gear up. Neith made her way from the cargo container module into the ship proper, passing the crew quarters and making her way into the cockpit. A Purge Trooper Captain kitted out in special pilot gear sat at the controls. He turned immediately and gave her a salute Lady Ren!
Captain, get your crew up. We need to get to the Palace as once...
As you command My Lady... Neith made her way out of the cockpit and then down to the bottom floor of the cargo container, checking and double checking that everyone was back and the equipment was stored. None of her Troopers reported being followed or that anything seemed out of the ordinary. A fact she took some solace in. She still didn't know what had happened to the Princess and her friend. However, given the older girl's condition, it was not hard to take a guess that someone had been after them. And the sooner they put distance between themselves and this place, the safer the two girls would be

Jin fought the urges to wince at the Bacta bandages being applied, she wasn't looking make Fiora feel any guiltier than she already was. But it did seem her words had stung the girl. She reached and grabbed both of the girls hands. Hey now, you had nothing to do with what happened to my district. And whatever I may have thought about you when I would see you on the holos, it's gone. You've shown me that at least the future of the Empire will be in good hands. She paused thinking about how to approach the real concern of Fiora's though: Would they still be friends after this. She herself looked down while searching for words, then was reminded of the state of her cloths, if what was left of her shirt still even counted. This made her giggle a little as she felt safe enough now. Looking up at Fiora again. Well, I will have to go home sometime, let Uncle Ryath know we made it relatively okay. But I doubt I'll be given a key to the front doors of your house... and besides, this was my nicest shirt. She tugged at what was basically now a vest. I'll need to do some shopping if I'm ever allowed to come see you again.

She didn't know how to react as Jin grasped her hands, so she just stood there for a moment. Her friend's words were a small consolation that perhaps not everyone was as set in their ways as she feared. There were definitely many that viewed the Empire and the First Order as completely and totally evil no matter what happened. But at least knowing her new friend did not feel that way at least helped soften the blow. She offered a small but genuine smile this time Thank you Jin... Though technically my brother is next in line... Fiora caught herself then, stopping herself from boring Jin with all the technical specifics and details of how the line of succession went. Her attention, however, was quickly drawn to the ragged state of Jin's shirt - which now resembled an open front style. Her small smile remained as she tried to take solace in the answer Jin gave. She did suppose Jin would need to let her Uncle know what had happened Well, I'll... I'll make them give you a key... or uh... a pass... or what ever you need... As long as you promise to visit! As for your shirt, uhm... sorry it got so ruined. I'll make sure you can replace it... It's the least I can do for you, given everything you did for me... And for being my friend... She gently squeezed Jin's hands. Other than her twin brother, Fiora had no real friends that were of a similar or close age to her own. Jin was the first one, and she did not want to lose her

Jin pulled Fiora in for a big hug, she held it much longer than she had after the warehouse. I'm sure your dad will have no objections to giving a slummer a pass to the Palace. She whispered into Fiora's ear, half laughing. But if he does, you better bet I'm gonna come visit. I'm gonna need you to teach me some of your cool Force tricks. And I'm sure some of the walls up their could use some extra decoration. Jin broke away, smiling and forcing back tears, finally being able to process things and be thankful of surviving. Until this point her fears and goals had all been wrapped up with getting Fiora safe, and it seemed that had finally happened. A wave of exahustion washed over her. Between the broken nose and concussion, her body was begging to lay down. I think I'm going to rest, on that bed over there while we travel, okay?

Fiora warmly returned the hug that she was pulled into by Jin. She was none too eager to end it, and so held on desperately to her friend. She smiled and giggled in response to Jin's comment Of course he won't. I'll make sure he doesn't... But yeah... I'll teach you what little I know... As she pulled back from the hug at long last, she could see that much like herself, everything was catching up to Jin Rest is a good idea... You need it... Fiora then tugged at Jin, helping guide her over to the bed and returning the same kindness Jin had offered her several hours earlier. Although she was also experiencing a lack of sleep and exhaustion brought on by the rather traumatic experience they'd both been through, she didn't let it show. Although they were in one of the most secure places right now, Fiora couldn't feel comfortable unless one of them was awake keeping watch I'm... I'm not feeling sleepy just yet. I'll wake you when we get to the palace, I promise...

With the Purge Troopers loaded aboard and the speeder bikes stowed in the vehicle bay, Neith made her way back up to the upper floor. It was here that she came to a stop at the door into her chambers. She didn't knock or open the door, for risk of disturbing the two girls within. Instead, she reached out with the force and confirmed that they were both still inside. With that information confirmed, she headed back through into the ship itself and to the cockpit. The crew was already buzzing with activity as they wrapped up the last of the pre-flight checks.
The captain looked to Neith, before she gave a nod of her head in affirmation, at which point the TIE/fr Freighter lifted up off the ground and took off across the sky of the Coruscant Underworld. The crew navigated the ship along traffic ways that were reserved for military traffic. Allowing them to make haste across the district and out into one of the massive silo like structures that went from the more commonly know surface of Coruscant all the way down to the lowest level of the city planet.
A few moments passed in silence as The Carrus rose up through the air and out of the traffic through fare. Allowing the crew to make great haste through the skies toward the Imperial Palace. Neith stood resolute behind the Captain's chair, her gaze fixed outside of the viewport as she began to try anticipate what sort of greeting would meet them upon their return to the Palace
