Found on the first basement level of the temple was the location of the meditation gardens. Large and containing much flora within through the use of hydroponics, they served as great places for Jensaarai to come for meditation on the Force itself. Seeking out it's guidance and knowledge as they meditated on it's greatness. There were four meditation gardens in total...
The meditation garden to the Northwest side of the first basement floor was the "Hyarsaarai garden." Hyarsaarai meaning "to crave truth" in the Sith language. Within it was many trileaf trees, namana trees, and tendril trees that helped to give off a tropical feel to the garden. Imported grass from Dandrian also contributed to it's tropical atmosphere. Including the flowers that were imported from Storinal and Vendara. Small poi ponds that contained poi fish were located here and there, of which some contained miniature waterfalls. Many of the Carrier butterflies that inhabited the temple prior to the Jensaarai's arrival made this meditation garden their home. Them often being breed and used by the Jensaarai to send messages throughout the temple itself.
The meditation garden to the Southwest side of the first basement floor was the "Châtssaarai garden." Châtssaarai meaning "to gain truth" in the Sith language. Within it were many marsh-grubber trees, stickle trees, and perlote trees that gave the garden a kind swamp theme to it. The Nola grass, adder moss that grew about, rominaria flowers, and bamboo also helped to give off the swampy atmosphere of the meditation garden. Some gorgs, ground beetles, and dragonflies from Naboo inhabited nearby the small marsh-like ponds in the area, of which a few lilypad mimics from Dagobah also could be found among the lilypads.
The meditation garden to the Southeast of the first basement floor was the "Dzowrsaarai garden." Dzowrsaarai meaning "To abide truth" in the Sith language. Within the garden were lots of bafforr trees, Lumas trees that glowed in the dark, vulwood trees, and toal trees made the garden look as if it were a forest from Ithor or an Ithorian Herdship. However, many zherry blossom trees which bloomed beautiful pink flowers also were located here. Bringing the meditation garden an even more graceful and calming feel to it. Blueleaf shrubs, arool cactuses, bull-ferns, forrolow berry bushes, and Ithorian roses were among the many other plants native to Ithor that were imported to this meditation garden. Like the Hyarsaarai garden, this garden too contained poi ponds with poi fish within, though giant lilies native to Ithor were also within them by anchoring themselves to the underwater stones in the pond to grow. Dreeka also swam within the ponds, and it was a common sight to see Ivuur birds singing in the trees who were also imported here, who could also exit the place through a small hole in the ceiling that led straight outside of the temple for more open space, though the birds seemed to have made the meditation garden their main home.
And the meditation garden to the Northeast of the first basement floor of the "Wonsaarai garden" Wonsaarai meaning "to free truth" in the Sith language. The garden itself seemed to have a somewhat lush forest theme to it, as if were modeled after the forests of Endor or planet Kashyyk as many of their plants were found here. Various pine trees and infantile wroshyr trees were brought here, as were a few blase trees and cambylictus trees that grew in the koi ponds of the garden. Like the Dzowrsaarai garden, zherry blossom trees could also be found here. Clovers, aura blossoms that glowed the dark, dlock plants, rillrrnnn, fuzzynettle, jingjang bushes, and kolvissh grew at the garden too. Within the koi ponds which contained koi fish, trout and golden-colored fish from Kashyyk also inhabited them. Tree frogs from Kashyyyk and floaters also made their home in the meditation garden.
Besides the four meditation gardens on the first level of the temple, toward the far eastern side of the floor was a secret underground tunnel that led directly to another way into the Crystal caverns within the Nunnehi forests outside the Jensaarai temple. Entry into this secret tunnel was only possible by pressing a loose-stone block on the wall nearby it's entrance. The stone block having the Common Sith words, "Qoqyâsik" etched and written on it, which meant in the Sith language, "Path to the Force" so those in the know could tell it's the right stone. Several other stones nearby on thewall with written Common Sith words, such as "Shâsotsaarai" meaning "struggle of truth" and Qoritqyâsik meaning "End of the Force" were about to help hide the stone a little, but otherwise did nothing. Upon pressing in the right stone, the hidden door which concealed the secret entrance would slide open and would close within a minute of being opened.
