Descending from orbit, Rioux began making a scan of the planet and the cities therein. He had discovered where Auri had gone, but a planet was a large place to simply search blindly. He had to pick out the most logical places first and start there. Going through the cities that came up, he went through them one by one, trying to gauge the presence of those in each according to what little knowledge he had gleaned from the woman. Finally, he came across Qaestar Town, the largest city on the planet. What was more, it seemed the spaceport was run by gangs and criminals. Seemed like a good place to seek out smugglers. Locking in the coordinates, Rioux turned the ship and headed for his destination.
It was a little time, but eventually, the massive city came into view. Taking a deep breath, he got permission to land was directed to a landing zone. Following the prompt, he pushed forward, finding his spot and landing. Setting himself down, he departed the ship, making sure to lock it behind him. However, he didn't seem to make it too far before as a group of ten appeared from all around and began to move on him. Looking around, he gave a small chuckle. He knew what this was about. With the spaceport run by gangs, they determined the fees and since he was a new arrival, they figured they teach him the rules of the city and make him a "generous" offer. With their guns raised, they moved a bit closer, smirks and sneers on each of their faces.
Raising his hands up a bit, Rioux made sure to speak first. "Whoa, easy fellas. There's no need for all that. I mean we could do it the hard way... His head then dropped a little to his side as he spoke quietly to himself. "Khosala Am'ka, command line. Targetting." The gun then lifted out of his holster by way of the Force and lifted over his head as the sights rose up. His eyes then flipped forward and the red "R" began glowing as the targeting system began locking onto each person surround him as it spun in a slow circle above his head. The action made most of the men take a step back, more out of confusion than fear. A smirk then crossed Rioux's face. "Or we can do it my way. Khosala Am'ka, death blossom mode." Exterting his control of the Force, the gun began to spin in random direction rapidly, almost making it hard to truly tell its pattern. But if any had a good eye, they would notice that it spun everywhere except a small section that the man encompassed.
The men began backing up more, looking at each other. Sure, there were ten of them, but if the man's gun was capable of firing in rapid succession, what was to stop it from hitting all of them before they could really get a shot off. Not to mention the man was coldly confident. Deciding not to risk it, they put down their guns and left the area, choosing to leave Rioux be. It continued to spin a little longer before Rioux lifted his hand, catching the gun before bringing it down to his side as it spun on his finger and was placed into his holster.
With that small delay out of the way, he made his way over to the transports, seeking to move into the city and visit the bars. If Auri was here, that would be the best place to find her. It always seemed that business and information could be found there.

She stepped out the shuttle transport, as it had been gliding down from the ridge to the city she had been chatting to a lovely Trandoshan, he had been telling her all about his bone collection and she had feigned enough interest to keep him happy. In return she had learnt that there was a bar called the Iron Brew that was a favourite hangout for smugglers in the city, so that was where she would head first.
There were two ways to approach places that were controlled by lowlifes and criminals, either you kept your head down and slipped through as quietly unnoticed as you could or you acted like Auri would. She strode down the grubby streets her gold hair caught by the breeze as it whipped behind her, she knew that she was catching the gaze of the locals and she enjoyed every second of the attention. Auri exuded a confidence that screamed stay back or you won't like what might happen to her. When she flashed her smile at a couple of curious looking locals her sharp canine teeth were exposed, showing her off to be every part a predator. She had no reason to be scared, when you had experienced the worst life could throw at you and survived then every day from that moment was a breeze. Following the directions that she had been given she turned into a side street and saw the sign above the door that she had been looking for, a bored looking security guard lounged against the wall outside and he lazily raised his head when she approached.
"Well I'm supposed to charge in return for protection inside," He spoke as his eyes locked with hers, "But I think that you'll find many a man willing to protect you. However I believe in equality and all that feminist stuff that people tell me is what you all want so it's twenty creds to have a chance of coming out alive."
"What will fifty creds get me?" Already thinking that she was going to have to put this on account, Kojja better not deny her credit line now.
"A personal body guard that will be discretely watching your back?"
Taking out her cred-card she tapped it on his pad, relieved to see the credit transfer going across. Putting the card back away she entered the doorway, the bar was underground and she made her way down the metal staircase and into the badly lit room. She blinked a moment, adjusting her eyes to the UV spectrum and cast a look around at the patrons. All of them were carrying some kind of weapon, little sparks of blue where electrical currents ran through them caught her eyes. A few were loaded to the max and it amazed her how many people these days had artificial body parts. Blinking again she let her gaze return to normal, she had already caught a male all in grey taking a seat nearby and his hand lingering near his weapon. She guessed he was her back watcher.
Heading towards the bar, she casually glanced at the patrons sat by it. Six or Seven random species, mostly staring at their drinks and not making eye contact. A couple of humans were at the end of the bar chatting quietly. In the booths and tables a few groups sat, some seemed like old friends, others more like they were discussing business.
"Don't see many of your kind around, Goldie. You're a rare breed." The barman glanced her up and down, the fact that he even recognised her "breed" was a surprise given that she'd never met any other Firrereos since being sold to the Hutts.
"Any been here recently?"
He shook his head, "No, but a few people talk of one working in their trade over in the Wild Space region mostly. A smuggler. Not met him through, not sure his name either sorry."
"I'm looking for some smugglers, wasn't told of any of them being Firrereo through. Red haired, human female? Short haired, male, scruffy Lorrdian? Even more scruffy male blonde human?"
He shook his head again, "No, not familiar. However heard of a lot of groups going to ground recently and when smugglers go to ground they don't hang out on the ground much. You might want to head to some of the asteroid belts and stuff where they hide out." He passed her a drink, "Anyway sit and chat, might be someone that knows where they are coming by. If I hear anything I'll send them over."
Auri quietly sipped the drink wondering whether to risk the owners annoyance by making some creds on the side and upsetting his regulars.

Rioux wasn't beyond paying for a little extra knowledge, giving his driver an extra tip for guiding him to the select bars that would best suit his needs. The Iron Brew was at the top of the list for smugglers. He had his leads, now, all he could hope for was to find his prey. Walking down the streets, he followed the directions he was given before finally coming across the bar.
In front stood a guard, though he just stared at him for a moment. It looked like the man wanted to say something, but upon looking the fairly built Rioux over, alongside the gun and lightsaber on his belt, he remained silent. With only a gaze more, he moved into the building. His eye still remained active, casting a faint red glow as he moved through the darker sections. He was scanning biometrics while his good eyes were still seeking the typical visual inspection. A few different races were around, all mostly keeping to themselves. Barely any actually showed they even noticed him.
He moved through the bar for what seemed like a solid ten minutes, not find Auri. He was about to call it quits and head to the next location when he saw her sitting at the bar. It could have been so easy to drop her now, but unfortunately, the location wasn't a good one for that. The moment he pulled his gun, everyone around him would target him. And he certainly didn't want to give away the fact he was here and hunting her by walking up to her. For now, he'd wait in the shadows. His eyes scanned her over, locking in her signature. A valuable piece of equipment, but it only lasted for a short time. If she was able to sneak out when he wasn't looking at avoided him for even five minutes, he'd be back to square one. Finding a seat in the corner out of the typical sight line, her waited for her to leave, watching every angle he could.

Slowly she stirred the last of her drink, she had nursed it out a while as she debated what to do next. The bartender had occassionally passed shaking his head and she didn't want to just leave Talus with just a blind hope that she'd stumble onto the right asteroid belt. Someone had to know how to find these guys, they had apparently caused enough trouble to be worth enough for Kojja to pull everyone onto the job with unlimited funds. She idly wondered how much bounty they had clocked up to be worth that, more than she would ever be worth to anyone she bet. Shrugging she pushed the glass back across the bar, and herself out of her seat, starting to move towards the door when she felt something gripping her arm, the fingers closing like a vice.
"Don't I know you, girly?"
Auri didn't even want to look down at the male with the jeering tone in his voice, it reminded her of someone are from the past and she didn't want to find out whether she was right. Twisting her arm, she tried to drag it free but his hand was too tight. From nearby she heard a click of a blaster being readied, and the protection she'd hired at the door rounded behind her and pointed his weapon directly at the the pirate.
"I'd let the lady go if you want to leave here alive, sir."
"Ahhh how sweet, she's got a friend! She had them before too, they didn't last too long if I remember correctly."
Auri closed her eyes, trying to keep her composure and block out the memories that came flooding in uninvited. She had spent a long time blocking her past from her mind.
"Let me go." Her voice hissed through her teeth, a low growl emanating deep inside, she wanted to turn and scratch and tear, to pull him apart limb from limb. She couldn't. She couldn't even free herself, the more he held on the weaker she felt as she was trapped by her mind more than his hand. Suddenly it released. She heard the laughter seeming from far away.
"Don't worry, this girly isn't ours anylonger and she isn't worth the price to get her back. I don't want any trouble."
She didn't wait, she didn't want him to see the tears that stung her eyes. She felt so weak and hopeless. Staggering free she ran out of the bar, back up the steps to the sunshine above. Her eyes were too misted to know where she was going, she just wandered blindly around the back streets ignoring the beggars and street sellers as she desperately tried to pull herself back out of her past.

Rioux waited patiently in the shadows of the cantina, ready for the moment she left. However, when she got up and was grabbed by another, he stood to his feet quickly. One could say he wasn't about to let someone else get his bounty, but if he was honest, it was because of how the man was treating her. It was disrespectful and it infuriated him to no end. It didn't make it a couple of steps before noticing another step up and threaten the man. It further confirmed his decision to wait her out.
Taking a step back, he continued to watch as the man backed off and let Auri go. In no time, she was out the door. What was interesting was the fact that he saw tears streaming down her face. It seemed so...out of place for her. He didn't know her aside from a single encounter, but from what he learned in that moment, seeing her crying was completely unexpected. Still, he couldn't let her get away. Luckily, he had gotten a read on her biometrics with his eye, which would allow him to track her. Dropping a few credits on the table for his drink, he made his way out of the bar.
Reaching the street, he looked around, enhancing his scanners to try and pick up her signature. It took a bit longer than he expected, literally taking a minute before he was able to pick up her signal. Already she had covered some distance, still running since she left the cantina. Taking a deep breath, he took off down the street, working to follow every path he could to close the distance as quickly as possible. Leaping over any obstacle in his way, stepping on it, rolling over it, even flipping if he had to. For his size, he was still fairly agile. Bit by bit, her image growing in his eye.

Several months has passed since the Corellian Coalition has passed the bill granting the small economic package needed to help begin construction on several cities across Talus. The locations had been surveyed and their information submitted to Lynne Jameroo for final approval, before construction had begun. Construction equipment was brought in and the land cleared. While some of the overseer positions were filled by Talus and Tralus natives, Refugees filled the rest of the positions. Those with existing skills were put to work, while others were provided training both on and off the job to aide them with filling the positions they were hired to fill.
Over a dozen new cities were planned, and more Refugees were being brought in from across the Corellian system to meet the demand that these sites required. Simultaneously, those whom did not feel they could help with the construction projects took up jobs elsewhere across the Coalition, or volunteered to join the Defence Force training that the Coalition has passed into law months earlier

Lynne was relieved by how little responsibility she actually had over the day to day oversight of the construction effort. Most of her time was spent signing off on projects and double checking work, to make sure their was suitable accommodations for all the different kinds of people that would be coming to live here. And for the most part their were only a couple things that needed tweaked, having the people who would be residents working on the project, ensured that many of those issues were taken care of before they even reached the Doctor. One thing that she had to do though, was trying to squeeze every last credit out of her budget. This mostly involved a lot of heated holocalls to manufactures, trying to presser discounts out of them. If not with guilt, the promise of tax breaks and rights to be some of the first allowed to set up shop in the city would do it. And any others would usually relent when she dropped the fact she'd be on a holocall with the Coalition leadership later that day, and maybe get the company black listed for it's unwillingness to help. This made her rather unpopular with the captains of industry within the Coalition, but only made her more of a hero to the refugees who would now have higher quality refreshers due to her work.

Relentlessly Lynne worked. Between missions to save ex-Galactic Alliance soldiers and civilians and her other duties, she was on site, touring the cities. It had been under a year, but the cities were nearing completion. They already had people living in them, mostly work crews and others to provide food and entertainment, but after many headaches and late or sleepless nights, the job was almost done. Only a few minor things still needed to be ironed out in these cities, but for the most part were livable. Many streets and buildings were dedicated in the names of heroes of both the Galactic Alliance and Corellian Coalition. Each hospital had at least one building bearing Lynne's name, much to her embarrassment and insistence against. With this project and the refugee crisis drawing to a close, Lynne started to eye some more personal projects that had been tabled during this time.

Several years had passed since the Coalition had funded a renewal of the long-running Talus refugee programs, and the new cities could boast that they had become self-sufficient, with a normal amount of support from FedDub, and no new relief funding requests that had to be escalated to the Coalition. The success of the project was a testament to the organizational skill (and sweat, and tears) of former Alliance and current Coalition administrators, as well as the hard work of the refugees themselves. Every few months, the HoloNet News carried a new success story or puff piece about the project and its inhabitants.
However, a fracture was lurking just beneath the surface: friction between the native Corellians and the growing population of outsiders.

A StealthX roared over the surface of Talus. Having been given clearance by the planetary security, the Jedi pilot maneuvered down to the surface before the starfighter was soon gliding over the glistening waters that made up the planet's glorious seas. Leaning slightly to the right, High Lord Lucien's eyes could see the teeming sea life just upon the surface. Perhaps, one day, Ossus would have similar bodies of water. It had been several months since the meeting with Nem Yin, followed by a congregation of Jedi, with the Corellian leader, Mike Frantz, and Grandmaster Aerandir. Lucien was now a member of the ruling Jedi Council and his place, within the Order, confirmed further. There was much being done on Ossus, but the High Lord still found time to come Coreward and to the world of Talus in the Corellian Sector.
The StealthX roared over the open waters and into its more mountainous regions. From the shore, the starfighter jetted through the sky and soared over its peaks. Here was his true destination. Lucien wasn't one for sightseeing, although it was a temptation. No, the Jedi Lord had a purpose to come to Talus of all places. There was something here, something that piqued his mind and reinforced the desire to come here. And when the Jedi landed, his eyes spotted immediately what he sought after.
Where he had landed was at the end of immense operation. Here, hovertrucks and shuttles took off, carrying a precious cargo from the mines further back. As Lucien Malvern moved about, the glistening bar of metal caught his eye as they were loaded into a crate nearby. Songsteel, an extraordinarily light and luminescent silver metal, used in masterwork swords and staves. However, Malvern had something else in mind for the metal. He sought to speak with whoever was in charge of the operation and his presence was sure noticed quickly, causing a reaction as a few security personnel came over.
=Security= Master Jedi, this is an unsafe area.
The officer states with a raised hand. Lucien raises his own hand though, greeting the personnel.
No need to worry yourself, officer. I came seeking your Overseer and those who run their distribution. I have a mind to acquire some of this metal from their stocks. Songsteel is quite the fine metal and I have a vision for it!
The grinning High Lord did cause the security to glance at each other before one keys a comlink. After several moments, she nods her head to the officer who spoke before. The trio then step aside, welcoming Lucien Malvern and indicating where to go. Hopefully, the amount he sought wouldn't cost him an arm and a leg though.

Nashal
Even though his advisors suggest that he lay low after the press hammers him for his decision to appoint a member of the Liberation Party as the Prime Minister of Tralus and allow them to effectively lead their world's governance without the President stepping in unless invited or in times of war or crisis, President Burkhart Trauner decides that it would be better to show that he does not intend to allow a bit of negative press to deter him from doing his job, and instead focuses on finding other ways to bring the citizens of Talus together.
Nashal, originally founded by Selonian architects, was once a focal point for cultural exchange between the Drall, Selonian and Human residents of Talus, and Burkhart holds a lavish charity banquet, inviting prominent Drall, Selonian and Human citizens of both Talus and Tralus, with the proceeds going towards the restoration of areas of Nashal that have fallen into various states of disrepair. During his address to the attendees of the banquet, Burkhart reveals his plan to restore the practice of using Nashal as a neutral ground for meetings between the three native species of the Double Worlds in the hopes of fostering a greater solidarity and cooperation between the Drall, Selonians and Humans after recent events had caused a certain degree of conflict to rise up between them.

Nashal
President Trauner's initiative to foster greater solidarity among the native sentient species of the Five Worlds running directly contrary to the goals of some of the shadowy political forces brewing beneath the surface within the system, multiple attempts are made to insert spies into the activities, and at the very least, observe all that is done at Nashal, and any cracks for brewing dissent that might be leveraged, either now or later, to negate or discredit the effort. Even if they can have no direct impact on the events at Nashal or prevent them from occurring, the plotters hope that they may identify potential allies, or at the very least, useful pawns within the political, scholar, and artist classes, that they may contact in the future to sow discord within the system as a precursor to revolution. However, the early months yield practically no useful avenues for exploitation, to the frustration of all involved.
