The old Jedi master had thought about the ongoings. Strange times had arisen forging an unlikely alliance. Short-lived maybe but needed to make sure all Force Users could survive. Still there were things to be done. Civilians would need a shelter. Also forces were needed to aid the battle. Might it be by the means of supporting goods or evacuating innocents. Yolem had seen enough wars and battlefields to know that so much more was needed. Also he knew that it ended at a table and the winners tended to strip people from all but pride. Yet there were factions in this galaxy that would start to fight who was to dictate the conditions. One more faction might be tip on the scale to bring back balance.
He got on board of one of the vessel and told the pilot the coordinations. Strange times asked for strange allies. Maybe the Imperial Knights were the allies for the Republic to keep the Sith and Jedi at bay. There was a chance that they could help to establish peace throughout the galaxy. The old master pondered on that. Slim were the chances but he was willing to take them as they offered themselves.

The turbolift doors opened, and Arcturus finally stepped out onto the hangar deck of the Temple spire. He had only been here briefly when he had landed, not paying much attention to the place as he was in a hurry to get to the council chambers. Now though, he could be more at ease. The command pod dominated the center of the ceiling, with fighters and various other transports arranged in a circular spoke wheel pattern across the deck, with there being various fighters and transport models that he couldn't identify.
"Must be some of the famed J-tech..."
When your business was spacecraft, you tended to keep up with the leading edge of design and industry. News had spread through the Corps of the J-tech designs for Jedi and force sensitives...widely though, the Corps had steered clear of using such craft with a few notable exceptions. Arcturus though, wasn't one of those exceptions; located in slot four on the hangar deck was a sleek bronzed colored starfighter - having a sickle shaped fuselage with twin engine drives attached by way of support spars and struts port and starboard, the ship was one of the new generation Owool Interceptors...sturdy, but fast. One of the maintenance rings that was inset into the hangar deck was currently raised, holding the fighter in the air by supporting the craft by its engine pods. Lovingly, Arcturus ran a hand across one of the aft heatsink panels before coming to a stop near a collection of hoses amidships on the ventral surface, checking the flashing lights next to the hoses to see the fuel pumps status.
"Almost full."
With a satisfied nod of his head, Arcturus looked around briefly before fetching a toolbox, and grabbing a hydrospanner began removing the bottom panels of the ship. it took him several minutes untighten the airsealed plates, and more than a little grunting - they were armored after all - to lug them out of the way. Eventually though, they were out of the way, and exposed the warhead feed system to the three launchers on the fighter. Waving a technician over, Arcturus gestured to the system.
"I need to be outfitted for an upcoming battle. Five warheads each, if you could manage it, I'd like five regular torps, five ion torps, and five of your famed shadow bombs I hear so much about."
The technician nodded slowly, before gesturing for Arcturus to wait, walking away he talked with a few ground crew technicians briefly before returning with a datapad.
=Tech= "Sign here please."
Giving his signature, Arcturus handed the datapad back as several techs wheeled a small padded cart filled with warheads over. they began to load the warheads into place, but Arcturus gestured for them to leave it. With shrugs, they simply walked away - chattering among themselves. Gingerly, Arcturus made sure to verify that each warhead was deactivated before handling the bombs...gently sliding each one into its properly launcher and securing it before loading the next. It was a time consuming process, but eventually the bombs were loaded, and Arcturus began the process of securing the armor plates back into place over the warhead access hatch. Finishing, he idly wiped a sleeve across his face, clearing the sweat there...they kept the temp a tad too high for his likes here. Checking the fuel hoses once more, he unhooked the pump when the light red green, and then proceeded to check coolant levels; so on through his usual maintenance list.
"Fuel, green. Coolant, green. Warhead safeties, green. Warhead loading mechanisms, green. Power systems, green. Pressure, green. Avionics, green."
Climbing into the cockpit, Arcturus bounced several times in the seat before settling into the conform pilots chair. One of the few luxuries that he allowed himself. Tapping several buttons inset into the hardwood paneling (it was a wookie design after all!) the Holographic tactical display initiated - lights fluttered into existence, with flight control data and avionics scrolling across the viewport in a dizzying display of information. Silently, Arcturus continued to check and verify - validating the data displayed was accurate to the performance of the vessel...

Jena entered the hangar, presumably with Adi still hobbling along beside her, and walked the short distance over to her personal yacht - The Physicians Fury. The pilots and the temple mechanics were checking over the vessel, just as a precaution, and waved acknowledgement to Jena when they spied her. Giving a small nod and a wave in return, she walked up the lowered boarding ramp and disappeared inside the ship. Making her way to the room she'd designated as her office on board the ship, she discarded her outer robe on the back of chair that sat behind a desk and turned to Adi as she gestured to the chair nearest to him for him to sit and relieve some of the stress on his broken leg."Congratulations on your appointment to the Council, Adieumus." She smiled back at him while she poured them each a glass of the finest Coruscanti wine to toast the occasion. Turning back to face him, she handed him one of the glasses with a smile. "It's well deserved, and you'll do just fine."She paused, with a contemplative look on her face while taking a sip from her glass. Moving over to the chair where she'd tossed her outer robe, she placed her glass on the desk and sat down. Leaning back, she cupped an elbow with one had while resting the forefinger of the other hand on her lips."So tell me Adi, what's on your mind? I know you didn't follow me all the way to my ship just to spend quality time with me. I know there's something going on in that spiky haired head of yours - so what is it?" There was no malice behind the words, in fact there was a hint of a teasing overtone and just a genuine curiosity as to what the man was thinking or planning. She knew he almost always had some kind of plan, and she'd rather know what it was now than be taken by surprise later. She wasn't that fond of surprises, especially if the surprise involved possible death or dismemberment....

*Octavious' royal blue Star skiff lands on a pad just inside of the hangar. The roar fills the hangar as he sets it down and extends the landing gear. Powering everything down, he senses a familiar presence. A chat he's been looking forward to for a while since he left Carida. He gets everything shut down but goes to the cargo hold. Activating a secret switch and opening a holding area, he lifts a long and slender carrying case. This case pulses with the dark side and echoes pure power. The containment crystals were starting to become corrupted. Being trained by the Baran Do, he separates himself from being taken over. It was easier said than done but he accomplished it. He couldn't take too long hanging around it. Eventually it would erode will of those in possession of it. Octavious wasn't worried, he could meditate for a few hours and purge these feelings away should it come to that. In the meantime he holds the case and waits for Mirania on the ramp.*

Mirania felt the ship touch down and she quickly finished getting dressed and trying to smooth her hair and her clothes. She had exchanged her light summer wear from Naboo for her usual traveling duds during the trip, which 4TY had been kind enough to provide before they had left.
Exiting the cabin, she made her way down to the exit ramp where she saw Octavious waiting for her and she greeted him with a smile."Hey there."Her smile turned into a slight frown when she noticed what he was carrying. It was giving off some kind of dark aura."What's that?"

He knew she could sense the darkness in the long case. He kept it hidden for a while. The lizards had it and he confiscated it. Which is why they did bad things to him. How they found it, he didn't care. But it was dark and powerful and it needed to be kept out of the capable hands of those who could benefit from using it. He touched her face to let her know it was okay.*
"Don't worry about this love. I just have to drop this off with the Master Archivist. Something that's best kept away from those who would use it for evil."
*He takes her hand to re-assure her. And begins to walk down the ramp.*
"It won't be a threat much longer."
*He walks up with the case in his hand and makes his way with Mirania closer to Dr. Shaewe and Adi.*

She wasn't that fond of surprises, especially if the surprise involved possible death or dismemberment.... Adieumus took the chair with much appreciation, and thanked Jena for the compliment. Just being around any of Ice's family at this point was comforting, it had been so long since he had seen her. Unfortunately, it would have to wait just a little bit longer...."Your words are too kind, Jena...and you are quite perceptive." He took a sip of the offered wine, and smiled. It was a dry, red spirit, similar in color to the Noghri wine he so liked. It parched his mouth, but he still enjoyed it. It even tingled a little as it went down. "It's quite simple really. I need to borrow a bacta tank before I go to Kuat, and I need a space to repair my CLoWDS armor as best as I can. Gregory can help me through it, as long as I have a bit of time, and a healed-up body.
Think you can help me speed things along?"He coughed, and winced. The ribs were still quite tender, but just being around this many Jedi most certainly did much for Adi's connection to the light. Seeing Jena also helped that as well...
She reminded him very much of her niece right now. Quietly, he changed the subject."How are things back home?"What he really meant to say was 'How is Icey? Lukas? Eya? Is everything still all right on the planet? I miss being home. I miss my family. I miss my life on Honoghr.' However, he was trying to keep from breaking down right there on the spot, and making a fool of himself. He was already only a half-step away from it as it was.

Is everything still all right on the planet? I miss being home. I miss my family. I miss my life on Honoghr.' However, he was trying to keep from breaking down right there on the spot, and making a fool of himself. He was already only a half-step away from it as it was. She silently noted the cough and wince of pain when he spoke. He was pretty banged up, inside and out, and one didn't have to be a healer/doctor to know that much. Leaning forward, Jena chuckled softly as she folded her arms on the desk and met his gaze."Just a bacta tank? Adi, you need to be in a regular hospital for about a week, maybe more, if you want to be at hundred percent again. Running off to another battle isn't going to help you, or anyone else, with the shape you're in." She sighed, stopping herself before she started ranting. Ranting wouldn't do any good right now - plus he looked kind of pathetic at the moment, and it would be like kicking a small furry animal just because. Briefly rubbing her forehead with a hand, her blue eyes met his again."There's a bacta tank in the next room, I keep one on the ship because it never hurts to be prepared. You're welcome to use it. As for your armor....Ben can help you take care of that. He's one of the mechanics who keeps the ship running in tip-top shape while I'm traveling." She studied him for a moment before answering his inquiry about how things were back on Honoghr. She knew what he meant without him saying the words aloud and for a moment she considered telling him the truth. The truth of how it was affecting Ice, though Ice had never said anything. Jena knew her niece well enough to know that Ice was holding her feelings inside. She had always done so, even after she witnessed her parents deaths on Hoth. It took Jena a few years to get Ice to open up about the events of that day.
Another truth was that Lukas and E'yame were growing up without a father. To Jena's knowledge, Adi had only seen his son a couple of times in the last thirteen or fourteen months since he was born - and E'yame, who was a teenager now, was aloof....almost to the point of indifference, to her fathers extended absences. And then there was the truth of mysterious people showing up and questioning Ice about Adi's whereabouts, especially after the someone recently blew up some of MandalMines holdings. All these truths weighed heavily on Jena's mind, and she knew it weighed heavily on Ice's mind as well. An invisible target had been painted on the planet, and them. The only consolation, so far, is that no one had taken any drastic actions and attacked them - yet.
Shaking her head slightly, Jena stood up from the chair and folded her arms across her chest while she mulled over whether or not to tell Adi all of this. She decided against it for the time being. Adi was already in a lot of physical pain, he didn't need any of the mental banthashit to go with it. Though she suspected he had a lot more on his mind that he already mentioned, besides being nearly killed.
Taking a moment of pity on Adi, she smiled as she answered his unspoken question. "Everyone, and everything, is fine. Lukas is walking now, albeit not without the occasional bumps and bruises of a toddler. E'yames doing well at the academy. Business is a little slow at the RDMC, and truthfully, we kind of hope it stays that way for a little while longer. And Ice is doing good. She and Ali have kept the administrations side of things running smoothly."She paused, momentarily, to lean over the desk and press a button on the console in one of the lower corners. One of the med droids, that had accompanied her to Coruscant, appeared a moment later. After having a brief conversation with the droid, it left the room again. Glancing over to Adi, Jena smiled again. "The bacta tank will be ready in half an hour, or so - in the meantime I'll get an I.V. line in you and get you prepped for submersion."

Everything checked out; cannons were fully charged, capacitors, safety rings, gas chambers, fuel pumps, warheads, engines, repulsorlifts...everything was in the green. After everything checked out, Arcturus had climbed out of the ship and had requisitioned one of the Jedi's flight suits; a padded flight suit capable of forming an airtight seal with internal heater, complete with a chest mounted life support system, and enclosed helmet - a pair of breathing tubes connected the box and the helmet. Silently Arcturus shook his head, the orange tinted transparisteel of the flight helmet shaking slightly as well - he knew though, that the time had come. Just recently he had received verification that his comrades were in orbit, waiting for him, group coordinates for a hyperspace jump to Kuat had also been plotted...the flight leader was all that was left.
Climbing into the cockpit, Arcturus pulled a lever, and watched as the canopy slid closed, then made a sharp *hiss!* as it pressurized. Hitting a control stud near the lever he initiated repulsorlifts, and felt the ship slowly bob into the air of its own accord. Easing the control yoke forward, the ship slowly slipped from its berth and out of the hangar...another button flicked, and with a scream the ships ion engines engaged; a mere nudge of the controls, and the ship rocketed into the sky...
The battle was close to beginning.

He didn't want Mirania to feel this evil for long. He had to take it to the archives. The Master Archivist would know what to do with it. He could feel her uneasiness. So he tries to ease it.*
"I have to drop this off with the Master Archivist first. Then I'll give you the grand tour. I sense that you've never been to a temple like this before? Wait until you see the archives."
*With that he waves his hand to open the turbolift doors. Once inside he hits the button where the archives where on.*

Mirania followed him, eager for him to get that thing taken care of, both because it sent chills up her spine and because once he was done, she would get a tour of the temple. A place like this had a lot of history as the center of the Jedi Order for thousands of years, and she was very much looking forward to a tour.
She smiled."Let's hurry then! I wanna get this tour started!"

Once Adi was safely ensconced within the bacta tank, and Ben was tasked with checking over the Jedi Masters armor, Jena sent out a few more highly coded messages and then spoke to the pilot about setting a course. Soon enough the matte black ship was leaving the hangar and rising up into the atmosphere of Coruscant. The pilot communicated with orbital control for a few moments before maneuvering the Physicians Fury to the nearest hyperspace lane then disappeared into the vastness of space, continuing on the way to their destination....

The gunship rolled into place along the outermost landing platforms of the Tower Hangars, coasting to Terra Firma with all the grace of a falling feather. There was poetry in the care the pilots took in setting down the ship, an odd contrast to the sight which greeted the hustle and bustle of the hangar personnel as the side hatches opened. Inside, stacked floor to ceiling, were almost a dozen coffins bearing the insignia of the Yavin Jedi temple. Solid carbonite mixed with other metals to both preserve and revere those held within while just as many living beings stumbled to the ground. They were younglings all of them, or near enough in age to make no difference, all of them sporting a lightsaber and Jedi robes mixed with Republic armor, all of them looking like they'd come out the other end of a meat grinder.
The last to exit the ship looked very much out of place with the whole group- the lanky blonde human in a muddy, bloody lab coat was definitely no Jedi. The Force was present around him but only inasmuch as it was present around all living things.
"Right," he said to the gathered crowd, "I left a message at the council headquarters so they'll be expecting you. Somewhere. I'm not a commander or a Jedi or even a parent, so I suck at these things, but still... you all did good. There were probably a good ten-thousand soldiers on Yavin and we're some of the only ones to make it out. So just... do yourselves a favor and be proud. Now go. Find someone who knows what they're doing around here and can get you settled."
"And where will you go," one of them- the Bith- asked.
Levi shrugged. "Wherever they keep the liquor. I need to get Sith-faced." He turned, began walking to the door and didn't even pause to wave goodbye. "Later kids."
I am the worst role model ever.

12 HOURS BEFORE THE MEETING OF THE MASTERS. . . .
A Corellian made YT-1760 small transport freighter bearing the emblem of the Jedi Order with laser burns and pot marks, classic indicators of a rough scuffle; the freighter makes a creeky landing atop its landing struts, and a deep thud on the pad same pad of which it had departed from no too long ago.
Master Will Son'tir borrowed this freighter to retrieve the jedi he now has, Joshua however is still in a restorative coma, not sure when he will recover, Adi Matango is safe and secure, but so many more were not. . .
Will had no idea what he could do. He knows he can't save them all one at a time. Sith, he can't barely keep himself alive at times. After completing shutdown protocols, He takes a breath and makes his way back to the medical bay to check on the rest of the passengers. . . .

Syla had braced all her medical knowledge against Adis mangled body. She was a dishonorable discharged Marine Medic, but at least she was a good Marine medic. She manadged to stabilise Adi. Pitting splints to breaks, brace for neck and chest, cutting where internal bleeding has happened, patching up where needed to be patched up, but with all the Sci Fi medical gear and knowledge, Will found the Cyberpunk Padawan in a depressed state, sitting on a tiny chair, smoking a cigarra and waiting for the medical team she had called and informed of the patients states.
"This one will sleep untill... well, tomorrow, or untill the Yuhzan Vong return. THis one is broken. If it was up to me I would put his brains and lungs in a jar of bacta and install him into a farming droid with an inbuilt bong. Beyond my help. But... I am just a combat medic."

The doors to the repulsorlift platform opened to greet Leonhardt with the scent of oil, metal, and propellant fumes. Men and women moved around supplies for repairs and stock, some climbing into the hulls of ships to do their work. It was then that Leonhardt noticed a recent entry to the hanger bay. A YT-1760. Damaged, though most of it seems to be superficial. A compulsion to see how the crew was washed over Leonhardt. He pulled out his communicator and tuned in to the general Hanger frequency in hopes that the crew would respond. ::This is Jedi Knight Leonhardt, calling the YT-1760. Is everyone ok? Do you hear me?::

Will found the Cyberpunk radiating melancholy emotions throughout the entire flight deck. Will sulks in his own nature, but after walking in and feeling the matching wave of feelings from Syla, Will brings his shoulders back and his chin up. In a rare moment of empathy, Will walks over to Syla from behind and grips her shoulders tightly in a sign of paternal support. "It's alright, kid. You did all you could. They both have served the order well, Joshua may never recover; but the Force tells me that Adi will pull through." Will reaches down and takes the cigarra from Syla's hand and takes a drag from it himself. "The Force tells me that it has other plans for His Highness here." His thoughts drifted to the still burning Yavin where his old friend Man'sell now lays, and the many comrades on Carida dead, the attack on Ossus. . . .it was all he could do to keep it together. Will blew the smoke out from his lungs and hands the cigarra back to the Cyberpunk. "C'mon, kid. We have to report to the Council, or whatever is left of it. This has to end." Will places his warm palm against her neck with a brief pat, to try to snap her back to reality. The chime of the commlink came on from the deck master, a knight Leonhardt. ::Flight deck, this is Councilor-- I mean Senior Jedi Master Will Son'tir. We have two wounded needing a medivac priority one. The freighter is yours, returned under authorization codes JHC02042014.""

Syla didnt like that. She didnt like that at all. She looked with a disgusted girmace at Will, one of defiance. She grabbed Joshuas hand and held it. She felt anger at the Jedi Knights words. Anger, hope, sadness. Her left eye watered.
"Fuck that."
Josh called her to go out and check on something. She felt so happy that someone needed her, that she got something to do not just drifting. He said its just a little recon thing, checking on the populace, reading some news, asking a couple question. For five days, they had been fleeing mandalorians. For five days they fought to stay alive and try to relay a message that came fuckall too late. Try to warn... ANYONE.
"Fuck that."
Through that crazy ride off Adarlon, to Dressel where she thought they would be safe. But... it wasnt the mandalorians only, the fracking locals were against them. The people they are supposed to protect.
"Fuck that."
She remember killing a man. It was an accident, but she did mosh someone between two vehicles. To save her friends.
"Fuck that."
She took the cigarette.
"What did we accomplish? Yavin got fracked, whatever we did. Cardia is fucking gone, and the war is fucking on. What did we do?"
She didnt wait for an answer. SHe didnt want to hear what the Force told Will. She picked up LEGO, and her assault rifle and got to the ramp, waiting for Will. She had left her report to the medivacs. There was nothing more she could do. She followed Will when he got down.
