As Xeonon watched the man approach he didnt move, no he stood there stoically like a fucking sir. He just let the put strike into his chest knocking the wind out of him. I assume that the hilt of the whole thing is on the outside of the arm and taking the road less traveled Xeonon twisted his wrist downward bringing his silver blade down towards Devlins elbow. After all who needs an arm.

Devlin was mildly surprised Xeonon just stood there and again that his strike struck the man in the chest. But, he didn't have time to consider anything more as Master Solomon's blade veered toward his left elbow.
Panic.
He used it. Did not let it crack his calm.
Fight or flight set in.
Adrenaline speeds his movements. Devlin rotates his right tonfa clockwise around the t-hilt and points the blade at his opponent. At the same time, he thrusts the right tonfa forward in an attempt to catch Xeonon's lightsaber before it severs his arm...so his blade will (hopefully) be under Xeonon's. And, Devlin drops his left arm down and back. He also steps forward with his right foot, closing the distance between them to something bordering on almost claustrophobic.
If successful, Devlin will attempt to push Xeonon's lightsaber up and out (away from their bodies) with his right tonfa. He will then attempt a quick jab to Xeonon jaw on the (Xeonon's) right side with the butt of his left tonfa hilt.
That was the goal. If not successful...well, he shall cross that bridge if needed.

Xeonons right arm through this was more or less un-engaged and as the tonfa blocks his attack Xeonon had a great chance. You see he had left his other hand free because it was a prosthetic that had the strength capable of crushing bone and concrete alike. The hand struck forth with the speed of a thing that was really fast using the servo motors to its advantage he attempted to grab the wrist of Devlins occupied arm (right).
It was then that the butt of the other one hit his face. As it hit he felt it he was thankful it was just a jab because it hurt like a son of a bitch despite his pain resistance. He could feel the inside of his mouth bleeding from where his now chipped teeth bit down on his cheek. His eyes watered; and hopefuylly he had managed to grab hold of the wrist, if indeed he did Xeonon would twist Devlins wrist while squeezing hard enough to make most men cry. With his blade hand he would hopefully get some pressure on his shoulder and get behind Devlin (its safe to say the blade is now off) while moving to get behind his back Xeonon would push down with his human hand while holding the artificial one in place. If this was down right then Devlin would hopefully be bent over his arm being extended backwards placing pressure onto the shoulder causing extreme pain. Xeonon had done this technique many times when he needed information quick and it was similar in essence to torture.
Of course this was all dependtant on getting a hold of the mans wrist in the first place.

Devlin was confident his jab would disrupt Xeonon's concentration. Therefore, he ignored his opponent's right arm.
Mistake.Pain shots through Devlin's right arm, originating at the wrist. Gritting his teeth against the pain, Devlin follows Xeonon. He pivots on his right foot and aims a punch at the back of Xeonon's head with the butt of the hilt of his left tonfa (for variation ). The Cardooinian's right blade scores the ground as his arm is forced downward. If the duel didn't end soon, Devlin might just kill his opponent on accident. Too many possibilities swarmed his mind while pain clouded his judgement...not a good combination. This, he was certain, was a Shatterpoint of their duel.

As he held on tight a sudden and sharp pain started in his head. So far in the duel this outweighed anything on the pain scale ranging up in the area of watching a Gary Buesy movie. The handle end hit his head with amazing force splitting the skin open on his scalp, blood flowing freely down the back of his head. Already it was starting to swell and it was a fresh hit, more so the hit caused the vision on his cybernetic eyes to start to flicker.
The sudden impact caused his muscles to tighten and inadvertently his prosthetic arm which would tighten down on the wrist with a sudden force that could crush the bone hopefully. It was unintentional but this was getting out of hand. He needed to finish this soon or he would be pushing up daises soon enough. Sending a jab with his armoured hand that was holding onto his lightsaber he aimed for the mans throat hoping to damage the breathing somehow or another. While at the same time using his right knee to go and hit his family jewels just to cause some crippling pain.

Devlin had hoped to blind his opponent, even momentarily...or stun him. He did not expect what happened, however. Xeonon just kept coming. This guy was tougher than he looked and he looked like he'd hit every branch as he fell out of the ugly tree and then got into the roughest bar brawl in Hutt space...and lost, twice.
Excruciating pain.
His wrist snapped with a loud crack. The bones broken, nearly shattered. The breath caught in Devlin's throat as his body began to go into shock.
Then, a knee connects with his squishy bits.
Traditionally a Jedi's most under-used organs...A traditional Jedi's most underused parts... Some believed any touch was good touch; that simply wasn't true, especially when the contact was from a swift moving knee.
As Devlin collapses in agony, Xeonon's throat punch scrapes across the top of Devlin's head. Devlin's left arm slides to his right and, unintentionally, aims its blade toward Xeonon's neck.
Thus, much like a wish corrupted, Xeonon could inadvertently cause his own demise. ...If he wasn't careful.
Then falling onto one knee, Devlin rolls onto his back and attempts to sweep Xeonon's legs out from under him; a last ditch effort to defeat his fierce opponent.
Not a well thought out move since this would, most likely, cause Xeonon to fall on top of Devlin.
Devlin's mangled right arm still clutches its tonfa lightsaber and lamely holds it point upward to catch Xeonon. In his addled state, Devlin is hardly aware that he even holds his lightsaber or is reflexively trying to catch Xeonon with his right hand...
Eyes closed, Devlin coughes weakly.
"No fair."
His body was spent.

As Xeonon stood there doing the do he could literally feel the blood pouring out of his skull it was coming out fast dripping down his back and going into his mouth. He could totally taste and smell the copper, if this was going to continue he would be passed out in a few minutes.
It was actually Devlins tipping over that saved Xeonons life, for he was tired and tilted down with it falling to his left (Xeonons) just in time to save him from losing his head. It did not however save him completely as the blade still scored his face burning away a layer of skin, singing hair and removing his right ear. In addition the right cybernetic eye shut out from the heat.
Xeonon was pain drunk by the time he was tripped down, and it was just a cruel thing of fate that the tip of the tonfa would strike the weakened part of his armour. He fell down so hard that it broke through the last part of the filament and it went straight through his body. Right through his gut as he fell down landing on Devlin impaling himself. Laying there he tried to catch his breath but instead he coughed out blood.
Finally able to catch his breath Xeonon let out a bloody laugh that would probably scare the shit out of Devlin more so than the fact that he was still conscious. Releasing the grip on the wrist and his lightsaber Xeonon used much of his remaining strength to push himself up he leaned over and grabbed the second pistol. At such a close range the special rounds in the gun would not do any good but he fired it none the less. Point blank. Into the mans chest. TODAY IS A GREAT WAY TO DIE!

There was nowhere to run. With Xeonon on top of him, Devlin couldn't move.
Devlin's eyes snap open at the maniacal laugh. The bullets tear into his chest. His eyes close.
He didn't even register that his lightsaber had stabbed Xeonon. Or that the man was missing an ear.
Exhausted, broken, and bleeding, he falls into unconsciousness.
His part in the duel done.

Xeonon really couldnt move either, so there he layed on top of the unconscious man. His last thought was that of someone calling his name and sirens around the duo before he slipped into the most peaceful sleep he had had in a long time.

Howdy folks. GBA Judge-in-training/hair stylist Kruor here.
First, I'd like to make note that I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the duel here. There was lightheartedness and joking around, which is a bit of a refreshment after reading scores of "two avatars of destruction and death meeting in dire combat". It's always nice to read posts by writers who don't always need to take themselves too seriously. I was also glad at seeing the use of the environment to spice the duel up. I haven't read a duel with such a huge focus on in-water fighting, so that was fun.
As for the duel itself, I was definitely a fan of Devlin's footwork early on. His posts were clear and well thought out. I could easily understand how and where he was moving, just as I could understand how he planned his strikes. Excellent technical writing; huge plus. I was also a fan of how Devlin was willing to take damage where damage was due, not neglecting to make note of shrapnel impacting his body - a detail some seem to forget time to time. Your use of the Force was never in the realm of unbelievable, so there was absolutely no issue there.
Xeonon, I appreciated the wit and humor in your posts, even if it tended to distract from reading your footwork and fighting moves. I didn't think that your use of the Force was overpowered in every way - each of you took time to carefully explain your moves and had previously concentrated enough energy to achieve them effectively. Your swordplay was also well done - I was especially impressed at the grappling maneuver that was ultimately your end. I did think that taking the tonfa blows to the chest and face without staggering or faltering in your movements was tilting on the unbelievable side, but I don't think it necessarily broke the duel. There was a moment where it seemed one of Devlin's posts was misinterpreted: he had written that his lightsaber hadn't ignited, and you seemed to read that he threw it at you. Not a huge mistake, as you both worked it in very well to the duel. Just a bit of miscommunication.
In the end, I'd have to give this duel to Devlin Dewe for his clear, concise and highly-technical posts. His maneuvering was excellent and the strategy could be clearly read through his posts. You took your fair share of damage and, even though both duelists perished in the end, I feel as though Devlin came out of this on top.
Excellent job to both of you. I'd love to read a rematch sometime.
