Her gaze darkened as she looked at him. In just those few words, he had figured her out. Was she really such an open book to others? Or was it just that he hit a nerve that could be exposed easily? It didn't matter. The truth was out and there was no point in keeping it hidden. If she was going to get anywhere, she was just going to have to suck it up and be honest about herself, at least to a certain degree.
"You are correct. I'm not even able to use the things my master does to increase that power. My first encounter, I felt he tried to kill me, which made my hatred and anger rise. But when I figured out the purpose behind it, the feelings lessened greatly."

"I see. You have the focus and understanding, but without an honest experience that drives home the feelings that swim along in darkness, you can only go so far."
*He thought for a moment, before nodding.* "Perhaps there is something I can do to help you with that. However, it'll take a little time. Until then, Anya will get you rolling in the basics of unarmed combat."
*He turned to Anya and nodded before going over to a tree and sat down, letting himself slip into meditation.*

Anya nodded as he walked over to the tree and began meditating. Stepping closer and in front of Luxeria, she tilted her head as she looked her over.
"Alright then. Hopefully you've begun learning how to wield a lightsaber. A key to any form of combat is keeping your mind and senses open. In the midst of battle, you'd be surprised just how your body moves and how it registers everything around you when you have no time to truly think. The more you train and develop yourself, the better your instinct and reflexes can react on their own."
She began to walk around her, taking in her frame, gauging just how she'd most likely fight. "Taking from the way you stand as well as your size, you'd fight in a similar fashion as I do. Graceful and fluid movements, added alongside agility and mobility. A Makashi or Ataru user more than likely. That is the key to your form of unarmed combat. As I've learned with Gavin, there are four points to combat: evasion, blocking, countering, and attacking. Everything you do boils down to these four things."
Standing in front of Luxeria, Anya held out an open hand, palm facing up. "The first lesson is evasion. The best block is to not even be there. By using evasion techniques, you can throw an opponent of balance as their momentum will carry them passed where the impact should have been. Also, learn to flow with your movements. If you rough with your movements, you'll find yourself stopping often and having to keep adjusting your own weight and momentum. By flowing like a river, your carrying that momentum without wasting any energy as well as keeping yourself outside of an attack. Obviously, you'll always get caught eventually but it is helpful nonetheless."
Her body tensed as she got ready to attack. "Now dodge." Anya came in and jabbed with open fingers with her right hand and Luxeria's head. Following the same flow that she spoke of, the jab let her body begin to twist and went with it as she right side twisted in, she spun and kicked with her right foot, spinning all the way around to spin kick with her left right after.

Luxeria didn't speak as Anya spoke, only watched while trying to measure just as Anya was. As Anya hit the goal to her fighting style, her head tilted forward and to the side a bit. She was surprised that Anya had guess it so easily just by looking at her. Then again, while it could be open to many men, women, at least ones like her and Anya, suggested to hold to the form of fighting they did. Then again, she hadn't met any women fighters other than Anya and Lura, the latter who was still learning as much as she was.
When Anya took her stance, Luxeria mirrored the her. She had no experience when it came to unarmed combat, much less combat in general, so she went with what she saw and felt right. Despite how clear Anya's words were, she came to find out quick, knowing and doing were two different things. Her mind had not yet grasped the feelings of the movements. When Anya came in to attack, she began to flow letting her body tilt slightly to her left. It was easy enough to dodge the attack, but she was suddenly locked when the kick came. Her flowing nature became rigid as she stopped and ducked in an ugly and inexperienced fashion. She came up after the kick, only to be met by the second kick. Her arms came up to lessen the blow as it made contact and caused her to fall to the ground.
There was no pain, as she had come to realize there was no strength really applied to her attacks. All Anya was doing was getting her mind to adapt to the concept of battle before taking up the speed and strength to an actual level of a fight.

Anya only paused on her attack for a moment, getting stable footing again after the two kicks before kicking at Luxeria who was still one the ground. She was, indeed, holding back her strength and speed in order to help Luxeria get a grasp of it. However, she doubted they'd be here very long, nor would they keep training her. Whatever knowledge they were bestowing to her now would be something she'd have to work on with others to get where she needed to be. For Anya, it had been years of training and she was capable of understanding things at a faster pace than most. No doubt it'd be the same for Luxeria.

Luxeria was given too much time in that brief second to gather herself. Anya may have simply wanted her to dodge, but the patience for it wasn't there. And without a strict teacher to keep her following a certain method, she'd follow her own approach.
From her place on the ground, she brought her left hand up to stop the kick. When it hit her hand, her arm gave a little under the impact before putting a grip on it so Anya couldn't pull it back. From where she was knelt she pulled up on Anya's leg as she put her weight on her left and swung around with her right to take her opponent's leg out from under her and bring her to the ground.
Anya may have been taking things slow and easy to help her adjust, but Luxeria didn't have the patience for it. The girl was beautiful and held power, and to Luxeria, that was something that shouldn't be. Just like with Lura, a slow hate began to form for Anya and through it, a desire to bring her down. This desire caused her to bring a more realistic approach to the fight, no longer letting it be a simple spar.

Anya fell on her back as Luxeria swept her feet out from under her. Quickly, she rolled backwards until she was on her knees. She then looked up at Luxeria. Slowly, a little rivalry was forming between them. She had felt the force of the sweep, noting that things were quickly turning for a small spar to a full training bout. The darkness inside her stirred with excitement at getting a little action in with someone who might be capable of staying on equal grounds. She knew little of what Luxeria knew, but was eager to find out.
Time was short, so following the training path Gavin lead her on wouldn't be ideal. As long as the knowledge was placed inside her head, that was all that could truly be done. For know, all that was left was to engage in this battle until Gavin was ready. Giving a smirk, Anya stood to her feet quickly before jumping at Luxeria, bringing her right foot around in a kick, this time at full strength, ready for a real fight.

Luxeria was quickly up as Anya jumped her way. She ducked under the kick as it flew just above her. Coming up, she brought her left hand out in a punch. She could feel Anya's sudden interest and excitement. She even felt the stir of the darkness inside her. Things were about to get real, leaving only one victor. Luxeria planned for it to be her.

As Anya landed and brought her right arm up to blocked the coming punch. When it hit her arm, she let it hold there for a moment before pushing it outward. Whatever barriers she set up to keep herself from jumping into battles so quickly had faded and she was ready to let loose.
It was thirty minutes later as the two girls kept at it. Luxeria had proved that she did have some skills hidden away that showed themselves when letting the darkness flow in her. Anya's own darkness had surfaced, changing her eyes like the Sith, blood red with the yellow circle on the inside and outside of her iris. Force powers were being thrown around as well, doing whatever they could to bring the other down. Each minute that passed turned the spar from a lesson to a fuel fight that might have ended with someone really getting hurt. Anya didn't mind, though. It was how her training session with Gavin had always been. It was there she truly learned.
Leaning back under a kick from Luxeria, she came up and brought her right fist towards Luxeria's face, her strength now being amplified by the Force.

As the minutes passed, Luxeria felt herself being pushed. Her darkness was building and growing from her dislike of Anya. But even so, it seemed Anya's connection was greater than her own as well. This frustrated her more, causing her to let loose on what Force abilities she knew. With a kick she hoped to take Anya down, yet watched as she leaned back out of the way. She had enough time to brace herself and get a hand up to absorb the impact, yet being strengthened with the Force caused her to fall back. She rolled back to her knees and looked to Anya, seeing her eyes, her own also a blood red.
What she noticed was that while her reserves were dropping with each attack, Anya's kept changing. Every time it felt like it was dropping, it grow again. She had to know how she was able to keep such strength in the Force.
"How? How can you still have that much power even after this fight?" Her words fell out of her seductive nature, expressing irritation and frustration.

When Luxeria fell back, she smirked, knowing her opponent didn't have much more. When she asked about her Force reserves, she stood straight and held up her right wrist so she could see. There rested a gold bangle, while decorated with multiple gems, the big green one in the center held the answer.
"A Dantari crystal from the crystal caves of Dantooine. These crystals allow a Force user to replenish their reserves faster than normal, even using the chaotic energy of combat. It doesn't mean I'll ever run out. If my power gets pushed that far, it will disappear. It just means I'll get my power back much faster than my opponent."

Luxeria stood to her feet, letting her guard fall. Her interest had been redirected towards Anya's bangle, thus bringing their fight to an end. So the power in the crystals that existed around the galaxy upon the many worlds held different powers. She was sure it wasn't the case for all gems, but she had been reading up on lightsaber construction and knew of there were multiple crystals out there. This particular one proved most useful. She would have to make a visit to these caves on Dantooine and acquire one for herself. She didn't express this thought, though, as she simple nodded.
"I see. Quite the useful trinket, isn't it?"

*The break the girls had came at the right moment as Gavin finished his meditation. He stood to his feet and approached Luxeria.*
"You wish to be able to descend into the deepest darkness and seek to control it. Such darkness can be obtained through the darkest evil, which you are not, or experiences that drive us into the darkest emotions, which you do not have. So to aid you with that, I shall place in you all the memories of my life, the greatest which will illuminate to true darkness of the countering memory. Once placed in your mind, you will feel every memory and emotion tied to it as if it is your own. Are you ready to face such a thing?"

She looked at Gavin with a questioning expression. He was going to place his memories and emotions in her mind? She wasn't sure if she wanted that. To look back on a person's life like that. Not only that, she didn't feel like he would have anything worth giving her to help.
But if he did, it could let her use the darkness to a much greater extent. That thought alone was all she needed. She would take the risk needed to gain that power. She stepped forward and nodded, ready to undergo any trial, any risk for what she desired. Still, she didn't think she'd gain anything substantial from it.

*Gavin nodded as he stepped forward and put and hand on each side of her head.* "Open your mind."
*When he felt the restraints around her mind fall, his eyes changed, becoming a solid black with a silver iris. This took focus and power ti perform correctly. One wrong move and it could damage her mind. Image after image, memory after memory, and emotion after emotion transferred from his mind to hers. The joyful times as a child with his family only to watch them die, the same with his adoptive parents. Betrayal by his master, the times with friends, his time getting married and birth of his children. Soon behind were the darker memories of their deaths, same with his lovers. The battles, the darkness taking over, the death he caused of innocents. In happened in a few mere seconds, but he was certain it seemed longer to her. When the transfer was finished, he lowered his hands and stepped back, holding back heavy breaths and the strain it took on him.*

The images poured through her mind like a flood. Yet she was able to make out enough details to understand what they were. Each memory that passed into her, she felt the sudden surge of emotion. Bit by bit, every time she thought she had seen the last, more kept coming. How can a man who seemed to be so young have so many memories, have faced such dark times. It began to hurt, as if her mind was starting to burn, unable to handle the exchange. Just when she was though her mind was about to break, it suddenly stop and the connection faded. She fell to her knees, gasping for breath. Sweat began to pour from her face, mixing with the sudden flow of tears. Her eyes had turned blood red as they did when she was able to fully immerse herself in the darkness. So much darkness, so much, sadness and loss, so much anger. It made her wonder how he was still standing like he was. She could only look to him barely before passing out.

*Gavin watched as she fell and passed out. It was expected with so much flowing into her mind. But it was done and she was alive. The question now was did her mind handle it and keep her intact. The only way to know was to wait until she woke. Of course, that would be a few hours. By then, Anya would be gone with only him here.*

The hours passed on as the images continued to flash in her mind. Bit by bit they slowly faded until they finally stopped. It was at that time she woke. She grunted as her body seemed to suddenly ache. She looked around to see Gavin sitting on a rock nearby. She didn't notice Anya any where but did notice that the day's light was beginning to fade. She had no idea how long she had been out but it was clearly awhile. Slowly she tried pushing herself to a sitting position as her head started to throb. Her hand moved to her head as she took a few breaths in hopes to lessen the pain.
Looking back at Gavin, her gaze quickly dropped. She had completely underestimated what he had experienced. A mistake she would ensure she never made again. Taking a final deep breath she looked back to him with curious eyes. "How is it someone as young as you has seen so many things like that?"

*Gavin chuckled lightly, though didn't turn his gaze to her.* "Don't let my looks fool you. I'm far older than you can imagine."
*He then stood up and walked over to her and looked down at her.* "I have given you my memories. Use them well if you truly wish to control the deepest darkness. The memories are contained inside a barrier that you can enter and sort through the memories at your leisure. However, each time you do, the barrier weakens. If it fades before you've at least coped, they may just overrun your mind and break you. I would also advise against any searching your mind. They can access them as well and they will weaken the barrier as well. So I'd suggest long periods of mediation for each memory to avoid that." *He sighed and gave a nod.* "I've done what I can for you. The rest you will have to work at on your own. Farewell."
*Without another word, he was gone.*

Luxeria looked up to him as he spoke, taking in the little details she'd need to know about what happened. While that information was little to nothing, he did give her a warning about the barrier he placed around those memories. She guessed she should be thankful for it. She ensure that her time was well spent trying to cope with the memories and trying to control them and reflect upon them freely. Until then, great care would have to be taken around Andor and the other master.
She blinked for a moment and then he seemed to just disappear. She looked around for him but he was nowhere to be seen. He couldn't have just vanished, though, unless that was an ability. No, the time she took to blink must have been longer than she thought. Her head still hadn't fully settled yet. Still, she stood to her feet and could see the lights of the Estate not too far away. Seeming to forget about the speeder she took, she began her walk back to the hangar of the Estate.
