Having found little in the way of an opposing force, the three ships pass the information on to their employers, and continue to follow their prescribed schedule. The ships turn and move to the Perlemian trade route and plot a jump to the outer rim. A week after their uncontested arrival, the RSM task force leaves the Coruscant system. having documented its current vulnerability, their task here was done.

Captain Nek Bwau'tu stroked his facial hair absentmindedly. The Bothan was a rising star within the Republic Navy, a brilliant tactician. However this was his first command of a vessel. He was nervous, yet exhilerated at the prospect of the secret mission.
A bridge officer, a Quarren approached and spoke through his tentacles "Sir... The shuttle has docked in our hangar bay, we are prepared to depart."
Nek turned to face his subordinate and saluted. "Thank you." Nek then returned to gazing out the viewport, as he stared into the vastness of space his commanding voice carried hsi orders across the bridge. "Recall all fighters, seal the bulkheads and prepare for hyperspace. Navigation do we have our jump plotted?"
"Yes sir." Declared a navigation officer.
"Excellent. Helm you have permission to disengage us from the rest of the fleet, full speed towards the hyperspace lanes." With his orders accompanying the bridge crew's time, Nek stalked forward toward the viewport where the heavy, reinforced glass gave back a small reflect. He leaned closer and began to inspect his uniform and facial hair, smoothing it down in preparation for the meeting with the jedi knights...
The 6 jedi knights once again found themselves ass to ankles within the small officer's turbolift that was transporting them to the bridge.
"Well here we are again... Seems like everytime we get crammed into a turbolift we have an uncomfrotable meeting... First with the council, then with Roblio's little get together..." Said Alaric dryly which illicited some chuckles from Kao and Fayian. Meela didn't even acknowledge it and Roblio frowned in response. Jason looked as if he were going to say something but just as he was drawing his breath the Turbolift abruptly stopped and the door slid open revealing the Cruiser's bridge.
"Jedi on deck!" Barked the armored Republic Trooper posted outside the turbolift. All heads turn towards the turbolift, though the jedi were expected they still created a stir upon the bridge as the 6 knights walked down the center isle towards Captain Nek. The jedi were relieved to feel an aura of respect and reverence coming from the bridge crew, no doubt Roblio felt more at home here surrounded by those who would not question their purpose or mission. Still, it was Alaric's experience that ground troops, grunts, and low ranking officers were the most truthful, most honest and most opinionated as they were not hampered by military politics or ass kissing...
Nek was able to view the approach of the jedi by the reflection produced by the viewport. He waited till they were about 6 feet away then turned and bowed respectfully. After the jedi had returned it Nek began to speak. "Welcome to The Defiant master jedis. It is an honor to have you aboard and a greater honor still to be chosen to assist you in your... mission..."
"Thank you Captain." Said Roblio, taking control and asserting that he would be speaking for the jedi. "We are placing our faith in you, your crew and the Republic to get us there safely... I hope we have a plan for infiltrating sith space?"
"Yes of course, the Jedi Council made several inquiries into their archives for us and found lesser known hyperspace routes that will hopefully skirt the sith defenses... However as we approach the system itself we will need to approach via sublight engines and that is where the danger will be most prevelent. The Council has ordered the addition of stasis pods aboard the ship that we will have to enter and be put into stasis while the ship passes through the system. Naval Intelligence and the council agreed that by putting us in stasis and shutting the ship down, and having it glide towards Malachor it will be able to bypass any sith ships or installations as we will not appear on their scanners."
Meela finally spoke and Alaric admitted that her words did not inspire faith in the council... "Thank you captain. It appears you know more about this mission than we do ourselves."
Captain Nek looked surprised and he immediately touched his goatee. Alaric saw this an immediately pinned it as a nervous tick. Intervening, Alaric changed the subject "Captain, if we are all in stasis who will be piloting the ship when we reach the planet and who will wake us up?"
"An excellent question master jedi and fortunately I have the answer. We are using a special low energy computer program, a VI that will operate at low power, low enough to escpae most sensors... When it determines we have reached Malachor it will jumpstart the ship reboot and the ship's systems will deactivate our stasis pods."
"Sir, we have cleared the fleet and the gravitational field and are prepared for lightspeed." Said an unnamed officer.
The Jedi took that as their cue to leave. They would retire to their quarters and meditate upon the mission and what they had just learned. "Thank you Captain, we will retire to our cabins, if you need us, you know where to find us." Said Fayain in her soft and melodious voice. As one the jedi bowed and returned to the tubolift.
Captain Nek watched them go, curious. However he would let the jedi deal with the unknowns, his mission was transportation.
3... 2... 1...
The Bothan twirled his facial hair between his fingers and looked out the viewscreen as the stars became streaks of light... The ship gave a small sudder as it jumped to hyperspace...

The hyperroute to Coruscant from Kilia IV had been as straightforward as one could have hoped for. Although the Kilia system is a frontier world, traveling from Wild Space to the Core is not as difficult as it seems. And who cares, anyways? We have navicomputers these days. It isn't as though we are exploring someplace uncharted. All knowledge is available to us.
In line with what you might expect, Lapay no Aire and I had been in silent meditation for the duration of our voyage. The purpose of our visit had not been lost on me: to discover the secrets of Dimension Shift. And, if you recall, after Aire had finished the construction of her lightfoil, and named it, and shown me the combination of that with her shield gauntlet, this was when I decided that we would travel here instead of returning to the planet Rattatak. Here, why? Because there is the resource of the Jedi Archives. They no longer hold the distinction they once did (that is, of being the most complete repository for knowledge and research information) but they are likewise not to be discounted in their utility when beginning a search such as this.
I rouse myself from my trance as the planet looms ever closer to my ship, the Star Wing "Yama". Finding it appropriate enough at this time, I prepare to send a comm for the usual purposes to Coruscant ground control. "...we send enough of these landing requests, it would really make a lot of sense to have a pre-recorded message that we can just press the button to send...ah, yes, here we go."
:: Yama ship to ground control, requesting permission to land in sector seven, closest available vicinity to the Jedi Temple would be appreciated, over. ::
"...well, actually, if it were an automated message, then maybe I couldn't request permission to land at a specific place, I guess. Some things are maybe best left to the sentients..."
Awaiting the reply, I slipped back into deep thought, contemplating the nature of our visit and anticipating the reception. Ground control can't tell, but the Jedi will be able to discern exactly what I am. And given that, I don't think that they will be all too welcoming. Still, welcoming or not, I will get what I am after. As if they could even hope to threaten a god like me.

Intentions to leave Coruscant aside, I am pleased to finally be reentering orbit over Coruscant. Aire has, so far, refused to speak a word of our destination, and I will admit that I have been altogether too excited to learn where it is that we will find our clues regarding Dimension Shift. How strange! How strange indeed, because using Dimension Shift was really her idea to begin with...but, like a Mon Calamari to water, I have taken to the idea swimmingly. She was just so, so right about it. And indeed, once given a direction in which to head, I am single-minded in determination to accomplish the goal.
How strange it is, though, that in spite of my determination to encounter news of my father from what seems like ages ago, I never did find any leads to that end. And then I ran into something that made me abandon that set of goals entirely. I wonder if history will repeat itself in this case, too.
"So, Aire, just what breakthrough did you come to while we were sweeping the Archives for information? Where is it that we will find the secret to Dimension Shift?"
"..."
She did not speak, but instead took hold of the navigational control panel and charted a course. I took note, and tilted my head with some surprise to see where we were off to. The Yama's autopilot took over with the press of a button, and Aire reclined her seat in order to get comfortable for the long hyperspace journey ahead of us. I followed suit.
Turns out that it will be a good thing, for where we are headed, that I took the time to waterproof Freedom. And I think that our destination will occupy a bit more of our time than what was spent on Coruscant. I should hope so, actually. I've never gotten cloned before, maybe as we hit planetside I'll pay nicely to have that done.
After its escape from Coruscant's boring gravity well, the Yama orients itself and in no time whatsoever has made the jump to hyperspace.

The Modified EF76 Nebulon-B escort frigate "Red Star" drops from hyperspace and activates it's sensor mask, while moving to the dark side of the planet. A single Grek-class shuttle is launched and descends to Galactic City.

The shuttle returns to the "Red Star" and the ship jumps into hyperspace.

*Allthough the fleet entered in battle fomation, it did not charge weapons, only shields.
Centurion I-III and Prefex I-III were the picket line, in horisontal lines by three, about two kilometers between each ship and each line, as a wall. Behind them were the four Victory I-s in the same fasion.
The Crete was randomly flying around amongs the ships, sensor jamming itself.
The fleet jumped out from the Hyperspace route leading to Caamas, the same way as any other homecoming fleet would do, outside the gravity well, but not too far away to not seem scared of anything. ANd most importantly, it had all the markings and IFF information of The House of Khar. His Holyness himself was onboard the Ceasar, sitting in his impressive Command Throne, watching the screens in the bridge. His Admiral, standing lower on the literal bridge that went ower the miriad of officers slaving over consoles, Admiral Telli Savalas looked at his Lord.*
-Telli Savalas- "Sir, Should we hail them?"
"No need Admiral, I am sure they are curious to what we are doing here... and I rather talk to someone in charge then a rookie trying to wade through his handbook."

A Twintail ascended from the atmosphere, and broke through low orbit, and shortly, winked away into lightspeed.

An automated message came to the fleet. Welcome to Coruscant. Your arrival is very important to us. Please remain in high orbit. For Huttese, press two. If this is an emergency, please dial nine one one. If you need to speak to an operator, press zero. All others please hold. Welcome to Coruscant. Your arrival is very important to us...
The message began to repeat.

*The bridge fell deadly silent as the messsage went on for a minute, a very long, very painfull minute. The Admiral broke said sixty seconds.*
-Admiral Telli Savalas- "Sir? Should we... add a reply?"
"No need. They are just buying themselves time to react. I dont really think they ever saw this fleet without weapons charged."
*The Admiral smiled. Twice have they came together here to conquer and twice have they succeeded. Seeing this message, the Republic was shitting its pants for a third time.*

The controller in station 84g5-755N walked back into the room. He had quite literally been crapping. Worse, he had not washed his hands. The Ugnaught checked the computer. For the most part, people were requesting standard landing patterns, and the computer was granting them. A few required special clearance, which he quickly began filing off. Then the computer brought up a group of ships which came in together.
Unidentified ships, please identify yourselves, location of origin, and reason for visit.
After muting the mic, the obese creature began munching on cheesy poofs once more.

"Patch me through, Admiral."
This is Seleevan Khar. If you run our ship IFF in the database, you will know this is the House of Khar fleet, better known as Strike Force NEMESIS TRITON. Our origin is Vortex, and our reason is twicefold. The Mandalorian war is one, and also, Vortex and Prakith wishes to join the republic. I would suggest you hurry, I have thousands of refugees on my ships needing space, medical attention and food. My resources are dwindling as it is.
This conversation is recorded, your stalling may cause unnecessery deaths. If you like your job, you will get the highest official you can find and get out of my way. You have stalled enough.

The controller of Station 84g5-755N was not in fact, stalling. He was, in fact, a slovenly idiot. While he began searching for a manual to tell him what to do, the only reply received by the fleet for over a minute was Uhhh...
Finally, the Ugnaught selected a beacon, one he didn't really have the clearance to authorize. It was the Senate Hangars.

*Seleevan rolled his eyes and shook his head. He saw the beacon lit up on his displays, and would have frowned, if he did not have a bloody beak.*
Son... just dispatch my call to someone in the senate. Anyone really.
*If he just went down and knocked on the senate door, he would be at a grave disadvantage. He wanted natural ground. He also wanted them to know he was coming.*

The call was redirected again and again, but finally, a first level diplomat answered, and after a few moments' consideration, sent an initial response.
Greetings Mr. Khar, this is Kerrick Brie with the Galactic Republic Foreign Ministry. Thank you for holding. It is my job to arrange meetings such as the one you have requested, but first, I need some more information from you. Who do you represent, and why would your information interest the Republic?

I represent myself, and my people the Vor Race, and Vortex as a whole. And weather the information is usefull, it is allways up to you. It is my hopes that I am not knocking on the wrong door with it.
I also represent the survivors of Prakith, whom are crammed into my holds needing medical and consumables supplies, because my own stores are dwindling. If I cant unload them soon, rioting might start, and I never had a mutiny on my ships, and will never have one.
That last was meant as a mild threat. But sel spoke the truth. His crews were down on half rations to feed the civilians, and even if the crew was loyal, the civilians were a risk. Seleevan would always choose his crew over anything else. He has demonstrated that several times before.
To give you the short version, I have information on The Sith Empire, The Order of the Eye, The Imperial Remnant and the cause of the Mandalorian war.

The YT-1000 exited hyperspace in Coruscant's orbit. Kashk nosed the ship toward the planet and began his descent.

It sounds like our first order of business should be the refuges, eh? ... How many refugees are we talking about, ... and how long will your supplies last? I will ... search here for a suitable refugee colony. That way, we can get them fed and provide medical relief first ... then discuss the politics afterward. He understood the veiled threat, but there was clear Republic policy for dealing with such situations. Refugees could not be allowed to serve as hostages, so they would be taken care of first, then the real discussions could begin. As for the refugees themselves, they would be cared for right away, but it might be months before the bureaucracy decided their ultimate fate.

There was a moments paus, as if someone was checking reports on consumables. Sel did check. Had consumables for about 3 weeks in truth, he set half rations just to hasten byrocracy.
I can go on half rations for five more days, but then, I would have to cut civilian rations to feed my crews. I do not want to get into that situation, these people were rescued from a warzone, and are armed.
True, officers of the militia and military were armed with sidearms, and sel didnt rule out people smuggling arms onboard for safety.
I chose the Republic for a reason, mr Brie. The reason is huge, but if my crew becomes in danger, I will have to choose a military decision I do not wish. I would more like to have the Prakithians in some kind of refugee camp on Coruscant, and repopulate them somewhere safe later, when we HAVE the time. Look, these people just lost their homes, some are sick from chemical warfare, some are just plain sick from the sheer destruction of their world. They need help, and they need it now. I cant give it to them, and the only people I can trust to actually do so, is the Republic.
Whatever history we have between us, forget it for the sake for the last of Prakiths people. Get them off my ships, and to a better future.
Their numbers range from fifteen thausand sixhundred and eight hundred. Headcount is not complete yet, we... didnt have the time to finnish while we were shot at.
And get me that table, the senator and the jedi. The sooner I am done with that talk, I feel better.
