NPC: Betsy looked up from her holoshows to be greeted by the sight of four armed beings entering the reception area, followed by a Chiss woman who had motioned for the armored men to stay back as she continued forward. A Chiss? It had been years since she'd seen a Chiss. This should be interesting, she thought to herself. Raising an eyebrow behind her reading glasses, Betsy looked the Chiss up and down with a genuine smile as the blue woman spoke. Nodding in understanding, she spoke.
"She's in a meeting right now, but if you're willing to wait a few more moments I'll let her know Master Morviael sent you to speak with her."

About thirty minutes later, Ice messaged Betsy to let her know that the meeting with the mystery men was done. Betsy, in turn, informed Ice that Master Morviael had sent someone to speak with her. After a couple of more minutes, Betsy stood up from the desk and walked over, with a smile, to the Chiss woman sitting not far away in the waiting room.
"Ma'am....Ice will see you now. Her office is down the hallway, take a right, then another right, then a left. You can't miss it, and there's signs to help you along your way...."

Rebecca nodded to the receptionist, before motioning for her guards to remain behind as she got up from her seat and made her way from the waiting room, down the hall, before taking a left, then a right, then another left on her way towards Ice's office

In the middle of trying to swallow her nervousness, Viinaara Ja padded into the reception area with a bag slung over her shoulders. It might have been a little preemptive of her to come into an interview toting what few belongings she had; but she hope the bag came off as a slightly ridiculous travelling accessory. After all, on the many planets she'd visited, she'd seen tourists carrying far worse. Too, she was still wearing her gun belt, complete with Bowie knife and her holstered DL-44 blasting pistol. Though, she was wearing her weapons out of a sense of instinct rather than defensiveness. It was naive for anyone to go out and about these days without some form of self-defense, and these were hers.
Looking around, the Torguta noted that the reception area was pretty quiet. As it was still morning, she wasn't all that surprised. Reaching up to idly play with one of her lekku, she finally stepped up to the desk and began, "Ah, I'm here to see someone about an interview. I think her name was... Mercotti? I think she's expecting me. My name's Vinaara Ja."

Betsy looked up from the small pile of datapads, that held patients files, to see a Togrutan woman standing in front of the desk. Raising an eyebrow, Betsy pursed her lips and listen to the woman speak. The woman had a bag slung over a shoulder and was wearing a gun belt that held a blaster pistol and a rather large knife. While it wasn't unusual for someone to show up in the med center with weapons, security personnel would keep an eye on her nonetheless. However, they wouldn't confront her unless she showed aggression toward the staff or themselves.
When the Togrutan stated her purpose for being in the RDMC, Betsy smiled pleasantly and listened before commenting.
"Well Ms. Ja....if you'll have a seat over there in the waiting room, I'll page Dr. Mercotti and let her know you're here for your interview." Betsy smiled at the woman again picking up a small mic as she did so, and sent out a hospital wide page for Dr. Mercotti.

VJ answered the receptionist's smile in kind before nodding at her words and following her instructions.
As familiar as she was with most aspects of the medical field, nothing quite freaked her out more than a waiting room. For the life of her, she couldn't explain the aversion--not even to herself--but there it was. Stiffly, she sat down in one of the chairs on the edge of the waiting room, and made a futile attempt at looking more comfortable than she was. Hopefully, this Dr. Mercotti wouldn't leave her waiting there for very long. While she waited, she examined the room around her and, for the first time, wished that the place was a little busier than it was. Even at the best of times, VJ didn't thrive too well in solitude; now, anxious as she was both because of the looming interview and because of where she was sitting, her hatred of solitude was almost driving her to distraction.
So, desperate, she shut her eyes and squared her shoulders. She wasn't much of a student of meditation, but a little meditative breathing exercise would certainly help her release some of the tension that plagued her. She inhaled slowly; and, with an equally slow exhale, she forcibly cleared her mind. She repeated the process a couple of times and finally found some semblance of the calmness she sought.
Compared to some of the other things she'd survived, sitting in a waiting room and being subject to an interview were nothing.

After a few moments, Betsy received a message from Dr. Mercotti. Standing up from the desk, she walked into the waiting room looking for Vinaara. Coming to a stop a few feet in front of the seated woman, she spoke. "Excuse me, Ms. Ja? Dr. Mercotti will see you now in her office. If you go down this hallway and take a right, then another right, then a left, and it's in the wing with the doctors offices. There's signs in the hallways so you know where you're going."

A young woman in her late 20-s walked into the reception area. She was clad from top to toe in wicked studded leather, she carried a DC-17 interchangable weapon sistem, and a Marines dufflebag. Her left side of the head was shaven clean and three antennas pointed strait out of it. The other side of the head was covered in spikey hair. Her face was pale, was it because lack of sun or extensive use of unconventional medicine, nobody knows. Also, her left eye is red. Clearly a cybernetic enhancement. She was also wearing a toolbelt filled with a large assortment of things needed to build stuff, shoot stuff and cut stuff with a lightsaber.
At least, she acted friendly and smiled at everyone, smoking the last dose of Endorian Endo she had still left. She walked up to the reception desk, threw up her dufflebag and simply cleared out any questions about what the hell she is doing here.
"Hey there chika! I wish to write myself in as a patient. Cybernetic overhaul and narcotics rehabilitation. Name is Syla Ulfsdottir, address is... well, its the Pussy Wagon. My ship. So I guess the adress is your hangar. I kinda got no insurance nor a lot of cash, but Adi is a mate of mine. You know... your prince? I am sure we can work something out man... I am good at security work. Shit, last time I was here I stole like a bunch of... I mean, lets just say your internal security is fun..."

Betsy was just coming out of the small office adjacent to the reception desk when she spied Honoghrs favorite cyberpunk, Syla Ulfsdottir. Setting her fresh cup of caf down on the desk, Betsy smirked a little.
"Sugar....Adi may be your friend, but he's not my Prince. Hell, he hasn't even been around on the planet for the last year or so. He went off rumbling around the galaxy doing Gahd knows what for the Jedi." She waved a hand as if to dismiss the thought of Adi. To be fair, Betsy had no concrete idea what Adi had been up to for the Jedi Order, and she had no idea that he'd been on, or near, that planet that had recently been destroyed. She just knew that he'd been gone for the last year and had only came back once, months ago, and that was for Ice's knighting then he was gone again. She actually kind of liked the man for the most part, but he needed to get his priorities straight. Meeting Sylas eyes again, she resumed her speech. "Now as for your dilemma, we can get you signed in and treatment can begin as soon as you wish. You and your ship will be well cared for. As you might not know, we have a few new doctors now....so who was your main doctor the last time you were here?"
Betsy had already begun looking up Syla's medical information on the holocomputer as she spoke and it seemed like Syla had seen a couple of doctors the last couple of times she was on Honoghr, so she just wanted to get an idea of who Syla preferred to be looking after her during her stay.

"Well, to say the truth, I kinda fiddled a teeny weeny bit with my records the last time I was here... I kinda only needed to get to your medical storage... no offense dear, its the reason I am here kinda."
She said it with an appologetic grin on her pale pierced face. As Betsy got up the information on the screen she would get a couple red flags while reading, and one actual red flag. The Pussy Wagon was registered to a male living on Coruscant, and the ship was reported stolen. The other indications on her records not being clear is that she seemed to have been added as a terminal cancer patient in the last stages of her sickness. Her doctor was signed "Duffy Duck". Large doses of morphene and other drugs had been signed out in the Name of this "Duffy Duck" a couple years ago. She helped fixing the broken communications net a couple years ago and while installing it on the hospital she had put in a back door through witch she could get into the sistem and change minor things like the one above. She wasnt proud of it (allthough it earned her some points in the Hacker community, if they ever found out).
"Look... I dont have anywhere to go. I got no cash, and the people who did my maintence got gone in the mandalorian war. I just want to get clean man... rest a bit."
The grin had worn off her face, and she wasnt that good old Syla with her optimism and swear words. SHe seemed tired, broken and someone who just couldnt hold up the façade any more. She really couldnt go anywhere else. The yavin guys were gone, and she was pretty sure nobody else gave handouts. She could only hope that Adis influence would get her treatment. As for Adi, she saw him two weaks ago. She didnt know if she should say it, because the man was a sponge for trouble. When she saw him last he was broken, torn and lacarated, being rushed off by an emergency medical team. Her hands were soaking with her friends blood, and she was still not sure if he would live. Yeah. She was tired. A war veteran without credits, a place to stay, just a weapon, a stolen vehicle and a monkey on her back, and she pleaded for help.

Betsy frowned a little when she saw Syla's medical records and suspected they'd been hacked, and now knew they had been, thanks to Syla's own admission. And though while the ship wasn't the one she had normally been known to use, Betsy let that slide too. So instead of calling the young woman on what she read on the holoscreen, she just simply leveled her gaze at Syla.
"Sweetie, let me tell you something....we don't turn nobody away just because they can't pay. Hells bells, we've even treated darksiders in this hospital. You need help and we'll help you. It makes no difference if you can pay or not. I figured you would've known that by now.
Betsy eyed the bedraggled female in front of her and felt a spark of sympathy for the young woman. When she spoke again her voice had softened with a bit of sympathy.
"We'll get you fixed up good as new in no time, Syla. Meanwhile, let's just get you signed in and find a room for you. I'll contact the docs that were here the last time you were and they can handle the detoxing....and I'll let the cybernetics lab know you need upgrades. What do you say?"

"Eh... sure? What do I sign? And do you guys have the wheelchair policy for patience? Whats the speed limit on those?"
She was allready imagining finding someone to race with in the corridors. Yeah... her mind went from one thing to the other pretty damned fast.
"Well, I would pack my things down and then we can start or... however you guys do things around here. I am not very used to actual hospitals, more like chopshops and the occasional knowledgeable jedi."

Betsy laughed while raising an eyebrow when Syla asked about the speed limit of the wheelchairs."How about we give you your own wheelchair to tinker around with and modify to suit your needs?" She had a feeling Syla would win a lot of wheelchair races around the hallways. She just hoped the cyberpunk didn't injure herself, or anyone else, in the process. Glancing back to the holoscreen, Betsy looked thoughtful for a moment before speaking again."I'll tell you what, Sweetie....I'll get you all signed in, myself, while you go take care of the rest of your things and then you can get settled in one of the patients rooms....then we'll get a doc to come talk with you."

"AWESOME! Lets get this show on the road."
She pulled her dufflebag off the counter, took the info on where her new room was and winked at Betsy, skitting down the hall towards her new temporary home, scarying a couple bystanders to death with her energetic ways and heavy armament.

*Honoghr was a nice place, at least, according to his father and sister. Jake had read about it, learned what he could, of its Jedi and the places upon it. It had had its rough times, but everyone did. For that matter, Honoghr had seemingly come out of its hardships even better than before.
So why was Jake going to Honoghr on his own? Part of it was wanting to see other Jedi worlds, and it wasn't like he wasn't used to being on his own. Well, he didn't really consider living in the Yavin Four Praxeum to be "on his own," but without family, yes. This wouldn't be that much different, his company just... wouldn't be students his own age. Jake had also started to take an interest in healing abilities, partially after the run-in with the rippers in Felucia's jungle and Terra had managed to partially heal his chest with the Force. The fact that the Red Dawn Medical Complex was also managed by Jedi healers certainly helped.
Morgan could have come, he heard about how she'd had her scars smoothed here, and how the doctors and people here were nice, and yet she hadn't come. Dad couldn't come, and he understood that, but Jake was eager enough to want to go that his dad had given him permission to go, even setting up an appointment with the head doctor, Jena—he checked the datapad again—Shaewe. The datapad was also from his father, it had some information about the RDMC itself, along with a map. Very helpful.
The shuttle, piloted by Bix, had made it there safely, and landed in the RDMC's own hangar. Jake bid Bix farewell, the latter offering to help Jake find his way, but Jake assured him somewhat nervously that he had this on his own. After saying goodbye, Jake entered the reception area.
He was alone now, that just hit him. Had to rely on his own wits to guide him. But that would be fine! He was a Jedi! He could do this! He took a deep breath to steady himself, then looked for the receptionist's desk. He approached it, trying to ignore the fact that he was quite short and unable to completely see over it. Yeah, he couldn't. He had to stand on the tips of his toes and partially pull himself up with his fingers just so he could get a look at the receptionist.* Er, excuse me? My name's Jake Palmer Calmcacil, and I was supposed to meet Doctor— *Quick glance at the datapad before pulling himself back up.* Doctor Shaewe? *He hoped this was the right protocol for all this and he wasn't messing something up. Maybe he should've gotten Bix's help after all... No, he could get this. If he relied on adults all the time, he'd never get anywhere.*

Betsy looked up over the rim of her reading glasses when she heard footsteps. Narrowing her eyes, she watched with a smile as the boy came to a stop in front of the desk, pulled himself up on his tip toes, introduced himself then inquired about Dr. Shaewe. Standing up from her chair, Betsy, leaned her elbows on the desk with a friendly grin and a datapad in one hand.
"Jake Calmcacil, eh? Well aren't you just the cutest little thing, and such a young gentleman. So polite. I believe your father, Aerandir, contacted Dr. Shaewe already about your arrival. If you just hold on a moment, I'll message Dr. Shaewe for you. She'll be happy to see that you've found your way here safely." Glancing down to the datapad in front of her, she sent a text based message to Dr. Shaewe to let her know that the younger Calmcacil had arrived safe and sound....

*Cutest little thing ever? Him? Jake wasn't used to such compliments, so he blushed, both due to the compliment and the fact that it kind of sounded more like a compliment suited for younger children... was his small height giving that impression again? Well he wasn't gonna correct her, that would probably just be rude. And besides, if she thought he was cute...
After complimenting his politeness—something Jake knew how to take better and was proud of—the receptionist assured Jake that his father had already contacted Doctor Shaewe, something Jake nodded to to confirm he was aware, then said that she would contact Doctor Shaewe for him, saying that she would be here soon if he'd wait a moment. He smiled.* Okay, thank you! *He let himself down and took a few steps back to give a bow, not that he was sure she could see him, then went to take a seat. He looked around idly for a moment; this was the same reception area where Lokay had begun his hunt for mynocks inside the walls? Jake imagined the little tailring crawling around behind him at the moment, a silly thought that he gave a grin at. Then, while he waited, he decided it would be a good idea to peruse the datapad some more, absorb even more information if he could...*

Jena had been back on Honoghr for a few days now after helping to conduct a medical rescue mission to Kuat during the Mandalorian siege on the KDY and some parts of the planet itself. The mission didn't quite go as planned, but when you're in the middle of a space battle you have to expect the unexpected. The unexpected came in the form of a wayward missile taking out one of the RDMC transport ships and with it nearly 760 lives. 760 lives, including medical personnel and evacuees, added to the death toll from two destroyed planets and the other fallen ones who valiantly fought at Kuat. All needlessly lost because the most recent Mand'alor, and apparently GALSAF also, decided that it would be a good idea to declare war on all Force users. While in the process, they managed to poke a sleeping giant in the form of Sinistra and the Dark Tide....which is never a good idea.
Jena pushed all of those thoughts to the back of her mind while she walked down the hallway to the reception area to meet young Jake Calmcacil. Aerandir had previously contacted her, letting her know of Jakes interest in the healing arts and asked if the boy could come to the RDMC and learn more about it. Jena gladly agreed to help Jake in his quest to become more adept in his healing skills. Upon entering the reception area, she glanced over to Betsy, who pointed over to the waiting room where a young boy was looking over a datapad he held in his hands. Smiling, Jena recognized Jake, and his resemblance to Morgan, from the holopic that Aerandir had sent when he messaged her. Walking over to the boy, she smiled warmly and spoke.
"Jake Calmcacil? How are you today? I'm Dr. Jena Shaewe."

*Jake looked over the documents and maps repeatedly, reading the info, repeating it under his breath to himself. He was so absorbed that he didn't notice anyone else enter the room until he heard the voice addressing him. He looked up suddenly then located the source of the voice, a... rather pretty woman, greeting him by name, asking how he was, and introducing herself as Doctor Shaewe. He'd seen her image, but that had nothing on how she looked in person...
Wait, was he staring? He jumped slightly as he came back to his senses, looking down and to the sides as a bit of red came to his cheek before he donned a silly grin and looked back up at her.* Oh, er, hi! Doctor Shaewe! I'm, oh— *Manners! Manners! Jake put away the datapad and stood, bowing politely to Jena then smiling.* I'm good! ... maybe a little bit hungry. Oh, uh, nice to meet you! *Jake wondered what was next, but he wasn't sure how to ask that without sounding rude or impatient. He'd wait, he was patient. Not that he minded being in the presence of such a beautiful woman— er, nice lady. Yeah, that was it.*
