Zion kept his hand gripped on his side, slipping between conciousness and unconciousness, his world being jolted by pain as he had been dragged by Amber from the Masters Quarters of the Temple down to the Hangar Bay, where she had tripped over and dragged him onto the LAAT gunship. Thankfully when they had arrived to the RDMC one of the pilots had helped Amber move him onto the bed. But even still, he was experiencing excruciating pain from the wound, whilst being mentally shaken up by the revelation that his sisters had just tried to kill him. Did the universe have no mercy on him that even his own flesh and blood would betray him as they had just done. Once again his world had been turned upside down, and he honestly didn't know how much more of this he could hack. Despite everything however, Zion had still managed to fumble with several of his armour and belt clasps and release them, making it easier to remove the armour and his belts, and further more his jacket and shirt so they could get to the stab wound. It was just one of the downsides about wearing so much, it wasn't easy to get off in emergency situations like this, though it wans't every day a knife punctured through armourweave either

Dr. Lyssa Ramaela, who had been paged while Amber was getting Zion into the emergency room, came rushing into the room where Zion had already been placed on a bed. A couple of med droids hovered around the injured man, helping him get his armor off so they could conduct scans of his injuries. Lyssa quickly washed her hands and donned a pair of surgical gloves before turning to Zion and Amber. Seeing the amount of blood loss, she didn't wait for the scans as she stripped off the rest of the armor that Zion had previously loosened. Tossing the armor into the nearest corner out of the way, she then swiftly removed his jacket. Grasping the sides of his shirt with both hands, and a bit of Force usage, she ripped it from his body and tossed it over by the armor. Gently she brushed his hand away from the wound and looked it over. He was still bleeding but not as bad as he apparently was before.
Tisking under her breath, she cleaned the outside of the wound and placed a temporary packing in it to help stop the bleeding then stood back briefly while the med droid took a scan of his right side. Looking up to the holoscreen on the wall, she could see that it didn't appear that there were any major organs or blood vessels/arteries damaged. Luckily, Zion had been drifting in and out of consciousness so it would make her job a little easier getting him patched up. With a small sigh of relief, she gave him an injection of pain killers then unpacked the gauze from the wound and began cleaning the out the inside of it with a sterile solution. Glancing briefly over to Amber as she worked, Lyssa spoke.
"What happened? Who did this to him?"
Oddly, Lyssa felt a little protective toward Zion. She wasn't sure why. Maybe it was because she knew some of the stuff he'd been through in the past, and maybe it was because she knew his own family had ties to the Cinn Ion - to the people that had tried to kill him on more than a few occasions in the last couple of centuries. She hoped this wasn't one of those occasions. If it was that would mean, beyond the shadow of a doubt, what she and Rina had suspected for nearly a year now but couldn't prove - that the Cinn Ion were on the planet....

Amber remained out of the way as Lyssa and the medical droids removed Zions armour and clothing, watching as it landed in the corner, before returning her attention as Lyssa started packing the wound. The woman was well underway in cleaning the wound out when she asked Amber what happened and who was responsible Truth be told, she wasn't exactly sure who was behind it, well, besides of course the two girls who looked and acted very much like Zion's sisters up until the point they stabbed him. But there was a deeper darkness here, one that she suspected Zion had been suspicious of, a suspicion she was sure that Obadiah was confirming right now Amber sighed heavily, unsure of even where to begin or of how to explain what she had only assumed was what Zion was thinking. No doubt Zion would be able to complete this story once this ordeal was over, but for now, she would do her best to explain =Amber Caird= I'm not sure of the specifics, but what I do know, is that two girls who looked and acted like Zion's Sisters arrived with a woman who introduced herself as Zacaiah Traevis. Despite my suspicions of them, and the doubts I can only assume Zion had, we welcomed them to the temple. After we shared dinner, Obadiah and myself offered some entertainment, before Akari... grabbed Zion, and Hikari produced a blade and... stabbed him... Amber started to feel herself cry as she recounted the briefest of details to Lyssa, feeling a dull ache in her heart as she briefly considered the possibility that Zion might not make it through this. She then shook her head, knowing she had to trust in Zion to be strong enough to pull through, and that Lyssa would not let him die =Amber Caird= I'm...ssorry...It's just, I don't know what to think at the moment... They were his sisters, but at the same time they weren't. Obadiah is guarding Zacaiah back at the Temple, so he will be able to confirm this... But I think there was someone else behind this, and Zion had prepared for it... I fear the Cinn Ion found out where Zion was and sent these... imposters to attack him... Please don't let him die Lyssa! Amber couldn't resist the urge, as she grabbed at the shoulder of Lyssa's shirt and broke out in tears. She hung her head a little as she cried, unable to stop herself, her hair falling in a mess around her face Zion had been through a lot in his life, managing to survive the harsh arena of the Marú Games, but this felt different. It wasn't just some crazed Cinn Ion psychopath, or some genetically engineered mutant that had tried to kill Zion, it was his own flesh and blood. It was the only two people in the whole galaxy that Zion had cared more about then anyone else in his life, brought back from the grave, only to serve as secret assassins Amber could feel herself start to shake as she looked up at Lyssa, her tears causing strands of her hair to stick to her face =Amber Caird= What sort of deranged lunatic would do this!

Lyssa listened to Ambers recounting of the incident while she continued to cleanse and patch up the wound on Zions side. After placing a dissolving bacta patch inside the wound, she carefully stitched all the layers together again before laying another bacta patch on the outside over the stitching and securing it in place with a few strips of surgical tape. A thin line furrowed her brow when Amber mentioned Zions sisters, whom Lyssa knew to be dead. And then there was Zacaiah Traevis. Lyssa knew a few members from the House of Traevis. At least one of them resided on Honoghr and helped Zion at the academy. Giving Zion another injection of pain killers, she stripped of the surgical gloves and tossed them into the incinerator slot on the wall. She turned to face Amber when Amber grabbed her shoulder, with tears staining her pretty face, and begged Lyssa to not let Zion die. Gently grasping the younger woman's shoulders with both hands, she pulled her close into a sympathetic embrace and let her cry.
"Zion is not going to die today, jeune. The wound wasn't as bad as it looked. There's still some muscle and tissue damage but the blade didn't hit any major veins, vessels, or organs. He'll be fine, albeit a little sore for a few days and he did lose a little more blood than I'd like, but he'll survive."
Lyssa pulled away a little and rested her hands on Ambers shoulders. She suspected Ambers feelings for Zion went deeper than the young woman would admit out loud, but remained silent on that particular matter for now. Putting a finger under Ambers chin, she gently raised the womans face to meet her gaze.
"Don't worry. Just be there for him. He needs help whether he admits it or not. As for his sisters, I have the distinct feeling they really aren't his original sisters. I'm betting the Cinn Ion are behind this and they're most likely clones of Akari and Hikari. We just need to figure out who sent them...and who Zacaiah is, or was, working for."
Pulling away completely, Lyssa reached over to the bedside tray and grabbed a box of tissues that was sitting there and offered them to Amber with a reassuring look on her face.
"Here you go. Dry your eyes. We'll get to the bottom of this and find out who, exactly, is behind it. We've long suspected the Cinn Ion have had operatives on the planet, but it's been hard to prove with everything else that's been going on. Someone has obviously been keeping tabs on Zions movements, following him from planet to planet."
Looking thoughtful for a moment, Lyssa silently wondered if the Elementis Brothers were behind the attack. What little intel they had on them led Lyssa to believe that the Brothers didn't usually send people to do their dirty work. They were rumored to be more the 'hands on' type. If they targeted someone then the Brothers, themselves, usually carried out the action. If they were somehow behind this, then it added a new dimension to their game plan....or at least a dimension that the Cinndao weren't aware of.

Amber was a little surprised as she felt Lyssa's hands on her shoulders, before she felt herself pulled into a hug, by the other woman. She lowered her face into Lyssa's shoulder as she continued to cry She really had made a mess of things, she was meant to be Zion's servant, able to keep herself seperate from the situation, and yet she felt like some love sick puppy, so afraid to lose Zion that she had let Lyssa know too much. It was wrong of her to feel this way, but yet it felt soo right to do it. Her attention was caught by Lyssa, as the woman explained that Zion would be alright, a fact she took some comfort in Amber met Lyssa's gaze, as she felt her head tilted by the other woman slightly She could sense the conviction Lyssa held, just by the way the woman acted. Lyssa was right, they would get down to the bottom of this, and whoever was responsible for this, would pay dearly. However, the one thing that scared her about this whole situation, was just how real the clones were, and how intact their memories were Amber took some of the offered tissues and wiped away the last of her tears, as she did her best to once again steel her emotions away, knowing that she could not let Zion see her like this. She then ran a hand through her hair and ruffled it a little, so that it wasn't sticking to her face anymore =Amber Caird= Thank you Lyssa. I have no doubt we will get to the bottom of this. Zion will make it something of a personal quest, I am sure of it...

Zion continued to drift in and out of conciousness as Lyssa removed his armour and clothes, before proceeding to patch him up. Thankfully the pain killer's did a fine job of numbing the pain as Lyssa once again patched him up, something he could foresee becoming a bit of a habit. It wasn't that he intended to do it on purpose, it was just that people seemed to have something against him, but he could not imagine why. He caught random snippets of the conversation between Amber and Lyssa, but he wasn't able to process it all in his slight state of delirium caused by the blood loss and pain killers. He did manage to pull out of it to some extent, as he forced himself to sit up and focus his vision. He caught the tail end of Amber's comment, and could pretty quickly tell what the topic of conversation had been as he gripped his side =Zion Morviael= Thanks for patching me up again Lyssa... I do appologise if I have caused you any inconvenience. I do intend to get to the bottom of this, I really did know it was too good to be true that they were still alive... But it felt like them, they knew things that only my sister's should have known... I guess a part of me just really wanted to believe it was them...

A few moments later, a written message would come through to Lyssa and Zion's datapad from Caoimhe, requesting the pair of them come to Tigress' room immediately, as it appeared the Farghul Woman was finally waking up from her Coma

Folding her arms across her chest, Lyssa nodded at Ambers statement while the younger woman dried her eyes. Noticing Zion moving out of the corner of her eye, Lyssa turned toward him as he spoke.
Checking the bandaging, she stood back and entered some information into a datapad she'd pulled out of her lab coat pocket. Looking back to Zion and Amber, she slipped the datapad back into her pocket and spoke. "There's no thanks needed. I'm just happy that you're both still alive. Let's try and keep it that way, okay?" She looked pointedly at both of them with a raised eyebrow before resuming.
We'll help you figure out who's behind this if you'll allow it. As for the clones....a good clone IS hard to distinguish from the original person, especially if it's been flash-trained with their memories and mannerisms. Just from what I've been told now, I suspect that whoever created them went to great lengths to ensure their obedience and was counting on the fact that you'd welcome them with open arms thinking they were the original Hikari and Akari. In a way they are, indeed, your sisters since they were created from Hikari and Akari's DNA. They've just been brainwashed, probably during the flashtraining, to think that you're their enemy...."
She was going to say more but a beep from her datapad, and, Zions also, interrupted her thoughts. Pulling her own datapad from her pocket again, she saw that it was a message from Cammy informing her that Tigress was waking up. Glancing up, she took both of them in her gaze with a small smile.
"Well boys and girls....finally some good news. It seems like Tigress is coming out of her coma. Apparently Cammy's machine isn't a total piece of bantha shit like I originally thought it was. And I will totally deny saying it if either of you tell her I just admitted that."
Lyssa winked at them both with a teasing grin. Her feelings toward Cammy were no secret, but it was becoming apparent that the woman knew what she was talking about when it came to matters of the brain and it's inner workings. It's probably why Alisha and the other administrators, knowing full well of Cammy's Cinn Ion connections - but not holding it against her, were actually giving her chance to prove herself by promoting her to the head of the neurology department after Dr. Ryan Solaris stepped down.

Amber had managed to compose herself, before walking over to Zion's side and standing there as she placed her hand on his shoulder and gave it a gentle squeeze as she turned her attention to Lyssa It was sweet that Lyssa cared about what happened to them, not just because she was a doctor. She had a feeling it was more than just a doctor-patient relathionship, but a bond forged by what ever strange aura Zion had about him that seemed to draw people together. It meant they had another set of eyes watching out for them, which was good considering how much trouble Zion got into She was relieved when Lyssa updated them on Tigress' condition, smiling a little Although she shared no great admiration for Caoimhe, it was a relief to know that she had been able to come through for them. Although she would not openly admit it, she would give the woman points for timing, some good news was well welcomed after what had just transpired. She was sure it would help lift Zion's spirits a bit She then let go of his shoulder and went over to the corner, before gathering up the discarded pieces, piling most of the belts, wrist guards, and the pauldrons into the jacket before tying it up, before slinging it over he back, lazily placing the chest piece over the makeshift bag. Before standing at the ready to help Zion =Amber Caird= Whenever you are ready... Although it looked heavy, everything was quite light considering the metal make up. Besides, she had carried heavier loads in the past, this was nothing for her. She pushed through part of it because it was Zion's gear, and she wanted to stay strong for his sake. The worst thing he could do, would be to sit around and think about what had happened too much, something she did not intend to let him do

Zion smirked as he moved his hand out of the way so Lyssa could check the bandages, before clutching his side again as Lyssa expressed, what he could only assume, was her concern for him. It was a little weird someone being concerned about whether he lived or died again, after all, he had spent about two years on his own without much contact with anyone else. He then felt Amber's hand on his shoulder as she gave it a squeeze, he gave a nod to Lyssa =Zion Morviael= Careful, someone might think you actually care about me... But I'll try my best to stay alive... His mood dropped a little as Lyssa returned to the topic of the clones, stating they would help. By them, Zion assumed she meant her and the other Cinndao working at the RDMC and living on Honoghr. As Lyssa went on, she reiterated some of the concerns he had harboured when he had first met Zacaiah and the clones of Hikari and Akari. Despite all his concerns though, he had still played into their hands, at least for the most part, and now he had a stab wound in his side for his troubles. Although Lyssa was right on a technical level, his sisters had died long ago, chained to a platform and unable to fight back. It was his fault they had been captured when he left them alone, and it was his fault they had died because he had not gotten to them in time. And now, part of them had been brought back, brainwashed to act as assassins, conciously or not. But he would find out who was behind this, whether it be the Cinn Ion, or perhaps the corrupted spirits of his Sisters brought back to this world =Zion Morviael= Your help would be greatly appreciated. I know it's a long shot, but perhaps I can provide you with a sample of blood that you might be able to run through the RDMC Cloning Facilities, perhaps you might find some clues before we do... He sat up a little bit as his and Lyssa's datapads went off, before Lyssa read out the message from Caoimhe, saying that Tigress was waking up. He knew he would be able to fulfil his promise to her, even if it was through a digitised copy of his mind. He felt Amber's hand move from his shoulder as she gathered up his gear, managing to wrap it quite tidely before she offered to help him up. He shuffled to the edge of the bed, before using her shoulder to help leverage himself up onto his feet. Part of him wanted to damn her loyalty and her unfaltering servitude to him, while the rest of him was glad for her company right now. She was the only person left from his past that knew him when he was young, and he knew that she would stay by his side, no matter what happened. He gave a nod to Lyssa =Zion Morviael= We'll meet you there. And I promise to keep your secret... With Amber's help, he made his way out of the ER and through the corridors to the patient room that Tigress was currently being taken care of in. Perhaps Caoimhe wasn't as bad as everyone thought she was, although Tigress was not a Cinndao and thus not directly involved in this conflict. Although Caoimhe might use the recovery as leverage against him, if a situation arose where she needed to do so

Medical staff busied themselves around the hospital bed of a Jane Doe transferred from a hospital on Coruscant. The woman's injuries were severe at best; the fact that she still breathed was miraculous. The Coruscanti staff had tried to remove the strange black armor she wore, to no avail. The mutilation and electrical burns on the woman's right forearm attested to the difficulty and futility of forcibly removing the armor. Blood seeped from slashes in the armor on the abdomen and face. Scans revealed multiple fractures and broken bones, and the report from Coruscant detailed high concentrations of Devaronian blood poison found in her system. The havoc the injuries and poison created had forced the Coruscanti staff to induce a coma in order to keep the woman from going further into shock.
One of the medical technicians retrieved a com-link.
Paging Dr. Shaewe to the ER. Dr. Shaewe to the ER.
Dirty and caked in her own blood, the Jane Doe had resurfaced after a six month absence. Adelle Bastiel had returned.

OOC info: RP continued from HERE....----------------------------------------------------------------------------------Jena, stripping off her lab coat and tossing it on a nearby desk in the corner as she went, entered the ER and rushed over to the table that was holding the new patient. Quickly, she pulled her dark hair up into a ponytail before sanitizing her hands and donning a pair of sterile surgical gloves. A med droid had already brought up the latest scans of the patient, a young woman, on the large holoscreen. Two other med droids were discussing how to get the armor off of her body and Jena while looking at the scans with a critical eye, decided where to start first since the young woman had multiple injuries.
According to the medical files sent from Coruscant with the woman, there was no identification when she was admitted so they didn't know who she was or where she came from and she had been put into an induced coma due to her injuries, shock, and to Devaronian Blood Poisoning. Jena raised an eyebrow at the revelation of the poisoning. There was no known cure for it. It had to be either flushed from the system or left to run it's course - the latter of which could have less that desirable consequences. The woman appeared to be stabilized, for the moment anyway, so that was one thing going in their favor. Sighing, Jena continued studying the body scans and files while directing the med droids and questioning the two medics that had accompanied the woman all the way from Coruscant."One-Three, start a fresh I.V. line and get rid of that old one. Have antibiotics on standby too. One-Seven, go to Dr. Lee's lab and get at least ten more units of blood. Her bloodtype is listed in her files. One-Four, contact the OR units and let them know we'll be bringing someone in within the hour....and page Dr. Ramaela while you're at it. Tell her I need her assistance ASAP.
And you...."She cast a stern look at the medics while she carefully ran her fingers over the armors breathing mask that covered the lower half of the young womans face and neck, and ran all the way back to cover her ears."....why didn't you take her to Selonia, to Five Worlds Medical Center? It's much closer to Coruscant than we are. What doctor ordered that she be brought all the way out to the Outer Rims in her critical condition?"The two medics looked nervously at each other before one began speaking.= Medic 1 ="Dr. Ballard is the one that treated her on Coruscant and had actually planned on sending her to Five Worlds at first, but once the extent of her injuries were revealed along with the poisoning....he decided to get her stabilized enough to send her here, Doctor. He felt that since Five Worlds was undergoing some changes that her best chance was to bring her to the RDMC. She been stable ever since he induced the coma a few days ago. He just couldn't figure out how to get the armor off without inuring her even more. We tried a couple of times to get it off. That's why her right arm is severely injured. We forcibly removed that piece of armor there and that's what happened when we did. It, uhm....sends a shock through her when taken off with force."The medic looked down remorsefully at the thought of causing even more damage to the inured woman, while he finished speaking. Tisking under her breath, Jena shook her head as she ran both hands lightly over the armor covering the young womans body, being especially careful to not tug on any of the loose pieces and sending more shocking waves through the womans unconscious body. She recognized the armor as the 611 combat armor model, albeit a little more modified than the original stock armor. She knew there had to be a release mechanism somewhere, she just had to find it so the armor could be taken off without causing even more damage than what had already been done.
Meeting the gaze of the medic that had spoken, Jena pursed her lips in thought. Dr. Josen Ballard? He's still working out of Coruscant? I thought he would have retired by now considering he was two days older than dirt when I trained there years ago."The medics laughed softly at Jena's comment with the first one confirming that it was indeed Dr. Josen Ballard, then both were silent again. They weren't sure what they should be doing, if anything, since this wasn't their homebase and the doctor hadn't issued them any orders. They opted to stay out of hers and the med droids way and just observe. It was the best thing they could do at the moment unless instructed otherwise.
Jena laid her hands on the edge of the table for a moment, visually studying the young woman from head to toe. She gazed up at the scans again making a mental note of all the visible wounds she could actually see. - Three long gashed on the left side of the womans face, running from her cheek to below the mask, caused by the broken breathing mask. - The mangled right forearm damaged by the armor being forcibly removed. - Electrical burns, also caused by the forced removal of the armor. - And the knuckles of her right hand appeared to be broken. This was going to be interesting. They had no idea who this woman was or how she came to be injured this badly. The scans had revealed that there was extensive injuries underneath the armor, but until they could figure out where the release latch was those wounds would have to go untreated which wasn't a good thing. The longer the armor was in place, the longer it would take to treat all of the young womans many wounds and fractures....and the longer the armor stayed in place the higher risk of complications from the untreated wounds rose. They had to get that damn armor off!

*Jake followed Doctor Shaewe to the Emergency Room, being led to an observation deck that oversaw the actual operating room. Which made a lot of sense, he supposed, it kept others out of the way while they could still view what was happening below, such as family members or trainees or such. He clutched his datapad at the ready for taking any notes, a lot more nervous now for some reason; was it because of the tense situation, or was there some other power at work?
He hadn't been given much of an explanation of the patient or their condition, not too surprising considering Doctor Shaewe had only just been paged to the ER, so he had to rely on what he could hear below, something about blood poisoning among other things. As Jake looked at the patient, he couldn't quite tell who it was from this distance and with her face somewhat obstructed, but he had quite the familiar feeling about her somehow—* No... *And yet it was. He knew this presence anywhere, how could he forget? And yes, he definitely recognized her. He tensed up, eyes wide in shock, not because of her identity, but her situation. The love of his life was in this rough a shape and in a coma?! ... he grimaced and glanced back and forth, even though he was sure no one would notice, but this was suddenly even more dire. Did the doctors know who it was? She'd been transferred from Coruscant apparently, because the medics there couldn't treat her as well as Honoghr's could, or didn't have the resources. And the medics here had already discovered that removing the armor was more complex than it appeared.
Jake bit his lip, looking around. There was a comm unit, where he could communicate with the doctors. Should he say something? Say that he knew her? Maybe... Gulping, he activated the comm and spoke steadily as he could.* D-Doctor Shaewe? I know her... her name's Kory— Er, Adelle... B-Bastion, I think? I don't remember her last name well... But she's a friend, and— *He was getting too long-winded and probably distracting, and now was not the best time for a full explanation; that could wait. Swallowing, he nodded and made his conclusion.* ... please make her better. *Despite his feelings toward Kory, he said this for Morgan's sake, not his. How would she react if she saw Kory like this? Probably a lot less calm; she saw the woman as a mother, after all. He released the comm unit and carefully sat down in a provided seat, though didn't lose track of the proceedings. This was going to be even more difficult than he realized; now he understood the sudden nervousness. He almost wished he could help somehow, but no, Kory needed the best treatment she could get at the moment...*

Dr. Lyssa Ramaela entered the ER just in time to hear the voice of a young boy over the comm system. Glancing up to the observation room with a raised eyebrow, she continued walking across the room until she came to the table where the unconscious young woman lay. Having already gone through the process of washing her hands and putting on a fresh pair of sterile surgical gloves she looked across the table to Jena and spoke in a hushed tone.
"I assume the boy is talking about her. What the hell happened to her?" Leaning over the table, Lyssa began to assess the visible injuries, which were bad enough, Gahd only knew what kind of damage lay under the mangled armor. Gazing up at the holoscreen, she saw that the scans revealed multiple injuries underneath the metal plates along with the added bonus of Devaronian Blood Poisoning. Clicking her tongue, she began to carefully run her hands over the right side of the armor from head to toe, while Jena did the same on the left.
Jena had warned her of the armors capability to send a shock through the young womans body if they tampered with it too much. Clenching her jaw, she nodded her head at the warning and proceeded with great caution. She, like Jena, was familiar with the 611 combat armor and knew there had to be a release switch on it somewhere, though this particular armor looked to be modified from the original version. Working her way gingerly down the armor on Adelle's body, or she thought that's what the boy had said the womans name was anyway, Lyssa knew that once they got the armor off that there could be a whole new set of problems - especially if the tight armor was inadvertently assisting in keeping some of the wounds from bleeding out.
Pausing momentarily, she cast a glance up to the monitors to make sure Adelle was still in a stable condition before she motioned a med droid over to assist her and Jena in barrel rolling the woman slightly to her left side. This position raised the right side of Adelle's body about two inches, enough for Lyssa to slide her left hand under the womans body to her back. Carefully running her fingertips over Adelles back, starting at the base of her spine, Lyssa was searching for any tiny flaws in the armor.
Narrowing her eyes, and going by touch alone, she concentrated on the texture of the back of the armor - every inch, crack, curve, and/or crevice of the metal was inspected. Finally, after what seemed like hours but had only been about 10 or 15 minutes, she had worked her way up between the young womans shoulder blades and felt what she had been looking for. There was a small indenture, about a half an inch in diameter. With her forefinger never leaving that spot, she looked up and met Jena's gaze.
"Jena, I think I found it....the release button...."

*Lavi walked in behind Jena and moved to the area she was told to go. She did not want to be in there way. She just didn't want to be left in the office alone. The young Sky'tri woman sits stands in the area that Jena had instructed her to go to see what was going on. She held her elbows, pulling her arms tight to her chest as she watched, it seemed odd to her so many machines tending to the woman.*

Continued from here...Thankfuly, a fair amount of work was already done on the man. The clothes that had been burned and fused to the man's skin was carefully removed, and initial bacta applications had been given to help with the healing process. Quick bioscans showed that this man was of a fast healing Near-Human race, which contributed to his ability to survive what would have been fatal for most people. Additionally, there were signs of other things done to him to help with his healing, but it didn't look natural. More like something that might have come from a Jedi. She'd been around the RDMC long enough to know Jedi work, or healings akin to it.
She was nervous, for multiple reasons. For one, Jemima, while qualified to be a doctor, was a biologist and researcher first. It was why she got the position of assistant researcher rather than doctor. Secondly, since there was no doctor that was attending at the immediate moment, and though most of the medical staff knew her, she was suddenly it. A doctor, for a man with injuries that read off like a surgeon's nightmare...except this nightmare was a reality. The nurses were swiftly readying the man for emergency rescue, seeing as his condition was spiking up into a critical condition once more. "We need to get him stabilized." She said for no important reason. Everyone knew what he needed. But perhaps she said it more for herself than anything else."Nurse..." she instructed the nearest one to her, and began to operate on him. She worked as fast as she could, and kept an eye on his monitors. There was no time to wait for the "real" doctors, she had to do her best.
She had no idea of the amount of time that passed, only saving the man's life. Somehow, she felt like her own fate was connected to this man's, and so letting him die was not an option....but it was all she could do to keep him alive, and stable, and even then, barely.
After hours, days or weeks of operating on him, it was over, and as best as they could manage, he was stable, but comatose.
She straightened up and looked forlornly at him, "Who did this to you, and why?" She whispered softly.
They moved him to an observation room, where they might keep an eye on him and make sure nothing else unforeseen happens.

Lyssa, Jake, and Adelle
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jena was a little surprised upon hearing Jake, through the ER comm link, say that he knew the young woman as Kory/Adelle. She motioned to a med droid to activate her end of the comm and was about to answer Jake when Lyssa entered the room and hurried over to the bed to assist. Jena nodded her head in affirmation when Lyssa correctly assumed that the boy was talking about the injured woman.
"You would be right....and I have no idea what, why, or how this happened to her, but I do know that we need to get her out of this armor."
Briefly casting her gaze up to the observation room, while Lyssa began her own inspection of the armor, Jena met Jakes worried gaze and replied.
:: Thank you for the information, Jake. We will do our best to make sure she recovers. If you can think of anything else that we might need to know, then please, feel free to tell us. ::
Flashing Jake a quick reassuring smile, Jena's eyes went back down to the table with a look of concentration furrowing her brow. She continued running her hands and fingertips down over the Adelle's left side searching for anything on the armor that might resemble a release button while Lyssa was busy concentrating on the right side. Their actions were almost mirroring each other as they both labored to find that damn switch.
After the front of the armor was thoroughly examined, she and a med droid helped Lyssa roll Adelle to her left side so Lyssa could begin examining the back. All the while there was one thought that kept nagging at her - what if the armor was the only thing preventing Adelle from bleeding out? She knew Lyssa was thinking the same thing by the way the eccentric blond doctor was carefully calculating every movement of her fingertips across the surface of the armor. Casting quick glances at the monitors every so often, Jena's attention was briefly interrupted by One-Seven, the med droid she had sent to Dr. Lee's lab to retrieve blood.
= One-Seven = :: Doctors, here is the blood you requested. I was also instructed to inform you that Dr Lee sent some samples of the patients blood type, along with some of her DNA samples, to the cloning and genetics lab and there was an anomaly.... ::
Arching a questioning eyebrow, Jena stared at the med droid for a few seconds before looking back down to Adelle's prone body and speaking.
"What kind of anomalies, One-Seven?"
The droid, unperturbed by Jena's icy stare and clipped question, brought up the findings on the holoscreen and began to explain.
:: Dr. Lee's findings suggested that the patient had genetic enhancements and the cloning/genetics lab confirmed it. She has Caamasi DNA. ::
"Caamasi DNA?"
Jena studied Adelles bloodied face for a moment, looking for any Caamasi characteristics, and wondering to herself the hows and whys this young woman came to have such genetics when outwardly she looked Human/Near Human. This new information could affect how they treated Adelle and how well the woman responded to said treatment.
"What percentage of Caamasi heritage?"
:: It was estimated that it is at least one-quarter, according to the findings in the mitochondrial DNA. Dr. Lee is, however, confident that giving her Human blood will not cause her any lasting harm. ::
Being geneticists, the mention of mitochondrial DNA made, both, Jena and Lyssa eye the droid momentarily. They immediately knew that mitochondrial DNA meant that Adelle had inherited the Caamasi genes from her mother - providing she had a mother, and father, and was actually born. Jena inwardly hoped that Adelle had natural parents somewhere, if not then it meant she had been someones laboratory experiment. She also hoped Dr. Lee was correct in his opinion that pure Human blood wouldn't cause Adelle any harm. Before Jena could comment further, Lyssa's hand movements stilled on Adelles back and her eyes met Jena's.
Jena nodded her head slightly, acknowledging her colleague as Lyssa's finger almost seemed glued to a spot between Adelles shoulder blades. Both women took a deep breath. It was now or never. If the armor was released and Adelle started bleeding again then they would have to work fast to save her life and they both knew it. Casting a glance at One-Seven, then back to Lyssa, Jena spoke softly as she mentally prepared herself for the disaster that awaited under the womans armor.
"Do it...."

"Right...." Lyssa said taking a deep breath. Her eyes traveled down to Adelle's unconscious body as she applied a steady firm pressure to the release button. Upon feeling the button click into place and hearing a soft hissing sound, she let out the breath she'd taken while sliding her hand out from under Adelle. One by one the plates of the armor loosened but oddly didn't fall from Adelles body. Lyssa narrowed her eyes as she gently lifted one of the metal pieces from the young womans right shoulder. Tiny rivets of fresh, oozing blood were revealed underneath the metal.
"Holy shit!"
Lyssa breathed with a low tone to her voice. She, and Jena realized, almost at the same time, that the armor had tiny barbs in it that anchored it to the young womans body. Working as quickly, and carefully, as they possibly could they managed to get most of the armor off of Adelle's arms, shoulders, and lower body within a few moments while the One-Seven dabbed each new area of exposed skin with an antiseptic solution.
Along with all her other wounds, there were also hundreds of small puncture wounds all over Adelles body where the armor had been attached directly into the young womans flesh. By this time only the torso section remained and both doctors paused for a moment or two to gauge Adelles vital signs. The young woman was remaining stable, considering all that she'd been through and all that was still to come. Silently Lyssa and Jenas eyes met with a quiet agreement and they began to gently remove the last vestiges of the armor from Adelles torso and hoping that when it was all removed that Adelle would remain stable. This hope was shot to hell when Lyssa and Jena took off the last piece of the armor and a stream of blood began squirting out of Adelle's left side, barely missing Jena's face. Quick reflexes allowed the dark haired doctor to dodge the stream of blood as she clamped a hand over the wound in the young womans side. Lyssa began calling out orders to the med droids while she was dealing with the wounds on the other side of Adelles body.
"One-Three, get that blood hooked up into the I.V. with a Y-line! One-Seven go get as many more units of blood from Dr. Lee as you can! NOW!" The droids rushed to do as Lyssa ordered while she cast a concerned glance up to the monitors, she could see that Adelle's vitals were beginning to drop as she continued tending to the wounds on her side of the table while Jena was working feverishly on getting the bleeding to stop on the left side of Adelles torso.

*Doctor Shaewe seemed ready to respond to Jake when another doctor, who had entered the emergency room as Jake was speaking, spoke with her first for a moment. Doctor Shaewe responded to Jake afterward, thanking him for the information, assuring him that they would help Kory recover, and encouraging him to share anything else he may know with a reassuring smile. Jake couldn't think of anything in particular that would be helpful. He'd heard from Morgan she had scars of some sort, but if the doctors were going to be examining her, well, they'd figure that out themselves; it wasn't worth wasting more valuable time over the intercom.
So he only managed to force an uncertain smile in return and pressed his hands against the glass as he watched the doctors, biting his lip. What would Morgan do if she had been here? Had seen her mama unconscious and battered within some strange armor, lying upon the operating table in apparently critical condition? She probably would have had a hard time containing herself, maybe even demand to be let in the room with her, though that likely wouldn't have been allowed. Jake was honestly glad she wasn't here so she didn't have to see Kory like this; feelings aside, it was hard enough for him, watching someone he knew, someone close to the family in such a state.
Wait... what had they just said? There was Caamasi DNA inside Kory? Jake couldn't remember what a Caamasi was, so he took out his datapad and did the quick research... Ah, right, those, that made sense. Wait a minute, that didn't make any sense at all! Caamasi were fuzzy creatures with odd snouts, and Kory looked every bit human! No, he was getting ahead of himself, the meddroid had mentioned "genetic enhancements," so it probably came from that, that seemed normal. No no genetic enhancements weren't normal at all! What did all of this mean?! Just what all had happened to Kory in her life, what other secrets did she have?
Jake stared blankly through the glass, now wondering what Morgan would think of this information. Should he even tell her? It sounded like something Morgan ought to know, especially about her own mama, but... should he? He wasn't sure he was even supposed to know, at least if Kory had her way, but something beyond her control had changed that. Or did she even know... ? Regardless, these thoughts were only a temporary distraction, as the severity of Kory's situation quickly returned to the forefront of his mind, especially when they apparently found the release on the armor. Good, they could treat her more easily now— Wait. Was she wearing anything under the armor? And if so, would they have to remove it? Suddenly he had doubts if he should be looking, granted, it wasn't like he was prudish or hadn't seen naked people before, but something didn't seem right to him about seeing the love of his life naked while she was unconscious and in desperate need of medical care. His eyes darted back and forth, he almost began to sweat as he debated what he should do. He'd subjected himself to this medical tutelage, so he should have known the risks, but this, he wasn't ready! Maybe it would be okay if he didn't watch, it was a severe medical case after all, and he was just starting out and should be sticking to little things!
Before he could make up his mind, most of the armor had already been removed, but what lay below was far from a pretty sight; instead, it was more than just battered, but also cut and bloodied. Now Jake couldn't take his eyes off her, for much less flattering reasons. What had done this to her?! ... it wasn't the armor itself, was it? What kind of armor was that?! Now, Jake realized, he was in it for the long haul; if he was going to learn to be a healer, he couldn't balk at things like this. He could very well one day be required to perform healing of this magnitude or greater one day. He pressed his hands up against the glass once more, a look of worry and disbelief on his face. Now he was extra grateful Morgan wasn't here to see this. He'd heard his sister had once been in a far more gruesome state, and though Jake hadn't seen it himself, he couldn't bear to think of it; would seeing Kory like this trigger terrible memories within Morgan if she had seen it? She had flashbacks already; she didn't need any more.* Force save her... *He was so absorbed in the moment he'd hardly noticed his whisper, but it was nonetheless all the more heartfelt.*

Jena did her best to stem the flow of blood from Adelles left side while Lyssa continued to administer to the right. One of the med droids had brought out instruments trays, one for each doctor, to allow the women to execute their jobs more efficiently in their mutual endeavor to save the young womans life.
After a few moments it was apparent to both physicians that, due to the severity of Adelles wounds, that they would be wasting precious time if they continued to try to stabilize her enough to send her to the operating room. Jena cast a quick glance across the table to Lyssa."She's not going to make it to the OR. We need to do what needs to be done here and now."The blond doctor simply nodded her head in agreement and began to call out more orders to the med droids. The droids hurriedly carried out the orders they'd been given and within a moment or two all the necessary equipment and sterile instruments were in place that the doctors would need to perform the life saving surgery right there in the ER. A chest tube had been set in place to allow excess fluid to be drained from the chest cavity, along with more I.V. lines hung with various medications being delivered to Adelle through each. There was also a separate line hung to replenish the live giving blood Adelle had lost due to her multiple injuries.
With Jena and Lyssa concentrating on the upper half of Adelle's body, the med droids began concentrating and working on the lower half on the many small puncture wounds, mild burns, and broken and fractured bones the young woman had acquired. The droids started with cleaning the puncture wounds left behind by the barbs in the armor then moved on to and burns. When all of those wounds were taken care of, the droids began to concentrate on the broken/fractured bones in Adelles legs, resetting the ones that needed to be reset, surgically repairing the ones that needed surgery and applying bonemer to all of them to aid in the healing process.
As the droids carried out their tasks, Jena and Lyssa worked feverishly to stop the internal bleeding and repair the damage that had been done to the delicate organs within Adelle's torso. Lyssa managed to get the bleeding under control from Adelle's lacerated liver while Jena worked on repairing the blood vessels and arteries. Once they got the internal bleeding stopped and the internal injuries taken care of, they began to apply small doses of bonemer to all of the broken/fractured bones in the upper half of the young womans body.
After, roughly, several hours the two doctors and three droids had managed to stabilize and patch Adelle up quite nicely. Her vital signs, though still somewhat low, were within a good range and holding - which considering the shape the young woman had been in, it was a vast improvement. Satisfied that they had done all they could for Adelle, Jena and Lyssa striped off their surgical garments and sent a couple of the droids ahead to the bacta tank room to prepare a tank for Adelle. Lyssa and another med droid began cleaning up a little bit while Jena updated Adelle's medical file with a list of injuries and repairs. Still unsure of Adelle's proper last name, Jena Decided to go with the one Jake had though was close to it. After updating Adelles medical files, she was carefully dressed by the droids in a thin loose fitting tank top and a pair of shorts then transferred to a hover gurney and moved to a private bacta tank room where she would be lowered into the bacta solution for a while to allow her broken and battered body time to heal with the aid of the soothing liquid....----------------------------------------------------------------------------------OOC info: RP continued HERE....
