Staying in position long enough to watch how the Hutt's security handles the shift change in the morning, Neassa rolls her neck and shoulders after watching the change closely. Tired and sore from having been sitting for the majority of the evening in the cramped speeder, Neassa powers it back on and makes her way out of the landing garage so she can return to the apartment she is operating out of.
Once inside the apartment Neassa changes out of the club wear into something more practical, washing the dye from her hair beforehand so that when she returns to the Hutt's club later in the evening to make a second recon in case things change she will have a different appearance. After making a few notes for a preliminary report she can finish after the night's work, Neassa eats and naps so that she is well rested for the recon later.

Furgan Medical Center
Making my way into the medical center after landing the airspeeder outside, I have little trouble navigating my way to the long term ICU as it was there I spent a great deal of my last visit to Umgul. Informing the charge nurse of my arrival after reaching the unit where Knight Shadolen is being treated, I take a seat in the waiting area after being informed that, as visiting hours are long past over with the lateness of the hour, they will need to get permission from Zane's physician before allowing me to see him, though they are kind enough to fill me on on his condition, which sounds to be hovering somewhere between full and near wakefullness.
Pushing the sides of my outer robe back from my legs as I sit, I sigh when, having seated myself, I see my other self has seated herself as well, taking a seat facing mine. As I have made no effort to call forth a doppleganger I know that the me I see is merely in my mind, a persistent holdover from my time alone on Bimmisaarai that it seems will be with me for some time. Rubbing my left temple, I sigh and say to my other me, "I may need you later, an actual you. I'll need to leave to pick up Aerandir and . . ."
"Or I could go. It would be just as easy for me as it would be for you, you know. Why . . ."
"No, I tell me, I think I'd rather be at the wheel than be here and trying to . . . laughing with a shake of my head, realizing I'm essentially arguing with myself, I say, You'll stay here."
The other me shrugs, "It would give you practice if you gave me the more complicated job, you know. But fine, I'll stay and you'll go."

"Yeah, I saw Andros earlier," Franz told his cousin about his other cousin's whereabouts before informing the Headmaster of the Mist Order on what the Vice Governor had been doing. "He was training in the forest, I knew that he was there while I was jogging with both Crystal and Elika, but I don't think they've seen him, I think he had purposely stepped out of their way." When Franz thought about it, Andros despised interrupting people when they were working out, just like Andros despised being interrupted so to speak, but again there were so many exceptions when it came to the younger Vyridian, and Franz was certain that Andros would welcome an interruption from both Crystal and Elika anyways.
After exchanging a few more words with Atlantis, Franz dropped him off to the 23rd Precinct before heading to get what Lily had requested from him, a few more bottles of tequilas by the number of six and he made a slight detour to a floral shop to purchase a singular flower which turned out to be one of the best smelling flower he had ever encountered. He was hoping this would get him some points because it was earlier than he had anticipated and therefore when he showed himself to Ayodele's apartment complex, Franz was tapping his foot on the ground after he had decided to wait for a few more moments before pushing on the intercomm.
He supposed that she would understand that by that he already knew her full name and that was really going to be awkward for him to explain the whole deal. He already knew her name the moment he approached her by the bar yesterday in TaSpa! and that was the only thing he had not really told her. Well... Come what may. He thought before finally taking his courage in both of his hands and advanced towards the entrance of the building, glancing at the names, he tilted his head from side to side to find it.

Unfortunately for Franz the names of the building's tenants are not listed anywhere outside of it, nor is there an intercom system; fortunately for him, however, Ayodele is outside on the small deck of her third floor apartment when he arrives to observe his efforts. "You are early, Ayodele calls down to Franz in an amused tone, smiling when he looks up at her. The front doors are not locked, she informs him in the same tone while gesturing for him to enter the building, adding, Second door on your right, third floor."
Turning to head inside to meet Franz at the door after he has entered the building, located in one of the city's poorer areas, Ayodele waits for him in the hall, smiling when he arrives and telling him, "That is a lovely flower Franz, before stepping with languid grace back into her apartment and motioning for Franz to come inside as she says, Please, come in." Ayodele's small, one room apartment, like the building itself, is old and run down, her odd bits of furniture are battered and obvious former cast-offs that are however, like her apartment, kept meticulously neat and clean. There is little in the way of decoration in Ayodele's tiny home, save for the many plants and flowers that she keeps inside and on the deck, and which lend the otherwise drab and rundown space their beauty, color, and rich, exotic scents.
Closing the door behind him after he enters the apartment, Ayodele, dressed in a forest green, knee-length bath robe, says, "If you will give me a few moments, I can change and be ready to leave shortly. Motioning towards the tiny kitchenette area that is as clean the rest of the apartment, Ayodele asks, Can I offer you anything? Caf or tea?"

Umgul, we have a pro-... His thoughts trailed off when he overheard that familiar voice that caused him to look up and there she was, it automatically brought a sheepish smile on his features before he inclined his head to acknowledge her had heard her loud and clear and thus he followed her instructions.
Finally finding her face to face, he smiled once more and looked at the Velanie flower before rubbing the back of his neck. "A lovely flower for a lovely woman." Franz said genuinely as he handed that out to her when he got inside. He knew that he was early and he really was hoping that the flower would soften the blow from being too early. Franz wasn't the kind of guy to overly analyze his surroundings right now, especially when he just got here, completely earlier than expected. He felt that he was overstepping his bounds and her intimacy by being into her home. He was a little ashamed of that truth be told which was why he was looking at his feet and he even pursed his lips.
"No thank you, and also I am very sorry for coming here earlier than I have said I would." Franz scratched the back of his head and looked at her apologetically, for all he knew perhaps she did have plans before their original meeting. "It's just that my friends thought that perhaps it would be a good thing to pick you up already so that you can get to know them like they can get to know you before others came along." He explained thoughtfully with another sheepish smile. "And I, uh... I suppose that it was something that I also wanted to do so that I could spend more time with you." He finally admitted with another sheepish expression.
Truth be told, right now he was grateful that she did not tell him off for coming here earlier really to begin with and her smile somewhat erased all of his doubts from his transgression.

"From a lovely man, Ayodele adds with a bemused smile to Franz's sentence as she accepts the Velanie flower from him, lifting it and closing her dark eyes while inhaling the flower's delicate scent. Frowning as though displeased when Franz apologizes for arriving earlier than he had stated, the amused glint in her eyes betraying the fact that her displeasure is merely feigned and in truth only serves to amuse her as so many things seem to do. To complete the playful portrait of annoyance, Ayodele turns and walks from Franz as he goes on with his extended apology and endearingly awkward explanation, looking over her shoulder with a smile to ensure even Franz in his nervousness should harbor no doubt that her intent is to set him at ease. Taking a pale red vase from a cabinet, its bottom partly filled with darker red marbles, Ayodele fills it with water as, once Franz has ceased what seems to her his nervous chatter, she smiles warmly with an eyebrow arched in amusement and asks rhetorically and clearly teasingly, You only suppose it was also something you wanted? How very flattering. Placing the Velanie flower in the vase, Ayodele holds Franz's eyes with her own as she walks with a languidly unhurried grace back to stand in front of him, lifting a cool hand to rest on his cheek as she asks him in what is most likely becoming clear is her customarily amused tone, Do you know, Franz, what I would find more flattering still? Tilting her head to the side as she slides her hand gently upwards to caress his cheek, Ayodele answers for him, If you would relax. Patting Franz's cheek and removing her hand, holding her thumb and index finger apart slightly, Ayodele quantifies her request playfully, If only a little."
"I will only be a moment, Ayodele tells Franz, knowing that her request may help set him more at ease just as easily as it may make him more so, but not regretting her attempt all the same; while she understands and therefore forgives his unease, Ayodele, whose behavior should make it clear she feels no such unease herself, would free Franz from his if she could. True to her word, Ayodele is not gone long, having dressed in a green and white sarong with a floral motif worn over her bathing suit. Taking her shoulder bag and a bottle of wine with a gold ribbon around its neck from the counter, Ayodele puts an arm through Franz's and asks, Shall we be off then?"

Franz's expression remain neutral for now but deep inside it felt like he seemed to be decomposing especially with her frown right there but thankfully the amused glint in her eyes relaxed him, if only slightly. He was sighing in relief internally and he seemed to be watching each and every of her movements as if he was enthralled by those. There was just something about her that he found very graceful, while he couldn't put his finger on it for now, he just continued to look at her. And then all of his thoughts vanished when she placed her cool hand onto his cheek, he slightly leaned his face in the palm of her hand with a genuine smile right now. He was hearing her loud and clear and when he looked back into her eyes, he smiled once more and inclined his head to acknowledge what she was requesting of him. "Okay..." He chuckled briefly and nodded once again to indicate that he would do the best he could and relax but truth be told he was just uncertain, although they did have that understanding from yesterday if he did misstep she would let him know, like he would. But history indicated that he often said the wrong thing at the wrong time which could be very awkward.
When Ayodele went off to get ready, Franz breathed softly to control his emotions currently, he had felt that his heart was hammering in his ribcage. Peaceful thought, peaceful thought, everything is going to be all right... He thought to himself and it was when she was gone to get changed that he did finally look around his surroundings, this place was neat, and it seemed like she did enjoy flowers and just overall plants. He was glad to have made a detour to that floral shop then, it wasn't a bouquet, as he didn't want that to be too much but he supposed that he was okay with settling for that one flower, and it even got him a compliment from her.
Just for that, it definitely set his mind at ease right now and he seemed to be smiling without any reason right now, until she came back. Franz could not help but to stare, and he knew that it was obvious but the only thing he was thinking right now it was the fact that the sarong really complimented her. "You are beautiful." Franz said genuinely before glancing at the bottle and the bag she was carrying. "Do you wish for me to carry those?" He genuinely asked before nodding that they should definitely head out, and he waited for her to get her door locked and carried whatever it was he carried if she indeed accepted his offer before leading her to the airspeeder that he had been using, though it wasn't his.
The backseats were filled with those tequila bottles that were in a box and he or she placed her bag next to it before he helped her out to get into the passenger's seat of his B69. "Before heading there, did you by the way wished to take care of something first or everything is under control?" Either way Franz got in his seat and started the engines letting the craft hover there for a moment waiting for her answer and depending on that he either led them to where she needed to go first or the lakehouse's direction...

Handing Franz the bottle of wine when he asks if he can carry anything for her, Ayodele sidles up close to him as they walk to his speeder, shaking her head as she sits and smiling as she says, "No, I have no errands to run Franz, but thank you for the offer. After fastening her seat belt, Ayodele rests a hand beneath her chin, looking out of the passenger window as they lift off while asking Franz conversationally, So, how was the rest of your evening after we parted? While she could easily ascertain via her telepathic ability whether the slight air of pensiveness she has observed Franz has had since he arrived is due to his continued, unnecessary nervous unease around her or is borne from other causes, Ayodele looks from the view outside the window to his eyes with a concerned smile as she observes, You seem somewhat ill at ease. Tilting her head to the side, her tone amused so that he has the opening to make light of the question should he so choose to do so rather than open up to her, Ayodele asks liltingly, Still needlessly concerned that you might somehow commit some grievous transgression and offend me, or is it something else worrying you?"

Franz first looked around to check that no incoming airspeeders were nearby, satisfied with that, he finally looked back right in front of him and maneuvered in that direction. His gaze was still right in front of him but he was still listening attentively to Ayodele's words, her questions...
But first things first he supposed, the easiest of them all, her first question, though Franz supposed that depending on who or what that was an entirely questionable feeling about last night. "The first part of my evening, after we parted, was very interesting." Franz glanced at her briefly with a knowing smile. "Pretty much most of everyone I cared about was there, and then someone arrived, which was great relief to be seeing her again after hearing some troubling news a few months back, but she is alive and that is good thing." He, of course, meant Serrin and he had no idea if Ayodele knew about her or even heard about the Twi'lek Jedi Master, former High Councilor of the Jedi Order. "Serrin Roma is her name, I am sure that my cousin and his girlfriend were very relieved upon finding out that she is well and alive." That was a fact, Atlantis had maintained Serrin's codes for immediate landing clearance since he did not believe the news at all, and also considering that after all Serrin had started to instruct Crystal in the Force after the latter had found out that she actually was attuned to the Force, the two women had created a bond, that he was very certain of.
Now the ill at ease part, Franz didn't even know how to reply to that quite honestly, sometimes words evaded him and sometimes there were other things that he was hoping wouldn't affect Ayodele in a way also. After all, Franz was going to take her to the lakehouse where sooner or later, Atlantis would find his way back there also, but there was also Andros there, the man who had supposedly murdered some criminals and therefore had taken the law in his hands. Then there were his own feelings right now. "Yes, there is still that little bitn even if you are saying that I should relax, which I promise I am trying right now." He told her sincerely with a knowing smile when he briefly looked at her again. "But yes, you are right on when you are saying that something else is worrying me." He tried to look upbeat but that was just difficult to do.
"I suppose that if you have recently heard the news then that is what is worrying me among other things. But if you haven't listened or heard the news, then I'd rather not down your mood and cause you to frown." Franz told her softly with a faint smile before shaking his head thoughtfully and chuckling remembering Lily's words this morning reiterated by the women in the lakehouse. "I shouldn't even think about it, as per a lawyer's instructions, it's supposed to be a no drama day." Franz chuckled and rolled his eyes playfully as he kept on making his way towards their destination...

Umgul City — Spaceport
Ice and Ali looked up when Ares came back to the main lounging area of the ship and spoke. Looking down the hallway, Ice had a contemplative expression on her face for a moment before standing up and giving Ares a slight smile. "Thank you, Ares....but I think he's awake now. I'll go get him ready. And customs won't be a problem, just as long as they don't mind my small arsenal of personal weapons." She quipped over her shoulder with a wink before disappearing down the hallway to the room she and Lukas occupied.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------Ali chuckled, shaking her head at Ice's parting words before following Ares to gather their things from their room. Once in the room she moved over to him and wrapped her arms loosely around his waist as she looked up at him. "She's probably not kidding about the weapons. She almost always has at least three on her at any given time, though that's not counting the ones that are sometimes concealed. Don't worry though, almost all of them are legal." She grinned teasingly as she gave him a quick kiss on the lips before pulling back and helping to collect their things. After a few moments they had all met back in the main lounging area just as the ship touched down at the designated landing site.......
Ares was also certain that indeed Isis wasn't kidding about the weapons, but last he had checked, as long as those weapons were registered and declared to customs, that would be fine, right? Unless he was mistaken then he guessed that he would be proven differently once they landed...
Grabbing his bag and placing the strap over his shoulder, Ares wrapped his arm around Ali and started to disembark from the Physicians Hand when their pilot said that it was clear. He chuckled humorlessly when something came to mind and he sighed softly before glancing to Ali to explain, "Remember the last time we landed here also, and that surprise that my dearest father was there too..." Yeah that pretty much explained why he had chuckled but that being said, as they were walking down the boarding ramp, Ares grabbed his datapad to send a message to his siblings.
Putting away his datapad, Ares looked around that familiar spaceport but at the same time, it seemed to have changed indeed since it looked like some custom officers were making their way in their direction to not only check the ship but also their belongings.

Picking up her bag, Ali slid the strap over her shoulder then wrapped an arm around Ares' waist as he put his arm around her. While they walked down the ramp of the ship, she glanced up at him when he spoke of the last time they were on Umgul and the surprise appearance of his father, Virgil Solaris. Looking up to Ares, Ali smiled slightly.
"Well, maybe he won't pop out of the blue this time. At least not until you get a chance to spend some time with Ryan and Crystal and talk to them about the things you've found out."
She was trying to be optimistic when it came to the subject of his father. Not that she had anything personal against the man, since she had only met him that one time, but she had seen how his presence had affected Ares and Ryan and she wasn't sure she wanted to be witness to that again anytime soon. Shaking that thought from her mind, she gave him a reassuring smile as they stopped at the bottom of the ramp and waited for Ice and Lukas to catch up, and for the customs officials to do their duty....

Ice had gotten Lukas dressed and managed to gather their things in the process. Shouldering the strap of the large duffel bag, she took the boys hand walked out of the room toward the ramp of the ship. Lukas was wide eyed looking all around the area as they stepped off the ramp at the bottom to stand beside Ali and Ares."Mommy, wha ah we? We not home anymoe?" Smiling, Ice pushed the dark round rimmed sunglasses up on her nose and briefly glanced around the spaceport before looking down at her son lovingly and giving his small hand a reassuring gentle squeeze. "No sweetie, we're on Umgul now....just for a visit for a little while. We're going to meet new people and do fun things. Think of it as an adventure like in the stories we read at bedtime sometimes."She smiled again with a chuckle as Lukas looked a little skeptical for a moment before seemingly deciding that it was okay that they weren't at home. An adventure might not be so bad. His little face brightened at the thought of that. "I wike aventues!" "I thought you might." Ice gave a light laugh while letting the strap of the duffel bag slide off her shoulder so the bag could settle at her feet as the customs officials neared them.

Umgul City - Spaceport
Ever since that splash concerning the Vice-Governor, security within the city had been increased, even more in the spaceport. Two women and two men after being alerted by the Leviathan that a transport was docking in were making their way towards the Physicians Hand and noticed that its occupants seemed to be disembarking.
"Could you please provide your IDs and let me know if you have weapons to declare, if so please do register them." The first custom officer said as he had taken a hold of the IDs and glanced at their identifications and input that in the database along with the weapons that had been declared by anyone. while the women and the other man seemed to be scanning the ship for any illicit shipments but found none.
The first custom officer that had addressed the people there inclined his head before handing the IDs to everyone and inclined his head. "Thank you for your cooperation, welcome to Umgul and please enjoy your stay." With that the travelers were left alone since that ship had already come here before in Umgul and also knew from Intelligence that the man that had been tagged as Ares Solaris was the brother of Umgul's CFO...

With a polite smile, she handed the official Lukas' I.D, that identified him as her son, and her own credentials that identified her as a Jedi Knight, acting governor, and Princess of Honoghr. When he handed the I.D.'s back to her she then knelt down and unlocked a compartment on the duffel bag to reveal two .45 caliber semi automatic handguns, with extra three ammo clips for each gun and bio-coded safety locks on the triggers, for the officials inspection. Unzipping a panel on the opposite side, she then took out her two lightsaber hilts, one normal and one shoto, and handed them over for his inspection also. Shrugging with a slight grin at his raised eyebrow, she handed over all the proper registration for the weapons, including the extra ammo for the guns that the other three inspectors would find on the ship.
After everything was logged and verified the officials thanked them all then left them to their own devices. Ice locked everything back up again and stood up taking Lukas' hand again as she looked over to Ali and Ares with a chuckle."That went well. Are we ready to go?"

Umgul City — Spaceport
"I hope so, amore, I hope so..." Ares said to Ali about his dad popping out of the blue. Virgil could very well do that but still right now he was perhaps inkling towards the no. From what Ares knew, Virgil seemed to be missing currently or he was just being comm silence but whatever he didn't want to think about that right now, he just wanted to get throughout the trip in one piece so to speak. Noticing that custom officials were making their way in their direction, Ares gladly obliged with the request in handing his ID and showing his lightsaber to the man. It was the only weapon he had anyways, and still he didn't often use his weapon but if and when he did, he definitely knew how to use it. After all he had trained alone and perfected some of his skills anyways...
Ares guessed that was a story for another time...
For the time being he had been looking at both Isis and Lukas who had interacted previously and he smiled at their exchange, something just left him with a bad taste in his mouth. Somewhat the whole picture there was very familiar to him. Loving mother but a very absent father. Really that was just really wrong. But throughout the year, with his own findings and everything that had been told to him, he guessed he understood but still it did not change the fact that growing up without a father was difficult. It really was.
Snapping out of his own thoughts and reverie, Ares looked at what Isis was packing in terms of weaponry. It wasn't surprising to him at all but really, she wasn't going to use all of that in Umgul, right?
Her decision and her choice, not that he would ever say anything about it. Taking back his own ID and his lightsaber, Ares stored it again at the small of his back and looked from Ice to Ali, and he definitely concurred with the former's statement. "It might have had something to do with your ID." Ares told Ice with an amused grin somewhat before hearing his datapad pinging that he had received a message.
Reading over the message from Ryan, Ares chuckled and rolled his eyes before shaking his head and securely grabbing his bag, "Yeah, I believe we are definitely ready to go, and I know where my siblings are, unless you wanted to head to the Misty Lodge first in order to settle in?" He asked dubiously to everyone, either way Ares didn't really care where to first as something told him from Ryan's message that he or Crystal didn't probably want to hear about it today. So really he wasn't in a rush right now but his expression somewhat turned into deep thought as he waited for an answer to what the cousins wanted to do first.

UPD Precinct
After I've set the airspeeder down outside the precinct, the Calmcacil's and I make our way into the precinct. When we reach the waiting area I approach the officer manning the desk to introduce myself and the Calmcacils and to ask if Atlantis has arrived, learning that he has not yet done so. I briefly consider asking if the Rangers and detectives working on the case we've come to assist with are present, but as I am not sure Atlantis had made them aware of the fact we would be arriving to be briefed, elect to wait for him to reach the precinct so that he can handle that detail should it need to be handled.
Walking back to where Aerandir, Michelle, and Morgan are waiting, I inform them that, "Atlantis has not yet arrived, clasping my hands behind my back as Tchun, my left lekku, unfurls from around the front of my back to drape behind my back, and say, I'm sure he'll be along shortly."

Umgul City — 23rd Precinct
Atlantis was the kind of person to never announce himself straight away when he had arrived; he preferred to isolate himself in a corner and on this case it was the rooftop of the building where the airspeeders landed, and he let the mist do its trick to conceal him visually at least. He was still thinking about what his cousin had told him earlier about Andros' whereabouts, and he had been worried about his brother, that Atlantis had completely forgotten to greet his cousin a happy birthday. At least in a playful way since for Franz his birthday wasn't that big of a deal and if he could forget about it, then he would but sooner or later that would come up, and something told him that perhaps it already came up in the lakehouse.
He was about to head down to meet the others when he stopped on his tracks, closing his eyes momentarily to focus entirely on the Force, he recognized nearby signatures that he had not felt in a while and just like Crystal had informed him that very morning, her brother, Ares, was making his way here to Umgul and it appeared that he already was with his girlfriend and someone else... But that was something he would have to see much later on because he had something else to deal with right now.
Which was why he walked down and went straight to the waiting area where he knew that Serrin was located thanks to him figuring out who had arrived in the nearby spaceport. "Good morning," Atlantis greeted the four of them upon seeing them altogether, he smiled faintly and knew that the sooner he could get this meeting out of the way, the sooner he could leave, but he didn't want to rush the whole thing at all so, he waited patiently without showing haste on his features.
"No one knows that I have requested your help nor do the Rangers or detectives know that I, as not only the supposedly accused's brother but also the Headmaster of the Order here, will be taking a step back from here." Waving his hand dismissively for now, since he supposed that it was preferable if he waited for the questions to be asked his way, instead he looked at everyone with a faint smile. "I hope you have had a good night sleep?" Atlantis asked sincerely before glancing around to see if Madieke, Nazani or Pakchoian were around, perhaps they were in one of the conference room. Perhaps but he didn't want to make people aware that he was here just yet as perhaps Serrin and/ or the Calmcacil family had something to ask him first.

Ali had shown the customs officer her personal and RDMC I.D. holocards when he asked. Reaching into her bag she then took out both of her lightsabers, one normal and one shoto, for his inspection and cataloging. Placing them back into the bag when he returned the sabers to her, she looked up at Ares when he spoke answering her previous comment about Virgil showing up out of the blue. Smiling, she slid her arms around his waist and gave him a quick hug.
"It'll be fine, chéri....and if he does happen to make an appearance then we'll deal with it then." She hugged him again giving him a quick kiss before pulling back and glancing over to Ice with a grin as her cousin pursed her lips looking down at her own I.D.
"He's right you know. Whether you like it or not, you're a diplomat now and that grants you certain privileges as does the title of Prin..."
"Don't you dare say it."
Ice held up her hand and shot Ali a glare from behind the dark lenses of her sunglasses. Ali, knowing full well that Ice wasn't exactly comfortable with the title of "Princess" even though she'd had it for several years now, continued on unperturbed by her cousins words or sharp stare.
"Don't give me that look, Icicle. It doesn't work with me. Now, as I was saying....being a diplomat AND a Princess does grant you certain privileges. Get used to it, cousin." Laughing lightly at Ice's brief look of temporary disdain, she then turned back to Ares with a warm smile.
"We can go to see your family now if you'd like. I've already made reservations, during the trip here, for all of us at the Misty Lodge so we can check in whenever we're ready. There will be two separate suites so we all have our privacy. There's also suppose to be a rented speeder outside for us to use during our stay."

Perturbed. Ilk.
Given the way Atlantis had left things when they had parted ways, Madieke had not been sure that she or the detectives would be seeing him again, nor, given Atlantis' attitude where things like open communication and team work are concerned, had she been particularly perturbed by the prospect of them conducting what amounted to separate investigations. Finding Atlantis in the lobby when on her way out to start her surveillance on Klivian, then, is more than a little surprising, and not exactly what Madieke considers a positive development. Pausing for a moment before stepping into the lobby, Madieke rubs her temples and mentally prepares herself for the frustration she has come to anticipate whenever dealing with Atlantis and wonders who the small group of beings he has with him are, guessing that they are Jedi he'll be wanting to inflict upon her and the investigation. If the Jedi are anything like Atlantis and Vos, Madieke figures her level of frustration is not about to diminish any time soon.
Once she feels as ready as she's ever going to be to deal with Atlantis and his ilk, Madieke walks over to where he and those with him are and, not bothering to conceal the fact that she isn't exactly happy to see him, greets him chilly, "Atlantis," and then pointedly glances towards those with him with an arched eyebrow to silently ask why he's here with them.

23rd Precinct
"Madieke," Atlantis replied, not really showing any signs that he was offended by her chilly greeting nor was he perturbed by her displeased expression upon seeing him here. He knew that he only had himself to blame for that, him and himself alone, whatever Mace concealed or why she had been more guarded in terms of communication that was something that he wasn't going to say anything about, instead he was just going to speak in his stead. Either way, right not Atlantis seemed more relaxed and far more composed than he had been yesterday since he had his item back and he could very well formulate his thoughts straight to the point and very decisively without beating around the bush. Since it was clearly what Madieke wanted when he noticed her pointedly glance towards Aerandir and his family and also Serrin.
"You remember Serrin?" That was a rhetorical question of course, since from what he did remember Madieke and Serrin had been both at Crystal's birthday party back in the Misty Lodge, and no they had not spoken with one another but, at least he assumed that they had seen one another there. "Over here, Aerandir Calmcacil, his sister Michelle and his daughter, Morgan, plus the tailring would be Lokay." Introduction done on his side at least, he looked at the Jedi he was with and looked back at Madieke. "This is Madieke Aninh, the Sector Ranger leading the investigation." Now that was said and done, Atlantis looked back at Madieke with a placid expression and he smiled faintly, it wasn't to show that he was amused or anything but he still smiled.
"I have asked them to help out, because for every mess up, that is all on me, therefore I apologize for my yesterday's behavior, and I also apologize for not being communicative with you, nor the detectives." After the stunt that the detectives had pulled off yesterday revealing a few things about him to those criminals, that had not worked out for him plus his meeting with Entin and Orlov, that really turned into something he despised. "They will be doing a better job than me or any Jedi here on Umgul," He didn't necessarily need to expound his explanations there, because that ship had sailed already, it showed that he or Mace were no longer great in working with a team after so long.
"They know nothing, but just the facts, how Andros truly is innocent and how I have managed to track down the perp, that is all. They are a clean slate and will draw their own conclusions as the investigation progresses, as for myself I am withdrawing from it, the Vice Governor is my brother and therefore clearly there is a conflict of interest, so I have asked for their help because they are far more talented than me, I am sure, and also they will be far more detached from all of this than me." Atlantis stayed his tongue and took a step back, he didn't just leave for perhaps there would still be questions that he needed to answer or whatever. But right now, he no longer was tensed or anything at all, he was just mindful of his thoughts and very well composed.
