Having successfully pacified the village of Rwookrrorro, Kargesh Vizla stood next to a kneeling Wookiee Chieftain. Disembarking the landing ramp of the recently landed shuttle was Vrossk Kodra, the Trandoshan lieutenant of the Cartel. Adviser to the slaving operations the Cartel had and general overseer of all slave shipments, Vrossk was vicious, calculating and bloodthirsty. And he had a particular fascination with Wookiee pelts. As the Trandoshan approached, Kargesh spoke.
Torfan, Chieftain of Rwookrrorro. After a brief struggle, he and the resistance surrendered to Cartel forces.
Grinning, revealing an incisor filled maw, Vrossk replied.
"Excellent. The mighty Zordo will be most pleased."
Glancing down at the Wookiee Chieftain, he snarled angrily.
"Process him. Zordo wants out first shipment of Wookiees sent to Kessel immediately!"
Nudging the Wookiee, Kargesh escorted the former Chieftain away as Vrossk inhaled deeply, exhaling with a smug grin. Adding Wookiee labor to the slave market would certainly boost the Cartel's sales and improve relations with Nasair's market on Nar Shaddaa.

The black and red Kom'yrk class support fighter dropped through the atmosphere and maneuvered through the massive trees to a massive branch which had been partially cut away to form a landing pad. The Kom'yrk came to a rest on the branch. Aloriya rose from her seat and exited the shuttle with BL-93 and her other Mandalorian companions.
BL-93, have the other Battle Legionnaires disembark and begin searching for Wroshyr Sapplings. If they find suitable samples, have them transport them back to the ship in as safe a manner as possible. I'd rather not loose any droids or trees because someone mis-calculated something. matter of fact, have the others form up into pairs and have the odd-bot-out join us here.
Of Course Alor'aan.
The droid was silent for a moment as it continued to follow Aloriya across the wroshyr branch towards the pathway to the wookie city.
The others have been dispatched Ma'am.
Good... Aloriya paused for a moment looking around. Tsikador. Bic udesii. Ori'udesii...
Aloriya didn't see any wookies anywhere on the pathways in the village. That was odd. She had expected to be able to find one who might be willing to help her find the best Wroshyr saplings for transplanting to Mandalore.

*The Mandalorian Battle Legionnaire Droids continued to climb the trees in the immediate vicinity of the village of Rwookrrorro. Each time they found a suitable sapling, they carefully uprooted it, sometimes taking chunks of the surrounding bark, but preferring those samples which were beginning to grow in patches of dirt on the trees rather than those which had already begun to integrate its roots into the branches of the upper trees.
As they collected the saplings they took them back to the Kom'yrk class ship perched on one of the landing branches near the village.*

With the puppet government in place, slave trade flourished on Kashyyyk. Zordo's Cartel continued to push slaves across the galaxy. Nar Shaddaa, Kessel and several other worlds where slavery was still legal. And the credits continued to roll in, in exchange for the healthy slaves. Zordo's Cartel continued, unopposed.

Making contact with the local officials, Aloriya discovered the events that had recently transpired on Kashyyk. Behind the implacable visage of her mandalorian helmet, Aloriya scowled at the men conducting the traffic of wookies. She consulted with Alor'ad Atin back on the Muun'bajir in orbit regarding their passenger capacity via her secure helmet comlink so that her words would not be overheard by anyone on the planet or orbiting it."Alor'ad Atin, how many people can be carried by the Muun'bajir?""Alor'aan Marev, the Muun'bajir can carry 1000 passengers in addition to our 6000 crew. Are we expecting guests?" "Atin, a cartel has taken control of Kashyyk and they are selling off the wookies as slaves. I rather thought I might take a thousand or so."There was a pause as Atin seemed to be taken aback by his Commander's words."Alor'aan, your father does not approve of the slave trade. I'm not willing to be party to the purchase of--" Aloriya quickly realized what Atin was driving at and rushed to reassure him."Alor'ad. I have no desire to participate in the slave trade. However, I cannot allow the wookies to be sold into slavery if I can do something about it. I am aware though that we do not have the manpower or firepower to take on even the members of the cartel which are here on Kashyyk much less the cartel as a whole. I have a plan, but the only way we will be able to get the Wookies without starting a war we are not prepared for is to buy them.""Very well Alor'aan. We can carry 1000 passengers. If we forego the final shipment of the Wroshyr trees from the surface we could carry an additional 300 perhaps in the cargo hold. It wouldn't be a particularly comfortable ride, but it could be managed." "Give the orders to re-fit the rest of the cargo holds Alor'ad Atin. I will soon have 1300 wookies on their way to the Muun'bajir. Also, send down the Muun'bajir's shuttles and freighters to assist with the transport of the wookies."Aloriya Commed BL-93 and instructed him to leave off collecting additional sapplings and to return to Rwookrrorro with the rest of the BL droids that had accompanied her to the surface. She then turned back to the Cartel Official standing in front of her and re-activated her helmet's external pa system. She carried out negotiations for 1300 of the wookies, ensuring to get one of the elders of the village. When asked why she wanted one of the elders rather than one of the younger, more fit wookies, Aloriya merely turned her helmet to look directly at the official and said."Because they're my credits chakaar. I'll spend them how I wish. Maybe I'll spend some more of my credits for the privilege of removing your nose from your face and other places it doesn't belong." That seemed to shut the cartel official up. Once the wookies had been selected and separated they were moved to the landing area Aloriya and her crew had used earlier. As the wookies were led off, Aloriya transfered the credits with the Cartel Official and recieved the control codes for the neck collars and stun cuffs the wookies were wearing. Aloriya de-activated her helmet's external pa as she turned her back on the Cartel Official, still keeping an eye on him in her HUD, and gave a message to BL-93 to relay to the wookie elder who had been put with the group waiting for transportation to the Muun'bajir. Then Aloriya headed towards her ship. The droid approached to within about 4 meters of the wookie and relayed the message in shriiwook so that none of the cartel would be able to hear it, and even if some were close enough to hear it, none were likely to understand it. The entire group of wookies fell silent as the elder passed around another message to the rest of the group.
As the Shuttles and Freighters landed and took the wookies on board, the elder went first, along with several other wookies into the Komyrk Aloriya had taken to the surface. Aloriya ordered the rest of her men and the rest of the BL droids to continue shuttling the wookies to the Muun'bajir, then she boarded the Komyrk and took off heading for the battleship.

A minor setback, losing 1300 Wookies to a Mandalorian, but credits were credits. And operations continued as planned.

Continued from hereA flight of four Bes'uliik fighters descends on course to platform A-422 in Rwookrrorro. Kaine Australis exits the lead fighter, while the remaining three pilots remain in their cockpits. The Mandalorian drops to the ground and walks towards the city, waiting for the Cartel's representative. While he waits, Kaine looks around at Kashyyyk's massive forests, taking in the view.
He was felling very determined to resolve things here today. Zordo The Hutt

Torrdar was the Wookiee Chieftain that had been placed in charge during the Hutt Cartel's capture of Kashyyyk. Still in charge and still loyal to the Cartel, news of Zordo's return had reached his ears. The collection of Wookiee slaves would commence, and the Cartel would be free to reinstate its claim. Those that resisted would be dealt with in due time. For now, however, Torrdar needed to ensure his people remained submissive and compliant to the Cartel, as it also ensured his cushy position as Chieftain...and if he couldn't reign his people in, he knew for a fact that Vrossk Kodra would make a visit here and that was the absolute last thing he wanted, was a visit from the Trandoshan slaver.

Torrdar, under the supervision and 'guidance' of Vrossk Kodra, the Ajuur Cartel's lead slaver, work remained uninterrupted. A lot had shifted and changed over the many months, however Kashyyyk kept a steady pace, utilizing the Wookiees as general labour and as a slave force to be sold. Torrdar held a very prominent position, due simply to the fact that he played ball with the Cartel. It also ensured that the suffering of his people under the Cartel was limited. Though without the spice mines of Kessel to be used as a punishment, it could prove more difficult in keeping the Wookiees in line. Though Kodra was rather determined, in his position, to keep the slave market alive.
