Ice nodded in agreement to Atlantis' words before turning to Ryan who had brought over a glass of apple juice for Lukas and a bottle of beer for her. Lukas looked up at Ryan with a toothy grin while grasping the glass with both hands, careful not to spill the liquid inside. "Taank you, Wyan!" He beamed before taking a drink through the straw and giving a satisfied smack of his lips. Smiling down at her son, Ice watched as he gingerly set the glass down beside himself and grinned back up at Ryan when Ryan mentioned that he and Lukas should go swimming later on. "Ok! I wike swimmin'!"
Chuckling at Lukas' excited reply, Ice inclined her head toward Ryan. "Thank you for the beer, Ryan and for offering to swim with him. We'll come and find you in a little while." She stated more seriously before glancing back down to Lukas while Atlantis answered an earlier question from Ryan. She had noticed by then that Ali had returned from inside the house and was standing at the bar with some of the others. Narrowing her eyes slightly, she wondered if anything was wrong but was brought out of her musings by Atlantis speaking to her again saying that he didn't have anything else to tend to today except relaxing due to lawyers orders, as he gazed over to the women at the bar. Ice briefly glanced over to the women not quite sure which one was the lawyer, but made a mental note to inquire about it later. Atlantis continued, reiterating that if she or Lukas needed anything to just ask any one of them that were present.
She was about to reply when Andros, who had gotten up from his chair and walked over to them, interrupted. Looking at Atlantis then to Ice, and even to Lukas, Andros then bluntly told them that it wasn't polite to talk about someone who was just laying there. Arching an eyebrow, Ice let her gaze sweep over him taking in the scars on his chest and abdomen, and the water droplets on his skin and hair before she met his gaze. With a neutral look on her face, she spoke in an even tone.
"We weren't actually talking about you per se....we were talking about Ares and Ryan contacting you personally concerning the events on Caamas that were orchestrated by Sans Horica around three years ago."

Lakehouse - Pool
As Franz was leaning against the edge of the pool looking towards the bar in particular, he was paying close attention to Ayodele. He even did so by tearing his gaze away from what was happening at the bar to just look at the one he currently was with and he smiled before blinking once to concede that Ayodele did have a point there, indeed she did for after all the way she walked and laughed was just her, but then again he was so inarticulate that clearly his wordings somewhat came out the wrong way, he felt.
... And like Ayodele had foreseen, Franz definitely was going to protest but she moved on just efficiently. "Before I do rest that matter," Franz started to say with sheepish smile, for a moment though he looked like he was about to definitely counter her point about him being capable of flattery, but far from it, which was why he just smiled and carried on saying. "I'll just know who to look for immediately and keep an ear out whenever I have to meet you any other times." He supposed that now that he knew the sound of her voice, but also the way she laughed, he'd find her if and when it was necessary plus also through the mists, he was hoping that it would be easier, especially when he knew the way she moved. That was only thanks to his cousin who had started to teach him something a while ago but that had been put in the back burner for the time being especially since Franz had to leave momentarily the planet.
Briefly glancing back at the bar noticing that Lily and Alisha were no longer there, Franz wondered what was going on now but then again, that was Lily who declared it to be a no drama day, therefore nothing to worry about, Franz guessed. Which was why he pushed that matter aside and looked up the sky before closing his eyes and feeling the warmth from the sun. Smiling as he looked back at Ayodele, Franz inclined his head to her thanks, although truth be told, she had nothing to thank him for. "Thank you for even accepting my invitation to begin with." Franz said sincerely with a warm smile. After all if she had not accepted then this revelation wouldn't have happened.
Though curiosity struck him and he kept looking at her thoughtfully. It made him wonder why she had come to a misty planet when she obviously enjoyed the sun and the water, and this planet didn't afford much of it unless a person knew people who could afford this "luxury". "I remember you telling me that you wanted to see if the mists were more agreeable than ice and snow, and that you so far had no regrets with the trade, but why not another planet where the sun is always shining and that water is around?" Franz asked with genuine curiosity, as after all, in her shoes, he might have chosen a more agreeable planet, he supposed but alas that wasn't him and this was her, although she was under no obligation to reply at all if it were for personal reasons, which was why he did not hesitate to let her know. "If it's something you prefer not to talk about, you don't have to." He reassured her sincerely with a warm smile, though yes he was still curious for he did want to get to know her.

Lakehouse - Pool
Elikapeka arches an eyebrow inquisitively when Lily says that she is sure that the kitchen is not as PG as the pool, and adds that she is not responsible for whatever it is that is or has happened in the kitchen. Deciding she probably doesn't need or want to know what the story with the kitchen is, Elika settles for frowning in exaggerated sympathy and tells Lily, "Aw, I'm sure you'll survive beautiful, and then shrugs her shoulders as she grins and says, There'll be other pool party weekends I'm sure, so there's that, right?"
Cringing and offering Crystal an apologetic smile after being asked if she really needed to bring up the public lap dancing incident, Elika says sheepishly, "Sorry hon', and then shakes her head with a laugh as Lily and Crystal begin bantering together. Tilting her head to press her cheek closer against Delaana's hand, Elika smiles when asked not to frown, whispering, Anything for you, my Ceesi, and then closes her eyes as Delaana leans forward to kiss her. Sighing wistfully after the kiss ends, Elika squeezes Delaana's hand back when told that her worry that Delaana might not be enjoying herself is unfounded, clearly relieved to hear that is the case. Shaking her head when asked if there is anything else she herself might want to do, Elika says with a kittenish smile, Nope, I'm really rather quite happy here with you, my Ceesi. Keeping a hold of Delaana's hand, Elika leads the way towards the pool, stopping beside the garden to bend down and pluck a flower which she then tucks behind one of Delaana's ears with a smile. Once she reaches the side of the pool, Elika sits, dangling her feet in the pool as she asks Delaana, Did you want to swim some more, or tan maybe?"

Lakehouse - Pool
When Lukas had thanked him for the apple juice and heard the lil man's excited reply about the swim, Ryan had given him a thumbs up and he had inclined his head in Ice's direction when she told him that they would come find him later. Ice was like family anyways to him, as after all she was Alisha's cousin and that automatically made her family. Also earlier, Ryan had noticed when he had handed her the beer that Ice had requested, the lack of ring on her finger. Obviously something must have happened and even if Ryan did have an inkling as to what, he wasn't about to rattle any bones, for after all Lily had declared a no drama day.
Now he was by the bar with Lily in his arms and he smiled before glancing at his sister when Crystal urged Lily to go swim with him before some inevitable happened, which wouldn't, truth be told, there was no way he was going to toss Lily into the pool, and just when he was about to reply, he noticed that Ali had come out of the lakehouse and looked, simply put, frustrated. Ryan's eyebrows shot up upon finding out why Ali seemed tense and he blinked a few times before laughing. "Wow..." He commented not with sarcasm but more with disbelief, although it appeared that his girlfriend was going to do something about it, which was why Ryan released her when she requested it.
Preferring not to reply to his sister's rhetorical statement about how she and Lily had remained friend this long, Ryan rubbed the back of his neck with an amused expression. "That must have taken that much of willpower from Ares to not cave in..." Ryan commented to no one in particular and as he waited for Lily to come back, he grabbed a beer to sip it before looking at Lily when she returned. Ryan shrugged nonchalantly preferring, again, not to reply to that and he smirked when he finally got the answer about her joining him for a swim. He lifted both of his hands to indicate that he wasn't about to toss anyone at all and instead he put his beer down and just turned towards the pool making sure that he was at the shallow part before diving in.
He did a lapse to return to the other side or at least nearing towards where Ice and Lukas were and he looked expectantly at Lukas considering that his mom still seemed busy talking with the identical twins. "C'mon lil man, let's have some fun and let the adults do all the serious talking." Ryan smirked and glanced at the three adults there before glancing back at Lukas gesturing for him to come over. Though he did look at Ice with a warm and trusting expression, he'd keep Lukas safe and would be careful too, that much his gaze promised.

Ali barely had time to nod her head in acknowledgement of Crystals assurance that nobody was getting tossed into the pool when Lily gestured for her to get of the bar stool while telling her that she should've taken off her top just to tease Ares some more. When Lily took her hand, Ali glanced back at Crystal who suggested that she follow Lily because the lawyer wouldn't stop until the case was won. Grinning with a chuckle, Ali followed Lily into the house to the kitchen where they found Ares still fussing over the cake batter. Ali did a mental happy dance as she silently noted that he was now shirtless and his hair was wet while Lily had some choice words for him about leaving the batter be for now while she pushed him out of the kitchen. Ali followed along with Lily leading them to the guest bedroom saying that she didn't want to hear any complaints and definitely didn't want Ali to have a drink because he chose cake making over her. The brunette lawyer then forbade either of them to step outside until they had happy faces.
As Lily left the room, the door closing behind her, low romantic music began playing through the stereo systems speakers. Ali folded her arms across her chest while she listened to the song for a few seconds before laughing lightly with her gaze on Ares. With a more serious look crossing her features, she moved closer to him placing a gentle hand along side his jawline as she spoke in a low soft tone.
"I'm sorry, chéri. We don't have to do this right now. I know you have a lot on your mind and you don't need me playing the neglected lover." She smiled softly before dropping her hand and tilting her head a little to the side as she continued with the smallest hint of humor in her voice. "Knowing our attorney friend a little more, like I do now, I probably should've known she would try to fix this when I walked out there and jokingly asked for that drink."

Lakehouse — Kitchen
Ares had turned on the oven to pre-heat it and was now placing the batter in a mold that would then turn into a cake, he did that for two others, that way there would be enough cake for everyone and hopefully it would taste just as good considering that he had been very preoccupied while doing all of this. Just when he was about to put the molds into the oven, he noticed that Lily had come to his view with Alisha in tow. Ares didn't even had the time to say a single word, he didn't even have the time to react when she practically pushed him out of the kitchen...
He was stumped, to say the least and he was blinking a few times listening, it seemed to what Lily was saying and he even tilted his head on the side and pursed his lips because he clearly was dumbfounded right now, and she even had to put some music on before leaving the room he currently was in with Alisha.
Ares looked at his fiancée with amusement but at the same time in grave silence before feeling her hand on his jawline. She apologized, why would she apologize? Ares continued to look at Ali, his gaze darkened and he reached out behind her to lock the door securely before capturing her lips in a passionate kiss. "I am not sorry..." Ares muttered in between kisses before wrapping his arms entirely around her to pick her up on the ground and leading them both to the bed there doing exactly what he wanted to do since that moment in the kitchen...
Entirely sated, Ares had his arm wrapped around her and he was laying on his side toying with a strand of hair of Ali and he smirked looking at her before chuckling in amusement. "I bet it was as difficult for you like it was for me..." Leaning to peck her lips and chuckling again, Ares checked at his chrono and smirked once more. "I should have known that I wouldn't hold off till tonight..."

Lukas looked up from his cartoons, when he heard a splash in the pool, to see Ryan swimming laps. His eyes lit up when Ryan swam to the side of the pool closest to him and motioned for him to get in the water.
Pulling his lower lip between his teeth, Lukas looked up at Ice hopefully.
"Mommy, can I go wif Wyan?"
Momentarily glancing away from Andros, Ice smiled warmly at her son before nodding in approval. Grinning widely at her, Lukas set the datapad aside as he scrambled to his feet and over to the edge of the pool to an awaiting Ryan. Sitting down on the edge of the pool, Lukas dangled his legs in the water and held out his arms toward Ryan with a look of excitement on his small features. Ice smiled at both of them, briefly meeting Ryan's gaze with a knowing confidence that Ryan would be true to his silent promise and keep Lukas safe while he was in the water. Looking away from the pool, she met Andros' gaze again with the same neutral expression from before.

Lakehouse — Pool
Atlantis was looking and listening to the interaction between Ryan and Lukas in particular, of course, Atlantis should have known Ryan liked kids and therefore he really was the guy who would willingly spend some time with kids whenever he wanted to. Atlantis then had his gaze turned towards the bar and even though he did not have Franz's legendary hearing, Atlantis could still read on lips, and he had to bite his lower lip to stop himself from laughing because Lily was being Lily again and dragging away Alisha to solve that case. He looked back at Ice with gaze filled with amusement and pointed at the brunette leaving with Alisha. "That would be the lawyer." Atlantis indicated knowing that perhaps that was something Ice had wanted to know to who Atlantis had been referring to about the said lawyer earlier.
Turning his head and noticing that his brother had joined them, Atlantis looked at Andros with amusement still, and despite everything that had been happening, Atlantis could see that Andros seemed well rested and was currently enjoying himself. Until that statement, Atlantis internally cringed and sure he could understand why Ice had reacted that way since Andros wasn't the easiest kind of man to deal with but at the same time he really didn't know how Andros would react to begin with. So to thaw it all out, Atlantis smiled briefly and wrapped his arm around his brother's shoulder.
"Matters in the past, Andros, but information came from her which were relayed to you by Ares and Ryan on that day..." Atlantis said nonchalantly before shrugging as he removed his arm from his brother's shoulders again and patted Andros' thorax briefly. "Either way, nothing you should be concerned about, they are gone from here, you made it a mission to obliterate that place, and now it's a renewal." Atlantis left it at that before looking back at Ice, he didn't know much about her personally but considering how she had replied to his brother, he could assumed that she wasn't the kind of person to let anyone step on her but since he knew Andros best, Atlantis really didn't want a growing tension already.
"C'mon, why don't we all take a swim and perhaps get to know one another better, since after all," Atlantis looked back at Ice with a friendly and genuine warm smile. "You have said that you wanted to meet all of us, unfortunately for you," Atlantis gestured to everyone or nearly everyone herewith present around the pool. "We come in packages." He laughed and looked back at his brother and inclined his head briefly to let him know that he shouldn't fuss too much about the whole deal. If Andros preferred to stay in a corner, then that was up to him, nothing more and nothing less. It was Andros' prerogative and there was no way Atlantis would want to change his brother for the world.

Lakehouse - Pool
Blowing a kiss to Baby Girl when she tells me that life would be so boring without me around, I wink at her playfully soon after before removing my dress as I watch Hot Stuff dive into the pool and urging Lukas to join him too. For a moment there, I just watch Ryan and his interaction with the kid, because I do find it cute and Ryan looks so adorable right then and there. Halting momentarily when Gorgeous reiterates that there will be other events around the pool where I don't need to perhaps keep it PG, I smile knowingly, because we certainly do need to have more pool parties and hopefully kids won't be around, at least if there is a kid, I am hoping that it ends up being Baby Girl and Lover Boy's.
... But that aside, looking dubiously at Baby Girl when she asks me how much her brother has completed in the kitchen, I recall many things, Totally not PG, so let's forget about that ... "Hmmm, actually, Lifting my index finger up with a knowing smile before looking around to see where Pookie is actually located, but he seems busy with his Vixen, though, I don't want to take any chances so I move closer to Crystal and lower my tone. in a mold, three of them and he was preheating the oven already."
Quite honestly? I am surprised Ares has completed that much since when I have walked up to the kitchen, the man had seemed bothered, no doubt that was due to Alisha before she ever came back to the pool but to my delight, none of them are coming back out in this area, which makes me giggle knowingly. I should probably wait a little while longer before screaming victory ... As after all, just a few minutes has gone by.
"What? Dubiously looking at baby girl, as I am sure that there is a reason why she has asked that question and knowing her, she might pick up where her brother has left off. Do you want some help in there?" I genuinely ask, after all what better way to know how the couple in there is faring than by being inside of the lakehouse, right? Right ... Giggling at the thought, I purse my lips to stop myself from commenting further because knowing myself, that's going to be rated R.

While her attention was exclusively onto Elikapeka, Delaana still managed to pay close attention to what was happening around her. After all, it was one of the things she knew how to do best, always being aware of her surroundings while being focused onto someone in particular. Lana had caressed Elika's cheek with her own thumb while keeping her gaze onto the architect. "Glad to hear it." Lana smiled warmly, glad to know that Elika would stop frowning about what Lana might want or might not do, after all if she did want to do something, she would let Elika know and Lana expected the same treatment. "I have a deal for you, my Shakal, if and when I end up wanting to do something else, I'll let you know?" Smiling once more, like she had said previously, Lana was very content in spending this time with Elika and that wasn't going to change at all.
Following Elika willingly towards the edge of the pool, they stopped briefly and Lana looked at Elika dubiously before noticing what she was doing. Giving her hand a gentle squeeze, Lana briefly looked on the corner to see the flower after she had sat down. Taking the flower in her fingers delicately, Lana smelled it and looked at Elika with a warm smile. "Maybe later?" Lana said softly before smiling and looking at the flower in her hand and then back at Elika with a knowing expression. "I am going to grasp this opportunity and just talk with you and stay by your side, besides," Lana looked back at the flower with a grin. "Wouldn't want this beauty to be drenched from my swimming, right?" Winking playfully at Elika, Lana put the flower back behind her ear and smiled again.
"You haven't told me, any cuisine in particular you wished to eat tomorrow evening?" That would help indeed in knowing, plus it was one of those things that Lana really wanted to know about too.

Lakehouse
When Elika apologized from bringing up Crystal's lap dancing in a public place, Crystal looked at her poking her tongue out playfully before laughing softly and looking around the pool to check if anything or something was needed but what she saw there, Ryan with Ice's son made her smile warmly. Ryan seemed to be great with children and it made her look at her childhood friend with a playful expression. Before Crystal could go through with her thought of hers, Lily had answered her question about what Ares had done insofar.
Three cakes...
Crystal guessed that she should definitely take care of that considering that Alisha had not come back and that only meant one thing, and it certainly was something that amused Crystal because Lily had succeeded, she supposed. Waving her hand, Crystal looked at her childhood friend and pointed at the deck. "Nope, no help needed from you Baby Girl," Arching her eyebrow knowing why Lily perhaps had offered her help to begin with, Crystal pointed at the pool in general. "You stay here, and who knows perhaps you will have an idea on perhaps being the first one out of the two of us."
Crystal smiled teasingly and looked at her youngest brother who was with Lukas over there and she shrugged playfully. "Your boyfriend seems to like children, I bet he would make a great dad." Winking at her childhood friend, Crystal turned on her heels and made a pit stop next to both Elika and Lana. "Do me a favor you two, whatever happens, do not let Lily go inside, please." Crystal murmured softly before laughing and rolling her eyes playfully before standing upright again and checked around to grab her orange shirt on the lounge seat she had been occupying.
She had caught Atlantis' gaze momentarily and indicated to him that she was heading inside in the kitchen in particular. She knew that he was smart anyways, and he could very well figure out on his own that she had gone inside to finish the cake that Ares had prepared and besides Alisha not being here, Crystal supposed that it was telling enough.
Once inside, Crystal tasted the batter finding it good, it wasn't too sweet and it was perfectly balanced. She'd ask Ares to teach her to make desserts, whenever he was done. Putting the three of them into the oven, Crystal sighed softly. Unfortunately for her now that she was away from the ruckus inside, Crystal started to think again, especially about what Alisha had said earlier when she had arrived with her cousin and her fiancé...

Elikapeka smiles with a nod when Delaana says that she will make it clear if and when she wants to do anything, leaning over to whisper beside her ear, "You have a deal, my Ceesi," and then squeezes her hand, willing herself to set her usual anxiety aside so that she can relax about whether or not Delaana is enjoying herself since she can see how it might be off-putting to have someone expressing their worry about that, especially when Elika does not see Delaana as someone who would have any problem coming out and, just like she has promised, simply saying if there is something they would rather be doing.
Giving Crystal a playfully skeptical look that is not without a hint of genuine confusion since Elika has not been following all that has been going on well enough to know the origins of the request when asked to prevent Lily from going back inside the house, Elika says, "We'll do what we can hon', in a tone that manages to suggest that Crystal should be just as aware as Elika of the fact that keeping Lily from doing something she has set her mind on doing is easier said than done, and even though she is curious about the reason for the request refrains from asking, instead giving Crystal a wave as her friend heads back inside the house. Putting an arm around Delaana's waist, Elika laughs with a shrug, admitting, I have absolutely no idea what that's about, before she looks around to see where Lily is while muttering, and I probably don't want to know either. Scooting over closer to Delaana Elika rests her chin on Delaana's shoulder after smiling when Delaana says she wants to stay put for the time being. Reaching up with her free hand to brush some of Delaana's hair behind the flower, Elika smiles and unintentionally answers her question with another question, Do you like seafood? Laughing when she realizes what she's done, Elika crinkles her nose and says, I'm not picky though, so, um, why don't you pick someplace you like for us to go to, my Ceesi?"

Laughing lyrically when Franz claims that now that he knows her walk and laugh he will not need to search long for her should he seek her out in future, Ayodele nods and teasingly asks him, "Am I so indistinguishable in appearance, Franz, that you would need to hear my laugh or see my walk to know it was me and not another you were seeing?" In the event that her failure to leave a break in the conversation for him to reply to her playful question is not enough to signal to Franz that her query was merely a gentle joke, Ayodele reaches out to put a finger to his lips to suggest he remain silent as she shakes her head with an amused smile. Shaking her head once more when Franz thanks her for accepting his invitation, her smile as amused as ever, Ayodele refrains from replying save for with her expression to prevent them from becoming locked in a circular game of thanking one another endlessly.
Glancing upward and to the side reflectively when Franz asks why it was Umgul that she chose to reside on rather than a world known more for sun and water, Ayodele takes a moment to truly consider her answer before she smiles and says truthfully, "We seek the familiar, I suppose. Lifting a hand, her cupped palm upwards, Ayodele flattens her palm and lets the water spill through her fingers as she looks up at the sun with a smile, keeping to herself the reasons why concealing mists or equally obfuscating snows and ice are not only familiar but comforting to her after she has relied on such things for so long to move unobserved and unnoticed among those not of her kind, and then continues, Polus has two suns, though they were hidden as often as not by blizzards or ice storms, and it has oceans too, frozen as they may be. One does not sunbathe or swim on Polus, Franz, so I suppose it is also true that I never knew what I was missing, nor, her dark eyes meet his as she looks from the sky, what I would find here in the mists much to my happy surprise. Laughing, Ayodele adds playfully, And now that I know how much I enjoy the sun and water, Franz, perhaps when next I move it will be to a world such as those you spoke of where the sun always shines and water is all around. Past conversations have left her with the impression that Franz is quite guarded about himself, and so Ayodele asks a light question that he should not perceive as a threat to whatever it is he feels he needs to guard, What of you, Franz? Is Umgul the sort of world you would choose if you could choose, or do deserts or plains or open seas call to you instead?"

Ryan smiled widely when he saw Lukas excited expression and had asked for permission to get into the pool. He looked at Ice with a warm and understanding smile before inclining his head. At least that way Lukas wouldn't be stuck watching whatever he was watching on the datapad and he'd get to have some fun too. The last time Ryan had seen Lukas, he was still a baby and after his life on Honoghr just didn't really get him to socialize as much as he wished, so now he was making up for that.
Laughing when he saw that Lukas was dangling his legs into the pool, Ryan grabbed the kid affectionately and held onto him before looking at Lukas with a knowing smile. "Alright, lil man, you will have to show me all the moves you have learned thus far, cool?" Truth was, Ryan had no idea if Lukas could swim without floaters or anything which was why he was still holding onto Lukas securely, even if Ryan could reach the bottom of this side of the pool, Lukas couldn't. "Can you swim, or do I have to use a secret trick for you to float and swim around without my help?" Again, Ryan knew that Lukas was attuned to the Force but he had no idea if he truly understood it, or if he was thought of it, but still he didn't want to take any chances in letting Lukas go, which was why as he stepped back away from the edge of the pool, Ryan was still holding onto Lukas affectionately.
"Or we can ask for a ball, whichever you prefer, I officially nominate you my pool chief for the day." Ryan still released a bit Lukas but held onto his hands that was if he wanted to kick around the pool if he wished it...

Franz's eyes widened when he realized by Ayodele's question that his statement definitely came out wrong, he even opened his mouth to explain what he meant but instead, he had no other choice but to close his mouth again when she placed a finger on it. He smiled looking at her before chuckling softly realizing that she was only joking and teasing him so to speak. He inclined his head to indicate that he understood loud and clear. Franz kept looking at her until he averted his gaze because he didn't want to make her feel uncomfortable or make her feel that he was scrutinizing her for that long. In that brief moment he looked around the pool and noticed that Crystal was no longer here and that Ryan was with Ice's son in the pool, that made Franz smile, and his smile grew wider when he noticed just how close Elika and Lana were right then and there.
Finally, Franz looked back at Ayodele when she gave him the answer on why she chose this planet to begin with and why not a planet where the sun and water were present. He definitely understood what she meant there in seeking the familiar, though for Franz it wasn't a planet per se. "I do hope nonetheless that you won't be moving any time soon despite your recent realization about the sun and water." Franz smiled sheepishly as he looked at her with a warm expression. After all, it would be a downer for him to begin with if she did up and leave the next day or some time soon, he had already experienced that recently and he supposed that perhaps currently it wouldn't be that hard of a blow to him unlike when Arhiana left but life went on, he accepted and understood that.
Closing his eyes briefly to clear his mind from those unwanted thoughts right now, he shouldn't even be thinking about that when he currently was in Ayodele's company, and truth be told, he was grateful for that question of hers. It allowed him to think of something else, and since he wasn't in a public place so to speak, he could definitely let his guard down and he would do that without trouble. "Truth be told?" Franz chuckled and rubbed the back of his neck, it was a question he had never really thought about, what type of terrain or planet he'd prefer. "I have no idea, as long as it's friendly and I can settle in, I am not too fussy about the choice of planet, as just like you," Franz was looking at his cousins in particular for a moment before he turned his head to look back at Ayodele. "Like you have said, we seek the familiar, and the familiar to me, it's not the planet itself, it's the people."
Franz gestured with his head towards the Vyridian twins in particular, plus there were two others but they currently weren't here. "I told you about my cousin yesterday, well he is my adopted cousin, and he is the Headmaster I was telling you about yesterday." Franz smiled looking back at Atlantis since he was the head honcho of the Mist Order here. "Some of the people in this group constantly reminds me to be true to myself and I honestly do not care what kind of planet we are in as long as I know they are there, you know?"

Lakehouse - Pool
Delaana smiled playfully and knowingly when Elika agreed to her deal, she was hoping in return to set the architect at ease at least and that she shouldn't worry at all or whatsoever about what Lana might want to do or not to do. Truth be told, whatever they were doing, Lana would enjoy it, as it was really one of those times she rarely lounged around or enjoyed to be in a pool doing absolutely nothing for usually she did do things that she preferred not to speak about and not that she was enjoying the simple things in life, she liked it and appreciated it. In parallel though, Lana also knew that she had reason why she was here and it wasn't boring nor was it a stretch for her. So when Elika did agree on that, Lana leaned over to kiss Elika's cheek affectionately before resuming to dangle her legs in the water, enjoying the warmth of it while glancing momentarily around the pool and noticing that Ryan seemed to be keeping Lukas entertained.
Looking at her side soon enough when Crystal crouched there and left her and Elika with a request, Lana smiled, albeit with uncertainty, because after all knowing Lily and her ability to always do and get what she wanted, that might be a tad difficult to do. "What Elika said," Lana agreed before chuckling and looking over to where Lily was standing, though from what Lana did understand and witnessed earlier, distractedly, Crystal really did have a good reason. Lana laughed softly as she looked at Elika with a playful expression. "I do believe, my Shakal, it has something to do with Crystal's brother inside and his fiancée?" Lana left it at that since Elika didn't want to know and clearly, that was something Lana didn't want to expound on but judging from the lack of the couple's presence here after Lily had said a few things to Alisha earlier, Crystal had just taken some preemptive measures.
Grinning playfully when asked if Lana liked seafood, she nodded at that though soon made a face when told that she should pick a place because quite honestly, she was still relatively new on this planet and the best hangouts, she had no clue, though yes she did her homework and studied the layout of the city and everything about it, but those places, she tended not to go to because it wasn't just something she'd rather do on her own. "I do not know much about restaurants around the city, I will have to research that later or tomorrow, and I do hope you will forgive me if that ends up not being a great and tasty place..." Lana made a face again and placed her hand onto Elika's thigh before smiling warmly. "Or I can always ask for some advice..." Lana pondered about that, after all she could always ask Lily and/ or Crystal about places where seafood was great.

Glancing upwards and to her left with a playful smile on her lips when Franz expresses his hope that she will not relocate now that she has experienced the unexpected pleasures of sun and swimming, giving a teasing shrug of her shoulders to jokingly suggest an uncertainty about her future plans that her expression will reveal is simply playful; having relocated to Umgul only relatively recently, Ayodele does not foresee uprooting herself again so soon without something more direly pressing than a newly found appreciation of sunbathing and swimming.
Her eyes remain on Franz's as he answers her question to him of where he might wish to be, evidencing little to no surprise when he says that it is the who rather than the where that draws him, for Ayodele recalls from things he has said before how central a place in his life his friends and family possess. There is a hint of something else in her gaze as well, something perhaps not unlike curiosity or unfamiliarity, since Ayodele is from a species which views family and even friends in ways that would seem alien to most. Members of her species are, with only rare exceptions, solitary by nature, as most predators are, and typically shun even one another's company. Ayodele herself was no different until she decided that she must change if she were to avoid the madness that so often claims those few of her kind that survive as long as she has survived, and the idea of forging relationships with others not based strictly on some clearly defined purpose or end is still relatively new to her. Perhaps, Ayodele cannot help but wonder, it is but another version of the madness that would seem to await all those of her kind that survive so long to think that she can change or, even having changed, become close to others as Franz is close to his friends and family. For can a wolf, however tamed or gentled by choice, ever be accepted by those it had once preyed upon? How long, Ayodele wonders, before Franz or someone that knowing Franz brings near to her orbit senses the otherness of her? And even should she manage to conceal her true nature, Ayodele can glean from how Franz speaks of his friends and family the pain that losing them would bring, and from what she gleans can glimpse what awaits her should she allow Franz or anyone else to become close to her, for time - which has no claim on Ayodele or her kind - will eventually claim anyone not of her kind, taking those she might allow to become dear to her from her, leaving her to walk through time alone once more. Her thoughts suddenly remind her of a half remembered line in a long forgotten poem or play about questioning whether it might be better to know or feel some things than to have never known or felt them, and Ayodele's eyes glimmer with amusement once more as the half remembered line dispels, for now, the lure of surrendering to introspection or the melancholy that can often accompany it. Borrowing from Franz's earlier words to her, Ayodele smiles her amused smile as, following his gaze as he speaks of Atlantis and then of others in his group of friends and family, she teases him, "I believe that I do understand, Franz, and, so, understanding as I now do, I do hope that your people have no plans to uproot themselves and move anytime soon."

Andros closed his eyes briefly when Ice mentioned that family, who Andros just like Atlantis were very much related to because they were Tarkin by birth. He could not help but to grit his teeth at the memory of that as he also remembered kicking the Horica business out of the planet and that rodder of a Floyd, if that was his name to begin with, Andros couldn't quite remember had taken it upon himself to actually kill a worker there right in front of all of them. Sneering at the thought, his gaze darkened as he looked back at Ice and only then, thanks to Atlantis, Andros had been able to pull away from that tumultuous memory.
"And it's something I would do again and if I had it my way, I would erase them from existence." Andros clenched his left fist before looking back at Ice mirroring her neutral expression but soon enough he solely inclined his head, nothing more and nothing less, she could take that action however she wanted, a thanks, an acknowledgement, Andros didn't care at all. Glancing at his identical twin Andros looked up the sky momentarily and took a deep breath before inclining his head again soon enough when he looked back at his brother. But for a moment again, he looked back at Ice silently and without much of an expression before turning around on his heels to leave them be as he preferred to not even take part on any of those conversations to begin with.
Returning to his lounge seat, Andros overheard his datapad and he glanced at the notices on it before closing his eyes briefly. His office had been bombarded by interview requests, something he had foreseen indeed but it was also something he didn't want to get into. Dimming the screen and letting his datapad onto the table there, Andros laid down onto the seat once more covering his eyes with his arm thinking about everything he needed to do. Before that he had noticed previously where the others were standing or who they were with. At least currently, he was in setting where he could try to forget about everything going through his mind and everything happening in his name, supposedly in the city...

Franz continued to look at Ayodele for a long moment in silence after he had looked at Atlantis. There was just something in Ayodele's gaze that often made him wonder what she was thinking about. Often times he'd know the cues but hers, he couldn't really make any assumption as truth be told, despite her constant amusement, due to either his words or behavior, he was wondering if perhaps she was hiding something in that reflective gaze of hers. Not the bad kind, at least that wasn't what he assumed right now, but just something that she preferred not to dwell on. After all, wasn't he the same? Franz often hid his insecurities behind jokes or anything of those things because he just preferred to joke instead of really get a rejection to begin with. Rejections he had plenty and something inside of him refused to experience that again. But Franz also knew that it was part of life and he believed that anything put before him, it was always something he could overcome and get out of it stronger.
He wished, he hoped...
Unable to help himself currently, Franz maneuvered himself so that he was facing her as she was speaking, he placed a hand on the edge of the pool at her side, for a moment he was about to place his other hand on her other side, but he had decided against it, for he didn't want to give her that sense of being trapped. He wasn't like that and he definitely preferred that everything was clear so to speak between the two of them. "My fate is not per se tied to them..." He told her softly looking into her eyes with a warm smile before grasping his courage in both of his hands, or just his free hand there, placing his hand gently onto her cheek, at least hopefully he had managed to do that and didn't make her to pull away, and he leaned over to actually place a gentle peck onto her forehead. "Having a very valid reason to stay won't uproot me from here any time soon..." Pulling his head back, Franz looked at her after his sincere statement and he just smiled knowingly before dropping his hand from her cheek and slowly returning to where he was leaning against to begin with.

Opening my mouth looking theatrically shocked at being grounded here by Baby Girl, I close my mouth soon enough noticing that her brother, the one not busy inside, is busy with Ice's son. "So that is how it's going to be huh? Narrowing my eyes and looking at her somewhat in a threatening fashion, although I am totally faking it, and she knows me enough to know about that. I will admit you got me there, but game on, Baby Girl ..."
Turning around to see Ryan definitely getting along with Lukas, I smile at the pair right there in the pool. Something does indeed tell me in his behavior that he would make a great dad, especially with what I know about his relationship between Ryan and Virgil, Hot Stuff as a dad ... Putting a break onto my thoughts right then and there, my eyes widen because that would mean so many implications, plenty that I am so not ready for.
In the want and need to step away from all of those things, I just decide to make a beeline towards the bar and settle myself there to have another drink, still with that inclination to actually head inside and check out that particular status report. And the cakes, to a very lesser degree ... Giggling at the thought, I turn around and smile widely at Gorgeous and the Hapan Bombshell starting to make indoors. "I'll be right back ..."
