Usually, there is something I am good at; that often brings me to be the pushy kind, or even try to pull people I care about out of their thoughts and make them think of something else. That is usually. Right now though, I have no idea what to say or even tell gorgeous because I can see clear as day that she is so ready to pull a runner on all of us but she doesn't and I am sure that I have to thank baby girl for that, as she was the one that brought gorgeous out here in the speeder.
I am no doc, how am I supposed to know what to say or not to say ...? To think that Ryan has just left and he probably would do a better job in these circumstances, but knowing him he might have thought that gorgeous is in good hands, but I am only speculating, and speculations are not good ...
When Franz turns around and asks us if we are still wanting to go at the spa, right that moment, I do not even know what to reply, I do still want to go but I should probably let the others decide, maybe gorgeous or even baby girl and before I open my mouth to say something though, I notice that Franz is wearing his cloak with the hood on, which would cause me to tease him about it, but not now, not this instant because this is serious and gorgeous is somewhat busy, or she is only faking it, I don't know for sure but at least lover boy is more talkative and he is asking for Elika's hand. I don't get it, he is supposed to be the head honcho of the academy here, shouldn't he maybe have an idea to soothe gorgeous?
That is just my take and I notice clearly that he wants to hand gorgeous something, that is if she accepts it, and whatever that thing he is holding, wasn't that in his lightsaber? I saw him breaking apart his lightsaber when I walked out of the lakehouse, I do not understand why he even did that to begin with but I guess that he must have had a reason ... I have to trust in that. "So ... Should we go or does someone here has a case of Saturdayitis?" I ask everyone and no one in particular just to pass the time because the silence right now is a little unbearable. Either way, I will defer to their judgment, I'll go where everyone wants to go.

The first thing Crystal had seen when she stepped outside of the house was Atlantis deconstructing one of his lightsabers. She recognized that hilt, since he had reconstructed that lightsaber once after he had retrieved that particular crystal from his brother. Apparently it had helped Andros greatly to clear his mind from any distractions and it allowed him to focus onto something, just about anything in a peaceful manner. And now it looked like Atlantis was handing that crystal to Elika to keep for the day or for however long she wanted that was if she even took it.
Also right that moment, Franz put on that cloak on and even hooded himself. That cloth was familiar, Crystal knew who that used to belong to and she was even about to ask Franz if he had heard anything about her dad but she saw his expression, plus with that short sentence, question he asked, she figured that it wasn't the best time at all.
Closing eyes briefly and trying to just think of something positive, Crystal took a deep breath and waited to see first if Elika would take that said crystal to reply to Franz's question. Thankfully though, Lily had asked that question which made her bite her lower lip before rolling her eyes playfully.
"Why would anyone have Saturdayitis, right now?" Crystal asked with an amused tone. "I am not dressed for work, so aren't you, and I do not think that sweetie is dressed for work either." She pointed out playfully before pointing at her shredded pants, not something she would wear for work. "We should go at the spa, otherwise I am afraid that Lily's oestrus cycle..." Crystal made a face, and wasn't sure if that was the correct term, so she glanced at Elika who would probably know better considering those medical terminologies she had spouted last night. "Is that even right?" She asked dubiously with genuine curiosity before shaking her head and just ended up saying. "Lily might be frustrated again very soon and if her inner goddess hasn't been shown correct relaxation, then I am afraid that we all might be in trouble very soon."
Yes, she was making it as she went, total and absolute BS from her part, although there was some truth there, but hey everything right now worked at least for Crystal, especially if that meant making Elika feel better. "I also promised you that we would have a day out and night, plus you have already paid, so let's just go and embrace the day and not turn it into a case of Saturdayitis?" Crystal suggested with a warm smile just nudging the architect gently, since after all it all came down to her in a way, Franz did not maneuver the airspeeder towards the city yet and they were still hovering above the lakehouse.

Not so self-absorbed that she has not noticed that Franz has retreated back into the shell that he had been in when they were first reunited in the city yesterday, Elikapeka naturally blames herself for the step backwards Franz has taken which her issues has caused, compounding her frustration with herself; and his asking about whether they still want to go, obviously inspired by her not-as well concealed as she had hoped mood, only further fuels that frustration. Fortunately for both Franz and her, before Elika can lash out with a sarcastic or irritated reply in a classic example of displaced anger Atlantis asks her to hold onto something for him, successfully diverting her attention long enough for her to realize that the last thing she needs is to exacerbate the situation by acting like a sulky teenager. Glancing up from her datapad with a quizzical expression, Elika holds out her free hand to accept whatever it is that Atlantis needs her to hold on to, and watches as he drops a golden hued crystal into her palm. Returning his smile with a mildly bewildered smile of her own, Elika - even though she would normally be curious about what significance the crystal has, or spend time thinking about what giving it to her means, or speculating about where the crystal came from - finds that those little questions or possible trains of thought aren't able to gain any traction, her mental focus remaining instead on the vioflute music she is composing in her head to regain a hold on her anxiety.
By the time Lily and Crystal have joined in the conversation about whether or not they will continue with their plans, Elika's anxiety and frustration have subsided to the point that she does not need to force her far more relaxed tone as, still feeling embarrassed by her behavior, she smiles tentatively and says relatively confidently, "Sounds like a plan hon', count me in." Dropping her datapad into her backpack purse, Elika nearly puts the crystal Atlantis has entrusted her with into the pocket of her sweater, but after hesitating briefly decides to keep it in her hand a while longer, and then looks out the window of their vehicle, not really seeing the scenery as it passes by when they get underway as her focus continues to remain firmly on the mental composing she is doing, which thankfully continues to further quell her anxiety.

Andros glaring, Franz could take that in without problem at all since the younger identical twin always had a glare about him, that wasn't that intimidating for Franz, at least it would depend on the circumstances, but Atlantis glaring at him, that was very unnatural so to speak. Atlantis rarely glared, that was a fact and when he did it was because he was making a point. That point, Franz got it loud and clear and really for the time being he preferred to not even say a thing to turn this situation into an even more awkward situation.
Whatever was going on, Franz could figure that out, he recognized those crystals that Atlantis had taken from his lightsaber and one he was giving to Elika to hold, and despite feeling that he was incapable right now to make people feel better, Atlantis just had to save the day so to speak. There were no hard feelings at all but he figured for the time being, he should just remain silent and stop talking because he really did not want to say anything to cause annoyance again.
Finally hearing the three women's statement, Franz inclined his head slightly before he began to pilot in the direction of Umgul City. "Atlantis, where should I drop you?"

Elikapeka does her best to do as Franz had asked, trying to think calm thoughts for Crystal's sake, only partially succeeding at first because like most beings she is utterly unused to trying to reign her thoughts in. Even though Atlantis had tried to reassure her that both he and Andros have been through worse in the past, Elika cannot help but worry for them both, and for how the negativity and doubt about their characters and actions might impact them as it continues for however long it will continue; but she eventually stumbles onto the strategy of thinking about the designs for the walk-on closets Crystal and Lily have asked her to create for each of them, and that project occupies her, or at least the surface of her consciousness as that is all she can hope to control to any significant degree, for the majority of the journey from the city to their home. Her subconscious mind is churning away all the while of course, pleasant musings mixing with the ever present anxiety that lives within her, tumbling together happy thoughts of how easily she and Delaana were able to acknowledge their attraction for one another, and anxious thoughts of how it is far too early to tell where their mutual attraction might take them when they still have so much to learn about one another and of the many ways they may or may not be compatible. Where Elika might have once been inclined to let such doubts or other thoughts be cause for her to withdraw, she finds that she is not lured to do so now for whatever reason; time perhaps having worn some of the internal spears encircling her to the point of dullness.
Surfacing from her surface thoughts when she feels the B69 descending, Elika turns to look out of the window and sees that they are home. Looking from the window to Delaana, Elika offers her a smile, reaching over to take hold of her hand and squeeze it gently to silently convey her gratitude for staying when she could have chosen not to. As the B69 touches down, Elika decides to take charge since Crystal and Lily both have far more to deal with in terms of all that is going on than she does, and leans forward to tell Franz in a voice that makes it clear she is not giving him a suggestion but an order, "Don't get out, you need to go and do your clothes shopping now so you can get to the coffee shop on time. They have already hashed out the reasons Franz has no need to worry about watching over her for one night when she is safely at home with Andros and Atlantis soon to be there as well, and so Elika does not repeat them now, instead telling everyone else, Everyone else, out. You, she tells Crystal while putting her arm through her friend's on one side after they have all exited the B69 and are heading to the front door, and you, she tells Lily while taking her arm on the other side, go sit down in the living room. Looking over to Delaana, Elika smiles at her as she goes on, Delaana and I will have some wine for you in a minute, and then we'll take care of dinner too."
Once inside the lakehouse, Elika points to the living room with a glare worthy of Andros and tells Crystal and Lily to, "Sit, and then takes Delaana's hand and heads for the kitchen as she says, You, come with me. Laughing as they enter the kitchen, Elika crinkles her nose and admits to Delaana, I wasn't sure that would work, and then holds her hand and looks into her eyes silently for a beat before, shaking her head to clear it from the distracting thoughts that had been running through it, letting Delaana's hand go and turning as she says, Right, wine. Opening a drawer to get a corkscrew, Elika passes it to Delaana, saying, You'll need that, then opens a cabinet and hands her four wine glasses, those, then takes a random bottle of wine from their wine rack, starts to hand it to Delaana and laughs as she says, and I'll bring this since you're out of hands."
Bringing the wine into the living room, Elika takes the corkscrew from Delaana, opens the wine, pours a generous glass for everyone, takes a drink from hers, smiles as she says, "Mmm, Naiana, upon recognizing the taste of the wine she had picked at random. Taking Delaana's hand in her free hand, Elika says, Ok, let's go see what we can do about dinner now," and guides her back to the kitchen.

Throughout the entire ride back home, I am not even speaking, which is highly surprising considering that I am surrounded by friends, but right now, it appears that I am in lawyer mode and I am clearly hating that fact. Way to spoil my weekend, really whoever did that, I hope that I will be facing that person so I can sucker punch him or her, whatever ... It's not the fact that my weekend is spoiled that is annoying the hell out of me, it's the fact that boss man has been targeted. I am very certain that he hasn't done what those two witnesses say he did, but they still saw him, and that would mean that it's a highly skilled assassin or just a twisted Force user who just wants the glory and take advantage of the fact that Umgul is turning out to be a great place to live because of all the changes Andros has implemented ever since entering office, and now they want the whole nine yards. Fabulous ...
Snapping out of my thoughts when I feel the airspeeder coming to a halt, I exit the transport and find myself with gorgeous' arm around mine. Obviously I can see that she is taking charge, but still I am surprised that she is commandeering the whole thing, I guess? Did she just emulate boss man? Blinking a few times when I see her glare, I cannot help to chuckle at what she has just done and just dump my bag onto the ground, before removing my coat and letting that on the back of the couch before glancing at baby girl. "I am sorry that the day is ending this way, baby girl." I know for a fact that she might be the most affected considering her ties to lover boy, but so am I and gorgeous, we care about the two guys, even though gorgeous knows them better than me, I do respect boss man because I know that he is the caring type of guy who doesn't want people to come too close to him for whatever reasons. Glancing at both Elika and Lana when they come back with the wine with an amused expression. "Gorgeous, I know you are the type of person who needs to do something constantly, but really could you at least make yourself comfortable first?" Gesturing to her coat that she seems to be wearing still and so is Lana, and it's really warm inside anyways, so what gives? Rolling my eyes playfully before picking up my glass of wine to take a sip of it, I enjoy the taste of it before removing my shoes to tuck my feet beneath me.
"You slave driver!" I say playfully as gorgeous leaves again with Lana in tow, and that makes me shake my head before adding on after them. "Please do take your time over there, baby girl and I aren't leaving the living room, at all." Gorgeous can interpret that statement of mine however she wants, but I know that she knows me that much anyways to know exactly what I really mean, which causes me to smirk knowingly before getting closer to baby girl and just curl up against her. "Credit for your thoughts, baby girl?" She has been too silent for far too long, so of course I have to ask because I care about her ...

Throughout the whole ride back home, Crystal had been silent, how could not she be when not only she had on her thoughts those accusations that were thrown in both at not only Andros but also Atlantis. Then there was that other thing that Atlantis had told her, something about not even staying in too close to Lyov Entin and Helaine Orlov... Crystal knew that Atlantis had a very valid reason and he said that it concerned her partially too. That part she did not understand at all, since she had never spent her time with them for a long time, the last time she had seen them again was at that diner place and before that it was during her birthday. That was it, Crystal couldn't really understand, not because she did not want to but because she really did not understand at all. She was so much into her own thoughts that right now it was just all chaos and everything about her thoughts made her want to curl up into bed and not even come out.
When they touched down, Crystal did not even notice, and she only noticed that fact when Elika had ordered her to get out, it made her smile somehow, but she did get out and she did follow Elika inside of their home only to be led to the living room. "Is this the part where I should actually start calling you mom?" Crystal asked playfully, although her heart wasn't really in it, but she still listened to Elika and just sat down on the couch there after removing her coat and dropping her bag on the ground.
Lana was a little amused considering that she noticed that Elika had definitely taken charge, although she did understand the reasoning, but at the same time, maybe she should also rest after all Elika did care about the men, she had seen it back at the precinct and the men also cared about her. That much was a given, although she did follow Elika each time Elika took her hand, and she had that small smile on the corner of her lips. "It really was an Andros worthy glare," Lana told her teasingly considering that she did notice that both Lily and Crystal did sit down and actually listened to Elika without protestation at all. Lana gave Elika's hand a gentle squeeze and looked into her eyes briefly before looking away, this clearly wasn't the time nor the place to even start thinking about doing something, but it was tempting, although Lana cleared her throat and nodded to confirm that they were indeed here to take the wine and she got a hold of the four glasses before bringing those back to the living room. Appreciating the wine that she was sipping after Elika had poured some into her glass, Lana briefly looked in her direction. Clearly she was distracted too, but she guessed that it was probably time to return to the kitchen although there was something that Lily had said that made her stop and she indeed realized that she was still wearing her sports jacket, laughing as she and Elika made their way back to the kitchen, Lana finally removed her jacket and placed it on the stool before looking at Elika.
"What do you actually propose for dinner?" Lana asked teasingly as she got a hold of Elika's hand and looked into her eyes for a long time in silence. "I hope you don't mind, but I have been wanting to do this since the restaurant..." Lana said softly as she moved closer to Elika, her eyelids dropping slightly as she placed her other hand onto Elika's cheek to lean over and just give her lips a soft and gentle peck...
In the meantime, Crystal still had her glass of wine into her hand, she had not taken a sip of her drink just yet as currently she did not just want to drink for the fun of it, and she wasn't even sure if this wine was going to comfort her at all. When Lily curled up against her, Crystal turned to look at her childhood friend with tired eyes somewhat and she sighed softly. Leaning her head against Lily's shoulder, Crystal took a deep breath and closed her eyes momentarily, and for this, she lowered her tone because she didn't necessarily wanted for Elika to hear this just yet when Crystal still did not have all of the facts. "Back at the precinct, Atlantis told me that I shouldn't stay for too long next to Lyov and Helaine, but especially Helaine, he said..." Crystal sat up straight again and looked at Lily with a serious expression. "He said that I was partially concerned, hence his warning, but I don't know baby girl, and he also told me to not let you stay around them for too long, and especially not Elika..." Crystal shrugged to tell Lily that she had no further details except the fact that he would explain soon. "He'll explain, maybe tonight. But then again, I just have all of those thoughts in my mind, that I do not even know what I should be focusing on..." Lily asked about Crystal's thoughts, and so she did give those to her, unfiltered all the way. However Lily wanted to take that, as a warning or whatever, her own choice, but considering what Lily thought about that couple after meeting them yesterday, than maybe there was that chance that she would understand too, maybe, as long as Atlantis would explain.

“No, and no,” Elikapeka calls back to Lily and Crystal as she continues walking towards the kitchen, answering their questions in a stern tone that is accompanied by a smile they can’t see about whether she should be called mom now or should make herself comfortable before looking after her friends. Shaking her head with a roll of her eyes when Lily, being Lily, is unsurprisingly unable to resist making one of her patented innuendo laced comments even with all that has happened, Elika gives Delaana a smile and a 'what did I tell you' look as they enter the kitchen.
“It was pretty good, Elika agrees as she crinkles her nose with a pleased smile when Delaana suggests that her glare was on an Andros level of glaringness, wasn’t it? Pursing her lips in thought after Delaana asks what they might make for dinner, Elika’s attempt to come up with an idea for something even she might be able to make is interrupted when Delaana takes hold of her hands and, after apologizing in advance for what she has been wanting to do since the restaurant, rests her hand on Elika’s cheek and kisses her gently on the lips. Keeping her eyes closed for a moment after the peck, a smile both pleased and pleasantly distracted on her lips, Elika feels a flush that has nothing at all to do with embarrassment rising up her neck and cheeks as she absently thinks that, if a simple chaste peck has such an effect on her, there doesn’t seem to be any need to worry about their physical compatibility, assuming, naturally, that it has had a similar effect on Delaana. Resting a hand on Delaana’s shoulder, to steady herself given that her knees feel a bit weak at the moment, Elika opens her eyes and smiles as she tries to think of something to say, eventually managing to convey her thoughts about the kiss clearly enough despite being able to only say, Mmm, and then looks down demurely while biting her lower lip before she tries to speak again, deciding to see if she can manage to string a word or two together by answering the original question Delaana had asked, I, um, think, she steps back, unbuttoning her trench coat as it occurs to her that she feels rather hot, It’s really hot in here, huh? I should probably take off my coat, huh? Laying her trench coat across the back of a stool in front of the kitchen island, Elika says, Right, shaking her head to try and regain full possession of her faculties. Ok, Elika says with a laugh as she recovers enough to focus again, Pasta is pretty easy, right? Walking over to the pantry, Elika roots around for some pasta and sauce as she asks Delaana, Do you mind checking the bread thing over there to see if we have any, um, bread? I think we have garlic in here somewhere we could use to make some buttered garlic bread.”

No ...?! "What do you mean no? Do not say I did not warn you after!" I call out after her laughing since she is going her merry way with the Hapan bombshell, Then again, her choice, if I see her afterwards without her trench coat on, she is so going to get it ... Inwardly smirking at my thoughts, because these are the type of thoughts that I am currently needing right now due to what happened today, which is really a big kill joy, and I am sure that baby girl does have a reason on why she is silent.
Gods, it looks like she is carrying the weight of the galaxy on her shoulders ... From as far as I remember, Kayne has always been like that, when she was thinking too much, she always looked exhausted, which I understand completely in a way because she doesn't think too much about an issue or several when she really doesn't give a drek about it, but this is about lover boy and boss man, at least that is what I am assuming. To my own surprise, it's not what I have just assumed that she is really thinking about, it's about that couple due to the fact that Atlantis warned her earlier about them.
"Hold up a second, baby girl," I start telling her as I lift an index finger to show that I really do need a few moments because I need to take a drink for this, which I do and I completely down the content of my glass actually. Placing the wine glass on the coffee table, I look at her very seriously and with a faint frown. As far as I am concerned, lover boy isn't the kind of guy to dictate his girl on what to do or not to do. That is clearly out of character for him to do so, so if he did issue that type of warning, he really must have a valid reason. "Well it's not like I have tea time with the two of them, but then again, I have always found them fishy anyways, and I do not buy their whole philanthropist crap without them having in mind an endgame." Sure it's a great thing what they are doing for the unfortunate, but there is just that part of me that thinks that they only want to access the elite and be in the inner circles of Umgul's most acclaimed and powerful, and Helaine is really getting on my nerves whenever I hear her childish voice and plaster saint persona.
... And yes I am very judgmental bla bla bla, although I am rarely wrong about people anyways. I may probably get a glare from baby girl, but it's something I have to ask, which is why I look at her making a face. "Doesn't the guy remind you a little or too much of him?" I am sure that she will know who I am talking about, but really it's too much of a déjà vu for me, and there is a possibility that baby girl feels the same, although she did not witness everything considering that she left the planet before everything had happened.

When she pulled away from the peck, Lana opened her eyes and looked at Elika for a long moment with a warm smile. Despite the fact that she wanted to kiss her more, Lana knew that she had to pull away otherwise, the cooking might not happen immediately. Her first reflex though had been to pull her free hand onto Elika's waist when she felt Elika's hand on her shoulder. "Mhmm," Lana said softly before removing her hand from Elika's cheek as she continued to look at her before adding on. "You can say that again." Her tone was sincere but also teasing, and obviously she wouldn't mind or really wouldn't be against for that to happen again, maybe later. Releasing Elika entirely, Lana watched her with an amused smile as she removed her trench coat, remembering Lily's words before entering the kitchen. But since Lana did not want to comment on that especially that it sounded to her that Lily really was going to be teasing Elika at some point about that, Lana just kept her silence and just settled to listening to Elika while looking at her. "Pasta is indeed easy, but it's also fast to cook..." Lana said thoughtfully before glancing at the time on the wall chrono in the kitchen. It was early, unless they did eat early.
"No problem," Lana said as she walked towards the recipient of where they stored their bread. "I did say earlier that you should show me the spots." Winking playfully before finding the bread, Lana brought that over to where Elika was and just placed it on the kitchen plan. "I don't want to sound bad, but," Lana nibbled her lower lip faintly wondering how she was going to say this. "Although I am not complaining to having you all for myself right now," She sincerely said with a knowing smile. That much it was a fact, she was just comfortable around Elika. "Wouldn't you rather spend some time with them? It's just that pasta can be done ten minutes tops and whatever sauce you have in mind, add another ten minutes." That was if the latter was going to be homemade of course, otherwise, just overall ten minutes. Since Lana knew that Elika was really close to Lily and Crystal, she was certain that Crystal was very affected, just like Elika, unless she was reading this the wrong way and just like Lily had said, perhaps Elika preferred to be constantly doing something. Whichever the woman decided, Lana was still going to be there and she did not hesitate to actually show that by just placing her hand on Elika's lower back and just rubbed her there gently to soothe her knowing that indeed Elika had been affected by the whole ordeal too.
Back in the living room, Crystal had finally decided to take a sip of her Naiana wine while listening to her childhood friend. Obviously with how Lily had replied about what Crystal had said previously, she wasn't too surprised. Lily made it blatantly clear yesterday how she felt about Lyov and Helaine and now she really was saying what's what. Crystal was about to take another sip of her wine but she stopped midway as she glanced at Lily with a faint frown and soon glare when she brought up that guy. He was the bane of her existence and clearly everything he had done in the past, Crystal wanted nothing to do with it. But now that Lily had brought it up, on how Lyov somehow reminded her of her stepfather, Crystal placed her glass down due to the fact that if she kept holding it for too long, she might break the glass with how she was clenching it.
"Well respected man on the outside but inside, a sniveling and manipulative kind?" The first part was a fact but the second part it was completely an assumption, Crystal did not want to know and clearly the whole analogy was unnerving to her. If Lyov was just like that expletive stepfather of hers, then that really was raising a red flag for her. But what about Helaine? Was she just trapped in that relationship or was she the one manipulating him somehow? Crystal did not know and she actually did not want to know but with Atlantis' warning, it really was something she really did not want to discover any time soon. Although now that she was thinking about it, maybe they had that rapport of dominant and submissive, despite their appearance of Helaine maybe taking the shots... Other thoughts that were piling up, just great, maybe she should just stop and wait for what Atlantis had to say first and foremost. "I really hate this guessing around and not knowing..." Crystal said with a faint sigh before picking up her glass again and downing her wine, she refilled both her and Lily's glass again and leaned back against the couch comfortably.
But in the want and in need to actually occupy her mind, Crystal glanced at Lily again and nudged her childhood friend teasingly. "What do you think that they are going to cook, that is if of course they manage to get to cooking." Smiling playfully before taking a sip of her wine, despite being in the midst of this chaotic splat, Crystal found a silver lining somehow, and she was really happy for Elika, truly and deeply.

Standing still for a moment to enjoy the way being close to Delaana makes her feel, Elikapeka looks over at her with an appreciative smile for the simple comfort the back rub provides while doing her best to accept the gesture without wanting more than what is being offered; it seems strange, almost disorienting to her, to have found, unlooked and unasked for, the possibilities that have opened up between her and Delaana amid the equally unexpected tension laden situation that has unfurled itself and threatens Atlantis and Andros, impacting Crystal the most among all those, like Elika herself, that care for the twins. It feels selfish to want to explore what she and Delaana have found, that desire conflicting with Elika's desire to do what she can for Crystal and the twins even though she knows that, ultimately, there is little she can do aside from offer her support and understanding. Crystal and Lily have known one another for long time, and Elika therefore feels that Lily is more likely than she to know what Crystal wants or needs at such a time, and so, her anxiety reasserting itself, Elika moves to continue gathering what she needs to make the meal she has planned from the pantry as she tells Delaana in an uncertain tone, "I think maybe we should give them a little while longer to themselves? Lily is better at staying calm than I am, at least for the moment. I feel like I should be doing something, you know? But since I can't do anything to change what's happened, or to undo it, at least I can be useful by making something to eat. Setting the spices and ingredients for the sauce on the kitchen island, Elika opens the fridge to take out the vegetables she'll need to make the sauce, as well as those she can use to make a salad. We can at least get everything started, Elika says as she starts searching for the pots, pans, and bowls she will need, anyway. That way it'll be ready when everyone gets hungry."
Resting against the counter near the sink, Elika rubs her temples, her thumbs keeping her sleeves in place, as she says, "This all just feels so . . . surreal, like it should be something we're all just watching on a holovid, not something that's actually happening, you know? Laughing and shaking her head, Elika pushes away from the counter and starts unwrapping the meat she'll use in the sauce so she can cook it, beginning to babble, I mean, framing Andros for murder? Who would do that? Why would they do it?"

Wincing internally considering that I notice very clearly that baby girl has been annoyed, more than annoyed actually, by my analogy between Lyov Entin and that infamous Derak Athos, the politician who gained the favor of the people by doing great things but at the same time crossing out the competition one way or the other, I nod at her description. Evidently, what do I know about Lyov and his mate, would she even be qualified as such. Mate? Never mind ... "Something like that ..." Shrugging because I am not even sure how he is in the intimacy of his home, but it really does seem familiar, except that I do not want to know, as obviously baby girl has been a witness of that more or less throughout her childhood and teenage years, and I was only a bystander, but still, it doesn't change the fact that I clearly do not want anything to do with that couple.
"Although, it's making me wonder, do you think it has something to do with lover boy's warning and boss man's supposedly crimes?" It's the only thing I can think of, but for the time being those are only assumptions, that I will grant whomever might tell me off, but still my gut feeling will remain, simple as that and no one can really change my mind nor my feelings about that pair. I am sure that sooner or later, lover boy will get to the bottom of it, this is his brother the press and that ridiculous lawyer is talking about. There is just no way that Atlantis is going to leave that aside. I do agree with baby girl's statement that the guessing around and not knowing is annoying right now and I should probably stop with my alcohol consumption if I do want to get to the files I have asked from that paralegal, whoever that was. But considering that might take some time to compile, I could probably have another glass or two? Yeah ... Picking up my wine glass to take a sip of my drink, I look at the bottle and notice that it is empty. Making a face at that, I look at Kayne with an amused grin since I can only oblige with her wanting to change the subject.
"Let's ask," I say with a mischievous smile, after all I do have a valid reason, we do need another bottle of wine and I did promise gorgeous that baby girl and I wouldn't leave the living room at all. "Gorgeous! We need another bottle of wine! Do not make me go to the kitchen!" So I might have spoken very loudly but how else would she be able to hear me? I definitely laugh at that because I am quite aware that I am being ridiculous, but hey it's better to warn her than me barging in there and interrupt the two. Who knows what they really are currently doing ...

Delaana understood where Elika was coming from, and it made great sense indeed. From what she understood a while ago during lunch when she had been fortunate to be invited by Lily and Crystal to join them, the two higher ups within the government grew up together, and had known one another a while ago, and then she had been informed that they did live together with another person, in this case, Elika but Crystal and Lily had only met her in Umgul. Although the two childhood friends only ever said good things about Elika and she could tell that they all cared that much about one another. She understood Elika's reasoning, although she clearly got loud and clear from Lily that Elika always needed to do something constantly. Lana wasn't faulting her for that, she was the same way anyways, which was why she smiled warmly and nodded in understanding. "I know this might not mean much, especially with what you have just said but," Lana smiled while keeping her gaze onto Elika, she could tell that the whole matter attached to Andros and Atlantis had really that much of an impact on Elika. "Despite all of that has happened, I am very sure that they appreciate knowing that they have your support." It was a sincere statement, and there was nothing better than having those type of people that knew them best.
Nodding in understanding, Lana helped out to gather everything they needed to prepare the dinner, and she even got a hold of the chopping board to cut the meat into smaller pieces but before she started doing that, Lana put the knife down and glanced at Elika who was still wrapping her mind around the events that occurred today, especially on who wanted to frame Andros. "I may not have the right answers, or even if you want me to answer that," Lana began to say thoughtfully with a faint frown, as she was wondering if those were rhetorical questions or just thinking out loud, but either way, Lana might have an idea or two. "Andros is the Vice-Governor of Umgul, and as such, he is constantly a target of several critics. Who would want to frame him? Someone who potentially aspire to take his place, and just undermine everything he has done insofar." Lana did not know much about Andros, but she knew enough, enough to know that he wouldn't do such thing at all. "And it might not stop there, sooner or later, whoever really did that might frame the Senator too." It was just a venture guess, already the targets had been made obvious, Andros the murderer, Atlantis the one covering up with the help of UPD. Someone, with enough influence was trying to raise the population against everything that stood for good. She was about to carry on, but she overheard Lily screaming about needing another bottle. Which caused Lana to look at Elika with a faint amused smile. Despite the seriousness of the ongoing conversation, Lana felt somewhat relieved in a way for that reprieve, and maybe it was what Elika needed too. "You should probably go, oh and for the record." Lana started to say with a wider smile this time and she even added a wink as she added on. "She is dead on about how she calls you." And with that Lana finally started to chop the meat into pieces for the sauce...
Crystal had been thinking about what Lily had said after she yelled out in Elika's direction because they needed another bottle of wine. Again she had been silent mulling over that piece of information delivered by Lily. It was now making Crystal wonder as well, but she had no tangible proof right now, on paper the couple seemed to be appreciated by Umgul's elite and they were very turned towards making good deeds for the unfortunate, but what if those were just a ploy? In order to move the population, in order to gain their favors so that Lyov or Helaine could bring down the current government? Lily's assumption somewhat fit that pattern, look good and make the others look bad, just like her own stepfather would do.
"Too early to tell, baby girl." Crystal admitted thoughtfully although there was some facts that were still unsettling for her... She guessed that only time would tell or Atlantis would let her know everything and why he did issue that warning to her and to transmit to her housemates but especially Elika it seemed. It made sense she guessed, that Atlantis stressed his warnings to Elika. Crystal didn't like to see it that way, but it did look like yesterday that Elika always gave the benefit of the doubt, for which Crystal admired her for, while Lily said things as they were and she in turn had the Force, not that the planet knew it, but only a handful of course, she never used her abilities in the open and she certainly never passed up as attuned to the Force anyways. "By the way, baby girl," Crystal nudged her childhood friend teasingly before rolling her eyes exasperatedly somehow. "You are such a bitch, what if you did interrupt the two of them with your yelling huh?" Crystal looked at Lily with a have you thought about that? kind of look before laughing softly and shaking her head. Either way, she was thankful for having Lily here, as even in the middle of something serious, she always had a punch line to deliver that amused Crystal.

Elikapeka smiles as best she can when Delaana reassures her that her support, as little as it seems to amount to in Elika's mind in the face of all that is going on, is sure to be appreciated, and then, after filling a large pot with water and setting it on the stove to boil, begins peeling and seeding tomatoes as she considers what Delaana has theorized, finding to her dismay that it does make sense in light of all that has been happening in the holonews. Targeting Andros as the first step in a larger plot to discredit the government so someone might then try and step in to replace it, as much as Elika does not want to admit it, is an insightful choice; no matter how decent Andros is, or how much he has the best interests of the citizens of Umgul at heart, the way he carries himself in public at most times does little to suggest those qualities that make him a good representative of the citizenry while also unfortunately making it easy for those that do not know him well to believe he is capable of the darkness his demeanor suggests he has within him. "We'll just have to hope that the Jedi and the UPD can figure out who is behind it all before they can succeed," Elika says with as much conviction as she can muster, voicing her thoughts aloud as much to share them with Delaana as to try and convince herself that accomplishing that goal will be as easily achieved as it is to put into words.
Dropping a handful of the peeled and seeded tomatoes into a bowl, Elika shakes her head with a laugh when Lily shouts for another bottle of wine to be brought out for her and Crystal. Wiping her hands on a towel, Elika shouts back, "Right away Beautiful! and then smiles when Delaana tells her that Lily's nickname for her is an accurate one, leaning forward to rub her nose against Delaana's as she says, You're so sweet. Biased, but sweet. After selecting a second bottle of Naiana wine from the wine rack, Elika rests her hand against Delaana's cheek and smiles kittenishly as she says, Now, her nickname for you, on the other hand, is definitely and completely true. Crinkling her nose, her eyes dropping from Delaana's eyes to her lips, Elika tells her, Don't worry though, I'll come up with one of my own for you soon I'm sure. Biting her lower lip and successfully resisting the urge to steal a kiss before she goes to deliver the wine, Elika looks at Delaana through her lashes and says, I'll be right back, don't go anywhere" and then walks backwards a few steps while smiling at Delaana before she turns and walks into the living room.
Holding the bottle of wine up in her best imitation of a showroom model displaying something shiny and bright, Elika says, "Here you are, I thought we'd stick with the Naiana for now. Kneeling to pick up the corkscrew from the coffee table, Elika uses it to open the bottle of wine and then refills Lily and Crystal's glasses with a flourish before asking with an arched eyebrow, Anything else? Sitting on the edge of the couch beside Crystal, Elika rubs her back comfortingly as she asks her, How are you feeling hon'? Is the wine helping any? We're going to get dinner, nothing I can mess up too terribly, so don't worry, she jokes with a smile, Just some pasta with salad and bread, we'll have it all ready to start cooking soon, but we'll hold off until later, so just let us know when you're hungry, Ok?"

Considering the matter settled, at least temporarily, until I get further details from either baby girl or lover boy, although highly doubtful from the latter, I only am hoping right now that baby girl will tell me. Right now though, I am finishing the last of my wine before putting the glass down on the coffee table there, and I look at Kayne when she tells me that I probably interrupted the two in the kitchen. "Is this the part where I am supposed to feel bad?" I ask with a shocked face completed with my hand over my chest ... Okay, nope, baby girl is right, Soon enough I make a face, since there is a high possibility that I might have perhaps interrupted them but soon enough, I hear gorgeous yelling back at me, and I cannot help laughing at that.
"Well there you go, besides, I am sure that it's not that big of a deal, they can surely pick up where they have left off ..." Waving my hand dismissively but I do have that mischievous expression on my features, until I see gorgeous emerging from the kitchen holding the bottle of wine that I have requested as if she is showcasing it. Although I am temporarily focused on that, I also notice her lack of still wearing her coat. Looking at her with a sly expression when she asks me or us if we need anything else, I shake my head and purse my lips momentarily before saying teasingly. "So it did get hot in the kitchen, huh?" Giggling at the thought and picking up my refilled glass, I lift it in gorgeous' direction as if I am toasting. "Well did you two get to first base, or not yet?" I ask teasingly before taking a sip of my wine, although gorgeous is under no obligation to reply if she doesn't want to, and I let her know with a meaningful smile and expression as I just move on to the next part of her statements.
Pasta with salad and bread, it already sounds perfect to me, in any case that should be done relatively quickly right? "Gorgeous, I am sure that it'll be fine, don't worry about it." Winking at her playfully before glancing at Kayne since I am wondering the same thing, if she is feeling better, and if the wine is helping her. Although I am sure that she still has a lot to think about especially with what she and I have spoken about before I yelled for another bottle of wine. Either way, there is no way that I am going to reply for Kayne, because she is a big girl and she is much more in touch with her own feelings, even though I can guess more or less how she feels. After baby girl replies, I look at gorgeous with a warm smile but also inquisitive expression. "How are you really feeling, gorgeous? I know that you are very close to both of them too, and sooner or later, I am sure that we will get to the bottom of this, okay? I have already asked for that lawyer's case file to get a feel of him." I inform the both of them considering that they were no longer at the table when I received that call from the paralegal, whomever that was. "If it goes to court, I am not going to prosecute any of them, instead I'll be their defense attorney if it comes to that." Although when I think about it, I may not be able to do that unless I manage to get a derogation from the Senator himself, or maybe I should temporarily resign from that place ... I really do not know yet, I suppose I will have to wing it, but I still know what is right and what is wrong, the accusations are ridiculous, and currently Andros still has his diplomatic immunity and that won't be lifted until he resigns. Plus the crimes did happen on Umgul ... Leaning back against the couch, I take another sip of my wine and start thinking of ways to exonerate Andros' name from that, but as long as I do not have the lawyer's files either, I can't do a damn thing anyways.

It was also Delaana's sincerest hope that the Jedi and UPD did figure out who really was behind that attempt of a coup against Andros, and potentially the government as a whole. Considering the women's of this household affinities with the supposedly guilty, Lana really did not see their allegiance shifting for the men at all. Sure it would take more than that possibly before either Atlantis or Andros feel that the pressure was too much but knowing more or less Andros best than Atlantis, Lana was certain that for him those that mattered to him the most, it was the only support he would need. "Just trust on the fact that sooner or later they will see through this, my Shakal." Delaana tried to comfort her with words but for that, she wasn't even sure that it would do, so she smiled and looked at Elika knowingly. "Or at least trust in the fact, that you mean as much to them like they mean to you?" It sounded like she was going on a ventured guess there, but when people thought about it, Elika did tell her earlier at the restaurant that Andros was different with her, at least she figured that was when they were alone and she did not see Atlantis brushing Elika off to begin with as he was a Jedi but also the boyfriend of one of her housemates. But of course, deep down, she truly knew how much Elika meant to Andros and also how much her boss meant to both of the Vyridian twins.
Offering Elika another supportive smile, Lana looked briefly in the kitchen's threshold when Elika yelled back to Lily with an amused smile. "Me, biased?" Lana repeated teasingly as she felt her nose being rubbed by Elika's. "On the contrary, I truly thought that you are, when you stepped out of his office yesterday." Lana said sincerely as she rested her cheek against the palm of Elika's hand and just rubbed it gently. "Now you are the one being biased," Lana replied playfully before laughing softly and kept looking at Elika when she backed away with that promise of finding a nickname for Lana and instructing Lana to not go anywhere. "You know I won't..." Lana said slyly winking at Elika as she watched her just go towards the living room. Nibbling her lower lip briefly, Lana closed her eyes momentarily keeping all of her emotions in check before wiping her hands, silently walking towards her sport bag, she grabbed her datapad to send an encrypted message.
To: XO Subject: n/a
It's done.
Deleting that said message from her sent folder, Lana placed her datapad back into her bag and closed it leaving it as it were before she perturbed that and returned to what she had been doing, cutting the meat and she actually began to start frying that first after adding a touch of oil for the sauce...
Crystal had just poked her tongue out at Lily before noticing that Elika had emerged from the kitchen with the bottle. Thoroughly amused by her friend's action right there, Crystal giggled at what she was seeing and shook her head playfully. "Naiana is good for me, sweetie, so sure." Smiling warmly when her glass had been refilled Crystal picked up her glass and mouthed a thanks but she did not quite get there especially with what Lily had just said. Nudging her childhood's friend leg with her foot, Crystal rolled her eyes somewhat exasperatedly. "You are too curious for your own good sometimes, baby girl." Although, a part of her was also curious, it did seem to Crystal that Elika and Lana really did get along fine and the attraction really seemed mutual, but then again, Elika was allowed some privacy, so Crystal did not ask at all.
"The wine is indeed helping." Crystal said softly feeling comforted by Elika's rub and she briefly leaned against her friend before adding on. "The fact that you are all here, is also the best." Crystal added on sincerely before taking a sip of her wine. Listening to what she and Lana were preparing for dinner, Crystal smiled at that. "Sweetie, you won't mess it up, after all, you seem to have the extra help and back up you might need, right?" Crystal smiled at that before glancing from Lily to Elika after her childhood friend had asked that question. It seemed to Crystal that everyone seemed to be focused on her, but Elika was affected as much as Crystal was. That was a fact. "Baby girl, you don't have to jeopardize yourself for something so..." Crystal rubbed her temple faintly, she knew Lily and whenever she felt the need to do something she would do it. Getting a hold of Lily's hand and giving it a gentle squeeze, Crystal looked at her with gratefulness. "Thank you."
Although in the want and need to move along from that, considering that there was nothing much more they could do right now, Crystal just decided to change entirely the subject. "I sure hope that Pookie is having some luck with Ayodele, and hopefully it will allow him to focus onto something positive too." She truly wondered how Franz was doing, even in the middle of all of this, she was still glad that people she cared about found people that they were attracted to...

Still so deliciously euphoric after all that has transpired between her and Delaana, Elikapeka's mood is so buoyant that not even Lily's teasing, which might otherwise have embarrassed her, can threaten it, and so she is able to do her very convincing imitation of cluelessness when her friend jokes about things in the kitchen getting hot, frowning as though in puzzlement and tilting her head to the side with knitted brows. The confusion is replaced by an arched eyebrow accompanied by an I'll never tell grin when Lily asks to be apprised of any progress that may have been made by Elika and Delaana whilst in the aforementioned kitchen, and Elika tells her dryly, "I don't kiss and tell beautiful," leaving it to Lily's imagination as to how the comment might be interpreted. It is not that Elika is not inclined to share her happiness, if not all of the details, with her friends, merely that she does not think that it would be appropriate to do so at the moment given all that has happened, and all that they are concerned might yet happen; she also knows that, appropriate or not, it is not likely to escape either of her friends' notice that she is elated even while worried for the Vyridian twins despite the fact that Delaana's reassurances that the Vyridian brothers will make it through the present mess have successfully lessened her overall anxiety level.
Smiling when Crystal tells Lily that she is too curious for her own good, Elika nods while adopting a solemn expression, agreeing, "You really, really are, beautiful, then smiles as she adds teasingly, but somehow we still love you anyway, with a what can you do shrug of her shoulders. Frowning a bit when Lily, becoming serious for the moment, reassures her that the mystery of why all that has happened was set into motion will be solved, Elika nods as though agreeing even though she expects that it will not be as easy as they might hope to accomplish that goal, and can only hope that no one is hurt, or worse, along the way. I'll be . . . I'm fine, really, Elika says with a sigh, As fine as I can be anyway. Rubbing Crystal's back comfortingly once more, reminding herself that her worrying isn't going to help matters, Elika smiles more confidently than she feels and says, I just wish I could do something, laughing as she crinkles her nose and adds, even though I'm sure Andros and Atlantis are more than capable of handling things without any help. Wrapping her arm around Crystal's shoulders, Elika hugs her and says, They've been through worse, and they'll get through this too, you'll see. Standing up after giving Crystal a final hug, Elika tells Lily, She's right about not needing to jeopardize your career beautiful, I don't think that it'll get to where the courts are involved, there's no way there's any hard evidence since they didn't do what they're being accused of. Smiling when Crystal, changing the subject to a far less fretful one, wonders aloud how Franz might be faring on his date, Elika says, I'm sure he's doing just fine hon'. He's funny, charming, and chivalrous almost to a fault, so I'm sure she'll find herself quite taken with him, who wouldn't? Frowning and crinkling her nose, Elika muses, As long as he can get over his nervousness so those things come out, then shrugs and grins, guessing, I'm sure he'll get over it, so, she nods, my guess is that he'll have plenty of positive things to focus on. Gesturing towards the kitchen, Elika says, I should get back and at least pretend to try and help, then points at Lily with an eyebrow arched in warning as she says, Nothing out of you, thank you very much," smiling to make it clear that she is only teasing.
Entering the kitchen, Elika walks to the stove and stands beside Delaana, resting a hand on her shoulder with a kittenish smile as she teases, "Oh good, you're still here, adding, Lucky me, before squeezing Delaana's shoulder gently and then moving over to where the tomatoes are waiting to be peeled and seeded. Resuming her work after peering into the pot to see how close it is to boiling, Elika laughs as, returning to something Delaana had said earlier, she admits, I can't believe you found me the least bit attractive when we first met, I mean, I was so taken by you that I walked into a chair, and could barely speak. Shaking her head, Elika crinkles her nose and says, Actually, that barely able to speak part lasted a while, didn't it? Until I started speaking too much, which was probably just as bad, right? Or maybe that was worse? Shrugging, Elika looks over at Delaana and smiles as she jokes, You don't have to answer that. Finished with the tomatoes, Elika takes a sip of her wine after setting the tomatoes aside and then starts dicing an onion as she asks Delaana with a worried frown, You don't mind helping, do you? Crinkling her nose, she explains her concern, Miss Manners would probably not approve of putting a guest to work in the kitchen, would she?"

Why is she playing clueless with me right now? I am definitely looking at gorgeous with an unconvinced facial expression, because I clearly do not buy it ... Soon enough though, I am fanning myself when she tells me that she doesn't kiss and tell. "Uh huh ..." I do interpret that as kissing has occurred in he kitchen, and I am perfectly fine with my assumption because gorgeous has the happy vibe even if she is worried like the rest of us about the Vyridians. Grinning when baby girl nudges my leg, I look at her mischievously before looking at gorgeous who reiterates the statement. "Would you really have me any other ways?" Winking and giggling soon enough at gorgeous when she clearly says that the both of them still love me anyways, I take that as really they do not want me to change at all ... Besides, I do trust in the fact that they will tell me off when necessary, or if I am pushing it too much, but right now I do believe that I still have some restraint.
Taking a sip of my wine as I listen attentively to gorgeous when she fields my question, I nod in understanding, we are all in this position, we all want to do something to help but we do not know what exactly for the time being. "I do not doubt that they have been through worse, but sometimes the pressure from the public can be overwhelming, I suppose that it'll be our job also to remind them constantly that we are there for them no matter what." It is true for my case, like I am sure that it is the truth for gorgeous and baby girl too, and it's not that I do not care, or do not worry about the brothers, it's just that gorgeous and baby girl do know them better overall. Smiling warmly at what both Crystal and Elika tell me about my career, I actually wouldn't hesitate to do that actually. "There are only a few I would do that, and they are part of those few, but right now considering that Andros still has his diplomatic immunity on this planet, and it's the witnesses' words against his, witnesses that are criminals, I still think that the jury and judge would pronounce themselves in Andros' favor, that is if he does decide to lift his immunity for some unfathomable reason, but compared to what he has done for the planet since he got into office and what the criminals are claiming ..." Shrugging at the thought, although that thing is going to be complicated, I can already feel it and see it. I just hope that Atlantis also does find a way to exonerate not only himself but also Andros.
Right pookie and his date, I should probably find a nickname for her, maybe I'll have the right one tomorrow if she ever comes. Pookie is indeed those things, and I also hope just like gorgeous that he does get over his nervousness. Smiling as I do hope that we do get some positive feedback from him whenever we see him again, I snap out of my thoughts when gorgeous declares that she should return to the kitchen. Pouting and sighing exasperatedly when she warns to not even say a thing, even though she very well knows that I am unable to help myself because this is me. "Gorgeous, my dear gorgeous, of course you should help out the Hapan bombshell, I do not see her kissing anyone but you in the kitchen, plus it does take two to tango, so please, really do me a favor, make something up for you two to stay for however long in the kitchen." I sound serious there, although I am smirking inwardly but unable to help myself, I giggle at the thought and watch her go towards the kitchen. "She is smitten." Lifting my glass in baby girl's direction before giggling, I finally take a sip of my drink and put the glass down on the table before curling up on the couch. Then a thought comes to mind and I look at baby girl dubiously.
"Do you, by any chance, know where Ryan is?" He does have my keys, and when we walked in here, he was no where to be found, so it is making me wonder where he currently is.

Ryan hopped off the airspeeder he had been maneuvering, he had gotten his stuff from the Academy, and he also did some groceries, plus not only he got his candies but he also got his girlfriend's chocolate. He remembered that Ljiljana did love her chocolate, but while he had been shopping he had heard the news concerning not only Andros but also Atlantis. Ryan, of course, did not believe what the lawyer was claiming on behalf of his clients he also did not believe Andros to play vigilante in the middle of the night to eradicate enemies, plus he knew Andros, if Andros had done what the people claimed he had done, the younger Vyridian twin really wouldn't leave any survivors to live to tell the tale. Sure compared to Atlantis, Andros wasn't aligned on the same spectrum of the Force, but still the man had been on a path of redemption for a very long time, and doing that now, it was simply out of character. Plus he felt not fluctuation from Andros' signature last night while he was with Atlantis before retiring for the night...
Sighing softly and knowing exactly what those allegations entailed not only for his sister, but also his girlfriend, there was also the third woman in this household that cared very dearly about the identical twins. He figured he could revisit those matters later, right now he had to store the meat, the veggies and everything else he had purchased from the market. Holding onto those brown bags, he clearly only had two hands so he had no other choice but to levitate the rest with the Force while he opened the door to the lakehouse. He felt that the women were at home, with someone else, he did know more or less considering that he did have the privilege to have lunch with her too when he had been invited by Lily and Crystal. "It's only me!" He called out to announce himself, even though his sister would have known by now that it was him but the others, not so sure especially that he did not feel any of the Jedi around.
When he stepped into the living room, he saw his sister and his girlfriend smiling briefly in support before nodding faintly. "I heard..." Ryan sighed faintly, it was after all the talk of the town and clearly the population seemed to be divided by those allegations, some believed that Andros could have in fact done that due to his overall demeanor and the other half didn't really thanks to what the Commissioner had also said, but also based on the fact that Andros still had many support from not only the farmers, but also some of the population in the city that had been saying that Andros couldn't have done such things not when he had been working to make their lives easier somehow, with easier access to medicine and whatever. Although Ryan did not linger for too long, because those things, those accusations were all ridiculous to him.
"Right, I am going to put this in the cooling chamber and..." Ryan started to rummage one of the brown bags and found the box of chocolate for Lily before handing that to her. He leaned over to kiss her and smiled faintly. "That's for you." Smiling faintly he continued to walk towards the kitchen and saw Elikapeka along with Delaana right there who were both cooking. "Hi." Ryan greeted them with a warm smile before placing everything on the kitchen island so that he could easily put what he had bought in the conservator. "Please don't pay attention to me, I am just going to store this and be out of your way." Ryan told them meaningfully as he began to put the meat, he had gotten into the conservator but also the fresh vegetables and some of the fruits as well. He moved quickly and efficiently to put everything else in the cabinets, from spices to other condiments but also the vine-coffee he had found as he remembered that they loved this brew. "It's nice to see you two again." Ryan said sincerely before grabbing one of the ale from the fridge and closed that so that he definitely could be out of their way now. Something told him that he really did probably interrupt something.
When he got back to the living room, after making a detour in Lily's room where he dumped his own bag filled with his clothes, he sat down next to Lily and wrapped his arm around her before looking at his sister. He clearly did not have the right words to say right now, but he was hoping that his gaze would convey that he did not believe that Andros did that or that Atlantis was covering it up.

Lakehouse
Crystal slightly pouted when Elika said that she wasn't going to share at all, but Crystal did understand in a way why perhaps Elika didn't want to get into that especially with what had occurred during the day. But when Crystal thought about it, she wouldn't find it inappropriate at all if Elika did talk about Delaana right now, she did need something to keep her mind occupied, but at least she could tell that Elika was happy, which made Crystal happy for her as well, that was a given and it was completely undeniable.
Wrapping her arm around Elika's waist to hug her back, Crystal found comfort in that and she was also glad that Lily was currently saying other things in the same vein as Elika's. But that aside, Crystal looked at Elika with a warm smile before saying softly. "I am just glad that you have found someone who also can be there for you and who isn't too affected by this." Hugging her friend because she truly meant that, she guessed that Lana could be Elika's rock in these trying times. Crystal really found their words comforting, and she was worried for both Atlantis and Andros but more for Andros as surprising that sounded since he was the one that was being questioned really, so was Atlantis but like he had told her over and over again, he never cared for his reputation really. "We'll still help them, sweetie, by standing by them, like Lily has just said." Smiling at that although she found no reasons why Andros would want to lift his diplomatic immunity, sure he could be the proud type but honestly that would lead to nothing she guessed, unless there was something she currently wasn't thinking about.
Taking a sip of her wine, Crystal pushed that matter aside, since after all Andros did things often on the side especially when it concerned his own person all the time anyways. But thankful that Elika did go with Crystal's change of subject, she agreed entirely about Franz, he did have a lot to offer, and he should definitely get over his nervousness really. "I am still crossing my fingers for him..." Smiling warmly, earlier it did look like that Ayodele had truly been receptive by Franz's advances and she was only hoping for the best outcome for someone she considered like a close friend and truly appreciated for who he really was.
"Sweetie, you are helping," Crystal reassured her sincerely, she was even on the verge to give her that choice, that she could be called anytime if they did need extra help in the kitchen but considering Lily's comment right now, Crystal decided against it and just nudged her childhood's friend leg again with her foot. "You are so impossible." Crystal said playfully giggling faintly. About to reply about Ryan's hereabout, Crystal smiled faintly and looked at Lily but her answer did not come out, as Ryan's voice rang through the hallway. "There's your answer baby girl." Grinning and then taking a sip of her wine, Crystal saw Ryan who said that he was quite aware of what had happened. From his overall expression Crystal could tell that he did not believe those allegations either, Ryan knew the brothers best when she thought about it, so that was comforting somehow.
"Let me guess... Everyone is talking about that in the city?" Crystal said dryly, when Ryan came back from the kitchen, glancing at her brother briefly before shaking her head. "The two of them are supposed to come here tonight, hopefully that will give them a moment of peace..." The lakehouse was outside of the city, hidden and she never declared anywhere where they lived because she really felt that she was entitled to that privacy. Home was home, office and function was different and whoever was going to transgress that, she would drag them to court especially with the injunction pertaining her private life.
